Author here! This fanfic will NEVER have a synopsis, don't ask why. 
Note: It isn't because I'm lazy, I write a synopsis for every other fanfic I've written.

While his boyfriend started to work on his cover Su Yan pondered the other questions that inevitably came up with publishing a second story. First of all: How should he call it?
He pursed his lips but this time he didn't have as much trouble as the last time. After all, hadn't he already stumbled upon the best title when he discussed the title of 'Like a Ray in My Night' with Nie Chang previously? Thus, he immediately typed his idea in:

Su Yan grinned and went on to choose the genre and add the tags. As for the synopsis … Well, he'd leave that for later. After all, he'd have to think about that really well while the tags and genre were easy. He could just use the same he had taken for his first story. Thus, his second story once again ended up as part of the Romance Fiction genre and was tagged with cultivation and some bl-specific tags.
Finally, Su Yan couldn't delay writing his synopsis any longer. Now, what should he write? After all, he hadn't planned everything yet and didn't really know how their relationship would progress. Maybe he should just refer to how they met? Ah, that didn't sound bad …
[When the sect admission test of the Jin Shan Sect draws near the Elder Ziju An visits the city at the foot of the mountain to find a disciple of his own. With Dou Fang Hai, he seems to have found the right person.]
Su Yan frowned. 'Elder' didn't really reflect Ziju An's image of a young, handsome and strong man. What else could he call him? The only title that may evoke the kind of person he thought of Ziju An as would be Grandmaster. But could he call him that? Well, he was the current sect master's senior martial brother and the strongest person in the sect so … it shouldn't be too strange? He pondered a bit and finally changed Ziju An's title.
Now, the only thing he had to do was somehow include what would happen afterward. Dou Fang Hai's personality definitely had to be mentioned and that they would somehow fall in love along the way was equally important. Everything else probably didn't need to be part of the synopsis.
[Unfortunately, Ziju An's disciple is prone to causing mischief. As a good master Ziju An can't help but indulge his little disciple, thinking that all this is just a phase.]
Su Yan's hands stopped moving. Alright. He had the first part. Now, what about falling in love?
He stared at the text he had written until now and frowned. Ah! How was he supposed to add that?! He went over some possibilities in his mind but none of them seemed to really fit. Maybe he should change the beginning again? But what if that didn't work either?
Su Yan frowned even more. No, he couldn't do that. He had to first write the second part. After that, he could still change whatever wasn't good.
[With time, Ziju An stops thinking about changing his disciple's ways of making trouble. The closer the two of them get, the more other people seem to worry about their relationship though. And finally, it really seems as if Ziju An and Dou Fang Hai aren't just master and disciple.]
Su Yan stared at his synopsis and pursed his lips. This didn't seem right somehow. Well, everything he needed was in there but it sounded so strange when he read it. He should probably try again.
Su Yan deleted what he had written so far and started another attempt with the previous sentences in mind:
[Shortly before the Jin Shan Sect opens its doors for a batch of new disciples Grandmaster Ziju An visits the city at the foot of the sect to find a disciple of his own. With Dou Fang Hai, he seems to have found the right person. Unfortunately, the boy just loves to cause trouble.
As his master, Ziju An should probably discipline him but faced with this cute little dumpling Ziju An can't help but indulge him. The more lenient he is, the more other people start to worry if this is truly just a relationship between master and disciple or if maybe something more is going on.
Amidst their worry even the master and disciple pair themselves can't help but question the nature of their relationship.]
Su Yan slowly nodded. The beginning wasn't that different but the second part sounded much better now. He wasn't completely satisfied with the end but he really couldn't think of a better way to put it. Well, he'd just leave it at that. If he ever found another way to write it he could still change it, after all.
Having finished his part of setting up the novel Su Yan turned to look at how far his boyfriend had gotten with the cover. The result …
He smiled wryly and pushed his chair a little closer. "Ah Chang, do you really think that's a fitting cover?"
Nie Chang stopped working and turned to look at him. "It's about a master and his disciple, isn't it? What did you call it?" He leaned over to take a look and grinned. "You even called it that and still complain about the cover? Don't worry about it! Your readers will love it!"
Su Yan pursed his lips. He really wanted to believe his boyfriend but … This cover obviously showed a man and a child that were smiling at each other as if they had eaten too much sugar. This absolutely wasn't the bratty Dou Fang Hai he had imagined. How was this a child that would run around and cause trouble? This was a little angel that would always listen to his master!
"Just trust me. You'll see what I mean when you upload it."
"Mn. Alright." Su Yan wasn't that happy but he wouldn't be able to make a better cover anyway so he might as well take Nie Chang's attempt.
Who knew? Maybe the readers would indeed like it.

Su Yan always wanted to be an author. Being moved by his determination (Well, in fact, she was just an avid reader of his fan-fictions and wanted him to write full time …) official Shen Lu grants the aspiring author a system: The Lovely Writing System!

Three years of perseverance, the weight of 4.6 million words and thus, it is over.
The Soul of Searing Steel concluded smoothly and steadily without any turmoil or signs of going to be banned. The one chapter blocked was my leave application when I grumbled about being ill (I have no idea why either), and it seems that I was right in choosing to write about a fictional universe with no female main character, the story of a pure warrior without involving political elements (not really).
The Soul of Searing Steel is too a heavy story, and you might not believe me, but I am basically not such a heavy person. It must have been due to my last book failing spectator that I had been feeling down and instinctively wrote this book so that I could cheer myself up. But as the book ends, I have indeed cheered up, but the tone of the book had basically been set.
The last part was certainly rushed, I would admit.
Naturally, it is not because I did not want to write it, but because I ran out of 'gas'.
In the drafted synopsis, Joshua would have entered the memories of every Wise One, from Psi to the Sage. In other words, the chapter 'Meeting the Wise Ones' would have been split into seven more chapters, where he would personally witness how three Wise Ones had been defeated and how the other four were caught in a stalemate, and therefore unable to interfere with Future.
And in the end, Joshua would break the shackles over the many Wise Ones, and as they urged him on 'don't mind us, stop Future right away' as well as the pressure of Future's rising progress bar, he would save everyone and obtain the key to reversal and the final victory in that last battle.
I had the confidence to write well; I definitely can write well… that is beyond doubt.
Still, I felt that it was dreary, and Joshua was no such person.
One spurt comes energy, the second spurt comes withering and the third spur was exhausting. Near the ending, the first burst of the strength I accumulated over writing the entire book was used on Joshua's sacrifice, the second puff on Joshua's resurrection, while the third and final one was the ending exclamation of the Soul of Searing Steel.
If that much ink was to be spent on Meeting the Wise Ones, it would drain the drive for me to type out the words 'Soul of Searing Steel' at the very end… (I am unsure If that is safe)
Most importantly, I am very pleased with how I wrote the ending.
Really, I felt as if I have finished the book under a single breath, and not only was I not feeling melancholy when I wrote the conclusion, I was instead exclaiming in exhilaration—there certainly had been regrets since my prowess had not reached the stage where I could share my own joy with ever reader, but to tell the truth, I do not believe that it is too weak either. My original intent had been to maintain the feeling that it had yet to end, but now it appears that it might have been a little too much.
Either way, thank you. Truly, I am very grateful that I have company who could share this three-year journey and see this story to its end.
Whether it was the synopsis or setting, my last book was more or less as complete as Soul of Searing Steel had been since both initial synopsis for both books were written at the same time. Still, my experience and technique might have been sufficient to give it a smooth flow—there is novelty, but it definitely would not count as good writing what with the lack of an overall perspective, draggy pacing and everything was over the place.
As for the Soul of Searing Steel, I definitely felt that I had surpassed myself. It was my feeling that whether it was the fights, the characters, the plot arrangement, explorations and adventuring or the struggles between ideals, everything had fully surpassed who I had been in the first place. Even so, I would also have to acknowledge that the fights in the latter half had become monotonous and often scatter, concluded with punching a hole in the brain or leaving some sick one-liner. Such is the common feeling when the fighting power had bloated to stellar or even individual cosmic class, and with myself remaining a mortal and that I really hate the oral sparring in the midst of a fight, I had therefore really failed, and barely forced myself to write something I think would pass.
Moreover, the tone of this book comes from the feeling you get from Dark Souls… I am not about to debate the philosophy of Dark Souls here with anyone as it is a matter of perspective, but what myself saw in Dark Souls is war, sacrifice, salvation, legacies and the fire that burns amidst the darkness.
I wanted to write this feeling, and it was heavy. Things are cool in the design phase, but when pen is put to paper, there is the understanding that those questions affects an entire book significantly. Interesting plots would have to be held back because of the incompatibility with the book's tone, while I am a person who prefers having a start and an ending, and would only ever maintain my initial intentions in writing. Furthermore, the somber style would definitely repel some readers who were attracted by the sense of invincibility depicted in early chapters, and all of that is an outcome caused by not thinking things through.
There were many problems and I still have much lacking to make up for and resolve.
Nonetheless, it is with luck that I gave myself and the book an ending I myself find satisfactory after 4.6 million words. At least I saw that I have improved, and I could only hope that I could keep getting better with the next book, such as writing better parts for the side characters so that the main character would not be the sun and the rest stars in the background.
They should at least be the planets forming a solar system.
In the end, the three-year long serialization definitely left errors and mismatching setting details between the early chapters and the later chapters. Well, one way or the other, the later chapters could be used as the standard since there is no adjusting from now onwards.

Finally, it is about the new book.
The subject of the new book is rather complicated: it is a combination of urban spirits being revived added with superpowers, western fantasy, science fiction, Cthulhu, aliens and all kinds of mythologies, tabletop modules or novel games. To tell the truth, you just need to take a look at this very book's contents and genre to know: such things could never hold me back. I could only assure you that this is indeed a story I believe to be interesting and had prepared for a very long time.
I would never write about things that I am never able to reach.
The new book would probably be published on the first of November—around those few days, I did discuss it with my editor so I would not be standing anyone up. The month had been spent on TI as well as resting and recharging because the three-year serialization was really a little tiring. During my break, I could also take a look at the good reads by other authors, and all of you do know about the latest happenings… but, well, I should not stand out too much.
Three years, and a part of my life had hence past, and I trust that it had been the same for everyone else too… anyway, it is almost time to say goodbye for the time being, and I shall leave everyone with some final words.
The poet Bei Dao once wrote:

Uh... Howdy. So I decided that remaking the novel again will be both boring and tiring so instead, I decided to continue how the novel is right now and I've re-written the synopsis to take care if my previous problems (Check it out if you haven't already). I'll focus on re-writing later on once I actually finish the series (It'll be a sad day but also my best accomplishement).

I'm thinking of making an Akame ga Kill character but with an Oc protagonist meaning no body-takeover this time. I will be listening to other suggestions of fanfics but will probably take a long time as I haven't watched many in the last few years (Oi, schools been keeping me busy that it doesn't feel right if I don't do anything productive. No offence anime but life is just like that, for me at least.)

Synopsis:

Before he knew it, he was already there. There was no meeting with God nor was he killed by Truck-kun. He just randomly arrived into the world with no warning and took over the body of Rin Okumura, the Son of Satan and protagonist of Blue Exorcist. After being hit with unknown memories and almost losing his personality, he decides to fight against the events of the future and make the most of this life compared to his previous one. 

Though he ignorantly thought events of Canon will only take place, he'll soon find out that everything is not what it seems. Canon will crumble, new events will take place, new Characters with interesting backgrounds will appear, romance even though he didn't think he could love or receive love, mysteries and mythologies, friendships with those he never knew he could be friends with, and finally the reason why he took over Rin Okumura's body.



[So this is the Author, just a little warning, the first 10 or so chapters are bad imo as I made them to distract me from irl stuff. Expect cringiness level: weeb.

The quality of chapters improves around chapter 18 where I start straying away from Canon. Yes, a bad idea if I want viewers but I didn't care at the time nor do I really care now but I just don't want people leaving to say they dropped the novel because it has a lot of similarities to Canon. it gets boring to read the same stuff over and over again.

Of course, I will edit the cringey chapters once I deal with Uni work. This fanfic is my second priority unfortunately since uni is a must for me.

As a new year approaches and the end of another, so does the wrapping up of Witch Are You?. Updates will continue daily through December but look to January as a closing up of sorts for this novel. Do not worry, though; an exciting new adventure awaits in my next novel Kissing Shadows, the synopsis of which can be found at the end of this auxiliary chapter!
I never thought in a million years when I set out to write Witch Are You that I would actually garner readers who would fall in love with the story and characters as much (if not more!) than I have. Witch Are You is a love story written to every great book that has influenced me as an author. Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Twilight, Outlander, The Witcher, Six of Crows, and many more all served as points of inspiration at one time or another. I wanted to write a story that I, myself, would love to read. The fact that you and many others love reading it too, simply put, is humbling and amazing.
So for some fun stuff! I always wonder how my readers pronounce names in their minds as they are reading. For years when reading Harry Potter, I pronounced Hermione's name wrong until it was clarified later! So here are a few of our major characters and how I planned for their names to sound as well as how I picture them/their inspiration:
Lucian- (Lew-shun) His mannerisms and speech were loosely based on Loki from the Marvel universe when I set out to write him but have evolved over time to be a mixture of that and Damon Salvatore from The Vampire Diaries. Of course, he is entirely his own character now!
Ender- (End-Er) Think Jamie from Outlander
Nim-(Nym) Her character is not based on anyone from pop-culture. She is purely herself!
Aniyoh- (Ah-nigh-oh)
Marcaius-(Mahr-Kay-Us) His character's looks are based on every handsome prince-charming ever, with a malicious twist.

He briefly wondered if Caroline could hear his thoughts but was coming to understand that she was simply beginning to know him. She knew what could not be summed up in mere words. Caroline saw his actions and knew them to be his way of speaking to her.]

Liu Jinhua smiled and said, "Here, look!"
He opened the character page, and everyone was completely stunned. "F*ck, this is indeed a super treasure! We don't have it in our area, right?" "Right, the best one I've seen is just Defense +1 and Attack +3. Yours is extremely valuable!"
Wang Hao was confused. "Is this game equipment quite valuable?"
Liu Jinhua nodded fiercely. "Yes, absolutely!"
F*ck! I need to keep up the momentum! Keep going!
They continued killing monsters. A while later, a diamond necklace appeared!
Wang Hao went forward and picked it up. He opened his backpack. Huh? Another "Green" equipment!
"Luck +2. Attack +3. Is it good?" Wang Hao looked at Liu Jinhua. The crowd behind them gasped! F*ck! Why is he so lucky? Two super treasures in such a short period of time!

Liu Jinhua said, "What do you think about the equipment my brother got me? Impressive, right?"
"Boss." The owner was in awe. "We welcome you all year round!" He looked at the crowd next to him. "See? This is my boss. He's definitely the God of Luck! I'm sure you'll all get good equipment if you come to my Internet café!"
They nodded. "Okay, got it!"
Ahahahaha! I'm indeed invincible today!
Wang Hao continued playing with Liu Jinhua for a while. He was totally unstoppable. He got a few more little treasures. Together with the two pieces of equipment he found at the beginning, he got a total of 2400 yuan and a few diehard fans… 
Buying the last treasure, Liu Jinhua finally gave a contented sigh. "So cool! I've already used up all my money. Brother, let's play again next time. Your luck is…" He couldn't find a suitable word to describe it, so he said, "Indescribable!"

They exclaimed, "Wow!"
"Sure!" Wang Hao burst into laughter. "My novel is called 'Battle Through the Heavens.' Please support me when you have time!"
Everyone nodded. "Of course, of course!"
Liu Jinhua smiled. "Brother, I'm leaving. What about you? I can drive you home if you want."
Are you for real?
A private shuttle! I must take it!
"Cool!" Wang Hao smiled and said, "Let's go, then."
They left the Internet café and walked toward a BMW 7 Series. Liu Jinhua said, "Brother, how should I call you? I guess we hit it right off. I loved reading your novel, and your luck in computer games is incomparable. Let's eat together when you have time, and I can introduce you to my friends!"

Liu Jinhua drove his BMW 7 Series to the Yulin neighborhood. Wang Hao then got out of the car and said goodbye to Liu Jinhua. He patted his pocket. Ah, I finally don't have to worry about money for the moment, haha!
Mom and Dad weren't home yet. He looked for something to eat in the kitchen, then sat in front of the computer.
"Time is gold." Wang Hao touched his chin and pondered. "I can't just sit here and waste time. I have to write something."
It was normal for Wang Hao to think like that. He was an ordinary person, and ordinary people tended to forget things easily after a long time. Given that he had the advantage of transmigrating, he had to make a plan, in case he forgot something in the future.
"What should I write…" Wang Hao thought for a while, then opened Word and typed a heading —

Wang Hao knew he could make a lot of money if he hired a professional crew to film this movie after he got rich. However, every business needed a stepping stone. Without a good stepping stone, it was definitely impossible for him to enter the film and television industry.
Since he had set his target, Wang Hao immediately started writing. During the process, he made a few amendments based on the current drama, "The Domestic Agent."
"In March 2015, an enormous dinosaur fossil was found in Skyland. The information somehow leaked out, and people from all around the world tried to steal it. Among them, Golden Gun was the strongest. The State Administration of Cultural Heritage and SWAT discovered that the national treasure had been secretly shipped abroad, so they sent Agent Ling-ling-chat to investigate…"
Wang Hao had watched "From Beijing with Love" three or four times before. He was extremely familiar with the plot, so he wrote the synopsis very smoothly. More than two hours later, he came up with a synopsis of around 3500 words.
After all, it wasn't too difficult for him to remember classic plots and lines.
It was already 5pm by the time he finished writing the synopsis. Then, the door opened. It was Mom.
"Hao," Mom asked as she stepped in, "how was work? Did everything go well?"
Of course! I made quite some progress today. Wayward Ren's investing in the drama. What do I have to worry about?
"It was great, haha. My colleagues are easygoing," Wang Hao said with a smile on his face. "I even had a walk-on part, hehe."
"Really? That's good!" Mom was obviously thrilled. "Our Hao will be on TV? Haha, your dad will be so happy. Let me cook first. Eat more tonight!"
"Okay, haha."


"The Fortune Dice has found its host. Initiating change in world setting"
Wang Hao obtains a weird dice by accident and transmigrates to a parallel world where everything in the entertainment industry is completely different.

"Rattle —" Wang Hao closes his eyes and throws the dice on the table. When it finally stops spinning, he takes a closer look and immediately lets out a gasp!
Staring at the top side of the Fortune Dice, Wang Hao has no idea what the future holds for him...

Like I wrote on the synopsis, I am a pretty bad writer. I'm trying to improve by writing this novel and will possibly/probably make a rewrite if people enjoy this novel enough. My inspirations were from Kestix and The Dark Wolf Shiro. I really enjoyed reading their works so I decided to write a novel aswell. I don't really know much about how my schedule is going to work out but yeah. I'll try to atleast make a minimum of 2 chapters per week whenever I have free time to write. I would enjoy constructive critiscm as it would improve me by alot.

I'm not really that good at writing and this is my first novel.

Most of my inspiration came from Kestix from Royal Road and The Dark Wolf Shiro from FF.net . I recommend that you guys read their works.
