Today was the day June 3rd, 2039, the day the beta for the brand-new game "Rise Of Dragons" would be released to 100,000 people across the world. "Rise of Dragons" was a Fantasy VRMMO set in a post-apocalypse version of earth. On this day millions of people spent the whole day refreshing their emails to see if they were accepted into the beta. At exactly 3:00 Pm the "Silver Dragon Corporation" sent out 100,000 emails to 100,000 different people.
 
In a large bedroom 3 teenagers sat refreshing and waiting to see if they had gotten into the beta. Of these 3 teenagers the first was a average height boy with dirty blond hair that had a silver streak dyed into it at the front named Tony Oliver and this bedroom was his. In Tony's room there was also his 2 closest friends, Jack Grimm, and Ella Kane. Jack was the same height as Tony and looked very similar to him they were very often confused for each other even with the silver streak in Tony's hair. Ella was a very petit girl with long black hair and dark green eyes. At 3:00 PM these teens had almost given up, Ella was the first one that saw it, an email from "Silver Dragon Corp" in that moment the two boys also refreshed to find a copy of the email in their inboxes. The email they all received read, "Congratulations, you have been accepted to the beta of Rise of Dragons. As you know to stop alt accounts, we will be linking your mind and body directly to your account with a small nerve implant into your spine, to get the implant please report to your nearest Silver Dragon Corporation shop." The teens immediately started to celebrate they could not wait to play the new game. Based on what the Email said the three teens rushed and biked down the road to the only "Silver Dragon Corp" shop in the area rushing into the shop as fast as they could, upon entering they confirmed their identity for the person at the counter along with showing the email that they had received. In the store the teens were taken to a back room where they signed multiple agreements to get the implant and were given an anesthetic to help with the pain as a device was attached to their nervous system at the base of their necks, after 2 hours of recovery in the back area of the shop they were allowed to return home. Upon returning to Tony's house the trio could now wait to test out their brand new game so they plugged in the power and activated their new implants.

As a member of the limited beta for the latest VR game "Antony (Tony) Oliver" starts on his journey to become the top player of this game as he has done with so many games before. Tony finds more than just an adventure, he also uncovers many dangerous secrets that threaten him in the real world.

"Ms. Henderson, With your permission, can I see those gold eyes under those pitched glasses?" He asked me in a serious, but cocky way, holding his drink in his hand, while his smirk became darker and darker, as he stared at me intensely, his light brown hair, slicked back just a bit, was now ruffled and wavy, after he unprofessionally ruffled it around, making it look like his old hair.


My lips parted, gasping slightly, but quietly, as he chuckled, looking at his drink, before darting his eyes back to mine. 

How did he not know? Out of everyone in this world he should've known why I kepted these thick black shades on.

That made me pissed, knowing he didn't know. Or he did, and he was just fucking with me.

 I clenched my jaw, feeling anger buldge inside my stomach, twisting and turning, feeling rage fill my body, and I let it.

Suddenly, before he could blink, I got up and leaned over the seat, making him jump slightly as I grabbed his black tie, and pulled him, making him spill his drink in his black suit and pants.

It then did a small 'thunk' on the crimson shaded carpeted floor, the only sound that happened so far, before it then went back to the nasty silence, music booming softly from downstairs.

I chuckled, with no humor, before I then slowly took the glasses off, and said, my voice going dark, as I said each word slowly, "You should know why I wear these Jordan..."

I looked at him, and his eyes widen a bit, before I finished sourly, my black beady souless eyes reflecting off his glimmering green ones, " You were, after all, the one who did this to me."

The elders and king where The only ones still alive as the pressure from Ryjin Spiked and killed the rest The elders Did not answer Ryjin but the king made the mistake.
Native King- we are the lords of this world Not u ancient gods your power shall be are's now and forever -he tried to stand only to be Face first with Ryjin as Ryjin literally Grabed the base of the Kings spine from behind as Ryjin slowly Pulled it out Like a predator- The elders seeing there king killed so easy started to beg but Ryjin simply Closed his fist as the elders seemed to be squashed to death.
Ryjin- Ok kids how about we get out of here you should take me to ya camp or home or whatever so I can figure shit out.
Kusanagi- Yeah sure come with us maybe with your help we can get are mates back and even get off this damn land.
That piqued Ryjins interest this land meaning these guys were stuck here ???? as they walked the teens asked Ryjin many questions about who was he what was he doing in that box BUT Kusanagi had asked the question that was most of all thoughts He asked What is he Ryjin then explained he was a god and also an emperor and as such the teens got Hyped overhearing of magic and all these powers and such after about 2 hours they reached the teens camp to see it was not too shabby considering they are stranded.
as they made their way into the camp many teens came running asking Kusanagi questions like where they were and such and who the unknown guy was the adults that were in the camp were also asking such things and some adult men even said Ryjin should leave but Ryjin just ignored them which annoyed them but Kusanagi then asked Ryjin if he could help them by giving them loads of food to help Re nourish them This got all the teens attention as all they saw was Ryjin wave his arm and a MOUNTAIN OF FOOD AND DRINKS APPEARED.
the teens were amazed and jumped and dug in with Glee ryjin smiled at this the adults tho where more Guarded as they became Jealous and envious of Ryjin but the adult females were good Like the teens and Thanked him and dug in the adult men out of the 50 only 10 were nice and humble and honestly Nice the 40 others Tried to Hoard the food and take more for them self's at this Ryjin denied them any food they complained but again Ryjin just ignored them.
all the rest did not know why Ryjin was targeting them, men, specifically but they all agreed Them men where annoying and the laziest Pricks who did nothing but expected food and drink with no effort in getting any but from the sky, the clouds started to swirl and Red Lightning gathered as 2 Great Crimson Tornados formed and landed beside Ryjin as Sys and Draco came out and Ryjin smiled at them and they bombarded him with questions as to his health and well being.
Kusanagi was Interested in the 2 newcomers and went to talk with them and ask questions after a few hours all knew who and what they where Kusanagi was Enormed by the prospect of other world's dimensions universes and other race's.
Ryjin had spread his sense's out as did Sys and Draco and what they found Interested them Greatly Ryjin Looked to Kusanagi and spoke.
Ryjin- Hey kid How long have you and all the passengers been on this island and what was the world like before you ended up here ?????.
Kusanagi went on to answer and explain then asked why Ryjin told him and all and it terrified them all.
Ryjin- Cause on this world right now there is up and over 9 trillion Undead on this world and the Living number roughly around maybe 100 million Spread all over the world a lot of places are Dieing from what I can tell ????.
Sys and Draco left to the mainland to see what was going on a few days later they came back and told Ryjin and the survivers that the entire world had been Taken by the Undead there are pockets of living all over but there is no form of Leadership its a free for all.
Ryjin offered the good people a place in Draconis the assholes in his eyes were left behind they agreed after Ryjin helped them home to see if any relatives where alive after about 3 weeks Ryjin Had the good people go threw a portal to Draconis and have his council get them settled in before he left tho He eyed the Natives Area and He wanted to Kill them bout 90% where innocent and had no idea about what the elders did he could not kill them for being innocent as he waved his hand and all how where Not innocent dropped dead with there hearts and brains exploded on the inside.
Kusanagi and his 5 mates became great friends with Wulf and all 7 went back to the fantasy world to continue Wulf's campaign the teens where Loving every minute of it Ryjin was now however face to face with 3 Very annoyed women and 1 angry alien women.

Once the production budget of Balala the Fairies was determined, the next thing on the list was to ask for money from the parent company.
Mr. Old Meng was very generous. He even gave Meng Lang an extra 10 million, fearing that the 20 million wouldn't be enough to cover the production as well as the PR.
With the 30 million in his pocket, Meng Lang was very confident!
"I'm a rich man now!"
This was going to be a major production of 30 million!
How attractive that sounded!
When the news of Pengda Pictures setting out to make Balala the Fairies got out, many acting agencies sent their congratulations. While they were at it, they all tactfully asked about the show to consider who their agences for the leading role of the show would be.
Only so many TV works were made each year and a handful of them might have had a production cost of over 10 million. A project like Balala the Fairies was doubtlessly a show of quality.
Since Pengda Pictures had no contracted actors or actresses of its own, the company could only find them elsewhere.
The news of the leading and supporting roles opening for auditions became sensational right away.
The show required child actresses.
And there would be two leading female roles.
And it was by the company that had made Blazing Teens.
And it was going to be a fantasy feature series that targeted teenage audiences.
Those working in the TV industry were all intrigued when they heard those elements.
Was the company going to replicate the success of Blazing Teens? Apart from the theme and the leading roles, this show seemed to have the same pattern as Blazing Teens!
"If something like this can become a hit show, I'll eat sh*t on screen! Live!"
A certain famous director, who had been face-slapped by the miraculous viewing rate of Blazing Teens, made an announcement again.
He said that the audience might try a piece of sh*t out of the need of hunting for novelty, but once they had done that, they would never repeat it again.
He believed that Pengda Pictures would be dreaming if they tried to replicate the success of Blazing Teens.
This new show might have been more promising if Blazing Teens had received widely spread public praise, for with a previous similar work that had been well-received, the audience would more or less have some expectations for the new one.
However, the opinion on Blazing Teens was…
On Sprout, the largest movie and TV rating website, over a million people had rated Blazing Teens and the average point was 4.1!
That was 4.1 out of 10!
That director admitted that he had been mistaken about Blazing Teens's reception, but he stuck to his opinion that Blazing Teens was a crappy show. The ratings on Sprout only reassured him.
The show had been rated by a million people and only got 4.1 out of 10. What else could it be if not a crappy show?
He was convinced that this crappy show had succeeded because it was a first of its kind. People had been intrigued and were curious to find out what a "yo-yo" was.
However, once the audience had been tricked once, he believed that they wouldn't fall for it a second time.
During an interview with some reporters, the director said with remarkable voice and expression that he trusted the audience could tell a good show from a crappy one.
He claimed that one could tell that Balala the Fairies was Blazing Teens in a different version! "If a show like that can become a hit, I'll retire right away, because if that happens, it means that the audience are voting with their feet. That in turn proves that directors like me, who's putting in all my effort in my works, can no longer survive in the market. If that's true, what else can I do apart from retiring?"
Once that interview was out, it went sensational over the internet.
One had to admit that this Director Feng had become Meng Lang's "patron". If it hadn't been for the fact that Meng Lang didn't know this Director Feng at all, he would begin to suspect that the latter was some free-lance member of Pengda Pictures.
Back when Blazing Teens was about to be aired, it lacked exposure because of the absence of PR.
What happened then was that Director Feng had made a veiled abuse at Blazing Teens, which had not been broadcasted yet. He insulted the show, calling it "pigwash".
The result of all that noise was that the exposure Director Feng brought to himself also raised the profile of Blazing Teens the same way a 10-million PR campaign would!
The same thing happened again this time. Balala the Fairies hadn't even started shooting yet, but the news of casting alone had attracted the attention of this "volunteer publicist", who then gave the show a free advertisement again.
After everything he said, at least 10 million people in the country knew about Balala the Fairies!
What on earth had Penda Pictures ever done to him?
He was a movie director, specializing in Spring Festival themed movies. Why wouldn't he leave this show alone? They didn't even belong to the same circle!
Moreover, his ranting meant that Pengda Pictures had had a promotion campaign without spending a dime!
Meng Lang almost wanted to send that director a silk banner that said "Good Samaritan".
What a helpful guy!
If only he wasn't so foul-mouthed.
But that didn't matter. He had been advertising the show for free and Meng Lang couldn't care less about his politeness.
As for calling the show "crappy", Meng Lang was in peace with that comment. So what if some people found the show hot mess? It had never been for them.
The ratings on Sprout?
What the hell was that?
Was Pengda Pictures getting extra income for higher ratings or could it be converted to viewing rates?
For those who went on and on about the 4.1 Blazing Teens got, they had forgotten about one thing.
Of the 1 million or so users, how many of them were the target audience of Blazing Teens?
A bunch of people, who had graduated from primary school at least a decade ago, were rating Blazing Teens? Didn't they find it a joke? What was the point of those ratings anyway?
Meng Lang had learned to turn a blind eye on that director's comment.
He would never clear things up in public, for there was nothing to clear up. As subjective as that director's comment was, his analysis wasn't wrong, from an adult's perspective.
Balala the Fairies was indeed Blazing Teens in a different outfit and was equally crudely made.
"But unless you're buying the toys, shut up already!"

Thanks to the attention a certain director brought, Balala the Fairies was hyped up even before it was broadcasted.
At least that was the case on Weibo.
From Pengda Pictures' perspective, it was a good thing. At the end of the day, the showbiz was a vanity fair. No attention was bad attention.
The casting went smoothly.
Although the show was said to be a crappy-show-to-be, with its "big budget" of 30 million and its attractive salaries, more than enough actors and actresses were willing to join the crew.
Ling Meiqi and Ling Meixue, the sisters and leading roles of the show, went to two child stars. Meng Lang had seen their pictures in costumes. They looked the part and both could act well.
The only downside was that they were quite expensive.
Apart from Meiqi and Meixue, the actresses playing Blue Fairy and Moon Fairy had also been decided.
Meng Lang picked a girl named Lin Xue himself for the role Yan Lili.
Lin Xue had also started off as a child star, but went back to school after working on two TV series. After Meng Lang saw her in person, he went to great lengths to persuade Lin Xue's parents to let her act again.
The fairy queen and other supporting roles were all given to extras from Hengdian.
Once they found the right people for those roles, Prince Fun was the only one left unfilled.
Because Prince Fun wore a mask in most of his scenes and the fact that he didn't have many scenes to begin with, not many actors were interested in the role.
But Meng Lang didn't feel confident enough to give it an extra.
After all, it was an important role with some "meme" factor in him. An extra might not have been able to translate it well…
Meng Lang was still hesitating when Wang Kui suggested. "Director Meng, how about you play the role as a guest star?"
"Me? Prince Fun?" Meng Lang was surprised.
It sounded doable!

Balala the Fairies, Explosive Boys, Kamen Rider… Meng Lang is determined to become “King of feature shows” in this world. Although, to the critics, he is nothing but a toy vender…

You have to be brave with your choices so you can find out what you actually like. Me? I like fantasies and [fantasy]romances that are actually good. That's why I write them. HOWEVER. Some people aren't brave and they read what gross fangirl teens read. I didn't like the fact that boys can like each other, until I was introduced to Yaoi. I punished myself, and now I respect gays, lesbians, ect. because my friends and a cousin of mine are Bi. Sorry I ramble a lot.
Anyway, read things that seem interesting, but don't always judge a book by it's cover. Be adventurous with your reading choices.

Hello my fellow writers/readers and thanks to all who have read this book over the past two & half years. The novel has undergone minor changes multiple times before but there's a new change coming that will benefit the novel and series going forward. For those who may have liked the book in its current version and for those who by chance didn't, there is another version of the book coming in 2021. For the past several months I have been working out the overall story arch of the series; after much deliberation I decided to go back & revise/retool certain aspects of the main plot-line and do a considerable amount of World-building. I chose to do this because I started writing this whole series back in 2006-2007 and I was only in my late teens at the time, to me personally the book didn't really read like it was written from a mature/experienced writer. 

So, since I've been taking courses for Creative Writing at Southern New Hampshire University for some time now I've gained a lot of experience as an author. Because of this I felt that the only way to truly be able to continue to write the series that I've spent half my life working on was to go back and write the story the way I envisioned back when I was a teenage, except that now I have the experience and skills needed to tackle this. Now, with me saying there's a new version or what I've been calling a 'Definitive Edition' on my social media pages doesn't mean that 'Dawn of the Gatekeepers' is being scraped, you can still purchase it if you choose at @Smashwords.com/books/view/893010. This new version of the book is: 1. Going to be the same story that's in 'Dawn of the Gatekeepers'  right now & 2. This new version will be in the category of Epic Fantasy, whereas the current version is more YA themed. 

As of now 'Dawn of the Gatekeepers' has a 63,620 word count, which puts it in the category of YA Fantasy. This new version titled 'Millennium' will have around a 110,000 word count. 'Millennium' will open up completely different vs how 'Dawn of the Gatekeepers' does. 'Dawn' throws the reader into the middle of the story and has the reader following multiple time lines that Catch up to each other as the plot moves forward, 'Millennium' however opens with the 'inciting incident'/'call to adventure' within the opening chapters whereas 'Dawn' doesn't, but instead has you on a quest with the main characters to figure out what caused the inciting incident only to show it later on in the book. This wasn't initially how I intended to tell the story. Initially 'Dawn' was just a Novella that I wrote as a companion piece to the first book that I wrote in 2010 which is now a soon to published spin-off novel of 'Millennium'. Unfortunately, I caught a very, very bad case of writers block; the weird thing was that I could write other projects just not anything Gatekeepers related.  So I ended up writing origin stories for multiple characters as weekly assignments for my creative writing intro course at the time, ironically all those characters became either main characters or secondary characters within 'Dawn' a year or so later.

So to sum it all up, 'Millennium' is the broader/more immersive version of 'Dawn of the Gatekeepers'. Its the same story, but more descriptive, more world building, and the main character 'Alicia Iminz' will be written from first person perspective instead of third person. I decided that to give readers a more immersive feel to the book it would be best to do this. Plus its not fun writing everyone in third person and with this new format for writing the main character you the 'reader' will be able to know who your supposed to care about, you'll be able to get inside the head of the main character and gain an understanding of the world the she and the rest of the cast inhabit.

In the distant future mankind has achieved a multitude of technological milestones, created a method of FTL known as ‘Millennium Drives’ and have been discovered by intelligent life from outside of the Milky Way Galaxy. Unbeknownst to the mortal realm a young woman from another realm has risen from the ashes of her tyrannical ‘Overlords’ and will soon leave her mark upon the universe.

Centuries in the future within a realm unknown to mortals, a malicious war wages on between the Celestial kingdoms of Paradia. There are the oppressive God Collective; descendants of an ancient Celestial race who are committed to purging the Five Realms of the self-righteous and divine Goddesses. After a millennium of war and casualties in the hundreds of millions, the Collective and Goddesses called a cease fire and signed a treaty which stated the two sides would govern over Paradia together. The Goddesses were reluctant at first, but after concluding that the Collective’s military was exhausted and with their own forces dwindling, they signed. The Goddesses chose to sign the treaty because two of their council members had foreseen events within the future that would cause war to plague Paraida again. Only this time they would have an army led by a mysterious warrior whose face was shrouded in darkness, with neither council member able to identify them. So, the Goddesses stayed vigilant as they ruled Paradia alongside the Collective as they waited for their time to come.

That time would come almost two thousand years later during a time of relative calm throughout the realms. Over the millennia the Collective used their armies to oppress the populace of their respective kingdoms. This oppression came in the form of stringent workforce directives, children being enforced into hard labor conditions, an increase in taxes and fear being used to break the will of the citizens. But all of this would be unseen by the Collective as their greatest threat had just been discovered. Viennashal Iminz, a Goddess of the High Council and supreme ruler of Galaxia Prime has been keeping her daughter Alicia hidden away within the kingdom for years unbeknownst to the Collective, but this young Celestial has the blood of mortals coursing through her veins. Viennashal attempted to keep her daughter’s existence a secret, but the Collective had spies everywhere.
