Harry potter thinks he is an ordinary boy-until he is rescued by a bettle- eyed giant of a man, enrolls at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and wizardry, learns to  play Quidditch and does battle in a deadly duel.  The reason Harry Potter is a Wizard.

Harry followed the Old men up to Dumbledore's office, listening bemusedly to Hermione's obvious irritation with the little dreamy blonde.
Dumbledore looked at Harry gravely, "You have done the school a great service. The LEAST that I can do is give you an award for special services to the school."
Harry inclined his head, accepting the award.
Dumbledore smiled mischievously, "Along with 200 points to Gryffindor… apiece."
Harry and Hermione grinned at each other.
"Traditionally, the sword is always kept by it's alchemist, so you can keep the Sword of Potter and practise with it, you'll have to get proficient with using it and your wand."  Dumbledore smiled, "We'll be practising that for the last few months of this year… On the other hand, there is an event coming up next year that we feel you should know of. We're bringing back the Triwizard Tournament…"
Harry hadn't heard of it before but Hermione gasped in excitement.
"The Triwizard Tournament! Are all the schools on board?" Hermione asked. 
Dumbledore nodded, "Beauxbatons had asked for an extra year to decide but Nicolas convinced some of his old acquaintances to agree to the tournament on my request…" Dumbledore trailed off, seeming apprehensive about what he was going to say next. 
Arcturus continued, "We wanted you two to enter."
"Arcturus wanted you two to enter."
"It'll be a good test of their skills." The Lord Black protested. 
"It's a contest with 7th years in it!" Dumbledore shot back, giving the impression that it was an ongoing debate between the two.
"So? You know that Potter is better than your half-assed 7th years, even that Wood boy isn't at Potter's level, and Granger would almost beat him as well. " Arcturus replied. 
"But why force them to compete?"
"We're not making them compete, we're just allowing them to enter, the Goblet will choose whoever the best candidate is, if it's one of the goddamn 7th years then the 7th year will perform, if it's Potter, Potter will perform." 
"Professors, it's fine, Hermione and I will enter, though I personally think it's unlikely that we will be chosen over the 7th years." Harry said sceptically.
Dumbledore sighed and nodded, "Very well, though you must make sure to be very prepared."
*** Later
The year was coming to a close, and Arcturus was being more brutal than ever on Harry, because of his possible choosing for the Triwizard tournament. 
"There will not only be the traditional competition which will be hard enough, but there will be a duelling and a flying tournament."
Arcturus looked at Harry, "It is expected that the regular participant will take part in the next two competitions too but they will be chosen separately if, for example, the champion is not good at flying."
Harry nodded, "But I am pretty decent at flying too."
"True, which is why we're focussing on your duelling skills. Here let's practise." 
Arcturus started off the duel with a lazy spell-chain that Harry batted away without any effort. 
"Come on Black, that the best you got?" Harry taunted, despite knowing it would only seal his fate faster.
"No, but you haven't proven yourself worthy of my skill." Arcturus responded lazily.
Harry forced himself not to take offence and instead responded with several unpredictable spell-chains that fizzed out against Arcturus' shield. 
Harry sent a shield-piercer at the basic shield, following it up with a quick spell-chain that would hopefully pass through before Arcturus could raise another shield. 
Unfortunately for Harry, Arcturus simply moved out of the way before conjuring a serpent of water quickly to buy him some more time.
Harry wrenched control of the serpent and dispelled it, throwing the water at Arcturus' feet and attempting to freeze it, only to be thwarted by a long stream of fire released by Arcturus, which created smoke, that Arcturus threw at Harry's eyes. 
Harry sliced forward with his sword to cut through the smoke and give himself enough vision to strike back quickly at Arcturus, knowing that his only chance of victory was to catch Arcturus off guard. 
Arcturus deflected the spells off a hastily conjured shield, distracted for the moment, by Harry's spellfire, as Harry created a huge wall of fire which was turned to smoke automatically by Arcturus and sent back at Harry.
Thankfully, Harry was ready for this move, which Arcturus seemed to make every time with a fire or water attack, and used air manipulation to throw the entire thing at Arcturus, winning him precious seconds, in which he didn't attack but continued to draw on the floor, quickly moving around Arcturus, and drawing simple symbols. 
The smoke cleared in a few short seconds to reveal Arcturus surrounded by a pink glowing shield that went around all sides of him. 
Arcturus dispelled the shield and started throwing more spells at Harry but Harry only grinned and stepped back, throwing spells back immediately.
Arcturus, shielded against the spells even as he attempted to move out of the way… only to hit against a runic enclosure spell.
Harry smiled victoriously and leapt at the trapped Black with his sword, going to touch his neck with the face of the sword.
Arcturus thought fast and moved his wand quickly to dispel the runic binding just in time to push Harry away with a very last minute gust of air that overpowered the boy and blew him into the wall, effectively ending the duel.
Arcturus smiled and clapped.
"Smart one there boy, almost got me too."
Harry got up grumbling, "I shoulda got you."
The Black Lord nodded, "That's right, I'm old and out of my prime, you NEED to be able to beat me, though you've still got a long way to go."
*** Examtime
Both Harry and Hermione did exceedingly well in their second year exams, passing all the practicals with flying colours, not even having to try for defence, and in the blink of an eye, it was time to leave.
"Harry, you'll be coming with me to Black Manor where Sirius is." Arcturus said.
Harry nodded and the Lord apparated them straight to the doorstep, where Harry would talk with his Godfather properly for the first time.
"Hello Harry."

William Hughes had a pretty good life, he thought. He had every material possession he could ever want, he had gotten top marks in all his classes, maintained good friendships, and spent the majority of his time being happy. He was even able to play video games in his spare time. More recently he'd gotten into Cambridge University for theology, and in the past week he'd been given a scholarship and accepted into the Gentleman's Order of the Coffee-Stained Page. Sure, there were times he broke down and said to himself that he had no future, that he was the worst man he'd ever heard of, but everyone had those moments, right?
The Order was a group of scholars who ran the university's library, and received generous grants for their research. Historically they were known as the mystical Scholar's Guild, who were able to find books no-one had ever heard of, and were even believed to have been demon-slayers of some kind. It was a huge honour to be accepted into their hallowed ranks. 
It had been a difficult choice for Will to start a theology class in the Divinity Faculty on account of his existing faith being in Wicca, but his thirst for knowledge had led him to the area he knew least about, and he'd been to Cambridge before and found a good amount of occult believers, as well as one great occult shop. 
He certainly didn't regret his decision once he received the gargantuan sum from his scholarship and the Order, and having the keys to the library together with a vote for their purchases was a great boon also. Today he was perusing the shelves for a copy of the Malleus Maleficarum. He wished it wasn't included on the syllabus - it was a truly vile and ignorant depiction of witchcraft from a medieval Christian perspective - he had a mind to show his lecturers the Grimoire of Turiel just to set them straight on the true Christian thoughts on magic. 
He picked up the Maleficarum, but another book on the same shelf caught his eye. 'Magic and Sorcery for the Novice Guild Member'. The binding looked ancient, yet still sturdy. The title was embossed in gold lettering and when he picked it out, the cover was hand-painted with a variety of symbols - many of which Will knew, but some were a mystery. He decided to take the book out, if only to research the book itself. The "Guild" it was referring to seemed likely to be the Scholar's Guild that was the foundation of the Order. 
He resolved to question the president later. Meanwhile he took the two books to the counter and signed them out.
"Hey, watcha got there, Will?" Will's closest friend in the Order had just entered the library.
"Something rather interesting, James. I had to get the Maleficarum for my class, but I found this thing on the same shelf. I believe it's been here since before the Order."
"That's not so special. Let me take a look." He walked over to where will was standing and suddenly rushed into action, flipping through pages frantically, totally absorbed.
"This is incredible. From the theories detailed in here, it actually looks like magic might be possible. Like Harry Potter style magic. It says you need a Grimoire though. Some kind of decorated tool, by the looks of it. Or maybe a book, it does mention pages."
"You don't know what a Grimoire is? It is a book, specifically a book that details all of its owner's spells. What, does it have instructions for making one?"
"Yeah, it's really in-depth. This is complicated. There's a lot of uhhhh... Ingredients?"
"Oh? Like what?"
"Apart from the obvious, seems like a load of spices and herbs. They're supposed to stimulate the brain in different ways to help you focus on different aspects of a spell."
"I've never heard of using them in a Grimoire, but herbs and spices are used in similar ways in Wiccan magic too. I'd be interested to see what could turn that into 'Harry Potter magic' as you called it." They said their goodbyes and Will carried the books back to his dorm. He still had some daylight left, so he made a note of everything he would need for the Grimoire and set out buying them. By the time he got to the occult shop, he already had everything he would need for the book itself: wood, resin, papyrus and string. He'd wanted to get velum as mentioned in the instructions, but it was hard to source and frowned upon in the modern day, so he settled for a high quality Egyptian papyrus instead of cheap paper. He knew that ingredients of spells in Wicca were often interchangeable so long as they had the same properties, so he hoped it would be as acceptable with this type of magic. He found the rest of what he needed very quickly, but he could never leave this shop without buying more than he'd intended, so he picked up a deck of tarot cards and a crystal pendulum too. Thanking the owner, he returned to his dorm and began work on his Grimoire.
"Okay, so we have sage, cumin, cinnamon, turmeric and mugwort. That's a pretty basic formula for beginners, and besides the sage, they all have strong and distinct smells. I won't change the recipe for the moment, but it's worth noting that I might be able to expand my repertoire by adding more properties in scent-based ingredients." He had some old leather lying around, so once he'd applied the resin design to the ash wood cover and bound the pages to it, he carefully chased the leather onto the cover. Following this, he copied the symbols and spells meticulously from the book. The final step in the instructions was to cast a spell using symbols on the cover of the book, to bind it to the owner. 
He hurriedly grabbed his paints and brushes, knocking over his coffee table on the way. Once he'd finished inscribing the symbols, he recited the suggested incantation. The book glowed with a soft white light. The light gradually spread across Will's vision, and when it faded he realised his eyes had closed. Opening them, he jumped and slammed into his back wall. A creature was floating above the Grimoire with jagged wings and a sharp, toothy grin. Will stood up and flattened himself against the wall in fear.
"What are you?" He cried.
"Hahaha. My name is Angelo. I am a fairy demon bound to you by this book. If I'm honest, I've been following you for a while because your soul looks tasty. If I had known you would be building a Grimoire today I would have taken it already." He had an untrustworthy glint in his eyes. 
"Well, I'm grateful you didn't, but what's stopping you from taking it now?"
"Is it not obvious? The Grimoire. When you completed it, you bound me to you. If you get hurt, the book gets damaged, and if the book gets damaged, we both get hurt. I cannot take your soul because it would kill me. I have no choice but to protect you now."
"Okay, so what do I do now? Can I just cast spells now, do I need to sleep on it, is there a vow I need to take?"
"As a matter of fact, there is. Turn the page, it should be there." Will obeyed, and found that the page was largely empty, aside from one short paragraph. The demon chanted with him. 
"I vow to protect the people in all my power. I vow to improve myself so that my enemies may never best me. I vow to learn and to teach so that I may have a strong force to defend my city and my country. Lastly, as we live by the Book now, so do we die by the Book. This is the Scholar's Pledge belonging to the Magus Guilds."

A reclusive group of scholars discover a secret in their library and it drags them into a fight they were not ready for.

It´s 23:59 and somewhere in England, there is one person in a big examination area. His name is Phillip Dorcette he is mixing some high explosive stuff together. "This time it will work, the mathematics is correct, nothing can go wrong," he said with a little crazy voice. "The way to unlimited Energy ergo Magic." At point 12 o clock he mixes in the last ingredient and nothing happens he looks baffled, all of a sudden everything shakes and then there is black mist everywhere. "It´s pretty dark in here, where am I, is there a blackout?" 
 
Then there is a deep and powerful voice: "Wow that was very impressive, you could produce magic in a universe where should no magic exist. I didn´t think that someone could and would put himself above the law of nature."

Phillip: "Do I get something or have I won something?"

God: "Won? Maybe? You could say so and maybe not. You have to decide if this is a win for you. I can´t let you go back to your world because you have broken the natural order in that world. You produced Magic that can´t happen so I deleted you. For better understanding, you don´t exist anymore temporarily."

Phillip: "WTF. Are you even allowed to do that?"

God: "Yes." 

Phillip: "Oh ..... Ok. Not that somebody would miss me anyway. What happens to me now, what can I do at all now, will I just disappear into nothing or will I go to heaven? Will I get the chance to be reborn? Oh Oh please can you get me into Harry Potter somehow please please, please."  

God: "Yes I can do that."

Phillip: "Like in these novels, with some bonus wishes?"

God: "Yes like in these novels and I guess I can give you some bonus, after all, you have broken the natural law of your world. You get two wishes and get to choose your background. You get half an hour to think. Go."

time passes and half an hour is gone...

Phillip: "Okay at first my background, I want to be born on the 9th June 1958 that should be around two years before the Marauders. I want to be born in a most ancient and noblest House, which is in the real Harry Potter extinct but survives long enough for me to get of age. I want to be really rich I mean really for my experiments and other stuff of course. It should be a neutral house meaning grey. I don´t have any siblings because my parents died a short time after I was born and my grandparents have to raise me because they are the only ones left. 
Okay, let´s get to wishing, my first wish is that I got 10 times the magical power and capacity of Voldemort, Grindelwald, Dumbledore and Harry (Endform) together. 

God: "Oh... don´t you think that is a bit much? how about 3"
P:"10" G:"4" P:"9" G:"5" P:"8" G:"5" P:"7" G:"5" P:"6" G:"5"  5 times is enough don´t you think. ahhh and your second wish? But you can only gradually unlock it, can´t have superbabys around, you should be in your full power with 21. You should also remember to train your body, so it can hold all the magic well."

Phillip: "That is acceptable. My second wish is that I get a Libary in my head as in ´Libary of the Heavens Path´ but for me, I get all the books about magic from all the worlds sorted by subject and world. Of course, I don't know them all by heart, where else is the fun of reading them, but I want to be able to read them in the real world and they are camouflaged there. In my head, the time should pass 10:1 when I read there." 

God: "That's tricky, you know that most of the other magic books don´t work in the Harry Potter universe. The only things I can give you are symbols and Runes from other Mythologies but that only gives you a broader range in spell crafting and rune writing. For the Time difference, I can only give you 3 Times and only when you are in meditation. "   

Phillip: "That's a bummer. Can you at least give my brain an upgrade so that I can think faster? Because my other wish doesn´t fully function." 

God: "That ok. So are you ready some last questions?"

Phillip: "Can please send me back after I was born? I think I don´t need that twice." 

God: "All right, if that's all I wish you a lot of fun and success. Goodbye" 

Phillip: "bye-bye"

The smoke disappears and everything becomes dark, but I can feel that I have my eyes closed this time. I open my eyes for the first time in my new life and close them very quickly again because the lamp in the room shines directly into my face. I blink and slowly get used to the brightness, but I still don't see much, but that's because I'm a baby. I try looking around and see that there is much gold around me so that rules out a hospital. 

I hear a sweet female voice: "Oh look he is awake Gregor dear. Come here my little sweety how was your first night?" and she kisses me all over my face. 

Gregor a big athletic man a black with full beard laughs: "Karen I don´t think he will answer you for a while." 

An Elderly Woman: "That's a cute boy, may I hold him? Come over Albert see your grandson." she calls her husband and looks at me with loving eyes, they hold almost as much love in them than my mother's. In the Background, you can see how an old man with a well-groomed white beard slowly makes his way over, but you can already tell that he is a strong man, every move looks graceful but alertly. He looks as if he was a war general or something.

Albert: "Fine Joseline I am coming already. Show him to me." he takes me and looks proud and happy all over me. " Nice work Gregor" and gives my dad a thumb up, my grandma gives him a pointed look "and Karen as well of course" he looks sheepishly. "Now our Kyme Line has a new member, Phillip Kyme." 

After that not much happened, my parents and grandparents talked and I changed arms often. In the evening, or what I presume was the evening I got put back in my bed. I was tired anyway. As I was lying there I was trying to enter my library but instead of appearing in my mind I fell asleep.

A rich middle aged man who is experiments with everything he gets his hands on. One experiment fails and he dies. He meets God and chooses to be reborn in the Harry Potter world. A new life with a million more experiments an a new force to master. With some advantages he starts his next adventure.

Anything can be bound. Anything can be sealed. Anything can be restricted. Only time will tell how long these will last. A rewrite from my original Book 1 of the Gamer Series.

July 25, 2007 (Tokyo)
Harry scratched his chin in thought. He had taken a contract for a Yakuza boss's life. The man in question seemed to partake in every crime under the sun and was some of the lowest filth Harry had ever encountered. Unfortunately, he had amazing security. The man had a convey with him at all times of at least thirty men. All of them had SMGs strapped to their side at all times. He could just use magic, but there was absolutely no fun in that. Plus, that would slowly erode all the other skills that he worked so hard to get.
Along with the convoy, the man had taken residence in a skyscraper with his office on the top floor. Harry had debated getting a sniper and going at him from long range, but sadly he found out that the windows had been modified for sniper fire a month ago, which put him in a worse position. If he went in loud when the man was with the convoy and didn't have all his men with him, he would most likely die unless resorting to magic. He continued to think.
'Well, I guess I will just have to do a mixture of the two then.' Harry thought as he got up and moved to prepare.
The same day, 8:45 pm
Harry was now walking into a nice fancy office building with a backpack and a huge suitcase. The building had low security, with only about five guards patrolling at night. Said guards only patrolled the first few floors unless an alarm went off on a different floor. As soon as he walked in, he looked around for any security. He saw one at the desk, lying against the keyboard of a computer he must have been working at. Harry quietly walked up to him and immediately saw something wrong. Blood was pooled around the man's head. He was dead. Harry shot his head up to look around him to make sure the killer wasn't still there. Once he confirmed there wasn't anyone, he looked back down at the dead man. He then reached down and grabbed the Taser from the man's belt and moved to the elevator. If that killer was still here, the rest of the security was probably dead, too, which meant he only had to watch out for one man. It was probably another assassin who had a similar idea on how to kill the target. The contract never said that it wouldn't hire multiple men. He lugged the suitcase to the elevator and clicked on the second-highest floor. He then walked over to the stairs and set down the luggage and backpack. He then unzipped the bag and pulled out a Glock that he tucked into his waist; he then took the Taser he stole and put it next to the Glock. Harry silently opened up the door to the stairs and started to walk up. When he got to the last floor, he silently opened the door and shut it before scanning the floor. He saw no one yet, but that didn't mean no one was there. He pulled out his Glock and began to move slowly and quietly around the room. Scanning around with his eyes and ears, he saw and heard nothing. He continued on until he saw a barrel poking out from one of the cubicles. After a second of looking at it, Harry quietly made his way to the back of that cubicle. He then stood up on a chair next to it and peeked over.
There, he found his assassin. The man had dark skin and looked Middle Eastern if he had to take a guess. The man had a good view of the target's building and was looking down the barrel of a high caliber rifle, waiting for the target to appear at any moment. Harry got down from the chair and pulled out his taser. He then quietly made his way over to the front of the cubicle and prepared himself. He took a deep breath and ran in as fast as he could. The man didn't even have time to move before he had Harry's taser pressed against the back of his neck and sending volts painfully throughout his body. The man was immediately knocked out. Harry took a breath and looked down at the rival assassin. He then looked at the sniper the man had brought.
"Amateur," He said to himself. The fool clearly did no research on the building the target was in; otherwise he would know that a sniper was going to be useless. Harry shook his head and went back down to the previous floor to get his things. When he brought them up, he put his set up right next to the failure of an assassin. He put down the backpack and clicked open the huge suitcase and looked inside. He had brought with him a SMAW rocket launcher, which would penetrate the man's glass and kill him. It would be messy and conspicuous, but he didn't have enough options and this would provide him with a way to leave without anyone seeing his magic.
Harry opened his pack and grabbed some gloves, putting the Glock and Taser away. Then, he picked up the giant rocket launcher and propped it up against the wall. Next, he walked up to the window and smashed it open with one of the office chairs. He looked across to the other building and saw the man in a meeting with what looked to be other yakuza members, but it was too far to be sure. He picked up the rocket launcher and aimed it at the top floor of the opposing building. He steadied his breath and lined the rocket launcher up before pulling the trigger. The recoil immediately pushed him back, but the shot still flew true. He watched it get closer and closer to the other building before making contact and exploding in a huge ball of fire once it shattered through the window. He put the rocket launcher down next to the passed-out man who had tried to take his kill. He then grabbed the man's hand and put it on the trigger.
He packed his bags and took off his gloves. He could hear sirens in the distance. He headed to a small supply closet, just in case someone was watching him and flashed away into the night.
July 27, 2007 (Wolfe Cove)
Harry was sitting and reading the last book Dumbledore had given him. The magic that parseltongue allowed for him to use was impressive; there were healing spells that could heal diseases with no known cure and curses that honestly freaked him out. One such curse put a snake in your stomach that ate its way out of you. Nasty stuff. He had taught some of the things to Sammy, which was why he got the books in the first place. She could now use her bites to places curses on people. He had her practice on livestock he had stolen from farms. She could also heal people, but she didn't like learning such things. She was more interested in learning new ways to kill whatever she considered prey. He shut the book, stood up, and looked out the window of the house. It was a beautiful morning in the Caribbean. As soon as he thought that, he noticed a dark speck in the sky that seemed to be approaching his island. He went outside and sat on the patio as the speck got closer. It was a bird, not just any bird, but an owl. He wondered who it could be. Daphne had already written to him and he already wrote back. That girl was pretty nosey. She was trying to get him to tell her what he was doing this summer. He had simply responded that he was messing around with some stuff and had purposely been very vague, just because he knew she wouldn't like it.
He brought himself back to the present as the owl landed in front of him. It was brown and regal-looking, or at least it would have been if it wasn't about to pass out from the long flight. He took the note from the bird and the bird looked back at him looking like it wanted something.
"Sorry, but I don't have food, and I'm not sure if I want to waste my water supply on you," Harry said, turning away from the indignant bird and opening the letter it had been carrying.
Dear Harry,
Hi, Harry! It's Rose. You said you would come and visit and you haven't yet. You better come soon. You promised me.
Love,
Rose
Harry looked at the letter with a pang of annoyance. He still couldn't believe that he had been backed into a corner by a five-year-old. Sighing, he went back into the house and put on some warmer clothes, grumbling about little devil 5-year-olds.
"What the hell are you grumbling about?" Sammy asked from his bed where she was resting.
"I'm going to pay a visit to that demon 5-year-old so she stops bothering me," Harry said as he grabbed a hoodie and threw it on.
"Do I need to go?" she grumbled as she lifted her head to look at him. Harry sighed.
"No, it's fine. Enjoy your relaxation. You've earned it," Harry said, looking back at her.
"I'll be back later today," Harry said before he flashed away.
(Potter Manor)
Harry stared at the house he had left 8 years ago. He hadn't thought he would ever have to see it again when he left it. Sighing, Harry approached the door. He knocked twice and waited. Someone's footsteps approached the door and the door was thrown open. Lily had been the one to open it and as soon as she saw it was Harry, her eyes widened and a giant smiled appeared on her face. Harry stopped her before she could say anything by putting a hand directly in front of her face.
"I'm just here to see the brat, no one else. Just take me to her, so I can keep my promise," Harry said as he lowered his hands. Lily was still smiling as she nodded. She led him through the house and into the living room, where he saw the rest of the family. Arthur and James seemed to be having an extreme match of chess. Rose was sitting down and coloring, but as soon as Harry stepped in the room, she was immediately attached to his leg.
"Hey, kiddo," Harry said as he looked down at her awkwardly. She looked up at him with what was probably the biggest smile he had ever seen.
"Hi, Harry! Thanks for coming; did you get my letter?" she asked innocently.
"Yep. Got it today," Harry said as he looked down at her. Damn puppy eyes. She smiled even wider, if possible.
"Yay! Let's go and play!" she said as she started dragging him up the stairs and to what he presumed was her room. It was right next to Arthur's. As soon as they entered, she immediately went and grabbed some dolls and brought them to him. They were apparently about to play a game called 'house'.
The next few hours were probably the hardest of Harry's life. Pretending to play real-life with toys really did a number on his sanity. He had tried to escape multiple times, but Rose would just activate her puppy eyes as soon as it looked like he was trying to leave. Harry was convinced that Rose could cast some mental magic when she looked at him with those eyes. There was no other way to explain why he had no defense against such a frightening ability. Perhaps one needed to build up a tolerance for it first? He had promised himself that afternoon that he would develop a defense for it.
"Harry: where do you live?" Rose asked in the middle of their game. Harry looked back at her.
"Why do you ask?" He asked back at her.
"Because you don't live here," Rose said back. Harry contemplated what to say.
"I have an island that I bought and live at," Harry said. Rose's eyes widened.
"You live on your own island? Can I come? Pleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleaseplease!" She asked, holding her hands together in a begging motion. Harry chuckled at the sight. He reached out and ruffled her hair.
"Maybe one day. Although the rest of your family can't come with you, so you would have to ask your parents if that's okay first," Harry said, trying to pacify her. Rose immediately squealed and ran out of the room. Harry could hear her yelling at her mom from the room.
"Mom, Harry said that I can go to his island if you're okay with it. Can I go? Pleeeeaaasseeeee?" She asked. As soon as Harry heard that, he jumped up and ran down the stairs and immediately went to where he heard the begging.
"Now hold on Rose, I didn't mean right now. I said 'one day'," Harry said as he found her next to a slightly amused Lily. Rose immediately turned to him, slightly teary-eyed, using her devastating ocular prowess.
"You mean I can't go?" She said with a heartbroken undertone. Harry had no defense.
"Well…I mean…umm…*sigh*fine," Harry said as he looked away from her so he could try to shake off the dazed feeling he was getting from looking at her with teary puppy eyes. God, this girl was GOOD!
"Yay! See, mom, he said I could go. So, can I?" Rose said, directing her attention back to her mom. Lily looked back down at her with a slight smile.
"Well, we can't do it today. It's almost your bedtime and we don't even know where the island is. I will talk to your father about letting you go some other time," Lily said patiently as she looked down at her daughter.
"Awwww, but I wanted to go today!" Rose whined back.
"None of that young lady. I didn't say no, I just said not today," Lily said as she looked at her daughter strictly.
"Okay…" Rose said back glumly.
"Well, I guess I should leave, as well," Harry said as he finally saw his chance to escape.
"No! Not yet!" Rose exclaimed as she looked back at Harry.
"Don't worry kid, I will be back soon," Harry said.
"Tomorrow," Rose demanded as she looked at him with a stern expression.
"Uh. Well, I don't know if it will be that soon, but it will be soon," Harry stammered before Rose used her eyes on him.
"Fine. As long as you come back and play with me soon," She said pouting and puffing her cheeks. The sight was extremely adorable and forced Harry to turn away.
Harry nodded before telling Rose goodbye and flashing out of there so he wouldn't have to say anything to the rest of the Potters.
Wolfe Cove
Harry landed back into his bedroom and sat down on his bed. He took off his jacket and leaned back on the bed. Before he could close his eyes all the way, he heard a hiss.
"How was it?" Sammy asked as she slithered next to him.
"Not bad, I guess. The Potter's stayed out of the way, which I was happy about," Harry said as he took a deep breath.
"You know, the girl is a Potter too," Sammy said as she looked at him.
"I suppose so. But when I see her, I don't feel the need to constantly squash her like a bug," Harry said as closed his eyes.
"As long as you realize the problems you will have to endure because of her," Sammy replied as she slithered away, most likely to find somewhere to sleep. Harry pondered what she had just told him for a minute. It was true that any affection that he had for her would end with problems. Her parents would always bother him to get him to go with them. If any of his enemies found out about her, they would gladly use her against him. Still, they would have to go through him first. He drifted off into the world of dreams with one final thought.
'Might not be so bad…having a little sister.'

September 1st.

Today's the day. I entered platform 9 ¾. Tom had told me on how to go there.

Nothing much happened during the train ride. I just climbed up the train, choose a compartment, close the door, and alternated between re-read the book or sleep. Nobody came to my compartment and I spent my entire travel time in solitude.

The sky turned dark, and sometime later came an announcement that we nearly arrive at Hogwarts. I changed, put on my uniform and prepared for our arrival.

The 'traditional' lake trip for new students did not impress me that much. Sure it was awesome, but I just couldn't shake this 'something' in my thought. The same something that lingered ever since I woke up in that alley.

The 'traditional' sorting went the usual way. After some time, came my turn. I sat on the stool and put on the hat.

"Huh? What are you boy? Your mind is… unusual," came a voice in my head.

"Eh, I am what I am, beyond that I can't say, since I don't know the answer myself."

"Hmmm.. Difficult. It's difficult to sort you. There's something, akin to a fog, that makes me unable to 'read' you. It is not occlumency, but it keeps me away."

"A fog you say? Somehow that makes sense. In my defense, I'm still not fully 'sane' or 'aware', whichever you choose, ever since I was woken up at that alley by a Hogwarts' owl. There's something in back of my mind that I can't shake away."

"Well, we will need another way to sort you then. Tell me boy, what is your desire, what are you going to do to reach it?"

"I can't say much, but for now I want to ensure my survival. The world is not a kind place, it never was, it probably never would. People respect both money and power, and as much as I disagree with that belief, it's a dumb decision to disregard both. Knowledge is power, and power guarantees survival."

"Hmmm, you have enough cunning for Slytherin, while your ambition, while not grand, is quite strong. However, your desire of knowledge is much greater, even if it's merely a way to reach an end."

"Well, you definitely need knowledge to gain more knowledge. On the other hand, you don't necessarily need power to gain more power. You can gain more power with enough knowledge."

"And quite a sharp mind too. You would do well in RAVENCLAW!"

I joined the other students at Ravenclaw's table. Their claps weren't as loud as other houses. Well, that's house of bookworms for you.

The feast and the following events went like it should, at least that what I thought. I knew next to nothing about this kind of thing. You can't sue me for that!

After lied down on my bed at boys' side of Ravenclaw Dorm, I recalled what happened so far. Train ride, boat ride, sorting, and no Harry Potter at sorting.

I jolted up.

No Harry Potter at sorting. Harry fucking Potter was not at sorting. What else did I miss?

Let's see. I didn't think I saw Luna, nor did I saw Quirrell, Lockhart, Lupin, Moody, Umbridge. Holy shit! Where in the frontier side of multiverse I currently was?

I got up and asked the prefect for a charm to tell time. One of them told me the Tempus charm. I said my thanks and returned to my bed.

September 1st, 1990. 10:57 p.m.

Suddenly the fog behind my head cleared. One year. One fucking year before Potterverse canon. Of all things that could have happened, I was reincarnated to Potterverse one fucking year before canon timeline. Other fanfictions I read for passing time usually put people either in canon start, Marauders' era, Next Generation, or Pottermore. None ever mentioned such thing like my current situation.

In standard fanfictions of canon timeline, the MC either teamed up with Harry or exist as his replacement because Harry was either kidnapped or dead. And I had no idea which scenario played on for me.

I sighed. That's not important either way. My desire was to survive, and I had one year to prepare before canon timeline start. Whether the world would be kind to me, I would find out next year.

I needed knowledge, I needed power. Most fanfictions portrayed Wizarding Britain as a society of the dumbs. Let's see whether it's true.

I needed to survive. I needed money and power to survive. I needed knowledge to get money and power. I knew the shortcuts to get knowledge, but I also needed intel and anonymity.

Anonymity wasn't easy, it'd need more than 'not drawing attention' and 'leaving false trails'. Intel on the other hand was very easy. What's the best item to get intel at Hogwarts?

Marauders' Map.

The problem was the current owner, or rather owners, of said map. The Weasley twin, Fred and George.

Also known as Gred and Forge, Chaos and Anarchy, or Next Generation Marauders.

I have no capital, I have nothing to offer in a trade, I could not ask them to hand it over, I could not answer their possible question: how did you know about the map?

Therefore, only one thing left: I'd have to steal it.

I trained the summoning charm for a week, I need to be able to use it silently at full power. I have trained to do it wandlessly on those scattered coins across London.

On a night, near curfew time, not too far from Ravenclaw's dorm entrance, I used a full power summoning charm on the map. I poured almost all of my mana to that spell through my wand.

The map came, flying toward me. I captured it, then hide it in my robe. I entered my room and put the map inside my trunk.

I succeeded. Next, I'd need to wait until next term before using it. Forget its existence until next term.

Time for the next step of my plan. The only place in Hogwarts, nay, in entire Potterverse, that could give you -theoretically - unlimited access to knowledge. The Room of Requirements.

Next day at breakfast, I eyed the Weasley twins. Their behaviour seemed a little… subdued, for lack of better term. Okay, deep breath. Pretend nothing happened.

After class, I took a walk to seventh floor, that's where Room of Requirements was located -according to both canon and fanfictions. Ah, there's it, the fabled "Barnabas the Barmy" tapestry. I performed the 'ritual', asked for a comfortable room, and entered the door.

Inside was a replica of Ravenclaw Common Room. I took a feel on the chairs inside, it seemed to be a perfect replica, sat on one of them, then began to work. I put my bag and pulled out an empty book, several blank papers, and a pen.

First thing first, "I need to know about underage trace magic and a way to remove it."

A parchment appeared in front of me, it contained summary of underage trace magic. Like on most fanfictions, they lied on wands. Also on my wand.

Thirteen inches, chestnut wood and half-burnt phoenix feather. Not phoenix feather, but half-burnt phoenix feather. Half-burnt feather, for goodness sake! And phoenix was supposed to be bird of flame.

I suddenly recalled what he said. "Good at everything yet best at nothing, and randomise owner's luck."

Wonderful, a perfect equipment for jack-of-all-trades. And it fully came with ancient Chinese curse (may you live in interesting times) to boot!

Well, fuck you, Ollivander! You gave it to me without batting an eye.

(On wandlore book I read at later date, it's written that chestnut 'will take characteristics from both core and owner' while phoenix feather 'learns most varied magic, hard to be chosen')

I sighed, as it couldn't be helped. I read the parchment and perform the necessary steps to remove the trace. It was just a simple procedure of chanting three specific lines while waving the wand clockwise three times.

Next, I asked for a list of different charms. I wrote them, their incantations, and their general descriptions at the newly dubbed "Thunderion Spellbook".

I practiced several of them before decided to stop, pack up, and return to the dorm.

Before breakfast, I put heavyweight charm -the opposite of featherweight charm- on my clothes. Nothing too heavy, but two kilograms as a start wouldn't be bad. I would gradually increase the weight as the the time goes.

Power came in several forms, Hogwarts could provide me with at least three. Power of body, mind, and magic. And what's the easier way to train body than using weights while doing daily activities.

Next agenda would be to train my magic. If my understanding was correct, simply repeatedly cast spells until my reserves depleted, recover it, then repeat it every time, would greatly increase the size of my reserves and my proficiency of said spells.

It's also good to have several unknown -by Wizarding Britain - magic under my sleeve. It was when I accidentally requested something from Room of Requirements that I realised a certain fact: I greatly underestimated this room's capabilities and potentials. Because one could request literally anything, provided it didn't go against Potterverse rules of magic.

Three different Materias -of fire, lightning, and ice- from Final Fantasy VII appeared when I asked for it. A gunblade, a fucking revolver-greatsword from Final Fantasy VIII appeared next. All of them were fully functional, even if I can't use them at their full potential.

Sweet Aphrodite, Venus, and Freya on Threesome! This changed lots of things.

Other worlds, parallel universe, the multiverse. They existed -proven by me reincarnation to this Potterverse. But the fact that other worlds were accessible, fucking accessible, from Potterverse, would mean one thing: I could go somewhere else.

Potterverse wasn't a nice, friendly world, even if you're the Harry bloody Potter himself. I'd sooner become a Dark Lord -much more competent than that Snakeface- than become legal member of this society.

I could go anywhere else, somewhere with better future prospects than this world. No need for Anima, World Door, or Kaleidoscope. I could use something else, granted it's only one-time use, but if I maxed my luck, with Felix Felicis…

First thing first then: more knowledge, more power, more time.

I requested a basic Occlumency book. Better mental capacity means better contrentation, better focus, and better knowledge absorption.

Next, I asked for several portions of food, with preservation and shrinking charm, from the kitchen. Those little buggers gladly provided me with extra take-out food on schedule basis. The fact that I bribed them with several mundane cooking recipes didn't hurt a bit. In fact, they became more enthusiastic in their service.

Then, I asked the Room of Requirements to provide me with a DBZ-verse time dilation chamber, Nasuverse basic magecraft books, and a "Ki for Dummies: How to Unlock and Use Your Ki" book. The last one was fucking real. I didn't know where that book originated from, but if it works, it's not stupid.

Of course I couldn't really use Nasuverse magecraft, as I had a magic core instead of magic circuit, but I could adapt some of it to my repository. Namely Structural Grasp, Reinforcement, Thought Acceleration and Memory Partition. Especially the last two. As I wasn't too keen on building bizarre and/or complex mental defences -that'd cut some of my mental and magical capacity. As the saying goes, "great power is useless against speed you can't follow", or something like that, by having mind so fast, complex, and bizarre, that even best legilimens couldn't follow would work in my favour. It'd basically boost my mental capacity, with automatic legilimency rejection -due the sheer processing speed and complexity- as side effect.

Two hours a day, one hour before breakfast and one hour after class, I used the time dilation chamber with one day per hour ratio. To avoid suspicion, I would appear busy in school library and Ravenclaw Common Room with a stack of parchments and random tomes of various subjects.

Two months later, I finally unlocked my ki and mastered Occlumency. My ki reserves wasn't that big yet, but I was definitely growing. I could use it to reinforce myself up to half an hour.

The Occlumency was a great boon. The fact that I could process things at much faster rate, could simultaneously focus on two different things, and could perfectly recall anything I need, were one of the best thing.

My grades were also top notch. I was either the first or second place among students in my year. The fact that my essays and homeworks written in detail yet simplified and not overly long, as well as able to grasp the spells' concept in short time became the reason of my achievement.

And of course, "great power comes with great sacrifice." I didn't believe on Spiderman quotes, so suck on that. Fortunately, my sacrifice (cost) was merely an increase in the amount of daily food intake.

Ki, also known as life force, is physical energy. Therefore, in order to use more ki, I need to consume more calories. More calories means more food. And with more recipes as bribe, the house elves gladly gave me even more food.

My training menu then shifted to more ki and non-ki based physical training, wandless and silent casting, as well as more later-year materials. In physical, I needed to increase my 'base stats' as well as my 'boost modifier' so-to-speak, gradual increase in the weights I wore was an intended side effect. In magic, I could wandlessly and silently cast all first and second year spells and some of third year ones.

By the time of Christmas holiday, my ki and mana reserves had grown much larger.

I returned home for Christmas holiday. Wait, that's so wrong in several levels. I was a street bum, a homeless. There's no building, except Hogwarts, with my name on its residents list.

Tom, the barman of Leaky Cauldron, gladly gave me minimum accommodation of a room, bath, and two daily meals -breakfast and dinner- in exchange of me working there part-time. During my free time, I continued to gather more coins while travelling around London -as far as my feet could reach. Because I used mass version of summoning charm, my current haul was greater than in previous summer.

During this time I also got myself some cloth bags, put some charms on it -durability, space extension, and featherweight. I went to random area in London -or perhaps further - and managed to fill the bags with sands and wood 'd make wonderful experiment materials when I returned to Hogwarts after new year.

With leftover money, some wandless mana manipulations, and sheer guts, I created a fake identity and bank account. Nothing big, just one or two wandless confudus equivalent to make sure that it wasn't suspicious in anyone's eyes.

Nothing much happened during second half of my first year, since it wasn't yet canon. The awesomeness of Hogwarts, which consisted of life and death struggles, would only happen when Harry bloody Potter is in Hogwarts. However, my training had yielded several results. Able to duplicate tree walking from Narutoverse was one of them. Using wandless and silent-casted sticking charm from my feet, invisibility charm on my whole body, and ki reinforcement to stabilise my body, I managed to do it.

My other training continued. And the house elves kept gave me take-out food. More mundane recipes were given.

According to canon, the Philosopher's Stone would be at Hogwarts in following year. Philosopher's Stone was one of the peak achievement of Alchemy. However, Hogwarts no longer offered Alchemy class. I, using the Room of Requirements, began to learn in Runes, Warding and Alchemy.

Occlumency plus time dilation chamber was a gamebreaker. By the end of the year, I was able to master wandless and silent casting for third and some of fourth year spells.

My progress with Alchemy was definitely good. I learnt the basic quickly and experimented with my own idea and materials I had collected. Alchemy was a difficult art, no doubt about it. However, separation of matter (purification) and several minor things were categorized as basics of alchemy. Tweak the alchemical formula a bit and technically it became intermediate instead of basic.

Wood pieces could be transmuted to papers. Done it several times and I no longer needed to buy blank papers. Cast one or two charm and I get empty books. Use heat on wood pieces, and you'd get charcoal. Add some materials plus charms and you got ink.

When you purify sand, you'd get fine sand. Apply heat and pressure at it, lots of heat and pressure, and you'd get Quartz crystals. Use purify on charcoal resulted on fine carbon. Use lots of heat and pressure on fine carbon, you'd get diamond.

Wizarding Britain was never aware of such possibilities, and they dared to call themselves as the best wizarding society. I call cyclops dung on that!

Ancient Runes wasn't an easy subject. Sure, it looked like nothing more than puzzle of symbols, but the sheer amount of combinations that could be made into "sentence(s)" with specific effect was mind blowing. Even more when there are more than one alphabets. My primary focus would be Futhark, then Hieroglyphs.

Warding came easier after properly learned Runes. Warding was, with certain exceptions, basically arranging runes in certain way, and thus resulted in a certain effect within designated area. It could be a wardstone with "battery" of sorts therefore need to regularly charged, wardstone powered with ambient mana, wardstone powered with leyline, or it could be multiple wardstones connected to a central wardstone. The effect also varied, from as simple as alarm ward that would warn the caster whenever someone enter the area, to the insanely complex ward that isolate an area as if it's entirely in different layer of reality.

Nasuverse Magecraft of bounded field gave me a lot of idea on what kind of ward to make and how to anchor it. It's all down to finding the right combination of runes and optimising them.

Boring classes continued until end year exam. All I needed to do was a little review, as I have mastered the materials ages ago. Well, technically it was months ago, but adding time dilation chamber into consideration…

Anyway, I tied with another Ravenclaw for first place. That person got one point higher for potion and astronomy while I got one point higher for charms and transfiguration.

Near the end of school year, I asked those little dudes and gals, the house elves, at kitchen. Well, since I was a good person, their words, two of them, one male and one female, would like to be my house elves. Hogwarts elves weren't bound to the headmaster and may leave when permitted by the Hogwarts itself -the castle was sentient, but most of its parts were inactive. Of course I gave them permission to continue working at Hogwarts when they feel they got not enough work at my home -the house elves liked to work in near fanatical level.

The school year finally ended when I hopped into the train at Hogsmeade station.

Oh, and I fully repaid my debt to Hooch.
