Alright, alright. I'll give some more context. 
It was back in my college days, roughly eight years prior to writing this (wait—it's been THAT LONG ALREADY?!?!). I was home for the weekend, as usual, but since it was early in the fall semester I didn't have much homework to do. So instead, I found ways to be a productive member of society!
…Not really. I just played too much Wii. Specifically, Super Smash Brothers: Brawl.
I had played the game so much with a friend in high school that I fell into a routine approach: I'd always do two-on-two team battles. As I dodged and spammed the A-attack for hours, my creative gears began turning. Ever since I was a kid, my brain has interpreted everything as some sort of story or narrative, and apparently playing a mindless game was no exception.
I began competing as the same team combinations over and over again, on all kinds of different stages. Before I knew it, I was forming fake little storylines for these teams in my head. 
(Apparently, at nineteen years old I wasn't old enough to stop playing pretend. But anyways…)
All this overly-specific gameplay got me thinking: this could literally BE a story. Fighters with special powers that always fought in teams of two…traveling to extremely diverse types of locations, to the point where they cross genres when they cross borders…
This could be fun to write.
As a Toonami kid back in the day who had recently returned to the anime world like some sort of Prodigal Weeb, I had seen my share of powered-up fighting anime. But I hadn't seen many concepts where the characters always fought as duos.
(I had yet to watch Pacific Rim, which had just released months earlier…but that's Pacific Rim. It just…doesn't count.)
On top of that, I thought it would be fun to implement a Pokémon-type culture. Hence, the Consciousness League: a fighting league where teams of two would travel around and challenge each other for money and potential stardom.
As for where they would all be adventuring, the idea of attributing genres to actual locations intrigued me. These power-enhanced duos would travel a vast world filled with virtually every possibility, much like the randomness of all the Super Smash Bros stages. It wouldn't be constrained to science fiction, fantasy, or realism alone.
While initially I had no idea what that would look like, it has since evolved into the story's setting and system: the Multiverse, containing Fiction Country, Realistic Fiction Country, Fantasy Country, Science Fiction Country, Normal Country, and Horror Country—all connected by No Man's Land.
(I understand I haven't explored this very much in the first Volume, but it's addressed much more in Volume 2, which starts next week!)
Similar to the limitless settings in the Multiverse, the characters would be just as diverse. In Smash Bros, I had been playing as two teams consistently: Link and Shiek, and Zelda and Lucas. These four characters were my initial inspirations for the main cast: Deon, Skrili, Zayza, and Lammy. 
And when you spend too much time fighting as Link, you start to question things.
Namely: how does he carry so much stuff around at once?? It always looks like he's pulling it out of his butt. Is his butt an infinite pocket of items??? Like, where is this all coming from?!
That gave me the whole "Imaginer" idea: a power where consciousnesses can create objects with their mind alone (Momo Yaoyorozu from My Hero Academia didn't exist to the public yet so don't come at me). Originally, all consciousnesses were going to be Imaginers. Instead, I landed on over a hundred consciousness types, like the original 101 Pokémon in Gen 1. 
To be fair, I can't really say Super Smash Bros: Brawl and OG Pokémon were my entire inspiration. As I mentioned, I was the Prodigal Weeb: returning to anime as a bright-eyed manchild and absorbing every second of shows like Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Bleach (the latter of which hasn't aged nearly as well as the former). As a reborn anime fan, those long-running shonen epics excited me. I wanted to try and make my own story like them, paying homage to my favorite anime.
And I kid you not: I genuinely, naïvely thought I was doing something unique by starting an anime-inspired ongoing novel. I had no idea the communities on Webnovel or other sites existed. Honestly, I wasn't even planning on showing anyone my work—I was going to use Conscious, Conscientious merely as writing practice.
So by this point, I had paused my game. I turned on my Toshiba laptop (Old Faithful…you will be remembered forever) and opened a Microsoft Word Document.
I'd been writing fiction for nobody since I was very young, but hadn't worked on anything in quite a while. This gave me the push to get back into it.
As I typed the first few words, it all began magically coming together into a pure masterpiece.
Just kidding, it sucked.
Throughout my college years, I went on to write around 26 chapters (which I called "episodes") of my original story. My ingenious approach was to write on the fly each time, with no idea of an overarching plot. I was winging it, just to keep my writing muscles exercised.
That caused A LOT of stupid plot issues. I DON'T recommend writing this way.
Eventually, I began emailing the chapters to close family and friends. One is a fellow aspiring writer, and you may see their work on this site one day…I'll let you know ;-) Over the years, after I realized I had a legitimate idea on my hands, this friend helped me flesh out the overarching story and characters.
This led to about a year ago, when I finally decided to try sharing my stories with the world for the first time. I had a clear beginning, middle, and end in mind, with all of the plot and character arcs conceptualized. 
The only problem was: my original 20-something chapters were in ROUGH shape. So I spent quite a while reworking and rewriting chapters, while planning what the overall release of the project would look like.
Aside from writing fiction for nobody to read, my other passion has always been making music. As a longtime Sonic the Hedgehog fan (the casual kind, not the questionable-fan-art-kind), I always loved how the 3D games would feature actual theme songs for each character. Plus, I discovered the immersive art of concept music from rock bands like Falling Up, who released an album called Hours with a corresponding audionovel of the same name. This was something I'd always wanted to try.
And so, as I prepared Arc 1 of Conscious, Conscientious, I also began writing and recording theme music for it.

And now, after several months of writing, recording, posting, and mostly just learning from dumb mistakes, we have the first 20 chapters of Conscious, Conscientious. I'm pleased to say: starting next week, we dive right into Volume 2 with Chapter 21.
In the next arc, you can expect a lot more exploration of the Multiverse and how it works, a lot more powers and types, and most importantly: you'll see the main characters forced to grow and change with new challenges, both physical and emotional. I'm excited to raise the stakes, as well as bring you some more theme songs. I hope you'll come along for the journey!

Like my last book hybrids can get pregnant whenever if certain things aren't used. They are the vulnerable to it in heat but that's obvious.

There are different types of hybrids as in animals. There are multi hybrids, double hybrids, and triple hybrids.

Alphas have red eyes and have a black coat unless they are animal that isn't black. The eyes are the same.

Betas have yellow eyes and have brown or a two tone coat. unless they are animal that isn't brown or two toned. The eyes are the same.

Omegas have blue, bright neon green, purple, or pink eyes and a white coat unless they are animal that isn't fully white. The eyes are the same.

Ones that drink human blood (these get weak if they drink animal blood but not weak enough they die.), the ones that drink animal blood (these die if they drink human blood), and the ones that drink from their mates (they can drink animal blood but not human blood they will get sick if they do. Drinking animal blood is a substitute for not being able to drink from their mate or mates).

Masked Goblins come from the Briar Frost realm of the Faerie world. Regular goblins come from the Dark realm of the Faerie world that is where they are ugly.

To find out if someone is a Masked Goblin is to see how they react towards a Light Faerie. Regular goblins hate Light Faeries so they will act upon it. Masked Goblins cower slightly, some try not to but they still do it. Masked Goblins cower more around

-I wrote some chapters a while ago and never really released it because I take a while between chapters so I thought it would be better to have more chapters ready.
I think I started it in November? I was bored at this time but then I had to work during vacation and had exams right after in January.

-I am not a professional author(more like an avid reader) just a noob trying to write something. English isn't my first language and I'm lazy but I hope to AT LEAST drop a chapter per week.
Each will at least have 2k words because I won't consider a lower amount 'chapter'.
I don't think this fanfiction will get in the ranking anyway, I'm mostly writing for myself but any reader is welcomed.

-There is a lot of better fanfiction out there, this one will not be good enough in my opinion so don't expect anything.

-I accept critics but please have them constructive, I also will delete any useless review composed of only exp or harem/no harem no matter the stars.

-Mc will be neither a good nor a bad guy, he will do what he wants depending on the world.
He will let some canon things occur.
(And I am not smart enough to do a cunning Mc)

-Mc will travel worlds but I hope to not rush them (he won't just go into a world destroy everyone and jump into the next).
So depending on the world the number of chapters will differ.
Worlds can be all types of fiction, mainly anime/manga/novel and game.
(I already have a list of fiction I can do after the first, maybe let you choose if the story ever gets popular).

-Mc will have a harem but the number of girls will always be 3 per world (I hope, not confident in developing more personalities).
I will always tell you the potential harem members, it will never be more than 10 choices in a world and I usually have my own in the three.

-I will try to do lemon (as R-18 chapters if you want to skip it, it will not have the same word count as normal chapters)

-All the alpha-beta or simp sh*t can get out, there will be moments with one and another.
Mostly for comedy purposes.

-Mc is OP but he travels worlds to have fun so he will rarely go all out, he will mostly use power from the current world, having access to all of it.

-Be mindful that I do not know everything about any of those worlds, expect some timeline error and some planned changes (not big ones, some characters birth will be sooner) if I made a big error, please tell me and I may change it.

Now I think the first world should be Naruto because this is the fiction primarily done here on Webnovel, also a finished original work, so I can grasp a lot of "canon" events and create things.

Synopsis: In the future, the world is ruled by beasts of war. In order to protect the cradle of civilisation, humanity must fight and develop her powers. There are three types of people in this new era: the normal people, the mech warriors and the mech designers. The mech warriors are the rarest of the lot, as only those born with the correct genetic aptitude are able to pilot those beastly war machines. They are the heroic warriors of the generation. The mech designers are composed of normal people who desire to interact with mechs but are unable to do so. They design the precious machines that the mech warriors use. The normals are... just your typical civilian unless they come from rich backgrounds. 
Ves Larkinson inherits a mysterious object from his parents which gives him access to the Mech Designer System. From there, he decides that he would become the best Mech Designer in the world. The system's questionable origins though brings him an increasing amount of trouble. His parents are also in danger as the system's trackers draw closer. To protect himself, he can only disguise himself as a religious nutcase to hide his eccentricities. At the same time, aliens draw closer to humanity threatening their very existence. 
Personal comments: A unique and niche book that goes into the glory and difficulties of mech design. It taps into the undeveloped market of mechs as most science fiction books out there only ever glorifies the mech warriors themselves. The author is very conscientious in his writing and the plot is carefully crafted. There are little to no plotholes and the story flows extremely smoothly. The language is carefully checked before publishing. There is also a decent amount of action in the book as Ves is dragged head in into various dangerous situations with no escape. The book fully integrates the need for action, and the purpose of an auxiliary occupation like mech design. The arcs do not feel repetitive at all and every chapter brings forth new ideas.

A list of recommendations of great books to read. There will be a mixture of books ranging from fantasy, science fiction, romance, modern day, system, cultivation. Books with males and female leads will be included. 

Note that not all books recommended would be completed. Some might have even been placed on hiatus. 

Books that are not included would be books where the MC is more brawn than brains, goes picking up fights left and right, has a plot armour so thick that its ridiculous, and picks up pretty girls in every arc ending up with a ridiculous harem that doesn't even fight each other and exists harmoniously.

Hey guys it's me with a question more like a message for you. Something that shouldn't be of big importance, but for others could be their only reason to not read my story.
So here I'll talk a bit about my story romance side, and clarify what's going on with my story.

Harem, if I'm to dissect this term and I actually did if you can believe it. It's split into more camps, people online who said 3+ is harem, and religions actually the main source of this term, Islam who says 4 women is allowed to men to marry.
I myself don't care that much about either of those things because I know my story could be said to sit in between those no harem yet still harem if you look at it from more directions. But until then you have a long way. Right now at the current chapter, there's been only one FMC introduced, yep. Pretty much after 90 chapters no harem so far.
So let's say it is a harem story, 3 love interests that I was generous enough to reveal, Sofiya (OC/FMC), Nico Robin ( I don't need an introduction for her, if u don't know her, what are you doing in an OP fiction?) and Boa Hancock (same like Nico Robin)

So out of the way with their reveals. I'll talk a bit about how my romantic side of the story would be handled while still keeping in mind that my story main tag is Dark and Kingdom Building before anything else.
Don't get discouraged you people who got messed up by those shitty Chinese novels with their garbage harems, or you reader who probably read more fiction than I could possibly have. You who have seen all sort of good and bad stories.
I with all certainty say my story will not be those types of garbage. While there are 3 love interests, each one of those FMC will have their personalities and characters set up, to be unique (I'll try my best)
The harem thing will be a late-stage thing,
By the time that happens you get to see the FMC's personality before being "fished" and what each one of them thinks of the MC. It will not be those dumb bitches stereotype who rides the MC D just because he's "handsome" and has "charisma" or whatever. It's a balanced type of relation. Where each one in the trinity has their own priorities and are independent of one another while still being in a relation.
You'll see as you read my story, I don't place an accent on the R18- H scenes. Life is not all about making it out in bed, while is indeed nice(means I'll add them occasionally at the right time), you also have to be productive.
In a dark story if I would start adding those types of elements from a harem story it would destroy the balance. What sort of dark story it would in the end be? I don't want to get my ass laughed at by the chickens. I really don't want that.

Another thing on my mind, Vlad is an aged person, he lived a life full of crazy stuff, while he still enjoys beautiful flowers and knows how to handle them. (something that MC's in generic harem stories don't know or understand)

Conclusion.
Harem isn't a big aspect of my story.  People who hate harem can read my story with a peaceful mind, and when it reaches the number where the story is the so called harem and you're dissatisfied by how I pulled, you can shit on my head as much you want. I'll don't mind it, knowing that is a result of my failure.

P.S: You have a set number for the FMC's, I'll not change my mind overnight) Even if those harem lovers come in my comments or in discord to ask I add more, I'll not.
I think that 3 girls are enough to make a picture of a good, balanced relation, with all their elements, good or bad from quarrels to making up.
Ahem with regard to girls reading my story if there are any (lol). I know some of you(if not most) like reverse-harems so don't jump on my head. Ok?

With only one choice, he shook the hands of the devil and journeyed out into the unknown, freed of his soul constraints, in a new world out of the world governors' jurisdictions.

In such a new realm, world,  his starts would be unlike what he experienced in his first life, but not far away from what he lived through. 
Nevertheless, every struggle he would experience would make him stronger, slowly climbing the ladder of the world's power structure until he would acclaim the title no one since that past world era had.
