Obviously a work in progress, and my first non-completely-a-joke story. And I owe the idea to sharing kinks in a group chat.

Help came from the most unlikely of sources. I was taking a literature subject in my 1st year in which we were studying the elements of story: setting, conflict, climax, and resolution.


     The odd thought occurred to me while I was studying that we didn't know where the elements of story come from. I mean, we might have a guy's name who thought of them, but we don't know why they exist. I started wondering why the heart and mind responded to this specific formula when it came to telling stories. So I broke it down. Setting: That was easy; every story has a setting. My setting is Philippines, on earth. I understand setting because I experience setting. I am sitting in a room, in a house, I have other characters living in this house with me, that sort of thing. The reason my heart understood setting was because I experienced setting. 



     But then there was conflict. Every good story has conflict in it. Some conflict is internal, some is external, but if you want to write a novel that sells, I guess you need to have a conflict. We understand conflict because we experience conflict, but where does conflict come from? Why do we experience conflict in our lives? This helped me a great deal in accepting the idea of a sin and the birth of conflict. The rebellion as an adult explained why humans experienced conflict in their lives, and nobody knows of any explanation other than this. Conflict is a thing that we don't want to experience, yet we were forced to experience it. Maybe faith wants us to experience it so we did. In a story conflict starts how the plot go well, but in reality this is somehow we wanted to avoid with.



     The heart responds to conflict within story, I began to think, because there is some great conflict in the universe with which we are interacting, even if it is only in the subconscious. If we were not experiencing some sort of conflict in our  lives, our hearts would have no response to conflicts in books or film. The idea of conflict, of having tension, suspense, or an enemy, would make no sense to us. But these things do make sense. We understand these elements because we experience them, As much as I did not want to admit it, our own encounter and experience explained why.




     And then the element of story known as climax. Every good story has a climax, but to me this was the starting point of scarifying part. If human heart uses the tools of reality to create elements of story, and the human heart responds to climax in the structure of story, this means that climax, or point of decision, could very well be something that exists in the universe. What I mean is that there is a decision the human heart needs to make and this also connects the the thread of conflict.




     Lastly the resolution. If someone will have to put it, maybe they will prefer the better resolution, or maybe the opposite one, but in our journey, as human, we can't able to know our resolution nut others can and that's the worst part. I know some of you can already understand this well, as silly as it sounds but we will have our own resolution, as if it was like a children's story. It wasn't cute or neat. It was mystical and odd and clean, and it was reaching into dirty. There was wonder in it and enchantment.



     "Perhaps, I thought, being adult really was the difference between illusion and magic."



People has started clapping beforehand. I was assigned as the representative of the impromptu story telling in our class. After the presentation I went back to my seat where my group seats. 



"That was "wow" Haru." Ron with the sparkling face.


"I was about to cut my breath while standing in front but I saw your face looking at me while opening your mouth. It made me think I just need to tell them a story where the story is in the story. By the way thanks." Replying him while holding my laugh.


"A story where the story is in the story. Man that was cool!" Shin with also a sparkling face.


"Dude, you should shave your mustache, I can barely see it 3 meters apart." Replying to Shin while holding my laugh because the class was still going.


"Dude, I just gave you a complement and that's what you will pay to me? give me back my words of praise! Wait... you think so? my mustache? man it feels like I've been bad-mouthed by someone" Shin with a disappointing face.


"I am bad mouthing you." Again, holding my laugh to avoid class interruption.

After the whole presentation, in the end we get the second highest score. The girl that was on my group, Claire, who's good at math seems to have an interest in interacting with the three of us, but Ron and Shin hesitated to approach her since she's too quite so I've been pushed to throw some questions by my self.


"What did you think of the lecture?" I once asked here.


"I thought it was okay."


"Just okay?" I asked.


"Yeah, I mean, this is supposed to be a minor subject but it feels like it was a major. I hope they don't put the cookies on a lower shelf all year." 


"Cookies?" I asked. I thought she had cookies.


"Yeah, what do you mean?" She replied.


"No, it's nothing" 


"Hmmm? You thought of something other "cookies" aren't you?" She smirked.


"Man I thought i could escape the situation." I said it while laughing in shame.


"Class is almost done hold it while you still can." She smiled.


"No, I mean, how do I put it, it's not that I'm hung—" I stopped when Claire stared at me.


"W-what?"


"Nope, it's nothing i never thought you were a funny one." She smiled again.


"Huh?"


"Don't worry I get it." She turn around and listen to our professor again.


"If you say you already get it then I guess there's no need for me to explain then." 


     That was only the long talk I had with Claire, I suppose it would. 


    After that, we finally take our leave after doing our assignment in the classroom cleaning. Later on while Ron, Shin and me was about to leave, Claire said something before she goes home.


"Haru."


"Yes?" I was surprised while she called me.


"If you want cookies... I might bring some for you tomorrow." She smiled while walking away.

We know nothing at all when it comes to love and romance, being a fine adult maybe a jumble for us, but I know someday things will reflect in the future.

[About the story]

This was inspired by the childish first story concept I developed a decade ago. 
Even though I kept the MC, some characters, and basic setting the same, the story was changed and I am in the process of developing it (somewhat a spin-off of the first story mentioned above). I am using this story as an experiment and I will use interactive mode in moving the story further and improve my writing skills.
I am currently hoping to make 3 chap a week (But each chapters takes consumes so much time as I am slow). It will be unfair to compare the release speed of a translator to these original works. 
Also, depending on the support and love of this story gets, the release speed will be increased after 2-3 months when my commitments reduce and I get a breather. 

I have a big dream story in the making and I want to use this story to gain experience and reader base foundation before attempting that multiverse story. 

[Basics about the story]

The story follows the light and dark faction background and discusses their 'affairs' from various perspectives. Mainly from someone who is in the dark faction. So most of the story is related to dark faction. I am not comfortable with this but romance is one of the core themes of the story (affairs).
The first arc may appear little slow and has some cringy stuff lol. It is just setting up the basics about the characters. It gets faster after the first 10 chapters which are the goal setting volume where the MC gets involved in a life-changing event.
So please please please read 10 chapters before deciding on this novel.

Setting: Post Nuclear War parallel Earth. Nefarion the Devil's planet. 
Mine is usually long chapters so please excuse the release rate (I know quantity rules over quality here. Maybe I should not worry too much and release more???).

Writing is not my hobby.
I enjoy thinking about different story scenarios but never was keen on writing them down. I know my own inability of expressing a story in any form. As a person with attention and focus trouble along with increasing addiction to laziness and lack of motivation prevents me from working on this long task of writing the story I made in sentences.
I don't get support from family and friends for doing this and I don't even want to let them know I am going to write because they are not in the same page as me (I am the odd one out of the bunch wasting time on reading and stories). 
Actually, webnovel inspired me to restart writing. So I started writing this novel as an experiment. Even though I hope for a huge response with showering praises from readers, I understand the reality that it takes time to know whether I am good or not. Its just the life sometimes does no allow you to have too much time.

2018 is actually quite a bad time for me. Nothing works out to my favor (It's my fault as well lol). Maybe not the best time to start writing as well.
I realized I am quite an emotional being who finds it hards to write when tensed. Also home is not the best location for creativity lol. (A free person writing is wasting time for nothing while a busy person writing is hard working)
A lot of time wasted.
Hopefully, I will get rid of these addictions and problems of mine and find stability soon before I can promise a certain writing rate and stable release.

Hello readers! It's me, Ate Janz, bringing you another fantasy story to read. So before proceeding to read the entire story, I want to emphasize about its plot, characters, world and time setting, spells and update schedule.
First of all, the plot of the story was taken from one plot suggestion given by Web Novel in its annual Spirity Awards where I also joined, under fantasy category... wherein it asked us to create a story with FL pretending to be a guy just to learn magic in a magic academy since boys are the only ones allowed to learn magic.
So instead of completely following that, I added the random plot that I was thinking for days now with a little help from my all-time fave animated show Avatar: The Last Airbender. Remember back in the Northern Water tribe where girls are only taught waterbending for healing only? That's one of my inspirations for this story.
And this is not connected to my first story The Witch Hunt. Although they have the same kingdom name, since I'm too lazy to think of any kingdom names, they are completely different stories. Not a sequel at all.
Second, the characters are taken from google except for the other one, which is Lancelott. His character design is inspired from a Mobile Legend Hero: Lancelott. Other names are either randomly came into my head or were searched through several name generators.
Third is the world and time setting. The world setting is in Gilead, an imaginary kingdom designed by the author with the help of my best friend google. The time setting is in the modern medieval period. However, I would like to inform you that I am not that knowledgeable of it, so forgive me if you'll see some unnecessary things in the chosen setting.. like a flying car perhaps.
Nah. Just kidding with the flying car thing, only to give you an example.
Fourth, I would like to talk about the spells used in this story. Most of the spells used here were from Disney's Wizard of Wavery Place and Harry Potter. But I may also add my own words and let google translate do its magic of translating those into Latin. :D
Lastly is the update schedule. Updates will be daily since this story is for the WPC 141: Royal Romance. I hope you could support me by giving me your power stones, feedbacks, and book reviews. 
And oh by the way, except for the ones mentioned above, I would like to emphasize that I am definitely not an expert in writing. First of all, Im sorry for staying silent for this long and I should probably have said at least something.

There were several reasons why I stopped writing, but there was mainly one reason. I just wasn't satisfied. And that is for two reasons.

The first reason is the way I was telling the story which I didnt quite like. Since it is pretty much the standard I told Alice story in chronological order starting from her early childhood, and there are a lot of backgroundstories and characters from her childhood that become important and make her into who she is. But the story I wanted to tell only really beginns when she is a few years older, so I was "forced" to write about things I didnt really want to write about and a rough estimate for the number of chapters that it would have taken is somewhere around 2-300. So.... yeah... You could say it felt like writing a prologue with world-record length. It wasnt easy to stay motivated. So I decided to change my approach and work with flashbacks again, starting the story from a later part of her life, although thats gonna make it a lot harder since I will have to make much ore precise plans on how and when to put in which flashback. I just hope it will turn out the way I want it to.

The second reason is that I always thought that something wasnt quite right and always felt off. But now I know, THE WORLD IS AT FAULT!!! XD 
No, Im not a cringy hikiNEET that cant accept reality. Those who know a little about writing stories may know this already, but I will explain for those who dont. Every story is made up of three main elements. Those are, the characters, the story, and the world, and depending on the type of story you write you start from a different of these elements.
Lets take a slice-of-life story for example, you start of with a bunch of interesting characters, put them all into the same world (a japanese high-school for example) and then let them interact to create a story.
On the other hand, if you want to write a mystery story, you start of with the story itself, and put the right characters into the right roles.
In the case of my story, I created the characters and story pretty much side by side and put much thought into each of them. But I never actualy thought much about what kind of world would be the most fitting and just went with the most standard medivial setting. But after thinking about where the problem lies, I realized that it is the world, or the setting, that doesnt quite fit in.
In the end I decided on a more steam-punk-esque setting.

Considering all this, it might actually seem like a completely different story at first, but please believe me, it isnt.

But to be honest, after thinking about this story non-stop for this long, trying to make everything work left me pretty exhausted and I really need to take my mind of this story for some time. And when I get back to it, I still need to deal with lots and lots of worldbuilding which I am going to do in form of a wiki to make sure I dont forget any details.

So, yeah, I want to be fully prepared before I start writing this story again and its probably going to be a long time until then. (A month or two maybe?)

And just like that, the young girls life continued, until two years later, fate struck and her story began, whether she wanted it or not.

Halo, I'm SinRa, you know who I am. 
Now I have an importance things to tell you guys about this story. And it will effected the continuation of the story. 
Appereantly my head give me some nice idea, I think, for the plot and world building. So the idea is I'm gonna change the plot that quite boring, I think, and the world building that honestly, I'm not very good at this.
But since the story is already walk at the main plot, and you guys already enjoy the story, I think. So I need you guys opinion. Should I change the plot. Of course the story is gonna start from chap 001 because the setting is gonna be in earth. 
Besides the plot and the setting, the conflict is gonna be the same. Slaying monster, but not like what already written, there will be more actions and fighting. Because trust me, the plot now is quite boring. Unleast you like a drama, romance, and slice of life thing. 

So this is a little peek for the plot :

"So earth appereantly got attacked by alien monster thing that come out from Bermuda Triangle. They have forms like humans. But dude, they are freaking strong. Even one of them can manage to fight US military and freaking win. 
I'm at my 15 age when disaster happen. I live in Indonesia, my country is not severely affected like a superpowered developed country. But when they are satisfied to ruffle the world, they made part of my country their headquarters. 
It is in in the middle of Papua Island. With their power, they build a city made by dirt, and there they spawn many monster. 
Well, short story, that city ruin now is a gold warehouse. Because every monster have their own price and we can make money with that. 
It made me think that the monster called Asura was the messenger of the earth to warn humans. And when they finished their task, they give us a a gold mine to restore our things. Well the gold is not actually a gold tho"

The charas and all sort of things that I have made in the written story won't gonna change and only the main plot and setting is changed. 

So that's how it is, I hope you can respond to this and give me some of your opinion if you are here with me. If you are not, I'll just gonna pretend you are ghost and definitely change the story.

Therefore he must work plus attend school at the same time.  
Where desperate almost overwhelm him, a man in black suit offering him a job application. The job is to defend a place on another dimension from an ancient creature called Asura. 
He quite do it well on his new job. But just when he almost done paid her father’s debt, someone killed her mother on specific purpose.
When he found out that the one who killed his mother was an ace at his work, he decided to stay forever on the another dimension, leaving earth to hunt down the killer. 
But just when he find the killer, the killer told him about the truth about the world, his motive, and make Ganang choose weither he become The Hero of the Place or Monster of The World.

Story Critique Form
1. Originality. On a scale of 1 to 10, how original was this story? A 1 means that the story is cliché while a 10 means that it has at least a couple of ideas that I haven't encountered before. 
2. Setting. On a scale of 1 to 10, how well was the setting developed? A 1 indicates that the setting was poorly developed. This means that is almost completely disappeared from the story, or that I felt confused as to where and when the tale took place in one or more scenes. Of course, the author should involve all of the senses in describing his or her setting. A 10 means that not only is the setting well-developed, but it informs every aspect of the story—from character development to tone and narrative style. In a story that rates a 10, the setting itself is a powerful draw for the story, and the author succeeded in transporting me into the tale. _
3. Characterization. On a scale of 1 to 10, how well-drawn are the characters in the story? Good characters should convince us that they grew up in the world or setting that we've placed them in. They should have complex motives and be imbued with conflicting attitudes about life, ethics, politics, and so on. The characters should have friends, enemies, acquaintances, secrets, desires and fears. The character should have a physical body, with a physical history. The character should have a family, of course, and some type of history, along with a place in society. In short, with a poorly drawn character, we know virtually nothing about him by the end of the story. With a well-drawn character, we feel as if we know him intimately by the end of the story. _
4. Conflict and Plot. On a scale of 1 to 10, how interesting are the conflicts? Since the characters, along with their motives and abilities really lead to a plot, then one must also consider the twists and turns of the plot. How inventive are they? How exciting? How engrossing? _
5. Emotional/intellectual payoff. On a scale of 1 to 10, how well did this story arouse powerful emotions? If it did arouse powerful emotions, were they the proper emotions for the intended audience (as gauged by the age and sex of the protagonists)? Remember that the author shouldn't be hitting the same emotional beats over and over again. 
6. Theme. On a scale of 1 to 10, how well did this story speak to the reader? Does it raise interesting questions about life and provide profound insights? A rating of "1" means that I don't really see either one. A rating of "10" means that the author astounded me. _

While Naruto stayed inside the smithy and talked with the men, the girls were getting ready for battle. All of them had similar and different reasons for battle but none wished to give up the fight.
It was not right as an Amazonian to give up after taking the challenge. It would lower their standing in Naruto's eyes.
They needed to win to stand beside him and win his heart. They needed to get revenge for the old transgressions.
Donna stood inside the battle arena feeling the pressure. It was already something that she decided to move on from her past and accept some guy with multiple women, but now she was about to fight for the right to stand by his side and win some points.
It was truly an unimaginable scene but Donna actually felt alive. This love she felt was much stronger than those virgin feelings of old.
The love Naruto gave to his lovers and the love ha gave to her last night was something she had never tasted. It was something she could never forget.
It wasn't just the child. She knew it was unfair. It was selfish of her to enter their lives but she wanted it. She wanted a happy end and she believed Naruto could give her that dream.
Looking at her foe, Donna didn't feel any nervousness anymore as her mind was completely stable. She intended to win.
She was not scared of Diana. She was not the Donna of old. She had changed and evolved over the year. She had learnt that there things that none of them were actually aware of. She had power inside her body that went unnoticed until Raven checked her body.
She had the power of titans inside her body and once activated her power had risen, giving her new abilities.
Her power was growing with time and now she was equal to her sister.

Rhea had sacrificed herself to atone for her misdeeds which led to a planetary war by sending her own energy out in to the universe to collect children who were near death as suitable successors to the Titans. The Titans bequeathed the seeds most of their powers and taught them how to master their new abilities in a responsible manner. When they reached adolescence, the Seeds were stripped of their memories and sent back to their home planets to develop in their respective environment, but they would be eventually summoned back to New Cronus in the future to claim their heritage and restore the legacy of the Titans.

Donna wore her silver armor that covered her whole body with daggers in both hands as she had adopted the speed combat style mixed with magic instead of fighting with a sword and shield like her sister.
Diana was also using her golden armor for this battle, meaning she was serious about this battle and they could see that their mother also wore her golden armor.
Donna could see Naruto sitting with the girls by his side watching them intently. He was always like that when some good battles were about to take place.
"Sister, don't underestimate me. That is my advice to you before we start." Donna warned Diana as she stood few meters from her as the battle was about to start.
"We haven't sparred for a year now so I am looking forward to what you learnt. I know why you are doing this and I would love to help you, but I won't go easy on you." Diana replied with a smile as she held her blade and shield.
The wind blew like normal and the dust rose from the ground while the two fighters stood.
"I expect nothing less."
"Okay enough chitchat girls, you can start the fight now and talk later." Naruto said as he stood up and flew to a pillar, standing alone. He wanted to focus and keep everything under control.
Raven was also ready for the battle as it might need her assistance to keep it under control.
"Don't you have longer talks before battles? What hypocrisy is this?" Diana sent a rebuttal.
"Quite wrong, I talk while we fight. You have quite the bad memory there my friend. Now I would love to have a long talk with you but, for now just enjoy the battle." Naruto shook his head with a grin and talked in a teasing tone as he asked for her to start.
"I am coming" Donna started the battle with a dash towards Diana and just before she arrived at the last step, lasers hit Diana from the back disturbing her balance and giving Donna the opportunity.
She did a sliding tackle on Diana at the last moment causing her to almost fall from the impact on her right leg and followed it with a ice beam from the side that pushed away Diana as she was about to hit Donna with her shield.
Donna got back to her feet and dashed at Diana again. She could see that her sister's defence was very good with the armor and shield except for her back and sides from the magic attacks.
She could continue fooling with just those attacks but Diana wasn't so easy to beat and would start attacking soon.
Just like she expected, Diana intercepted her charge with a shield bash but Donna kicked with both legs at the moment of impact while causing the ground to freeze under Diana.
The action caused Diana to be sent flying back as she lost her footing. None of them was utilizing flight her since Amazonians couldn't really fly so in battles on this island, no flight was used.
Diana used her sword to stop the flight and spun her body while giving a kick at the approaching foe.
Donna blocked the kick with her arm and kicked Diana's arm used for the spin but before that she was forced to pull back as the shield came for her head.
Dragged by the dark tentacles, Donna landed a distance away from Diana. She was completely shocked by Donna's fighting style. She didn't even know about these magical powers.
'These powers are making the fight really hard. It matches a lot with Naruto's fighting style when he isn't using clones or Kurama.' Diana could tell Donna had adopted Naruto's style and she knew it was best to attack since defending was going to be taxing and very difficult.
Donna walked towards her sister and threw both daggers at her with full force, at the last moment they vanished while Diana intended to block them with her shield.
The daggers came from the back and caused Diana to spin to avoid the attack while Donna closed the distance between them and kicked from below.
Diana blocked the kick with sword while Donna pulled her leg back with darkness causing her balance to weaken and followed the kick with another kick to her head.
'Damn magic' Diana thought as the kick hit her head and she flowed with it to lower the force.
Donna followed with slashing with both her daggers that returned to her hands but Diana blocked them with her shield.
She followed with flipped and kicking the shield, pushing Diana back while throwing her daggers again and causing dark tentacles to catch her legs from both sides.
Pushing against the air with high speed, she crashed down on Diana with her legs again.
Diana expected the tentacles again and jumped to the side the moment she felt them while Donna crashed into the ground causing a massive explosion.
Diana got hit by the daggers as they broke part of her armor but she managed to move away and avoided the full attack while dashing towards her foe.
Her movement was smooth and without hesitation, she smashed into Donna with shield and sent her crashing into the coliseum wall.
Following that, Diana slashed with her blade and aimed for her sides.
Donna froze the ground underneath them and pushed against the wall to jump away from her attack zone.
Catching her daggers, she threw them again but increased the numbers and directions.
Donna caused the ice to cover Diana to slow down her movement and freeze her body while using the darkness to blind her sight.
Donna pushed against the air and went to the ground before pushing against the ground to launch herself at Diana.
Diana fought against the daggers and the cold but got hit by the tackle as both girls crashed into the wall. Donna quickly hit her sister's chin with her head and her hands with the daggers.
Her daggers were made by Hephaestus and using the power of darkness she could make them appear anywhere.
Diana kneed Donna and headbutted her with immense force that caused her to smashed into the ground before kicked her with the other leg that sent her flying.
She had dropped her weapons and decided they were being a hindrance in this battle.
Donna had improved a lot and magic was causing too many distractions that her low experience wasn't causing any trouble.
But after all that was done, Diana was proud of this achievement and having a lot of fun at the moment.
She dashed towards Donna who had righted herself in the air and crashed into her with both arms extended.
Donna didn't expect her sister to drop the weapons but reacted quickly when her arms came around her abdomen.
She kneed Diana and attacked with her daggers from above but Diana stopped the knee attack with her hand and punched her in the abdomen that sent her higher into the air.
Diana followed it up with kicking the air and kicking Donna but once again darkness caught her leg while dark spears drilled into her body from above and she realized that Donna had been preparing an attack.
Donna kicked her from above and sent her crashing while the dark spears rained down. They all locked onto her abdomen.
Donna followed the attack with slashing down onto her sister with her daggers and cutting her leg.
With that the battle ended as Diana decided to give in. She was impressed by Donna and even though she might have won if they fought for a longer period, it was enough.
Donna could have aimed for head and finished the battle so it was her loss.
