Nobody has ever used the term "attacked your purity" in real life. Ever.
My 2c. The short sentences are very jarring to read. You should take related points and work them together into one sentence, breaking them up with comma's instead of periods. Shifting the dialog to it's own lines and not having it in the middle of paragraphs would help with readability too.
Er so this whole if it doesn't cause damage it's not an attack thing is a bit silly. I mean you could just go around killing people by detaining them and tying them up (dehydration) or suffocating them with the environment. I.E. putting a bag over someone's head doesn't cause any damage, tie them up, bag over head, watch as they die is perfectly allowed? Even if you can't die in the safe zones doing these sort of things in the right way would make it a fate worse than death. Water boarding doesn't usually cause harm... Also couldn't you just tie someone up and take them out of the safe zone?
Bit of a late reply, but you realise that the old man "trying to cheat him" still wanted a lower price than it was worth right? The Protag is the one cheating the old man at the end of the day even if he just paid it without threatening him. Go to any market or place you can haggle and see if people don't try to inflate their goods worth. Even if it wasn't worth it's initial price if you think that after getting an unacceptable price for something it's acceptable to threaten the seller to lower the price, you're a pos.
I like calling it a simp harem. If you're a normal person with any sense of self worth, having a large cast of the opposite *** fawning on you is just annoying, especially if they act possessive when you're not interested in them If you're a pervert then you'd take advantage of it and it'd be a different kind of novel. Only way the simp harem really works is if you're a narcissist (All the attention for no reason other than the amazing me!) or a loser (No balls to take advantage, and no self respect that would make it annoying).
The people that think knowing what goes into it means you can make it... saying just get three things and mix it is so simplified it might as well be magic. Let me just ask you these. How are you mixing it together? How are you forming consistent grain sizes and what grain shape and size do you need? You want sparklers, fine. You want something that can be reliably produced and used as gunpowder.. you better get people with a lot of time to start experimenting.
D&D is not a realistic system at all. So the thought of a world based of it makes me feel meh. Take the statement, wizards can't wear armor because reasons, instead they wear robes. None of the reasons would make robes better than pants, realistically a lot of the reasons against restrictive armor would apply to draping yourself in a robe too... The alignment system of D&D is dreadful as well. People can't be realistically pigeonholed so easily or with such simple/broad definitions. It doesn't even work particularly well in a restrictive game system sense (most online games or more recently created roll playing games do away with systems like this entirely and a good DM will mostly ignore it even if it does exist). Applying it to real people/situations is going to turn out terribly.
Hmm now I'm imaging his face if he used the extract on a guy and got a pair of silk bra and panties...
So Dumb, for Dumb readers (sometime's it's fun to read dumb right?). First round is an elimination that knocks out 90% of the contestants. But Author would have you believe that 'losing' three times in a row means getting tossed out. That's a lot of people getting tossed. Also if the actual #2 is in the same arena as the #1 in the first round, congrats you have a scenario where the sect could throw them out too...
(From memory!) The setting is that the cold war went hot and everywhere got nuked during the late 60's, people survived mostly by living under ground for years in communal fallout shelters while the surface becomes a radioactive wasteland filled with radiation storms and mutated beasts etc. I don't know if the 60's aesthetic will carry over but I'd imagine from the description that the fallout shelters and wasteland above will be pivotal to the setting. There's usually something wrong with all the shelters in the game setting too, like they were designed to run various nefarious experiments without people's knowledge, so that might be a theme as well.
