When the war between the races is finally over, the humans search for a new leader. They find it in an orphanage, but nothing is that simple in this world.

I'm not sure why I hadn't thought of this earlier as most my stories are basically Fantasy with a capital F so let me get right into it. What separates 'Fantasy' from 'Contemporary' works isn't just where it's set but also the level of contrivances that are allowed.

As I've said before, every story allows a certain level of contrived scenarios where Destiny and Fate are actually a thing. Fantasy stories in particular work best when you go all in on your imagination.

I know you all have had it drilled into your brains that a certain level of 'realism' is needed even in a fantasy story. However, what most mean by that isn't adding the laws of physics to your story but keeping it internally consistent with clear laws and limits.

I'm pretty sure you guys don't need a rundown in how society works because fantasy societies work the same way expect they have the word 'Magic' added to them. Do NOT rip off Elves and Dwarves from the Lord of the Rings and flex the creative muscles in your brain a little. There's no limit to the kind of magical races you can make in a Fantasy!

This also applies to magic. However, people only remember limitations more than what a persons using Magic System can generally do since 'magic is omnipotent unless proven otherwise'. There will be no narrative stakes or tension if you can't even make sure random nobodies aren't shooting off nukes and your main character isn't invincible beyond measure.

There are people who tend to overthink about how to write Fantasy since it's such a popular genre everyone and their dog is writing. You don't need someone else's guideline to write a Fantasy since most good Author's base them out of existing literature of the past or modern ones they are retelling using their own tropes and characters.

You'll never get anywhere if you need someone else to flex your creativity when looking into the past brings forth many mystical stories and myths that all wouldn't be possible without a little bit of magic sprinkled onto them. The classic LitRPG genre with stuff like Guilds and Adventures is popular to use nowadays but only because you don't have to explain much in a story that's so easy to figure out.

If you're going to use the LitRPG setting with dungeons and dragons, make sure you make it character driven and focus on people rather than explaining how fireballs work. The only reason Slime Reincarnation (That Time I Reincarnating As A Slime) or Sword Dad (I Was A Sword When I Reincarnated) are so popular is because behind the Power Fantasy are well-written and diverse characters.

If you want to write your own Fantasy World unique to only you, then it's best to start researching ways to ground it with your audience. These days people want to read about 'people' more than someone dumping lore about a fictional world they don't care about. Even pure Fantasy stories needs a protagonist that can be the reader's eyes and ears.

Now, thanks to the Isekai Boom, you may think that a main character HAS to be reincarnated for basically no reason whatsoever. However, that is ill-advised as people reincarnated for trivial reasons bore the audience to death. There's this Fantasy story about this non-reincarnated girl who was raised by Death himself in a regular medieval magic world, causing her to be a mix of creepy and cute all at the same time. This is an example of the kind of plots which are interesting BECAUSE their MC is a member of this world but special rather than some random guy from Earth who just so happens to be Isekai'd.

Isekai can be done right when the main character's rebirth or transportation into this world holds some sort of meaning. However, it can turn into a very boring story with maybe one or two gimmicks if you aren't even thinking of an ending for it.

Getting back to the main point: You seriously won't be able to write a Fantasy properly unless you at least know something about characters (If you haven't already figured that out already).

How the life of this character, under the special upbringing that only those of your Fantasy World go through, is interesting to the reader depends of where you take the tropes of your regular Fantasy.

You can go the 'Epic Fantasy' route, then copying the Hero's Journey is fine as long as you switch it up a bit. As long as you understand the fundamentals of a Hero's Journey and not look at it as the ONLY WAY TO TELL A STORY then you're on the right track.

Those who are wondering what a Hero's Journey is can find the link at the bottom. Also try searching for Dan Harmon's Story Circle for a more character driven version of it on YouTube. Anyway, this trope is basically the origin of the whole 'Chosen One' trope.

As for what I meant by Epic Fantasy, it is actually quite beloved type of story for many who love the Fantasy genre. It could be about the journey about a chosen one destined to defeat a Big Baddy like Eragon, Lord of the Rings, etc. There are even shorter and more simplified versions of this which is basically where the 'Hero Vs Demon King' trope came from. As long as there's a quest fraught with danger then people would love to read about a chosen one being able to win against their foes.

Another route you can take is Dark Fantasy, where all the lovely tales of HP Lovecraft comes from. His stories may lean more on the spectrum of supernatural tales about Dark Gods and Cults but the way everything seems to be ripped out of a nightmare is what I'm trying to focus on. If a regular Fantasy is like a dream then a Dark Fantasy is one you'd rather avoid since the world is screwed up.

And I don't mean the characters are screwed up or insane by any means, I literally mean either the Magic System or how society works is genuinely screwed up. Read 'Dungeon Seeker' as an example of this (Warning: Don't read it if you don't want to pollute your innocent mind with all the corruption in this story). Either way, it could be the Magic System relies on the blood of orphans, or it could be you have to kill a loved every time you cast a spell. The main point is that this Fantasy World is just hell.

Now, I could move on to Urban Fantasy and other sub-genres, but that would be wasting my time and yours since TV Tropes exists for a reason. Just remember what I've said and have a clear goal in beginning and end planned for your character's development and you'll be fine. There's nothing better than a story that's focused after all.

This is a story I worked on ages ago that has been refined and edited by adding foreshadowing to events while also simplifying the power system better than before. This story can be considered a prequel to An Adventure Beyond Greatness as it takes place years prior to the events of that story.

Short Synopsis:
After retiring from the battlefield, my life became empty and lifeless. The regrets of my past haunt me in my sleep. Then a change occurred, a King from another world summoned me to fight for his kingdom, but I died even before I could give him my answer. Now, after a fake God allowed me to reincarnate (albeit imperfectly) with my memories intact, into a world filled with magic and swords.

Long Synopsis:
This is about a flawed protagonist who only knew to rely on others and not socialise who gets a second chance to change himself in order to live the life he aimed for in his past life. The narrator isn’t exactly trustworthy since it is purely in his bias perspective while other perspectives given by others fill in the blanks that he either leaves out or twists to suit the situation.

The story itself can be considered a parody of Isekai’s classic tropes which are given a sense of reality as time goes by. As there exists no ‘Demon Lord’, there is also no black and white, only characters opinions and counter-opinions throughout the story.

Look, I wasn't planning on posting this but here we go. I've always found it ever so slightly troublesome that the only genres under female lead are: Urban, History, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Teen, and LGBTQ+. 
While on the other hand, the genres under male lead are: Urban, Fantasy, History, Horror, Sci-Fi, Sports, and Games. 
Why is there even a difference in the first place regarding genres for each lead? And get this, Urban female lead displays as Contemporary Romance, History female lead displays Historical Romance, Fantasy displays as Fantasy Romance, Sci-Fi turns into Sci-Fi romance, and Teen stays teen which is good and so does LGBTQ+. 
This begs the question to me of why a history genre with a female lead HAS to have romance? Why does a fantasy story with a female lead HAS to have romance? It doesn't make any sense to me as to why it's required. 
For another thing, take a look at the male lead side of things. They have extra genres like Horror, Sports, and Games. For some reason, LGBTQ+ has completely disappeared. This has made me run into issues where my story, Nights Like These, has a female lead and is a horror story. It makes no sense at all.
Anyways, I digress. Back to the main point. Urban for male lead displays as Magical Realism, Fantasy displays as Fantasy, History displays as History, Horror displays as Horror, Sci-Fi displays as Sci-Fi, Sports displays as Competitive Sports, and Games displays as Video Games. 
Uh, what? Nothing of that makes any sense to me - they don't even have anything romance-related! Why is there a huge difference between the possible genres for female leads and male leads? It doesn't make sense. 
Why can't a romance story be told from the perspective of the guy? Why does every genre girl related have to involve romance? Why can't the genres for sports, horror and games be for female leads as well? Why is LGBTQ+ only limited to female leads? 
My brain is getting fried from thinking about it all. 
As my last point, I'll be sure to create a male lead romance. Mark my words.

The story is called "Quest For Furry", a comical adventure story that combines elements of the fantasy and action genres with smutty content. However, before I write this story, I want to clarify that this book is not aimed at children. This story is a trashy erotic fantasy with a nonsensical story. Although, despite having anthropomorphic animals as the main protagonists, this series is not for young children. It is aimed at older teenagers and adult audience. Good day to the wonderful readers of this story, Fatal Fantasy. I am very sorry to tell you this but I am dropping Fatal Fantasy in the meantime... The reason for this is because I didn't really like how the characters, setting, and generally, how the story turned out; therefore, I quickly lost interest and my inspiration to write went down accordingly. It's just a common problem with any beginner author such as myself that very much wants his first novel or book to become a perfect masterpiece that will be the next best thing (in his own opinion).

But the fans of this story don't have to worry all that much because I will be picking Fatal Fantasy back up in the future and rewrite it to make the story even better than what it is now! I can assure you of that as my standards of writing are very high. You either go all out or don't do it at all is how I approach my creative works.

On that note, I would like to announce that I am writing a new story called "I Reincarnated on Earth, But Got Summoned Back to My Previous World!" Please do check it out if you have the time.

Another thing to mention is that I'm currently studying in college right now, so I don't have that much free time to write on Webnovel. My college degree is my number one priority, and it's much more important and substantial than this passion of mine. First,  I want to thank every one of you who had been with me on this journey.  To show you my appreciation, I would like to tell you a little bit about myself.   Many of you already know that I'm Filipino. 

So, here goes my story.  
Caution:  My story is a little sad, but have a happy ending.😂

My family originated from two parts of the Philippines.  Antique and Leyte.  However, I was born and raised in Rizal Province in Manila.  I have many siblings. When I say many I'm not joking, it's the truth. 

 My Father 😇(God bless his soul) is a philanderer.  Before he finally got shot-gun, wedding to my Mother,😇 (God bless her soul as well) he already had Seven different (Panganay) 'Oldest child' from different mothers.

To make a very. Very. Long story short, ( You never know, I might write my story in the future) we often had to go without many things.  While other children road Tricycle (Motorcycle with a sidecar) to school, I had to walk.  There were times that I went to school without [Baon] Allowance and lunch to eat.  That's how destitute my family were.

But you know what? It never prevented me from wanting to learn; it made me more determine to get an education to have a brighter future.  

I guess due to my circumstances during that time; I started making all kinds of make-believe story in my mind and lived in that fantasy world.  I did that since young and still do now.  Whenever I'm struggling or unhappy about anything.  I go to my fantasy world and stay there until I feel better and ready to live back in the real world.

Not lifting my own Bangko (chair) during elementary school, I always scored the highest in the test. Especially, Reading and Writing. 'Tagalog' subject only ok! 

Now you all know where I get my passion for writing.  When I write, I'm in my fantasy world.  In this world, all of you are part of it.  When you read what I write, praise or critics how bad my writing is, I feel it all.  I get sad, happy, and overjoy.  Lot's and lots of emotion, in which I pour into my story.

The overwhelming emotion that surged to my being is unexplainable in word nor writing when I first posted my very first draft.  It felt like when I had my first puppy love, turned crush, and as I got older, it became the first love, then falling-in-love. 

I was bursting with happiness when I saw that someone read what I wrote.  It was a very long tiring day at work, and I needed a boost of anything to keep me going.  During my lunch break, I checked my stat and: "Oh! My God! I almost choke from the pork adobo I was chewing.  I got more than one thousand people reading my first chapter. I was shocked and thrilled at the same time.  Unbelievable! To have these many people read what I write. I was dumbfounded

Unfortunately, I'm just like everyone else in this world. Has many responsibilities on my shoulder and have much priority over my passion for writing.  I do have to make a living so I can provide for my family and they can live a better life than when I was young.

I want to write as much I can because life in this fantasy world is so beautiful.  I can make it. However, I want it to be.  On top of that, I am journeying with many friends along with me. "All my readers."

Now here we are together writing our story, living in our fantasy world to get out of this mundane reality.  I hope and pray that when this novel become Premium that everyone will continue the journey with me.  Please, keep your support!
