Rencana mereka berhasil dan membuat kedua lelaki itu berbaikan dan kembali berangkat sekolah bersama.
Setelah kejadian itu, Rey kembali menjaili Sandi dan membuat lelaki manis itu merasakan sesuatu yang tidak pernah ia rasakan sebelumnya. Ketika Rey menyentuhnya atau mendekatkan wajahnya, Sandi akan merasakan sesuatu yang aneh pada perutnya, seperti ada segerombolan kupu-kupu terbang disana dan wajahnya juga merasa panas seketika. Karena hal itu, Sandi mencari tahu ap yang sebenarnya terjadi pada dirinya. Sandi yang sudah mengetahui jawabannya itupun bersifat biasa dan sedikit menghindari sentuhan Rey padanya karena menurutnya perasaan ini itu salah dan tidak seharusnya berlanjut.
Suatu hari Rey merasa jika Sandi menolak bersentuhan dengannya dan itu membuatnya kesal karena ia sudah terbiasa bersentuhan dengan Sandi selalu.  Rey yang tidak tahan dengan hal itupun mengajak Sandi untuk pergi dan bertanya pada lelaki manis itu. Saat itu Sandi mengatakan semuanya kepada Rey apa yang ia rasakan dan pergi meninggalkan lelaki tampan yang membawanya itu.
Sandi kembali sedikit menjauhi Rey dan hal itu membuat Rey tidak suka. Apalagi ketika laki-laki manis itu berjalan dengan seorang gadis dan bercanda gurau dengan akrap. Rey merasa cemburu dan tidak peduli dengan apa yang ia rasakan ini salah atau benar yang jelas ia hanya ingin sandi bersamanya. Rey memutuskan untuk menemui Sandi ketika orang tua keduanya pergi keluar bersama. Disana Rey mengatakan semuanya kepada Sandi.
Keduanya menjalani  hubungan secara diam-diam karena mereka tahu jika tidak akan ada yang menyetujui hubungan keduanya. Namun tanpa mereka sadari kedua orang tua mereka tahu tentang hal itu dan membiarkannya.

Applejack was walking towards her families´s farm. She did not noticed Fluttershy walking, they both bumped and falled onto the ground. Applejack falled on top of Fluttershy accidentaly. Are you okay sugar cube? she asked. I am fine, thank you, said Fluttershy. They then realized that they were on top of each other, and blushing, they got up. I am sorry, said Fluttershy, timidly. Nah don´t worry about that ,sugar, she said, blushing strongly. Uh...well..I have to go now, said Fluttershy. See ya later, she said. Applejack then went on her way. She was still blushing. That was a close one, she thought.
Later that day, she sits on one of the hay stacks. What was I thinking? Why couldnt I have told her??? she thought. I have to tell her, but..but what if it dosent work out? she thought. She suddenly got an idea. I know! I will ask Twilight for help! Maybe she can give me some advice!, she thought exitedly. She ran all the way to Twilight´s house. Twilight! Twilight! she called. What´s going on? she asked. You´ve got to help me! she exclaimed. With what Applejack? asked Twilight. Can we talk in a more private place please? she asked. Sure, follow me to my room. No one will hear us there, she repiled. Twilight and Applejack went upstairs. So what do you wanna talk about? asked Twilight. (Sigh) I need advice, said Applejack. Sure with what? asked Twilight. You see, I have a crush on Fluttershy, said Applejack. Twilight almost gasped. Have you told anyone? she asked. No, not yet, said Applejack. I need your help, I mean, I am brave, but I am not sure if I am brave enough to tell her this. What if...it dosen´t work? said Applejack sadly. Twilight looked at her in shock. She thought for a moment. Just tell her how you feel, she finally said. I´ll make a fool of myself, said Applejack. You won´t, Twilight assured her. And if she denies it, unless you know you tried, said Twilight. Applejack sighed. I will try, said Applejack. Now that´s the Applejack I know, said Twilight, smiling. Thanks for the help, said Applejack. You´re welcome, said Twilight. I will do it now then, said Applejack, confidently. Good luck! said Twilight. Applejack ran downstairs, and then outside.

All right now follow after your mommy. Good ducky! said Fluttershy, petting a baby duck. The duckling goes after mother duck, and the rest of the ducklings. So adorable! said Fluttershy, as she watched them swim away. She sighed and sat for a while, staring at the pond where the ducks swam. Fluttershy! called Applejack. Hi Applejack, said Fluttershy. Howdy Fluttershy, said Applejack. Listen Fluttershy, said Applejack. Yes? said Fluttershy. Ever since I met you, and the rest of the Mane six, I just wanted to say that....um....Fluttershy...I...I love you, confessed Applejack. She started blushing quickly and turned her head down in tears. Fluttershy looked surprised, and was blushing terribly. She loves me! she thought exitedly. Applejack? asked Fluttershy. Yes Fluttershy? asked Applejack. I...I..I..also love you too, admitted Fluttershy. You do? asked Applejack. Yes, said Fluttershy. Both of them were now blushing. Applejack then got closer to Fluttershy, and hugged her. Fluttershy hugged her back.
Applejack´s POV:
I hugged her closely. I could not believe that she loved me too. I am so happy now. I then softly touch her cheek and get her lips to mine. I kissed Fluttershy, and she kissed me back. We kissed for a while.
Fluttershy´s POV:
Applejack hugged me closely. I hugged her back. I wanted to feel her strong, protective arms wrapped around me. She then started to kiss me. I kissed her back. I finally could feel her lips. They felt amazing. For once, I am not scared. I am more than happy today. We kissed for a while.
After the kiss, Applejack and Fluttershy let go. It was already nighttime. I have to go back to my house now, said Fluttershy, yawning. Mind if I take you there? Applejack offered. Are you sure it is not a problem? she asked. Babe, you are not problem for me. You will never be a problem for me, Applejack reassured her. Fluttershy smiled, blushing a bit. Well, ok , she said. All righty then, lets go, said Applejack. She suddenly lifted Fluttershy, and carried Fluttershy in her arms. Fluttershy wrapped her arms around Applejack´s neck. Applejack walked all the way to Fluttershy´s house. Fluttershy, we are here, said Applejack, when they had gotten to the door. She looked down and saw that Fluttershy was already asleep. Applejack sighed happily. She entered the house, and laid Fluttershy on her bed. She covered her in a blanket. See ya´ tomorrow sugarcube, she whispered softly, as she kissed her gently on the lips. She then exited the house and closed. She then walked to the farm, and went to sleep on her bed, very happy.

Halos isang linggo na ang nakakalipas ng mahuli na ng tuluyan si Brix pero sa safehouse pa din nag-stay sila Jake at Lexi kasama pa din sila Carlo, Bianca, Fred, at Teresa. Gusto munang masigurado ni Carlo na wala na talagang galamay si Brix na maaring maging peligro pa din sa dalawa.

"Yes!" Sabi ni Lexi ng ma-hit niya ang gitnang target ng dart board. "Grabe, daig mo na ako ngayon ah." Sabi ni Bianca. "Magaling kang magturo eh." Sabi naman ni Lexi. "Okay, last one." Sabi ni Bianca pagkatapos ay hinagis na sa ere ang dart pin. "Yehey, panalo ako!" Sabi ni Lexi. "Talaga naman!" Sagot ni Bianca. "Well, ang usapan ay usapan. Ang parusa ay parusa." Nakangising sabi ni Lexi.

"Tart!" "Lovidubs!" Sabay na sigaw ni Jake at Carlo. Pawis na pawis ang dalawa dahil kagagaling lang nila sa paglalaro ng basketball sa taas. Tumingin ang dalawang dalaga sa kanila. Nang mag-thumbs up si Jake ay patakbong lumapit si Lexi sa kanya sabay yakap. "Paano ba 'yan, Bianca?" Nakangising sabi ni Lexi. "Oo na!" Inis na sabi ni Bianca na nakatingin ng masama kay Carlo. "Sorry na, Lovidubs. Taragya, MVP pala 'tong si Jake mula highschool hanggang college eh." Sabi ni Carlo. Nagkibit balikat lang si Jake at inaya ng bumaba si Lexi para makaligo at makapagpalit ng damit. 

Pagkatapos maghapunan ay naupo na muna ang anim sa sala para magkwentuhan, kaharap ang ilang pulutan na niluto ni Fred at Teresa at ilang bote ng beer. "Dahil last day na natin dito, let's celebrate!" Sabi ni Bianca at sinimulan na nila ang inuman.

"Hep-hep-hep, saan ka pupunta, Bianca?" Bati ni Lexi sa dalaga na papasok na sa kwarto nila ni Carlo. "Lexi naman, alam mo naman na hindi ako makakatulog kapag hindi ko katabi 'to." Sabi ni Bianca na ang tinuturo ay si Carlo. "Ang daya naman!" Pagmamaktol ni Lexi. "Wala kang isang salita!" Patuloy ni Lexi. "Oo na, eto na." Sabi ni Bianca na ikinangiti ni Lexi. 

Nagkaroon sila ng pustahan. Maglalaban sila Jake at Carlo sa basketball samantalang sila Lexi at Bianca naman ay sa dart. Ang matatalo ay may parusa. Dahil parehong natalo sila Carlo at Bianca, ang parusa nila ay ang hindi magtatabi ngayon gabi, so,in other words, walang sexy time.

"Walang madaya!" Sabi ni Lexi bago tuluyang pumasok sa kanilang kwarto kasama si Jake.

"Tulog na tayo." Aya ni Lexi at humiga na sa kama. Maya-maya ay naramdaman na din niya ang pagtabi sa kanya ni Jake. "Kamay mo." Sabi ni Lexi ng maramdaman na unti-unting nagmimilagro ang kamay ni Jake sa katawan niya. "Tart naman, isang linggo na kong walang sexy time ah." Reklamo ni Jake. "Magtiis ka." Dahil nakatalikod si Lexi kay Jake ay hindi nakita ng binata ang ngiti ng dalaga. "Tart..." Malambing na sabi ni Jake habang hinahalikan ang tenga niya. "Tulog na." Sabi ni Lexi pero hindi sumunod si Jake. Gumapang ang kamay niya sa dibdib ng dalaga at natuwa si Jake dahil alam niyang umeepekto na ang kanyang panunukso kay Lexi. "I love you, tart." Sabi ni Jake at pinaglandas pa niya ang kamay pababa sa tiyan ni Lexi. Hinayaan lang ni Lexi na maglaro si Jake pero ng biglang mapamura ang binata ay natawa na siya. 

"Lexi! Bakit hindi mo agad sinabi?" Kadiri ka!" Sabi ni Jake na tumayo para hugasan ang kamay. Tawang-tawa pa din si Lexi ng bumalik sa kama si Jake. "Sinabi kasing magtiis ka, ayaw mong makinig. Ayan, nakapala ka tuloy." Nakangising sabi ni Lexi. Nang tumingin sa kanya ng makahulugan si Jake ay biglang kinabahan si Lexi. At ang sumunod ng madidinig sa buong kwarto ay ang tili at tawa ni Lexi dahil sa pagkiliti ni Jake sa kanya.

Unang tibok ng puso ng isang musmos na bata. Maari bang maging malalim na pagtingin ang isang mababaw na paghanga?

Masasabi ko pong ito ay partly, ang tagalog version ng first novel ko, My First Love, pero hindi po ang kabuuan. Maari pong may maiba sa takbo ng story.

Violet~ What happened? 

Dante~ Jamie… she… she told me not to trust my mom and that she's been lying to me my whole life. She warned me too far away from her and to save my brother from her… 

Violet~ What happened next…? 

Dante~ I left Sunset's house to find Jamie and when I found her she had blood dripping down her neck. She was so weak that she couldn't use any of her abilities. I could tell that she was tortured. My mother caught up to her and took her from my grasp. Then she… she… 

Violet~ She what? What did she do? Dante spit it out. 

I grabbed my chain necklace in complete emotional pain.

Dante~ I… I tried to save her… but… when I took the first step… my mother crushed her neck… and Jamie died… and… it hurts so much that my own mother would put me through all of this… and it infuriates me… 

My eyes started to glow an even brighter red. 

Dante~ She lied to all of us… even you violet. She's the reason why the government wants us dead… she's the reason why we're the outcasts.

Violet~ Dante… 

The front door opens and Twilight walks into the living room where Dante and her mother were sitting. 

Twilight~ Dante… are you ok…? 

Dante~ I don't know… so much has happened tonight. 

Twilight~ I'm guessing you told my mom what happened? 

Violet~ I know everything dear.

Dante~ There is one more thing. My mother told me that deep down inside me is something that makes me just like her… I'm guessing that explains the red eyes. 

Violet~ It's no doubt Dante you're a Rouge owl but not from willingness. You must have been born a Rouge Owl because you don't have a reason to become one. 

Dante~ Until now… 

Twilight~ Dante… 

The room grew silent for a minute. I stood up with my head down avoiding eye contact with anyone. Soon violet left the room to give Twilight and I some time to speak alone. Twilight walked up to me and gave me the softest hug she had ever given me. Soon she lightly lifted my head up looking me in the eyes. She soon placed her hand on my chest and slowly came a little closer to me and closed her eyes and I closed mine wrapping my arms around her and we kissed. It was a really passionate kiss like I could feel her energy crossing with mine. She slowly pulled away from the kiss looking me in the eyes again.

Twilight~ I understand what you're going through. It's hard to find out that the person you trusted the most turned out to be the bane of your existence. I can feel a certain vibe coming from you Dante… I can feel your emotions… I can feel… your energy. I know you can get through this… but not on your own. 

Dante~ I'm surprised you haven't left me yet… knowing my real past and everything. 

Twilight~ Dante… I don't care if you're a killer and I sure as hell don't care if you're a Rouge. I still love you and I always will. 

Dante~ But… my mother- 

Twilight~ She made her decision… now it's time for you to make yours. Are you a killer, or are you the sweet, loving and kind Night Owl I fell in love with? Both you and I know the answer to that question Dante. You and I both know Rouge or not you're still a Night Owl and you're a hell of a great one too. You're kind, smart, charming and most of all you're strong. 

Twilight then grabbed my hand and directed me to the front door. 

Twilight~ Come on.

Dante~ Where are we going? 

Twilight~ We're going back to Sunset's house and I'm not leaving your side. 

Dante~ Hopefully they all aren't mad at me for earlier.

Twilight~ I think they all understand how you felt at the time. Can you get us there or do you still need a few minutes? 

Dante~ No I think I'm ready. Hold on tight ok.

I wrapped Twilight in my arms again and we disappeared into the night. 

At Sunset's house… 

Rainbow~ Did you really have to do that to him!? You knew Dante wasn't feeling himself and you pushed him and held him against a damn wall! 

Rip~ Dammit I know what I did and I regret it… Dante was the only person who cared about me when nobody else did. He picked me up when I fell down… and now he fell down and I didn't even bother to try and pick him back up. I'm scared, scared that he won't forgive me for what I did. 

Rainbow~ Rip… I'm sorry, I should have taken how you felt into consideration before I blew up on you. 

Rip~ Just… don't, please… 

Rip walked away and sat down on the other side of the room. 

Rainbow~ So now what do we all just go home? 

Sunset~ I don't think we all should go home. I know Twilight will come back with Dante and when he gets here we have to be here for him. He needs us more than ever… we can't just leave him alone. 

A dark aura started to appear and in it was Dante holding Twilight tight in his arms. Dante loosen his grip letting Twilight know that they had arrived. Everyone in the room gazed in awe of the cute couple. 

Sunset~ You two are so cute together. 

Rarity~ Like a scene out of a movie darling.

Dante~ well what can I say Twilight is the greatest girl I've ever had in my life. 

Twilight~ And you're the most charming guy I know. 

I laid in a huge bean bag and Twilight decided to lay with me. She snuggled into me as I lightly caressed her. 

Rainbow~ Ugh this is too mushy for me, but it's so adorable. 

Rarity~ Like I said, like a scene from a movie. 

Sunset~ How are you feeling Dante?

Dante~ Better, knowing I have all of you here with me. 

Rip~ Hey, Dante… I wanted to apologize for earlier… I shouldn't have been so violent towards you. There's no reason why I did that I was just… so… so… 

I spoke in the softest voice anyone even fluttershy could ever hear.

Dante~ Rip… trust me, it's ok. We all have our moments. We all can get a little out of control sometimes. I mean heh remember that day in the school cafeteria? I lost my cool that day and not only I was able to look past it and everyone forgave me. Just like how I forgive you. 

Rip~ Yeah but you won't be catching me going crazy with wild and unstable abilities heh. 

Dante~ Heh yeah

I laid back and sunk deeper into the beanbag and so did Twilight. I looked at her as she cuddled into me and gave her a light kid on her forehead. Then we heard a light snore from her. At that point we knew she had fell asleep. Soon everyone started to give me funny but chill looks. I laid there completely nervous while holding Twilight in my arms. 

Rarity~ Something tells me this isn't the first time this has happened. 

Dante~ Heh what makes you say that? 

Sunset~ You're really casual about it. 

Rainbow~ You also can't take your eyes off her. 

Rip~ And your voice is so soft and chill to the point where not even Fluttershy's voice could challenge your softness. 

Dante~ Ok you got me. We were at her house and we slept together for the first time. She fell asleep in my arms the same way she did tonight. I don't know what it is about her but she looks so… majestic when she's asleep. It's like she's an angel resting on a nice puffy cloud, high in the sky where the moon shines and the stars appear. And when I'm with her it's like I follow her on that journey to a peaceful night's rest. A peaceful… *yawn*night's… rest… 

I fell asleep mid sentence. I tried not to but I've had a long night and the others understood. They didn't bother to wake me and Twilight up and let us rest peacefully. 

Fluttershy~ So cute. 

Applejack~ Ya telling me. 

Sunset~ I'm glad they're together. 

Rip~ Yeah *yawn* I'm also glad they're together. 

Rainbow~ Sounds like someone is tired. 

Rip~ No! I've just had a long night, actually we all have had a long night. 

Rainbow~ Rip, you're tired don't deny it. 

Rip~ No im- *yawn*... *Sigh* you got me, I'm tired. 

Sunset~ Same I think we all should get some rest. 

Rarity~ *Yawn* I agree. 

Everyone changed into their pajamas except Twilight and I because we were already asleep. When everyone was changed they all set up their sleeping mats and blankets. They all said their goodnight and ended the night l. The lights went off and everyone fell asleep. 

Meanwhile with Rose… 

Rose is back at her house sitting inside Dante's room. She starts to walk around the room looking at everything Dante ever owned. She came across an old picture of her and her husband together (who happened to be Dante's father).

Rose~ Donny… I know you're gone… but don't worry… I'm gonna get revenge for you… forget the human race I only have a problem with the same people who killed him… wait… 

Rose soon had a moment of realization. 

Rose~ That's why… that's why I still have a thirst for revenge… I didn't kill his wife… I thought I only wanted them to understand how I felt without my husband by killing hers when in reality… I wanted them to know what it's like to live without a family… 

Rose looked at herself in the mirror. Her eyes turn into a bright red color and her long hair became white. She then looked at the photo again and started to remember the good times she had in her past. Every memory she had with her husband and her two sons only filled her with rage. She wanted them right next to her but knows that can't happen because of… them.

Rose~ The husband wasn't enough… I want to kill the wife… I want her dead… I want her to rot in hell… And when I get the chance… I'm gonna make her death slow and painful… I remember her name and her face. She can no longer hide from me. 


This is about an 18 year old boy who goes to a high school whit abunch of other students that have their own abilities. Although his time in high school may seem normal. there are some things he doesn't know about his true self and his family as a whole which causes some terrible and unbelievable events to occur. 

I do want to let you know that this is one of my first stories so I apologise in advance if you don't like it.

Also characters like Dante and his friends are all at least 18 years of age in the story.

"We underestimate the importance of balance. When it's there, we're at peace. When something is off, everything falls. is no different. It put too much faith in technology, allowing to return, and because of your friends, now the world is without power. When one relies on something too much, we become weak, vulnerable, imbalanced. In order to find your full potential and unlock your true power, you must find your own balance." Garmadon said teaching Lloyd about his power. 'And getting into Sensi mode on his own son' Twilight thought mentally laughing at the thought.

"I'm already the ultimate spinjitsu master, how much more power do I need?" Lloyd questioned whilst Twilight looked away because she remembered the amount if power that is inside of her. "You've only scratched the surface! You have the potential to move mountains. Power of the first spinjitsu master!" Garmadon said remembering his father and getting another rock and balancing it on the overflowing pile that Lloyd had on his feet whilst he was doing a handstand.

"The destroyed the power substation, essentially destroying and his . Why can't we go back?" Lloyd questioned missing his friends, I mean who can blame him they raised Lloyd for quiet a long time. They're the only family he had for a while. "Essentially? Until the Overlord is fully erased from the system, we must not go back, but forward!" Twilight had answered sorrowful whilst Lloyd was letting out grunts of both frustration and how heavy the rocks were that was on his back. 

Lloyd had lost his grip on the ground and had fell when Garmadon had place an extremely large boulder top of the pile. Lloyd was ok but that didn't stop Twilight from screaming his name and running towards the pile of rocks which had moved and revealed Lloyd unharmed. He raised an eyebrow at her with a smirk on his face which had meant 'so, you DO care about me?' which Twilight had brushed off by saying "I was just worried that your father and me were keeping you alive for no reason because he had killed you by crushing you with boulders." But Lloyd didn't believe that and kept the smirk on his face as he backed her up into a wall and whispered into her ear "well it's good to know that you care." and placed a small kiss behind her ear still smirking.

"If you can't move mountains, I guess we'll have to move over mountains." Garmadon said snapping them both out of their little world, whilst Twilight looked flustered Lloyd looked cocky and victorious. " Oh yeah?" Lloyd questioned. " And this next one looks particularly steep."  Garmadon had said as they started walking with the flustered Twilight trailing behind them and it didn't help that Lloyd still had that dumb smirk on his face.


" Over here! I found him!Are you all right, Mr. Borg?" one worker said after them all of them searching for him for days but all Borge says is "Yes, yes but how long have I been out?" the same worker just simply responds with "Quite a while, sir. We've been without power for a few days." bt with enough emotion to show that he cares

They all went up to Borges office and the worker wheeled him up to his desk at his command but that was a mistake because Borge started panicking 

"The hard drive: It's missing! Have the ninja returned with the ? Please, it's very important!"
however a different worker responds with  "Uh, no. There's been no one else inside the building." but borge sees another problem "Wu . . . He was right here! Where did he go? And who would take the hard drive when the Overlord virus is still on it? Oh, so many questions, so few answers."


this is the story of a girl who had always had her destiny decided before she could even try to object. follow her through out all of her adventures and see where she gets. maybe even fall in love with a certain Garmadon whilst she's at it.

What she doesn't know is that she was and still is betrothed to him but what if Lloyd does.

I only own the character Twilight Maleficent Celestial Lord most of the plot line is from the TV shows called Ninjago: masters of spinjitsu. However, some of the plot I did add in is made by myself.

We rode for hours; Bress driving the team of horses as I huddled inside the carriage, cradling Nighean as carefully as I could so she wouldn't be jostled too much. I'd given Bress my cloak since it was cold out, and I felt bad for not making him put his tunic back on before we left. I was warm enough inside the carriage anyway.
Then a wave of magic gave me the chills, and I looked out the window to see packed-earth walls surrounding us. The dark intensified into a void, but Bress kept his rapid pace. I suddenly realized where we were; inside a large fairy mound. Was he taking us into the Human Realm first? Why?
The passage brightened and then we were riding out into another forest. This one felt familiar, and I knew it was the Twilight Forest. What the hell? I hung my head out the window so I could shout to Bress.
"Did we just go through a fairy mound?"
"Yes," he called back. "The road between Unseelie and Twilight."
Right; the paths between the kingdoms. I'd forgotten about those. We were now in Twilight, but we literally weren't out of the woods yet. So, I pulled my head back inside and began to pray to Danu for our safe passage; that we'd make it all the way to the Twilight Court before Uisdean realized that I was gone. I don't know if she heard me, there was no answering tickle of magic, but a few hours later, just as dawn was lighting the sky and the power of the in-between was filling me, the Twilight Castle came into view.
I nearly cried in relief as Bress brought us right up to the gates, but then the Twilight guards started shouting down at Bress aggressively, and I had to lay Nighean down so I could jump out and explain.
"He's with me!" I called up to them as I rushed forward and laid my hand on the gate. It shimmered away to reveal a courtyard full of Twilight warriors.
Bress drove the carriage through the gates and then the bars reformed behind us and a shimmering curtain of magic fell. I climbed back into the carriage as Bress got down from his seat in a daze.
"Bress!" I called, and he rushed over to me. "Take her." I put Nighean gently in his arms and then jumped down beside him. Before I could say anything to the knights around me, I was bowled over by a peppy puka. "Cat!" I laughed and ruffled her fur. "Did you miss me?" She yipped happily and licked my face with her sandpaper tongue. "I missed you too."
"She was inconsolable... as was I," Tiernan's voice came from somewhere above me, and I pushed Cat gently away so I could see him. His face was strained from a lack of sleep and his eyes were shadowed with worry. They cleared when they met my stare, and I gave him a small smile.
"And I." Keir pulled me to my feet and into a hug. "Seren, I've never been so terrified. How did you manage to escape Uisdean?"
"With his help." I jerked my thumb toward Bress, who was still holding Nighean. With his wounded face, bare chest, flowing cape, and armful of damsel in distress, Bress looked as if he belonged on the cover of a romance novel.
"Bress?" Keir gaped at his nephew. "Are you...?" He turned and looked at me with wide eyes. "You struck him?"
"A few times. With fists and magic." I shrugged and saw Torquil edge around Tiernan. "Hey, blue fairy. It's good to see your face. I was worried about you guys."
"I failed you, Princess Seren." Torquil hung his head and dropped to his knees. "I beg your forgiveness."
"We failed." Tiernan's jaw clenched as he set his stare on me. "Please forgive us, Your Highness."
"Guys, come on." I grabbed Torquil's shoulder and yanked on it until he stood up. "I was there remember? There was no way to win against them. You did your best, but we were outmanned and outgunned. You can't win every battle. I'm just happy to see that you're okay. No one failed me."
"Your Highness is too forgiving." Torquil swallowed roughly. "I will endeavor to be worthy of your kindness."
"She is quite reasonable, I think," Keir decreed to everyone's surprise. "You both performed as best you could. If a Lord of the Wild Hunt was defeated, then the challenge was too great for two knights alone. Sometimes, our enemy wins the day, but Twilight will always prevail in the end." The soldiers filling the courtyard shouted in agreement and then Keir turned back to me. "We were just arming ourselves to ride to the Unseelie Court and obtain your freedom." He shook his head with a smile. "But it looks as if you've freed yourself. You are definitely your mother's daughter."
"And my father's," I added in a low voice. "I'm told you're the only other fairy with star-crossing magic."
"I am." Keir ran his palm over my cheek. "I'm so glad it has manifested within you."
"It was damn good timing," I agreed.
"Seren?" Bress asked; looking confused. "What do I do now?"
"We're going to take Nighean inside in just a minute. Hold on, Bress," I said gently.
"Okay, Seren." He smiled at me complacently.
"Sweet Danu," Keir breathed as he looked over Bress. "You did a hell of a job for your first time. He's as starry-eyed as they get."
"Yeah, I guess I know what I can do with my magic now," I said as I absently stroked Cat's head.
"This is only the beginning, Seren," Keir said with a wry look.
"Oh?" I blinked. "What else is coming?"
"Only Danu knows," he said with an amazed tone.
"Great." I sighed. "Well, in that case, can we get Nighean inside? She's hurt pretty bad."
"Nighean?" Keir frowned, and I made a motion toward the bundle Bress was carrying. Keir went forward and pushed back the hood around Nighean's face. "Fetch a healer!" He shouted as he ushered Bress inside. "Seren, why do you have an injured sylph with you?"
"You don't want to know, Dad," I said grimly, "but I'll tell you anyway. Let's just get her taken care of first."
"All right, Daughter." Keir kissed my cheek, and we all went into the castle.
I began to follow Keir through a door on the right side of the entrance hall but before I made it through, Tiernan stopped me and pulled me off to the side.
"Seren," he whispered a second before he set his mouth over mine.
I slid my hands around Tiernan's neck and sank into his kiss; relief, happiness, and excitement pooling inside me. I'd worried about Tiernan during my entire night in unseelie hell and seeing him whole and alive was another answered prayer. I was racking up quite a tab with this fairy goddess.
"I'm so glad you're all right," I whispered when he pulled away. "I thought they might have killed you."
"I'm a Lord of the Wild Hunt," he reminded me... again. "I'm not so easy to kill. Although, they almost managed to kill Torquil. Once they had you, they gave up on us and left. I was able to carry him into Fairy and get us home."
"Good job, my Lord Shadowcall." I traced a finger over his shimmering scar and then my eyes fell on the statue behind him. "Oh, damn." I pressed my hand to his cheek. "My grandmother is the Seelie Queen."
"Yes." He blinked in confusion.
"She's the queen who gave you this scar, isn't she?" I whispered.
"Yes," his voice lowered as well.
"I can't believe I didn't realize it sooner," I groaned.
"It doesn't matter." Tiernan shrugged.
"How does it not matter?" I gaped at him. "My grandmother hurt you. She tried to kill you."
"And your father gave me a new life." He smiled gently. "Neither action has anything to do with you."
"I kind of hate her now," I mused as I began to trace the scar again. "Even though I like the scar."
"Seren." Tiernan caught my hand. "I was scared. I've never felt anything like that, not even when I was cast out of Seelie."
"Me too," I teased. "I saw a nuckelavee."
"You know what I'm trying to say." He rolled his eyes in exasperation.
"Yeah. I dig you too, Legolas." I grinned.
"Really, Twilight Princess?" He narrowed his eyes at me. "You wanna go there?"
"I'll go anywhere as long as you come with me," I purred and was rewarded with another toe-curling kiss.
