This is my first book and is a sci-fi detective story please review if you want more like this.

First off, I would like to point out that this is a fannovel of a popular (and loved by myself) military sci-fi shooter called Halo. Most Characters, Settings, Weapons and Locations within this book, are respectfully the property of 343 Industries, I do not own any of the aforementioned, this is a fan project dedicated towards this amazing franchise, not for profit nor publicity.

 I would like to thank Bungie for creating such an amazing game series that has been around for nearly two decades. And thank the wonderful people at 343 Industries who push on hard to uphold the Halo series today. 

I would like to also thank a particular inspiration to me as certain people may be able to infer from the cover and title of this fanbook. Eric Nylund, a great author and one who helped to breathe life into such an amazing franchise, even before Halo CE was released, loved by Halo Fans everywhere. I would also like to thank, and credit Fred Van Lente, who created the four main characters used in this fanbook, Van Lente created the main characters, and I hold no ownership over them. Fred is a great comic and book writer, making amazing works on not just Halo, but numerous Superheroes from the MARVEL franchise.

I would like to thank my parents, for always being there for me. And driving me to where I am today, looking after me, listening to me, and just generally how well you guys do your jobs. You have my eternal gratitude and thanks.

This is not a book but me introducing myself My name is Snow leopard or just... snow. I'm someone (or a nerd) who's into sci-fi, Fantasy, modern tech, modern warfare, futuristic, mystery, novels, and etc. I'm pretty much a nerd at many types of technology, also weapons and warfare, but beyond that I am planning to have my first book coming out soon that is a otherworlder book (This book also has me to have plans to actually publicly published It's as a real book for people who can buy at Barnes & Noble but that won't be for a long time) but most likely filled with space sci-fi and medieval type of fantasy and fanfiction. it's based off of other books (ones from Barnes & Noble). I plan to have it base off such as the gate, Stargate, The destroyer men series, Powell, Harry Potter, wings of fire, and Narnia. The story will be complex and when I say complex it will be complex It will be hard for me to make despite this I already have all the creativity and I need for the story. I'll also based off from other novels that are from web novel as well. Like Eodem the gun and a sword adventure (I believe I put that in right so tell me if I'm wrong) and other novels that can help me I can't put them in this part of the announcement I'm making because either I forgot or can't seem to find the right lyrics on how to pronounce it. anyways, it will be a while before I post the first chapter however it will most likely be another series I have been working on...so, where going to see some novels from me soon when this Corona virus is over and also I would like to shout out that I hope everyone is okay during this panademic It's really horrible I lost a few my family mates due to the virus I hope all of you are doing okay and not suffering too much from what has happened. It seems like to me that this panademic will probably at least take another year for it to completely go away due to how many people who have the virus and how long they're going to be infected and how long it's going to continue on slowly spreading by the minute but that will take a while before I completely dissipates. I hope you all have good luck and remember if you are a person who doesn't know what to do if you are in the situation when you have such a fatality and the parts of your life always remember they will always be with you no matter what even if you Lost a family member or not You know that there's always a chance for this to end sooner than you think it will pass by like you shooting a bird and the feathers slowly drifts down and waiting until it lands on the ground softly like the ending of the pandemic. First, I would like to apologize for not updating. I encountered some problems and decided to put this novel on hold for now. However, I am writing another fantasy novel.

His mouth opened into a silent scream as he fell on his knees with a loud thud, his hands clutching his throat. "Killing you when you're kneeling is easier. Less messy," she lifted her chin to watch the man turn into a puddle of blood before her.
Beaming, her dangerous aura swept through the room, making the other two people tremble, their hands shaking as they stared at the devil before them. They came here to have a good time with the new ladies that the people from the brothel had just kidnapped, not to watch as this woman killed the prince! Just who was she?
"Now," Lena's honeyed voice echoed. She looked at the two men and smiled. "Your turn."

Things that you need to know about this novel.
1. Volume 1 is about 100k words. I am currently writing 1k words per chapter but I am planning to increase that soon.
2. There might be NO romance. Or at least, no romance in Volume 1.
3. This is a soft fantasy novel. Meaning, there will be no hardcore science stuff instead, I will focus on society and culture.

I get it, sometimes it can be easy to be swayed to write something you don't enjoy. Say if everyone around you loved romance and sci-fi books, but you loved history books. You would be drawn to write sci-fi or romance so that your friends will read it. Don't! 
Doing that is only going to make writing it insufferable to you. Before I turned this into a book that will help starter witters write, this was going to be a sci-fi book. I tried to force myself to write chapters I didn't want to, so instead I changed it to an educational book. I find this much more enjoyable and easy to do. 
I'm not saying you shouldn't challenge yourself to write about themes other than the ones that you enjoy. That is a very good idea, sometimes it just takes a dip into another world to see things from a whole new perspective. That's the reason I was writing the sci-fi book, if i hadn't it wouldn't have turned into to this. Sometimes you might get into that theme of book and start writing it more often.
If you enjoy writing what you write, other people will see it. There will be things like editing a chapter 3 times in a week or writing a new one everyday. If you don't enjoy writing the book, you might just say the editing takes a while which is why you only update the story once a week. That isn't good! 
Of course sometimes you'll get busy with life and won't have the time you need to write the chapter, but if you enjoy what you write you'll want to come back to it every day or every other day. Take Valerie the Orphan as an example, I uploaded a chapter everyday because I was so in love with the characters and the plot and the timing and just everything!

Speaking of timing, if you want to write a fantasy book from way back in the 1700's, do it! Don't not write it just because you think other people won't like it. I'm sure there have been many people wondering if someone's ever gonna make a fantasy book from back in the 1700's.

Hi everyone.. I know, it's not good to disappear like that.
Sometimes you are too busy that you are confused as to what to do, yep.. That's what i feel right now. 
It's not a justification or anything like that, it's just how a feel about all of this.
a lot of stuff happened.. also I am currently writing my thesis and try to finish my study..
Soooo.. unfortunately I am not gonna be back.. not now.. maybe after graduation.. hopefully I am gonna be able to graduate this semester.. hopefully..

True, I can't put too much hope on a FanFic novel in term of.. you know.. income..
Aside from constantly checking the original source, I can't freely express myself using FanFic. Maybe because I am dumb or whatever. It's harder than I thought. Considering this is my first time writing a story.
My plan for the future is that if I can finish my Thesis this month, maybe I can releases some chapters weekly next month. Idk, we will see..
Also... about the FanFic stuff... clearly qidian won't give such novel a contract.. so if I am able to finish my study in time, I am planning on releasing this fanfic weekly and focusing on an original series. 
I have thought about It and decided to explore the fusion between Sci-Fi and Fantasy World.

Not everyone is born a hero. In the case of superheroes, it's a singular moment that typically sets the individual on the path to becoming a force for good. That's what is known as the origin story. Whether it's an alien with unbelievable powers or a regular Earthling who's just trying to do the best with their natural talents, each comic book protagonist has an experience that leads them on their heroic path. And boy, have there been a lot of these told for both classic and modern heroes. 

The comic book medium has been going strong for more 75 years, and over those decades hundreds, if not thousands, of superheroes have been introduced. Typically these origin stories have been seen across a variety of media by both passionate comic book fans and people who are just looking for a good tale. And just because a hero is successful doesn't mean that they got off to the best start with their origin stories, but when these tales are told right, they're the stuff of legend. Here are some of the most famous superheroes of all time ranked by how great and epic their origin stories are.

1. The X-Men

Of course, each individual X-Men has their own unique stories, but together the team's origin tale is a classic. As mutants, they were all born with their abilities rather than imbued with them by science, magic or aliens. Consequently, many of these people face mistrust and bigotry from the general population who view them as freaks of nature. However, despite their persecution, they still use their powers to protect the innocent. Brought together by Charles Xavier, the X-Men not only combat threats ranging from fanatical humans to fellow mutants, but their overall mission is to fight for the rights of their fellow mutants and usher in a world of acceptance and peace. So even though their overall story is based in a superhero world, it's memorable because their goals are similar to what many of us want to achieve in real life.

2. The Flash (Barry Allen)

In the 1950s, DC Comics decided to relaunch several of their most successful superheroes from the 1940s as new individuals. The Flash was the first to receive this treatment, being reintroduced in 1956 as forensic scientist Barry Allen. While working late in his lab one night, he was struck by lightning, which subsequently knocked him into shelf full of chemicals. After waking up, he discovered he could run at superhuman speeds, and donning the red and yellow costume that's become much more recognizable than his predecessor's, Barry became the new Flash and built a quite a supporting cast. Visually it's one of the best origins on this list, but it also has a distinct sci-fi feel to it that few DC hero origins had before it. Many non-comic book fans saw this origin told for the first time back in October on the CW series The Flash.

3. Green Lantern (Hal Jordan)

Green Lantern was the second DC hero to be revitalized during the Silver Age of comic books. This time around, test pilot Hal Jordan inherited a special ring after it was bequeathed to him by a dying alien named Abin Sur who had crash-landed on Earth. Unlike the magical ring that the Golden Age Green Lantern wore, Hal Jordan's ring was a product of science that allowed him to use his willpower to fly and make solid constructs with his mind. Inheriting Abin Sur's legacy, Hal became the new Green Lantern of Sector 2814, and the first human to ever join the Green Lantern Corps. Like The Flash, it's memorable for its sci-fi feel, but also to due to how this Green Lantern inherited his heroic legacy from a mysterious visitor (which would later be repeated with Kyle Rayner) whereas his predecessor Alan Scott just sort of stumbled upon his power.

Seen On Screen: In the flawed, but right now only, Green Lantern origin movie with Ryan Reynolds, which hit theaters in 2011.

4. Iron Man

Although the location for Iron Man's origin has changed several times throughout the decades, the story itself has not. While demonstrating some of his creations abroad, Tony Stark was injured and taken captive by enemy soldiers. While in captivity, he was forced to build weapons for these terrorists, but with the help of scientist Ho Yinsen, he built a mechanical suit that allowed him to defeat his captors and escape to freedom. With a renewed perspective on life, Tony uses his new armor to protect the innocent as Iron Man. Not only is it one of best redemption origin stories and full of action as Tony escaped his imprisonment, it also showed that not everyone who becomes a superhero starts out as a moral individual. Sometimes takes a nudge (or in Tony's case nearly dying from shrapnel in your heart) to discover your true potential.

Seen On Screen: Stark's destiny was brought to life by Jon Favreau in 2008's Iron Man, with Robert Downey Jr. in the lead.

5 Captain America

Captain America's origin story wouldn't work well as an anti-drug PSA, but it's an excellent story of trumping over the odds. Steve Rogerswanted to serve in World War II, but his scrawny body and ill health prevented him from enlisting. Fortunately for him, he was chosen as the test subject for Project Rebirth, and after being injected with the Super Soldier Serum, his body became the epitome of physical perfection. Soon after the scientist who created the serum was assassinated by a Nazi spy, leaving the serum's formula lost and making Steve the only one of his kind. He subsequently became Captain America to not only to help defeat the Axis forces, but to become one of the most well-known superheroes in the present-day after being frozen for decades. As mentioned earlier, it's memorable for featuring the little guy rising up to beat the odds, but it also helps that it was an important reflection of the era he was created in and even inspired good to defeat evil in real life.
