NARRATIVE of WARD COURIER/CONFERENCE with TED BENNETT and EVAN DAVIS, Continued
March, 2010
BUFFALO, NY

"Where do you think that incident happened?" said Ted Bennett. "The meeting at the inn?"
"I think it was in one of the towns along one of the Finger Lakes, maybe Cayuga Lake, maybe the west side. He told me the town, but it didn't register. I don't get to that part of the state too much. You might go into the records and look for the disappearances of young women in the area. If any of this is true, that young woman in the story was real and natural as far as the people she worked with were concerned. Someone must have reported her simply disappearing. I do know that it was in the spring, and it would have been in the early-1990s."
"You think this Lang-character existed?" said Bennett.
"I believe that there is or was somebody out there like him," I said. "My own friend had a penchant for edgy friends of his own. I would wager that some version of this story is close to something someone really told him. My friend took his witness seriously or he never would have told the story to me. But don't forget that my story is an imaginative takeoff. My friend never witnessed morphing vampires or spontaneous post-death combustion, and I never got to speak to the man who claimed to."
"So how much belief in any of this do you have?" said Bennett.
"My friend didn't go out of his way to tell whoppers," I said. "He was a pretty tough-minded guy. He actually had a complete scorn of most spiritual and paranormal subjects. Ghosts... UFOs... Mystery monsters... Religion he saw as a way of controlling the masses. He did like Forteana, though: weird stuff. I remember that about him."
"Ghosts and UFOs aren't weird?" said Evan Davis.
"Weird they may be," I said, "but they aren't lonely. They come in categories, and there's a tradition about both subjects in legend and report. Maybe millions of sightings. Reported sightings, I mean. Many people still say they see those things. Hell, I've seen a couple ghosts.
"The big trick with the subject of Forteana, nicknamed after Charles Fort, a twentieth century American author, is that they tend to be one-offs. Fort's got four books, and he sort of set the model. Fortean phenomena is things that are weird, but that have no perceptible meaning or connection. They are strings of reports, eruptions of crazy stuff that make no sense. Crazy lights in the sky. Crazy things falling out of the sky. Crazy things dug up out of the ground. Fort's work is sort of a paranormal "Ripley's Believe it or Not." My old friend used to like that stuff. It appealed to his sense of the contrary."
"We'd like to speak to your friend's mysterious friend," said Bennett hiding his impatience with my instruction. "The Lang-character."
"I could probably track down my late friend's second wife," I said. "I can find you some friends. But the obituary ought to be the best lead on family. You might do something as simple as check the log of signatures at the memorial, to be honest. It would be just like that Lang-character to show up out of nowhere, nod to the casket, say nothing, and be gone. I'll do the best I can with those names and contacts when we're done." There was an uncomfortable silence. "Why are you guys so interested in this story and my late friend? It seems just too fantastic to be related to anything."
Ted Bennett said. "We found something in your story about silver."
I looked at them as if to say, 'So?'
The guys at the table made eye contact. Bennett spoke precisely. "In your circles... in the paranormal... Have you heard anything about the effectiveness or properties of silver? Is there any sort of tradition there?"
"Not in paranormal reports," I said. "Not ringing any bells at all. I've never heard anyone carry on about it except as a medicine against infections in very small doses. I know it's a natural antibacterial agent. I hear the aristocrats in Europe didn't catch some of the plagues because they ate off silver implements and got little doses of the metal that way. In folklore - traditional folklore and legend - now that's a different story."
"So folklore and the paranormal are different," said Evan Davis.
"Uh... Yeah," I said. I thought we'd been through that before. I thought everyone with an education had been through it.
"Folklore is... Well, hard to summarize. Folklore is understood to be almost completely fiction. Folklore is traditional legends and stories that have undergone so many changes in the cycle of oral tradition that they've become utterly fantastic. It's legends turned into stories. Magic spells and beings. Talking animals. Shapeshifting. Curses.
"There's a cultural association with folklore, too. It brings people of a like origin or occupation or mindset together. It's got a preindustrial root. It's passed along through generations. The stories that make it... The ones that last with the culture... They have a thematic integrity, a balance to them, a serious meaning to the unconscious mind. They're satisfying. They're moral or instructional. Otherwise they wouldn't have lasted.
"The paranormal... That's a much more contemporary idea. It's a much younger version of folklore. It's rumor before it becomes folklore. And it's all presumed to be true, at least by the people who perpetuate it. You find living people all the time asserting that their various paranormal subject areas are actually real. Nobody comes up and tells you that about folklore. I guess the key is that folklore is based on stories and the paranormal is based on witnesses. You could also say that the paranormal is folklore in the first generation.
"'Paranormal' is starting to be used in pop circles as a synonym for 'ghostly.' Really, 'paranormal' means just something that isn't accepted by the mainstream. Least it did thirty years ago. Mystery monsters. UFOs. Earth energies. Vortexes. Ancient mysteries. It's like in a funny way the TV industry has swayed the definition of a word. It happened with 'ectoplasm,' too." They looked bored with my elucidation. I wish they would have asked what was really on their minds.
"Sometimes what's considered paranormal actually becomes normal. The Europeans thought the African gorilla was like Bigfoot until the late 1800s. Archaeoastronomy - astronomical alignments at ancient religious structures - was something for the loony fringe till the 1960s when Gerald Hawkins wrote his book on Stonehenge. In the 1970s Anthony Aveni of Colgate demonstrated archaeoastronomy in Mesoamerican sacred structures, and then it came all the way out of the closet."
Davis looked at me like I was Mr.-Unasked-for-Walking Encyclopedia. "You are certainly one prepared young man," he said in his accent I still presumed to be midwestern.
"We're continually impressed by your grasp of your subject," said Ted Bennett. "Let's get back on base with the legends from your perspective. Why is silver supposed to be the metal that works against evil? Vampires, monsters, werewolves?"
"I never said it was," I said. "Not everywhere. It's true that in film and fiction of the last hundred or so years, silver has been the go-to monster fighter. But that's all pop. Entertainment."
They looked at me as if this surprised them. I realized again that their understanding of these subjects was entry-level no matter how many reports they had somebody write for them.
"The notion that silver was the material that worked against vampires is a fairly regional tradition from the Carpathian mountains," I continued. "No one's sure how old it is. Right at the end of the 19th century, the Irish author Bram Stoker popularized the silver thing in his hit book on Dracula. Very little that you see or read about vampires or werewolves since has been influenced by anything other than Stoker. The metal that was presumed to be the real magic-fighter to most of preindustrial Europe was iron." They both blinked.
"Yeah, there's actually a much older and stronger tradition about iron. Don't forget that a lot of our tales and legends have their roots in the Stone Age, the Copper Age, or the Bronze Age... eras in which iron was pretty rare. Iron was such a wonder-material in its early days that it's no wonder it would become the focus of a lot of legend. In the ancient world in Europe it was always iron that worked against all types of magic. Witches, fairies, ghosts... The story goes that that's why we have so little magic in the world anymore. It's why we don't see the fairies. Steel and iron are everywhere. It's supposed to be deadly against magic."
"We're mostly interested in what you have to say about silver," said Evan Davis. "We're looking for ideas about it as a material in your subject field. Why would silver have an effect, a damaging effect, on something when nothing else would?"
"Let me backtrack," I said, although thinking to myself, 'Why is the drug guy so curious about silver?' "The preindustrial world had a number of ideas about materials that worked against evil forces or beings. It wasn't just iron or silver. There were plants like garlic in the Mediterranean and Central Europe. The oak was big with the Celtic druids. Mistletoe was big with the Scandinavians. For the Iroquois nations of upstate New York, the magic wand had to be made out of the red osier, which is a type of a dogwood with beautiful bright red stems.

I've always been afraid in the forest. And the night. I don't know why, but I can't control myself. My friends laugh at me, but I don't care. I love to have fun listening to paranormal stories, listening to music or even reading. My name is William, and I'm 16 years old. I live in Paris, and my parents have been there for me forever since I was born. In high school, the teachers say I'm dissipated, which I admit annoys my parents. But, staying all day in a chair is not my delirium. One morning when I was chatting with Lucas, a friend of mine, the conversation turned to our favorite subject: the paranormal. We loved chatting about the paranormal videos that we spent hours watching on the way home. The day before, I had seen one of them who had rather freaked me out: two American teenagers had listened to music on the internet and said they had experienced paranormal events as a result.

The same evening, I was looking for this video and started playing it by clicking on the "play" button.

In addition to its anime, comics and games culture, Japan was also world-renowned for the paranormal; haunted cities, creepy forests, all sorts of urban legends and incredible stories. The Japanese were a society that worshipped ghosts.
Holding an annual National Ghost Summit, groups from all over the country would put on live performances under the theme of "local ghost stories" in a nationally-ranked competition. Such activities preserved Japan's ghost culture throughout the years.
Even for an island that regarded the hills and seas as being ruled by other-worldly beings, the survival of the paranormal culture to this day is nothing short of intriguing.
Although rational scientific thought would advocate for doing away with supernatural belief, in the eyes of the Japanese, ghosts, and spirits were just as tangible and real as the Earth and stars themselves.
Japan's reputation for its horror culture peaked as the movie, Ring, terrified audiences across the globe. However, the paranormal was not bound to merely a movie category. As long as ghosts and spirits remained close to humans, hearsay and folklore would keep the notion of the dead, alive.
Kimura Kazuki believed that many paranormal stories were created from the figment of human imagination and experience, seemingly ghostly, but not. Yet, not all accounts were made up blindly. Some of them were real. So then the question was, how can the existence of the paranormal be proven?
Kazuki did not know.
Naturally, he turned to the most straightforward answer- the internet.
However, Kazuki quickly realized that there was too much information on ghosts online. Most were fake; written to create an air of suspenseful horror. Other than that, the supposed "truth" was only fabricated as promotional gimmicks by those with influence.
Kazuki skimmed past and ignored the locations of Japan's sacred suicide grounds. As those who commit suicide had no intention to cling onto life, they are assumed to have no fixation.
Without fixation, there could not be any triggering of Worldly Reiki- leading to no formation of ghosts. As such, the common belief of suicide supposedly leading to the creation of ghosts is false.
Before the recuperation of Reiki, there are two types of ghosts.
Evil ghosts and benign or good ghosts.
Evil ghosts are said to be culminations of large amounts of hatred toward certain people or things before their death. While good spirits were characterized by their unwillingness to leave this world due to a deep fixation on certain people or things.
It was no secret that Kazuki was more willing to meet the latter. Even if good ghosts were not necessarily 'good,' they were, at the very least, able to communicate with humans clearly, allowing him to understand their requests fully.
However, what bothered Kazuki was the fact that good ghosts were not easy to find, as very few stories are known about them. On the other hand, evil spirits are less hidden.
The search for a good ghost would have to be limited to cases of accidents. This evil ghosts less rare to come by, as long as an eye was kept on criminal investigation cases.
Cases involving murder, domestic abuse, bullying, or debt collection would result in large amounts of hatred, leading to evil ghosts. Luckily, these cases were commonly reported on by news anchors and the media because of the attention they could grab.
Throughout the night, Kazuki filtered through the internet for news on criminal investigation cases. He didn't restrict his search to within Tokyo.
Though only a sophomore, his status, and good grades in Sakura Kyu wouldn't make it difficult for him to apply for a couple of weeks leave. As long as he maintained his grades, the Principal could not care less about where he went.
Not even the Dean of Sakura Kyu could discipline him, let alone the students. After all, the student council president was a member of the Sword Believers' Club.
At midnight, Kazuki concluded his research as his phone ran out of battery. Just after a few hours of sourcing from the internet, he already had a plan.
Akichi High School in the Herian District would be the first site of investigation since it's the closest. The Herian District was next to the district of Jinwen, roughly 10 minutes of travel by tram.
After a moment of contemplation, Kazuki charged his phone and went to sleep. From what he discovered earlier in the day, he needed a good night's rest.
The next day, Kazuki got up, took a shower, and gave his teacher a call to take the day off. He left the house soon after but didn't go directly to Akichi High School.
Instead, he went to the store to buy some brushes and ink, the pharmacy to buy some cinnabar and a shroud shop to get some yellow talisman paper.
Kazuki was going to draw talismans.
The Enchanted Talisman Skill was an ordinary skill that was used during the era of the recuperation of reiki.
Enchanted Talisman Skill, Alchemy, Weapon Refinery and Tactical Formations were the four main sideline occupations after the recuperation of reiki.
Previously, the recuperation of reiki was met with the spread of media, and the rapid progression of humanity.
Many scientists have also immersed themselves in these four sideline occupations, using modern science and technology to study these sideline occupations. Many talented professors would find something new every day.
Before Kazuki's time-travel, the Midea Group had come up with the Reiki Gathering Formation and had engraved mini formations inside of rice cookers, allowing electricity to trigger the formation. Thus, the rice produced would be filled with reiki and were also delicious to taste, causing even practitioners in isolation to crave for it.
It only took half a year for the Midea Rice Cooker to become the Midea Group's signature product.
Royalties had to be paid to the Midea Group every time the Reiki Gathering Formation was drawn. The Midea Group, the creator of the formation, was the copyright owner of the formation.
Even though the royalties were of a small sum, but the Reiki Gathering Formation was used by almost all of the practitioners of the world.
Drawing up a Reiki Gathering Formation at home would function, but large-scale formations would require the direct assistance of professionals from the Midea Group.
Just like that, the Midea Group were placed top 20 in the world with the creation of the Reiki Gathering Formation.
Kazuki knew how to draw up a miniature Reiki Gathering Formation, but there wasn't enough reiki in the air, so the formation was virtually useless.
Furthermore, to sustain the formation, energy rocks were required, and all energy rock mines were government-controlled regardless of size, making it hard to obtain. His wallet would run dry in less than an hour.
However, he figured that he could try to re-create a DIY Midea Rice Cooker himself, that would avoid copyright issues. Soon enough, Kazuki arrived home.
He took a quick shower, washing away the heat of the Summer, cleansing his body, face, hands, and heart.
Once everything was in order, Kazuki sat down at his study table, arranged the talisman paper, prepared for was to come and focused his attention to drawing.


Time travelling from the majestic era after the Recuperation of Reiki, he became Kimura Kazuki, a 16-year-old high school student in Japan, one year before the Reiki Recuperation.

Tentatively, he set out to hone himself to the bone, burning candles at both ends to stockpile resources in preparation for the imminent Recuperation of Reiki. His goal was to be many steps ahead of all humanity when the time comes.

However, it seemed like fate had decided to play a cruel trick on him.

One year later, the Recuperation of Reiki... did not happen as expected.



The story is fiction, yet the artwork is real. 

The story does contain some graphic imagery, art terms etc. 

'The Anguished Man' is an eerie portrait with an unknown history dating back to presumably, Northern England. It's one of the worlds most haunted painting. 

This distorted image depicting a figure howling in excruciating pain's medium is blood. This medium has a conceptual meaning and could represent the artist's identification with life and death. 

This nightmarish subject matter has inspired this book 'The Painters Death Wish' after the discovery of the artwork, it is sad to announce, that after completing the artwork, the artist committed suicide. 

An example of a blood painting would be this landscape painting done by Merryn Singer, rendering death camps during Apartheid.

THE PAINTERS DEATH WISH/PARANORMAL_PRINCESS 

I have read stories with psychological dilemmas however, B.C. Lawrence's Painter's Death Wish shoved my curiosity. The story was written in an emotionally gruesome way. The story revolves of a boy who is in deep aesthetic madness caused by his confusions of real art. "Is blood not thicker than the paint?" Literally, the painting's medium is the painter's blood and flesh. The author's ideology on psychologically troubled individuals is an eye opener for everyone that the horrors they face are not just a typical fears but tormenting nightmares. Every book is not worth comparing to any other stories because it has its own uniqueness and standout at its genre. And this one, the author just nailed it.

Donatella Claire, an art student, and blogger who sought out new material for her website. Finally living the dream and discovering artworks of all kinds, she stumbles upon an artwork drenched in solitude. The Louvre has many historical works on display but refuses to publicize one in particular.

Her love for art threatens her relationship, her passion for it causes her to face her mistakes. Her determination drives her into the supernatural. What happens next, is left on the sketchpad.

''Good evening young interns or should I say, future paranormal investigators and my fellow associates, my name is Earl Henderson, but you all should refer to me as Mr. Henderson. I would like to discuss this evening's agenda with you. Firstly, we will have our welcome and introductions from Mr. Williams then, we will have an introduction and brief history of our organization 'After Dusk Investigations' by Mr. Smith. Next, on today's agenda, we will have a few of our host and hostess give their speeches based on their experience and their time working with us, they will also introduce you to investigation then introduce you to paranormal activity, they will then take it a step further and introduce you to paranormal investigation. Thirdly, we will have some of our famous paranormal investigators who have studied here and who are quite experienced in this field, they will inform you of the risks and dangers you would have to face in being a paranormal investigator as well as offer some advice, spread their knowledge and share some helpful tips that will be quite beneficial for you on this internship. Finally, we will have our last speaker of this evening, our manager, and host who has been with us for over 20 years Mr. David Martin, he will fully explain this internship to you and give you all the details of it. After you will then be dismissed and required to meet in your groups at the back and your leaders will inform you of which forest you will be staying in for the next four months as well as further details of your specific destination'' the CEO notifies.
The meeting goes well, it's a bit long but very informative. I'm so agitated and anxious as I shift uncomfortably in my seat, I'm not cut out to stay in a forest for four months, that's crazy! I need way more training and practice before I go out in a forest all by myself, god knows what or who I would meet. Wait for a second, does it mean we have to camp out there for four months in the woods? no no no-no-no. I can't sleep in a tent in a forest in the middle of nowhere, something would kill me, especially if it's a haunted forest, being a paranormal investigator is something I've always wanted but I'm definitely not ready for this that will take years and years of training before I even think about doing something like this. Oh god!
My mother would never let me do that. My mother! oh my god, I totally forgot about her, she already doesn't want me to take this internship, wait till she hears that I have to camp out in a haunted forest for four months, she would never let me do that but then again I'm almost 18, I'm almost an adult and I can make these decisions on my own, it's my decision if I wanna camp out in a forest for four months then I can, she can't force me not to.
She will flip out when she hears this and I have no idea how I'm gonna tell her or Nelson, I should maybe just tell both of them at the same time in the car so that way I won't have to listen to Nelson repeat my mother's words for the second time if I tell him alone. Erin and April won't be pleased about this either but if I really wanna do this I know they'll support me. I can't be away from Nelson, Erin, and April for so long, my mother maybe, but not without the three of them. I won't know anyone there, friends don't really matter to me that much, I've never had that many when growing up, it was always only Nelson but I wouldn't like to be alone and not have any close friends on this trip. I will be by myself camping out in the woods with a group of strangers for four months, that thought sends a shiver down my spine.
''Are you okay?'' Kate nudges me on the elbow, she must've noticed my flustered expression.
''Yeah, I'm just a little nervous'' I respond.
The meeting is now over and Kate and I make our way to the group meeting at the back.
''Good evening everyone, this group meeting will be brief, my name is Janet Wilber and this is my colleague George Brown, we will be your leaders for this tour along with Henry Miller and Dave Mayer who are the hosts of this tour whom are also experienced paranormal investigators for over 10 years and have visited the destination we are about to visit multiple times to conduct research, they will guide us through it and most of all keep us safe. We will be going to the Elfin Forest Recreational Reserve which is in San Diego not too far from here. We will be staying in a cabin southwest of Escondido in the forest for the first two weeks then we will hike along the trails into the depts of the Elfin forest and then our investigation shall begin. For those of you who are not aware of the town Escondido, Escondido is a Spanish word which means 'Hidden', which is the only word to describe this town as well as haunted. The Elfin Forest is filled with beautiful hiking trails and unspoiled campgrounds. On the day, everyone will be given a map of the reserve and we all have to stay together as you all may know The Elfin Forest lies one of the most haunted regions in California. There are hundreds, even thousands of stories, legends and sightings of paranormal entities in the Elfin Forest and the surrounding areas. If you all are not aware of the legends and stories that the Elfin Forest holds then I suggest you research it before this internship begins. There is nothing to be afraid of as long as we stick together and we chant our spells before entering the forest suggesting to the paranormal entities that we come in peace and we bring them no harm they will just follow us but not harm us. You will see some things you have never witnessed before or maybe never believed in and maybe meet some people whom you never met before but this will all prepare you for becoming a paranormal investigator in the future. Okay let's put all this fright and work behind, I can assure you that this internship will be fun and exhilarating, it will be an adventure that you will never forget. The 10 of us will all be friends and be each other's company. We will share secrets, make jokes, play games and most of all enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Elfin Forest.'' Ms. Wilber notifies with a smile.
''Okay everyone so as you all may my name is Mr. Miller one of you other leaders for this tour. This internship will begin on Monday 24th June exactly 11 days from now which should give you enough time to prepare for it and it will end on October 24th, this internship will last for four months. For the first 2 weeks, we will be staying in a cabin in Southwest Escondido country, it is close to the forest but not too close, we will be hiking along the trails there, the trails will be listed for you on the map you will be given on the day. We will stay in that cabin for two weeks and get to know each other and explore some nearby trails but we will return to the cabin afterward. After the 2 weeks, we will leave and begin our hike, we will hike up the mountain while exploring the Elfin Forest and its mysteries. This will be a long hike because we will not be just hiking but investigating and stopping off most of the way to look for clues, artifacts, or anything that we could find that will aid us in our research of any paranormal activity. If you come across any paranormal activity or entity just stay calm and do as we say and you will be fine. I have gone to this forest multiple times and have returned safely, you will be terrified as this is your first time witnessing these activities in person and camping out in a haunted forest for 4 months. You will be safe I can promise you that, that is why we are here. After our investigation is done we will hike down the mountains and return to our cabin in Southwest Escondido and stay for the remaining two weeks and calm down ourselves from everything that happened in the last 3 three months. On the day of June 24th, you will be required to meet the group at Palomar Mountain State Park which is a forested area in California. The group will meet there at 12 p.m. and we will drive to Escondido to our cabin. The cabin has 5 bedrooms, a medium-sized cozy living room with a fireplace, a kitchen, a front porch and there is a bathroom in each room. There will be 2 persons per room, of course, both of the same sex. Everyone is required to pack their essentials such as clothes, soap, toothbrush, etc. and also camping supplies, you will be given a list today of all the things you are required to bring with you on this internship. You all will have some free time for yourselves along these four months but you cannot wander too far without informing us'' Mr. Miller informs then steps back next to Mr. Mayer.
''Are there any questions? ask now or forever hold your peace'' Ms. Wilber asks.
''Is everyone okay, does anyone want to decline this internship and back out, if you do please raise your hand'' she adds.
Everyone remains silent and looks on. My subconscious tells me to raise my hand but I ignore her and keep my hand down.
''Great! so we have a full group of ten''
''Well everyone you are in for a terrifying yet exhilarating ride of a lifetime. Remember once the hike starts and we are in the forest there is no backing out, this is your last chance'' Mr. Miller informs.
Everyone moves from their previous position to across the room at the corner where we all have to sign a form saying that we accept this internship and are bearing the risks and dangers that may arise. I am frozen in place as I stare at the ground. I can't do this I'm not ready, I can't camp out in the Elfin forest for three months, that's insane. I was relieved to hear that we get to stay in a comfortable cabin for the first 2 weeks and the last 2 weeks which leaves us three months in that forest. This does sound terrifying but I have a good feeling about it. I decide to make a Pros and cons list in my head. PROs: by staying out there for four months, I will feel more like an adult and be independent. 2. I will gain a lot of knowledge and experience that will benefit me in the future when I become a paranormal investigator and 3. Although this sounds horrifying, I have a good feeling about it. CONs 1. I may die.... or maybe not. I mean they did say that they will keep us safe and also that they've been there multiple times and are here today perfectly fine. You know what, I'll do it, something's telling me to go for it, this is an opportunity that will never come again. I didn't apply for it but I got it anyway and it's mine.
Who knows what I'll see or who I'll meet along this horrific journey, they may even change my life.
''Are you coming?'' Kate asks me.
''Yeah''
We make our way to the table and we are each given a form to sign that we accept this internship along with its dangers. Kate gives me a quick smile before signing. We both sign, collect our list of things we have to bring on the trip, and the map of Escondido and make our way out the door and across the hall and into the elevator.
''Hey I'm just as scared as you are, but at least we'll have each other so I guess it won't be too bad'' she says and smiles at me as we make our way into the elevator.
''Yeah, I hope it's not too bad'' I say as the elevator reaches the 4th floor.
''I hope we can be friends, you seem like a really nice girl'' she says.
''I hope so too because I don't know anyone in there besides you'' I reply.
'' Me too, well I guess I'll see you on June 24th then'' she says and waves bye as she exits the building and walks to what looks like her mom's car.
I wave her off and check my watch, it's now 3:30 and I notice Nelson's car parked in the carpark at the front, I make my way down the stairs of the building and to the car. I have no idea how I'm gonna explain any of this to them but all I know is that it won't end well.

Now it was J-Hope's turn to select their third adventure. J-Hope invites everyone at his home. Everyone gather at J-hopes place.


"guys , from our first adventure i found out true meaning of adventure. It says fight our fear. So this time I wants to select a different kind of adventure . truly to fight my fear. I gave lot of thinking to it already and I wants to choose visiting a haunted place and stay over their whole night." J-Hope present his thought and next adventure in his mind  in-front of everyone. 

"Are you really in your right state of mind? It was totally unexpected from you." V surprisingly asked to J-Hope

"I know , I am the one who is scared cat in our whole group.But I wants to fight for my fear regarding ghosts." J-Hope replied to V.

" When it comes to ghost, I am scared cat too." Jimin replied to J-Hope in shocking tone

"There is no ghost like things in the world. So there is no reason to scare. I am in, to overcome your fear J-hope and now Jimin yours too. Suga confidently said to everyone.

"Right there is no real ghost. It was just a creature of human mind." Jin added his thoughts.

"I am agree with J-hope. Lets help him to overcome his fear." Namjoon cleared his thoughts and added his vote in yes favor.

"I am also agree with this . It sounds great. It gonna be a different experience for us. Last two adventure was adventure sport. I am ready for this new kind of adventure." Jungkook cleared his thoughts on visiting haunted place.

"Okay, lets say everyone is in favor of this adventure. Which haunted place we gonna choose?" Jimin asked J-hope.

"I am looking for it. I didn't come up with one until today, I will let you know tomorrow." J-hope answered Jimin's question.

"Don't choose any random place. We must feel thrill on this adventure." V commented to J-Hope.

"Actually the place in my mind is Asia's most haunted place 'Bhangarh fort'. But we needs some permissions from authorities. It was difficult to handle." J-hope replied back to V.

"Do you want me to die that early? or all of you try to kidding me" Jimin asked everyone without wasting any second.

"If everyone is ready for this  adventure I will manage every difficulties." Namjoon questions to everyone and willing to help with permission granting. 

Finally everyone agreed to visit haunted place and stay whole night over there. As Namjoon is an advertising company's CEO he got authorities permission by tricking them . He come up with a idea of filming documentary on Bhangarh fort.

On the last weekend of march, they went for their third adventure at Bhangarh fort. To make their excuse realistic Namjoon made sure bring all necessities for documentary shooting.

When they reached at Bhangarh, it was already 5;00 PM. After sunset no-one dares to stay at Bhangarh fort. So visitors already stared their way back from Bhangarh fort.
 
Bhangarh fort is noted as haunted place just because some people says they feels paranormal activities over there. It was a saying that there was spirits of Queen of Bhangarh Ratnawati and a Tantrik ( a devil magician).

Fort's main gate always closed at 6:00 PM. Just because they had permissions no-one dares to stop them. They entered through the main gate of fort. Sun was about to set. Its already 6:00 PM. They already gave one round around fort.

As they brought camera's with them, they decided to shoot videos of their every activity on fort. Now the sun is already set and time was about 7:00 PM. Moon shines bright in sky. Bhangarh already started to give different aura. Bhangarh looks different in daylight and now it gives scaring aura everywhere at night.

Jimin got nervous and more scared he ashed in scared tone, "What if we happened to see any ghost today? does anyone know how to get rid of ghosts."

"I did some research on internet but they seems pointless." J-hope answered to Jimin. He also looks pale and more scared than Jimin.

Suga started kidding J-hope and Jimin, "Oh! I know. I read in 'Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets'. When almost headless Nick ( Gryfindor ghost) becomes statue in corridor they used fanning to move him from corridor. You two just have to blow air by your mouth when you happened to see any ghost."

Everyone started laughing at Suga's answer.

"Okay, everyone listen first fill our stomach after that we will see what to do next and where to go." Namjoon offers everyone packed food.

Soon after they started eating someone suddenly snatched food from Jin's hand. Everyone got scared. 
Jin shouted loudly, "AAAAaaaaa" 

"What was that? Who snatched it from my hand? Is that any animal?" Jin asked surprisingly.

"I also think it was an animal." V gives answer who was little bit shocked too.

Jimin and J-Hope got scared a lot. They heard some sound coming from their right side. They gradually move towards the sound source. J-hope holds Namjoon's hand and Jimin holds jungkook tightly. They found out the source of sound. It was nothing but two monkeys were fighting over food. 

"Look J-Hope and Jimin. We found our first ghost today. Don't you think hese ghosts are familiar? one is you and another one is your younger brother Jimin." Jungkook find a reason to kidding J-hope and Jimin.

"And that younger brother is you Jungkook." Jimin gives shortest but perfect reply to Jungkook.

"As I say there is no ghosts in the world these are only humans minds creature. There is nothing weird here. To overcome your fear we reveled it for you and there were just animals who snatched my food."Jin said to lessen their fear and try to say there is no reason to get scare here.

" Lets reveled everything from which anyone gets fear. Try to show the world that it is only a myth. okay friends." V cleared his thoughts and hold camera straight to capture more and more proofs.

After 12:00 AM. They gives one round around whole demolished Bhangarh's market and other places around the main Bhangarh palace.

"Guys lets go towards that pool I heard it was famous for paranormal activities." Suga directed everyone to the pool.

When they reached at the pool there was board showing 'Do not enter. Water is poisonous. lots of poisonous  insects present here.'
" So it was the main reason. Peoples always makes ridiculous stories over something like that. It might be only for prevent peoples from these poisonous insects and water." Namjoon presents his thought.

"It was already 1;30 am . And there is nothing weird . We neither saw any paranormal activity nor any ghost. Whys does people scared others for no reason?" Suga complaining peoples who makes ridiculous stories on ghosts.

" Lets enter into the fort rooms lets see if we find anything." Jin suggested.

As they enters into the forts one room. something  approaches to them. It was in countless of numbers. Everyone runs outside of the room.

"what was that? Did anyone see what was that?" Jin asked while holding his breath.

"Is that ghosts doing ? I don't know what was that but I feels it was a small thing in numbers." J-Hope replied fast. He almost stop his breathing.

"OH! Stop it. There was no ghost. I was the first one  who enters. I had torch I flashed it on roofs part of room. so bats resting over there hates bright light so they were flying out from room to get rid of light." Jungkook clears everything to them showing real fact what he saw.

"Now they lessen the brightness of torch and enters into the room again. Room was totally empty. only thing present over there was some bats on roof.

" Guys today we saw our second ghost. It was no other than Mr. Bat." Jungkook come up with a small joke.

"Stop it jungkook. I was so scared that time. If you guys were not with me today I might run from here to my home." Jimin replied to Jungkook's joke

"I almost drop my heart today. I don't even know what I am doing." J-Hope replied to Jungkook to stop teasing.

One by one they visit every room including Queen Ratnavati's room. There is not a single sign of ghosts or any paranormal activity. It was already 3:30 AM . now they again back to outer side of Bhangarh. They only heard the voices of wild animals because surrounding area around Bhangarh is a forest. It was already 4:30 AM. They visits every place on Bhangarh fort. They decided for one more round around fort and corridor of fort. They just got to see some monkeys, peacocks , bats and wild animals voices from forests.

Now its already 6:00 AM. Main entrance opened for visitors. they started discussion on whole night experience. V records their discussion one by one.

"Firstly i was so scared but as the time goes by i become stronger to fight my fear and become more confident that there is no ghosts across the world" J-Hope becomes more satisfied because whole night make him stronger and gives his thoughts on todays experience.

" Its for me too. Now I am ready to visit most haunted place in the world." Jimin also feels he won whole world today. 

" horror stories are always good to read and watch. Just because peoples takes interests in horror stories some people links someone or someplaces to horror stories and try to scare Innocent  people." Jin cleard his thought.

" I agree with you. Just like this place. This place is so much beautiful. instead of ghost we found some monkeys, bats and some wild animals voices from forests." Suga commented on Jins thought.

" I think story might be to protect peoples from wild animals. Nothing more than that" Namjoon added his little bit thoughts.

" This journey becomes successful to overcome J-hope's and Jimin's fear. What we want from this adventure we already got that." Jungkook makes final statement.

Now everyone was tired because of walking a lot and not able to sleep whole night. They made their way back to hotel they booked. And the one night stay at haunted place ends here.

Seven friends Namjoon, Seokjin, Suga, J-Hope, V, Jimin, and Jungkook are busy in their normal working life. One day on V's birthday they recalled their memories from school days. How they causes problems , pulling pranks on others, naughtiness all those were beyond the limits.
everyone wants to recall those days with lots of fun and enjoyment. this  time they decided to do something BEYOND THE SCENE. They decided to do some ADVENTURE in life. Lets travel to see what they going to had in their adventurous journey.
