  Karen shot a glare full of daggers at her sister before reaching over and grabbing her bag of half eaten potato chips, and dumping the remaining chips out the window. "HEY!" Riley shouted at her sister. I don't know what was worse...Riley's scream, or, the fact that Karen crumbled up the chip bag and stuffed it down Riley's shirt.


  "Oh my GOD Karen you are such a witch!" Riley screeched and continued to insult her sister. Karen glared more daggers at her sister before spewing her own insults. I then decided to tune them out and stare out the window. 


  I swear, Karen and Riley are like cats and dogs! Always arguing! But the next minute they are inseparable. *sigh* I remember when they were 6 and stuck to each other like glue. Karen would refuse to play anything with anyone unless Riley was playing as well, and Riley wouldn't play anything unless Karen was.


   They dressed the same, liked the same stuff, and did everything together! Well I guess that is understandable because they are twins. But now, they are complete opposites of each other. I mean literally.


  Karen is the fashion crazed of the two. High heels, makeup, Prada bags, newest fashion trends and creating her own trends. Never caught going out without some type of designer item. While Riley on the other hand, was the laid back artsy sister. Sweatpants, tank tops, sneakers, darker makeup or none at all, and sweatshirts. Always rocking the latest store brands!


  I often wonder how they ended up this way, when they used to be so close. But looking at them now... You would think they are life long rivals! I was snapped back to the present only to realize, they were now arguing over what radio station to listen too. Oh god no!


   "Now you listen here Missy! My car my rules! And one of the rules is whatever station I pick plays!" Karen argued then turned up the radio. Bruno mars song "That's what I like" began blaring from the car speakers. 'I'm talking trips to Puerto Rico! Say the words and we go!' Karen squealed and began singing along " YOU CAN BE MY FLEEKA! GIRL ILL  BE YOUR FLEEKO! MAMASITA" I had to cover my ears because Karen was singing, (well technically screaming not singing), was so god dang loud.


  Riley reached over and turned the radio off saying, "Good lord Karen your going to wipe out half America with that abomination!" Offended, Karen shouted at her sister, " HEY! I was listening to that! I was just about to sing my favorite part!" Riley then looked at her like she was an alien. "You call that singing?!?! I call that trying and failing to be a weasel!" 


   Karen looked as if she was just slapped by the queen. "Now I know your not talking with YOUR trash music!" I really wish I just rode with Liz and Mace right now. This clearly wasn't going to be over soon. And as if on cue, Riley changed the station and some band named Halestorm began playing.


  'IF YOUR A FREAK LIKE ME RAISE YOUR GLASS! IF YOUR A FREAK LIKE ME GET OF YO-' Riley began to shake her head rapidly screaming along, with the already loud music. Karen screamed and turned the radio off. "OK NO MUSIC!" She roared. I swear this was the longest twenty minute ride of my life.

"Thanks." As soon she thank Rayyan she munch the burger, her stomach growling since she done her morning walk, she lucky Rayyan bring her to grab some food, otherwise she might see grim reaper by now for starving to death.

She eat the whole burger without talking to Rayyan, after finish her burger, she simply grab her Oreo McFlurry, she feel her soul back inside her, luckily the soul not meet the grim reaper yet.

"You want some?" Deandra shove some vanilla ice cream that coating with crush Oreo and put it in front of Rayyan. Rayyan nods. Unfortunately for Rayyan, Deandra keep messing around by doing an airplane movement every time Rayyan try to eat the Oreo McFlurry.

Without say anything Rayyan hold her hand that holding the spoon and eat it, both of them losing their heart beating, thank god Deandra skin is tanned, otherwise Rayyan surely saw her blushing cheek right now. As for Rayyan he tried really hard to slow down his heart beating. 

Luckily their heart beating slow down quite quickly, or else this McDonald branch may appear at tonight news, saying 'a big explodes happen inside their premise this afternoon'.

In other hand Rayyan heart almost explode, he so pissed when Deandra singing the song. 'Yes sure you can't get him out of your mind, because you madly in love with Shahir.' Without he realize Rayyan hit the steering so hard.

Deandra in shock "What the hell man, okay I'm sorry to singing so loud." Deandra of the radio, put her earphone on and open Youtube thru her phone, she sit quietly, afraid Rayyan will feel uncomfortable while driving.

The town guards swaggered over to us. The waiters and attendants of the restaurant moved instead to soothe the other patrons of the restaurant about the disturbance.

One of the town guards, a broad-faced man with a rough mustache and stubble chin, pulled at an empty chair and pushed it over towards our table. He sat on it, facing backwards, and grabbed a chicken leg off the spread.

He munched on the meat and then pointed with the bone at Yae, "I remember you. Didn't I tell you to keep out of trouble? I see you've found yerself a whole new set of troublemakers."

Yae frowned slightly. "They were the ones to accost me, what was I supposed to do? It was self-defense, that it was."

"I'm not talking about some little crooks. You should just have ran away instead of makin' a show of it! Violence is not a solution to everything!" and then he pointed at me, "And you… what's your excuse?"

I smiled. "It was crazy, officer! There were these idiots who just wouldn't let us go until we allowed them to run their faces into our fists! Repeatedly!"

He scoffed. "A joker, huh? You'll find we have no patience for jokes in this here parts. No one asked you to butt in, you lot did more damage to the town than anyone."

"They were threatening to do things to Yae!" Elze shouted out. "You can't blame us from DOING YOUR JOB FOR YOU! What sort of town guards are you anyway? Where were you when all of this was happening?"

"Hey, what we know is what we can do about. If rascals want to rumble in the streets, that's not something we can fix until someone tells us so we can go there! You know how big this town is? We were actually just about to get there when you lot just all decided to run away! Don't you play dumb now, there's lots a' people who saw you fighting recklessly in this here good town!"

"Hmm? Why is damage to the town more important than criminals accosting people out on the street?"

Monika pulled up relevant info about town guards. When thinking about town guards, what immediately leapt to mind was Sir Terry Pratchett's novels about the City Watch of Ankh-Morpork in Discworld.

I shrugged. "So what's the problem?"

"The problem is that you used magic in town. That's against the law. You damaged town property! And that's gots its penalty!"

"One could also argue that being under fear for our lives, NOT resorting to magic would have been dumb as hell going four against about, what, ten armed and hostile criminals? Criminals who had some strange courage to commit such violence in the middle of the day, threatening **** and death, and people were just watching interested at seeing a young girl beaten down."

Then I shook my head sadly. "I do not have much sympathy for this town."

"Who needs yer worthless sympathy? Two gold penalty for ye," and he looked at the girls, "each of ye, or ye spend a month in the clink!"

"Ha! Good lu-"

I reached under the table and patted Elze's knee to keep her from resorting to violence. She glared at me, pop-eyed, from the side. I shook my head gently. We did not actually have the budget to pay for an interesting restaurant floor fight scene with tables and plates and fleeing diners flying all over the place.

I had a thing against ruining other people's honest business for no good reason. I was always on the side of the poor innkeeper on those kung-fu movies and wished they had a decent bouncer to toss these hot-headed idiots out on the street.

"I guess that just leaves one question, then…" I reached into my chest pocket and flashed my purple Adventurer's Guild card. "Am I being detained?"

Monika groaned and palmed her face.

The town guard tsk'ed. "Just like I figured. You lot always think you can get away with anything. Just a Purple? Don't get too full of yourself, boy."

"There's nothing wrong with taking free legal advocacy that comes with being a duly licensed adventurer. The Guild does not usually interfere, but that doesn't mean they can't be asked to intervene. Some of us choose to follow laws as much as possible – and expect that the law treat us fairly as well."

"Just for that, it's three gold and if not we're bringing ya in right now!"

I raised my gloved hand up, still urging Elze or Yae not to move. The town guard flinched a bit, but then there was that flash of eagerness passing across his face?

I held that pose for several long agonizing seconds. I measured how much hassle it would be to just fight our way out of this joint. The guards had their hands on their swords and bent down slightly ready to move, but as the seconds passed no one budged.

I stared at the guard in front of me, meeting his eyes with the blankness of my own plastic-shelled visage until I could see him sweat. His face broke open in a contemptuous sneer. 

"You… you don't even actually want to do that, do you?" I murmured. "You want me to swing the first punch…!"

I closed my raised right hand to one pointing finger. "[Playback], please."

Then I had Monika replay the recording of what he had just said for the past thirty seconds. The sneer slowly faded from his face as he realized we had some magic to accurately replay events as evidence to his own superiors. Null magic was personal magic, it was not something they could stop just from denying access to magic stone.

"Oh. Right! I forgot, you did say you could perfectly remember and repeat again everything you could see and hear!" Elze gushed out melodramatically.

All the way back at the start, I had asked for and read the Guild guidebook. Reflet Guildhouse was happy to assist, it was always good to see new adventurers treating their new career seriously.

There was actually a very strong precedent for this and helped to protect the Guild's neutrality across different nations. Trumped-up charges was the best way for local lords to try make adventurers 'learn their place', until they learn that the adventurer they were hassling just so happened to have strong ties to an army or well capable of blasting through their town walls all on their own.

The Guild usually did not interfere with their adventurers unless what they were doing impacted the reputation of the guild as a whole. It actually turned out that local puissant lords thinking they could push around the guild and threaten adventurers was a threat to their neutrality. If their kings had already granted the Guild their grace to operate, from where do these petty tyrants get their arrogance?

He grit his teeth. Implied of course, was that anyone with any real strength would be an adventurer instead of a mere town guard.

"So what if we're just town guards? You're going up the whole of Amanesque! You're just another criminal if you try to fight us!"

"And if I actually don't, you're just another crooked servant trying to steal good coin from their lord by under-reporting income from fines! I get to spend time in jail and get this whole thing made into a scandal for your master and then win money from him! You get to lose your head!"

I laced my fingers together in a Gendo pose and grinned. "Some property damage is nothing compared to evading your lord's rightful dues! I think we should be talking about how much you should be paying /me/ to keep silent about this instead."

"You…! You won't get away with this!"

/"Wait, why have the roles seem to have reversed so suddenly?"/

I kept pushing. "You won't get away with lying about anything, town's man. That eight gold you're trying to extort from me, I could pay a whole lot of adventurers and barristers to swarm this town instead. You know you don't have the personal strength to bring me in, and if you wake up the knights they're not going to thank you for it.

"You're vastly overstating the damage you're using as an excuse for this. I could easily prove that it was nothing more than some broken flagstones on the road and some scratches on the wall. That would be trivial to fix even by the shop guilds nearby. Why don't we go talk to the actual magistrates about the proper fines, hmm?"

/"Oh, I get it. All of this – it's a provocation. It's funny, maybe they actually were going to try to frame you or scam you through the Guild but you accidentally used their very own tactic against them first!"/

He scowled back at me for a few long moments, and I feared we'd have to resort to violence anyway.

But then he spat at the floor. "…. feh. I've no time for this noise. Lord Klass is nae impressed with any dang adventurers, you'll see. But I'm not gonna be stupid enough to get his attention, it's always in a bad way." 

He seemed to weigh the risks of me making some official ruckus versus the ruckus he wanted to get. Without a wrecked restaurant, he wouldn't have as much excuse for the hefty fines and the pleasure of seeing us on the rack. Once outside, adventurers would be far more easily able to overpower them, escape, and leave town with minimal damage. Just some adventurers roughing up the town guards... that was not worth the knights' time, making them chase down some miscreants on command. 

The tail should not wag the dog.

But adventurers wounding the pride of the powers of the nobility, that was another matter entirely.

He grabbed at a sandwich and motioned for the other guards to start plundering our table as well. "Count yerself lucky it's too late in the evening for me to bother dragging all of youse all the way down town!"

"Yes, that certainly is a believable excuse not to do anything," I replied neutrally.

The town guard snorted again, and then spat out a glob of phlegm at my face. "Wind," I uttered. The snot-ball was deflected off to the side. A waiter yelped out in disgust and dismay at the stain on his uniform.

"Whatever, boy. I'll be watching you. One more step out of line, and I'm tossing you into a cell, see if I don't!"

"We're just passing through, we'll be out of your hair by tomorrow." Or what's left of it, I didn't say. "And if we do meet again, I will remember you too."

Grumbling, they left the restaurant. They took whole dishes with them, and I meant including the dishes. They could probably pawn those off somewhere too.

"Honestly, such ruffians!" the waiter snorted in their wake. He glanced at our purple card and his nostrils dilated in barely-disguised disdain, but a Purple could become a Red or Silver eventually (and thus earn far more) and get famous. A town guard would always be just another trumped-up commoner.

"... I think it's great that you solved that without violence, Mister Zah," said Linze. Unlike her sister, she was much more sensible and didn't enjoy the thrill of combat and didn't hurting others even if they deserved it.

I exhaled roughly and slumped in my seat.

… yeah, this place needed a Sir Samuel Vimes far more than it needed a Batman.

It's finally over... The shoot is finally over...

Kiara slumped a bit as she got out of the room where the photo studio was, exhausted from trying to stay still for the camera.

With an exchange of "good work today" along with a bow, Kiara and her manager Kotori headed out of the building and onto the next scheduled activity. Which was a radio program where she's gonna be a guest on at a radio station which will take them around half an hour to get to by car.


How did I get the chance to be a guest on a radio show when I haven't even been an idol for that long..? Is it because of the rumours about me being a prodigy? No, It couldn't possible be that... Can it?

Kiara continued her thoughts about the reason why she was invited as a guest as they made their short and quite trip to the radio station as if she was really confused even though the reason behind was already quite obvious.

Each one also had it's own sound booth where the audio engineers would control how loud the microphone and the music where making sure that they weren't too loud that the other wouldn't be that audible.

"You must be, Miss Kiara, right?"

A woman in her early twenties that looked like the host of the radio show that she'll be on bowed towards Kiara and her manager as she sees them enter the soundproof room.

It's been quite a while now since she left the swimsuit gravure shoot that's gonna be used for promotion for her debut as a solo artist along side a famous model that happened to join the shoot because she had an empty slot on her schedule after she arrived back at the agency from her shoot for a famous cologne brand in a studio somewhere in Los Angeles, USA.

Kiara's thought about this completely random  question was: "Was my smile while I was performing stiff?"

She was rather reluctant to answer the host's question because of it being a little bit private...

But with a quick inhale from her mouth she answered: "I was thinking about what if my parents didn't make me transfer here and just let me stay in england."

"I didn't know you were a transfer student from the UK... What's like growing up there?"

The host added with now a curious look in her eyes signaling Kiara who was sat across the soundproof table to think of a good answer to reply with, She had placed a finger under her chin as if she was thinking really hard.


"Well..." She paused for a little bit and continued: "That's a really hard question to answer since my parent's didn't really let me go outside of the house because of the fear that I someone might kidnap me or I might get myself into a accident so I didn't really exprience the outside world except when I was dropped off at school." She finished her answer with a blank expression on her face which had previously been a happy one.

"I see... You're parents really cared about you..." The host's expression was a mix of pity and intrugue towards the young pink-haired foreigner.

"Well, Thanks for coming today." The host smiled at Kiara before saying: "That's it for the interview of the new idol Kiara Alcott." before pressing a button on the control panel in front of her which had serveral buttons on it making the show go into a commercial break before letting her out of the sound proof room.

She looks and talks  like a princess from a fairy tale...

The radio host thought letting Kiara leave the room that had a lot of soundproofing done to it.

A big deal was made after Kiara had her radio interview on a radio show about music when she arrived at the international school that her parent's arranged for her to attend...

Some of her classmates who listens to the radio show that Kiara got a interview on immediatley surrounded her as she sat at her desk which was two rows of desks away from the front of the room where the blackboard and the teacher's lecturn was.

Her classmates also wanted autographs from her but a teacher had already entered the room and they were forced to take their sits to not get in trouble.

They finally left me alone...

Kiara sighed taking out a classical japanese book from her bag because of the first subject of that day being classical japanese.

The same people in her class kept on approaching her and the desk that sat at asking a lot of questions, some were random like: "When is your first single coming out?" and "You said on that radio show that you weren't allowed to leave your house back in the UK without permission, is that true?"

The day went on like this everytime that the teacher had left their classroom, she was treated like a small animal at a zoo.

Why can't they just leave me alone....?

There were also a group that didn't like that Kiara was getting most of the attention but decided to just keep quite and not do anything because her mother was a member of the school's board of directors and they could get expelled for bullying or harrassing her.

 Jacob is a 17 year old part time cashier at a local chili's,  he loves to play video games and browse the internet! He lives alone in his apartment with no connection to family members, and signed up for this show willingly!


[ Miku Lo ]

   Miku here,  is a 27 year old accountant for a large scale bank... she loved Japanese media and has changed her name and hair to match the famous vocaloid!





   Now that introductions are out of the way,  let's get to the fun part!


       We will be dropping them into an elaborate maze,  two will be given manuals on how to navigate the certain puzzles laying in wait around the labyrinth... the other two will have to solve the puzzles to reach the end,  should they fail... well, its not good.

  Each Member will be given a radio to communicate with one another in a certain pattern.

 Manual 1 can communicate with Runner 1
Runner 1 can communicate with Runner 2

Runner 2 can communicate with Manual 2

Manual 2 can communicate with Manual 1


  In a big loop,  they can all talk to each other... through the other members,  they will all be working together for this... and you must kill at least 1 with available tools that will be listed later,  fail?

It's Saturday. Yang rushed to Ruo's Room 

*KNOCKS ON THE DOOR*

"I'm not and I'm sorry I can't go somewhere with You because today Me and Ruo are going to my Uncle's House, at the Countryside and we're going to stay overnight there" 

"Ooh, i think I have to go" Gāo replied with a sad tone 

"Ey, Wait!, Do you want to come with us to my Uncle's House?" Yang Smiled at Gāo after hearing that from Yang, Gāo was kinda enlighten and he replied Yang with a happy tone 

"Really? Is that Okay? He's smiling at Yang. Yang nodded he's head and He's Smiling at Gāo and suddenly Ruo appeared 

"Yang Ge! I already packed my stuffs" He's Smiling at Yang And He was surprised seeing Gāo 

"Oh, Good morning Gāo!" Smiling at Gāo. Gāo Smiled and Greeted Ruo 

"Good morning too, Ruo" 

Yang Turned at Ruo and He told him 

"Ruo, Gāo is coming with us" 

"REALLY?!" Ruo was Happy knowing that Gāo is going with them. Yang Told Ruo and Gāo 

"You guys wait for me here, I'm going to get my stuffs" 

Yang walks his way inside the house.. As For Gāo He started a conversation with Ruo, 

"Hey Ruo!" 

"Yes Gāo Ge?!" Ruo was smiling at Gāo and Gāo starts apologizing at Ruo,

"Duibuqi Ruo, For all the bad things I did for you, I'm sorry" 

"It's Okay Gāo Ge, Besides I already forgiven you" Ruo Smiled at Gāo, And Gāo was happy hearing those words from Ruo 

"Okay Today We are friends now" 

"Okay" And they Shake hands. Yang suddenly appears 

"Look at You two, You both look so cute, and it makes me happy seeing you guys being friends with each other, So what are we waiting for? let's go ohh, You two head out first I'm going to do something" 

Gāo and Ruo starts to walk towards to Gāo's car. 

a few moments later Yang arrived, 

"Are you ready?" Yang Asked Gāo And Ruo 

"Yes I'm am ready" Ruo replied Yang and Gāo nodded He's Head and then Yang Starts to get into the car besides Gāo and Ruo was sitting in the back seat. Then Gāo suddenly asked Yang, 

"By the way, I don't know where your Uncle lives" 

Yang Smiled "Here, look at my phone it's tells us which way should go, There use it" Yang Handed he's phone to Gāo, "So, We're going to Shezhen?" Yang nodded, 

"Okay, put your seat belts on" Gāo told them after they put their seat belts, Gāo starts up the engine of the car and He starts to drive..
