- Early morning

Zhang Jie Yu and Yue Qiu Shan were seated in a restaurant. There was a stone table in front of them and stone chairs about half a metre tall surrounding the tables. On the table was a jade tray, containing a pot and several tea cups. Two praying mats were beside them, with two other people occupying them.

The rising sun had just begun to shine. Zhang Jie Yu was seated quietly, meditating and chanting Dao Mantras. There was a line of Qi energy, similar to a thread on his body. 

Yue Qiu Shan had originally been drinking tea, but seeing a white string of Qi energy on his disciple’s body he knew it was the energy of an Elementary Scholar. He then said, "This energy is very profound. I was just thinking about your examinations, I did not expect to see results so soon. This is a gift.”

“With the Elementary Scholar status, your mortal side has been dissolved considerably.”

As Zhang Jie Yu was deep in meditation, his senses were all shut, and thus did not hear anything. A string of purple energy was visible for a second before he started vomiting. After three huffs, it disappeared. 

Yue Qiu Shan hurriedly poured a cup of red tea and brought it to Zhang Jie Yu who opened his eyes after smelling the aroma. 

Yue Qiu Shan smiled and said, "Come and sit Jie Yu.”

Zhang Jie Yu took the cup, drank a few mouthful and said, "That tasted good.”

“The product of a wealthy land obtained from ancient people with sincerity.” Yue Qiu Shan sighed and said, "Your Elementary Scholar status is already out.”

“In this world, people only care about wealth.” Yue Qiu Shan sighed again and said, " Look at these items. The curtains, the wooden files, the stove, the kneeling and praying mats. Even the tea you just drank. Are they not wealth too?”

“If you wish to speak of things of the Earth; although the divine mountains are not of this planet, Black Alter Sect’s mountain, Truth Sect’s Flat West mountain and First Pole Sect’s Green Treasure mountain, are they not Immortal mountains and not of this world either?”

“There can be no divine mountains without mountains.”

“As for paradise, even if our sect conquers the divine mountains, it is still a mountain. Therefore, the mountain Immortals, regardless, are still mountain people too.”

“These mountains need to have spiritual sources as with everything under the heavens.”

“Since there are many mountains on this Earth, you cannot conquer just one mountain and proclaim yourself king. People have to confer the title upon you, and recognize this to prevent any trouble. You know that if a mountain has no spiritual energy, conquering it means you are a just a rogue cultivator, and can only reach spirit Immortality. 

“This disciple knows that there are five classes of Immortals. Spirit Immortals, Human Immortals, Earth Immortals, Deity Immortals and Heaven Immortals. As for rogue cultivators, even if a human can cultivate the five energies, he will be no younger than a hundred and twenty when he is done. Then he will become a mere spirit Immortal. Zhang Jie Yu’s face was pale as he sighed, "The manual says that the pains of cultivating surpasses all else. Cultivation is like crops grown in sand and rocks, almost impossible to result in growth. Even if a person has the ability to fly, he would come up empty when he reaches paradise, and would only undergo transformation after.”     

“Only when there’s paradise, will there be Earth Immortals. Only when there’s a divine mountain, will there be Deity Immortals. The point of this discussion is to highlight the fact that even if you have the substance to become Immortal, but do not reach paradise, you will not become an Immortal. But our sect knows the path to paradise, and we have cultivated up to Earth Immortal status. 

“But teacher, what is the actual reason for coming so early? I am guessing it is not to say all these things.”

Yue Qiu Shan laughed and said, "We have thirteen people under us, and among them, I like you the most. You are young and have already developed such intelligence. Before I can even say anything, you have already guessed my intentions. You are correct.”

“Paradise has its limitations. I truly hope you will be able to rise in rank and eventually become an Earth Immortal, if not, to obtain the highest manual. But a word of advice, in order to become an Earth Immortal, you have to stand out from the rest.”

“I have a mission. If you are able to accomplish it, you will stand out from your peers.”

“Yes, thank you teacher for your guidance. Presumably, the new list of disciples have been confirmed?”

“The Elementary Scholars have been confirmed. Look, this is the namelist. Invite the Elementary Scholars according to this list. Silver Dragon Temple is just outside of the city and we have several outer circle disciples in the temple. Take these people into the temple. As to how you’re going to make them yield to you, I wish to see your methods. Take this as a test.”

“If you must know, unless you become a True Sovereign, you can never leave the mortal world. These disciples, regardless of inner or outer circle, are just assistants. Do not think too much of them.”

“Yes, I understand. If there is no inner or outer circle, even the heavens and divine mountains will not be able to contain me.” Zhang Jie Yu laughed as he spoke.

Safe Travels Inn

Pei Zi Yun was in his room reading after just having breakfast. At this point, he had no spiritual roots and was thus, unable to cultivate. Since he had nothing better to do, he started reading essays.

“After careful calculation, considering I did not make any mistakes, I should be ranked in the first band among the top three. The worst case situation would have me at the top of the second band.”

“It’s just that I am feeling very uneasy, I do not know why.” Pei Zi Yun thought of his mother back in Snail Village, and Ye Su'er back at Peach Flower Origins monastery and felt a flutter in his heart that would not become still. He turned a few times in his bed and tried to read the essay that he had memorized and written in the exams. He then sighed and finally understood.

I've obtained the literary skills of the old Elementary Scholar. Although he was very talented, it took him a long time before he eventually acquired the Elementary Scholar title. Hence, he bore a sense of despair and resentment.

“And this was shown when I wrote the essay. It was flawless in every aspect except for that tone of resentment.”

There was a knock on the door.

“Oh, it is brother Tang!” the person on the door was Tang Zhen, with a bubbly demeanor. He laughed and said, "Brother Pei, you have rested for two days already! Shall we go out and have some fun today?”

He then took out his invitation. Pei Zi Yun opened it and took a look. The invitation was from a poet’s society for a meet. The venue was at River View restaurant which was not far from the inn. Pei Zi Yun considered for a moment, thinking of how restless he was just now, being unable to read his essay. He did not want to seem too anti-social as well, so he decided to stop hesitating and finally said, "Of course.”

After instructing the hotel staff to bring some hot water for him to wash, he dressed in a newly washed and starched outfit. 

Before long, they were along the walkway as they approached the restaurant. From afar, they were able to spot it along the banks of the river. It had a good five stories to it, and was all glass. As they got nearer, they noticed that the river was facing the restaurant, with a few boats rowing along it. 

“River View and River Reflections are the biggest restaurants around the river. But River Reflections is much newer.” As they reached the entrance, they were welcomed by a student who was dressed in white and had a golden belt. He was holding a fan and welcomed them. 

Before they got to the entrance, the student hurried over to welcome them, "It is the famous brother Pei. Welcome, welcome! I remember you from the banquet that night. The poem you wrote on stage was very good, and hence, we just had to invite you. I hope you do not find it strange that I am this straightforward.”

He then led Pei Zi Yun up to the roof of the restaurant. Pei Zi Yun’s heart leapt as he admired the view from such a height. The wind blew over as the river gushed below. The river was so huge that to look in one direction, you were unable to see the end of the other. This made him think of an ancient poem in his previous life, as he recalled the exact emotions he felt while he saw scenery like this. He then said, "The front never got to meet the ancestors, and the end never got to meet visitors. It can only gaze into the heavens for all eternity.”

When he had arrived at the last line, he could not bring himself to finish it because it was too tragic.

The last line of the poem was the most important point. By missing it out, it was taken that he had the talent but not the opportunity. He was a young man, and the results of the examinations were not even out, from where did he get such old sentiments? He thus stopped and pretended that the poem ended there. He then said softly, "The poem has ended. The last line shall be completed another time.”

“Good, what a good poem. The only thing that was missing was the last line. What a shame.” Pei Zi Yun heard somebody say. He turned around to find the person holding a teapot and standing up. He poured a cup of tea and gave it to him. It was Zhang Jie Yu.

Zhang Jie Yu was dressed in his usual sharp attire, wearing a red sash around his waist. His shoes had a seasoned look about them, and were not extravagant, but seemed like they had faced a storm. 

Pei Zi Yun looked confused as he thought to himself, "What confidence he has, who would have expected that he is now a disciple of Holy Jail Sect." 

“Hearing brother Pei’s three lines, I was intrigued, only to hear that the poem has ended. I shall drink three cups to help brother Pei’s poetic inspiration.” Zhang Jie Yu laughed as he spoke, full of confidence.

“Sure!”

The students all around him voiced their agreements. 

Everyone saw the leader of the poet’s society bringing a youth up the stairs and found him very familiar. The students around did not seem to mind and were all exchanging poems with each other. The youth abruptly recited a poem. After hearing his first line, they were all smiling. As he recited the second line, a few were shocked. When the third line was said, everyone felt that it was a special, mythical poem. But he failed to deliver the final line. Thus when Zhang Yu Jia suggested a toast of three cups to help with his inspiration, everyone agreed.

In his memory of the previous life, Zhang Jie Yu did not become an enemy of the original owner. They just had certain small conflicts. He unintentionally caused the original owner to take a misstep that eventually caused him to lose many years. At this point, Pei Zi Yun could not refuse the toast, and drank three cups. The wine was bitter, but he swallowed it anyway.

After walking a few steps, an idea came into his head, but he did not reveal it yet. He then laughed and said, "Today my inspiration for the poem is depleted and I cannot complete it.”

Zhang Jie Yu sat down, and did not move.

A student sighed and said, "It was such a majestic poem, but without its proper ending. What a waste. Why doesn’t brother Pei leave a mark on this restaurant until he is ready to finish his poem? Would that not be a good idea?”

At this point, the waiter came up to serve dessert and another waiter brought an inkstone and a quill.

What a coincidence. To bring up the writing materials just as it was suggested. A student then took the ink and quill, and dipped the quill into the inkstone.

Pei Zi Yun then walked up without hesitation, took the quill and started writing. 

Before long, he had written the first three lines of the poem, with the waiter himself reading the poem out loud.

Once he had finished, he too felt a tinge of regret. Noticing that the poem had no name he asked, "Will young master leave a name for the poem so that I can hang it up and wait for you to return and complete it.”

Pei Zi Yun laughed, “Since this poem was written atop this place, the poem shall be called River View.”

Suddenly, a commotion was heard downstairs and a Daoist man came upstairs. Seeing a table had some meat and wine, he proceeded to help himself to those.

The waiter was still thinking about the poem when he saw this unkempt Daoist and began to rage. 

From where did this dirty Daoist come from, and how dare he come into this restaurant and cause problems?!

Pei Zi Yun looked at this man and thought he looked familiar. A student said, "You dirty Daoist, all you know is eat and laze. And you still want to steal meat? Have you given up on your cultivation journey?”

As he said this, he drank the wine and replied, "Food and wine are for the stomach. Dao is for the heart.”

The student heard this and was enraged, "You are not speaking logic Daoist, in fact you are speaking rubbish.”

The waiter heard this and called for more waiters, "Come, let’s bring this scoundrel to the courts.”

Upon realizing the severity of the situation, Pei Zi Yun felt compelled to do something and said, "Just give him the wine and meat. Today is the poets gathering, why should everyone get upset.”

The waiter heard Pei Zi Yun and laughed, "Since master Pei asks for compassion, it will do us no harm to give him a plate of salted vegetables. But he has to eat somewhere else.”

As he said this, he instructed, "Give this Daoist some salted vegetable, and let him eat downstairs.”

Seeing this, the Daoist man said, "You wretched people, you don’t know better.”

The Daoist laughed as he walked down. Pei Zi Yun felt a laughter in his heart. He looked at Zhang Jie Yu and noticed he was deep in thought and was immobile. 

Nobody else knows, but I do. Zhang Jie Yu is a disciple of Holy Jail Sect. This Daoist man tried to fool around and disgraced the Dao. Zhang Jie Yu could not bear it.

But in a situation like this, this Daoist man seemed very fishy. This event is very suspicious as well.



Earth Immortals are cultivated from a blessed land,
Heaven Immortals move to and fro from the divine mountains.
I have a stalk of plum blossom, and I shall maraud the Will of the Heavens with it!

Like a high-voltage current was exposed to the air, the sizzling sound of the cloud grew louder, attracting the attention of many passengers who had yet to sleep in the cabin.
Puzzled, everyone left their seats and gathered at the window to look outside.
Flashes of lightning that resembled silver snakes flashed ceaselessly in the dark clouds. In the alternation between darkness and light, gushes of white mist could be seen soaring merging and converging together, as they exuded a faint yellow glow.
All of a sudden, a thunderous sound resonated, the fog that had gathered in a group transformed into a giant flashing door, revealing a mystery land hidden behind white clouds and drizzle that were billowing between strange jagged rocks and mountain peaks, 
After a moment of flabbergasted silence, some stuttered and said, "I-It's a mirage, right…" This caused everybody's heart to become calmer. Encountering a strange incident while flying in the air was even more frightening than usual.
Unfortunately, not long after this speculation was made, a skinny, middle-aged man who had a moderate height looked at the ever-changing scenery in the light door and shook his head. "I've encountered a mirage in a desert the year before, and it was like watching somebody else in a mirror; the image would never move around, it's differed completely from this. Now, we're on a flying airplane, so if it was a mirage, it would have long gone in a flash."
When the middle-aged man's words left his mouth, the light door flashed in front of a stone monument. Although the scenery shot across in just a short amount of time, it was enough to let the Gate of Dao's disciples who just wanted to join in the fun saw the two bold, ancient big words that had a heavenly character and style clearly.
"It's Yingzhou! It's Yingzhou. It's the Yingzhou paradise…" When the Taoist exclaimed loudly in great shock, other people did not have much reaction, but when his comrades from the same Gate, who had been calm and nonchalant towards the strange phenomenon of the clouds, immediately had a change of expression when they heard this. Quickly, they leaped up to their feet and went to the window in an instant.
At this time, the scenery in the light door had changed. However, now that they looked at it after getting the hint, the feeling they had was different too.
"There's a poem from the ancient time that goes like this, 'Seafarers speak of uncharted lands in the Yingzhou, yet all anyone has ever seen of it are billows and fog. Nothing to prove such a belief. The people of Yue spoke of Tianlao, though around it hover clouds bright or dim, visible sometimes in her countenance.' This saying is indeed right. How can such celestial islands be found in the mortal world…" The old man who was wearing old-style gold-rimmed glass and had been humiliated by his Junior Nephew for spouting nonsense looked at the strange cloud phenomenon with his eyes brimming with brilliance. All gloominess disappeared from his face as he spoke in ecstasy, "This is a great chance! This is a great chance this is really a f*cking big chance!"
Many paradises are circulating in the ancient Chinese legend, but there were only four most famous ones—Penglai, Yingzhou, Fangzhang, and Tianlao.
According to legend, these four places were the heavenly blessed spots that were usually isolated from the human world, not connected with the world at all. If any mortal was lucky enough to encounter any of them, he would often obtain a chance to have a meteoric rise and become immortal.
Since ordinary people could already reap such benefits, cultivators would naturally gain more. Even in modern times, looking from an optimistic point of view, such 'paradise' was probably an incomplete 'half realm.' A person could open it to reap benefit from it if one was capable. When the Gate of Dao's disciples saw this, they were immediately ecstatic, even the old-time cultivators had forgotten to keep their voice low.
After a moment of ecstasy, they could not help but quietly looked at Zhang Lisheng, who was by the side.
Witchcraft and Dao had been fighting for thousands of years, and it had been passed down to the present. Although the Taoists had encountered many twists and turns before, the secular authorities often used them. Then, he pointed at the cloud light door and transmitted his voice, "Dr. Zhang, I'm Song Huiyuan. Nice to meet you. Yingzhou is a paradise for the Gate of Dao's ancestors to cultivate, and now that we're lucky enough to encounter it, I'm afraid we would want to…"
When Zhang Lisheng saw the emergence of the light door, his experience of buying the jelly gem by chance in the Amazon city suddenly appeared in his mind.
The young seller's words seemed to be ringing again in his ear. "I saw a dark yellow glow that appeared in the jungle out of nowhere when I was peeing behind my house…I found out that it was a large glowing door that was even bigger than 10 trees combined. The door connected to an island with strange rocks, rivers, and houses. I've never seen those square wooden houses with long roofs and sharp tips before, but they looked beautiful. Oh yes, there were many strange animals and big birds carved on those houses which looked like they were alive. The door felt like it had legs. It was walking around the enormous island and stopped when it arrived before a gigantic, colorful rock that looked like a mountain. I couldn't help but extend my arm to touch that big rock. In the end, the door disappeared when I retreated my hand from the pain. However, I was lucky that I grabbed this piece of jelly gem, but I have no idea how it happened."
That jelly gem had saved the young man several times. He realized that the stone was strange, so he began to study it meticulously; he could almost be sure that it was the only piece of sky-patching stone that Ancient Goddess Nuwa used to travel around the world and trekked through the mountains to refine the five-color soil by borrowing the sun's divine flame Tiantai Mountain to save the people.
Now that Zhang Lisheng saw the Yingzhou paradise miraculously appearing right before his eyes, his heart jolted. At once, he realized that the place where the light door connected, thus allowing the native young man entered to grab the jelly gem, was most likely the place where Ancient Goddess Nuwa had turned into dust after taking materials to create the sky-patching stones and dried her own blood essence up—the Tiantai Mountain.
When the young man thought of this, he immediately was interested in going to the Amazon to explore it. After all, the five-colored soil and the relics, as well as the shattered remains of Ancient Goddess Nuwa, might be able to patch the worlds' fences. To him, this had value so high that it was simply inconceivable.
In comparison, he did not even have to bother himself with the Yingzhou looming in the distant clouds. He might as well throw 'it' to the Gate of Dao's people to struggle with it, and if they could reap benefits from it, they could indirectly help the Chinese government to increase their fighting strength against Atlantis.
Many thoughts flashed across Zhang Lisheng's mind. When he snapped back to reality, he shrugged without waiting for the Taoist to finish his words, "Mr. Song, just do whatever you like. I just feel nothing but headache when I see such supernatural phenomenon involving space chaos. I just want to hurry up and dodge, so I can rest."
Even if the words that the ancient witchcraft's successor uttered in front were real or not, Song Huiyuan immediately felt relief in his heart. Bowing, he said, "In that case, thank you."
Then, he proceeded to gesture his companions to leave the cabin together.
After watching the Taoists leave, the young man quietly put up with the glances he obtained from the surroundings and returned to his seat to sit down.
Shortly after Zhang Lisheng returned to his seat, Guo Caiying sat back beside him and asked curiously in a whisper, "Junior Brother, this name Yingzhou is very familiar. What is this place actually? Why would that old Taoist become so excited and actually recited a poem in the cabin to attract other people's attention? These 'special people' usually would disguise themselves very well in public under normal circumstances."
"Yingzhou is one of the four great paradises in ancient mythology. It's mentioned before in one of the Four Classic Novels, Journey to the West. When these Taoists saw it, this paradise immediately blinded them; how could they possibly pay any more attention to whatsoever disguise anymore?"
"One of the four great paradises? Legend has it that it would bring great fortune to even an ordinary person who comes across it…" The girl pondered for a while before jokingly saying, "I'm an ordinary person, so why I don't feel anything? I've heard of this one poem before, 'When a deity caresses my head, my hair will braid, and my life will extend.' I should feel some difference if my life span is extended, right?"
When her words left her mouth, the airplane suddenly shook a few times before resuming in their ordinary course.
"It's 'encountering' a paradise, not 'looking' at a paradise. It won't count if you don't go inside Yingzhou," the young man shrugged and said.
"Then take me inside and see how it goes. I'm a little curious, Junior Brother."
"That kind of unstable mysterious 'space' is too dangerous, I dare not take you in. It's effortless if you want to live longer. The main research topic I have been doing in the Shrimp World No. 2 is crushing the 'power core' of the supernatural creatures there and transplant it into the human bone marrow. I've made some breakthrough progress now, and if I carry out the surgery at all cost, the success rate is 90%, and after the surgery, you'd be able to restore to the peak of the human body, and your life expectancy would be significantly increased. When the light flashed, Zhang Lisheng carefully condensed water vapor to form a transparent armor, to envelop Guo Caiying and himself.
When the brilliance appeared, Guo Caiying stood up once again in bewilderment with her jaw dropped but inadvertently noticed the water flow covering her body.
When the young man saw the girl looking down at her body in shock, he stood up and whispered in her ear, "Senior Sister, we're flying over 10,000 meters high now, so I think we better be more careful. This layer of 'water armor' can protect you from crashing even if the plane crashes. It can also change with your movements, so you can just ignore it and pretend that it doesn't exist."

The Hun so loved the cry, one falling elephant's,   
he wished to hear it again. At dawn, my mother   
heard, in her hospital-dream of elephants,   
sirens wail through Manhattan like elephants   
forced off Pir Panjal's rock cliffs in Kashmir:   
the soldiers, so ruled, had rushed the elephant,   
The greatest of all footprints is the elephant's,
said the Buddha. But not lifted from the universe,   
those prints vanished forever into the universe,   
though nomads still break news of those elephants   
as if it were just yesterday the air spread the dye
("War's annals will fade into night / Ere their story die"),

the punishing khaki whereby the world sees us die   
out, mourning you, O massacred elephants!
Months later, in Amherst, she dreamt: She was, with dia-
monds, being stoned to death. I prayed: If she must die,   
let it only be some dream. But there were times, Mother,

This is not a novel or anything(sorry if you came here thinking this was a novel), this just something I am doing to pass my time and boredom.

Basically in this I will be posting a chapter with a quote and poem every day, what kind of quote and poem? Read to find out. By the way the quotes and poem will not be mine.

In the nick of time, Dassah Quinn together with her language teacher halted outside of a common classroom. The door was liberally unlatched; the inward of the area filled with a dim light as Dassah's hair color.

Anxiety slammed the system of Dassah, as the lady surmised that she stumbled across the ordinary area nearly less than three days ago.

Ma'am Azuela patted the juvenile's shoulder, and calmly spoke. "Stay here. I'll call you when it's your moment to shine. Okay?"

Stopped dead, the young lass left no capacity to reply and stayed stiff on her posture. The subject educator moved forth to the classroom, wore her signature smile, and sweetly greeted to her loving learners.

"Good morning, Borges."

"Good morning, Ma'am Azuela. We are honored to have a lesson with you this day. Mabuhay!" the section warmly welcomed.

Thereafter the exchanging of their courteous salutation, Ma'am Rhea Azuela settled the senior high schoolers on their particular armchairs. 

Counting them one by one, she convinced herself they were all attending; anyone didn't aim to be absent nor to sneak out.

"So, I have invited a student from section Yeats. And, she would love to share her written poetry to you..."

Heeding her teacher, Dassah growled. She inwardly crushed and spat at Ma'am Azuela into a flaky dust in her imaginative brain. How dare she could utter such nonsense? Missing out of her approval, Ma'am Azuela basically dragged her to convey the fricking-hideous-and-unpleasant paper to her batchmates.

"...And, mind you. She barely produced it in a range of thirty minutes." 

The juvenile entities wowed on what they heard from Ma'am Rhea. In less than an hour, the lady managed to compose her craft; she definitely had a talent for generating literary works.

Unbelievable.

"Without further ado, let me call on Miss Dassah Quinn to showcase her masterpiece to us."

Ma'am Rhea glimpsed at the threshold, and gestured the girl who was nervously shaking her hands and lurking outside to enter in. The teenager took a deep breath and began to step foot in the area.

"Here goes nothing," Dassah whispered to herself.

She eventually seized the whole stage and exuded a counterfeit confidence in her. Couple of eyes and ears directed to her in an anticipation of listening to beautiful poetry from her sealed mouth. 

Dassah breathed again for a while, and stole a glance at the young lad by the name of Salvatore Martin. Their sights locked up as if a coil which wrapped them up.

Just as soon as she would finish her speech, Miss Quinn wished to be devoured by the ground for some substantial reason. 

The woman then introduced herself to the crowd, "Good day everyone, I am Dassah Quinn from Yeats. And, I'm here to share with you a poem, entitled, 24/7 Shop."

She glimpsed at her paper and commenced her discourse.

"Standing by my sitting place,
I dreamed of a blissful case.
I sipped on my cup of coffee,
And pondered, "What'll the future be?"

Behold, a doting couple took the entryway.
I ought to seek their miraculous sparkling ray.
I, myself, gaped at the portrait of a woman's loving gaze.
"Is it how affection behave towards a mere dame?"

And lo, a fair-looking man stumbled upon the store,
With his wee brother, oh how adorable he bore.
I laid my eyes onto the man and I fainly realized.
He and I would one day meet up in our precious paradise."

As she ended her poem, she gazed at the man whom she had referring to her writing, and glowed in her joy which Salvi only took a notice.

The class of Borges gave tremendous applause to Dassah Quinn's speech.

Despite her being a shameless woman who shouted and name-called the class president before, the section Borges unanimously couldn't withhold that the flamboyant jet black-haired woman in front of them was utterly promising in the field of literature.

Ma'am Rhea genuinely smiled at her courageous student. Deeming it was an on-the-spot presentation, Dassah perfectly presented it and hit the nail on the head.

"Miss Dassah. Thank you so much for giving the Borges a chance to hear your poem. The message is so sincere I can't reckon myself a teen as you can create something wonderful." she confessed.

Dassah mentally rolled her eyes at her language educator. Ma'am Azuela was indeed manipulating her through flattery and praises circulating out from the old woman. The female student let out a fake grin on her face to show. Wanting to part her way, she pointed her thumb at the opening and meekly queried. "Ma'am, may I go now?"

"Oh yes. Sure. Again, thank you, Miss Quinn." Ma'am Azuela said; Dassah scurried herself to the exit, and exhaled.

She was merrily free from bondage. 

There were no more talks and pressure applied on her marbles. 

Departing, the young lady hearkened a familiar voice of a man.

"M-Ma'am," the young lad called, raising his hand.

"Yes, Mister Salvi?"

Dassah automatically paused, and went back to the doorway, and hid herself. 

She carefully peered at the sideway, and listened, marveling what Salvi would tell after she begone from the classroom. "Are we also going to speak what the girl do?"

"Correct," she said, and the students were shocked and groaned. Nonetheless, Ma'am Azuela didn't suppose to let them perform as of the moment. Clearly, their works weren't as invincible as Dassah Quinn's craft. 

It wasn't because she underestimated their abilities. Ma'am Rhea previously perused various pieces from their section, yet anyone couldn't pass to her subjective standard.

Her fondness in literature beats her. She believed every literary piece should have a story to tell, and a deep meaning to it.

Yet, the students of Borges took it lightly. They treated it as a mandatory job. 

Upon these terms, the neglective beings couldn't care less if they composed a crappy craft which was why she would grant the filthy students homework to improve it.

The bad news was they still perpetrated it as a norm.

"Uh... Ma'am, may I recite my poem to my classmates?" Salvatore asked.

Ma'am Rhea came to be amazed. Out of the thirty-five students, there was one who would propose to read his work. 

Even if she would hear another gibberish writing, she would endure it. Besides, a courageous man had no fear to do what he wanted to fulfill.

Ma'am Rhea glowed, and nodded, "Alright. Come up on stage, and I'll give you the floor to talk. And, a plus point for volunteering."

Salvatore then grabbed his pad from his school bag, seeking for the paper. Finally, he went on stage and mustered the strength to voice out his penned paper.

He started up introducing himself and moved forward to read his assignment. "Friend of mine."

"Jet black hair was flaunting willingly onto her shoulder back.
Her mouth's forming into an arched bow, desiring to attack.
She, who had a contagious lively arrow within her,
Was targeting me as a venomous predator.

Gone were the days when I was a lonesome man,
I, standing alone, was the ominous prime plan.
Seclusion comforted a downright spirit of mine erewhile,
However, slowly, the strategy lingered me for a single mile.

And now, here she was, never putting a warning cue,
Often surfacing up to my cumbrous point of view.
"May I be your friend?" twice, she questioned me.
"Go ahead," I confided, but 'twas my hidden answer key."

Ma'am Rhea certainly clapped her hands as a trace of acknowledgment for her student's exemplary work. 

How come Mister Martin didn't exhibit his capability in composing an art?

"Bravo, Mister Martin. Bravo. I do admire your bravery and your poem." she clapped, and look at the man who was hiding his face onto the paper.

"Ma'am, thanks," Salvi responded, brushing his nape by his right hand. Shyness erupted in his senses. He wasn't used to receiving compliments and acclaims from the people; he himself wasn't certain if they told him the truth, to begin with.

Existed to be nosy, Ma'am Rhea Azuela cheekily asked. "Hmm... Who was this girl you were talking about?"

Salvi then plastered an infectious grin on his face, and asserted his words to his investigative English teacher, "Someone whom I came upon in the 24/7 shop."

Qiao Ying watched the spectacle with a smile.
"Oh… this… that…" Jun Moxie wrecked his brain. Looks like I'll have to plagiarize significantly today. 
"Xue Yan is right! Then I shall compose a poem for you first, Xue Yan." Jun Moxie cleared his throat. All the women looked at him expectantly. Naturally, there were a few that were gloating at his demise. 
Like Miao Xiaomiao for example. Currently, she practically cackling away in her head. You, a fighter… dare to say that you know how to write poems? You're probably capable of producing an incongruous limerick! Hmph! I am determined to watch you make a fool out of yourself today! How dare you think of comparing yourself to my Jun Ye!
"En… I got it! Xue Yan is generosity and magnanimity has given me an inspiration." Jun Moxie took a couple of steps and snapped his fingers. "The colored clouds are her flowing robes, the flowers, her face that glimmers in the bright, spring dew; If you do not see her atop the jade mountains, you'll find her beneath the moonlight of paradise!" 
All the women were stunned!
Miao Xiaomiao was stunned to the point of silence!

Sung Ming pushed open the green wooden door with birds of paradise flowers painted on it and stood to the side, inviting her in. Shen Tianyu strode in and couldn't help but sigh in awe. 
The lowest ledge of the large rectangular framed window, that nearly covered the entire wall, on the opposite side of the room was up to right below her breasts. Below the right side of the ledge was a chaise padded with cotton-stuffed linen. Further in, on her right, was a big framed bed with a big circular opening, about 7 feet in diameter, facing the center of the room. The frame of the opening was carved with Chinese dragons on each top corner, a flower emblem between them, and more flowers on the bottom. Bright red curtains were tied with golden tassels to each side of the frame to reveal a luxurious king-sized bed with red bedding and a folded turquoise blanket embroidered with gold and orange scenery. The other sides of the framed wooden bed were just plain lacquered black walls. Across from the bed, on the other side of the room, was a big lacquered wooden table with a lamp on the corner closest to the window. In front of the table was a lacquered black chair with carvings on the back. On the wall above the table was a painting of a plum blossom branch with a poem on the bottom left. In the middle of the room was a low table with a sofa chair on the right side and chairs opposite, the same set up as the conference room. In front of the door, on the left side was a big space, about as big as the bed which took up a quarter of the room, was separated by two folding screens. On the right side, next to the bed, was a small bookcase. Due to the rarity of books, even Lavender Palace who the emperor deferred to couldn't gather very many books, though the collection right here would already make even the prime minister drool. In addition, most books available had to do with Confucian teachings, the contents of the Imperial Examination, and were of little interest to Shen Tianyu. ('Hey. Author, don't bring your modern world analysis into this, printing hasn't been created, of course books would be rare and hard to get.' Shhhh.) Next to the bookcase, was a laminated dark red closet as big as she was.

"Sigh. This room is beautiful... I love it." Shen Tianyu's face blossomed into a beautiful, bright smile.

"I am glad Master likes it." Sung Ming, who was stunned by her smile, recovered his wits quickly.

Shen Tianyu stretched again and turned towards Sung Ming. "Okay then. I'm going to take a nap right now. Send someone to wake me up when the sisters wake up."

"Understood, Master." Sung Ming responded and retreated from the room. Shen Tianyu opened the closet and took out a plain, light green sleeping robe. Holding the robe, she walked towards the corner separated by the folding screens and changed into it. Then, she put her previous robe into the closet and laid down on the bed and fell asleep.

You gave me another reason not to stop
Aren't you sorry for makin' me messed
Lettin' me continue to wander in your trap
Thinkin' that there's still hope, no less

You're indeed cruel for makin' me wait
Don't you realized I've been always hurt
Until now you made me feel the pain of your bait
Though I can stop right now, for you, am sure to wait.

Did I expect too much?
Oh! Wrong question.
Do I have the right to ask?

People may think am in sync

How can you let me enter there
If things isn't clear but blur
Let yourself feel first the cure

Let us make things easy for the both of us
We can never escape the space around us
Let first the broken hearts heal
Let each other be freed from pain

Questions have been rushin' through my head
It makes me dizzy like I've drunk a whole case
It hurt as hell, I feel numb, feels like dead
Makin' me find answers in a cementery  thread

The worst is to question myself
Loosing the once eagerness
Makin' my mind a broken shelf
Pieces of ideas become a complete mess

How can I write a song that's about us
If there's nothing between us
I promised that my writing wouldn't last
Then I wrote a poem that's not about you
Only to find out that its all for you

Some things you just don't forget even though you wish you could.

That is the memories kept in our minds; memories that don't leave us no matter what; and I wished it will really not.

Memories made by me with all the people I spent my days. Though I don't know if it will last forever, I hoped that these people will cherish our memories as well.
