"These are my orders, Cause chaos, Entertain me, Worship me, and Never forget me. Do these and you will not be punished. Well unless you want some punishment." Mistress says with a sly grin that sends a shiver down my nonexistent spine. 
The last curse, One with Death, is a curse that pairs well with my Mistress. This curse makes you unable to die, as you are already dead and is owned by the Mistress of Death, but it also makes the act of reaping souls your food. It makes you unable to survive without killing beings. It basically turned you into Rory from the anime Gate. Ahh, that reminds me of good times. The curse raised my budget of 30000 to 50000. With these 50000 points, I was going to get me some good abilities.

Fang Yu added this part on the deal, since he wanted to do a pure one-by-one fight, so it should be only her and her opponent inside the Mist Room.
Beleth knew that Fang Yu did this just to hide her secret attacks, and he was fine with it. 

After all, he had no choice but to agree, or the deal will be off. Solomon's health was more important compared to the chance of observing Fang Yu.
"Besides, even if I do not know her abilities and even if she defeats Phenex and Beleth, I am still confident that I will win in the end..." Beleth thought smugly as he caressed an object that he held on his right hand.
With this object in his possession, Beleth was sure that any tricks that Fang Yu employs will be all for naught!

Andromalius immediately used these curses on Fang Yu, which she already experienced it before.
"Tsk." Fang Yu tsked as she knew that this time, the curse that Andromalius used was at full power.

"Pant, pant." Fang Yu felt just slightly weakened with the Wrath Flames still inside her. But with the move she used earlier, she was able to restrain the rage induced by the weakened Wrath Flames.
"I can manage with these weak flames inside me now. What I hate is that malediction." Fang Yu thought as she ignored the vitality being absorbed by the Wrath Flames.
With her breakthrough, her Eternal Life and Death Disk managed to gain additional life force inside it. Fang Yu reckons that this additional life force must have come from the upgrade on her cores.

"Malediction of Humility!" A white beam of energy shot out from the hands of Andromalius, which immediately collided towards Fang Yu.
Fang Yu tried to dodge it, but it was as if there were natural laws preventing her from dodging it.

"Let's see you surviving all my curses!" 
The Malediction of Charity was based on the principle of charity, where a person must be generous on helping others.
This malediction will make the target be 'helpful' to Andromalius, literally. This malediction will double the potency of the maledictions and curses that Andromalius cast after it!
This meant that the Curse of Envy and the Malediction of Humility will have their effects doubled!
As for the Curse of Envy, it heavily relies on the envious emotions felt by Andromalius towards his opponent.
The more envious Andromalius was to the target, the more potent and damaging Envy Insects he can produce.
These Envy Insects' goal was just simple, they will just try to devour the target of the curse. The insects will only stop if their time limit was up, or if their target was already eaten.

As for the Malediction of Humility, it was based on the principle of humility, where one has to let go of their pride, arrogance, and aggressiveness.
This malediction was considered as a 'debuffing curse' of Andromalius. Any opponent hit by this will have their physical attributes reduced dramatically. 
The equation for this malediction was:
Power reduction = (10)x(number of unique curses and maledictions used on the opponent excluding the Malediction of Humility)
This means that Fang Yu's  abilities will be weakened by a factor of (10)X(5 curses used on her) or 50 times!
Adding the double potency effect of the Malediction of Charity, and Fang Yu will be weakened by a total of 100 times!
This is the ultimate combo that can be considered to be one of Andromalius' evilest moves, as in a close battle, having your power reduced will be tantamount to a clear disadvantage!
As for its limit, Andromalius can only use the Malediction of Charity and Humility once an hour, so he had to be careful on how he uses it. 
With Fang Yu weakened 100 times, Andromalius was sure that his Envy Insects with their doubled potency will devour Fang Yu easily!
But his expectations went down the drain quickly.

This effect cancelled out the debuff that Andromalius place on Fang Yu.

"What, you think just because you have insects that I cannot have some too?" These ants came from Fang Yu's Golden Rat Emperor ability.
Before she started her assault plan, Fang Yu used her free time earlier to search for some insects that she can use as a template swarm for her Golden Rat Emperor ability.
Luckily for her, she found some Bone-Crushing Ants just flying outside the mansion.
These ants' jaws were so powerful that they can according to rumors, crush bones of a normal human. Fang Yu took an interest in them so she took some of them.
After her breakthrough to the Third Stage, Fang Yu decided to create a swarm of Bone-Crushing Ants while she was rescuing Genie.
Because of the upgrade of her Essence Cores, Fang Yu gained additional abilities as a Golden Rat Emperor.
Now, Fang Yu can make add more mutations and abilities to the swarm the she will create. 
She did this with the bone crushing ants, adding more power to their jaws, making their skin extremely hard, and she also made them extremely ferocious!
Because of all these adjustments, Fang Yu was only able to create around 10 thousand of these ants.
But these ants were enough to eradicate Andromalius' Envy Insects!
After all, the Envy Insects only number around a 3 thousand, which was way less than Fang Yu's swarm.
"No..." In no time at all, Andromalius' Envy Insects were besieged by the Bone-Crushing Ants. 
With their power doubled, each individual Envy Insect can easily kill a Bone-Crushing Ant, but the overwhelming amount of the Bone-Crushing Ants ensured that this advantage ceased to exist.
Fang Yu watched as the two insect swarms were currently stuck in a stalemate.
She slowly walked towards Andromalius, who slowly backed away.
"From what I know, you can only use up to 2 Curses and 3 Maledictions." Fang Yu said as she donned the Three-Headed Khalkotauroi armor, which was also upgraded after her breakthrough.
"You just used all those curses already, so that means you have now way to fight now!" Fang Yu's body suddenly disappeared as she appeared behind Andromalius. She clenched her armor-covered hand as he sent it hurtling towards Andromalius' head.
The space trembled as Fang Yu's armor increased the potency of her punch.
"You forced me to do this!" Andromalius bellowed as his body began to melt. His face looked hideous as it began to distort.
"You are right, I cannot use any abilities right now. If I used one, I will immediately die. But if my death is needed just for Lord Solomon to be healed, then I will gladly die for him!"
"Not good!" Fang Yu thought as she cancelled her punch before jumping away from Andromalius.
The whole Mist Room quaked as Andromalius' black gooey body burst like a bubble.
Fang Yu's sight was covered with this black goo as she heard Andromalius' fading voice.

Hi My name is y/n l/n of the heavens family. 

When l was younger l was unable to see curses which rendered me as the useless and worthless child of the family.
" when l was 8, l still couldn't see any curses so of course l never noticed the curse, suddenly as dad cooked his head, like as if wind, the head was gone. 

At that moment what l saw in front of me was not a human, but a monster.

That night we did a proper burial for father and l was taken in by grandfather since l had finally learned to see curses.

2 years later at the age of 10. This was a trip for the girls. Of we are 10 so we can't be by ourselves we came with our mothers. In the heavens family, every female most follow the rules set by the ancestors and never break them before death. One of those many rules was our purity which must  be as high as possible.

This act went on and on until highschool. 


That is how l met the love of my life !

There was a legend about a race of humans that were quite peculiar. Among the werewolves, trolls, giants and night-lurkers, this particular race was quite special.

They look human, think like humans and have lived since the beginning when the 4 Goddesses created the world. 

They were said to be perfect. Men and women were all beautiful. Weapons did not exist so even the term 'war' was not necessary. They need not eat, hell, they did not feel 'hunger' and their only thirst was to live and prosper as the perfect creation of the Goddesses. They were called The First Children. Well, nowadays they're known as the Fruits of Ambrosia, coined when this legend turned into a children's story called Ambrosia's Garden, written by a woman who claimed to be one of the children.

Everyone knows the story. The three Goddesses created the world with four gifts. Selcah, the gift of life. Seira, the gift of knowledge. Synthia, the gift of love. These three make up the race of Ambrosia's Fruits. Selcah gifted the race with immortality, Seira gave them the ability to learn, adapt and create. Synthia gave them emotion, feelings that the goddesses themselves harbor. 

There was however, an oddity among the children who deviated from her purpose. She was very curious, to the point where she learned to tamper with the world's core to inherit the same powers the goddesses used to create the world and humanity. This alone did not satiate her curiosity, and so she kidnapped the children one by one and created beasts and monsters of different kinds. After displaying the power she obtained, she persuaded the children to rebel against the goddesses to access what they claim to be theirs; magic. With the woman leading them, they destroyed what they have sworn to protect and created more and more monstrosities. 

The goddesses were filled with rage, their own creation turned against them and their gifts were sullied for power. And so, instead of gifts they were given curses. The gift of knowledge turned into the curse of lust. Their conscience shall never again be fulfilled, and they will not find true satisfaction or wholeness in anything ever again. What was once pure is now impure.

The gift of love was given a counterpart; the curse of wickedness. Happiness turned to sadness, joy turned to sorrow. The once simplest of emotions became more complicated to understand, and everything that love is was split and dissected. Now no human being can love another without selfish intent. What was one infallible, was now fallible.

The gift of life became the curse of time. Their lives now finite, they die from even the most mundane reasons. Be it an illness or loss of blood, their lives will perish and what awaits them is nothing. What was once immortal, is now mortal.

The goddesses left the world and its inhabitants, and what was once a beautiful creation turned into a shadow of what it once was. Or, what it was supposed to become. The children procreated and filled the world. They thought that if they were to die, then they must give birth to more to prolong their lives by starting again. The beasts and monstrosities that were created also harbored the gifts along with the curses, and so they followed. 

The curses divided the race even more as languages started to differ, opinions and beliefs deviated and hate took over love.

Long story yes? We're almost finished. There have been a small group that were not affected by the curses and retained their true forms. This race did not deal with witchcraft nor did they partake in the rebellion against the goddesses. They were still pure. And even now they roam the world. 

And that's that. The legend of the world's beginning, that took place in the lands of Ambrosia, home to the greatest kingdoms that have grown in power. Travellers and merchants dream of settling in Ambrosia. Mostly for the sake of wealth and to make a name for themselves. The land of dreams. 

It's such a romanticized view that anyone would believe it. But as I remember the wooden handle of the knife pierced through my brother's nape. My father's body impaled on a spear, burned to a bloody crisp while still gripping the shard of glass he used to slice my mother's neck. I think that's a load of bullshit.

By all means, dream your dreams and live your fantasies but I will not be persuaded by such fancy words that sings the praises of Ambrosia and its wealth. It's filled with wicked men and women who look down on those outside of their kingdoms. Selfish, spoiled, sheltered shitty brats. Tell you what, the goddesses were right to leave this world. 

This world isn't worth saving. It's not worth all the coin and pleasurable company one can ask for. It's not worth all the power that can be drawn from its core. It's not worth the life of my family and my village, burned to the ground, the men taken as slaves and the women as maids to fulfill the desires of the upperclass.

I won't forget that carriage. That crimson red carriage, the same size as my humble home now burnt to nothing. The emblem of a bull's horn wrapped by snakes surrounded by a burning ring. 

I won't forget it, but I can't do anything about it. If I could then I wouldn't be stuck in this prison as a slave, counting the lines I carved in the brick walls with stones and human teeth. Not mine, and I didn't fight anyone either. They're the teeth of the people who were once tortured in this prison. The guards never bothered to clean after all. 

Ah I forgot, today is my execution day. In the end there was absolutely no point in carving those lines, but counting them was oddly satisfying.

"seven hundred.." I faintly whisper to myself as the heavy steps of three guards march to my prison door. 

I've done my sentence, and now I face my ultimate punishment. The penalty for treason is to be whipped 50 times and to be hanged by the noose until dead. If the guards want to have fun they can also whip me as I hang. After all, there are no reservations or mercy for the victim. I'm sure the public will enjoy the sight of me screaming in agony, writhing in pain and struggling to breathe.

I won't give them that satisfaction

In the land of Ambrosia, there was a legend of a race of unkillable humans. Their blood was unlimited and their bodies do not decay. Werebeasts and Night lurkers cannot kill them. The strongest poison do not affect them.

I believed this only to be a child's bedtime story. No knife can pierce your body, no illness can win you over and time is your comrade? Yeah, rubbish. This stems from our inner fear of death, and our inability to accept that our time is finite.

So what happens when one is immortal? Would that person be happy? Lonely? Sad? Maybe even arrogant or ecstatic? I'm figuring that out as well. It's hard to seep into the mind of someone who cannot die. It will forever be a mystery for we who can in fact cease to exist.

but as I stare in to the depths of what's left of the faint color blue in her eyes, sullen and void, a blade deep into her chest as she grips the knife's handle lightly, I might start to understand

"Also, just remember that the Feng Chen Curses can only be used on 'humanoids'. This includes not only humans, but also 'Gods', Demons, Fairies, Dwarves, etc. The Curses can also affect beasts if they're in humanoid form, but not if they go back to their beast form. Got it?"
"Got it." Ling Chen replied. Within Ling Chen's mind, he was considering countless possibilities of how he could use his new skills. This profession from the Feng Chen Sect was much more powerful and terrifying than he could have imagined. With the Feng Chen Technique and Broken Shadow, his escaping abilities would be unparalleled throughout the entire Forgotten Continent, and would be a great complement to his combat abilities. As for the Feng Chen Curses, they were completely useless for farming and levelling up, but to screw over people… they were simply perfect. Ling Chen clearly knew just how powerful his mental energy was. At his current stage, he wasn't too sure about all existences, but he was confident that there was not a single person who could resist his Feng Chen Curses. If someone angered him… heheheh!
But the prerequisite was that he could make it out of this damn place…

With a Comprehension stat of twelve, your Curses will only last for twelve seconds. Moreover, just like other skills, with a higher Comprehension stat, you'll be able to learn more Feng Chen Curses, and have a greater chance at obtaining higher level Feng Chen Curses… for example, the levelled up version of the Complete and Utter Belief Curse is the 'Deity Curse' I tried to use on you before, and the levelled up version of the Lovey Lovey Curse is the 'Love Magnet Curse'… en, once you use the Love Magnet Curse, even if the target has an irreconcilable hatred with you, they'll fall madly in love with you instantly, heheh. Ling Chen took this to heart, and started to ask something he had wanted to ask for a long time, "Senior Xiao, you…"
"Senior? What senior? Didn't I tell you to call me big brother! Big brother!" Xiao Feng Chen once again jumped up and down in fury.
"Err, big brother Xiao," Ling Chen couldn't be bothered arguing with him, "You said that there was something that even the Lunar Sky Hell can't seal. What is it?"
Xiao Feng Chen gave him a blank look, and shrugged, "You still remember that? Well those things can't be sealed even by this damn place. Let alone this place, there's nothing that can seal those things. However, it's pointless to even talk about it- not even me or my master have even seen one after spending many years looking for them. Legend says that there are less than ten of them in the entire Forgotten Continent, and they never stay in the same place as they can move by themselves. Since they try to avoid living creatures, finding one is almost impossible, even for those three from the Moon God Clan. As for you… don't even think about it."
Never in the same place, can move by themselves… this thing seemed very similar to something he had. Ling Chen wouldn't give up, "What is it exactly? Hurry up and tell me- if you don't even tell me what it is, how do you know I don't have it?"
"Cheh, if you have it, then I'll cut off my head for you to use as a toilet!" Xiao Feng Chen smirked, "Alright, alright, it's called… hmm, something like space stone… that's right, Spatial Stone!"
"..."
"Spatial Stone?!?!" Ling Chen was so overjoyed that he almost jumped up. He actually did have a Spatial Stone! It was the one Xiao Hui had found, and he had personally dug out! [TLN: Chapter 232].
"That's right, it seems like you've heard of it before." Ling Chen's reaction caused Xiao Feng Chen to look at him strangely, "Spatial Stones contain the purest spatial energy in existence, and are completely different to methods that use force to open up a space to escape. The spatial energy they contain is able to ignore all barriers and seals, and even though it is normally impossible to escape from a place sealed by the Moon God Clan, it is incredibly easy with a Spatial Stone."
"So you're saying that if we have a Spatial Stone, then we can leave here?" Ling Chen excitedly asked.
"Of course! Using the spatial energy within it, we would be able to be transported somewhere else… as long as we can leave this damn place, no matter where I'm sent, it'll be impossible to trap me… or you."
"Looks like fate is smiling on you." Qi Yue sighed in admiration, "Indeed, if this old guy really knows how to use the Spatial Stone, there is a possibility you two can leave."
Ling Chen immediately took out a plain-looking, fist-sized stone from his bag and showed it to Xiao Feng Chen, "…Big brother Xiao, what do you think this is?"
"Eh?" Xiao Feng Chen looked at the stone, then leapt into the air as if someone had kicked him from behind. His eyes widened to comical proportions, and he shrieked, "SPATIAL STONE!!!"
"That's right, it's a Spatial Stone! The thing that you said that could be used to escape from any place." Ling Chen tightly gripped the Spatial Stone, his heart pounding in excitement. Being trapped in here forever would be terrible. However, it seemed that his luck had really pulled through this time. The thing that Xiao Feng Chen said was almost impossible to obtain was actually in his possession.
"Spatial Stone… Spatial Stone… it really is a Spatial Stone…" Xiao Feng Chen's whole body trembled, and his eyes were misty. He had been locked in there for a whole 1,000 years… this sort of dark, smelly, dangerous place filled with monsters was pretty much a real hell. Ling Chen had no idea how much he had endured in this place, and definitely wouldn't understand just how much this Spatial Stone meant to him… every day he had dreamt a legendary Spatial Stone would fall down from the heavens.
"It really is a Spatial Stone… Spatial Stone…" Xiao Feng Chen continued to mutter to himself. His hands hovered around the stone, as if he was afraid that it would shatter if he touched it. Finally, he rubbed his face and somewhat regained his dignity again. He stared at Ling Chen earnestly, asking, "Ling Tian, how did you get this Spatial Stone?"
"I found it inadvertently while passing through a deserted area. It was about a few days ago." Ling Chen truthfully replied.
Xiao Feng Chen raised his face up to the heavens, and breathed out slowly, "It must be the heavens' will! Could it be that the heavens pity me, and sent someone to finally take me out of this place…"
Seeing Xiao Feng Chen's actions from before, Ling Chen thought that perhaps he had already become accustomed to this sort of life. However, it seemed that this was not the case. In reality, what Xiao Feng Chen dreamt of every day was to see the outside world again. Then again, who in the world would be happy to stay in such a cruel and depressing place…
"Big brother Xiao, can we really leave using the Spatial Stone?" Ling Chen asked.
"Of course… as long as we can use even a tiny bit of its spatial energy, it'll definitely be enough." Xiao Feng Chen said as he vigorously nodded.
Ling Chen gripped the Spatial Stone in his hand. This stone looked incredibly unremarkable from its external appearance, so much that even if it was on the ground on a busy street, no one would even bother to look at it, and yet it was now his only hope, "Is this small piece of Spatial Stone enough…?"
"Small? This is small?" Xiao Feng Chen almost spat at Ling Chen, "You know Spatial Stones are incredibly rare right?! Even a Spatial Stone as small as a grain of rice would be priceless, and would spur countless experts to kill each other over it. This piece of Spatial Stone as big as a fist… its worth is simply immeasurable!"
"Then how do we use the spatial energy stored inside it?" Ling Chen asked. This was the most important question. In the description of the Spatial Stone, it was said that in order to use its spatial energy, one would have to have incredible forging skills- forging skills at a minimum of Heaven's End grade. He definitely wasn't able to use the Spatial Stone, but seeing how ecstatic Xiao Feng Chen looked… could he be a super high-level Blacksmith?
Xiao Feng Chen regained his composure, and replied, "The process is neither complicated nor simple. Spatial Stones contain the purest form of spatial energy. If the spatial energy can be taken out and transferred into another object, incredible Spatial Equipment can be created- both attack and supporting type items. Using the spatial energy to create Transport Equipment can transport us to any place in the Forgotten Continent, even if it's from within the Lunar Sky Hell. However, the prerequisite is having extremely high level forging skills, and it is extremely hard to find a human with such skills. The only ones who are able to create items with the Spatial Stone to perfection are a race that has disappeared for a long time, and has even been thought to have gone extinct- the Dwarves. As for us two, neither of us are able to make such items with the Spatial Stone. However, what we can do is to forcefully extract a bit of the spatial energy within it to create a Spatial Rift, which we can escape through… as for where that Spatial Rift will lead to, who knows? But I'm sure it won't be as bad as the Lunar Sky Hell."
Ling Chen completely understood, and asked, "So how do we forcefully extract some of its spatial energy?"
Xiao Feng Chen looked at Ling Chen liked he was an idiot, "Simple! You hit it! Use your full force to hit it. As long as there is enough force, some of the spatial energy will leak out, and we'll be able to escape! Come, give the Spatial Stone to me. With your tiny bit of strength, I'm sure you won't be able to force out any spatial energy, so let me try first."

Everything that has life has xhole, which means that all living things have the potential to perform what is commonly known as magic. However, all things don't have the same potential for magic. Some creatures are born with more xhole, which literally means "life blood", than others, and these beings can perform stronger magic more easily than those with less xhole. This aptitude for magic is passed genetically. The only other way to gain xhole is to consume another's life force. This is how you got your powers, Jada and it's also the reason magical beings aren't more common place. Creatures with high xhole are rare, and when their xhole is extracted, they die and cannot reproduce.
Plants and fungi that can perform magic are called fairy. Animals that can are called demons. Humans who can perform magic are called many names: witches, warlocks, sorcerers, enchanters, and the list goes on.
Originally, sorcerers, as they're most commonly called these days, all over the world practiced their own kind of magic, following the rules and guidelines of their homelands. But, in the 1400's one group of sorcerers who're now known as the HCSS, High Council of Sorcerers and Sorceresses, decided that they wanted to enforce their morals onto the entire world. So, they placed curses on six certain spells and made it so that when anyone anywhere preformed one of these spell, terrible things would happen to them. Then they put curses on the curses so that if they tried to undo those curses, an even worse fate would fall upon them or anyone that tried to save them. They called this The Magical Law.
The most important thing about The Magical Law, isn't the "law" itself, but the permanent effects it had on Earth, but to understand why that is, we need to know The Magical Law, the curses that went with them, and the allegedly unintended side effects.
Now, for reasons not publicized to the rest of the world, the first and second law are both hidden from the general public, so the list starts at three.
So, The third law: Magic cannot be used to make people fall in love. The fourth law: Magic cannot be used to kill. The fifth law: Magic cannot be used to to make someone immortal. The sixth law: Magic cannot be used to bring people back to life
Who ever attempts to break the third law, to make someone fall in love, will fall deeply in love with everyone they find attractive. When they die, they'll be reborn and each life they will suffer immense loneliness until someone finally loves them back. They are born with all the memories of their past lives and they pass this curse on to every third child.
If someone breaks the fourth law by attempting to kill another human with magic, they will become a beast with no control over themselves one night of each month, on the night of the moon cycle they were under when they tried to set the spell. They will suffer through great physical pain each time they change into this beast. The HCSS claims they they didn't intend for this curse to be as contagious as rabies or for it to grant beast-like super smell, speed, strength and hearing.
If they were to try to break the fifth law to make themselves or another immortal, (and I'll quote this one word for word,) "They will die, then walk the earth among the living, hiding in the shadows, because the sun will burn their flesh, until they die a second time." However, the cursed were able to sustain their undead bodies by drinking the blood of the living, indefinitely, pretty much giving them the immortality they wanted to begin with. They gained inhuman senses, strength and speed, and often develop telepathic abilities. On top of that, they were be able to pass this curse through blood ingestion.
And finally, we come to the sixth curse, the one you're least likely to encounter but it's important to drill this one in to new sorcerers. If you try to bring back your loved one, or any person who's already dead, the dead body will rise, eat you alive, then die again. If you escape, your loved ones animated corpse will attack and eat people at random until they find and consume you, or they are either dismembered, burned to ash or both.
Sorry, that was incredibly boring. But bare with me, we're getting to the point.
Essentially, the Magical Law, and by extension the HCSS, created what you know as yortsi, werewolves, vampires, even zombies. Since then, groups like OWRA, (the Old World Restoration Association), The Restoration Army, Saviors of the New World, Champions of the Old World, started popping up all over the world with the goal of "restoring the world to the way it should be" or "restoring earth back to the humans," all that kind of talk. So we, the cursed, have each found ways to hide among humans.
Historically, vampire's have used dummy towns with a human figure head to disguise a large network of vampires, usually run buy a King or Queen who is the sire of every vampire in the region. The city we're in right now was once one of those dummy towns. But it was slightly different. Everyone in the magical world new about it, because Empress, the queen, had no reason to hide. She and Moniasili, the oldest, most powerful fairy on record, considered each other kindred spirits, and formed an unprecedented alliance. Moniasili kept vampire hunters out with her barrier. And the queen grew in strength as her number of subjects increased. At one point she was nearly invincible.
Once I was the favorite of her favorites favorites favorite, (sorry if that's a little confusing) and that won me a place in her entourage. I wanted out of her sect, so I stole the xhole from Moniasili's children, and used it to perform a spell that put them to sleep. For that, Moniasili banned me, and, out of bitterness, she allowed everyone else but me, in. Many restorativists took advantage of that and eventually eliminated it's vampire population. Empress is among the dormant vampires in the town, and when she wakes up to find all her children dead, she will turn the humans here, rebuilding her empire the quickest possible way. She and her associates don't discriminate either. Men, women, children, witches, if you can be turned you will become hers.

Jada, an average highschooler, came on vacation. Etta, an unusual vampire came with a goal. For no true reason, their paths cross and as a result, their lives, (and unlives) are changed forever. As they fall deeper and deeper into the unknown: admiration and mysticism, they are forced to become things that they never knew they could.

Warlocks needed to make signs with their hands to cast curses, and it was merely a subconscious reaction to make a judgment call and complete the hand signs at the same time.
Only one percent of the population in the entire empire could accomplish that feat.
Yang Xi quickly recovered his stance from his failed attempt, but Shen Yanxiao had no intention to give up on such an excellent opportunity. She immediately cast several singular curses on herself, and her petite figure flickered left and right around the stage. Before the spectators had time to react, she had already approached Yang Xi.
Yang Xi reacted to her movements calmly as he swiftly slammed his spear against the ground. He took advantage of the knockback to retreat the moment Shen Yanxiao approached him.
The distance between them had increased once again!
A Knight's long spear had a wide attack range, and Yang Xi relied on that advantage to launch continuous attacks on Shen Yanxiao, and he aimed at her vitals.
Shen Yanxiao was quick to react, but no one could see the number of curses that she had cast. She managed to dodge the torrent of attacks before she immediately countered them.
The two contestants had an intense fight on the stage, and all the spectators were attracted by the dust and smoke caused by their match.
They were so focused on the exciting battle that they no longer cared about their disdain for Warlocks.
"That's how Warlocks cast curses? It's so cool, and her speed is simply incredible!"
"That little girl's response is too terrifying! How did she manage to dodge those attacks?"
"A Warlock could even cast beneficial curses on themselves? Aren't all curses meant to cause detrimental effects?"
"Oh, oh! Yang Xi has been hit!"
All the spectators were battle maniacs, and they would always love a good fight. When they saw Shen Yanxiao's godlike casting skills, they were completely enamored by her hands' speed.
