KYLE'S POV

Another week passed by and there was still no change in Maya's condition. It's like her mind and body had gone into hibernation. Dr. Morrison deduced that she was probably, suffering from emotional trauma, and she had withdrawn into the coma as a protective mechanism. She didn't want to come back to the real world because she didn't want to face reality or to deal with her grief. 

Try as we might we couldn't bring her back. 

The children visited every day and took turns reading to her or just talking to her, but she didn't even blink or twitch to acknowledge their presence. 

"We'll just have to wait it out," Dr. Morrison advised as he did his routine check-up that afternoon. "There's nothing more we can do I'm afraid."

"The waiting s driving me crazy Doc," I balked as I resumed my position at her bedside. 

"While I sympathize with you, that's all we can do right now, I'm afraid." He frowned his expression every bit as serious as mine. "I'll see you later." He patted me on the shoulder and left.

I hopped onto the bed and lay next to my wife, my hand on her midsection. "Come back, babe... I need you. We all need you, Maya," I whispered to her. "I can't do this without my love. Please wake up and come back to me..."  The monitor began to beep and I turned his attention to the screen. "I know that you're hurting babe... I know that you can never get over what happened to Rita and your parents-and I know you think it's your fault-you must be blaming yourself... but you had no control over what happened. None of us did babe." I traced the outline of her cheekbones, trying to get through to her somehow. "Don't give up Maya-we still need you. Our best days are still ahead of us babe, so, if you can hear me, please come back my love...please? I'm begging you-and you know that I haven't asked for a lot from you babe-come back to me...that's all I'm asking-just come back, babe..." I rested my head on her shoulder and cried. Just when I thought I had no more tears to cry, they slid down my face involuntarily. 

I heard a shuffle of feet as someone entered the room but I never bothered checking who it was. I just felt a big, firm hand rubbing my back. 

"It's going to be okay son," my father consoled me in low and soothing tones. "She's going to be okay. You just have to believe that."

My breath caught and it took effort to force out a response. "I just want her back Dad..." I said in a choked voice. "Is that asking for too much?" I muttered, with a sniffle.

"No son, you're not asking for a lot."  He replied. My heart contracted at those simple words.

"I'd give anything to have her back. I'd even give my own life-if only she-would-" I broke down again. 

"I know son. So would I," he said in a calm, sincere voice. I knew that he meant it. 

"I'm sorry to disturb sir," Robert towered at the door. "But the Governor of Texas is here. He'd like to offer his condolences and check on Mrs K-" 

"I'm not in state to see anyone, Robert. Please offer my apologies," I said, not moving from my current position. 

"Of cos Sir." Robert nodded.

"Wait-let me have a word with him rather," Lorenzo offered. "He's an old friend. Maybe if he hears it from me, it won't seem like a rebuff." 

"Okay," I agreed. 

"I'll be right back," he said before he followed after Robert. 

"I know that you didn't really want to see him right? I addressed my wife. "You don't really like company when you're sick anyway. You prefer to curl up in a ball and ride it out," I let out a short laugh. "But I know that you like it when I sing to you but I'm not in a good place babe. I don't feel much like singing or doing anything really." I took her hand as I leaned forward and brushed my lips lightly against her; imprinting my essence on her sub-consciousness. "I miss you so much Maya... and I love you... and I live for the day that you will open those pretty brown eyes..."

Before I knew it I was singing to her, with her hand clutched in mine and as tears ran down my face, I poured my heart out to the love of my life.

I'm okay if no one reads these because I read these when I'm bored to check for grammar mistakes. This is where love comes in. I love being lonely half the times. :)
Love love. Like in a relationship love, I've never been in. But most of my friends have and some of them hated it. If you're in a good relationship and you both are enjoying it, congratulations. But this is my rant of love so welcome. 
I don't hate love. I hate how people overuse the term love and overuse love in general. Like cheating, go f*** yourself if you're not loyal. If you have the audacity to cheat in a relationship then don't suspect living if I find out. Ik heartbreaks, my friend got clingy after one. I didn't enjoy tears on my shoulder. So if anyone got cheated on and want to kill their ex. Call me. I'm free to 3am to 3:30am. 
Next is how people express it. 1. I hate kisses. They're nasty and I get scared of them. Ik that's how you show someone you love them but ew. I think I have a phobia of kisses.... Maybe not. Just ew. How tf do people enjoy kissing. You're sucking on someone face, how is that enjoyable? Here I am judging when I never kissed anyone.... But like I see it in the hall. It's nasty. I'll be walking to lunch and BAM someone starts kissing in front of me. Yeahhh no, they made me lose my appetite. 
ALMOST LASTLY! Crushes or admirals. I only had ONE crush in my whole life. I liked people but apparently a crush is someone you like like so yeah. I flipping had a crush in kindergarten.... Who knew I had feelings. But fr... Crushes and admirals are chill. Liking someone in the distance is a stalker move but it's amazing. I don't do that but for some reason PEOPLE FIND OUT WHO I LIKE! So yeah. The real problem are those crushes that go all the way out. Liking someone is okay but you stalking them and knowing everything about them isn't the chill I'm talking about. Creativity has it's own box of limits. They just stepped out of it like the weirdo they are. 
Now lastly. The love that I love. The love of an object or topic or whatever. That love is great but then they love can become an addiction. Addictions are good when they're not drugs. My addiction are toes :3. Don't judge. But addictions are just weird. Love to addictions to obsessions. Yup never happened to me.

"I don't need to search for my own happiness, I don't need to show others my pain or tears. Long time ago I didn't want to smile nor listen to the laugh of others. I believed when I met that one person, and that I will be complete with him, that I can fly freely and forget all the worries I had. Even now I am still searching for that someone where I can show my smile and happiness. My flowers hug me each day, just like I hug them. Love should happen to everyone, and we should always wait for the love to happen. We all have different love in our mind. Someone needs to have somebody next to them. There's some people who only need to see others smile and that is enough for them. The family will always be there for me, and they will always know how am I feeling today or how did I felt yesterday. They will ask, they will care, they will hug you. I don't need the part of me where I feel like I lost something or someone lost me. I don't need to think that I was bad to someone, just because someone did something bad to me. I don't need to feel sorry to the people who would stab me in the back. There's many things that I don't need to doing life, but sometimes we do what we hate the most. I hope I will change again, this time I will have to write down what I hate or like, so that I can do better next time. 

We all change, because we were hoping for that change. May the flowers guide me toward the future I'd love to have. May the future be better than it was before. 

We learn to love and to have when we were kids and slowly began to understand life. 

I don't need to run after people who hate me, I don't have to show them my appreciation. 

I only have to be me and me only. I changed many times but I will always love myself. Why not loving myself a little more than before? 

Even if I lost someone, I will met someone else again. I shouldn't be sad, I should be happy that I had memories with them and that we shared our precious time with them. 

I love the memories I had with him, and I hope he thinks the same as me. I'd love to meet more people like him, but I would never like to go through the things I had to go with him. 

I love the happiness I had and the butterflies, everytime I saw him. But I hate the sadness and stress. 

These days I am more focusing on myself, my friends and family. I can now help people in need and have fun with others.

The room went silent until Jessica beat him to talking "I try to be good, and I try to be a better person, but my emotions turn - cold, fearful, anxious... I back away, flee, or strike out at someone who loves me. In moments Like that, I am less proud of who I am, because I cannot be the strong woman I've always wanted to be. Instead, I show the frightened child within, damaged and afraid, the one still hiding in the dark, reliving the terrible past. To not be bullied, I wanted to be the bully. I thought if I yelled and put myself above people, I would never be looked down on, but I've achieved nothing while doing that for so long. No one alive apart from Lijuan likes me, but you claim to love someone that's so horrible. Someone who's tainted to the society. Why? I insulted you! I judged you! I hated you! Someone like me doesn't deserve love after everything I've done and everything I've said to people. I've been living a lie… I've been hiding who I really am. Playing a different persona. So what exactly do you love about me? I don't really make up to any beauty standards, I'm not even that pretty... not as much as Lijuan and I'll never be her equal. All that helps me is the makeup I put on... but that's still not enough to make someone like me!" 


Her eyes became glacier blue under the sheen of water, and steadily, the tear drops streamed down her face as her lower lip quivered. 


Xin walked towards her then wrapped his arms around her as she buried her face into his chest then she asked again, "What is there to love about someone like me?"


"I agree with everything you said about hating me and misjudging me, but I still fell in love with you after I saw a hint of the true nature you were trying to hide. I saw you as someone I wanted to protect, someone I really wanted to understand better, so you were always on my mind. Taking care of you got me so attached, but I don't know if that's exactly when I started to have feelings. Whatever this feeling is and whenever I started having them, a part of me hopes you can have them too. I know nothing about relationships like this, I know nothing about love, but I was envious of the people that could experience it. I even felt horrible whenever I remembered how jealous I was of Wu when he got someone who could love him. But the problem wasn't about someone loving me, it was me loving them back. Now that I am in love, everything is reversed. You don't love me." He sighed, taking a break from saying so many things at once, ceaselessly.


"Well, you don't have to love me. I'm not telling you this because I desperately want you to have the same feelings for me. It's still your choice at the end. Our difference furthers the impossibility of us being together. You're a woman with a degree and you have a four digits or more paying job, I'm a bartender. Someone who does look like a thug. People would never stand the idea of a woman like you with a guy like me. A relationship with you would raise questions, and it wouldn't benefit anyone of us. Especially you. I apologize if you feel pressured to like a guy like me. You definitely don't have to because we're strangers."


He stepped back, then covered his mouth with his hands. That was the longest time he spent without coughing. 


"Do you have the flu? Did you get it from me?"


"Don't worry about it. I'm on prescriptions."


'You're a terrible liar' Jessica knew he was lying about that just to keep her from bothering about him. It just added to her many reasons to feel bad. 


"I guess I've cleared it all up in the way I can. I guess I should say thanks for coming?"


Jessica was quiet as she moved to the door. Her hand was barely on the handle when he spoke his last words to her.


"Don't worry about me because I'm nothing to you or anyone else."

Seven relationships and all were doomed from the start. The same issues and the same outcome, all the girls he loved left him, cheated on him, stabbed him in the back. 

Was he hexed? Was he really the problem? Why did they never last? Chang Wu didn't know. All he knew was that, they were breaking his heart to smaller pieces every time they walked out of his life because he couldn't 'afford' them. 
 
He'd tried everything to the extent everyone called him a simp for women who wouldn't even do half of what he'd done for them. 'Why were all middle class women the same?' Why hadn't he met one that wouldn't push the burden of financial responsibilities on his shoulders. The more he thought of it, the more he bore hate, until he decided to give up on them, and aim for something higher. 


Dating a rich woman was his next step. As impossible as it sounded and difficult to achieve, he thought the woman on the magazine cover that caught his attention would actually love him, not because of money because she already had that. There were problems, he had to live falsely to catch her eye and watch out for potential threats to avoid the truth from getting exposed, but how long would he pretend to be the opposite of what he truly was? How long would he lie? How long would he continue to live in fear? And most importantly, how would he put an end to the facade without getting his dream woman hurt?

.all fall into sleep but he didnt come . .n imperfect doughter, and who dont want doughter god make there doughters perfect. i hate gods.. even god also has enamy inside of him.. that he make someone like me who has more list of imperfections as compared to perfections and someone like just perfect. i hate myself then why dont you? 
even if i try to push you side. i try to hurt you. i try to ignore you try to staps away from you but when i try to get step away from you i get more near to you more fall for you. i try so much but why dont you just hate me why you want me. to brock my heart or, for your love, or to use me? what is your intentions towards me. my heart was pissed, i was afraid to give my remains heart to someone cause if this time my heart get brock i am never ever able to stand i need someone who can fix me with pure love, but then i realise there is no one who deserves someone like me.  so i get cold towards others.. and start hiding my pain my fillings, the real me in a beautiful smile on my face. and saw my family this world only like person who smile, no one care about pain. to control this pain i turned my heart in rock, and get savage, as in your language bad girl, but bad means i am not a person who give fake love. (i just use my heart less it doesn't mean that i am heartless.. there is heart inside, who pump who have fillings. you know words are the most dengerous hurtfull wapon.. who peoples lave those peoples.. actually who my family steb into my heart, but i never ever cry. front of them cause i dont want to show that i am weak.  i cried when i am alone. and really crying alone. really make you hard, and strong enough to hide your pain in a beautiful smile. take example as yesterday.. you know.. we love our family so much.. yes my family is my soul. from behind of cold personality i was always worried and yes i do care about my family more then anything else in this world, so i fight against teachers for my brother.. (yes when i am in collage.. a teacher give him lots of complition and i help him cause next day was submission.  but teacher start scold on him front of him his eyes get teary(how can i see someone hurt my family) i stop her scolding on him and mess with her. (after that next day this get spread about this each and every class its another point and after that her friends or some teachers who are in my class to teach make me suffer from lots of difficulty but i cant see someone scold on me)  so yesterday topic was that i am doing my work. and my dad need my help. but i told them that i need some time to complete my qork then i will help you.. but they get angry on me and said hurahfully that i do on him is just fake love and they dont need my fake love.  it stebed into my heart deep, it means my pure love is fake for you.  after from that my dad started avoid me now. i want to cry but my tears not coming from eyes..did i am really that much heartless or i am really giving them fake love.. did my love is fake, its really hurt me.  i thought there is no love in expressing or obey someone is, and the true love is stand for loved one, get worried for loved one have a care about someone, want to saw loved one always happy and always try make sure that keep your loved one on right line, and never ever leave that loved one alone in any condition, its true love and this all i have for my family but if they think its fake love then fine i am giving my fake love to thrm but why dont they see that i am giving them love. at morning they forget what they said and again start getting happy,  yah i am happy he wasnt avoiding me but somewere in corner of heart this wepon was stebed now also.. and its hurting so much. get back into story just leave the topic) 
i get near to him and take his head on my lap.. (i know i am to hursh and i am guilty about this) he sleep with empty stomach because of me.. but i already take my punishment for what i did and it was that i am also empty stomach, yah why i am crying now?.. i am really bad how can i talk to him like that he didnt rat anything because of me...
