Boston is a unique but familiar city to anyone who has stepped foot in the city limits.

These are the stories of Boston Massachusetts and the strange but interesting citizens of the city.
Everyone is looking for something like love, wealth, power, or purpose; everyone has a different reason for being here but these stories are don't really make any sense as a collective series unless you 
Finish the entire story.

First, thank you for considering reading my webnovel, Born A Monster.
Let me go over what this novel is and more importantly, isn't, so that you don't read partway through and then go away disappointed.
The origin story and Servant of the Axe are about a young, growing hero, coming to realize the harsh reality into which he has been born.  If you want a competent hero, you want the later books, The Crafter and Sheng Ishiko (by Ping).
Although this is a story about a world where people grow with their System abilities, it is not an Isekai novel.  The closest I come to this is Terran Diaspora, when the main character finally leaves the reality of his birth to explore new horizons.
In any event, this isn't a story where the main character is the only one with a System, something that propels him to world dominance.  In fact, his System actually imposes limits upon him, eventually becoming something he has to fix and remake.  His System is not sentient, or intuitive, and it runs by its own rules, which don't often have his best interests in mind.  Because he is a shape-changer, his System also adapts, often trying to reflect the world as he perceives it.
Growth in ALL of these novels is SLOW.  If you want your hero to gain something every ten chapters, where he's throwing thunderbolts at the gods, then this isn't the series you want to read.  Likewise, the character sometimes loses momentum as the events of the story don't go his way.  Athal is, as closely as I can make it, a living world, and it does NOT revolve around the main character.
Many of the characters are NOT human, to include the main character.  Please do not mistake them as humans who just have different bodies.  Although NOT a cultural anthropologist, I have started from a set of core beliefs for each race, some of which are alien to humanity.
Also, although he has some higher cerebral functions, the main character does not start as a full mental and emotional adult.  Again, read The Crafter and later if that is something you require of your main character.
Example:  The character Kismet was not made from people, but from four cats.  I added energy and optimism, and then took the Mwarri race, giving them linguistic skills and the sincere belief that they were members of civilization.  So, you will see behaviors that SEEM human, and then she will act in an entirely inhuman way (such as hitting the main character in the eye to relieve her irritation and then not understanding why he thinks of it as a hostile action later).
Although this is a fantasy setting, containing goblins and kobolds, orcs and dragons, elves and dwarves and countless other species, I do not "copy paste" from Tolkien.  So if you expect to just know that "she's an elf", and think you can understand that character's outlook and motivation, you are in for a surprise.  I've tried to make that a pleasant, natural-seeming surprise, but just know that if you enter the novel with expectations of generic fantasy that you may be disappointed with what you actually find.
The main character chooses a bizarre appearance (shown now on the cover art), and often suffers from it.  Humans, in particular, think of him as not-an-actual-person.  So, he doesn't gain any great status and certainly not the harem that main characters of other web novels gain.  
I have tried, at every juncture, to give each named character two positive and two negative traits.  So if you're looking for a novel where there are clearly defined good and evil, this is probably not the best web novel for you.
But enough with the warnings, let's get to what's good.  Why would you WANT to read this series?
The main character, and outlooks of the people he encounters, are believable within the context of the series.  Each character, however narrow minded (and there are a LOT of those), is not just a one-outlook, flat personality.  I have tried to assign positive and negative traits based upon the sort of personality that would choose to grow into the person they are when they are first encountered.
Although not a character itself, I have tried to detail and develop the world, independent of the main character's actions.  Although he has an effect, his is not the only effect, and the world does not revolve around him and his perceptions or desires.
As the world has no refrigeration or magical equivalent, nor many other modern conveniences, I've tried to keep that in mind, with different foods being available in different seasons.  I don't dwell on what the world doesn't have, mainly because as someone born into that world, the main character wouldn't find that as something missing or lacking.  It's just part of the world.
Magic, although easy to use at the simplest level, is not a passive force.  It has its own momentum, its own idea of how the world should change in its presence.  This isn't a world where wizards fly above the masses, hurling destructive fireballs around with wild abandon.  Mages will use their magic with subtlety, and not at all when that option is available to them.  Magic is DANGEROUS, and not just to those angering the magic user.
I'm sure I'll think of other things to add to the disclaimer later, but based on the comments I've gotten from readers so far, these are the major expectation versus reality.  So if this work is too far off from what you want to read, go find that series and read the hell out of it.

'The cutest in the Omniverse?' The being asked without any change in their tone of voice, making it seem like it wasn't an absurd question.

Though that was mainly due to its experience and multiple encounters of the absurd he had previously experienced from other candidates, there were things much more absurd that other candidates had asked or requested before.

'You can certainly become the cutest in the Omniverse, but unfortunately, the points required is higher than what you have and is actually even higher than what any other candidate had ever received.'

His enthusiasm did not decrease despite being told so as he only wanted to confirm the possibility as he wasn't stupid as to think that becoming the cutest was so simple.

"I'm alright with that, but before anything else can you elaborate on things like what world I would be going to, or would I also be able to choose it? Also, I'd like to ask how we would be sent into the world, will we be sent as a newborn or an adult? Can we choose what race we can become, also can we..." question after question was asked not about the abilities and powers he would be able to purchase but about the details on the world he would be going to and the procedures before going.

He knew that abilities, powers, and skills were the most important when going to another world since the majority of protagonists in these types of stories are unfamiliar with hardships and would have immense difficulty adjusting to such a different environment where death is extremely common, though he was imagining typical fantasy worlds with medieval level of technology and human rights, but he knew that the second most important thing was the beginning, where everything starts.

Of the novels he's read, part of them would have the protagonist start in a favorable situation or location such as in the middle of a field with a road leading to a nearby city, or starting off as the child of noble, or even just having overpowered abilities at the start. The other part would be the novels he actually enjoys such as evolution novels where the protagonists start off as the weakest and useless of monsters and have to fight their way through life-threatening monsters to reach the top to survive.

With his experience in reading all those novels, he had asked all those questions and started formulating a plan on how to take advantage of the start of his new life. Midway through his question, the being had interrupted him with an answer he should have expected if he had remembered what they had said near the start.

'Candidate should be pleased to know that all that you have asked is possible due to being included as what you are able to purchase, we understand the importance to the start of your new life and also the reluctance to spend your points on a seemingly temporary thing such as your beginnings.

'We have thus decided to gift a budget of points to all candidates to be spent on the world you desire, how you would be transferred such as becoming a newborn as keeping your current body, the state of your physical being such as being young or old, and the location you would be transferred at, you may also choose the general circumstances of your birth, such as being born into a wealthy or poor family.

'Things such as becoming other races will also be supported by the budget as we do not wish to limit our candidates, and of course, you may use your own points outside of the budget if needed'

His mind was racing as he was thinking of a million things confirming that there were little to no limitations on what he could choose, so he went for the classics.

"Okay then... can you find me a world where it is multiple times the size of the earth and has technology and magic mixed in to create magitech? So kinda like a sci-fi slash fantasy world with monsters and space exploration..."

'Multiple worlds of the description have been found and before you can ask, I am not allowed to reveal the number of worlds of that description due to the rules, at this point you are able to randomize the selection and the world chosen will be locked in. You are also able to add on more points if you were to randomize you would be using 13% of your allocated budget'

13% was still an acceptable amount so he decided to add more details.

"Uhm... Alien civilizations are common?"

'22%, possible worlds have been reduced by 64%'

It was a little surprising that just adding that would increase the cost by 9% and decrease the number of possible worlds by two thirds, but he didn't plan to adjust it as he didn't want to be limited to one world, that was also the reason why he had wanted his starting world to be bigger than the earth.

"Speaking of which, what's the size of the smallest world in amongst all of them if you can tell me?"

'It is 2.032 times bigger than the earth as I assumed on your behalf when you said multiple times bigger'

"Still too small for my liking... Increase it to a minimum of... 3.5 times?" He asked unsurely, though he wanted to go to other planets, he wanted to train himself on his home planet first by experiencing every inch of it.

'Cost increased to 24.5%, possible worlds reduced by an additional 7%'

Luckily it seems like size doesn't matter too much when it comes to selecting a world. Not wanting to spend any more of his free budget of points, he decided to stop there and randomize the world.

"You can go ahead and randomize now...please lady luck...don't screw me over..." While praying to the mischievous god of luck, he hoped that the world he was going too didn't have any unexpected variables, like if the only sapient creatures on his home planet were goblins, he didn't want to conform to goblins definition of cute!

He had slightly regretted not adding the detail that humans are one of the main sapient creatures as he had stupidly assumed that every world would have one, but it was too late now as a big 'Randomizing World...' was seen on his middle monitor.

After a tense couple of seconds which felt like forever, A big blue and green planet that looked totally different from earth appeared on his monitor, it had many more continents than the earth with most of them being even larger than the ones on earth, along with a countless number of islands that covered the planets like pimples.

The two other screens on the monitor lit up as it showed the statistics of the world such as being called Vanterio being 5.49 times bigger than the earth, the major countries in the world, the basic history of the world that even a child would understand and other tidbits of useful information.

It also showed the sapient races in the world which included humans and... humans and...?

On the list that stated 'Sapient Races' there was only one line which said humans, though he was extremely relieved that he didn't get an unexpected race, as even becoming an elf or dwarf would have been fine, he still wanted a diverse number of sapient races since he had asked for a fantasy mixed with sci-fi world.

As if reading his thoughts, the otherworldly being spoke up. 'Sadly, since you did not specify on other races being included, or any race for that matter, I had included worlds that had one main race. The candidate should know that despite the fantasy genre including other races as the norm, fantasy is a much more broad term than that and thus did not affect the search results too much.

He flinched upon hearing so, thinking back on it he has read tons and tons of fantasy books where humans were the only race, such as a novel set in the modern-day where people suddenly get magic powers. He sighed from his blunder and could only plan to be more careful in his wording next time.

'While all I have said is unchangeable, It does not mean that there are no other sapient races in your world, as the information you see is only the basic complementary information we are obliged to provide, and you are able to gain more by spending more of your budget.'

"Wait, so you're saying that other races may exist but they're hidden? Like living in closed-off communities or obscure places?" His eyes turned wide as a bit of hope returned to him as the words reached him.

'Emphasis on 'may exist' as there is still a possibility that they do not, would you be willing to spend some points to find out?'

Though he really wanted to know if other races existed, he didn't want to waste his precious free points and also thought it could be fun if he discovered them on his own rather than cheating.

"No thanks, now let's move on to the next thing, I want to become a newborn in Alcavia, with my parents decently rich and influential, with my gender being female, like as female as possible!!" He increased his volume when asking to be born female to emphasize the importance of that criterion.

Alcavia was an isolated continent and country with a decent distance from other continents and is also renowned for being the most diverse and magitechnologically advanced country in the world due to the greatest minds in the world gathering there.

'From your description, I have set a criterion for your family member to be in the upper-middle-class in relation to Alcavia as a working-class Alcavian citizen could easily become an upper-middle-class citizen in the majority of the world.' 

"I knew it was a great country from the basic information but wow... that puts things in perspective, the cost should be a lot then, how much would it be inclusive of what I already used?" 

'A total of 117.13% of the budget would be used which would exceed the allocated budget, you are able to supplement the exceeded amount with 1.93% 'of your normal points'

"No thanks, I wouldn't even use 0.1% of my normal points no matter the situation, lets compromise and have you decrease the criterion so the range is from the lowest point of the spectrum of the upper-middle-class and above until the budget used reaches 90%"  

'You are of the majority that refuses to use your normal points for your beginnings so I can understand, for your new criterion, I have adjusted it accordingly and there are much fewer results from before'

"Lowest point of the spectrum or not, it's still upper-middle-class, now for the last 10% of my budget... I'd like loving, kind and unrestrictive parents, as much as 10% allows." The reason he wanted that criterion was not due to his previous upbringing. While his parents may not have been the most loving or kind, they properly did their jobs and parents and cared for him a good amount, and he had properly respected and appreciated their effort to raise him, even if he could not say that he loved them very much.

He added that criterion as he wanted to be unrestricted in his actions in his new like and wanted a loving family that properly appreciated a cute little girl, as that was his destiny, nothing will change it. 

'Criterion has been added, would you like to randomize now?' 

"Do it!"

MC: So I can choose anything within my allocated points and imagination?

???: Yes, from Almighty Systems to Evolving Weaponry, to Dominating Cultivation Techniques, anything you desire.

"Is that your kid, Laiex?" The king asked. "I heard he is pretty smart; he can talk and walk by himself despite his age. Who could have thought that you would become such an exemplary old man? Hahaha."
"It is all the result of Lyra's parenting skills, Your Majesty," Laiex said. 
"The same as usual, huh," The king said. "Even if you didn't do anything, you should take pride in your son's growth. Although all that my daughter does every day is cry, I take pride in that."
"Yes, Your Majesty, I will do that," Laiex said.
"Well, let's hope that your kid will be strong like you and smart like Lyra," The king said. "Still, knowing you, you probably won't let the boy even touch a book. Hahaha. Hey, kid. What is your name?"
"Zaos," Zaos replied.
"A strong name and a fast kid…" The king said, slightly impressed. "Grow up well, Zaos. Become a respectable man like your father."
           Zaos nodded after hearing that. Although he couldn't find many respectable things about a man that only eats with his family once a week, he certainly did the right thing at that moment. In any case, the royal family had a long night ahead of them since hundreds of noble families had come to greet them, so Zaos and his parents left the area.
           Although Zaos couldn't remember a single birthday party, he was pretty sure that one had been the most boring one. He didn't eat anything; he didn't drink anything, and there was nothing to do. As if that wasn't bad enough, not a single-family could leave until every single noble family had given their gifts to the princess.
"Come to think of it… what that voice said…" Zaos thought. "Do I have to protect that noisy princess?"
           Zaos never forgot the first thing he heard after coming to that world. Following the logic of things, it looked like he had to protect the princess. After all, she was born a week after him, and his family emblem was a shield, and they have been protecting the royal family for ages…
           Still, Zaos thought that something was missing… Why didn't the voice mention any name? Things would be much simpler if Zaos knew a name. After all, he might choose to protect the wrong person.
"I don't feel like obeying the voice of someone I don't know, but I am pretty sure that voice belonged to the same person who gave me a second chance…" Zaos thought. "Speaking of which, I can't remember if that voice belonged to a man or a woman. The fantasy books of this world don't mention gods or goddesses as well."
           The number of things Zaos had to research increased… unfortunately, there was only so much he could do with such a young body. So, he will have to be patient. At some point, the party got so boring that Zaos began to feel sleepy. While he used to fall asleep quite early in the night, it wasn't that early. Fortunately, many other kids also fell asleep, and no adult felt the need to wake them up. After all, even princess Ameria was sleeping. In the end, Zaos only woke up the next day, and he felt slightly guilty about it. While his body was of a young boy, his mental age was at least a couple of decades older… probably. It was hard to be sure since he couldn't tell if he died young or old even after dreaming about his previous life one hundred times.
           While Zaos was learning more about magic words and slowly learning how to run. He waited patiently for his mother to pick some books to read for him that had useful information. While she was young, and that was understandable, she just had too many fantasy novels on her bookshelf. So, only after several months, he learned something about the place he was living.
           Zaos was born in the Sairus Kingdom in the year of 2562. Apparently, the people of that world created a new calendar to mark the start of a new era on the same day the demon god, Elysus, was defeated. Although Zaos hoped that he would hear more about the demon god, it looked like a lot of information was a lot in two thousand years. Still, he felt that something was off since his mother frowned the entire time she read that story…
           The current king's name was Dalyor, who assumed the throne five years ago when his father died due to an unknown illness. Zaos frowned when he heard that since it was another person who died before the forties. Regardless, the queen's name was Loellena… that was it. That was everything Zaos learned about her.
           For thousands of years, the kingdom has been at peace, but that felt odd. Since there were no external problems, the norm would be to have some internal problems, but Zaos didn't hear anything about it. Either despite his looks, the king was pretty smart, or the books couldn't be trusted that blindly. 
           After a full year without hearing a single mention about a god or goddess, Zaos concluded that the only god that the world had was the demon god. Even so, Elysus wasn't the being that actually created that world. He was just another mortal who reached the peak of his existence by using magic. Some stories mentioned that he once was a handsome man who became deformed due to magic. Others said that he was a disfigured child since birth, but that, in fact, he was the first demon to be born and give birth to others. Still, Zaos didn't hear about any other demon being mentioned.
"Although the kingdom has been at peace for two thousand years, my grandfather died four years ago because of assassins. Two years earlier, the current king died due to an illness," Zaos rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "I guess I will need to be careful. Otherwise, I won't live a long life here."

After a long time in the darkness, a lost soul is transported to another world, and there the soul is given another chance and is reborn as a boy...

In a world of swords and magic, Zaos is given another chance after hearing an unknown voice asking him to protect someone. While he couldn't remember many things about his old life, he still decided to live his new as much as possible. Even though it looked like he was destined to do something, Zaos chose to follow his own path as much as possible.

He tried that... but it looked like the machinations of destiny won't give him much option. Weird things were happening in the kingdom he was born, and before he could imagine... Zaos was throw in the middle of a war in which some were trying to revive the god of the world, and others were trying to prevent it. Zaos will fight in this war while he also looks for the person he is supposed to protect.

I'm a chronic daydreamer. I have been all my life. I grew up reading the fantasy novels of my father, learning and playing D&D by myself, and dozing off to flights of fancy. A younger me, blithe to the enormities of my kind, aspired towards the more humane pursuits in life. Puberty and trauma, however, brought its fair share of nihilism, and a young man with bright prospects as an Astrophysicist abandoned everything to a sense of emptiness.
Many years ago I had idle fantasies of becoming an author - I daydreamed and loved stories anyways, so why not? – but I still stuck with the sciences through college. The Misanthropist's Guide to Philanthropy is an amalgamation of several things: I had dreams of writing a book about a young elf girl hunting her parent's murderer; I had started seeing the disgusting state of humanity and its greed for what it was; and my mental state kept driving me further and further into a state of paranoia and isolation.
In my late teens to my early twenties I wrote what you will start seeing as of today. All throughout my childhood I crafted my own twist on a high fantasy world, with its own magical systems, storied history, ECT. I used the basis of this world design and implemented my more adult understanding of the world to craft a fiction about an individual who views the human race from an extrospective perspective.
The Misanthropist's Guide to Philanthropy (the title is perhaps the most clever, sardonic joke I've ever thought of) is an anthology of stories following this individual as he ruminates on some of the events that lead him to this low point in his life. It delves into the philosophy and tribulations of someone who disassociates himself from humanity whilst still trying to maintain some semblance of ambiguous "morality." The story structure of this first volume is inspired heavily by a book I read shortly before committing to writing it, Andrzej Sapkowski's "The Last Wish," which had come out in English translation a couple years prior to me penning it. I liked how he effectively used the book as a character introduction to kick off what would eventually become his world famous "Witcher" series. As someone whose writing always struggled being too prolix, I appreciated the idea of using "throw away" stories to get the point across.
 
Anyways, I'm in my late 20s now. I wrote this book back while I was still in college and have just sort of been sitting on the manuscript for years now with no real impulse to do anything with it. Due to the current global situation, I'm currently working only one of my two jobs, so I've had a lot of free time on my hands. I'm really just putting this out here for posterity's sake.
I always fancied getting it out there, making some money off of it, and making a career out of turning it into a series…but I've since lost the ambition. I still have the ideas for four more books stored in my head, but no longer have the time for it. Perhaps one day.
 
A few words, before we start –
I will be releasing one chapter per week or later (tentative) – While the whole manuscript of Vol 1 is finished, it's just that, a first draft. I did my best to edit as I went along; but I want to put my best foot forward, so to speak, even no one reads it and I don't make a dime off of it. I still work 40-50 hrs per week, so I'm going to take a little time each weekend to polish it up before I drop the next chapter. I hope you understand.
 
I wrote this in Word – During college Microsoft Office 2007 saved my life. I've never used Wattpad/Webnovel before and I have no idea how I'm going to translate this format…It may just be a Ctrl+C/V kind of thing. The thing is, I formatted it a little more eloquently: proper punctuation, tabbing the start of my paragraphs, centering titles/subtitles, using bold and italics to emphasize words, ECT. I also usually denote a shift in "scenes" with an extra line between paragraphs. I'm really hoping I can get it to just…work. But please bear with me if it looks like shit for a while, I really don't want to go through each and every line to make sure things work out alright.
 
I may eventually do something supplemental – I poured a lot of my heart and soul into this story, these characters, and this world. I think it may be kind of fun to do some "behind the scenes" stuff for this, eventually. This IS NOT a promise, but I'm thinking of making a Youtube channel or something for some background stories about inspirations, or QnAs and such.
 
THIS. BOOK. IS. TWISTED! – I have seen some terrible things in my life. When I wrote this book I was in a very dark place mentally. I poured my animus, my odium, my vehement fury into writing this tale and presenting it in a very exaggerated way. I would encourage you to look elsewhere for a "happy" story. Have you ever read "A Clockwork Orange?" While its literary validity and social commentary may not be as eloquent as that book, you can be sure the content is twice as fucked up. You have been warned.

The Misanthropist's Guide to Philanthropy is an anthology chronicling the exploits of a disturbed and wild individual as he attempts to justify his life and choices. Written in the guise of a dark fantasy, the stories highlighted in this volume exaggerate the sinister side of human nature from the perspective of someone disassociated from the species.

It was a pleasant day as usual in the rural countryside with trees dancing to the rhythm of the wind and animals enjoying the graceful warmth the sun provides them. In the forest, you can see a small, plain house equipped with a big porch in front with a beautiful variety of flowers arranged in front of it to create a wonderful scenery of a faraway fantasy land being taken care of fairies.
On the porch, an old man could be seen rocking back and forth in his rocking hair reading what seems to be a manga. This old man is the MC of the story  Azur Lynel. A bald old man with a long white beard, like those cultivation novels supreme elders and with a physique the polar opposite of what his age suggests about him... packed with muscles and filled with a multitude of scars giving an image of his harsh past. Past all of this he gives off a grandfatherly vibe making him seem like a kind old man that spoils his grandchildren with candies.
At this sudden moment, the old man slapped the manga closed and put it away on the rocking chair's armrest.
Moving around and popping all the bones and muscles in his body and exhaling a loud breath, "Ah, I really should stop sitting down for so long my old bones can't handle it and start creaking as soon as I stand up!" to particularly no one in the surroundings (AN: 😅). Doing so Azur started to attend to his vast flower collection, only one of his many hobbies he picked after his long life including things such as gardening, swordsmanship, gunmanship, reading novels, watching anime, etc. Like this time passed and day soon turned into night and the howls of wolves and the chirping of crickets could be heard from far away.
Hearing this Azur snapped out of his trance, "I did it again, huh I should really stop thinking about my family all the time it's just gonna make me more depressed" and with a wry smile Azur stopped his gardening activities and put away all of his tools into the shed, returning into his house and going to bed.
--- Sometime later ---
Opening my eyes I could see my usual and boring wooden ceili- wait... it's black everything is black... 'Have I been kidnapped? I can't feel my body and everything is dark? Did my enemies finally catch up to me? No, my body would awake if I felt danger! If so, what is happening then? Have I died? Is this Hell I've been sent to? Eternal darkness, eternal solitude... if so then I must add the Devil is definitely a psychological mastermind.'
"Hahahaha calm down child, you are in neither hell or heaven for they don't exist"
Somehow turning around I can see a 3-meter tall old man with a white beard that can only be called magnificent being at least 2 meters long making me think how many years has this old man not shaved it?
"Wait, you said I'm not in neither hell or heaven? Doesn't that mean you're god?"
"Hah, how did you guess child, and by the way aren't you old as well?"
"Well, what else am I supposed to think with an abnormally tall old man with an equally abnormal beard sitting in the middle of what seems to be complete emptiness? I guess I shouldn't be surprised that you can also read my mind."
"Ha, I guess that does seem a bit suspicious huh? Well, do you want to know why you are here?"
"I died?"
"Interesting you are taking your death very well. Why is that, most mortals at this point are right now crying with snot flowing out of their nose?"
"Why should I fear something that I know is going to claim me eventually? That's why life should be lived to it's fullest potential! Grasping every opportunity!"
"Hahahahaha, now that is an interesting world view it seems I chose the right person for the job!"
"What do you mean?"
"Well my boy, I mean reincarnation with benefits including becoming my inheritor!"
I furrow my brows at this, as I just want to live in peace and it seems if I have any relations with this old man god then my next life isn't going to be good...
"Why should I accept this? This sounds like one of those generic isekai summoning stories with bad wishes and an even worse MC."
"Interesting you should say that because if you do accept my proposition then you can have a much more interesting life than your previous one!"
"Hmph, and why would I want that huh old man god?!"
"Relax, child I meant it with no ill meanings all I was saying you could have one if you choose my deal... you know murder is murder whether that is sinful people or innocent so of course in the next life, you would need to do more good deeds to get rid of all that bad karma and have a good life if you don't choose my deal that is"
"Ugh, fine damned old fox! Why are you doing this anyway?"
"GREAT, well it gets very boring in the void you know... having to create universes and wreak havoc among the universes you created, It's very tough work you know! And so once you have grown strong enough I want you to become my rival and fight me!"
'Great... a godly battle junkie!' "So let me get this straight you want to give me powers and then fight you once I'm strong enough? What happens when I grow too strong and let's say accidentally kill you? Just wondering of course?"
"Then I can only say it was my misfortune! Alright then, final time do you accept my deal child?"
"Haaah, fine I accept your deal but first I want to know can I choose which world to go to and can I change my physical body?"
"Heheheheh, of course, of course, choose which world to enter... a fantasy world or a different reality's modern earth (AN: 😉)! And choose the mighty body of an adult in his prime or you can choose to go puberty again! Ah, really the choices are endless!"
'This guy has a few screws loose, but I guess that's what happens to you when you have been living for so long. I have to think which choice would be most suitable for me? A cultivation world where there are thinking with their dick young masters and MC's with supreme plot armor... nah, rather not die just cause I looked at somebody wrong. Maybe a fantasy world with not necessarily that many powerful beings that can obliterate the universe and a slightly better culture than the cultivation world... okay I think I have decided, I'm going to choose a fantasy world with preferably no powerful beings living there or anywhere near it s-'
"Excellent, a fantasy world it is then now all you have to do is customize you physical body, and then you're all set!"
"Can you please stop reading my mind? Giving me Charles Xavier vibes man, not cool!"
"Alright, alright, I'll stop so what kind of body are you choosing for your grand adventure ending with you inevitable fight with me! 😀"
"Ugh, it's like I'm talking to my grandson who enjoys fortnite a little bit too much... okay so how do I customize this body then?"
"Just imagine it, and the body will form in front of you... and I'll just pretend you didn't say that to the cosmic deity capable of creating and destroying universes on their whim 😎"
"Yeah, yeah, whatever" 'So imagine it... well then I want my body to be at the peak of power as I'll definitely be fighting many battles over the course of this new life of mine... so 30 or so, and I would also need to have a height of at least 190 cm with unlimited potential in the growth of muscles and I would, of course, need to have at least 8 inches on my Jr. Impaler. "Yes, yes you human male's love being at the point of peak of male performance! "Well now that's done, let's talk about the powers you will be getting!"
