An old man dies peacefully, surrounded by friends and family. Expecting to reunite with his loved ones in heaven, he is surprised to find himself born in a new world as a dragon. What is a man who achieved contentment in his former life supposed to do with a new one? Guess he will have to live to find out...

Jiang Ying looked towards Rong Xiaoman with growing suspicion. [Where did big brother get that story from?] She thought with an absent mind.
Rong Xiaoman shook her head. [How careless of me.]
An awkward silence had descended on the two since they continued towards the black orchids, as they walked they came across a bench.
Laying on the bench was an old man, jugs of empty alcohol littered the ground beneath him. His eyes were closed as if he was asleep, wrinkles covered his face and his clothes were those of a beggar. They were dirty, stained with sweat and filled with holes and tears.
Jiang Ying covered her button nose in disgust, she could smell a foul odor coming from the old man.
As the two quickly walked passed the old man, his eyes snapped open as a wide smile covered his face. His teeth were missing with the exception of three which were wobbly and could come out at any time.
"Hey you two, come over here!" The old man said with a croaky voice.
Both Jiang Ying and Rong Xiaoman stopped looked back.
"Yes you two, come over here. I have something good to offer." The old man beckoned with his skinny arm.
Rong Xiaoman looked towards the old man with a frown. "I don't think you have anything that we would like. Come along little Ying." She turned around and Jiang Ying followed.
"Ahh.. looks like I'll have to sell my peerless martial techniques to someone else then." The old man sighed and lamented dramatically.
Jiang Ying's ears twitched as a budding curiosity grew in her mind.
"It really is too bad, they were some really amazing techniques!" The old man continued with a knowing smile on his face.
Jiang Ying stopped and began to hesitate.
Rong Xiaoman looked back and whispered softly. "Don't listen little Ying, he's clearly a swindler."
"Let's just take a look big brother, it couldn't hurt right? Remember I saw the rainbow sparrow, this could be my lucky encounter!" Jiang Ying replied with increasing enthusiasm.
Rong Xiaoman sighed. "Okay then, we'll see what this smelly man has."
Jiang Ying giggled as she skipped towards the old man with Rong Xiaoman in tow.
Stopping just far away enough not to be bothered by the smell, Jiang Ying fluttered her pretty eyelashes curiously as she asked. "What techniques do you have mister?" 
"Why aren't you two a pair." The old man chuckled as he inspected the children before him. He took a deep breath and replied. "I have two amazing, heavenly, godly, peerless, unbeatable, insane, beautiful, sexy-" The old man continued to boast endlessly about his techniques which caused Jiang Ying's eyes to shine brighter and brighter.
"Nonsense." Rong Xiaoman thought inwardly.
"-curvy.. large chest.. willowy waist.. round bottom-" The old man seemed to be in a daze as he drooled with dirty thoughts clouding his mind, his voice had become slow with dirty tone.
"Humph!" Rong Xiaoman snorted as she grabbed Jiang Ying who had long covered her ears in embarrassment. "Let's leave this lecher to his disgusting thoughts.. "
As the two began to leave, the old man snapped out of his dirty fantasy. With a shameless smile, he quickly said. "Wait, for just two imperial coins; you'll receive the two powerful techniques!"
"Imperial coin?" Rong Xiaoman frowned.
Imperial coins were the top currency for mortals, just below the spirit coin in worth which is the main currency for cultivators in the ancestral continent. It was worth a hundred normal gold coins and was quite expensive even for a middle class family which Jiang Ying belonged to.
Jiang Ying bit her lip, her hand hovered around her purse. Inside was a single imperial coin which was her entire allowance for the year.
Rong Xiaoman saw the indecision in little Ying's eyes. She rustled the little girl's hair as she threw two imperial coins towards the old man.
Jiang Ying saw this and she looked towards Rong Xiaoman with a grateful look and a bright smile. "Big brother.. thank you."
"It's nothing." Rong Xiaoman grinned.
The old man caught the coins and laughed as he took out two scrolls from his ragged clothes and handed them to Rong Xiaoman and Jiang Ying. 
"Off you two go, I need to get my beauty sleep." The old man laid back down on the bench.
"Thanks smelly mister!" Jiang Ying giggled.
The old man chuckled before quickly falling asleep with a loud snore coming from his throat.
The two children left the old beggar and continued walking down the winding path.
Rong Xiaoman inspected the scroll in her hand which had a rather stinky smell reminiscent of the old man. It was yellowed and worn, there were a tears and crinkles on the paper.
"Peerless technique? Hah! I don't believe it." She unraveled the scroll and what she saw made her eyes pop out!
"H-how could this be!?" Rong Xiaoman muttered in disbelief as she stopped in her tracks.
The scroll detailed an unfathomable technique called Rising Dragon that was 5 steps below her own cultivation technique Star Blossom! It was a technique suited to this male incarnation she inhabited since her own Star Blossom was only suited for females.
"How lucky.. " Rong Xiaoman looked back and gasped, the old man and the bench had disappeared as if it had never existed. "A strange old man....could he be from the upper realms? Heh, he must be one of those weird eccentric hobos who go visit the lower realms handing out techniques to everyone and their grandmas."
She caught up with Jiang Ying and quickly gestured with her hand. "Little Ying, let me have a look at your technique."
Jiang Ying was gleefully looking at her new technique when she heard Rong Xiaoman. Nodding her head, she handed over the scroll. "Okay big brother, be careful with it."
Rong Xiaoman inspected the scroll and just as she thought, it too was another peerless technique called Moon Fairy. Handing the scroll back towards Jiang Ying, she thought with a baffled expression. "Rainbow sparrow huh?"
Jiang Ying noticed Rong Xiaoman's baffled expression, a smug smile rose on her pout lips as she giggled. "I told you so big brother! I knew that old man was my lucky encounter."
"Yes, yes. I shouldn't have doubted you little Ying." Rong Xiaoman laughed with a smile.

Ariel, a strange young woman was obsessed to the point of insanity. In her entire life her deepest wish was to become an almighty god, yet no matter what she tried it seemed to be an impossible task.. until one day. Her ascension will shake all of creation and the myriad realities. She shall create with life sprouting forth from her hand and with the other she will destroy.. They will come to know that she is a benevolent god.. and will despair.

Alexander looked inside the shop and saw someone he recognized. Her blond-honey hair and purple eyes were the most outstanding features of her body.

"Great...just...Great!" Seeing Erina surrounded by a bunch of ugly looking boys made Alexander feel a little upset "The first thing I see when I walk in is a scene of an old-school thug movie."


"Who the hell is this pretty boy?" The blond-haired boy with the face-pierces spoke with his eyes narrowed.

"I bet he is one of the Stagiers like this check here." Another man with hoodie said and pointed with his thumb at Erina


"Alexander-sama!" Erina looked at Alexander with a surprise, she had never expected him to be here.


"Hello, I assume that everything is okay." Alexander walked forward and entered the circle and stranded with Erina

"Isn't that right?" He looked at the blond-haired man

Their eyes clashed for some time, as if they are testing each other's worth.

"Hyahaha!! Everything is okay! Let us go boys, we have a place to be." The men started leaving


"Old man! I am leaving!!" The blond-haired man shouted.


From upstairs, slow and loud footsteps came "never come back again! You ungrateful brat!!" A bald old man with an old-fashioned green suit came down.


After the boys left, the store became empty leaving only Erina and Alexander with the old man.

"I trust that you're from Totsuki." Said the old man


"That is right, I am Nakiri Erina and this here is Saiba Alexander, we were sent here to be stagier's under your shop." Erina did the talking.

"Hmm, I see, Saiba Alexander, the winner of the Autumn election and Nakiri Erina, Senzaemon's granddaughter and the God's Tongue." Said the old man "I am Orashiki Enryuu, the owner of this dying shop you see here." The old man's eyes carried a hint of sadness in them but that was only for a moment.


"Well, I think we were sent here to work on that problem." Said Alexander

"I agree," Erina added


"Hahaha! If that is the case, have a seat" the old man gestured for the two to take a seat at the nearby table.

"I don't want to be cruel or anything but I don't think that the two of you can solve this shop's problem." Enryuu poured himself a cup of water


"And why is that?" Asked Erina. Alexander decided to stay silent and just listen.

"This shop's problem is not a management problem or the bad cooking that most shops have...this shop's problem is...my grandson. Once, he was a great chef with a beautiful dream, but now, all that is left is a shell of his old self." The old man shook his head "Many before you tried to solve the problem but all of them failed."

"If your grandson is the problem then all we need to do is lighten up the dormant chef inside him. There are many reasons for chefs to abandon their shops. If you can provide us with a clue, I don't think that will be hard." Said Erina with a smile, she was very confident that as long as she the clue she needed, there will be no problem


"Oh! Very hard, even if you tried to give him the emotional speech, that won't work. He is absent most of the day but when he comes back, he brings in a group of delinquents who causes troubles and often fight with the customers." Said Enryuu "

Erina frowned "Why don't you report them?" She asked


"You think I will have the heart to throw my son in jail?" Enryuu retorted.

Erina didn't speak any further and just looked at Enryuu for a long period of time


"Sigh~ Let's start working and let us open the shop, we don't have time to keep thinking...We need to run the shop first."


"Alexander-sama!"

"Kid...!"

"We will deal with your grandson when the time comes." Alexander rolled up his hoodie's sleeves and headed to the kitchen.


Erina smiled slightly "Geez, I think he is right in a sense." She too stood up and followed behind Alexander


"Kids!...hahaha!!!" Enryuu laughed. He looked at the kids as they went straight to work. Most of the others tried to go after his kid first, but these two didn't take him as a priority now and focused on the shop. He has to give them that at least.


"WHAT THE FUCK!!!!" a loud and thunderous scream of Alexander came from the kitchen


"What is wrong?" Enryuu ran with his old body to the kitchen

"ITS ALL TRASH!!" Alexander pointed at the dirty kitchen with rage

Enryuu looked at the kitchen with the dirty tables and disgustingly dirty tools, Enryuu felt very embarrassed, his old face turned red "hihihi! It's a little bit dirty"


"What do you mean a little, everything is dirty, it is like a horde of animals passed right through here!!" Alexander couldn't explain how dirty the kitchen was, never in his life had he seen such trash in one place


"Well, the thing is...I told you my son is the chef here." Enryuu looked the other way as he didn't dare to look at the cold eyes of the lady beside him. Her eyes felt like spears hitting his head.

"Anyway..." Erina calmed herself a little "let us clean."


"Right, right. I will let you do that." Enryuu turned to leave but he was grabbed by his collar "You're cleaning too, Old Man." Alexander's eyes were glowing with hatred and anger, if the man in front of him wasn't the same age as his grandfather he would've punched him already.


The trio started cleaning with all their might. And after 3 hours, they finished, Enryuu sat on the ground with his hand on his back and his face twisting in pain "My back, my poor back!"

"What now?" Asked Erina, she looked at Alexander who was looking outside.

The streets were busy, people who passed by looked at the shop for a brief moment before they looked away after seeing the [Closed] sign.

'Hmm...the location is pretty good, there are also the travelers who came from the airport and the one going to it. It is a great place to do business here.' Alexander thought


Normally for shops like this with fights breaking in regularly, its reputation will go down and fewer visitors will come here and it could only last for a year at max, and from what he heard from the old man, this shop was like this for a minimum of five years.

"We start cooking... Old man, go outside and try to get the people in."


"Yes, sir." Enryuu, even though he was far older and more experienced than the boy in front of him couldn't help but do what he is told and help them with all his strength, maybe that is because he spent the time cleaning with them and felt their feelings of true chefs and was affected.


"And Erina, start cooking some food, make something with a strong aroma, just enough to attract people in."


"...I will work on that." Erina didn't like taking orders from anyone, but since the man she loves is the one doing so, she can't say no.


"I will work as a waiter, let's get to work." The three parted in three directions. Enryuu went outside and opened the door slightly and flipped the [Open] sign.


Erina started cooking some sandwiches with different ingredients. Alexander grabbed them and put them on a table and faced them to the outside window where people can see clearly.


Enryuu managed to get a few people in who were attracted by the aroma and the appearance of the sandwiches.


And one thing these people knew, they did not regret coming in. In fact, that might be the best decision they made in their lives. After all, the chef that cooked the food is the God's tongue.


No sooner, as Alexander put more samples on display, more people came in.


Alexander got busier with serving people, Erina cooked as fast as she can to deliver her dishes on time.


As for Enryuu, the old man started relaxing as he didn't even need to act as people got inside with their own free will.


'That's the power of an Airport for ya!' Thought Alexander.



While the shop started regaining its business slowly. Not many people were happy about such a thing.


On the other side of the street, the group from early this morning was watching as the shop was filled with people eating inside and people outside complaining to get in.

Alexander took some spare tables and chairs and placed them outside for people to share. Even he himself didn't expect this amount of people to swarm the shop, but he realized that this is the power of Erina's cooking.


"Seiryuu...The shop is going up. We better do something, or the old man won't be forced to sell the building, Remember, if you want to enter the circle, you need that building." One of the blond-haired boy's goons from before said. His eyes were covered with his hoodie but a faint glow could be seen, a sinister glow at that.


The blond-haired boy named Seiryuu frowned "Yeah...these two from before."


"What should we do with them?" Asked the hooded boy


"We will 'talk' with them later this night..." A giant smirk formed on his face when he said that, this wasn't the first time something like this happened "...let's go."


The group of the 7 men started walking away, but not far from the shop as they still need to talk with the two new students and teach them that sometimes life isn't fair.

The Best chef on Earth, Known as the Golden Hands due to his unmatched skills in cooking and monstrous talent has died.

After waking up he finds himself in the hands of young women. Knowing he had died, his only thought is that he had reincarnated.

But the world he reincarnated in is the famous Food Wars anime where chefs are highly respected and praised.

What will the Former Golden Hands chef do?? will he distance himself from cooking? or will he prove that he is the best in the field? Again.

In a place far, far away from the Northeast Province a dirty man sat atop a giant silhouette. From afar, the silhouette looked like a disfigured mountain, thousands of meters high.  The man sported a brown cloak; a disheveled beard covered most of his exposed face. He wore goggles across his forehead and smoked a cigarette while he sat, calmly looking at the horizon. 

"Hmm? Old Jaeger?"

The dirty man mumbled something and stared toward the east.

"So you have finally found a new partner, ey, old friend?" The dirty man blew a cloud of smoke  as he closed his eyes filled with sorrow.

A young woman in a blacksmith's attire struck a hot metal rod on an anvil right next to the man.  The young woman was covered in baggy clothes from head to toe with goggles that seemed too large for her face covering her eyes. Her long purple hair swayed in the wind with each stroke of her hammer. 

"Master?" She asked the dirty man after he finished mumbling.

"Kid, do you believe in destiny?"

The young woman scratched her head as she pondered, deciding to answer with a simple nod.

"Well, I didn't-at least not until now, of course." The man stood from the large metallic ore he had been sitting and attempted to futilely dust himself off.

"Old Jaeger finally reacted. It seems he has found someone." The man puffed out smoke, nostalgia plastered on his face.  Thee young woman knew of the legendary 'Old Jaeger.' It was her Master's training hammer held in her hand. 





A spiritsmith and their personal hammer had a personal connection, far beyond what normal people could comprehend. 

Old Jaeger was, however, a defect. Indeed, ti was a defective training hammer.  Almost everyone who trained with it would end up dead or disfigured. Her master and grandmaster were the only Spiritsmiths to ever survive its use unscathed. 

Due to its age and continuous use, it was no surprise that the old hammer had developed some sort of spirituality, allowing it to communicate with his master. Yet, something was not right.

For it to communicate means it was supplied with spiritual energy.  Someone other than master or grandmaster is capable of wielding it! Who?" The young woman stroked her chin as she remained deep in thought. 

"Master told me to prepare a gift for anyone capable of using Old Jaeger. Now is as good a time as any. Get off, kid. I need to work." the dirty man stretched his waist as he waved for her to go far away.

Wait, Master! You can't possibly want to smite the Colossus into a dantain? That would take days! We can't spend long here; the general gave us strict orders-"

That's odd; I seem to remember that it was the master who told the disciple what to do, not the other way around," said the dirty man with a cheeky grin. 

The young woman pouted and said, "Master is careless. If I didn't look after you, you would probably spend months without bathing and remain unemployed. Our current employer gave us a task! It is our duty as honourable Smithsmith to-"

Blah blah blah. Honour, blah blah blah, kindness,blah blah blah blah blah, sunshine and rainbows. Yeah, I got it, Kid. I don't care what hat old geezer orders. Master's task comes first. Master probably felt Old Jaeger too. Unlike you, I actually value my life and don't enjoy pain, so Imma get to work. Now, leave." Before the girl could rebuke, a large force hit her gut, sending her flying into the skies. Her body soared like a rocket flying into space. She displaced the air around her, causing whirlwinds to form in the sky. As she shot up, her body got slower and slower. 

The girl had no idea what her master had done to get her that hight. Perhaps he had used his hammer, perhaps he had used hers, perhaps he had only used a finger. Either way it didn't matter. The man had alreay made up his mind to take action, yet that was the problem: her master was no different from a giant. And when a giant took a step, the earth trembled. 

At some point, she reached the peak of her fight, but before she dropped wings made of spiritual energy sprouted from her back. They were white and graceful, like those of an angel.

She was 10000 meters above her master, so she got a proper look at the 'mountain' they rested on.

"I can't believe he wants to smite that."

They were not on a mountain. They were actually sitting on the corpse of a spirit or to be more accurate, the corpse's nose. Just the nose was thousands of meters high while the rest of the humongous behemoth stretched for miles on end. This was a humanoid Colossus Carbonite Golem, the largest type of documented spirit. 

Its body was composed of a strange metallic carbon form that was harder than diamond. In addition, it had the ability to expand any part of its own body at will. This was a spirit that could wipe out a single city with a stomp. The very mention of its name usually sent chills down the spines of those who knew what it could do, Yet, below her master was a Colossus that had been killed only a few hours earlier.

A large gaping hole where its heart usually was pierced its body. The young woman knew that it was her master who had created his hole, and he had done so with ease. This Colossus hadn't even been their mission; they had casually stumbled across it while it had been hibernating. The young girl had even initially thought that they had entered a mountain range. 

"When will I become that strong?"

The girl sighed in admiration for her master. She looked forward to being as strong as he was if she lived enough.

Boom!

A large shockwave hit her as she was lost in thought. When she looked at the ground, she saw spirit energy recoiling around the Colossus like an ocean in turmoil.

"He's started, but this is ridiculous. Even at this distance, I'm still within range!'

Realizing that she was putting her life at risk, the young woman flew much higher into the sky, trying to escape the effects of what was happening bellow. It wasn't until she had doubled the distance that she finally felt safe, but the booms continued on. 

Her master was smiting the corpse with a hammer, but from above, it looked as if nuclear bombs were detonating on after another. Clouds of dust and soot rose up into the skies. Crazed winds howled like wolves in the night. The sound of steel hitting steel echoed throughout the entire area. 

It was like a beautiful symphony of destruction. As the booms continued, the scenery changed, and her master's intentions took shape.

The young woman shook her head to escape her stupor. She signed and massaged her temples. 

"I have  to tell the General myself. We will probably be weeks late, not to mention that master is using his full force and will, no doubt, exhaust himself. The map for this area will have to be adjusted when he's finished. Contributions to that ought to count for something…"

Every day for six years straight, from the time he was twelve, Darius Omen hit an anvil with a hammer ten thousand times a day without stopping. He did not know the reason why he needed to, all he knew was that he had to. Little did he know that hit by hit, strike by strike, his originally meek body was being refined into something that had never been seen before in the history of mankind.

In the war against spirits, mankind had little to be proud of. Yet one day a young man entered the battlefield. He dazzled millions and killed even more, all with merely a rusty old hammer than no one could hold or fathom.

Over Alina's long-term stay with Alex, she had heard him talking about the homeless old man that turned him into the man who he is today. She heard all about the powers that this homeless old man displayed, along with the way that he just casually turned Alex into a Traveler.
Hearing these stories from Alex gave Alina a vague image about this homeless old man, along with a sense of mystery befitting this man's status.
However, all of that mystery has now disappeared with the old man showing himself!
But instead of having this sense of mystery get replaced by awe, what Alina felt now was only disappointment,  as she saw how dirty and unkempt Old Man looked.
With his appearance, Old Man did not look like a powerhouse that can kill anyone with his gaze.
The Old Man really just looked like a homeless person, one that seemed to have no interest on even fixing himself.
Just the lazy look on the Old Man's eyes and the carefree smile on his lips showed that however dirty he is now, he won't do anything to clean himself up.
Such attitude quickly made Alina's opinion about the Old Man go down.
But even with this kind of view, Alina still did not forget about what this man can do. After all, he is still a Half-Step Transcendent Being…
"…So this is why you're surprised, Alex. Now I don't blame you for looking like that." Alina said quietly, as she tried to make herself sound less intrusive to the still-shocked Alex. "But do you think that you have the time to ogle at  Old Man this way? You should see what is happening here, Alex. The Old Man's about to be ganged up by the other Returning Travelers… If they fight it out, we will surely be affected by it too! Are you sure that we should stay here?"
"…" Alex did not answer Alina's question at all, as he just continued to stare at Old Man. He seemed to be ignoring Alina right now, something that obviously irked the woman.
"Alex, quit gawking at the Old Man already! Answer my question!" Alina shouted out, with the entirety of her Esper Power laced in her voice. "Will you stay here or not?"
Once released, Alina made sure that her voice hit Alex squarely in his head, something which could hopefully break him out of his dazed state.
"Alex, snap out of it!"
Fortunately for Alina, her voice was able to penetrate Alex's mental defenses, shaking him back to reality.
"Ah, this, Alina, I-"
The dazed look on Alex's eyes was replaced with a clear one, as the man began to slowly regain control of his mental faculties. This was then followed by him giving a stuttered explanation, one that was quickly dismantled by the irate Alina.
 "Alex, you heard what I just said, right? A three-way fight between the Returning Travelers is about to happen here, and you still want to stay here? Are you sure about that? Shouldn't we just-"
"….Alina, there is no need for you to fear for our lives. Now that Old Man is here, I think that our troubles here are already resolved." Alex abruptly said, with his voice filled with extreme clarity.
He appeared to have lost all the shock that he just received from Old Man's arrival, with only a small smile on his face visible as he stared above him.  "So don't worry anymore Alina. Let's just stay here and watch."
"…"
 The way that Alex talked now made him look like he was really back in his normal state, something that made Alina feel inwardly relieved. But even if Alex is calm again, Alina could not just easily accept what he just said.
After all, there's still a fight that is about to happen above!
But before Alina could question Alex about his current decision, someone from the powerhouses above her suddenly began talking.
And this was speaker was not the Crimson God or the Great TimeMaster. It was Old Man who began talking, with his voice sounding both greasy and rough.
"Hey, hey, hey, I get it if Crimson God wants to fight me. But even you, Great TImeMaster? Shouldn't you be allying with me now? Huhuhu, if you're acting like this, does that mean that this old man has already lost his charm?" Old Man said in a sad tone, with his fake sobs sounding more like he was having an asthma attack.
Such kind of sound made Alina's irritation spike, as she could not feel anything now but sheer  distaste for Old Man's irritating voice.
"Sigh, this must be the sign of you having a menopause, Great TimeMaster. I think you should be laying down on those fatty foods…" Old Man continued to say, with his hands now miming the shape of a glass bottle. "Hehehe, instead of working, you should just act like me and stay in your house! I assure you, you will be much prettier if you're homeless like me!"
"…"

Someone like Alina could easily detect the innuendo hidden beneath Old Man's comments, much less the powerful Great TimeMaster, who seemed to froze after hearing Old Man's naughty comments.
 Obviously, his words were not taken with amusement by the two women, with Alina feeling extreme contempt for Old Man right now, and the Great TimeMaster quickly displaying her anger to this homeless man.
"If you want to keep your eyes where they are, dirty old man, then I suggest that you keep your words to yourself. If you don't then I will personally make you rot for eternity!" The Great TimeMaster certainly did not hold back to her threats, with her flared nose and reddened eyes showing how angered she is right now.
She even appeared to have already forgotten about  Crimson God's existence, as all of her killing intent and aura were focused on Old Man alone.

"You heard that correctly, right, Old Man? If you don't have anything to say for yourself, then you should accept your end now!" With Crimson God's 'support', the ferocity on the Great TimeMaster's eyes intensified, along with the aura gathered in her body.
 Her boat, which had already disappeared earlier, was now back to reality again, with its tip pointed directly at Old Man. Once pointed at its target, the tip of the boat began to burn with an intense green fire, with is green illumination bathing the Old Man with its green light.
"Scwhi schwi scwhi!"
Just looking at this boat, there is no doubt about it. The Great TimeMaster is prepared to attack Old Man already, and all that she had been waiting for is for the Crimson God to attack with her.
But before the Great TimeMaster and the Crimson God could vent all of their pent-up rage, Old Man began to talk again, this time with his voice sounding like an innocent child.
"Great TimeMaster, are you really going to attack me? In case you did not know, I was the one who turned little Alex into a Traveler." Old Man said, with his smile widening as the Great TimeMaster reacted to his words. "Tut tut tut. If you really consider little Alex as your friend, then why are you attacking me now? While the Great TimeMaster and the Crimson God were rendered silent by his words, the Old Man continued to talk, this time with his voice sounding like an aggrieved widow who just found out that her husband was killed.

Alain came out of the alley and found himself on a very busy street, with vendors on all sides of the street, with their products on display on towels on the floor. They shouted to get the attention of people passing through the streets. But the person who stood out the most was Alain. The look and clothes he wore put him out of place, especially that thing he wore on his face. He knew it would get attention, but he didn't care. He had no intention of being discreet. Here people wore clothes very similar to clothes used in Renaissance Europe.

There were some men dressed in armor with swords at their hips, and they looked at Alain with curiosity and alertness.

Finally Alain found what he was looking for. A tavern. Outside, the tavern had a single floor, its facade was brown, very worn by the weather. Inside, the place was poorly lit by torches that were in the four corners. At the counter was a fat, old, bald man who was cleaning the inside of a glass with a dirty handkerchief.

The innkeeper looked at the newcomer for a few seconds, and without interest in what he saw, he wiped his glass again.

- Good morning mate! - Alain said with enthusiasm. - a glass of anything other than water, in any glass other than the one in your hand.

- There's only beer, and I only have this glass. - Said the man without looking at Alain.
