If Yellow Dog did not remind him of it, this thought would never have occurred to him. When he thought about it now, there had to be some problem with this.

Another day of pacing the house and reading went by before Connor decided he would join his friend at the academy. He thanked Cecilia who had driven him to the gates and for a moment he simply stood and took in the grand sight that was the Royal School of Command and Stragetic Warfare known simply as 'Command School'. With its huge durasteel gates and thick plastcrete walls adorned with intricate carvings of the Immortal God-Emperor, it certainly was a formidable and glorious sight, he then entered the huge campus where the corridors were teeming with young faces trying to find their rooms, the cafeteria or some other place of interest. 

The buildings themselves were old, with the interior made of the local stone instead of plastcrete with obvious and many renovations visible throughout the oldest of the buildings. The corridors had intricate carvings and paintings lining the walls, each depicting a great battle or a noble looking officer, Connors parents were here somewhere both having played a part in the previous invasions defeat, he studied each one as he passed hoping to spot them but unfortunately they were nowhere to be seen he decided to look for them on one of his 2 rest days in the week. 

With no small amount of jostling, saluting and apologies Connor finally managed to find the way to his new room, unlike the rooms at the Royal Academy in York where a whole section of ten men or more would share the same cold, cramped room, these ones had two comparatively comfortable beds, a desk with stationery and an en-suite toilet and shower, other than that they were fairly plain.
Connor had no idea who his room mate would be, he knew it wouldn't be Foy because his friend already had a room further down the hall, there was a second duffel bag alongside his own so he knew someone had been assigned, however there was no name tag that he could see, he chose to leave it, he would find out sooner or later.
 
 Lunarius and Foy were to be put in the same class along with a group of others from across the Britannia system, there were many different uniforms there, a few from Hibernia the only other habitable primary planet in the system, some were from the moons of Caledonia and Cumbria which orbited Albion but the majority of the class however were from Albion itself as the most populated and largest habitable planet in the system. 

The first day was rather... disappointing, with Connors group recieving a tour of the acadamy and a plethora of boring presentations presented by instructors that knew just how boring they were but were nevertheless forced to do it anyway.
The one saving grace was receiving their officer gear, which included a decent radio, a new uniform and a power sword, this sword was weak compared to the ones used by the Imperial Guard or specialised assault units in Brittania but it was still enough to slice through the carapace of a Tyranid Gaunt, the common footsoldier of the Tyranids, or the skin of an Ork, Connor had once asked about receiving and using his parents weapons but was shut down quickly when he was informed that they were buried with them or they had been put back into circulation with someone else, this had angered Lunarias for a while but he eventually came to understand. 

Returning to his room, Connor decided to unpack, hanging everything up and folding everything neatly as he was taught to.
Looking at his new uniform he remembered what the instructors said when they recieved them, "all recruits are reminded to wear their uniform and weapons at all times when not on base" he wondered at this for a second, but  before he could think too much the door to the bathroom swung open breaking his train of thought. 
Out strode a tall silver haired girl with sharpe elven like features still glistening with moisture and a white towel wrapped around her body, they both froze, saphire blue eyes locked together with his own deep green and for a few seconds they lingered, cheeks reddening and eyes wide, with an effort of will Lunarias averted his gaze and began to apologise, he was cut off half way by the woman saying in a smooth, mature and calming voice "we're soldiers, you wont be the first to see me naked nor the last, now, if you'll allow me to get dressed I shall greet you properly" Lunarias simply gave a slight nod and stepped to the side allowing her to pass by.

 Despite the girls words he kept his back to her while she dressed, he could still hear her though, the towel dropping onto the floor, the shirt sliding onto her back and the socks gliding over her feet, his mind ran wild with lucrative thoughts and tempting images, he pushed them away but found they weren't so easily discarded, like promethean from a flamer sticking to his mind and setting it ablaze, begging him to look, to touch, and to... "are you ok?" he snapped out of it, the thoughts burning away like a morning fog. "sorry, yes im fine" he stated "just daydreaming" she gave him a suspicious look and said "im sure you were, but anyway introductions are in order" she began by saying that her name is Talith Solarian and that she was also there for the officers programme and that they would be in the same class, Connor then introduced himself before asking why he didnt see her at the introduction and orientation, Talith explained that she had been delayed due to a Guard convoy crossing the main highway, Connor knew what she meant, those convoys were fairly frequent in Camelot, especially around this time of the year with all the new recruits being inducted into both the PDF and the Imperial Guard.

 Connor was about to ask another question but a huge yawn escaped Talith, she explained that it had been a long trip from the starport, which Connor knew was located on the other side of the city and she didnt get any sleep so she was pretty exhausted he was a bit disappointed but they decided to call it a night, Connor quickly finished unpacking before striping down to his breifs and then slipped into bed himself, as he drifted off he tried to ignore the seductive whispers still lingering in his mind.

As an amateur Filipino teen writer I am not expecting so much from this book, but I can't help it, I want to be able to share a story to the mass and escape the world of reality for a while. 12th of September - The competition was held as scheduled!
The day before the competition, Lu Zhou and the others took the school bus and went from the new campus to the old campus. They would be living in the temporary dorms arranged by the school. 
The mattresses and pillows were prepared and so, the students only had to bring their own covers. Some people did not even bring the covers. After all, the competition would only last for 72 hours. The average bedtime for each student was less than 10 hours. 
For example, Lu Zhou was like this. 
His task was the heaviest as he had to finish the most amount of work. He could only sleep for a bit during the second night and so, he did not even bring a change of clothes. The first thing he did when he moved into the new dorm was to lay in bed and try to sleep. 
He had to force himself to fall asleep. 
When Lu Zhou woke up at five in the morning, he laid in bed until seven before he went for breakfast. He met up with Wang Xiaodong and Lin Yuxiang before they all headed to the dedicated computer room that the school prepared. 
According to the official registration information, there were more than 70,000 university students from 23,347 teams, across 1338 universities. There were teams from 33 provinces, autonomous regions (including Hong Kong and Macao), and the United States. Everyone clicked on the competition website at the same time and downloaded the questions. 
The competition was co-sponsored by the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education and the China Institute of Industrial and Applied Mathematics. Therefore it was rigorous and fair. Its influence was lesser than the "Challenger Cup", but the reward was in some sense more valuable than the "Challenger Cup". 
It was half-past seven in the morning when the ten teams sat in a computer room. 
Even though most people chose to use their own laptop to answer questions, they brought their laptop to the computer room. After all, wifi in the computer room and library could allow students to download theses online for free. They were expected to win this kind of competition through resources on Baidu. 
When Professor Liu came, he smiled and said hello to his three students. He did not talk about the competition. Instead, he asked how they slept or how were the dorms. After that, he walked out of the computer room, drove the school bus, and went back to do his own projects. 
At eight o'clock, the bell rang. 
Everyone quickly logged into the official website and downloaded the questions.
The questions were divided into ABCD for four major questions. Of which, AB was for undergraduate students, while CD was for students doing a specialized degree. Every team had to choose one question. The teams were given an md5 hash from the official website and they had to upload the thesis in PDF form and pass the md5 check. 
In general, as they only had half an hour to choose the question, everyone was scrambling to read the question. 
However, when they saw the questions, they were dumbfounded. 
"Question A is the design and control of the landing trajectory for Chang'e 3 spacecraft… Question B is designing a folding table! F*ck! What the hell are these questions this year?" 
"These are totally different from the training questions we did!"
"I did something similar a few days ago. It was something like designing the launch of the Shenzhou Rocket… But I didn't expect that question to come up in the competition… I'm too careless!"
"For f*ck sake, didn't you get 95 in advanced algebra? Think about something!"
"I studied advanced algebra, not rocket science!"
"Designing a table… How are you supposed to do that? Aren't there only four legs? Foldable… We can try adding a spring behind the legs?" 
The computer room was quite lively and it was obvious that the students were troubled by these questions as they had no idea where to begin. 
However, some students were different. 
For example, Luo Rundong from Lu Zhou's class was quietly communicating with his teammates. 
And Liu Rui… That kid seemed to be quite reliable as he had already finished reading the questions and was already assigning work to his teammates. 
Wang Xiaodong looked at the two questions and frowned. 
The sky seemed to have collapsed. 
The two questions were both related to physics. 
The first question was related to space trajectory calculations which certainly impossible to solve with just high school physics knowledge. On the surface, the second question looked simple, but it actually was not much easier than the first question. It involved the dynamic motion analysis of the table legs, material stress analysis, and a dozen other problems. Not only would it require mathematical modeling knowledge, but it also required a certain degree of involvement in structural mechanics as well as materials science. 
However…
The "mathematical genius" Lu Zhou in the group was only a second-year student and he had only just started his physics class. 
They had to choose the easier question. 
The first question was impossible to do without physics knowledge. They could try to turn the second question into a mathematical problem by using resources online. 
Wang Xiaodong looked at Lu Zhou, "Should we choose question B?"
Lu Zhou shook his head, "Choose question A."
"Question A?" asked Wang Xiaodong. He frowned, "Are you sure?"
"I've already finished studying university-level physics. Even though aerospace physics seems complicated, the content only spans three chapters," said Lu Zhou. He paused for a second before looking around and said, "Also, look at how many teams that are choosing question B."
Since question A was so scary, it was natural that most teams selected question B. Lu Zhou had to be brave and confront the dragon! 
Of course, Lu Zhou made this selection because he was confident about question A. 
Wang Xiaodong nodded and naturally understood the meaning behind Lu Zhou's last sentence. 
"Okay, then you'll have to do the modeling."
"I got this."
The two geniuses had reached a consensus. 
Lin Yuxiang looked at her teammates and asked weakly, "Which… Part can I help?"
Wang Xiaodong gave her a gentle smile. He was about to say "I'll do everything" when Lu Zhou, who was busy writing on an A4 paper, interrupted Wang Xiaodong and said impolitely, "Bring food and water, thanks." 
Programming, thesis writing, and modeling. All these three tasks were allocated already and the only thing they needed was someone for food delivery. 
Lu Zhou thought, "Don't think it's that easy to get a free win." He had to make this girl do something at least.

Lin Yuxiang did not complain. Instead, she nodded energetically, "Ok, I'll do it!"
The advantage of one person doing both mathematical modeling and thesis writing was that it removed the problem of communication. 
At the same time, as the captain, Lu Zhou could issue orders to Wang Xiaodong, who was responsible for coding. 
Therefore, there would not be any disagreements between the teammates!
There were three sub-questions:
(1) Determine the position of the moon's far side and close side landings. Also, determine the speed and location of Chang'e 3.

(3) Make corresponding error analysis and sensitivity analysis for your designed landing trajectory and control strategy.

The focus is on the question's analysis, which involves the entire thought process of the modeling, which is the entire soul of the paper," murmured Lu Zhou as he bit down on his pen and tapped his fingers on the keyboard. He wrote the outline of the thesis and began to define the critical soul of this paper based on his calculations.

Lu Zhou went into a state of being deep in his own thoughts. He was entirely focused on the question. 
After he analyzed the question, he felt like his brain was definitely clearer. Even the entire general framework of the thesis started to form in his mind. 
What was left was to translate the outline into a mathematical question…
For most teams, they did the thesis after the programming and modeling, but for Lu Zhou, he could do both at the same time!
This was their team's biggest advantage!

"Run!" Lizeth fired her rifle at the holes in that building. She fired the rifle worse this time due to the fact that the Focus ability was in cooldown. Lizeth ran to Abdul's direction in order to save him.

Abdul noticed Lizeth who was running in his direction with a rifle on her hands. He pulled a pistol out of his pocket and closed the laptop. The shout noticed the insurgents and they shouted something in Arabic as they started engaging Lizeth. Dozen of bullets started flying from the hole of the building.

"Aaaah," a bullet found its way to Lizeth's left hand. She used his focus ability again to slow down time. There was five insurgent on the building. She flipped the 3x zoom on her scope and made a precision fire on the enemy. 

Still, one of those guys decided to bring the big guns. A PK machine gun. It gave sudden shiver down Lizeth's spine. She quickly aimed down sights at the machine gunner and killed him. Abdul was running into the car and started the engine. 

Lizeth went for the passenger seat and she pulled the window down to shoot at the insurgent. The focus was on cooldown. One of the insurgents picked up the machine gun and started raining down bullets at her. 

The bullets were raining down. Not to the car, but to Lizeth. She got shot in the torso and in the left hand. Abdul managed to drive the car away from that city block of Fallujah. Lizeth, the foreigner, was more shocked than Abdul since she only knew that IS had been destroyed.

"You said that IS had been pushed away from Fallujah," Lizeth shouted to Abdul for the bad intel.

"Yes, IS, not insurgents," Abdul tried to make a good reason, "C'mon, at least we have good intel."

"Good intel your head," Lizeth opened his IFAK and raised the sleeves of her combat shirt to treat her wounds. He opened a bandage and wrapped it around the wounds on her hands. Lucky for her, thanks to the bullet damage reduction, the wound wasn't as painful as she thought it would be. "It's better be worth it Abdul," Lizeth said.

"Don't worry. It's a dead drop that is supposed to be sent for the insurgents," Abdul said. Lizbeth just smacked her hand on her forehead.

"It's not from INIS?" Lizbeth narrowed her eyes.

"Yes. It's supposed to be an intel that will be transported to a country. We intercepted it, I will send it to Langley," Abdul said as he handed down the laptop to Lizbeth, "Could you send it for me Lynx?"

She saw that Abdul was greeting several people on the street by calling them Habibi or habibti. The people just smiled at both of them.

The situation of the city made her wonder, 'Why the hell the things I see in the news is only woman in burka when the reality isn't?' she smiled at a woman in her veil. Abdul and Lizeth walked to a house near the river of that city. It was a safe house.

"I know you're very tired. Here's the key to your room," Abdul said as Lizeth took that key and walked to her room. Abdul left her because he wanted to walk around the town.

When she opened the room. She felt a cold breeze hitting her face. The room was a room with a simple bed, an air conditioner, and a bathroom. It was comfortable in comparison to sleeping in the middle of the car. She put her bag on the floor and put off her shoes. She put her body on the bed. Comfy. She then fell asleep.
