It was nine in the morning.
After Zhao Leyi filled in forms to authorize two patients for tests, he sat before his computer and started answering patients' questions on "Doctor's Here".
Yunli Medical Company was having a promotion for "Doctor's Here" right now. Doctors would get points for answering questions, and after the end of the promotional period, they would be awarded financial remuneration based on their points. "I'm here." Yu Yuan, who was holding her phone, raised her head and glanced at Zhao Leyi.
Only then did Zhao Leyi see the petite Yu Yuan.
"I'll sit opposite you." Zhao Leyi smiled as he gazed at Yu Yuan, who was only the same height as the back of the seat after sitting down. He walked around the table and sat down opposite Yu Yuan. "Of course." Yu Yuan glanced at Zhao Leyi with a baffled expression and continued, "Most of the questions in the app are beginner-level. Why would Doctor Ling waste his time on them? We would only consult Doctor Ling when there are questions that we're unable to answer."
Zhao Leyi immediately froze.
'What? Is this how the game is played? Wouldn't it make things easier for top-notch doctors, then? Wait, should Ling Ran even be recognized as a top-notch doctor?'
"Ling Ran sure has it easy…" Zhao Leyi chuckled and entered Ling Ran's name into the search bar of the app. He then saw that Ling Ran's name could be found in the Department of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery, Sports Medicine, Emergency Department, Hand Surgery Department, and General Surgery Department. Moreover, he ranked within the top fifty of every single department he was included in.
Zhao Leyi swept his finger across his phone and closed the app. He could not help but become furious.
Doctor Zhou saw Zhao Leyi's expression and said languidly, "Don't you know how pharmaceutical sales companies are like? Of course, they want to make money off the doctors at the top. If you were a patient, would you want to ask specialists and chief physicians questions, or would you want to ask the attending physicians some questions? "Are you answering patients yourself too?" Zhao Leyi looked at Doctor Zhou.

"Someone said that a tennis ball is stuck in his anus, and he's asking if he can take it out by himself." Yu Yuan raised her head for a moment and continued to type at lightning speed.
Zhao Leyi hummed in acknowledgment. He then furrowed his eyebrows. "If he were to try to take it out by himself, it would be quite difficult. It would be better if he seeks treatment."
Yu Yuan merely hummed and said, "Tennis balls are rough, so it wouldn't be too difficult. If it were a billiard ball, he would have no choice but to seek treatment."
 Yu Yuan never stopped typing as she spoke.
Even though Zhao Leyi felt like debating about it, he was worried that he would lose out. After all, even though it was easy to say that it would be impossible for the patient to take the tennis ball out by himself, if the person really ended up succeeding, it would be a slap in the face for him.
"Ah, I'm not hungry anymore." The image of a tennis ball being stuck inside a man's anus was too nauseating, and Zhao Leyi decided not to eat anymore. He rose and left.

"Answering questions on Doctor's Here," Lu Wenbin said without raising his head. He then ordered his employees. "Stir the pork trotters with more force. Don't spill the soup."

               CHAPTER FIFTY-SIX
THIRD PERSON'S POV,
Everyone rushed to the hospital and was waiting outside of ICU. They all were praying to God. William was losing his patience little by little. His hopes start crushing.
But when he saw the green light on the heart monitor went straight he lost it. Falling on his knees, his heart was beating really fast. His world was down like a mess and all he could do was, watching it.
Doctors were running in and out of the operation theater trying to give CPR. They were doing anything and everything they could do to make her heart start beating again.
A lone tear fell from William's eyes as nothing was making any sense to him. He was lost in his thoughts. She was there, right in front of him a moment ago but now time was slipping from his hand so do Jennifer but he could do nothing but watch.
After trying their every method of taking her back to life the doctors gave up. They could do nothing now. It was out of their hands, they all lost her. William screamed and yelled at them.
"No, no this can't happen." William stood back on his feet and pushed the door open. Running to her side he took her hand in his and placed a gentle kiss on it.
He closed his eyes and put his hands on her chest and start doing his round of CPR.
Pumping her lungs in and out, he leans down to put more force.
Everyone in the room was giving him the sympathetic look, they pity him for his loss however William still held his hope that she's not gone. She's still alive.
"Come on Jen, just wake up. You have to wake up," he keeps mumbling to himself as tears were continuously falling down his face.
After a minute the doctors and nurses came forward and pulled him away from Jen's body but he pushed them away.
"No, she's not gone. She can't be!" he with his last hope tried again. He was also losing his hope but continued for another thirty seconds.
Jennifer's body jolted few centimeters up in the air, her mouth opened to take some oxygen and everything stilled for a moment or two. William's eyes were as wide as they could.
"She's back, look everyone. Doctors, doctors," William was yelling for doctors.
But when doctors came Jennifer's body was as same as they left it, no progress at all. But then why William said that she's back? Maybe it was his hallucination.
Doctors did again a thorough check-up and asked everyone to leave the room.
They all came out of the room. William was sitting on the cold bench for 15 minutes. When doctors came out all of his family stood up behind him.
"How is she?"  William's voice trembled as he asked this question.
The doctors looked calm, so calm. And this was scaring him more and more. Seems like it was the silence before a storm.
"Sir may I please know your relation to our patient?" the doctor asked and realized everyone was dying to hear something about the girl.
"I'm her husband, can't you see?" listening to this, the doctor gave him a sympathetic look and showed him some papers to have his signature on them.
"May I please know your name, Sir?" the doctor asked him.
"It's William, William Vernanda," he told him.
"Okay so Mr. William we are sorry to say that your wife is no more also we weren't able to save your child too." the doctor informed the family and excused himself.
A loud sob broke through the hall when William's mom started crying all over again. He can't make out what she was saying as his ears were ringing with the words the doctor told him. William's heart dropped down.
"She was pregnant?" he repeated to himself. He was asking this same question to himself over and over again.
He not only lost his wife but also his unborn child too which he never gets a chance to hold in, in his arms.
Someone screamed his name from behind but right now that was the least of his bother. Seconds passed and that sound raised. He heard the sound of someone coming his way soon he was ruthlessly pulled back by someone.
Confused, broken, and lost William stumbled on his steps as he crashing against the wall. Roman came forward to hold him but before he could do anything a hard punch sends him trembling off his foot.
Then came a heavy kick and a tight slap. No one was in a stable state to understand what was going on and why a complete stranger is beating William like a criminal until Edward came forward. But when they saw her face they got to know to is Vic, her best friend.
"You mother fucker, look what have you done to her," Vic slapped him again. She was ready to rip his heart out and kill him on the spot with her bare hands when Edward came out to stop her.
He pulled her away so that she can stop her beating. She was screaming, moving to get out of Edward's hold while everyone around them was just standing at their spots like some statue.
Her face was showing the same pain and hurt like everyone else. However, her pain was something no one could understand except Edward.
After Roman held William back on his feet everyone turned towards the girl who was sobbing her heart out in Edward's hand with a sympathetic look lying in their eyes.
"Edward look what he did to her. He killed her, Edward he killed her" she was screaming, crying, and sobbing.

Hazel had known the adults in the hospital branded him as dangerous but it was clear she took that with a grain of salt. Those doctors' and nurses' opinions weren't ones to be trusted.
She had thought her friend Billy was a nice person without realizing that every scrap of kindness he could muster was reserved for her alone. He was probably worse than the doctors could have even imagined.

The following morning Hazel and Will dressed as comfortably as possible before heading to the shuttle that would take them to Coba. She had bought some hiking boots back in Utah to be able to explore the rugged mountain terrain better. Bringing them here was a no brainer. 
Her hair was tied back in a fishtail braid and she wore a pair of khaki shorts with a white and blue striped tee shirt. Her camera was in Will's backpack along with some snacks and water bottles. They were ready to go. 
The bus ride would take about an hour and forty-five minutes. The tour guide kept them entertained with facts about the Mayans as they went. 
Hazel already knew some of these things from the research she conducted in preparation for the trip. Other things were new so she made sure to pay attention. 
Will wasn't interested. He had fallen asleep on her shoulder less than twenty minutes in. 
She couldn't remember the last time someone had used her as a pillow. It was probably when she first started dating the fake Billy. Will's head was heavy but she didn't really mind; he had seemed exhausted when he woke up so he probably needed the sleep. 
At first he had been leaning against the window but Hazel could hear his skull rattling. It sounded terribly uncomfortable so she felt the need to intervene. 
She gingerly pulled him away from the window but his head still needed something to rest against so it flopped over onto her shoulder. Leaving him there was better than letting him wake up with a headache so she let it slide. 
Will didn't wake up until the bus arrived in Coba and Hazel was forced to shake him awake. 
"Will, we're here. Wake up!" she urged. 
He came to groggily. "Huh?"
"We're here," she repeated and pointed out the window. "Look!" 
A few of the ancient buildings could be seen in the distance from where the bus was parked. Her reminder woke him up fully so he was able to listen to the tour guide's options for what to do. 
Guided tours were available but they could also choose to download an app connected to GPS where recordings from local guides would play when you walked toward the sites. Hazel and Will elected to download the app because it would allow them to wander around on their own while still getting information. 
She was setting up the tour guide app and putting in her ear buds as she walked off the bus. She missed the last step and nearly landed wrong on her ankle but Will grabbed her upper arm from behind to stop her from falling. 
"You should watch where you're going," he advised. 
Hazel nodded sheepishly. That one was on her. "Thanks. Um…where should we start?"
"With whatever is closest."
He certainly was a practical one. The closest site was the church so they decided to start there. Hazel listened intently to the recording of the guide talking about the Mayan religion and associated rituals as she walked closer to inspect the remains of the church building. 
She had learned a little about this before during her reading and documentary binge about the Mayans. Somehow seeing the remains of their civilization in person made things seem a lot more real. 
As she walked closer to the ball court, frequently associated with said rituals, the app began showing a video of people playing the ancient Mesoamerican ball game. It involved bouncing a rubber ball off of your body without using your hands, trying to get it through stone hoops attached to the side of the ball court. Considering how bad Hazel was at volleyball, she couldn't even imagine trying to play this. 
When the video ended, the virtual guide talked about the connection between the ball game and the Hero Twins myth. It was fascinating stuff. She was so engrossed in the tour that she had actually forgotten Will was there until he pulled a water bottle out of his backpack and handed it to her. 
Hazel paused the narration and took one earbud out to thank him as she twisted the cap off. "Isn't this all so interesting? That ball game held such significance to their culture!"
He smiled. "You seemed pretty into it. I tried calling your name about six times."
She flushed. "Sorry. I tend to get pretty absorbed in things."
"I know. It's one of the things I like about you."
A critical hit! Hazel's heart momentarily stopped before stuttering back to life again. She really wasn't good at accepting compliments but it was worse when they came out of nowhere. All her life people had berated her for getting too absorbed in what she was doing. 
In fact, the first year she got to go to elementary school she took notes so diligently that her teacher was convinced she was doing something else. She called her out on it in front of everyone and Hazel held up her notebook to prove her innocence, completely free of doodles.
If something interested her it captured her attention entirely. In high school more than one classmate and whispered about her, claiming she was too intense. They framed it as a negative thing so she had come to believe it was something to apologize for. 
But Will was saying it was one of the things he liked about her? Unbelievable!

“I’ll marry anyone who will take me!” Hazel declared loudly. “I don’t need love!”

“Get down!” Will hissed. “You don’t know what kind of people are lurking around in here! Talking like that might get you killed!”

"I drive," Lizeth took the car key from Aline's hand. They were in the middle of an empty lot that had a hidden entrance similar to stairs on it. It could be opened by the app on the phone. The door was closed again though this time.

"Why?" 

"That's the last man thing that remains in me after you injected the hibbie jibbie drugs in me. How about the other doctors? Why they're not disagreeing with you in turning me into. I don't know, This?" Lizeth grabbed her by the collar of her shirt and lifted her. She lifted her to the point where she almost suffocated her.

"For starter, there's no other doctors. There's a thing called Auto-doc you know?" Aline paused, "Now put me down will ya, you're supposed to be two feet under."

Lizeth put her down to the ground as she coughed a lot. She wanted to ask too much from Aline. "So... All of this work is done by robots?"

"Yes. Exactly, how the hell do you think I can be the only one that knows everyone's identity without the robots? If there are other doctors. The others' identity will be spread like hell," Aline said, "Quit bitching about it you ungrateful motherfucker."

"I mean. Why? What did you do to my body?" Lizeth asked her again as she entered the car.

"Like I just said, I just inject a mutagen solution to your body. What? You want to know the details?" Aline asked like a geek that really wants to explain things.

"Ok, I guess..." Lizeth said.

"Ok. Mutagen. It mutates your body right? Well, to put it simply your penis is eaten up by that mutagen," Aline explained as Lizeth felt the phantom pain on her crotch. 

"Eaten up? What the hell?" Lizeth asked as she held his crotch.

Lizeth observed her laptop and she noticed that Aline was opening an intelligence file. It was the intelligence file from FSB. She saw that she opened Patrick's file on the FSB.

"Your head is quite expensive you know?" Aline showed Lizeth Patrick's head price which was around 7 million rubles or a hundred thousand US dollars. His face was everywhere including some CCTV footage from the town itself. Lizeth now knew that Aline wasn't joking when she said that the Russians would recognize him right away. 

Russians' way of work was different than the American's. They would kill anyone to get the job done even if the person only had slight similarities to Patrick. Well, should she be grateful or not?

Lizeth grabbed the bag on her back, "Listen, I feel bad for this, but sorry," Aline apologized for the circumstances.

"I still feel mixed about it," Lizeth said. Aline hugged her, it was sudden. Lizeth wouldn't resist that. She hugged her back. She gave her the plane ticket and Lizeth went to the airport terminal with a bag on her back.

She did some things in the immigration and she boarded that plane that headed for Baghdad. Her seat was in business class and she sat down on that seat and enjoyed the twelve hours flight to Baghdad. The plane was quite full, to be honest for a plane that headed to the war-torn country. She glad that Iraq would go for the better with the US helps.

"Boss why did you call us?" A girl between 20-25 asked she was wearing Red.
"I will visit my little sisters and brothers it will took me days to return." Said Rae
"Boss can i come with you?" A Middle Age Man asked Rae his clothes was colored Violet.
"No need." 
"But! As the Leader of your Personal Guards-" Before he finish his reasoning he was cut by Rae
"No need." 
"Bu-"

"Arg! ~Sigh~ Okay" The Middle Age Man gave up his boss is really stubborn
"Hehehe~" "Hahaha!" "Hohoho~"
The other Leaders found their conversations funny and laugh
"Blue any report?" All of sudden the Atmosphere inside the room changed when Rae asked the Person who was wearing colored blue clothes.
"Yes. One of my Men found one Vampire Facility in neighboring town." 
"Good. Red, Orange and Yellow you will take this Facility. Save Humans if you can and exterminate all the Vampires in there." Ordered Rae
"Isn't this Overkill? I'm alone enough can do that" A Man between 20-23 complained. His clothes was colored Orange
"No... It's better to be safe. I don't want to lose any of my Family." Said Rae as he looked at the 7 people.
"Yeah! We are Family!" Said a Little Girl, Her clothes was colored Yellow.

The Leaders started to get hype.

Bryan took a public transport over to the station at 8 o'clock. He went through his usual routine of the morning which was getting tea or coffee, but preferably tea, at the coffee area. He didn't get why this place was named 'coffee' area and he felt that they were discriminating against tea.
He exchanged pleasantries with other officers and made his tea. There was no sight of Jason and it was odd because this area was his turf. He came to the conclusion that he was still advertising his 'long standing tea that was passed from generation to generation' product.
He smiled unknowingly and sipped his tea leisurely. After a while he noticed Chief Bruce enter the coffee area, he was limping slightly.
"What happened to your leg, chief?" Bryan asked when he came closer.
Bruce shook his head, "when you get married, make sure not to have kids…especially twins."
Bryan asked, "Your kids did this to you? How can children beat you up?" Bryan was on the verge of bursting out in laughter but held back, he had to give this chief some face and wish that it was Jason instead.
"You don't want to know how troublesome they are." Bruce continued making his coffee.
"What did they do to you?" Bryan asked feeling that it was an exaggeration that those kids could beat him up so badly.
"They got the stairs wet and I slipped and fell all the way down. I'm lucky to still have my head."
Bryan arched an eyebrow at him and said, "That could have been a mistake."
"Mistake?" Bruce turned to him and scoffed. "I just hope your children will make such 'mistakes'."
"I like them hot headed, it makes me busy all day long." Bryan replied with a smile. This answer surprised Bruce a bit but he didn't say anything.
"You punished them?" Bryan asked, he wanted to know if the chief was as stern at home as he was at the office.
"I sent them to their grandmother's place; they will stay there till they cool off."
Such a weird way to punish someone…I bet you just sent them to have a nice vacation with their Grandma… Bryan smiled and finished his tea.
"I'll get to work," he said and added, "You better see a doctor."
Bruce only nodded and drank a mouthful of coffee. His wife wasn't helping matters at all; she kept wiping her eyes when Dorita cried so hard. She made it seem like he was sending them to death.

Bryan quickly went to his desk and took a seat. He was yet to receive the results from Regina and he didn't intend to rush her. Today, he had to refresh some few things and make some major changes to his plans.
The appearance of the serial killer in Wakeville had turned his view upside down. His only choice was to find Gael as soon as possible and discover how he was able to leave the city…that's if he actually left.
Wakeville had sent over a file containing all the people who arrived in the city before and after the fire incidence and also the people who purchased halothane, since this was recorded in his file, but all those people were accounted for and they all had alibis.
Another thing that he discovered was that the girl who was murdered had been followed but it wasn't for three days as the current statistic showed but she claimed that she stopped feeling followed after two days and she was killed on the fourth day.
This gave Bryan two choices, either the killer was changing tactics or he was deliberately doing this to mislead the police. This was a killer who was so difficult to predict and it was even harder to get him cornered.
Bryan tapped away on his laptop and soon stopped at a particular file which he hadn't read for a while now.
He opened the internal message app that was installed in every computer in the station. This was to facilitate the exchange of information between the officers who couldn't go from one desk to another and it also had an option for a private chat.
"Miss Christopher, are you free right now?"- Derrick.
"I'm not too busy."- Bernadette.
"I need you to come to my desk now; I have a task for you."- Derrick.
"I'll be right there."- Bernadette.
Bryan closed the app and focused on the file again. It took only a minute for Bernadette to arrive. Truthfully, he could've gone to her desk and delivered the corresponding information but he refrained from that and sent the text.
"What's the task?" she asked calmly while putting on the behaviour of a good subordinate.
"Bernadette, I need you to complete the investigations on these three doctors," he showed her the screen of his laptop. "As you know they were the few primary suspects in this case."
Bernadette looked at the file and read it carefully.
"I'll transfer it to you later…" he paused when his phone rang. "Excuse me a bit."
He picked the call, "is there something wrong? No, you can send it over…yeah, I still some leads…Josh, don't do that or I'll take the first flight and come over and beat you up… tell the chief that I can't…"
He hung up the call and resumed with his explanation, "Doctors Mendy, Edith and Moore are the three doctors on our list apart from Neil. I need you to find out if any of them had left Haston city any period of time and if so when.
"Also, find out if any of them have a connection with Gael Hanson."
Bernadette nodded slowly but didn't speak.
Bryan didn't hear her reply so he looked up at her and asked, "do you understand what I just said?"
Bernadette jolted back to reality and quickly replied, "Yes. I'll do just that."
"You can get other officers in the mission." Bryan informed and said, "That's all for now."
He turned back to his work and didn't pay any attention to her again. Bernadette hesitated for a while before leaving. Her legs seemed heavy and she found it difficult to move away from there.
'He didn't even look at me, all he did was give out orders…' she thought sadly. This wasn't how he usually acted and it made her worried.
It hurt her to be treated like this by him and she could only take a deep breath to calm herself down. She went back to her desk and started drawing and writing again, this time with great intensity. She didn't know when a drop of tears escaped her eyes.

After the nurse finishes handing out all the medicine, she will return. When she discovers that the notebook is missing, she will go searching for it, but it should be fine because I believe she is only slightly more powerful than Xiaoxiao and the Pen Spirit. Chen Ge held the hammer and walked deeper into the corridor. If this was some other person, they would have been shocked silly already; they would not have been able to calculate and plan their steps. Opening the rooms one by one, Chen Ge made no new discoveries until he reached the door to the third-floor bathroom. 

The sound of door opening came from downstairs, so this bathroom should not be where the 'door' is. 

He could feel the anxiety coming from the white cat on his shoulder. Chen Ge tried to push the door open, and the bathroom was shrouded in complete darkness, swallowing up any sort of light. 

The row of squat cubicles looked rather frightening in the dark. Different from the school, the cubicles had no locks, probably in case of accidents inside the bathroom. Chen Ge did a tour but found nothing strange. He eventually stopped before the sink that had a mirror, and he realized how interesting the design was. 

There was a curtain draped on top of the mirror. With a pull, the mirror would be covered up easily. This little design quirk reminded Chen Ge slightly of his own Haunted House. Looks like there are some problems with the mirrors here as well. 

Chen Ge pulled the curtain up, and the mirror was stained with smudges, like someone had run their hands over it. The surface was smudged with so many finger marks that Chen Ge could barely see his reflection. 

The door is not here, Chen Ge confirmed after making sure the layout of the third floor bathroom. He came out from the bathroom and used the adjacent staircase to walk down to the second floor. 

The closer he got to the first floor, the stronger the stench in the air became. The thing that surprised Chen Ge was that some curious things had appeared on the second floor's corridors and walls.

It was unknown whether it was caused by the building's old age or some other reason, but there were patches along the corridor where it protruded outward. The protrusions had red hues to them like the color of bruised skin. The cracked floor also had residual liquid that looked like it was blood. It was as if blood had once seeped from cracks and had now dried. 


The second floor was completely different from the third floor. The danger rating had practically doubled. If the third floor was eerie, then the second floor was dangerous; it just made people want to turn and run. 

Could this really be real blood? Chen Ge picked up something that looked like congealed blood off the floor and squished it in his hands. It doesn't smell bloody… probably just normal red soil. 

The mattresses on the corridor were rather in the way, and as Chen Ge walked past them, he yanked some open. He realized that the closer he got to the first floor, the more authentic these dolls looked. It was not that they were visually more authentic, but they gave off a stronger feeling that they were alive. 

When I enter the first floor, will the dolls in the mattresses crawl out on their own? 

He was not kidding and was considering this possibility seriously. Walking past room after room as he proceeded down the corridor, Chen Ge noticed a few special rooms as he was about to turn the corner. All the patients' rooms had windows on their doors so that the doctors could see inside easily, but these few rooms were different. 

The director's office? Chen Ge had pretty much finished exploring the mental hospital, and this was the first time he had come across a door with a plaque on it. He entered the room, and the space was huge. It had been made from breaking down the walls between three normal rooms. 

There were several pots of dead plants against the wall, and next to them were empty bookshelves and an office table. There was also a resting area. It was about half the size of the working area, and it had a single bed and a disproportionally large dresser. 

Closing the door behind him, Chen Ge stepped into the room. The floor was littered with a massive number of patient records, but these records were different from the ones in the nurse's notebook. They were unedited. In other words, these patients were probably still alive. 

The mental hospital had been in operation for at least ten years, and the number of patients that came through its door was huge, at least much bigger than Chen Ge anticipated. Compared to Jiujiang's population of several million, the number of mental patients was probably very small, but Jiujiang only had two certified government mental hospitals, and even at their maximum capacity, they could only handle about a thousand people. This, combined with the fact that mental illnesses required repeated treatment, meant that there were not enough hospitals to go around. This was why there were private hospitals like Jiujiang Third Psychological Convalescence Centre. 

It had the necessary certification, but at the end of the day, it was a private hospital. Their main focus was money, and their management was riddled with problems. Due to the nature of mental patients, many things were not treated with the seriousness that they deserved. Accepting Wang Haiming even though he was mentally fine was one such example. 

After picking up a few of the patient's records, Chen Ge soon lost interest. The diagnoses given were pretty much the same—even the treatment methods were similar to each other. 

"A real doctor is someone like Doctor Gao. These doctors were merely trying to silence the patients' wills and souls, transforming them into puppets without individuality." 

Chen Ge continued his search. The bookshelves and table drawers were empty. Chen Ge entered the rest area and flipped the bed upside down. There was nothing. Finally, he turned toward the suspiciously large dresser. This was the only place he had not searched. 

"This dresser is big enough to fit two adults. Could the missing director be left inside?" 

Raising his hammer, he scanned the dresser. The dresser was sealed with police tape, and it had not been taken down since it was applied because the edges were untouched. 

"Why would the police seal the dresser? Was it hiding the body?" 

There were many other curious things about the dresser. Its four edges were taped with duct tape, and curious mantras were written on the corners. There were also red nails that were about half the length of a normal palm protruding out of the dresser. 

"It just feels like this dresser carry something important inside." Chen Ge hugged the white cat and placed it down by the door. He removed the police tape and used the mallet to pry the door open. 

There was no scary scene, and the dresser was not filled with clothes or anything weird. Inside sat a few papers that were filled with words and several envelopes that had not been mailed. Picking up the top most paper, the first line that entered Chen Ge's eyes made his heart jump. 

"The kid inside Room 3 is acting up again. He is the first person to have seen the 'door', so I suspect the appearance of the 'door' is related to him." 

Wasn't Room 3 empty? Where did this kid come from? 

Chen Ge continued to read, and the letters inside the dresser explained how the single 'door' had caused the ruination of the entire mental hospital.
