Hello, this is the author! This chapter is basically a synopsis of what you need to know before reading in terms of uploads, the type of novel, and such things. I wrote It as an auxiliary chapter because I wanted to dedicate the synopsis to preliminary world-building.
I am a new author, but I am no stranger to world-building, web novels, and writing. Because I am a new author, I have not yet met any challenges that come with the title. Because of this, I may change my style in the future if I find that something becomes too taxing to sustain.
That being said, I consider myself a realist that tends to take everything more seriously than I need to. This means that the work I produce will be of a quality that is as high as possible, and in doing so, I may rewrite chapters if I see that something is too cliche, grammatically incorrect, or illogical.
As for an upload schedule, I do not have one at the moment; however, I have no other hobbies or activities on most days, and so, I will probably upload once every other day or sooner to ensure quality.
If you want to critique something, then I ask that you do so as much as possible so that I may consider a revision in the future.
I have been a long-time fan of web novels, webtoons, light novels, and other such things that involve a large amount of world-building and storytelling.  Because of this, I have seen a large amount of poorly written, constructed, or executed worlds and stories. Unfortunately, this especially applies to isekai themed novels, which this novel is a variation of. Because of all of this, I plan to make mine different.
This concludes the forward.

I ran through a rough patch in this book's development earlier and was ready to abandon it, but I've decided to come back and salvage what parts of it I can, and I am in the process of rewriting the rest.

This story is a fantasy story with a bit of an unexpected element. It is about the actions of an unknown being who has given every human a choice: return to Earth or be granted an ambiguous amount of power. Our protagonist chose the later, and he is transformed into an unknown life form. Reputable divine being always keep their promises, though, and this case was no exception. As she explained soon after, he has been transformed into a bug capable of many things, including both shapeshifting and magic. Not long after, he resolved himself to not only become stronger so that he could live out his fantasies in this world of unlimited possibilities, but to also discover humanity's fate regardless of the cost. Little does he know, though, that he had another purpose to serve, regardless of whether he wished it or not.

Hello everyone, here's another story.

I started writing this story because of a moment of inspiration I had. I was reading a Xianxia novel with a male character who was considered to be a genius for saying things that should be obvious to most people and it reminded me of so many other novels that have a very similar plot. In summary, I am disgusted with these novels, so I decided to create this "original story" as a criticism against Xianxia novels like that. I'm going to give you the complete synopsis here because it exceeded the character limit allowed on this platform.

One day, during a snowstorm that was so intense it even caused damage to some of the stone structures, a handsome, cold, and wounded man collapsed in this young wife's yard. She had a kind heart and lacked knowledge related to human contact because she had always been mocked and avoided by other married women. Yet, she had always accepted it in silence, never telling her husband. So, she decided to help this stranger until the week-long snow storm finally came to an end.

Due to this twist of fate, the stranger fell in love with the young wife. However, she remained faithful to her husband and bid the unknown stranger farewell, leaving him no choice but to accept the disappointment and mourn his fate. In the future, this stranger became the hero's biggest opposition. They had faced off against each other many times, and the villain was always stronger, but he always let the hero live because of his feelings towards the young wife who was awaiting his return to that desolate mansion.

For the villain, it was a once in a lifetime love. Even though he was handsome, cold, strong, and held a high status, he was not interested in other women. Over time, these women, who desperately wanted to gain his favor, found out about the young woman who had stolen the heart of this cold man.

These young women were unable to obtain the villain's love, so they began persecuting the young wife, who was already facing many problems because of the hero. Her husband had made many enemies during his travels, and these enemies had turned their eyes towards his wife. If not for her family helping her out behind the scenes, this lamentable female lead would not have been strong enough to face these crazy women. Not only that, she would have died at the hands of her husband's enemies.

Where was the hero during all this? He was spending his time happily with his childhood friend, junior sisters, or even ambiguously with female instructors from other areas.

Since her husband only returned every few years, Sheng Shuyi was left to deal with the aftermath of the problems he had caused on her own.

Skipping ahead to the end of the novel, Shen Shuyi had sacrificed herself to save the hero from an envious god. She began a journey to find her beloved husband, who had disappeared and was presumed dead! She suffered on her own as she traveled, becoming stronger and even more gorgeous. But, all of that for what? To die in the end!

And what was the hero doing at the moment his wife sacrificed herself? He was busy with his subordinates and had his arm wrapped around his childhood friend's waist!

However, as her body was falling to the ground, the villain appeared and caught her, holding her in his arms as he cried like a lost child, watching as the soul of his beloved dissipated. At this moment, the hero only frowned and glared at his wife, forgetting how she had just sacrificed herself to save his life! His only thought was that she must have cheated on him!

In the end, the villain joined hands with the hero to kill the envious god. Afterwards, the hero ignored his wife's remains and tried to loot her body to reclaim his possessions! However, the villain unashamedly kicked the hero aside and took her body away with him.

The hero, who was now a widower, didn't waste any time in mourning. He married his childhood friend and accepted three high-class concubines! In addition, he went after the Sheng family, even going as far as to use his sacred beast to kill the Sheng family's sacred phoenix. All of this, to avenge his "honor"!

The villain placed his beloved's body in a thousand-year-old ice coffin to preserve it and placed a sacred jewel on it that had the power to call a dissipated soul back to its body!

However, the hero of the novel needed this gem to reach the peak of his cultivation, so the villain and the hero began their final battle. Unfortunately, one of the hero's attacks landed on the coffin, catapulting the body of Sheng Shuyi out. The villain became distracted and moved to catch the body, but the hero used this opportunity to fiercely attack the villain, killing him in the process.

Yet, even in death he still had a smile on his face as he hugged the body of his beloved and slowly slipped into death. The poor villain, his soul also dissipated!

Cheng Shuyi had stopped reading the novel at that moment. She had felt so very wronged by what had happened to the Shuyi in that novel!

The figure seemed happy for Xu Chen. Although Xu Chen himself would have preferred most of the other options, he knew quite a bit about LOTR, so he considered it a win.
"Uh... by the way, do you have a name? And please call me Xu Chen."
The figure stared at Xu Chen from underneath the dark robes that hid his body as he suddenly laughed.

The Merchant's reply made Xu Chen uncomfortable as he realized this guy didn't seem to care very much about him. However, that's to be expected of a strange man covered in dark robes who came from the void beyond the counter.
"So before you said I could buy anything from the dimension that got selected, does that mean I can now purchase anything from Lord of the Rings?"
Xu Chen asked the Merchant, hoping to get a more clear explanation on how this all worked.
"Indeed, Stranger, you can now buy anything from Lord of the Rings. Weapons, accessories, armor, characters, and anything else you can think of provided you have the credits. To get more credits, you can sell anything to me for a corresponding number of credits depending on the value, rarity, history, and power of what you're trying to sell."
The Merchant chuckled as he replied and explained some more details to Xu Chen.
"There are also things that have prerequisites like the Ring Wraiths. To buy them, you need the One Ring and the corresponding Ring worn by the Ring Wraith you want to buy in order to complete the purchase. Although right now, you don't need to worry about that since you only possess 50 credits, barely enough to buy anything."
Xu Chen was about to ask if he could see everything available to him but stopped himself as a translucent screen appeared before the counter displaying what he could buy.
However, instead of looking through the list, Xu Chen decided to ask the Merchant a question that had been lingering on his mind throughout this whole ordeal.
"Merchant, do you know how I ended up here? And where I even am?"
"Unfortunately, Stranger, I don't know how you ended here, but I can give you an answer as to where you are. Although it will cost you 15 credits, so whaddaya say?"
Xu Chen pondered for a moment before looking through the list of things he could currently buy. After browsing for a few minutes, Xu Chen decided to only buy the knowledge on his whereabouts that the Merchant offered at 15 credits.
As soon as Xu Chen confirmed the purchase, three white spheres emerged from him and flew into the Merchant's robe.
"Heheheh... Thank you for your business, Stranger. Now let me explain your surroundings. First, I'll begin by the area where you currently are when you leave the Store, which is called a Mystery Zone, this one specifically being the Eternal Green Sea."
The Merchant stopped for a moment as he sat down on a strange chair made of darkness.
"The Eternal Green Sea itself is within the Qin Dynasty's southern territory, and far north lies the Qin Dynasty's rival, the Zhin Dynasty. Down south lies the Yukon Islands, which are controlled by the Saint Fu Sect. In the west, the Qin Dynasty borders the mighty Baohua Empire that contains many Sects and Ancient Clans. Of course, the Empress hails from the Baohua Clan that has reigned for over ten thousand years. And finally, in the northeast, you can find the Taiji Mountain Sect that specializes heavily in Earth Element techniques."
Xu Chen was in inner turmoil as the Merchant finished telling him of the surroundings.
'Sects? Dynasties? This can't be! Did I really end up in another world somehow? And to make things worse, it could possibly be a cultivation world! If it is, I can only hope they're not as insane as the novels I used to read made them out to be!'
Still internally panicking, Xu Chen asked the Merchant to confirm what he suspected, a tinge of dread unknowingly seeping into his voice.
"Merchant... c-could this possibly be a cultivation w-world?!"
The Merchant seemed to disregard Xu Chen's dread-filled tone as he nodded his head and replied.
"Yes, the people of this world practice cultivation and seek the truths of the Heavenly Dao and the Path to Immortality."
As soon as the Merchant confirmed his suspicion, Xu Chen tried his best to remain calm and began pacing as he fell deep into thought.
'Okay, okay! Focus Chen! My priority right now should be to get a set of Mithril Chainmail. I don't believe weaker cultivators will be able to easily kill me while wearing such a thing; after all, it protected Frodo from the full force of a Cave Troll, and I don't believe early cultivators should be able to exert anywhere near that amount of force. But what if the treasure syndrome of cultivators starts acting up after they see it? Then I'd be chased down like a dog, wouldn't I?'
Xu Chen snapped out of his thoughts and now felt much calmer. He decided to take the risk and aim for the Mithril Chainmail first, but looking at the price, he felt his renewed enthusiasm dim a little.

Sprawled out on the green grass and passed out was a white youth dressed in black sleeveless shirt and shorts. A cool wind ruffled his clothes while the sun cast a warm glow on his snow white hair. Ever so slowly, the youth opened his eyes, the bright red a stark contrast to his black clothes and white hair. 

Miu Furinji was confused about many things. How did this young man get here into Ryozanpaku and when did he get in? Why was there a suitcase filled with money next to him? What did the note attached to it mean when it said "Take care of him"? Everything about the situation was baffling, but in the end she decided to just kneel here and wait for this stranger to wake up which it seemed he was finally doing.

Miu watched with immense curiousity as the young man pushed himself into a sitting position, his almost glowing red eyes, the clearest and brightest red Miu had ever seen, filled with a look of confusion. He blinked a couple of times as he looked around, giving Miu the impression that maybe even he didn't know where he was. He seemed to have no clue as to what was happening to him, looking around before shifting his gaze onto her.

"Um, hello," Miu said politely. "Are you okay? Do you need any help?"

The teenager blinked a few times before responding. "Who are you? Where am I?"


Miu smiled as she sat down on the grass in front of the stranger. "My name is Miu Furinji and your currently on the lawn of the place called Ryozanpaku, home of various martial arts masters. Can I ask what your name is?"

The youth seemed to ponder this question longer then he should've. The next thing that happened however was completely unexpected as the stranger suddenly clutched his head in agony, as if just trying to recall something as simple as a name was too painful. He didn't scream, but Miu could see just how much pain he was in through his obvious expression. 

"Whats wrong, are you okay?" Miu asked, reaching out a hand, wanting to help. "Are you injured? Wounded? I can't help you if you don't tell me."

The young man didn't say anything at first, he judt slowly calmed down, eventually removing his hands from his head. His red eyes focusing on Miu's blue ones once again. "I don't remember my name. I cant even remember anything, at least anything important. When I just tried to recall anything, I got a sharp pain in my head."

Miu thought over what the stranger had said before standing up. "I'll be right back, don't go anywhere okay?" She gave him a small smile before turning around and running away.

Heading to the long building to the east side of Ryozanpaku that was known as the dojo, Miu went inside to see how her grandfather and the other masters would handle the news.

"I still don't understand why someone would even bother leaving him here of all places." Kensei Ma said as he looked down at the suitcase in the middle of the table. "We don't even know who he is and if he might be dangerous or not. Are we really considering taking him in. Based on some note?"

"Of course not," Hayato Furinji, stroking his long beard. "We're doing it because of the 500,000,000 yen thats inside the suitcase. If it simply means looking after a single brat then we as masters would be fools not to accept it. Money is money after all and we certainly need it."

Miu, having heard what was being discussed, slid open the door to the dojo. "I agree, we should accept what the note says." She walked in and after closing the door behind her. "He lost his memory!! Theres no way we can just throw him back out onto the street."

"Oh, Miu, your back," Hayato said with a grin, still stroking his beard. "However since you claim that the boy has no memories, I can only assume that you weren't able to garner any information from the him. How regrettable.....but it works for us. All we gotta do is feed him, clothe him, and enroll him in the school Miu will be going to next month and problem solved. We keep the money for ourselves."

There was a chorus of clapping that followed the decision in which Shio Sakaki and Akisame Koetsugi clapped their hands together in applause. Akisame looked like he wanted to add something but kept his mouth shut instead, simply clapping along with Sakaki.

After a few seconds however, it got real quiet for a moment Sakaki took notice of something while picking up a beer bottle. "Hey, has anyone seen Apachai around? I thought we were all in the room together a few moments ago?"

Everyone looked at each other, no one uttering a sound as they processed that Apachai wasn't with them. Of course, once it finally clicked, there was a huge hustle out of the dojo as they rushed to go and look for the stranger. Apachai tended to get excited around strangers and would begin to accidently break things in his excitement. There was even a chance that he could scare off the stranger with his intimidating physique that normally frightened people off.

However, their fears turned out to be unfounded as Apachai seemed to be practicing while the youth looked on from a distance. He hadn't moved from where Miu had told him to, but from where he was sitting, he could clearly see the training posts that Apachai was currently practicing on.

Letting out a small breath, Miu walked over to the stranger and sat down beside him. "So, we've decided to take you in. Isn't that great?!"

The young male looked ay Miu for a few moments before giving her a small smile. "Sure, I guess its okay. I don't necessarily understand everything thats happening to me right now so I guess thats the best option."

"However, I'm still unsure about what to call you," Miu said. "We should call you something otherwise it'll get confusing. Anything you'd like to be called?"


The young man seemed to think about it for a second but ended uo shaking his head. "I can't think of anything good. How about you come up with a name for me?"

"You want me to?" Miu asked, a bit in shock. She composed herself quickly however and smiled. "I do have a great name that I once read in a book. How about Jack Evergreen? Sounds neat right?"

A bright morning that slowly lightens this world, the eyes of a young person slowly opened after the shine of the bright sun hits his slumbering face. 
His eyes sparkled as the light reflects upon his wake but nobody would expect that his eyes would suddenly frown…
The light of the sun is too bright…
"What a drag… I just want to sleep but everything just hinders my plans."
This youngster with a grumpy face with his hair full of cowlicks looks at the window like he is facing his nemesis. 
"…re you listening?! Hey are you listening, Leo?!"
Leo woke up in his stupor after hearing the shout that is worse than hearing someone scratching the blackboard.
He stood up immediately but he didn't expect that a flying projectile is coming in his way. 
At that very second, time seemed like it stopped for a second. He frowned and his mind was actually calculating at high speed on what to do. 
His gaze pinpointed the point of distance between his predicted position and the projectile that is currently flying at him in high-speed.
He found out that it will never hit him if he quickly moved his head to the side. 
Alas, the heavens were too unfair and jealous of his genius. The time that seemed like it stopped suddenly moved to its normal speed once again.
The flying projectile that was blurred due to extreme speed reached his face with extreme momentum from the distance of the teacher's table to the chair at the back near the window.
He can't do anything but endure the overwhelming force that hit him…
He merely sigh inside that his cultivation is just too low and this mistake can't be blamed to his genius.
His face is smashed by a rectangular object but what his genius didn't expect that this item is actually a weapon with hidden effect. The rectangular object activated at impact and white smoke that suffocated him came out.
He fell to the ground ungracefully and his head is muddled after that great amount of force that hit his head.
After several seconds, he regained his clarity and heard everyone laughing around him. He looked around and saw his classmates gloating at his misfortune.
However, he didn't bother to care for a pair of eyes that seems like it wants to chop him in million pieces is currently glaring at him like there is no tomorrow.
He narrowed his eyes because he didn't expect that such a powerful blood lust and hatred is currently pinpointed in his current location. No… To be exactly, that pair of sharp eyes is looking at him like he was a fish waiting to be slaughtered.
What did he do to achieve this enmity; he could only shake his head inside because he didn't know too.
"LEO!!!"
Ding long dang long….
The school bell that seemed like it was broken but still not repaired until now reverberated in the whole school grounds.
The girl that shouted his name wanted to speak more but her mouth only opened and closed immediately. She took her bag, glared once more at him, and immediately went out of the room.
Leo felt his legs weakened after the constant vicious glare from that seemingly primordial beast. His whole body slumped at the table like it lost its soul. 
"What a frightening moment, I didn't expect that an event like that would be coming just in my wake. Too scary!"
Leo could only murmur while his face seems like it wanted to cry but no tears is coming out.
This day is actually the last school day of this semester. Tomorrow, the long vacation is about to start and the girl that keeps glaring at him is actually his best friend… Well his ex-best friend since he never talk at her anymore. 
The reason that girl keeps glaring at him is because he actually slept the whole day without planning with everyone about their vacation. However, the main reason is that this boy actually ignores her the whole time and just sleeps in his table without care for her.
Everyone will be having their own fun in this vacation. Some will be going to the beach, some will sleep overnights with their friends, some will go hiking at the mountain, and some will go to good places where they can play around. 
However, this lonely and pitiful youngster at the back of the room is actually not participating at their discussion. 
Many of them actually know the reason on why he is just sleeping while everyone is having fun discussing with each other.
They could only sneer in disdain because this guy is just an otaku who spends his time reading fantasy novels and playing games.
They actually don't care that much if someone have the hobby of reading novels or playing games to kill time but this pitiful guy is so passionate to his hobby that he use most of his time just to do this stuffs, even his sleep time!
He comes to the school with reddened and droopy eyes. It is obvious that he still hadn't slept at all. He sleeps at the classroom without care and sometimes his snores will distract the students listening to their teacher.
His grades at the lowest and his conduct are at the grade where his classmates don't even know how low it is. Who deserved the gloating and sneers of this students except him?
Well, the person that they kept laughing at didn't care at all. He knows his problem the most and he doesn't have the time to bother resolving these things because he has more important things to spend it to.
"I need to spend my time efficiently, let's start reading the latest chapter!"
He immediately turned on his mobile phone filled with countless novels that is pirated in the internet. The moment he pressed the turn-on button, the mobile phone shined with great white light that devoured his entire vision.

Leo woke up in a place of darkness and his body cannot move at all even if he mustered his willpower. He tried to awaken his inner superpowers to unleash his hidden super willpower to do anything but alas he can't move even an inch of his finger.
After panicking for several minutes, he eventually succumbed to despair. He thought of it carefully and he guessed that this is the legendary "comatose" or vegetable state. This is the result of his countless sleepless nights that he used for reading novels until his eyes bleed and playing games until his fingers is full of calluses. 
He could only helplessly sigh and look at the eternal darkness. While looking at the nothingness, fragments of memories inside his head appeared out of nowhere. 
He remembered the days of happiness while playing games and being all excited about the novels. No, even before those days, he was grinning happily with that girl while walking home from school. He even remembered his cute little sister that was always jumping around him happily every time he went home before that day…
That day where he lost everything because of him being too unfortunate that it almost seems like he betrayed his country in his past life…
His eyes became moist because of the sad memories that suddenly came to him. He tried to forget these things but in this helpless moment, every memory came back to him like a tsunami.

That day, his parents suddenly disappeared after going in a vacation abroad. Leo knew that his parents always text every day if they are fine but after some few days, the incoming text that he was supposed to receive that morning never came.
His relatives contacted the professionals but alas they also have no traces of where the two couple was last seen. It's like their existence disappeared just after they flew away from his country.
The airlines told them that it is indeed processed that the two couple safely arrived in their destination but it's unclear where they got to after that. That was the last trace that they ever found after many months of investigation.
Her sister that is in junior high school that was always happily jumping around him always like an excited puppy suddenly lost her happiness. She is always in her room and the only moment that Leo sees her sister is in rare times when she goes to take a bath once in a while.
When she sees her sister's face, it was cold and gloomy. She seemed like a stranger because that face was always bursting with smiles every time he sees her. It seems like she still cannot accept that their parents are no longer in this world after this months of investigation.
Leo himself is gloomy at that time because he did not know what to do at all. Currently, his good uncle which is very close to his father in the past helped them in these times of crisis and is supporting the expenses that his and her sister needs. However, he surely does not want to rely to someone that he is not very close to and he does not know when this support will stop.
That day he wanted the encouragement of his best friend to strengthen his will to survive the predicament of his family. This also made him resolve himself to confess his deep feelings to this girl that he spends his time the most.
However, the only thing he received is the cold gaze of this girl while cleanly rejecting him. She also avoided him at that time like they were strangers that never knew each other.
He did not expect that the person he thought that will never leave him will treat him like a stranger. He could accept that he will be rejected because he could try and try again just to achieve the favor of this girl. The thing that he couldn't accept is how she treated him like air when he needed her the most.
His broken heart that was cracking due to losing his parents and losing his little sister's happiness, shattered like a fragile glass dropped in the ground. He didn't expect that no one will share the burden with him. He could only roll and cry in the bed.
His originally gloomy emotions turned into sorrow that he felt like cutting his own wrist to end it all but he don't want to leave his sister to be alone in sorrow. 
At that moment he found out that fantasy novels and games are the only way to escape from this sorrowful world. 
He drowned himself in this hobby to forget all the sorrowful things and it actually worked. His depression slowly went away and he got more courage to live on now. However, he could only live through drowning himself in this way. 
He went all out trying to find the most self-satisfying novels that he could find...
He became the hero in his overflowing imagination…
He grinded for experience points and treasures that wasted his countless nights just to be the most powerful player…
This hobby in turn made him more distant to many people. However, he didn't regret it. At least he didn't take the knife to kill himself even though this life is just too unfair for him. He knew that somewhere out there, there is someone living a worse life than him.
He goes to school for the sake of attendance, he didn't care for the low grades or the worst conduct because he only needed to take the summer class to solve the problem. The school is not too strict about the recognition system; if you can pass your grades above 75% then you can go up your grade. 
Leo is actually very intelligent as a student. Prior to his depressing days, he is one of the top achievers in the class. However, after losing everything he cannot find joy on studying. His inspiration which is his best friend disappeared in his heart. He had no motivation at all to do his best in studying.
He did use his mental capacity to be good at playing difficult games and analyzing novels that are difficult to understand with mediocre intelligence. So he thought he is not wasting his genius at all.
If you ask him if he have something to regret in this life is that he was too weak to do anything to resolve his problems. He wanted to be like those powerful protagonists that have their own power to do the things they want. They will slap heavenly beauties like nothing when they don't need them, they will trash the heaven if they experience misfortune.

While Leo is reminiscing about his life, the space seems like it is shaking from the intense emotion and determination coming out of Leo like shockwaves. At this time, he didn't notice these things because he is too dazed in his own business. If he noticed this happening then he would surely imagine that he released his limits as a mortal and awakened his inner power.
The shaking stopped and Leo awakened from his deep emotional reminiscence. He looked around and nothing changed at all. He is about to sigh again but suddenly something popped out in front of him that almost scared him to death. 
[ Do you want to tread the path of achieving the Dao? ] 
                     [ YES ] [ NO ]
Leo tried to calm his emotions and he was successful. This thing just pops out of nowhere, truly annoying and disrespectful. 
He read the floating bar of light in front of him. It is like he is reading English but it is not at the same time. It made him confused but he is more focused on what the thing is talking about.
"Path of achieving the Dao? Is that a joke? Do you even know what 'Dao' means? Well neither do I because its meaning is too vague even in the novels that I read."
Leo didn't know what is happening and felt very confused if he should choose yes or no. However deep inside him, he felt like choosing yes because the word Dao is commonly used in martial arts novel. It is very mysterious and interesting and he felt that there is nothing wrong choosing yes.
The sentence suddenly disappeared and was replaced by another question…

                         [ YES ] [ NO ]
Wow, Leo didn't even know what to say right now. The first question was pretty vague already but this one made him even more speechless. Although he is receiving a special gift, he didn't even know what it is. This made him angry and thought of choosing no.
The sentence suddenly disappeared and was replaced by an even more bizarre question…

He immediately felt like this words that kept appearing in front of him is trolling him at its finest. Is he currently in purgatory where he is punished for trolling so much in games? He immediately thought of choosing no again because this gift is just too skeptical. It might be a troll item to make him suffer.

He immediately thought of pressing no because this is just getting too ridiculous.

He stopped for a while and considered, if his thoughts are right, this thing will troll him to eternity. However, he is curious on how special the gift will become if he keeps pressing no. Well, he doesn't care at all if he received nothing since he didn't even know what to receive. He just wanted to get out of this abyss. He choose no.

                         [ YES ] [ NO ]
No.

Leo noticed that there are actually no glitched words anymore in the question. It's a bit surprising but nothing more. It just made the question pleasant to the eye but it's still vague than ever.
[ Do you want to receive the mythical gift ]

Mythical my ass… Not even close to my goal.

After receiving several of these choices, Leo felt a bit numbed but was still a bit surprised when he received this question. He did predict that a 'God' type gift will appear but he never really thought that it will actually happen.
He still pressed no though for the sake of fun…

Leo wanted to laugh so hard when he saw this question. This is really forcing the gift to the receiver. He kept pressing no but the reward is getting better and better when he presses no. This is just like how the devil tempt mortals; he slowly put out the cheap things and then show up the best things later so that they will salivate and greedily get the best stuff without care for his soul.
Of course he choose no.

Leo's eyes almost popped out when he saw the bar didn't say anything at all. The system finally bugged out. He thought it will disappear without him getting anything at all but it seems like it's still trying hard to tempt him. 
He is willing to concede now because he is tired and just want to go sleep. This eternal darkness, his memories, and now these questions, it really makes one exhausted.
However, his brain told him to press yes to end it all but his heart is shouting for no.
The question finally disappeared…
Everything is dark like before, he cannot see anything and he cannot move. He tried to sleep but he remembered that he cannot close his eyes. Well, it is like sleeping anyway when you are looking at nothing but darkness. 
Time passed like it went for eternity…
Yes, this is just Leo exaggerating the time. It only passed for one minute and he is too bored watching nothing and doing nothing.
Suddenly, a bright light suddenly appeared in front of him. He didn't even give a damn because it already happened once. However, his eyes were shocked when he read the words in the bar made from light.
[ Do you want to receive all gifts? ]
[ YES ] [ NO ]
Of course, he immediately pressed yes. Who is the idiot who would press no after thinking about receiving all those surprise gifts?

That was the day Leo sold his soul to the devil for the "gifts" that he didn't even know.
