I opened my eyes to see that I was Still alive and it shocked me. Mario Jose sat on the bed not caring if I died or lived and I suddenly felt rage.

"Why do you hate me so much?" I asked crying. I struggled to breath while my lungs burnt.

"You ask why, is that answer not obvious to you. You think you can buy me with your wealth just because you are the senators daughter you think everyone will bow to you?" He yelled looking up at me with more rage than is allowed for one man.

"You agreed to marry me I didn't force you to neither did my father," he sprung up from the bed with a murderous look on his face like he was going to murder me. And maybe he was. He moved to where I stood so swiftly I could have missed him walking. He held my hands tightly and stared at me boring into my soul.

"Do not give me that crap, Monica. You didn't force me but you left me no choice. no choice." he screamed at my face and I shivered in fear. Fear of the unknown. This him I did not know but wished to know. I wanted to know all of him the sides he hid from the world and the sides he let the world see.

"I love you Mario don't you see that, I love you more than I've ever loved anyone more than I love my self more than I love anything," I cried. Trying to reason with a rage filled man is as useless as reasoning with a woman in love but I didn't care. I needed him to know that I loved him very much. That was all that mattered to me at the point.

"You don't know what love is. You don't!" He yelled. "Why are you here? " he asked pushing me against the door again. He bent down so his eyes could meet mine and at that point I forgot how to speak "

"We are married now Jose__I___"

"That doesn't answer by damn question bitch!" he said. Before I could speak again he hit me across the face and I fell sideways falling on my knees. 


He dragged my hair pulling me up so I could face him. "Answer the damn question or you will regret it?" He shouted menacingly. Looking into his eyes I've never seen such rage. I felt scared and turned on at the same time. I don't know what came over me but my inner demons took over and I kissed him.

If only he could love me, if only. I'll be the happiest person in the world. I do not mind walking on fire as long as he will love me, if only he will. But he hates me, my husband hates me. He has a lover.

A strong smell of sweat filled the room. the dust particles danced under the light entering the box like small room from a tiny window at the top- the only source of light. loud booming noises echoed around the almost empty walls as he hit the punching bag with all his strength causing the bag to swing from side to side slightly. his raven black hair stuck to his forehead due to sweat. he wore a sleeveless grey shirt that had now turned into a darker shade as it was drenched in excessive sweat. his hands clutched the boxing gloves wrapped around his fists. he moved his figure side ways before flinging his arm across the hardcore bag as he landed a strong punch against the red, hard, cylindrical bag hanging from the roof. his tanned arm muscles contracted and relaxed as he landed a series of punches on the punching bag. with each punch he would growl in frustration as his anger seemed to be resistant of fading away. how long had he been doing this he had lost count. if he was correct it was evening and it was not long before the sun dove in the sea that had engulfed that girl he once knew. and the darkness would soon takeover. Time and tide really waited for none. it seemed like no one cared what happened to that girl. not the universe not the people she met nor those who had claimed to love her and never leave her alone. they called themselves her protectors and were still unaware of the dead body that was now buried deep in the sea. it was like she never really existed. guilt ate him from inside and he landed a roundhouse kick against the punching bag sending it swinging wildly, as he screamed in pure frustration.
Memories that he had buried deep within his head threatened to break chains and overtake his mind. He always messed up. back then and now, it was all his fault. it was his fault that she was no more. his head throbbed in pain. clutching his head in his hands slid across the wall falling on the floor. he wanted to forget it all. get over it. but it was like those memories were etched on his mind like tattoo.
before he could fall deep in the trance a phone call interrupted his chain of thoughts. his eyes averted to the corner of the room were an iPhone flashed and vibrated. he stretched his arm taking the phone in his head. He picked up the call to see the caller id. Snoopy was flashed across his phone. He slid his finger across the screen bringing the device closer to his ears. 
"what did you find snoopy" he ordered.
"sir found the articles and news clippings on Alex rover and Sarah connor. I believe your suspicions are true."
"I will be there" 
He pushed back up from the wall taking off his boxing gloves. 
one thing that he had learned from life is that there are two kinds of hurt that can shatter a person completely.One having your heart broken. Two losing the one you love the most. That is why he lived by two rules. Trust no one. Love no one. Hurt can either leave a person in despair or it can turn a person into a monster driven by vengeance. Or in worst case scenario both. He had learned his lesson the hard way but stuck to it.
None the less it all fit perfectly with his line of work. Where he works, His name is a code. His status of life is non existent. He has multiple identities yet he has no identity. He works with the brain. Heart is only a blood pumping machine. In this line of work a person can work perfectly until heart becomes more and they start feeling. The moment they feel they lose. So he has stopped feeling. He has turned emotionless.
He is just a machine working in a well designed system. He does as he is told. No opinions considered. Its a strict command. His work is to fight against evil. Its ironic for evil is just human nature. Humans are born evil. We just suppress our true selves by these rules and regulation, by laws. These laws abide us so we do not reveal our true selves or the world will turn into a chaos. 
So he fights those who reveal their true colors. He fights evil and has sworn to do so until he is killed by it. His death will effect no one. For he has never existed for anyone. Secret is what it is all based on. He is just an intelligence agent.
One thing that he had learned through this all is that quotes are just delusional .Quotes inspire you to see good in everything. Crossing the dimly lit corridor of doors from which people rushed by entering and exiting he traveled up from the elevator he now stalled across the long hallway he finally reached his destination. He stood in front of brown wooden double doors. he stifled a yawn. it was an eventful long day.He turned down the handle pushing open the door.
 He entered a plain white room where a boy younger than him, probably a year younger than the girl he keeps his eyes on daily or the same age sat in front of a computer setup. Devices glowing and beeping as he types erratically, punching in commands. He wore white button down shirt over black pants. A loosened tie around his neck. His features still held a babyish look. His eyes seemed tired. it was beyond work hours. This kid was a computer genius. He had caught fame in his few years at the agency. he had extra ordinary skills. he needed more praise than he got.
Hearing the footsteps beside him sat up taller all alert.
"sir it is all in here" he pointed to the computer screen. Blinking his eyes to remove tiredness trying his best not to let it show.
He crossed the floor reaching the desk and swinging himself over an office chair. He messed up the boys hair praising him. "you are a genius snoopy" the boy smiled politely in return showing his results.
He showed the list of articles on Alex rover. These articles had been vanished from the internet but Snoopy had retrieved them. 
"Who would have thought that this super rich and famous guy would have been involved in gang activities" he commented at the news clipping.
"he came to fame three years back, two years after his mother went into comma." snoopy confirmed 
"what exactly happened to his mother"
"She went into depression after losing her daughter and when it became too much she had to be hospitalized and on the day she was released she got into a car accident and slipped into coma"

After a few minutes, she sat up pushed her hair out of her face and looked into the darkness with her blank eyes. She is not crying but her appearance is more pitiful than when she was crying. 

She was sitting and staring in the dark for an hour before she finally decided to move and went to the nearby table to get her school bag. She took her bag and began to rummage inside to search for something.

When she found what she is looking for, there is no happiness in her face but instead there's only agony that suffused Zia's entire being. She stood there like a statue and stared intently at her phone. 

Zia only moved around and quickly went back to bed like a surprised kitty when she heard some noise coming from outside, maybe her brother is home.

Zia collapsed to the bed. She covers herself with a blanket, tilted her head side wards and started fiddling with her phone. There were a lot of saved text messages; she opened the messages one by one until the very last one. And as if Zia was possessed and not yet satisfied with what she did, she started reading the messages again and again from the very beginning.  

You don't have to guess it, all the text messages she saved was messages Jacob sent to her. The compiled messages consist of their silly conversations, quotes that he sent, love confessions, sharing secrets and their promises.

And while she was reading she did not realize that her pillow was already wet with her tears. Zia tried to hold her breathe to stop her tears from falling and also to avoid her nose being clogged. As much as possible, she wanted to avoid making any noise.

'Haaaa.'

It looked so weird that she is smiling so sweetly right now. What can she do? Aside from crying all can she do is cherish every letter that comes from her beloved. She won't be able to hear him again so why not try to imagine him say those words again.  

Even in dreams, Zia will be happy to see him again. 

'I miss you.'

'I missed you.' she whispered while she slowly put her phone in her lips and kissed the screen. 

And as if something has been triggered, she could not stop her tears from falling on her cheeks. 

Zia wailed silently through the night and cried herself to sleep with no sound.

Zia grew up in a humble family. Though she has her own room, their house is small so any noise will be heard in the next room. That is why Zia need to be careful in letting out her cries.

Also, smartphones are not yet available at that time and since she was still in high school the best phone she can get was Nokia 3310. Just imagine the limited space in her phone that is full of his messages. She carefully picked every stored text messages; it can explicitly show how precious those messages are to her.

The morning comes and life must goes on.

Zia continue to be the girl she once was. She was once a girl with a pure heart and always cheery but now behind her smiles is a hurting heart, behind her laugh she's falling apart. All her sorrow, grief and woes were buried deep inside her heart. Zia tried to keep up with that facade until she can finally be free with the pain. 

However her friends can still sense that something is not right with her, they cannot pinpoint it but there is definitely something off with her.

Zia tried to distract herself but each moment was suffused with a suffocating feeling of sadness. 

Zia avoided being alone, after school she will hang out with her friends until midnight. She will only go home when she felt very exhausted and have no time to think.

When there's school activities, Zia will actively participate and volunteer to do some work. 

From everybody's perspective, there seems nothing wrong with her but every night although she was physically tired, her heart is screaming and her mind is still actively playing the past the she desired the most.

Her first love died due to a heart failure and her heart died the instant she heard the news. 

At that moment, time stood still for the young Zia but after a year, she found out a horrible truth about the man she deeply loved. 

The emotions she invested in him,

Her eyes are drooping and I know she's about to fall asleep. It isn't the first time I've stayed on one of our Facetime calls as she drifts away into dreamland. I wonder if she dreams of me the way I do of her.
I wonder if these moments we've spent apart have affected her the same as they have me. It's only planted her more firmly in my heart than she was earlier. As much as I hate that we haven't been in the same room in thirty-four days, I love it just the same. Every single day we've talked and gotten to know each other better.
She's unapologetically not perfect and it's one of the things that I like most about her. Liv doesn't care if I see her without makeup or her hair a mess. She's comfortable in her own skin, with who she is. And given how badly her last relationship ended, that's pretty remarkable. It might have been several years ago, but it was bad enough that she became pretty damn gun shy of committing to another relationship. Since then, she's dated but hasn't allowed herself to get serious with men. In fact, one night she admitted until recently she had a fuck buddy, my words, not hers, since she always just called him her friend while using air quotes, who she was with only for that, sex. I could tell she was afraid to tell me but who am I to judge? It's not as if I've had a lot of lasting relationships either. Landon is a guy she works with and shares the same aversion to getting serious with anyone that she does. As much as I hated to hear about her being with other men, I was grateful that she was honest with me. Even more grateful when she made it clear that she and Landon were no longer a thing since I came along.
Maybe I'm getting in there a little more than I initially thought. I hope, anyway. Between her parents' divorce, Jared being crazy, and Aaron turning into a serial cheater, both dipshits who thought he could be a dick to her, she's terrified of starting something long term. Even though I know it won't be easy, I'm willing to wait. For her.
"Tired, baby?"
"So tired. I don't know why, either."
"Probably because it's midnight?" I chuckle.
"Could be. I woke up at like five this morning because the neighbor's dog wouldn't shut up," she grumbles. "He's so yappy and I don't think they care that he's being super obnoxious and annoying." "You don't like dogs?"
"I love dogs. I don't like to be woken up to the sound of a dog's constant barking, though. He does it every day so you'd think I'd be used to it by now."
I scratch the back of my head. "Why don't his owners do something about it?"
"Oh they do. They yell and holler and shout for him to shut up, which is worse, because then I feel bad for the little guy."
Laughing, I tell her, "Well, I promise in a few days you'll be able to sleep as late as you want and there won't be dogs waking you up early."
"No?" One eyebrow rises.
"You calling me a dog? Or suggesting that I'll wake your sexy ass up early?"
"I didn't say a word."
"I guarantee if I wake you up early, you won't be complaining."
"Promises, promises."
She yawns again, which causes me to yawn. "You're tired, too."
"I am. Haven't slept good in a month."
Her eyes soften. It's a risk, I know, to tell her how I feel. To lay it on the line and admit how hard I'm falling. But she's worth the risk. I'm willing to put my heart on the line if it means easing her worries about taking a chance on me.
"I haven't really, either."
"Is it bad that I like hearing that?"
"No," she says quietly, "because I like hearing it from you, too." We're quiet for a few minutes and then, even quieter she says, "I'm scared, Ethan."
"I know you are. Push past it. I got you and won't let you fall."
"I'm already falling."
"Thank fuck."

The temple of Eternity was considered one of the most righteous factions with very high respect among the people, throughout the galaxies.
Biyuu happiness was not because Yue yan was a wood elemental body. But because she knew once Yue yan became a disciple of the Temple of eternity her entire destiny would change.
  She will no longer be confined to the shackles of this village, She will be able to leave it behind and live a free and happy life in the future.
If an outsider without much knowledge were to come and view the village they would be astonished to find that the village was a high tech city with so much technological development and such heavy protection and all.  
This was also exactly what Sam felt when he arrived here for the first time.
But only a villager would know that the Alliance government had provided them with all this so that the villagers won't die quickly but remain their slaves and laborers for eternity.

Sam arrived a little late to visit the children as he had not got a good night's sleep, the children were really happy to see Sam arrive as he brings the most delicious sweets and ice creams for the children whenever he visits them.
But he was surprised to find that two strangers wearing some weird clothes were among the visitors that had come to see the kids.
The Old man and the teenage woman were also looking at Sam, Jemin was also among the visitors she came forward and told him what was happening.
Jemin whispered " Sam these are the Priests from the Temple of Eternity, The Old man is called Henry he is an Abijah ( An ordinary priest) and the lady is Sassy she is a Mijamin( A priest disciple). They are here regarding the Bloody church..."
Sassy was looking curiously at Sam, Since he arrived the somewhat dull children had become excited.  
She had always been a curious person, she was trying to figure out why the children were so happy about this guy who looked ordinary.
On the other hand the Old man Henry didn't mind at first, but after observing Sam for some time as if realizing something a hidden glint passed through the Old man's eyes.
After introducing themselves to Sam, the Old man and Sassy didn't wait much and departed to the place where the red haired woman had tried to perform the sacrifice.
While Sam was clinging to Jemin as this was a rare opportunity for him, since the Old doctor would not interfere or take any drastic action inside the hospital with everyone present. He has not been able to talk with Jemin for some while.
But soon the little sweethearts found that all eyes were focused on them, Jemin blushed a little and said goodbye to Sam, The old doctor gave a cold snort and walked away with Jemin like a bodyguard.
