As of 30th of October, 2021, this novel will still continue. I figured I should provide a little background.

I rewrote the story four times and didn't like any of it so dropped the story itself for a few months. Finally, a few months back, I got the idea to revamp the entire plot.

I spent quite a while to plot the entire story out and am now writing it. As soon as I'm done writing the first two volumes, I'll start posting again.

Current progress: Chapter 9 of Volume 1 (This volume will most probably have around 20-25 chapters)

I'll update the progress every week.

As a side note, thanks to all the supportive comments I've received even after I seemingly dropped this story. You have no idea how much it helps spur my determination along to continue writing!

taking in his surroundings Harry couldn't help but gasp a little at seeing the real wizarding world.

getting his bearings back together he walked straight to the biggest white building in the alley Gringotts. As he got closer he saw the goblin guards stationed outside the doors. 

'damn those are some of the ugliest things I have ever seen' Harry thought to himself as he entered the bank and waited in line for a free teller.

"yes" a goblin said from a desk motioning for Harry to go up to it.

"I don't have one, is there a different way for me to do so?"  Harry replied 

"yes, follow me" the goblin finished saying as it got down from his chair and motioned for Harry to follow him.

walking down a few halls and entering a private room with a work desk and a few chairs.

"you may sit down young wizard, as I still need to grab the feel documents for the inheritance test." the goblin said

the goblin reaching inside the desk drawer he pulled out a parchment and a old knife 

"now all you have to do is cut yourself in your thumb and let a few drops of your blood fall into the paper."

just before he reached for the knife.

feeling a slight warmth sensation go through out his body he picked up the knife, and gently cut his thumb to release some blood.

"no problem" the goblin said as he reached into the drawer with a new set of papers and snapping his fingers as another set of documents appeared but a much thicker set then the previous.

"first I will need another three drops of blood for the new key" 

Harry hearing this again went through the whole process just as he finished a new set of keys with their vault number ingraved In them.

"make sure to keep those keys safe Mr. Potter" 

nodding Harry put the keys inside his pocket 'blair can you put the keys into my inventory' 

'sure' Blair replied

" now these are your bank statements" the goblin said handing over the documents to Harry.

Harry still reading the documents heard some shuffling so he looked up from the bank statements and saw a platoon of guards with Spears pointing at him.

"is there a problem" harry asked with a hiss still mad at what he just read.

"no Mr. Potter you were releasing some of your magic and was causing some trouble" the goblin said

"ohh I'm sorry, but there is a problem with my bank account" Harry said again with anger

the teller and the guards seeing that he is angry began to sweat no matter how young and how much the goblins loved war they couldn't help but feel they were in the presence of an predator.

"what is the problem?" asked the teller

"well, it seems a Mr. Dumbledore has been stealing from my vaults and has taken some of my heirlooms as I don't know him. I want everything back with interest also a miss Moll prewett, Ronald Weasley and Guinevere Molly Weasley are taking payments out of my accounts. I want my shit taking care of and I would like to see my account manager and ask him personally why is he allowing this things to occur." Harry asked releasing magic but also causing some electric Sparks to appear around him.

the teller hearing the demand ran out the room and a few minutes later another goblin entered but this one was accompanied by other guards in fancier armor.

"greetings Mr. Potter I am Ragnok leader of the goblin nation and director of Gringotts. I have heard of the things that have happened and we are currently doing a investigation and the Potter account manager is being questioned at the moment." Ragnok said as he took a seat 

"Hello Director Ragnok I am sorry for all the commotion, but I wasn't expecting some of the issues I came across." Harry said

"yes, I would be unhappy as well" Ragnok said as a goblin walked in and whispered into Ragnoks ears and left some paperwork with him

"okay, Mr Potter from now on I will be in charge of your accounts and the previous Potter manager has been delt with. as for the stolen money's they will be taken back from the accounts of Dumbledore and prewett vaults with interest. as for the heirlooms they shall be in your vaults within the hour." Ragnok said
hearing this Harry finally calmed down 

"now for other business, since you are the last Potter, and last heir of Merlin,Le Fay, and Pendragon you are magically emancipated and will be able to claim your rings of head of house. will you like to do so at this time."

Harry appeared in front of a large set of gates as per the instructions of the invitation. The house was very impressive; it was a massive Victorian style building that one would read about if they cared to browse classical literature. It was set on a slight hill and was made from brick with heavy timber beams placed intravenously throughout the architecture. The lawns were well kept and the entire property was surrounded by high railings that matched the black and gold gate. It was then that Harry realised he was dealing with a family of class and suddenly felt a little underdressed. There was nothing he could do now knowing that it would be much more rude to be late than dressed the way he was.

He made his way to the door and composed himself, it was important for him to show his independence and strength but to be respectful and not intimidating. It was a delicate balance that had been explained to him by Arcturus; he had to be strong but not come across as though he felt he was better than them, they should be treated as an equal.

He knocked on the door and waited to be admitted.

The door opened to reveal a young looking house-elf that was dressed in a very clean, white apron with the family crest stitched lovingly into the front of the garment.

"Master Harry Potter sir" the elf greeted him. "Please follow me and I will takes you to my Master and Mistress" the elf instructed.

"Thank you…"

"Tilly sir" the elf responded blushing a little.

"Thank you Tilly" Harry said with a smile. "Please lead the way".

The elf led him through the beautifully decorated entrance hall that was largely neutral colours. The thing that set it apart from most other houses was the amount of family portraits and photos that were on the walls.

They eventually came to a dining room and Harry was taken aback by the number of people waiting for him, he had expected 4 but there were seven.

"Mr Potter.. It is Mr potter isn't it?" a tall and mousey haired man addressed Harry. "Welcome to our home" he said approaching with his hand extended.

"Technically it is Lord Potter, but please call me Harry" the teen insisted. "And thank you for your invitation Lord Greengrass it is much appreciated" he replied and shook the mans' hand firmly.

"Well you are very welcome Harry, let me introduce you to the rest of the people here" he said leading Harry to the assembled group. "This" he explained indicating to the other man in the room, "is Lord Robert Davis and his wife Lady Susan Davis" he finished.

Harry shook the mans' hand gave the lady a bow and a gentle kiss on the back the hand as was custom.

"It is a pleasure to meet you both" he intoned.

"The pleasure is ours Lord Potter" the man replied with a warm smile which Harry returned.

"And this" Lord Greengrass cut in. "is my wife, whom you have already met I believe" he finished with a raised eyebrow.

Harry recognised the woman immediately and took her hand and brushed his lips across the back of her knuckles.

"It is nice to meet you in much more pleasant circumstances my lady" Harry greeted her with a bow.

"Likewise Lord Potter" Ophelia replied with a smile and a slight curtsey.

"And finally the three young ladies here are my daughters Daphne and Astoria" he introduced, gesturing to the two blonde girls who looked very much like their mother. "And Tracey the daughter of Lord and Lady Davis" he finished indicating the final girl who had brown hair and seemed to take more after her father in looks.

"Ladies" Harry acknowledged with a bow.

"Lord Potter" they replied in unison with a curtsey of their own.

"Ok now that is strange for me, Please call me Harry or Potter if you prefer" he requested to the group.

Jonathan laughed.

"Of course Harry, Tilly would please take Harrys' coat" he asked of the elf.

Harry removed his coat, folded it and handed it to the elf.

"Thank you Tilly" he said looking her in the eye causing the elf to blush again.



About two weeks after, Harry was inspecting a vacant shop in Diagon alley for his new store when a quest popped up

This was the first time Harry had a quest that wasn't by his way or for him. The closest thing to it was the one telling Harry to teach Nymmi wandless magic. 
It was then that Harry heard shouting, as he turned he saw a man dragging a young boy by the arm "You will learn your lesson today; we don't deal with blood traitors" the man shouting at the boy.
Harry shook his head and moved in the way and 'accidently' tripped the man, causing him to fall face first on the ground, causing more than a few to laugh.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that" Harry said as he grabbed Lord Nott's arm to help him up. Harry morphed to look like a tall teenager, so he was able to help the man up, and hit him with a point-blank, wandless, wordless Confundus.
"Let go of me you filthy mud-blood" he screeched causing the alley to go quiet
Harry stood tall and spoke with authority "I will have you know I am Harry James Potter, Heir to the most ancient most noble house of Potter, and you will show respect" Harry nearly growled to add to the show
Nott under Harry's Confundus charm, which was set to cause recklessness, sneered "so not a mud-blood, so what, you're still a blood traitor" this time his words caused murmurs to trickle through the crowd gathered for the show
Harry growled "I harry James Potter Heir to the most ancient most noble house of Potter and most ancient most noble house of Black challenge you to an honour duel" this caused the crowed to gasp

Theodore Nott was worried, not for his father but for Harry Potter. Theo hated his father because he killed Theo's mom, but kept the fact that he knew secret. His father also punished him a lot because he wasn't good enough, he embarrassed his father in front of his friends or just because he wanted to throw a Cruciatus curse at something and he happened to be there.
Today was no different. All Theo said was that it was good to get rid of the werewolves, but his father thought otherwise and was dragging him home to educate 'read Cruciatus' him. 
"As the challenged, you may decide the time and location, or apologise for your dishonourable words and retract them" Harry broke Theo out of his stupor
Then out of nowhere Harry potter appears and challenges his father to an honour duel. They are usually to the death and with his father; they are defiantly to the death. No matter how much of a genius Harry Potter was, he was five and his father was a death eater, he was worried, and hopped his father would just apologise and have the duel dropped.
"I don't care and I stand by my words, TRAITOR" Alvin shouted
"Then it is here and now" Harry then turned and saw an auror "you, what's your name" he called to the auror
The young auror froze for a second before answering "George Proudfoot, sir"
Harry turned to Alvin "is he an acceptable Referee?"
The Referee was a third party that would make sure everything is on the up and up, and in the absence of seconds make sure there was no foul play.
Alvin Nott saw the young auror who was practically shaking in his boots "as acceptable as any" he accepted with a sneer that would make Snape proud
Harry took off his outer robes to reveal a white dress shirt and a Black dress pants with dress shoes "weapon and wand, no restriction. Auror Proudfoot, if you would set up a duellers wall please" harry asked the Auror who nodded and moved frantically
Soon enough, both Lord Nott and Heir Potter were inside a blue transparent wall, that can keep spells in, but that's about it. People can just walk out and spells from out of the wall can go through easily. Its only usefulness is when used for duels.
Harry turned to face Alvin Nott and pulled on his bracelet transforming it into a rapier, the same one he got about a year ago. Alvin Nott sneered again and pulled out his wand.
Auror Proudfoot stood just outside the the dueller's wall "would both duellers bow to each other" Harry accepted and bowed slightly, Nott did not "Lord Nott, no honour" the Auror spoke causing Alvin's eyes to widen
When no honour is called, and the winner of the duel is the one who it was called on, they get nothing from the win. In another word, Harry can claim right by conquest if he won as he is defeating the only adult male of the Nott Family, but Lord Nott cannot, because he acted without Honour.
Alvin Nott shouted "I WILL HAVE YOUR HEAD FOR THIS" at the young Auror who was too scared to act
"Auror" Harry spoke calmly and without an ounce of anything besides cold calculated killing intent "begin the duel"
The auror snapped out of his fear and began with a shaky voice "ready" he lifted his hand and brought it down "Begin"
"AVADA-" was as far as he got. The people were confused for a second until they saw the rapier sticking out of Nott's neck with blood flowing out. They turned to Harry, only to see him in a stance that indicates he threw the sword at Nott.
Harry walked slowly and calmly towards the now on his knees Nott, gaping for a breath as he held his neck, and took hold of the rapier "because the Potter is a light family people believe us weak" Harry spoke in a strangely admonishing tone "but the light sided families now have me, their sun/son" Harry then slashed the rapier causing Alvin's head to drop clean off
Harry then swung the blade downwards and the blood on it fell to the floor leaving the blade as good as new. Harry then turned to the auror who looked dumbly back "well?" Harry asked with a raised brow
"W-w-w- *gulp* winner is Heir Potter" the poor auror spoke before almost passing out as he heard "What is going on here?" from a very angry sounding Madam Bones

"You speak our tongue wizard, what is your name" The bank teller asked as he peered over the counter to look down at the child. "I am Harry Potter" Harry said as the goblins eyes lit up. "Do you have your vault key or wand Mr. Potter" the goblin asked as he continued looking into Harrys emerald green eyes, Harry confused looks at Hagrid. Hagrid awaking from his stupor, started to pat his chest and pants pockets. He reached his giant hand into an even more, giant sized pant pockets and pulled out a key that locked like a toy in his hands. "I got it right 'ere." Hagrid said as he handed the key to the goblin as he looked at Harry. "GripHook is the Potters account manager, I shall fetch him, so he can bring you to your vault Mr. Potter." The goblin stated as he hopped down from his pedestal and started walking towards a room behind him.   

"Blimey 'Arry. How'd you know to speak goblin?" Hagrid asked as he looked at Harry, "I was taught by a person no longer in this time or world." Harry said as he looked down, Hagrid thinking the person perished recently didn't continue asking questions out of respect. Short, quick steps were heard as two goblins walked out of the backroom, that the teller walked into a moment ago. "This is my clan brother GripHook of the Iron Arm clan." The teller said as the GripHook walked around the counter and towards Harry. "May your blade become quenched by your enemies' blood." GripHook said "May gold coins fill your vault," replied Harry. Harry squinting his face 'dammit Merlin, whatever you did to me makes me just reply automatically.'

"Mr. Potter, I have been trying to reach you by owl for over two years, we have much to discuss." GripHook said through his smile showing his pointed teeth as he reached his hand out and Harry shook it. "Time is money, so if there is nothing else let us be off." GripHook said, as looked at the wizard and giant. "I'm here on official Hogwarts business. I need to get you know what, from you know where." Hagrid whispered to GripHook who nodded, understanding Hagrid's not to subtle whispers. "IronHook" GripHook said to the bank teller "get someone to send the Giant to vault number 713." GripHook turned to Harry and said "follow me Mr. Potter, we need to discuss your account" as he turned and walked away.

GripHook pushed open his office doors as he made his way behind the desk as Harry followed him in. GripHook pulled out a dagger and a bowl engraved in runes and set them on the desk as he looked at Harry. "This is an inheritance test" GripHook explained as he nodded towards the dagger and bowl. "You need to slice open your palm with the dagger and let seven blood drops fall into the bowl. This will tell me that you are who you claim to be, before we begin to discuss your account." GripHook said passing the dagger over to Harry. Harry picked up the dagger in his right hand holding his left hand over the bowl and sliced a clean line into the palm of his left hand. Harry counted the drops that fell into the bowl as soon as the seventh drop of blood fell into the bowl, red smoke started to bellow out of the bowl. Harry set down the dagger and noticed that the cut on his hand healed the moment the dagger fell from his hand. Harry continued watching the smoke rise as it began to take shapes. A griffin rose from the smoke, as a snake soon followed, as a Thestral appeared behind them both. "Interesting," GripHooked smiled gleefully as he knew that the account he managed just grew exponentially.

Harry Potter died again and his death angel was not happy. "Seven times" she stated "and frankly I'm sick of this conversation, so goodbye, peace, whatever, just disappear." She said as Harry slowly vanished. She opened the file on her desk, "now to find someone who can."

The story shows Key and Makai walking down the stairs,joining Harry with his friends and the Weasleys.
"Seems everything is going great,want to dance for a little bit ,the music is still playing", Key glowed,literally.
"Ummm...Key", said Makai,as she notice Key glowing.
"What's up?" asked Key,then noticed her glowing.'
Abigail notice Key's glowing too,so she tries to make it stop,but instead of her stop glowing the spell backfire and hit Harry.
WIth both Harry and Key glowing they disappear.
The story goes to Harry and Key appearing back in their bedroom at the Dursleys.
"What happened?" asked Harry.
"Well, what I can analyze somehow my powers got affected by somebody else's powers, and we landed here", answered Key, while walking around.
"Who's powers?" questioned Harry.
"Yeah, I haven't gotten that far, but it doesn't matter, because we are going back", Key admitted.
Key snaps her fingers, but nothing happened, she snaps again, but still nothing happened.
"It won't work,hello", said a mysterious voice.
Harry and Key turns around to see a little creature on the bed who has large,bat-like ears and bulging green eyes the size of tennis balls.
This shocked both Harry and Key, they close their door, so the Dursleys wouldn't hear anything.
"Who are you?" asked Harry and Key.
"Dobby, ma'am and sir, Dobby the house elf", said the little creature.
Before Key shakes Dobby's hand, she asks "What do you mean it won't work?"
"Oh! Far magic doesn't work around elves", said Dobby.
"Oh! That make sense", Key understood.
"So, can I ask you why you're here?" wondered Harry 
"Oh, yes, sir," said Dobby earnestly. "Dobby has come to tell you, sir… it is difficult, sir… Dobby wonders where to begin…"
"Maybe you should sit down and think how to explain it", Key suggested.
To his horror, the elf burst into tears—very noisy tears.
"S-sit down!" he wailed. "Never… never ever…"
"Dobby! Dobby! Calm down", said Harry.
"Please, not to loud. I didn't mean to offend you", Key apologized.
"Offend Dobby!" choked the elf. "Dobby has never been asked to sit down by a witch—like an equal—"
"You must not have met many decent witches", said Harry, with a kinda smile.
"Or wizards too", Key pointed out.
Dobby shook his head. Then, without warning, he leapt up and started banging his head furiously on the window, shouting, "Bad Dobby! Bad Dobby!"
The Dursleys and the Mason's can hear the banging from all the way downstairs.
Key moves Dobby from the window to stop that attracting attention from the Dursleys.
"Dobby had to punish himself. Dobby almost spoke ill of his family", Dobby told Harry and Key.
"Your family?" asked Harry and Key.
"My wizarding family, Dobby is bound to serve one house and one family forever…" explained Dobby.
"Do they know you're here?" asked Harry, curiously.
Dobby shuddered.
"Oh, no, sir, no… Dobby will have to punish himself most grievously for coming to see you, sir. Dobby will have to shut his ears in the oven door for this. If they ever knew, sir—" answered Dobby.
"Do you have to punish yourself for everything you did. That you wizard family say is bad?" wondered Key.
Dobby nodded.
"They don't care at all if you're in pain?" asked Harry.
"No, sir, sometimes they remind me of extra punishments", said Dobby.
"If it's so awful, why not leave? be free", Key wondered.
"A house-elf must be set free, sir. And the family will never set Dobby free… Dobby will serve the family until he dies, sir…"
"How awful", Key shakes her head.
"Yeah, these people almost make the Dursleys sound human", said Harry.
Key nodded her head in agreement with Harry.
"Can't anybody help? Maybe we…"asked Key, feeling sorry for Dobby.
Dobby dissolved again into wails of gratitude, after Key offered to help.
"Please," Harry whispered frantically, "please be quiet. If the Dursleys hear anything, if they know you're here—"
"We'll be stuck here...for...for...I don't even want to think about it", Key says dramatically, but is quite serious. "So, please don't be too loud".
"Harry Potter and Key walker asks if they can help Dobby… Dobby has heard of your greatness, sir, but of your goodness, Dobby never knew…"
"Oh no! I'm not that special", Key dodged..
"Yeah, the thing about my greatness is rubbish. I'm not even top of my year at Hogwarts; that's Hermione, she—" Harry nodded.
Harry almost forgot about the party and his friends.
"Harry Potter is humble and modest. Key Potter is kind and similar to her cousin" said Dobby reverently, his orb-like eyes aglow. "They speaks not of their triumph over He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named—"
"Vol", Harry said.
Key covers Harry's mouth before he could finish the word because she could the reaction that Dobby was about show if he heard Voldemort's name.
"Please...do not speak the name, sir", Dobby begged.
Speak not the name!"
"Sorry," said Harry quickly. "I know lots of people don't like it. My friend Ron—"
He stopped again. Thinking about Ron was painful, too.
Dobby leaned toward Harry and Key, his eyes wide as headlights.
"Dobby heard tell," he said hoarsely, "that Harry Potter  and Key Walker met the Dark Lord for a second time, just weeks ago… that you two escaped yet again."
Harry and Key nodded and Dobby's eyes suddenly shone with tears.
"Ah, sir," he gasped, dabbing his face with a corner of the grubby
"Harry Potter and Key Walker are brave, they have faced so many dangers already! But Dobby has come to protect Harry Potter, to warn him, even if he does have to shut his ears in the oven door later… Harry Potter and Key Walker  must not go back to Hogwarts."
There was a silence broken only by the chink of knives and forks from downstairs and the distant rumble of Uncle Vernon's voice.
"W-what?" Harry stammered. "But I've got to go back. It's all that's keeping me going. You don't know what it's like here. I don't belong here. I belong in your world—at Hogwarts"
"Why?" asked Key. "We can't stay here,our friends are there, if there's danger, we need to be there".
"No, no, no," squeaked Dobby, shaking his head so hard his ears flapped. "Harry Potter and Key Walker must stay where they is safe. They're too great, too good, to lose. If they go back to Hogwarts, they will be in mortal danger."
"Why?" said Harry in surprise.
"There is a plot. A plot to make most terrible things happen at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry this year," whispered Dobby, suddenly trembling all over. "Dobby has known it for months, sir. Harry Potter must not put himself in peril. He is too important, sir!"









"What terrible things?" said Harry at once. "Who's plotting them?"
Dobby made a funny choking noise and then banged his head frantically against the wall.
"Okay, we get it, you can't tell us", said Key, stopping him.
"Dobby, thanks for the warning, but there's just no way, we can stay here, we need to warn our friends", Key insisted.
"Exactly, they'll be worried", said Harry.
"Friends who you don't even write to Harry Potter?" said Dobby slyly.
"I expect they've just been—wait a minute," said Harry, frowning. "How do you know my friends haven't been writing to me?"
Dobby shuffled his feet.
"Harry Potter mustn't be angry with Dobby. Dobby did it for the best—"
"Have you been stopping my letters?"
"Abigail was right, it was an elf", Key gasped.
"Hands those over", said Harry.
"Not unless Harry and Key give their word that they will not go to Hogwarts this year", Dobby insisted.
"Not a chance, now hand those over", replied Key.
Dobby runs away after Key tries to get those letters, Key and Harry go after him.
Mouth dry, stomach lurching, Harry, Key sprang after him, trying not to make a sound. He jumped the last six steps, landing catlike on the hall carpet, looking around for Dobby. From the dining room they heard Uncle Vernon saying, "…tell Petunia that very funny story about those American plumbers, Mr. Mason. She's been dying to hear…"
Harry ran up the hall into the kitchen and felt his stomach disappear.
Aunt Petunia's masterpiece of a pudding, the mountain of cream and sugared violets, was floating up near the ceiling. On top of a cupboard in the corner crouched Dobby.
"No," croaked Harry. 
"Please… they'll kill us…" Key begged.
"Harry Potter and Key must say they are not going back to school—"
"Dobby… please…" Harry begged.
"Say it, sir and ma'am—" said Dobby
"We can't",Harry and Key insisted
"Dobby must do it, for Harry Potter and Key Walker's own good", said Dobby.
Dobby snap his fingers which makes the pudding levitate, Key freezes the Dursleys in time, and tries to grab the cake, but Dobby unfreezes everything and she accidentally hit the cake against Mrs. Manson's face. 
After the pudding hits the floor, Dobby disappears.
"Oh! I'm sorry, it's our niece—very disturbed—meeting strangers upsets her, so we kept her upstairs…" apologized Uncle Vernon.
Uncle Vernon shooed the shocked Mansons away, then gives Key a mop and tells her to clean every piece of pudding on the floor.

Harry, Key, and their friends adventures continue, but this year might be more troubling at Hogwarts with new friends, new danger, etc

CHAPTER SIX:

"Thank you, Albus," Harry said as the old man left him in the living room of his new quarters. They were situated in Gryffindor territory - just down the hall from Gryffindor tower, in fact, and Harry knew from his brief time as Hogwarts Headmaster that the portrait that guarded his new rooms was fiercely loyal to Dumbledore. Harry tried to block out the memories of those terrible few months – when they had all but lived in the Room of Requirements – when upon Minerva's death the care of the school had fallen to him. Shaking his head, Harry walked around the rooms one more time, casting spells on the portraits to make them think they only saw him do innocuous things. No need to have spies watching his every move, after all. That done, he sat on his new couch and called for a certain house elf.

"Mr. Harry Potter sir?" the house elf gaped when he appeared before him.

"Hi Dobby," Harry said, grinning as he leaned forward to be on the same height as the diminutive elf. "I've come from the future to make sure that this time Voldemort doesn't win."

Dobby gaped for another full minute, then drew himself up to his full height. "How can Dobby be helping Mr. Harry Potter sir?"

"I was wondering if you would like to work for me, Dobby," Harry said, looking fondly at his small friend. "Last time we agreed on payment of one galleon a week and a day off a month – does that sound good to you?"

"The great Mr. Harry Potter sir is wanting Dobby to work for him?" Harry almost laughed at the wide-eyed look the house elf wore, but managed to keep it to a grin as he nodded. Dobby drew himself up again and squeaked, "Dobby would be honored to serve Mr. Harry Potter sir!"

"Wonderful!" Harry said, slipping from the couch onto one knee. Holding out his hand to Dobby, it took but a heartbeat before it was grabbed. "I, Harry James Potter-Black, take Dobby the house elf into my care. May you serve me long and well." A flare of blue light enveloped the two figures, and Harry felt a soft awareness of his friend settle into his magic once more. It felt familiar, and comforting.

Dobby however was in tears of happiness, reminding Harry of the other time they had bonded. Just as he had then, he reached out his free hand to tip up the house elf's chin, speaking to him gently.

"Dobby of the House of Potter, I welcome your help and advice, and will care for you to the best of my abilities. What I have is yours, my friend. I invite you to call me Master Harry," he had learned that it was the house elf way to add a word before anyone's name – among elves, Dobby would now be known as 'Potter Dobby', "and to call me 'Master Potter' only when in formal company. Welcome to the Potter family," he finished with a soft smile. Dobby threw himself into his arms with a loud sob, and Harry hugged him with a big smile. It was good to know that this friend, at least, was still his friend in the new timeline.

"I have several tasks for you, Dobby," he said once the elf had gotten himself under control again. Fishing a small chain out from under the robes he wore – the Room of Requirement had supplied him with a basic set of black robes – he slipped it over his head and held it out to Dobby. "These are the keys to my vaults," he said, "and I need you to access this one," he separated one key from the rest and handed the chain to Dobby, "and bring me the red wood chest. Then access this vault," he pointed out a silver key, "and bring me the suitcase made of Welsh Green dragonhide. Please inform the goblins that I will be by as soon as possible to discuss business."

"Yes Master Harry!" Dobby cried, standing to attention. "Dobby will do his best!"

"Thank you, my friend," Harry said softly just before Dobby popped away.

Standing and crossing to the desk, Harry settled down to organize his next actions. With Dobby's help, the first step – a wardrobe – was already underway. Harry had only jotted down a few points when suddenly a chest materialized with a loud pop, and Harry found a wide-eyed elf at the end of his wand before he even realized that he had moved.

"Dobby!" he exclaimed, hurriedly lowering his wand. "I'm sorry – the pop was so loud, my reactions just kicked in, I didn't realize-"

"Master Harry," Dobby interrupted his rambling, "You is not needing to apologize. Dobby will return now with green suitcase." With that, the elf popped away, leaving behind a bemused wizard. Dobby had never been that firm in the other timeline.

Before he could dwell on it longer Dobby reappeared, a large suitcase next to him. "Can Dobby be doing anything else for Master Harry?"

Harry shook himself, crouching to be on his friend's eye level. "If you could go ask Professor Snape if he could join me in," he checked the time, "an hour, that would be great. Ask him to call for you when he's ready to come - I don't want anyone in the castle knowing that he is with me. Alright?"

"Yes Master Harry sir," Dobby said, popping away. Harry shook his head with a smile before levitating the chest and suitcase into his bedroom and setting them down beside the wardrobe. He had already checked all items in his new quarters for spells, and removed the spells on the desk to duplicate anything he wrote, the spells on the bed to notify Dumbledore who slept in it, the spells on the wardrobe to catalog the contents... There had been a lot of spells around the suite.

Opening the chest, he smiled crookedly at the items within. Carefully shaking out each piece as he removed it, he began filling the wardrobe with James Potter's clothing. By the time he had finished, the wardrobe had a wealth of clothing in wizarding style. Reds and golds abounded, interspersed with black, brown and white clothing, as well as the occasional blue. There wasn't a single green item.

Knowing that there would be an Order meeting that evening, Harry carefully went through the clothing to put together an outfit to convey the impression he wanted to. A deep red shirt with golden buttons, black slacks, socks and shoes, and a warm golden robe that hung to his knees; shrinking charms were liberally used, for James Potter had been taller than his son. Once Harry had changed into the selected outfit, he opened the suitcase and soon pulled out a black chain with a pendant bearing the Black crest. Slipping it over his head, he also picked up the long chain with his keys and put it on, letting it fall underneath his shirt so that only the golden chain was visible. Rummaging around in the suitcase a little longer, Harry found a watch that he slipped onto his left wrist, taking a moment to wind it. It was an old mechanic watch, but continued to look brand new. The gunmetal casing looked nearly black, and the golden gears were visible in the skeleton casing.

That done, Harry turned back to the suitcase once more. It was filled with assorted items, ranging from jewelry to scrolls, and while he searched for a specific item he set aside other things that he felt would be useful, including an old scroll on a forgotten potion that Severus had been in awe over. This time the man would have the time and equipment to go over the potion properly, Harry would make sure of it.

Eventually he straightened with a satisfied smile, a small box in his hand, and opened it without further ado, sliding the two rings contained within on a pointer finger on each hand. A brief wince as the rings pricked his fingers to sample his blood, then a warm feeling as he felt them extend their protection to him. In the other timeline he had taken them off when he showered; a mistake he would not make this time around.

Closing the suitcase, Harry slid it under the wardrobe and hid it with a little ward Bill had taught him. He was ready for the Order.

Chapter Thirty Three: The Alley

Narcissa finished her list for Madam Malkin's. She and Harry would be there for a while and so she had suggested that he eat a light lunch, with a promise that they would get something afterwards. "You don't want anything that will be too heavy, otherwise the clothes might not fit properly." She explained as Harry grumbled his way through a ham sandwich.

"We need to get you some proper dress robes for when you present yourself at Dumbledores trial. Though I do wonder if they'll require you to wear your Wizengamot robes over it...if so we'll make sure that your dress robes are comfortable enough. Then we'll need to get you some new clothes for school, you'll need new uniforms, that sort of thing." She looked down at her list, "Then of course, we need your muggle clothes. Nymphadora has kindly offered to take you into Muggle London to purchase those."

"Dora is coming with us?"

"Of course, according to Madam Bones she is to be your bodyguard whenever you go out. She's making her own list of clothing stores she wants to take you to."

Tonks was in fact making a list, but not just of clothing stores. She was ready for her own date night with her husband. The weird sisters are playing at 'The Scrying Bowl' tonight, we're not on the list now, but I'm sure that Lord Potter-Black and his young and beautiful wife slash bodyguard merit a pair of free tickets... Just then she heard a tapping at her window, That's Hes' owl. I wonder what she wants.. Tonks opened the window and allowed the bird to come in, "Wotcher Brygg, you got a note for me?"

Pennebrygge, aka Brygg barked softly and held out his leg. Tonks retrieved the note and read it. Damn, Hes is going to pass a brick when I tell her that I am in fact married to Harry. Ah well, nothing to do but fess up and deal with the mess afterwards. She sighed and took a different piece of parchment than her list and began to write,

Hes,

So yeah, turns out that I'm Mrs. Potter-Black. Harry and I got married in a secret ceremony. Just us and the other two wives. Yeah, two... I'm the youngest one though, so I'm still the prettiest haha. Harry and I are going to The Scrying Bowl tonight for a concert. If you're around, stop in and say Hi.

Tonks (Or PeeBee, you know for Potter-Black, I haven't decided yet)

Tonks tied the letter to Brygg and watched the bird fly off. This will change my timeline a bit for the day, but not too badly. We'll meet with Hes and get a few drinks then go to the concert. Harry and I will probably stay out tonight ourselves. She grinned at the thought, considering how vocal Bella got, not too mention how happily disheveled Cissy looked Harry, if he didn't know what he was doing, did a good job of compensating. It's been a while since I've had some alone time with a handsome bloke.

Scene Break

Harry was certain that this day wouldn't end. They had already been at Madam Malkin's for what felt like three hours. Every robe had been wrong somehow, Narcissa was like a general inspecting her troops each time. She'd run her hands over one robe, decide the material was too rough, then when another came out she didn't like its color.

"Narcissa, why has everything been wrong? This is the best robe shop in town..." Harry asked her, Narcissa looked up from where she was inspecting the stitches on a black and gold trimmed robe and frowned, "You are the Lord of a Most Noble and Ancient House, absorbed into Houses Potter and Black are some of the wizarding worlds most famous and infamous Houses. I will be damned if I let you show up at the Wizengamot in last years rags. They are going to be judging you, going over everything you say and do with a fine toothed comb. I won't let them decide that you're just a child who knows nothing. I will stay here in this shop with you, going over every single robe in their stock until I find the right one."

Harry put his hand on hers, "Cissy, I trust you as my voice. If they think I'm some know-nothing child, so be it. They'll have to get past one of the smartest witches I know if they think they can take advantage of me. If they don't have something perfect, how about we ask them to make something custom?"

Narcissa smiled at the idea, well that and the feel of Harry's hand on her own. From her spot in the corner Tonks stifled a laugh at her aunt, Auntie Cissy's got it bad for our man...what did he do you last night? In any case I can't wait to find out for myself... She walked over to the pair, her hands tracing over the fabric, "I don't know, this feels pretty silky..I know I like the feel of silky things against my skin.." She said it softly, words meant just for Harry.

Harry looked to his youngest wife and grinned softly, "You do eh? Tell me, are there magical lingerie shops?" Tonks let her hair grow slightly pink, "They do, but I think I'll wait until your birthday to take you there.." She ran her finger down his robes again, "Tonight however, once Cissy is finished with you, you are mine. We're going to see the Weird Sisters tonight!"

Scene Break

Delores Umbridge walked briskly into the DMLE offices. Ignoring the secretary, she walked into Amelia Bones' office.

"Madam Bones, I need to speak with you at once. Someone has placed a full pardon in the Ministers paperwork and got him to sign it. Bellatrix LeStrange is out there somewhere! We need as large a squad of Aurors as you can find. You must capture that Death Eater quickly and quietly so that word doesn't get out!" She enjoyed the feeling of bossing around others, it was best, she felt, that people knew their place. She didn't like the look on the face of Amelia Bones.

"Madam Umbridge, no. Now get out of my office."

"No? There is a convicted murderer on the loose and you say you won't go after her?" Delores drew herself to her full height, which wouldn't even come to the chest of Amelia Bones if she stood, which she did. Towering over the much shorter woman, she continued to smile unpleasantly to Umbridge. "Again Madam Umbridge, no. LeStrange provided proof that she had been forced under a compulsion charm. She also, as a sign of remorse gave me a list...a very long list of names."

"Names?"

"Yes, people, some of whom work in this very Ministry that are openly or secretly associated with He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. All my Aurors are busy investigating those names. Perhaps instead of coming in here and bothering me while I'm working, you should see to your own staff and affairs. Now, get out of my office."

Umbridge smiled sweetly, the kind of smile she saved for people she especially hated, "Very well Madam Bones. But I promise you, if something happens and it is connected to LeStrange, then I will be back with the Minister, and we will remove you from this position and put someone in it that will obey the law." With that she turned and left the office, making her way to the lift.

Rotten cow, how dare she refuse to do her damned job...no matter. I still have my connections at Azkaban, I will send another group of Dementors after LeStrange...

Scene Break

Peter Pettigrew, aka Wormtail had been watching the street in his rat for a few hours now. Harry Potter went into Madam Malkin's with Narcissa and some third woman. He's not vulnerable here, Narcissa isn't any great shakes with her wand, but that purple-haired woman...I think I've heard the others talk about her, she's an Auror. The Dark Lord isn't expecting me back for some time, I think I'll just hide in the sewers for a while, either Harry Potter will kill Voldemort, or Voldemort will kill Harry Potter, in either case I will just stay a quiet little rat away from all of them...with that the rat slunk away into the sewers.

Scene Break

Narcissa had made some selections from the ready-made robes, "Emergency robes" she had termed them. Harry had stood there, allowing Madam Malkin's assistant to fit him. Narcissa and Madam Malkin were discussing a set of made to measure robes. Not just for Harry, Narcissa wanted a set for herself as well, "We will need robes that state 'We are Lord and Lady Potter-Black, do not try and treat my husband like a child, and do not consider me an empty headed trophy.'". Narcissa said to the woman as she swiftly began to take notes.

Narcissa had finally settled on two sets of black robes for each of them. Harry's would feature a deep forest green along the neck. Hers would be similar but with a pale golden trim. As she listened to Madam Malkin discussing the features, she found herself imagining dancing with her husband at a Yule Ball..

"You look so beautiful, Lady Potter-Black.." Harry says softly as he spins her around the floor gracefully. "I didn't think I would enjoy my dancing lessons, but when I imagined you being disappointed in my skills, I set out to master dancing. What do you think?" Narcissa smiles and kisses her husband, "I believe, my Lord Potter-Black, that should serve as an answer."

They are the envy of the dance floor and soon enough they are the only ones dancing. The crowd watches them, the women are openly jealous of her. She can feel Molly Weasley glaring at her, her and her husband in out dated formal robes that could not hold a candle to her and Harry's beautiful, handcrafted robes. "Let's stay out tonight, Lilith Anne is spending the night with Dora and Teddy..Bella and James are at the villa..Fleur and Sabine are in Paris visiting her parents. There's no reason we have to rush back.." His voice is soft, his eyes teasing her, somehow this marriage had become something so precious Narcissa pitied any witch who never got someone to look at them the way her husband looks at her.

"Lady Potter-Black?"

"I'm sorry Madam Malkin, I was thinking about something else.."

"That's alright my dear, but I wanted to know your opinion on these buttons for your dress robes.." Madam Malkin opened a small case of buttons and showed them to Narcissa, the third set were white gold with an intricate runic pattern.

"Those. They are perfect."

Harry appeared, dressed in the outfit he had came with her in. Tonks came up beside him, "Right, you've had him long enough today. Harry and I are going into Muggle London, and I doubt we'll be back tonight.." She grinned to Harry before looking over the robes Narcissa had picked out. "Not bad at all Cissy, you're definitely going to make a lot of people at the Wizengamot feel under-dressed. "

Narcissa merely smirked and turned to pay Madam Malkin, once the transaction was completed she kissed Harry, "Have fun tonight, we'll see you for breakfast." She apparated back to Grimmauld Place, leaving Tonks and Harry standing there.

"Alright Hubby, it's time I take you to get some muggle clothes. If you're good I'll slip into the changing room and give you a surprise.." She said softly as she drew up close against him and double apparated them away.
