'Master? Zone?'

Eu Jin was about to ask more questions but Ye Han struggled to get up. Although his wounds are mostly cured, he is still feeling some of the aftereffects of the battle. His sore muscles and strained inner organs are just simply yelling at him to stay still. However, he seems to be too focused on something that he ignored what his body is telling him to do.

"I need to go back. I need to tell everyone that the monster is stronger than we thought.", Ye Han muttered to himself as if he was crazed. His eyes were glazed over with worry and panic.

"Hey, calm down!", Eu Jin slapped him in the back to bring him back to reality. "The sun's about to go down. No matter how hurried you are, you should treasure the life that I saved. If you go when it's dark, it will be dangerous for you. Moreover, I just barely got away from the beast that attacked you earlier. It is still out there, you know. It is better to leave tomorrow."

With his words, Ye Han finally calmed down. Indeed, it will just be suicide if he were to go now when it is about to get dark. 

"I'm sorry.", Ye Han bowed his head in apology. "And thank you for saving my life. In my moment of panic, I forgot to express my gratitude first."

"Don't mention it.", Eu Jin smilingly said. "Instead, it's better for us to find food and shelter for the night. I'm hungry."

"You don't have a place to stay?", Ye Han scrunched up his brows. Only then did he notice that they were in an open space. Moreover, there isn't a single soul aside from the two of them there.

"Nope.", Eu Jin said. "I just arrived here so I don't have a place to stay nor food to eat."

"Is that so?", Ye Han still can't believe what he heard. After all, in the current world, who would be able to survive without a place of shelter? However, he soon remembered that this was the person who saved him from the level 3 horned wolf. If he was as strong as or stronger than that mad beast, then it shouldn't be impossible for him to survive all this time.

"Well…", Ye Han looked around to try to get a feel on where they are. "I think we are still on a dead zone. It's a miracle we haven't encountered a monster while we are here."

"Dead zone? What's that?"

"Huh?", the boy turned towards Eu Jin in utter disbelief. "You don't know what a dead zone is?"

"I-I'm not quite too sure about that.", Eu Jin replied honestly. There is no point in trying to hide this fact nor pretend so, although reluctant, he gave himself away. Besides, seeing how the boy wanted to go and warn his companions about the strong wolf, Eu Jin had a feeling that he is a good person.

Ye Han looked at him closely, as if examining what kind of person Eu Jin is before answering. "The dead zone are those areas that humanity has not claimed back. It is usually teeming with monsters that are difficult to kill. We have to set up a team of high-leveled ability holders to reclaim a dead zone."

"I don't understand, though.", Eu Jin tilted his head in contemplation. "Why and since when did dead zone appear in this world?"

"Huh?", for the nth time that day, Ye Han was surprised at how disjointed from reality Eu Jin is. "Isn't it because it's the apocalypse already?"

Due to his master, Eu Jin lived his entire life enclosed in a magical space where he worked day in and day out to make potions. He had never talked to anyone nor had he seen anyone apart from his master. After who knows how long, the seal to the magical space was broken by an unknown force, allowing Eu Jin to escape and see the world beyond his space.

However, why is everything disorderly and in ruins? There were trees, buildings, soil, and sky - but why are there blood everywhere as well?

“It’s the apocalypse.”, the boy he saved said to him.

Everyone was surprised how knowledgeable the man is regarding the mist. They are afraid to get close to the mysterious mist as they are not aware of what it can really do. All they know is, Shadows' strength multiplies thanks to this mist while it weakens them. The Divine Lord crosses his arms as he holds his chin to think.

"Do you have samples of this Mist?" he inquired.

The man called Roswald gulps. Of course, he has a couple of vials of the said mist. They are using it for their thievery after all. He was hesitating to disclose it but decided to give up and hands over the vials. If he wanted to turn in a good leaf, it is better, to be honest about its existence. If Mystic Spirit fall, they will again end up homeless.

"Yes, my Lord. Please put it into good use." he pulled the vials from his pouch and decided to hand it over to the aide.

"How did you manage to gather the mist?" the Holy Guardian Lord Vermilion inquired. She is surprised they can gather it since they look pretty powerless.

"There is this herb we used to cultivate in our farms, and I am not sure if that plant exists here. It is called Butterfly Blossoms. It comes in three different variations— The white ones repels the effect of the mist. Blue ones are used for antidotes." he disclosed. He paused, wondering if he should include the last variant and continued hesitantly, "Red ones are aphrodisiacs…"

The Lords almost cough when they heard the last variant's use. He might not have other meaning in his words for disclosing it to them, but they can't help thinking otherwise. 

The men made a mental note of the information. The two ladies shook their heads as they look at the males' expressions. They are obviously thinking of something inappropriate.

"I am not really sure if we have it here. Can you bring some over here?" the Holy Guardian Lord Tiger inquired.

"It's a common plant in Celesea. We can gather and cultivate it here. We just need constant watering. Those plants are water-hungry after all." the Leader informs them. 

"We entrust this task to you. Do you need anything else aside from a place to cultivate these flowers?" the Divine Lord spoke as he inquired.

"No, my Lord. We can gather it and bring it here. There is a meadow nearby the border we can gather the blossoms. I'll leave some men to prepare the fields. We can divide the task among ourselves." The leader said as he discloses his plan.

"Okay, I'll send someone who can help you with watering. As you know, Mystic Spirit doesn't have rains as much as in Celesea." the Divine Lord stood up as he exits the room while the other Lords follows them.

They are surprised how smoothly everything went. They heave a sigh of relief after the conversation, as they are nervous about making any mistake. They don't want to offend the Lords of Mystic Spirit in any way.

The aide came back a few moments after and escorted them out of the palace. He hands over a scroll regarding their assignments. They are granted a field to cultivate and where they can build their homes and settle down. They didn't expect everything to turn out like that. They seem blessed, indeed.

The Leader Roswald divided his men to scouts, those who will gather Butterfly Blossoms and who will tend the field. They are all willing to take whatever assignment that was given to them, as they enthusiastically disperse to their assigned jobs.

 Meanwhile, the Divine Lord went straight to his room to read Eu's letter in private. He was outraged when she left, and she didn't even inform him. He can't help being insecure.

When he received the scroll, there is a fluttering bubbly feeling he can't explain. He wants to run out of the room and check the letter immediately. His anger quickly disperses as if it never existed.

'Brother Ravi, by the time you are reading this, I am probably nearing the Middle Realm. Don't be mad. There are things I need to do here that I cannot disclose. You probably doubt yourself too. Please don't. I always believe in you, so believe in yourself. I trust you will understand me, so I am not saying anything for now. It's not time to tell you. All you need to know right now is my feelings. When the time comes, I will tell you everything… You will give me time, right?'

'I sent people to help you counter the mist. They might look dubious, but they are trustworthy. They are knowledgeable in herbs, and they have encountered the mist. I trust you will use your good judgment.'

'Don't worry, because I am safe. Do you really think I am that weak? I'll be back before you know it. Do your best in your end… I am more worried about you, so don't travel alone and take care of yourself. —Eu' 

After reading the letter, he can't help forming a gentle smile on his lips as he let out a heavy sigh. He doesn't know what to feel as he decided to trust her. He does need to believe himself and trust her. 

"Trust. You have to trust me too. I want to support you…" he murmured to himself as he looks on his hand and stares at his dragon ring.

He knew the girl might have seen things that cannot be disclosed to anyone. It is probably best not to insist and force her to say anything regarding it. He just hopes that she is not doing anything dangerous.

Meanwhile, where Eu and Lumina finally reached the outskirts of the border of Celesea and the Middle Realm. The Border and headquarters of the Knightdom of Rossenkruez is a fortress with huge steel doors. She has a headache thinking, how can she pass the sludge monster blocking the way.

The sludge monster looks made of tar with glowing yellow eyes. He stands as tall as the trees as he leans helplessly on them. He sounded whimpering than growling. Eu creases her brows as she observes the creature.

'He looks pretty harmless. Aside from the way he looks, I don't think he is hostile at all.' Eu said as she converses with Lumina telepathically. 

'Do you still have no contact inside?' Lumina inquired. They need to know what 

'I tried a while ago, but there is still no response. How about you?' Eu inquired.

'I can't reach anyone aside from you.' 

'So, I think we are on our own then. How do you expect to understand this creature? He looks really distressed…' Eu can't help sighing on the situation.

'Let me try.' 

Lumina dashes out and position herself somewhere she is visible. The Monster was startled of her sudden appearance, and he can't help staring at the majestic looking beast. Just looking at her is mesmerizing. She closes her crystal blue eyes and cast Moonlight Purifying Spell. 

If they failed to purify the monster, she could get the attention of the knights or even the witches. Her spells and skills are unique and exclusive to her, after all. She is hoping they are paying attention.

The moonlight purifying spell created a bright warm light as it suppresses the monster. The power surge she has created surely got the attention of both knights and witches, as the Divine Witch Circe quickly rushes into the border.

She can recognize Lumina's spells anywhere. Replicating them is close to impossible. She was surprised to see Lumina there and can assume that the girl is not far behind.

The leader of the knights is there too. He is curious who is creating a disturbance outside. He was standing on top of the border with the Divine Witch and recognized the majestic beast. He was startled to see the magnificent creature who hasn't shown herself for a very long time.

"Isn't that Lady Lumina?" the Lord of the Knights inquired.

"Yes. I can vouch that you are not seeing things right now. That is definitely Lumina." the Divine Witch Circe responded nonchalantly.

"We should stop her. That beast can't be defeated by magic." the Lord of the Knights said. He sounded troubled.

"Why is Lumina even using a purifying spell? Don't you find it strange?" the Divine Witch points out. Not long, her communication device glowed as she received a message from Eu.

"Divine Witch… Do you hear me?" 

"Little One. What are you doing here?" 

"The monster is not hostile. It's contaminated physically, but his consciousness is still clear. Do you happen to lost someone? Anyone? We need her to purify him…" 

"Okay, wait. I'll come out. Let us talk."

The Divine Witch Circe requested the Lord of the Knights of Rossenkruez to open the doors for her. Much to her surprise, the Lord of the Knights also gave his assistance. He summoned and ordered the White Magic Knights Unit to help them out.

After doing this, he looks at Icarus, trying to see what the other party is going to do
Realizing this, Icarus decides to use this opportunity to leave
"Now that you guys have accepted my gift, I think it would be better for me to go and do my stuff. Maybe I'll show up later!"

Se para um adulto difícil compreender minhas escolhas, imagina para uma criança.
Teddy, me vê pula em meu colo, começa me contar seu dia, que aprendeu os números na escolinha, me coloca a par absolutamente de tudo que fez, amo esses momentos com meu filho, depois de ouvir tudo que ele tinha para me contar Julian volta para sala.
- Teddy? Hora do banho rapazinho.
- Já tomei mamãe.
- Cascão, você brincou muito hoje, está suado precisa de outro banho, então agora vamos garotão.
- Não que outo banho. - Teddy diz, eu começo rir.
- Vamos cascão, eu vou de dar banho.
- Depois me conta uma historinha de heróis?
- Só depois do banho.
Subimos para banheiro do meu quarto, dou um banho no Teddy, ajudou colocar outro pijama e a escovar os dentes, assim que eu depósito na cama, Julian entra no quarto com copo de leite em mãos, depois que ele toma conteúdo, ele olha para mim com uma carinha séria.
- Papai começa contar a historinha.
- Que herói você vai querer ouvir? - Ele coloca dedinho no queixo como se tivesse pensando em que responder.

Entro no banho, para relaxar pouco, logo depois começo me secar, colo cueca box, calca de moletom preta, começo secar meus cabelos, assim que termino eu vejo Julian, sair correndo indo para banheiro, vou atrás e a vejo colocar tudo para fora, me ajoelho do seu lado e seguro seus cabelos, e a deixo despejar conteúdo do seu estomago na privada, ajudo levantar, ela começa escovar os dentes, logo joga água em seu rosto.
- Sente melhor?
- Sim, obrigado por me ajudar.

A vida como grande onda e nunca sabemos que direção ela irá nós levar! Si pudemos seguir a maré ou deixar medo nós predominar... Há muito tempo atrás decidir estar pronto para qualquer infelicidade que poderia ocorrer, por não saber o que maré guarda para nosso futuro... Resolvi que era hora de seguir fluxo da vida. Não esperar a onda que pode ruir muro da esperança, principalmente abalar minha fé. Essa é a decisão que muitos têm medo tomar, mas o que não sabem é que somente estão adianto o inevitável. Somos mais fortes do que julgamos ser.

"I thought you wanted us to help select something?", Key asked confused.

"Well, we changed our mind.", Yevina retorted, sounding unreasonable, but then explained, "We want it to be a surprise."

"I can assure you that it will be a pleasant one.", Cait chimed in as well.

"Great. Then if there is nothing else, how about we go home? And if you like you could come with us and we can eat dinner together. I'm sure Jane would be happy.", Ivan asked, with the second question being directed toward Key and Yevina. 

They simply looked at each other and then Yevina agreed, "Sure, that would be great. I'm really looking forward to meeting her. After all, she will be my niece soon."

"So you are planning to marry soon?"

"Yes. It will be at the beginning of the next year."


When they were getting ready to leave, Ivan turned towards Cait and pulled out the only Blood Essence Crystal he had. It was from a weak snake, that he had fought back then when he had gone on an adventure in the wilderness. 

"Could you maybe tell me how much this is worth?"

"Hm, a low-grade Bood Essence Crystal. If not for the monster being so weak, it would be worth a lot. But the energy content is only at about 20 nEU.", Cait said after inspecting it. It seemed she was no stranger to those crystals. "Still, since it has a great usage as a catalyst during pill refining it is still worth about 50 nEU."

Although 50 nEu didn't seem like that much, in fact, it was a lot for Ivan. With around 1 billion gold for one EU, 50 nEU still meant 50 thousand gold. 

"Wow, that's a lot more than I expected.", he exclaimed.

"Well, they contain nearly all the energy of the monster it is from. And a lot of its price comes from the fact that it can help pills, of the same grade, achieve higher quality.", Cait explained.

If not for it dropping only rarely and him needing the crystals to increase his strength, they could make a great source of income for Ivan. And even so, he could still sell them if need be, which was great news for him.

"If you get more of them, you shouldn't sell them for gold.", Cait advised him.

"Why? Isn't it the same if I sell them ore use them?"

Seeing his unimpressed reaction, Cait asked him in agitation, "Do you even know what this means?"

He shook his head. To him, it seemed like just any other bank account, but judging by her reaction there should be something more to it.

"It is the only known bank card, that can be used with just about any payment method. And you can even exchange between them. And the status connected with it is immense as well. 
In many stores, it would work the same way as a VIP card, because it is only given to people, that are either very rich or whom the system expects to become rich. At least that is what research has been shown. In reality, nobody knows for sure.", she explained. She then continued with teaching him how to use it, "Put the Blood Essence Crystal beside the card and imagine it being absorbed."

He followed her words and a screen popped up, asking him if he wants to deposit the crystal in his bank account. It also displayed the energy the crystal contained at 20 mEU. 

"Seems like it is better not to deposit those crystals.", he commented. 

"Yes. Since their value doesn't just come from the energy contained in them.", Cait agreed, before continuing, "But if you want to get Energy Crystals, you can use this method to exchange them."

"Then is there a benefit of Energy Crystals, compared to Blood Essence Crystals?"

"Yes. The main difference is the ease of use. If you don't have some very special skills, it is impossible to use them besides pill refining. And if they contain enough energy, it would be better to use the energy directly, then using them to create low-grade pills. 
Of course, that only applies to low-grade crystals. If their grade is higher than the point where the energy is more useful is higher as well."

"So the grade doesn't depend on the energy contained in them?"

"No. The grade depends on the skill that is used to form them, which makes those higher than low-grade very rare."

Ivan nodded his understanding. "Thank you for explaining this."

"No problem. I'm just doing my job.", Cait waved away his thanks. "But if you are truly thankful then how about you select me as your attendant as well?"

"Sure. It seems like Celine was very satisfied with your service.", he gestured towards Celine who was talking animatedly with Yevina. 

"It was my honor to have served her.", suddenly Cait's tone changed. When before she had spoken more freely, she now spoke very reserved. Her eyes wandering towards the entrance of the section. 

Ivan turned to check out, what she was looking at and was stunned at the sight.

As he keeps on thinking, he didn't even realize that he had fallen asleep.

When he went to the dining room he saw Yue eating alone.

She recognized him so that he waved back "good morning Eu, come and join me for breakfast"

He smiled to Yue "Yeah, thank you"

Yue faced him "why did you wake up so early?"

Eu replied while his mouth his full of food "Abububub---"

She laugh until she tears of joy "swallow your food first before you speak"

He smile while watching her laugh "I have a training later with sir Ganjo"

She was surprised "whoaaa, i also have my first training with sir Ganjo later, let's finish this first then let's catch him after" 

They were talking, sharing thoughts, talking about the past as they were eating together. When they were done taking their breakfast they headed in their instructor. They both opened the door they were in shocked after seeing Ganjo sitting on the chair, his eyes glazed over at them as he held his wooden sword and repeatedly slapping his palm.

They were nervous and they were just quiet as they walked slowly towards their teacher.

"He looks scary his hair is all white and his eyes looks rugged" he mumbled to himself

He stand and walked towards them "Good morning Yue, Eu, because you are both late i will make you suffer" and when Ganjo got to them he touched their heads. He laughed out loud after seeing the face of their student "Im just kidding, your face looks like you saw a monster" he added while wiping his tears of joy.

They looked at each other and scratched their heads while trying to smile. "he.he.he"

Ganjo looked at them he shouted his student's name "Yue!! Eu!! are you ready to train hard?"

Eu look at his palm and he slowly closed it, he mumbled to himself "this is the beginning"

They both smiled and shout "Yes sir!!!"

They started their training. Ganjo handed them a wooden sword. 

He began to get serious "i want you to make a stance that you are comfortable in, that's where a great assassin start"

Eu and Yue doing lots of weird stance. They are already sweating profusely. 

He is scratching his head "ahhhhh, it's so difficult to make one"

Ganjo walked while swinging his sword "watch me, i will do my favorite form" he bend his knees and he side view, he raised his hand while holding the sword and he put it beside his face.

They were both amazed while watching their teacher doing his form "wooow" they both said 

Yue put her sword in her front, and she step her one foot on the back of her other foot "ahm is it okay, sir?"

Ganjo smiled after seeing her form "yeah good job, how about you, Eu?

He was still confused doing some weird stance "ahhh i can't do it anymore"

Ganjo hold his head "it's okay dont think too much, this is my assignment for you, i will dismiss you early and i want you to make your own form until tomorrow, okay?"

He stared at his sword "uhm"

Ganjo looked at them while smiling "that's all were going to train for today, see you tomorrow" and he run away

Yue vowed her head "thank you sir!!" she looked at Eu "what's the problem?

He is still staring on his sword "nothing"

Yue tapped his shoulder "are you sure? if you really dont have a problem then im leaving you here" 

He waved his hand to her "uhm, good bye"

She smiled and waved back while running away "Bye-byeee"

He walks everywhere and thinking about how to make a stance and he looked at the big pendulum clock on their living room "It's only 12 o'clock in the afternoon" he sighed 

Then someone yelling his name "Eu!! Eu!!"

He turned to see who was calling him "It's you sir Jinro"

He wondered "why did your training end so fast? where's Yue and Ganjo?"

He was thinking "hmmm, Yue goes back to her room and sir Ganjo ahm after dismissing our training, he suddenly run away" he was rubbing his chin "ahm sir, does stance is a big thing to become an assassin?" he asked

He frowned "huh? why did you ask?"

"Ahm, sir Ganjo teach us the importance of stance and he wanted us to make a form in which we were comfortable in, Yue made her own while i am still wandering what's my form is"

His forehead suddenly furrowed "that idiot, he deceived you, the stance was made just to look cool, that's just his reason to leave early"

He was stunned after hearing that "w-w-what? are you serious?" he cried out
