I just want to rant on the quality of the fanfic here since some months...

I have enough of those Kpop bullshit that should have it's own category instead of being so overly present in the fanfic genre. 

Seriously I think that Webnovel is becoming more and more useless with those trash ass fanfic, gneu gneu gneu BTS BL gneu gneu gneu How I became his girlfriend (EXO fanfic) just get out of here. 

Also those infinite wish/strongest from the start type of fanfic aren't much better, and generally it get dropped quickly. 

Another thing is upsetting me... why must y'all always mention God here and God there ? 

If your scroll down in the fanfic category you will find a whole lot of story named God this or God that... and if it is't related to God then it's demon or satan, you guys are really obsessed with this. 

Not even mentioning how every trash fanfic is are so similar... 

Oh I died but I met a "god" who acted like some normal human brought me back and even thought I was like super disrespectful toward him he let me be reborn in another world of my choice or not with a whole lot of cheats that don't even make my adventures interesting anymore. 

Ah and yeah even though I was a virgin buffoon and a coward in my last life, I became super emo cold ruthless lady killer arrogant very experienced really easily. 

Or... I was a damn perfect dude who don't have any flaw and is super intelligent/handsome/cold (yEa hE hAve to Bi cOld aNd rutHless hahaha) oh and did I forgot that he have 300 of QI and that he can make almost every female love him mindlessly with just some little talk ?

Elyon read the comments of his fellow authors about fanfics. He had not read any fanfic before, but he had heard of them. For him, fanfics are stories made from famous works by their fans. Basically, it follows (or not) the story of the original and creates a new branch, or a new setting, where a story is made using the "same environment/elements" from the original work. 

There are many fanfics in Webnovels and many readers love to read these "alternate" stories of their favorite authors, games, manga, etc. 

It didn't take long before the chat shifted to another topic and it's about romance stories.

Rychil: Yeah, everybody is writing about some bad boy falling for a good girl.

Murakami: Or a bad girl falling for a good boy.

Rychil: And CEO's fu*** their Secretary.

NaranNarman: Mostly "Alpha" male billionaires falling for sweet countryside women.

WWFire: Look at those naruto fanfic, most of the readers are screaming "NARUTO X HINATA X SAKURA X INO X whatever" FFS.

LordFinn: You must always think carefully before writing or saying something because the words you used can be used against yourself too.

Reinesse: It has been a few days and I haven't updated my novel just because I had to write an action scene and design my character's weapon.

Reinesse: Even if my drawing skill is shit.

WWFire: Oh, I used gauntlet as my MC's main weapon.

The talk about fanfic finally died down, but it left an impression to Elyon. If he were to read a fanfic about his favorite movie, anime, manga, or games, would he perhaps enjoy the "World" created by one of its fans who love it as much as he does?

It's quite unfortunate, but he's too busy writing at the moment and has no time to read any fanfics of his favorite genres. Still, fanfics are everywhere in Webnovels and if you just use the search button, you'll be able to see them as well. 

As long as there will be a demand or need for something like fanfics, then there will be writer's who will provide it. It's just how the world works, and perhaps, it will stay that way for more years to come.

(Author, hey guys I hope you are all enjoying this fanfic, sorry about the delay but here is the next chapter!  Also, sorry, but it is definitely a little short and the end is forced, but I just wanted to get something out.)

[10 years later]

"Master King are you almost ready for your graduation Ceremony?  We must leave in around 30 minutes if we are to be on time!  You were late for your last two master degrees graduations, you can't be late again!  Also, Miss Yaoyorozu is waiting for you in the limo."  Henry my forever loyal butler shouts from downstairs.

"I'll be down shortly, please make sure that momo is comfertable and has whatever she needs."  I shout back down as I pull on my graduation jacket.

It's been ten years since I've been diginoused as quirkless, but I have not let that stopped me.  I worked my but off and managed to graduate with a masters degree in, Mechanical and Electrical engineering.  Today I am graduating with a PHD in Physics.  I have also started on my first prototype of a exo suit.

After finishing getting dressed I head downstairs, "Hello Henry, is everything ready?"  Henry smiles and nods, "Yes master King everything is ready."


"Perfect then let's get underway!"  I clap my hands before heading out the door and entering the limo.

After I take a seat, I look up and see my closest, (Aka only) friend, Momo sitting acrossed from me wearing a red dress that compliments her pale complection, and she has her hair down and curled.

"Hello Momo, how are you?"  I greet her like I always do.

She shakes her head, "Do you really have to ask the exact same thing every single time we see each other?  Couldn't you change it up even a little bit?  You've greeted me the exact same way since as long as I can remember."

I chuckle, "I'm a man of habit, and the answer to your question is no I will not greet you in any other way unless, I, personally, decide to do so."

As the car pulls out of the driveway and begins to head to our destination she rolls her eyes, "Do you always have to be so....  Self centered?"

"Of course I don't have to."  I reply with a snort.

"Then maybe.."  Before she finished her sentence I cut her off, "I just like to."

She shakes her head and sighs, "You know, getting a real girlfriend is going to be impossible for you right?"

I shake my head amused, "Yes yes I know.  Anyway, you know I'm not usually like that, it's just my personality sometimes."  I reply dropping the Narcissistic personality I had been using.

"Yes I know, but how is your EXO suit coming?  Do you think it will be done in time for UA?  You may be able to get in through recommendations thanks to your position, but unless you can keep up with people with quirks than you'll be expelled."  She explains going into full analysis mode.

"Don't worry, it will be done in time for UA so you don't have to worry about it.  I've already managed to figure out how to use it to reduce physical exhaustion by reducing the amount of physical effort I have to put into using it, I've also made it so it can absorb impact quite effectively.  It also has increased strength and speed.  It can pretty much double my speed and strength.  The major problem is the battery, for some reason it runs out much faster than it's supposed to."  I grow excited as I talk about my suit.  I blabber on and on until we finally arrive at the college.

The graduation went just like the other two.  I kinda lost interest and stopped paying attention half way through, but I am incredibly excited to head home now because I just had an idea on what could possibly be causing my extreme energy use.

I have it so that the battery is constantly keeping the weapons charged even when in melee mode, so by shutting off the power usage to the weapons and installing solar powering tech I should be able to give it at least eight more hours of active use!

With all these thoughts running through his head, he drifts off until the ceremony is over.  "Master King, where would you like to go to dinner?"  

I turn to Momo, "Hmm, I don't know, what do you think?"

"Why don't we just eat at your house, I haven't had that delicious meatloaf in a while."  She replies.

"Alright, home it is!"

With that, we head head home.

It's another slow day at OsCorp. Everyone wants something from it...and takes a slow and painful time to get rejected.
In a lab upstairs, many powered gliders hang. In many glass cases in the walls, androids are kept. They all look like goblins. They all have green trim...
In the CEO's office, Norma faces the long day. There are a lot of prospective clients she needs to reject. There are a lot of civil servants with unfair-yet-fair requests to make of her. Sometimes she has no idea why she was super-quick to step up to the role of CEO of Oscorp...other than that she's an Osborn, that is.
At least in an age of quills, she's typing on a computer. It's a bit Cold War-esque...but as far as she's concerned, it does more and faster work than a quill sure can.
Speed Demon wasn't her test subject for very long...but her instruments DID collect some useful data...and not to mention some superhuman tissue, that could come in handy. On her desktop, she runs sims with it. She programs the AI in it to run sims on Speed Demon's BS while she's on coffee break.
Her nails are painted green...like her eyes. At work, she makes a lot of people feel uneasy. Frankly, though, she just thinks that everyday life is just a LITTLE boring. Plus, it's never that hard for her to scare people.
Atop OsCorp Tower, a covert jet lands. It's got the letters SILVER SABLE INTERNATIONAL printed across its side.
From its stern, the jet lowers a ramp. From it, Crimson Dynamo walks out, all suited-up.
In the sky, someone shadowy flies around the top of OsCorp Tower. Via an HUD, they zoom in, on where Crimson Dynamo walks, and looks around. One of the icons on the HUD looks like a targeting icon...
Inside its exo-helmet, someone grumbles, vengefully. They fly away, and keep their distance...for now.
Back in Norma's office, Norma types away. Green never looked better on her nails...
Among them, what looks like a tiny red-and-blue mite swings between them, and climbs them, as if they were crane arms. They're MUCH bigger to him.
High above, Norma doesn't see. She just types, coughs against the back of her hand, and keeps typing.
Peter's only seen Norma in this light once...at a ball that Morgan once went to, without him. He recalls how grand it was, ogling up Norma's skirt while hiding inside Morgan's, across the table at which they sat... Ah, good times. With luck, Norma's got weaker senses than Betty. She'd better.
Peter still can't believe he's doing this, so soon after getting caught by Betty. How he must've inconvenienced Ms. Grey, by requiring her to brainwash Ms. Brant, and make her forget her blackmailing of him...
Groaning, Silver Sable crawls through a vent duct, toting an Arctic sniper rifle with a scope. OsCorp sure knows its tech...
At a vent, she takes a break, and gets on the comms, with Doom. "Victor? Please tell me you're okay."
Doom answers. He's in the lab with all the goblin/androids.
"I'm here," he tells her. "And I must say that Norma Osborn has got some of the best vision I've seen in a North American company."
"Great. Just be sure to raise an alarm if you sense trouble. If I know one thing about OsCorp, they don't take security lightly. We've probably already sprung a trap, and don't even realize it yet."
"Copy that. Over and out."
Doom walks around the room, browsing the androids. He's not sure why, but androids have always inspired him...
He stops, when he comes across one that catches his eye. This android has got slits for eyes. He seems a bit steampunk, but... Is this not a steampunk fanfic?
Onward, Norma works. If her tower's been broken into, she doesn't suggest she knows.
Below, on her hand, Mite-Man is still on the prowl. As much as he still adores the view, he can't help but notice that she wears a loose top. She's a bit flat-chested, but... She STILL looks great, with bare arms...
Atop the tower, Crimson Dynamo stands watch. Imitating a moonwalking astronaut (not that she knows what that's like, understand), she paces in circles around the roof.
The jet's taken off, and flies a patrol of its own. It's cloaked; no one with human eyes sees it.
Crimson Dynamo is tempted to take to the sky, and show off. Even so, her exosuit needs its power. She's not sure why. She's felt underutilized since joining the Wild Pack...
Nearby, on the roof, Iron Man lands. Crimson Dynamo's confused... But then, it makes sense, that the Avengers have replaced Iron Man this soon after her own desertion from the role.
Crimson Dynamo raises the visor on her suit, revealing Galina Nemirovsky's face. "Hi," she greets Iron Man...or someone who dresses and flies like him. "What are you doing here?"
In her office, Norma keeps working. She barely notices it, when a great exosuit battle commences just outside her office window.
Peter notices it first. He balloons away from Norma's hand...as much as he hates to...and tries to balloon to a spot where he can see it happen...
But he can't do that in time, before an alarm goes off, in the tower. Concerned, Norma puts the tower on lockdown, and deploys the Gobloids, for insurance.
Below, the Gobloids are activated. They smash the glass they're in, and mount their gliders, as they fly by. As they're activated, they all laugh like goblins.
Doom is their closest trespassing target. They laugh, surround him, and aim their gliders' turrets at him.
Gaping, Doom looks around, for a likely way out. There doesn't seem to be. He turns around, and looks at that other android, in the glass case. Somehow, it hasn't answered the alarm...
"Volley," the Gobloids say. Beneath them, their turrets heat up.
Desperate, Doom aims his hand at the case with the spare android in it, closes his eyes, and starts chanting.
From outside, a lab assistant screams, as she walks past a door that belches fire and smoke, as the Gobloids take down Doom. Or rather, they THINK they've taken him down...
