In my previous world, although not into regular tv I was a huge fan of supernatural shows from vampire diaries/ originals to twilight. So with my accumulated knowledge on the various shows, I've come to the conclusion that Ive somehow been reborn into the twilight series a long time before the cannon.

I know this because the only series I remember spirit wolf tribes being mentioned in is twilight (shapeshifters).although I know what happens in the show, there's no way of me knowing what happens in this time period, there's also the problem of power, now that I know I'm in twilight how do I gain the power to fight for myself and win against the strong covens like the volturi. Who also originated in Italy from 1200-1100 B.C. 

But now that I hold this information, my future has infinitely expanded with multiple options to gain power and influence.

Hunting with my new teacher was tricky at first. We did everything possible from creating traps and tracking animals to shooting birds out Of the the sky with bows.

Thanks to the knowledge of the twilight series I know that the better you are in your human form the more powerful you are as a vampire. That's the rout I've decided, to become a vampire, although I don't know how yet due to my lack of knowledge of where they reside or how I would even get one to turn me without them eating me.

My innate ability to read people's facial expressions isn't improving at all, I can only wait to see if it get better in the future or I have to wait until I turn for it to improve.

Not only has my tracking ability improved but also my speed. My speed since I was a toddler was always a little abnormal, but now that I can actually run and be free it's really shown it's glory. My teacher (aka hunter) is in his mid 30s but me at the age of 8 can keep up with him, although not so good on endurance due to his longer years of training.

Now although my strength hasn't shown any signs of being abnormal, it's still nothing to scoth at, I would be able to take down a group of three children my age with my strength alone. Although most the children my age aren't actively training but only doing manual labour, and the activity's I've been participating in with my teacher require me to be constantly alert and using my muscles.Its still a great foundation for me to work with.

I woke up from a dreamless state famished and I wasn't able to ignore it anymore so I got out of the bed, pulling aside the covers to make my way downstairs. The loft was shrouded in darkness as I padded my way towards the kitchen, heading towards the refrigerator.

Opening the door, I was staring unseeingly ahead when I heard the passcode was being punched and the door was thrown open - bringing in a sliver of sunlight into the loft. Turning towards the door in confusion, I was not surprised to see Jiminie entering the apartment as quietly as he could.

"You're here early," I commented.

He let out a shout at my sudden comment and jumped in fright, as he wasn't expecting me to be up at this time and standing by the fridge door. "What are you doing there in the dark?" he demanded once he finally recovered. "Switch on the lights, why don't you?"

"It's still early," I grumbled.

"You scared me!"

"Baby, you're a scaredy cat."

"You're being mean, Alice!"

I chuckled. "Why don't you head upstairs first?" I suggested. "I'll be right there."

"Okay!"

As I watched him gallop away and climb up the stairs, I closed the refrigerator door and opened a hidden cabinet door - where I had inserted a mini fridge. It was filled with blood bags and I took one out, pouring the content down a black mug before placing the blood bag back inside.

I hear Jiminie climbing back down the stairs and towards the kitchen. "Oh, are you making coffee right now, Alice? Can I have some?" he asked excitedly as he brushed past me to grab a hold of the black mug.

"Jiminie, wait –"

I couldn't stop him in time. He had already taken a big mouthful of my drink. His eyes widened as he realised what he had drunk. I watched in trepidation as he set the glass back onto the marble counter and I turned incredulous when he swallowed it instead of spitting it out. A tense silence filled the air, and I wondered what his reaction would be.

"Is … is this blood?"

This is not how I'd tell him!

My plan is ruined! 

"Don't panic," I said. "But it is."

He sucked in a deep breath and I waited for his reaction. Will he yell? Will he run away? I was nervous because I couldn't read the expression on his face. He looked at the glass for the longest time and then he looked over at me. He must've noticed how worried and concerned I looked because the strange expression disappeared from his face.

"So, my suspicions are correct after all," he said.

I blinked. "What?"

He closed the distance between us and held my hands in his. His warmth has never failed to make me feel better. "Your hands are always cold," he explained softly, his thumbs rubbing soothing circles on the back of my hands. "You barely ate. You barely sleep and you barely age. And you didn't think I'd never noticed these about you?"

"How long have you known this?" I asked quietly.

"Since I was in middle school," he explained. "After I read the Twilight book series."

Jaemin was right. 

Shit, when was he wrong anyway? I got outed by fucking Twilight. This kid already knew long ago. Maybe ten years already? My mouth opened in surprise, not knowing what to say or do in this situation. I thought I had kept everything under control. To think he saw right through me was surprising and I felt embarrassed.

"I was kind of disappointed you didn't sparkle under the sun," he continued.

He blanched. "Why do you eat so little?" he asked.

I smiled. "I was being careful," I explained. "I thought I could accidentally break you. Sometimes I tend to forget that humans break easily."

He nods in understanding. "Is this why you keep calling me little one all the time?" he asked in awe. "How old are you anyway?"

"Are you sure you want to know?" I asked awkwardly.

He nods.

"Close to three thousand years old," I said. 

He sucked in a sharp breath and let out a curse.

"Oh, I was there when he died though," I explained. "It was not a nice place to live in."

"Alice!"

I laughed, relieved that he took it so well despite fretting over it for years and ruffled his hair. I was glad that he took it in stride and accepted me for who I am without fear. Even though I had a plan to reveal my real identity, I guess this was better than him accidentally finding it out the harder and more painful way.

"Next time, if you see a glass filled with red liquid, don't drink from it," I said with a smile. "It's not gonna be red wine because I dislike the taste."

He pouted. "But I want to drink with you!"

"We did drink before, silly," I said. "Soju is fine. Or makgeolli."

"Is that okay?"

"Yeah."

"Jiminie found out what we are."

He guffawed into the phone. "I told you he'd find out!"

I felt embarrassed. "Can you stop it?" I asked. "I don't need more embarrassment from you."

Jaemin guffawed again and wouldn't stop for another minute or two. Hearing my explanation had gotten him the tickles. I sighed as I waited for him to stop laughing at me. It was already aggravating as it is.

"Jaemin, stop fucking laughing!" I cried.

"You are so funny, my friend!"

"It's not! It's embarrassing! He compared us to those in the Twilight series!" I exclaimed. "We don't sparkle!"

"Why are you so worried about that?" Jaemin asked seriously as he finally stopped laughing. "Did he ask more about us?"

"He asked my age and he was surprised that we lived that long," I admitted. "I didn't want to unload too much information on him on the first day."

"Yeah, we'll get to that when he's ready."

"You think?"

"Hey, at least now you don't have to hide anymore," he offered.

Since I was outed by a glass of blood, I felt that the burden on my shoulders were lifted and I felt lighter than I had been. It was because I knew Jiminie was fine with what I am that I could breathe easy. I spent the day with a spring to my step, and work was completed quickly and swiftly so I had time to sit down and watch a movie.

As I was sipping on a glass of blood, the passcode to my door beeped and the door opened after the seventh number. A waft of vanilla and I knew who it was. "I'm watching a movie!" I announced, waving at him to hurry over. 

"What are you watching?" he asked as he neared, throwing his bag onto the floor as he sat down next to me with a sigh. "Is it a sappy romance movie?"

"No, it's a horror movie," I explained. "I've been wanting to watch it for a long time."

"I didn't know you like watching horror movies," he said, curling his legs underneath him and pulling a bowl of popcorn over to him before popping a few in his mouth. "Do you have ramen with you?"

"You know you don't have to ask," I pointed out. 

"Do you really keep stock of all my favourite brands at home?" he asked in wonder. 

"Why don't you go and check?" I asked.

He put the bowl onto the table and went to the kitchen to take a look. My focus was entirely on the movie and I had one hand on the glass as I stared at the television screen. Hearing him gasp over my stock of ramen instant noodles, I could hear tinkering over there so I knew he was preparing a bowl for himself.

Asking if he missed some scenes, he sat down on the floor cross-legged as he set the bowl on the coffee table and we watched the horror movie in relative silence. I munched on the popcorn and sipped more of the blood – now that I could feed without trying to hide it from him. It was a blissful moment and I was glad that he knew.

Two hours later, we sat on the sofa bored as I tried to find another show to watch when Jiminie popped a question that made my hand still. "What kind of powers do you have, Alice?" he asked suddenly. "Is it the same as the ones stated in the Twilight books?"

I tried to reign in the laughter. He's so adorable I couldn't contain myself from cooing at him. "I still can't believe you read the Twilight series," I said with a smile. "Did you watch the movies too?"

"They have movies?!"

"But it's not … nice," I said. "I wouldn't recommend it."

"I'll watch it at home then," he said.

"Well, don't complain to me after you watch it," I pointed out.

In fact, even without asking, Hao Ren would find a way to bring the millions of people in the city out. But Hao Ren still could not help himself. "What is the problem?"

Though this was expected, Hao Ren and Vivian became silent when they heard this.
Hao Ren looked up at the dome of the hall of the Iron Throne. The vault was not completely sealed, there was a large circular opening through which one could see the scenery outside. A series of crisscrossing steel beams and city buildings stacked on top of each other, making the entire Twilight Capital as if a bloated nest. In the deepest part of the nest, Odin was like a cornerstone, upon which the city was built upon and resting on his shoulder.
Though Hao Ren had not figured out how the Twilight Shroud worked, it was no doubt that the shroud was built and dependent on him entirely.
Hao Ren looked at Odin again. Sealed in a crystal, weak and decaying, he was the one person who could maintain the Twilight Shroud.
"Maybe you don't have to die," Hao Ren said after exchanging opinions with the MDT. "I have a way to make you healthy again. But before that, I have to ask you something. We have a mission here. We are looking for an ancient spaceship that once belonged to the wisdom giant Mimir. The spaceship should be quite massive. It sank into the Spring of Wisdom. But it is said that it could have followed the roots of Yggdrasil and moved between the Nine Worlds. So we are unable to locate its whereabouts."
Besides him, Vivian added, "If you can help us find that thing, we can transfer the entire Twilight Capital out of here."
A few seconds later, Odin spoke in a hesitant tone of voice, "Is the spaceship you're looking for, black?"
Hao Ren was shocked. "You know where it is?"
Odin paused and suddenly broke out in laughter. His voice was low, but it became louder and louder. He could not help himself. "Hahaha… it is fate. The three sisters of Nolan always talked about fate, but they did not foresee this coincidence."
Hao Ren grabbed Vivian's arm. "Will the old man pass out just like this?"
Vivian's brows pulled together. "No, he won't. He had already passed out 2,000 years ago."
Odin suddenly raised his voice. "Do you know what the Twilight Shroud is?"
Hao Ren was startled. "What is it?"
Odin's voice was heard from all directions. "The spaceship you are looking for is right here."
As his voice trailed off, a series of grinding sound was heard from the ground below them.
Hao Ren was horrified to find that the ground in the hall of Iron Throne was covered with a transparent layer. Everything including the throne and the cables were actually sitting on it. He knew because he now saw the slates were moving under his feet and retreating.
The grinding became louder and louder as the entire ground moved. The heavy slates disassembled themselves and dispersed quickly one by one into the base of the walls. Hao Ren began to see the secret hidden in the deepest part of Twilight Capital.
Inside a large cave glowing in a faint red light lay a massive spaceship.
Most parts of the spaceship were hidden in the darkness. It was hard to gauge its size and shape, but one thing was sure, it was a behemoth and not wholly silent. Lights were blinking on the part of its armor plates, and two light strips extended out from the depths of the darkness. Though the light was faint, it was enough to show that the central power system of the spaceship was still running.
And Odin's Iron Throne was actually built on top of a raised structure and connected with the spaceship.
"The Twilight Shroud was the shield of this spaceship." Odin's voice knocked Hao Ren out of his thought. "Though at first, I didn't know what it was, I later found out that the vines of Yggdrasil brought it to Midgard, and that it had powerful energy. Twilight Capital was not yet formed at that time. The few cities that barely survived were relying on a large number of runic shrouds to block off the threats from the outside world. So I thought this powerful source of energy could make a good defense system."
"Unbelievable!" Hao Ren's thought was precisely like what Odin said. Fate had a funny way to say hi to you; his decision to come here was right. Had he sidestepped Twilight Capital and looked for Mimir's spaceship elsewhere, he would have made a costly mistake!
But then again, he did have some foresight. Before coming here, he had vaguely felt that he might find some clues about the spaceship in Twilight Capital. After all, a city surviving the Twilight of the Gods must have a powerful force—a force that was unlikely to come from the humans. In his mind, he vaguely sensed that Twilight Capital could have something to do with Twilight Capital.
But seeing was believing. Hao Ren could not help but still be surprised.
"I couldn't open this thing though I have fiddled with it for a long time. But I could activate its shield from the outside and expand it to cover the entire city," Odin sounded proud. "But the shroud needs the power to stay online. So I sit here, day after day, year after year, to make sure the Twilight Shroud stays up."

The terrain of Dusk Swamp was a blend of a swamp and forest as all the paths were extremely muddy. Without an Ice wizard to pave the way, the players from Divine Martial Guild moved incredibly slowly. In that instant, all of them turned into the target of the long-distance players from Twilight City. 
Presently, Divine Martial Guild was merely left with seven to eight thousand players and the number of players from Twilight City was over ten times greater than them. Furthermore, Divine Martial Guild lost all their long-distance players which meant that they couldn't fight back. After waves of such overwhelming firepower, Divine Martial Guild was completely wiped out in less than ten minutes.
"Wow, Fearless is really the true boss. This stratagem is truly brilliant! I can't believe we slaughtered the entire Divine Martial Guild in just a few rounds."
It was a complete victory for their first fight and it was against a respectable opponent like Divine Martial Guild. This made everyone in Twilight City a happy person, especially 2012, who started showing off to Sanguine Warflag and the rest.

After receiving 2012's news, Sanguine Warflag hid in Dusk Forest to observe the enemies.
Without Fearless' order to attack, Sanguine Warflag could only watch the enemies wander in front of him.
When he saw how arrogant 2012 was acting, Sanguine Warflag started to feel slightly frustrated. After all, he was still the leader of the second greatest guild in Twilight City. The moment he received Fearless' command, Sanguine Warflag gave his order with excitement.
At the same time, a series of loud explosions could be heard from within Dusk Canyon.
When the army of outsiders, who were advancing forward, heard the series of explosions from behind them, they were all startled as they turned around hurriedly. At that moment, a bunch of Assassins popped out from nowhere as they executed [Haste] and blended in with the crowd. 
These outsiders invading Twilight City were all from different guilds and different main cities who didn't know each other at all. When they saw the Assassins blending in with them, all of them panicked and started attacking each other.
At this moment, the advanced troops in Dusk Forest also heard the commotion. When they realised that their back army was attacked, they were anxious and even wanted to turn back. 
Before these troops could leave Dusk Forest, a bunch of Warriors appeared out of nowhere to block their path.
When all the players were starting to lose their head out of fear, countless Twilight City's players started revealing their heads from on top of the trees around them. In a blink of an eye, the advanced troops were surrounded on all fronts. 
When all the targets in the forest had been finished off by Twilight City's players, the intruders in Dusk Canyon were slowly forced into the forest by Twilight City's Assassins.
The Warriors guarding the entrance intentionally left a gap to allow these players in. Following which, they were surrounded and once again, all exterminated like pests.
The terrains of Dusk Canyon and Dusk Swamp were vastly different. Due to the restrictions of the terrain in Dusk Swamp, it was much easier for ambushing and be ambushed.
Other than the one canyon in Dusk Canyon, the other areas were open space and the most suitable place to plan an ambush was the neighbouring Dusk Forest.
Therefore, Dusk Canyon was an extremely suitable entrance for a large number of players to enter Twilight City. As compared to Dusk Swamp, this was a much tougher place to defend. Hence, there was a need for them to separate the enemies to achieve their goal of intercepting the army and obliterating them. 
Under Fearless' command, both Sanguine Warflag and 2012 attained complete victory. At the same time, both of them learnt Fearless' fighting style.
For the next few rounds, the experience made the process much easier than before. 
It was true that there were a lot of intruders but each of them was only fighting for themselves which made them extremely disorganised in terms of fighting strength. There were only a minute few who could actually put up a fight against the players from Twilight City.
There was no longer the need for Fearless to command or give orders. Everyone simply started drawing a gourd from the model. With the absolute advantage in numbers, all of the intruders were successfully blocked at the entrance by the men led by Sanguine Warflag and 2012 at minimal cost.
As compared to the entrances at Dusk Swamp and Dusk Canyon, Dusk Mountain Range was much more peaceful.
This was because the other side of Dusk Mountain Range was actually the Dark Faction.
Twilight City's problem was an internal contradiction so the Dark Faction was simply there to watch the show as they would naturally not want to get involved.
Moreover, the path from Dusk Mountain Range to Twilight City was a one-metre-wide mountain road where one man could hold off any quantity of enemy. As long as the intruders had a little IQ, it was enough for them to know that they shouldn't choose this path to enter. 
For that reason, Fearless allowed Captain Don't Open Fire and less than ten thousand men to guard this area.
When Captain Don't Open Fire and his men saw how Sanguine Warflag and 2012 were constantly reporting their victories, they were infuriated and frustrated. All of them started cursing at how Fearless was using public office to avenge private wrongs by giving Void Blade such a useless role.

After the war lasted for a whole two hours, from 11 pm to 1 am, Twilight City held the absolute advantage and none of the intruders managed to advance half a step beyond what Fearless planned.
At this moment, the system announced the first armistice announcement.

It seemed like the system was still humane as they knew they shouldn't force players to play the game overnight.

No matter how many players they had, this was not a way to fight.
While some of them took their time to rest for the next day, others started researching and analysing other ways to enter Twilight City.
At this moment, Captain Don't Open Fire started harassing Fearless to prevent him from going offline.
"Boss Fearless, I know we have our disagreements in the past, but we want to do something for Twilight City too. Can you not do this to us? We haven't seen a single soul in the past two hours." Captain Don't Open Fire was on the verge of crying.

 Even though he was not that strong where he can kill the rank three spirit beast with his bare hands, it didn't mean they entirely dominated him.
 Instead, it was he, who dominated them with his sudden Spatial blades and the sharp Piercing attacks from the bloodlust spear.
 He continuously used his cloud steps movement technique for some sudden attacks amidst his fighting.
 Although the Spatial blades didn't kill them, it didn't leave without giving them some bloody scars as he used 1000 units of the essence of nature while releasing Spatial Blades.
 Soon he got the back up from his elemental spirits and Snow, which made the battle one-sided and the fight completed quickly after the backup.
 "Ummhuu", Ajax released a sigh of relief when the battle is over and looked a the corpses of the ghost-eyed Black foxes all around him.
 "Necros, devour them all without leaving behind a trace", Ajax ordered his Dark elemental spirit to use his latest skill 'Devour'.
 Devour can absorb any type of corpse and convert the essence of nature in that corpse to dark elementals which are used to increase his own cultivation. 
 But Dark-type corpses are very much useful as it didn't require any conversion and can be directly absorbed by him.
 Since these black-foxes are dark types and had a rank 3 strength which can help Necros greatly with his spirit cultivation and the 'Devour' skill can be progressed somewhat towards level 2.
 Withholding the desire of consuming the corpses until now, Necros directly jumped at them and devoured slowly in front of the glaring gaze of the Destructive Twilight Dragon.
 The dragon turned towards Ajax with an innocent and pity eyes, which made him feel sympathy and ordered Necros to leave two corpses for the twilight dragon.
 As soon as he ordered Necros, the dragon rushed towards a black fox corpse and munched on it delightedly but watching it eat make Ajax puke.
 When compared to twilight Dragon, Necros's eating is much simpler. He directly swallowed the corpse with his original largemouth which turned even larger, enough to consume the body of the black fox.

 "What? The danger rating is A??", Ajax shocked to see the danger rating of 'A' because this was the first time he has got an 'A' mission.
 Ajax managed to get out of the shock very quickly and waited for Necros and the twilight dragon to finish their delicious meal, at least for them.
 After finishing its meal, the twilight dragon fell on the ground with its eyes closed which made Ajax skip his heartbeat for a second.
 But upon checking on it, Ajax felt all his worry was in vain as he sensed that it was stabilizing the consumed Dark elementals from the corpses of ghost-eyed black foxes by sleeping.
 "I think, it will break through to the mid-level rank 2 or late rank 2 after completely absorbing the essence of nature", Ajax hoped it would become stronger quickly so that he can have another trump card in his sleeve.
 "As for the mission, if I complete it with a good rating, I can level up at least one level", He thought back to the level up conditions after the system upgraded. With a good completion rating, he can get an additional reward of breaking through the levels, so he became alert and checked his surroundings to find out the mystery behind the appearance of the Black foxes here.
 He saw a pitch-black dark cloud in the distance, so he carefully walked towards it before summoning back the beings who have the cultivation level of less than the Commander realm.
 That left behind Volcanis, Necros, Lighting dragon hawk, and last but not least the Undead Water python who has the strength of Commander realm.
 Soon he came to the pitch-black dark cloud.
 Below the dark cloud, a huge monster that looked like an Anteater whose corpse has been rotting for who knows how long.
 The corpse itself looks like a big castle which continuously releasing a foul smell.
 Closing his nose, he went nearer to the corpse unwillingly for the sake of the mission.
 Just when he was only 5-6 meters away from the corpse, suddenly something came out of the corpse abdomen scaring Ajax.
 The thing that came out of the corpse didn't waste any time before rushing towards Ajax.
 Ajax was unable to see that thing clearly because it came very fast that Ajax only saw a black flash.
 Ajax was unable to move the incoming attack fo the black silhouette as though he was frozen by something that didn't allow him to move.
 Just as he felt that death was almost confirmed in the hands of the incoming silhouette, a white shadow came in front of him like lightning to take the attack of the silhouette for Ajax.
 The white shadow is none other than his rank 3 spirit beast, Lightning Dragon Hawk, Snow who has the strength of the peak-level rank 3 with the Lightning Dragon bloodline and it will not lose out to any of the low-level rank 4 spirit beasts in speed.
 "Slash~"
 The incoming silhouette didn't stop with rushing and attacked the Snow, which resulted in the injury for lightning dragon hawk.
 Blood gushed out from the injury on its wing.
 As soon as it finished the attack, the silhouette disappeared into thin and Ajax can also move freely. 
 After he was freed, he ran towards the Snow, to check the wound on the wing.
 Seeing the wound on its wing, his heartache as Snow took that attack for him which resulted in the injury.
 Before he can think the thing that attacked him has disappeared, it came towards him with the same attack from the previously withdrawn position.
