We always expect something more from others but there is limit of the expectations. And when it crosses the line and become limitless ,soon there is end.

Episode 88 - Country of Music 2 'Eugene's unwanted spotlight'

The King raised his hand, motioning for the instrumentalists to play.
"Well, well." The King paused. Continuing, he spoke with sympathy in his voice. "Why don't you relax and release all your tension from your long trip by listening to some music?"
Before anyone could reject or refuse, he sternly added. "Please sit."
"...." Didn't we get tense because of you? Eugene rolled her eyes in her head, walking with the others to their stoned bench to sit.
Ario moved to the King's side and continued his introduction. "My King, this is Duke Earnest of the Marleigh family, and Duke Amos of the Rodriguez family. They are Xenperia's military general and Xenperia's Great Noble's." He motioned with his hands to Duke Marleigh and Duke Rodriguez as he spoke.
"Welcome, Welcome!" The King spoke with a smile on his face. His previous prey-like behavior, no longer on display.
'Bi-polar?' Eugene blinked at the King's sudden change of character.
"Thank you very much for inviting us. We will be in your majesty's hospitality for the next five days." The quiet Duke of Marleigh spoke, nodding his head to the King.
'The quiet man will take care of all the talks this week?' Eugene looked at Duke Marleigh in surprise. Even Louis, Ron, Aeselak, and Euria looked at Duke Marleigh in shock.
"Hm!" The Emperor hummed, nodding to Duke Marleigh.
Motioning to the children, Ario continued. "These are the 8 Paladin of Xenperia, L-"
"I know who they are." The King cut Ario, raising his hands to stop him from speaking.
'Again?' Eugene glanced at the King and Ario in suspicion. Raising her eyebrows, she thought back to the Chinese drama her former manager forced her to watch.
The King was rude. But his rudeness was the type of rudeness of a typical romance-tragedy tv genre. He was like those overbearing male-lead characters doing the wrong things to get his female-lead.
'Hmm..' Eugene rubbed her chin, turning her detective radar on.
According to her insights, men in these types of shows treat the person they fancy badly because the person they fancy doesn't return their romantic feelings. Seeing as to how the King always stopped Ario from talking, or when he showed the whole world he just bedded four men, this theory was definitely right!
'So when he showed those four men to everyone, it wasn't to us, but Ario huh?' Eugene finally concluded.
'Ario sure is brave to refuse the King's advances.' Eugene glanced at Ario.
Ario was currently smiling gently towards them, as if nothing was wrong, as if he was never interrupted. To this Eugene wanted to laugh!
'Ahh.. this King!' Eugene shook her head in her mind. 'Even though he stands above everyone, is a Supreme leader who commands overall, he still can't get a man he likes!' Eugene gently tapped on the stone-bench she was sitting on in fascination with this situation.
"A pity.." Eugene mumbled to herself, not knowing that the two Dukes heard her.

"Do you know how to play instruments, or write poems?" The King spoke to the Dukes, his eyes closed as if he was enjoying the harps playing in the background.
"No, Your Majesty. We are military men, so we are not familiar with these types of arts." Duke Rodriguez replied in honesty. All he knew was military drills. Poems and music was not something he touched.
"Ahh.." The King hummed. "So, you love blood and those explosion weapons?" The King raised his brows in question.
"And the children?" The King continued, being persistent on this subject. Glancing at a grey-like-white hair boy, he pointed. "Sure enough, you know one or the other?" The King smiled. His smile hinted that he had no expectations what-so-ever.
"I only know how to play the key," Louis honestly replied. And sure enough, the King's grin got wider.
"However," Louis looked at the King blankly. "When it comes to poems, my sister seems to be well versed at, Your Majesty."
"....." The King dropped his grin. "Hmm.." Chuckling, he questioned. "Your sister?" He glanced at the two identical girls. One had grey eyes, and the other had blood-colored eyes.
"Hahaha!" The King suddenly laughed! "I shall look forward to your sister's poem then!" The King lazily held his face with his hands as he laughed. Within a second, he ceased all laughter, becoming serious all of a sudden.
"If they don't live up to expectations, you know what that entails… right?" The King raised his brows at Louis, attempting to scare the little boy.
"..." Eugene blinked, blankly staring at Louis and the King. 'By sister… Did Louis mean her and Euria?' Eugene tilted her head to the side. ' So.. Euria is good at poems?' Eugene turned towards Euria who was stuffing her mouth with grapes.
Realisation hit her! 'No.. he meant her!' Eugene sharply turned her head towards Louis!
'Wait. Wait. Wait! Wait, one minute! What do 'you know what that entails' mean??!?!?' Eugene rapidly blinked her eyes.
Even Duke Marleigh and Duke Rodriguez were staring at Louis in shock!
"Yes Your Majesty, I understand." Louis's lips raised.
'What do you mean you understand?! For what reasons am I involved in this situation!? Am I going to be executed if I don't live up to expectations?!?! And most importantly, why are you smiling!??' Eugene's head exploded with questions! She wants Louis killed right this moment!
"Alright then!" The king replied happily, not giving a chance for Eugene to refuse! The King then motioned for the men playing the harp to come over.
On their way, the men grabbed papers and ink before walking to the King. Handing the things to Ario, Ario then handed multiple papers to Louis who then forced it into Eugene's hands.
"....." Eugene who suddenly received the tools glared at Louis before glancing at her opponents sitting across her. They too were staring at her, gently smiling.
"Alright then, shall we begin?" The King excitedly waved his sleeves for everyone to begin.
"Haa…" Eugene sighed, giving in to the current situation. What can a small girl like her do anyway? She picked up her brush and before she could think, the King spoke again.
"Oh, as for the rewards. This King will grant you anything you want." Continuing, he added. "The loser… well… The loser should take a swim around the lake? Hahaha!" The King boldly announced, shocking everyone in the room.
"YOUR MAJESTY!" Ario shouted, jumping up in shock!
Startled, the King furrowed his eyebrows at Ario. "You spooked me. Why are you raising your voice as if it's not a good idea?" The King raised his brows in question.
"....." Ario looked down.
"Reply." The King threatened.
With his head down, Ario softly replied. "It's nothing."
"...." Eugene glanced back and forth between the two. 'Well, swimming in the lake during summer is nothing.' Eugene optimistically thought. 'But then again, why would I lose?'
She glanced at Ario who was shifting around in discomfort and the King smiling, pleased because of Ario's reaction.
Eugene silently shook her head before feeling a nudge on her waist. Turning, she saw Aernest looking at her worriedly.
'Quickly write!' Aernest silently communicated, sending a telepathic message to Eugene.
'I know!' Eugene telepathy back.
Glancing at her blank paper, Eugene sighed again.
She wasn't one who cared much about poems but because of her career, many of her lines had to be poetic. Some roles required her to say elegant and sophisticated sentences. 'Ha...Those days were tiring.' Eugene daydreamed.
'I'm sorry poets! I shall steal your poems!' Eugene made up her mind. In deep thoughts, she twirled around her clean brush. 'Long poems were boring, but short poems wouldn't look good.'
The paper-cloth they gave her was thin and transparent. It was roughly the size of her whole body.
'What poem is appropriate in this setting?' Eugene tapped her brush, hesitating about what poems she should use. She had way too many options! She could use poems from her scripts, or famous poems everyone knows!
"Hmmm.." Eugene heard a hum. Glancing towards the noise, she saw the King smiling towards the poets who were currently acting shy and coy. Their faces were red and looked as if they were deeply in love with the King.
'..... Hello? Why are you flirting mid-competition?' Eugene frowned. 'Were they taking me lightly?' Eugene's mood dropped.
"Ha. Ha," Eugene suddenly laughed, an idea popping into her head. Should she write down poems about H.I.V, and that practicing un-safe xxx would lead to unwanted diseases?!? SHOULD SHE?!?
The loving atmosphere is too cringy! Should she destroy it with this brush and paper!?
"I'm finished." A soft voice suddenly announced.
Glancing up, Eugene stared at the Poet who was also looking in Eugene's direction. The mock in his eyes when he saw that Eugene's paper was pale of any ink. '... That's it, I'm executing you.' Eugene silently thought.
"I'm done too, Your Majesty" The 2nd poet also announced. Unlike the first poet, he never glanced at Eugene but only at Ario's direction.
'The jealous type.' Eugene's detective radar actively picked on.
"Alright then, begin when you are ready." The King smiled, motioning for the first poet to read out his poem.
Before the poet began to read, the Dukes and the Paladins worriedly glanced Eugene's way. They were anxious because she hasn't written anything yet. Even Louis, the culprit behind the scenes, furrowed his eyebrows.
Eugene shook her head to relay that everything was alright. Putting her brush down, she glanced across the room to the Poet who stood up to read.
'Everything is alright.' She didn't need to write to remember her poems. She was, after all, using poems from her former world. Besides, she was going to decide which poems to use after her opponents finished reciting. This way, she will have the advantage to counter their attacks and win!
The 1st poet nodded to the King, indicating that he was ready.
"You may begin." The King replied, crossing his legs and closing his eyes to listen.
"Yes, Your Majesty" The 1st poet with bobbed hair replied.
Shifting his body towards the guests, he began in a sad, sorrowful voice that came up from nowhere.
"Let your children be flowers,
Free from pains and hardships,
Oh, god, overestimations,
Lead to eternal sleep,
Regrets and pains,
Are not worth your greed.
Innocent innocent flowers,
We pray for thoust loss"
The bobbed hair man ended, swiping tears that dripped down from the corner of his eyes.
"....." Everyone stopped breathing.
Eugene felt her face dropping. With a face devoid of any emotions, she glanced at the people sitting beside her.
Duke Marleigh and Duke Rodriguez's faces were completely black. Even Louis and Aedelak who normally didn't show any emotions looked stiff.
The poem roughly translates to:
"Let your children be flower" - 'Let the children be children.'
"Free from pains and hardships" - 'Free the children from adult's war.'
"Oh, god, overestimations." - 'You're overestimations.'
"Lead to eternal sleep" - 'Will kill your children.'
"Regrets and Pain" - 'You will regret and face the worst agony'
"Are not worth your greeds" - 'Their death isn't worth adult's greed.'
"Innocent innocent flowers" - 'The children are innocent.'
"We pray for thoust loss" - 'We pray for your loss'
The last line of the poem was problematic. They weren't dead yet, yet the poem was praying for their loss. This was something that should never be said to someone who was still alive, as it brings bad luck. Not to mention, the poem was certain that they were going to die.
"Young Miss." Aedelak softly muttered. She broke character and publicly glared at Louis for putting Eugene into this situation!
Clenching his hand for 2 seconds to release his unwanted emotion, Louis glanced at Eugene. To his surprise, Eugene was smiling as if she was holding in her laughter.  Following her gaze, Louis saw that the King too had the same reaction.
Like Eugene, the King of Zene almost burst out laughing. Sending love eyes to the poet, began to clap in acknowledgment.
This action of his made Eugene lean for her STD poems even more!
Eugene looked at Ario who had the same dark expression as Duke Marleigh and Duke Rodriguez. The three stayed silent, looking as if their mouths were stuffed with paper.
"What's wrong? What's happening, sister?" Aernest noticed the dark atmosphere and asked.
"Hmm... They are sick." Eugene replied, loud enough for the people sitting on her side to hear. By sick, Eugene meant mentally ill.
"Sick? What sickness?" Euria furrowed her eyebrows and asked. Her cheeks, now stuffed with watermelon.
"Hmm.." Eugene pondered for a moment before replying in all seriousness. "This sickness is in the head. It's called being mentally dysfunctional or mentally disabled. They only contract this sickness when one feels inferior to you."
Eugene smiled, knowing what poem she was going to use to counter.
"Huh? I don't understand what you are saying, sister." Euria drooped chin, displaying her double chin publicly.
Eugene shook her head, her eyes conveying that Euria was too young to understand.
"Sister, I also do not get it!" Aernest chimed in, seeing that Eugene wasn't going to elaborate further. She was always like this, using difficult words that he couldn't understand when they were around people of older age! She becomes a different person when she meets different people, especially when she encounters people she dislikes!
Eugene softly sighed, before explaining. "They are sad people. Every day, every year, every second, they are sad people. People we should pity!" Eugene explained in simple terms. "Their heads are broken into many pieces."
".....Psh…" Ron Graeme snorted, unable to hold back his laughter.
Duke Marleigh and Duke Rodriguez too had a hard time holding in their laughter. They were worried for Eugene but seeing her saying that the people across from them are basically retards, they felt relief. She was still alright with the competition!
Elbowing Louis, Ron Graeme whispered. "Your sister is amazing. So young yet as sharp as a sword. I really don't want to be the one she talks about! It's too hurtful!"
Louis shook his head. He was worried over nothing. In these types of situations, Eugene was the best person to play. And that was simply because she was young yet sharp.
Because she was young, she could get away with anything and that was why he had Eugene be put in the spotlight instead of him…
Okay, that was a lie. He just wanted to see Eugene give up…

On her last breath, she thought, "it wouldn't matter if I died." But when her eyes opened again, a baby clinged onto her out of nowhere. They said it was her twin sister!?-Cross that- She became a baby? -Cross that- A whole bunch of clingy family members popped out of nowhere! After her brain started functioning as- per-normal she realised….

This letter will be called, "the importance of the occasional vomit" or, "the barf paper". Now, to understand what I mean by barf paper, you should first understand the differences between poetic writing, musical writing and normal writing, oh yeah, sure! poems are only for this or that types huuh! Well, second off, bullshit! Third, music and normal are more closely related types than poetry is and so, I've found it, (poetry) to be a wonderful moderator between the other two, say I'm trying to write a piece of music, I start losing words, even whole phrases, ive got two other forms of writing to draw contexts from! Making three, forms, and, there are more than that but, for now, lets just keep it simple with the three. One very useful facet of this new dynamic, is that for me, the different writing forms actually flow together, interweaving their very own mystery which waits for me to find IT! This view also serves as a destructor of writers block, which can be vary insidious but, the ready made mystery detector, of these three writing forms, interlaced, interlocking, smooth as glass and twice as shocking, IS (probably) just another form (of writing), and actually very different from free writing or auto writing. Those two, (probably the same thing), cant quite mirror but, do nearly mimic, the other three, used together. HERE!! Ill show you how! Form writing is a learned and structured experience, with definite marks, rules grammar, punctuation etc., whereas, auto writing, allows the penner or writer, the freedom of both mind and self, to collaborate and mingle at the same TIME, as creation is taking place. Now, the two of these concepts, auto and form writing, both or, each, have their own "lists of most compatible linguistic devices", which can do their mimic, mirror dance actually behind your eyes or, "the eyes of where you create from", and ritualize for themselves, say, the muse invokations that are so popular among certain genre type writers, now, if perhaps id actually bothered to get myself an education on writing, I could be spouting off a lot of spiffy little quotes from all the giants of ours and other AGES, which could even tug this little shysterfest of an idea, along into perhaps an instructional manual, perhaps even cohesively, weaving, so to speak, the previously aforementioned "forms of writing", into an example of this, BRAID, form that I may have just come up with. How then does one  begin, a braid? Well, start, with the form you're most accustomed to, (normal, poetic and or musical) practice one, for a couple of hours, get comfy with it, then switch to one of the other two forms, then after a couple of hours of that, do a couple hours in the third form, and proceed as you would in making a hair braid, making each overlapping "layer of strands", or threads, wider and more supportive to each last, or leaner and more primal and muscular. Wash, rinse, repeat!.... The biggest rule, to the tri braid writing form is, that you must set your OWN rhythmic boundaries for each of the three subordinate forms used in the braid. And, understanding this also involves just accepting that not all poetry RHYMES! Or even should RHYME! Some of the best poems DON'T rhyme! And any professor of it worth his salt, will tell you or, at least try to teach you, that there IS meaning, and then there's rhythm, and that to sacrifice all of one for all of the other, well, some say it negates the very practice but, I've come to think of that Meaning, Rhythm, Fulcrum, as a kind of a compass, yeah, im just that self involved! Or, it may be that its a part of my muse getting invokation or some such, here nor there, this is exactly how its done. If you've decided to invest in the unrest of the politically disadvantaged, or, if some social injustice looms and beckons your off hours, or if you're just fascinated with rhythm and then force-feeding it meaning, then, this may be right up your alley! And here! Ill tell you another secret! That ill explain the relevance of to you later but, certain, very few, altered states, can be counted on, (quite?) reliably, to produce a certain quality and range of variables within the fabric of your story. One, extreme elation. Probably the best one, learn to use your other emotional states to drive your creative process and clash your ideas every now and then but, if you learn to differentiate between your personal moods, WHILE creating, and the personal  moods of the characters or environments in your work, this prompts detailing, and even a sort of "MACHO" thing for some people but, im not here to judge, ill move on from emotional states, to the seriously more ominous and least navigable, mental states. Hint, there's lots more mental states than there are emotional ones. (There are more variables in one than in the other?)  We just haven't, or wont, go exploring as a human race!! And so, acclimatize into our discomfort zones as outwardly as our characters will allow. ONE reason I know this is true and real is it sounds good one MORE, reason, IS, that ive experienced, actually differentiated, multiple mental states meaning, when I'm on the verge of a seizure, I can actually draw, or write, from states which seem to merge say, inquisitiveness with say, anger or fear or, maybe pride with joy, in some times more magnified ways and in one way, it makes the common sense that everyone already knows, but in another, those states ive mentioned seem to feel, a certain waY, THE THING IS THE "SEEMING", TO FEEL, is itself the connection for every one mind, to every common heart, out there searching or, knowing already, those others who understand him! And that is the very key toto creating a believably  character, that set of voices, vibes and variables, that gives any good story its vavoom! Or, whatever it requires to move it along its timeline, which brings us to plot, and this in combination with environment, will usually round out the toolbox for depth of character, with the exception of preferrences and natural attributes, the character can be clay to the external environment or, the vice versa. Intentions, emotions, thoughts and impulses however, make up say, internal environments, environs more conducive to protagonistic behavior, whereas antagonisms preclude behaviors driven by insinct and or intuition, as per the or depending on, the sex of the antagonist, male or female supposedly as, instinct and intuition are often seen as male and female traits, the protagonist, either individual or faction, oddly enough, more oftentimes displays the moral as counterpoint to the more often emotional responses of the antagonist. Unless of course, your plot is thicker and or, more twisted, than conventional, usual, academia would instruct. Or, if you use your imagination, you can follow yourself around as your creative process leads the characters, events and environs in and along the storyline. This This can This can be used to suspend disbelief, or, lay in a new scene setting or even to detail a single image and or the importance of, a single image as in say a verbal montage or, introduction or other narrative. 


It had been 6 yrs since I had awakened my quirk and this time couldn't have been more awesome. 

Though I trained on daily basis, I never really gave it all the importance in the world. 

I definitely wanted to enjoy my childhood once again, which I did, no matter how old you are mentally, it all boils down when you are in body of a child. 

That thing happened with me, though I had maturity in my decisions and had great knowledge, that still didn't stop me from enjoying my childhood. 

It was the most desired thing in the world, being able to live your childhood again, I won't let it go to waste. 

I learned many things over the past years, from things like how to change diapers, how to manage a group of children, how to make a baby sleep to advance level physics and mathematics. 

I was also growing rapidly, both physically and strength wise, I looked like a 14 yrs old while my strength had increase several folds, I could lift 15 ton rocks with little effort and throw 1 ton rocks like basketballs. 

My top speed had reached almost 40 m/sec, and I could run at speed of 30 m/sec for an hour and could run at Olympic fast running speeds for indefinite amount of time. 

But these were one of the trivial things, I had discovered much about my body. 

I was just too different that original spiderman. 

I had many new powers that developed over the years, I could stick to a surface autonomously with only one part of my body touching the surface, like a ninja in naruto. 

I could now sense electrical currents around me and developed an electrical sense, along with the ability to convert my stamina into electricity. 

That was one of the best abilities that I gained, though it wasn't  comparable to a electricity generation quirk, it was still quite great. 

Then came the ability that I never thought I would have, spider venom. 
I had special glands at the tip of my fingers which created and stored different types of venoms and medicines. 

My left hand housed five different types of 'potions' as I called them. 

First was an adrenaline which gave me temporary boost in power and reaction time. 

Second was a Pain killer, which dulled pain to a great degree. 

Third was strength enhancer, the increase could be even 2 or 3 times, but it had a condition that it consumed stamina at a great rate and left the user weak for a period of 3 days after usage. And had a buffer time of a week before one could use that again. 

Fourth was thought capacity increase, which increased your brain powers and analytical powers by a huge degree for 3 hours but left you with a migraine for almost a week and had to be used again only after a month. 

And the last was the Healing shot, it increased the natural regenerative properties of the body by 2 to 3 times. 

Each finger held one of these and these 'potions' could only be used for 3 times before they would have to refill. 

In my right hands were five different venoms. 

First was strength drainer, it drained the target of its strength, though I didn't knew it's actual capabilities as I never used it against someone. 

Second was Fatigue, which lowered the opposing parties ability to produce adrenaline and get into state of adrenaline rush. creating a huge disadvantage for them. 

Third was paralysis, which paralysed targets for 15 minutes. 

Fourth was a neurotoxin which dulled reaction time for 15 minutes. 

And last was sleep, which induced sleep in the target. 

Effect of these debuffs was depended upon the enemy's resistance and the quality that I could produce. 

Each finger had one of these and could be used 3 times before they had to refill. 

Over the past years I had gained quite the resistance against these venoms as I used them on my body to help it develop resistance to these. 

This ability awakened three years ago, but it was still not the best. 

The best ability that I gained was that I could now control properties of my webs, like it's tensile strength, it's elasticity, the time after which it dissolves, it's conductivity, and it's general shape. 

This gave me many new options to explore, I could create elastic balls, sticky balls, bounce balls, sling shots, whips, chains, and many other stuff. 

I could even create electric taser webs and whips like that of whiplash (villain of ironman 2) 

All in all, the increase in my abilities were massive, not to speak of my attributes. 

That aside, it had been a great time. 

I had a couple dozen of small kids who looked up to me, I was their 'big brother', I even had respect of those older than me. 

But last year me and some older children had an amazing idea and collaborated with each other. 

Using the nursery rhymes, poems and songs I knew from my world, we compelled the head matron to record those in her melancholic voice, did some editing and posted them on U-tube. 

It was an instant hit amongst toddlers and babies, the income obtained by that was in millions. 

That was more than enough to support out 'little' orphanage.

But one thing matron said was that these songs and rhymes were not to be sold out to music companies, she wanted it to be free so any child could hear those songs and rhymes. 

I didn't took the credit and gave it all to grandma, she was the one who created and sang those songs according to public knowledge. 

I didn't want to attract attention so it was great. 

And people accepted that as it was only right for once great singer who now was taking care of dozens of children to be creating such stuff. 

Apart from that, school was going great, it was a small school at the edge of the city, mostly orphans went there as it was a free school. 

Life was going good, everything was much better than my last life, I was truly grateful for this second chance

Days go by in the city of Ellicht.
Everything seems to be looking up for Lillian and her everyday endeavors. Like water gushing from a cascade, her career has been sailing smoothly as she keeps plunging into an ocean of golden opportunities.
Not only did their Dawn atelier grow largely and gain the recognition of a well-distinguished fashion house, but they also branched out to a lot more forms of commerce and trades. Fashion designing isn't just the sole focus of their ventures from then on. They had engaged in a variety of commercial undertakings as well.
Lillian becomes the forerunner of a myriad of firms and enterprises - mostly innovative and unconventional since all of her inspirations came from the modern world where she used to live in.
Starting off with the food industry, she worked with Ruben and a few outstanding culinarians to modernize traditional recipes and invent new ones. It all began when the siblings' quick service restaurant eventually brought forth a new breed of diners and eateries, leading them to build branches in different parts of the city.  
The next one Lillian brought to life was a long range of sweets. With the help of several experts in the field, she invented ice cream along with its seemingly endless list of flavors, milk chocolate bars and a diverse assortment of confectionery like hard candies and marshmallows, new types of cakes, pastries and pies, sweet tarts and cotton candies.
She also built several drink shops, and the most notable one that became popular among youth and adults alike are her frappe and milk tea shops. Designed after her previous world's modernized means of enjoying these types of beverages, she made parlors that solely offer these particular products. 
Apart from these, Lillian is still on the go with her cosmetics business. By working together with chemists and other professionals, she expanded the world of cosmetics not by only focusing on color products but by adding more in the categories of skin care, hair care, fragrances, and personal care.
Though make-ups were still not widely-accepted among women in this era, those other beauty categories helped give cosmetics a better reputation. In the entertainment world, however, these make-ups have become a huge necessity.
Among Lillian's most noteworthy and groundbreaking inventions, there protrudes the making of malls and department stores.
With her list of business establishments expanding in number, she thought of building shopping districts that are different from the ones people used to see in the streets. Instead of outdoors, she turned it into an indoor setting.  
Since a mall is a large building or sometimes, a series of connected buildings containing various retail stores and restaurants, several other business firms come together to make this remodeling of shopping districts come true. It's a lot more convenient and offers a healthy competition among companies.
Due to these piles of outstanding achievements, Lillian didn't only grow as an acclaimed individual. She also became incredibly wealthy at such a young age. Her income kept adding more digits until her entire savings turned into something more than she could spend for herself alone.
That's why she decided to participate in several community immersion programs. She also made huge donations to the temple and a number of charity houses. 
With all these things happening, Lillian finds herself as busy as ever. 
Now, a whole year had passed since she became an apprentice. 
She had made a name for herself and was labeled as a prodigious figure written down on the history of the empire. In fact, she's the first ever apprentice who had made a fleshed-out business conglomerate.
It wasn't easy for Lillian, though. That's because she didn't only train as a designer apprentice, but she also had to make advanced studies on business and marketing, manage her firms and projects, and act like an adult most of the time.
There's a lot of sleepless nights, times when she burnt the midnight oil, getting headaches and over-fatigued, and working her bones to death. Definitely, she's no longer just a normal teenage girl at this point - 
Or so, that's what most people think.
"Seventeen-year-old Wonder Lady, huh...? That's a bit too much," Lillian thought out loud while reading today's news headlines.
While hanging around the patio of her stately home, the designer apprentice takes time to enjoy her morning with a cup of hot chocolate and a platter of light meals. Along with this newspaper she's currently reading, she woke up to find yet another mountain of letters from her clients and fans. 
Now that Lillian got enough money for herself, she's no longer living in the second floor of their humble studio - which had also undergone a renovation and was now a five-story building. She had acquired a huge portion of land in Aria and built her own personal residence. 
It's not so intimidatingly imposing like the mansion where Alexander is presently living. She designed it with a touch of her former home in the countryside that blends well with her own taste and the modern kind of houses that can usually be seen in her previous world. 
"Anyways, let's move on to our main objective for this morning..." Lillian muttered to herself, putting down the newspaper and turning to look at the piles of envelopes on the table at her opposite side. 
"Another day, another mountain of readings."
With an exhausted sigh and a smile, she looked at them as if facing a recurring cycle that made her want to complain but couldn't. She knew how tremendous of a help this activity was since she's able to know the people around her more along with other happenings that couldn't be found on newspapers. 
But then, like what she said to herself earlier, she doesn't act like an understanding and rational adult all the time.
That's because every time she does her daily reading, she gets to feel how a teenage girl like her will most likely experience at this stage of adolescence.
"He sent another poem again... With three drawings this time!" Lillian beamed as soon as she found the envelope that she'd been looking for.  
Attached to this piece of paper is a small bundle of lilies, which had long been accompanying the letter as an accessory that would always let her know that this envelope was from the same sender. Every single day, this person would not fail to deliver a message to her in the form of a poetry.
It was only during the time she turned seventeen that she began receiving sketches and drawings of hers, though. Most of the times, it's a picture connected to what's being depicted on the poem.
"Oh, so this was the time I visited the orphans at the temple yesterday... He sure doesn't lag behind the news..." Lillian quipped with a soft, delighted smile, her eyes glued on a drawing of her playing basketball with a group of male orphans.  
"You're such a stalker, Lewis."
Up until now, Lewis keeps sending her those love poems.
At one point in the past, she tried going to the address from which the letters were sent from. She wanted to see and talk with him personally. But every time she did, she always found herself in the wrong residence and empty-handed. 
It turned out that Lewis only used that address just for the sake of getting his anonymous letters pass through the security check. 
What's more, it's not just his address. He also doesn't want to tell much about himself and how he's been doing. 
Lewis did drop some clues about places that he went to, and they're often somewhere near where Lillian was. He talked about how beautiful she looked in his eyes that time, her graceful movements and lovely smiles, and other sweet nothings that really made her feel like he'd been there together with her.
"But to think that the Grand Archduke himself has been sending me these anonymous love letters... Just what would the press say once everyone found out?" she asked to no one in particular.
Lillian is always making sure to keep the letters hidden from everyone, though. She even has a locked drawer in her bedroom where she compiles all his letters over the year. 
She holds those papers dear to her for several reasons. For one, it's the only communication she has with Lewis - a one-way street at that. She can't respond to them since she's been warned not to to at one point.
It just happened that Lillian kept sending back letters to the same address on his envelopes even though she knew that it's a fake one. The reason why she persistently did this was because those letters she sent never went back to her, which meant that someone had received them.
Then, it turned out that Lewis had been notified by the letters she kept delivering. That's when he finally revealed his real identity as the Grand Archduke, the reasons why she can't be in contact with him, and his intention to keep her from worrying about him by sending those poems.
He knew that she'd be searching for him, so he tried to do something that would reassure her but keep his distance at the same time.
Unbeknownst to Lewis though, that's not what he only achieved over the course of time. He had no idea how much his words were affecting her since he couldn't get a response from her.
As Lillian keeps receiving those love letters, she's gradually falling for this nerdy friend of hers.


Making out with her lover inside her workplace is never a part of her wild imagination.

"You know, you're a bad influence..." she managed to say despite his ceaseless smooches.

"You're distracting me from my work."

"Oh, so it turned out that my beloved's career is my strongest competition around here, after all," he mused out loud with an amused smirk to which she only giggled.

"Perhaps, it is."

"Too bad for it, though. I've got the upper hand."

"Oh, really? How so?"

"Well for one, it can't do this."

That's when he hoists her up and places her on top of her office desk out of nowhere, making her squeal in surprise. Taken aback, she just returns his knowing look with a baffled one. 

He then begins kissing her once more - deeper than ever.

His arms are tightly locked around her waist while her hands are now splayed across his broad shoulders. She's having a hard time repressing her moans on this one, especially when he seems to be getting better and better at it every time their lips connect.

She already had a strong feeling about this when they first did it last night, but his touches, lips and warmth - they're all so intoxicating that she completely forgot again that they're still inside her office.

The black market.

Someone loudly called out: "We've found a poem of divination! Anyone who would like to know, bring your treasures here and make a trade. #200 or above coins, treasures of similar value or a different poem of Divination will also be accepted!"

Everyone turned to look.

The one who said that was a well-known Combatant.

After he made the announcement, he had members of his organization get into battle formations, and got ready to fight.

Because someone might come with ill intentions, wanting to use violence to know what that poem of divination was.

An over-3-meter tall muscular man stepped forward and stopped near them.

This was another well-known close-combat Combatant by the name of [Beheader].

"So you're the famous Beheader? Do you want to exchange information with us for the poem of divination? Or do you want to fight?" the Combatant asked.

"Of course I'm here to exchange information" the Beheader answered in annoyance, "there's a total of 21 poems, even if someone knows them all, they still have to analyze it to find out where the labyrinth is, I don't have time to waste"

"Very well, my thoughts exactly, then let's conclude our transaction quickly" the Combatant said.

The Beheader pulled out a coin and showed it to him: "This is the #337 coin, I think you already know what it does, I want to exchange it for your information"

The Combatant took the coin and smiled.

"Very well, I'm very happy with this offer, I accept"

Everyone silently watched them complete their trade.

A few moments later.

The entire black market began to exchange information regarding the poems as well.

There were almost no large-scale battles.

Because battles took time, and every second wasted fighting was a second where others were using to step closer towards becoming a Demigod.

Soon enough, everyone found a total of 9 poems of divination within the Holy Bibles.

Gu Qing Shan and Little Xi were quickly flying through the vast, endless desert.

They went past sand dune after sand dune, flying towards a certain direction.

Little Xi still couldn't contain her surprise, asking Gu Qing Shan again: "So you actually managed to learn the Skill that the Divinities' enemy used to hunt them, how incredible"

"Do you want to learn?" Gu Qing Shan asked.

Little Xi hurriedly nodded, extremely excited.

"But how should I teach it to you?" Gu Qing Shan asked.

"There's no hurry, after your card grade increases a bit more, when you can create cards on your own, you'll just have to teach it to me through a card" Little Xi smiled.

"I can do that?" Gu Qing Shan asked in surprise.

Little Xi replied: "Of course, you're currently only a grey card. You don't even know simple card terms like treasures, summoning tools, and card creation, so the more complicated ones are out of the question. You just have to quickly increase your own card grade, and I think becoming a Demigod is the best shortcut for that"

Gu Qing Shan asked: "Didn't your power also decrease by a lot? Why aren't you aiming to be a Demigod instead?"

"Because I already have a plan and a clear idea of what to do to get stronger, while you're still a blank slate, you can use the Divinities' way to become stronger first before anything else"

While they were talking, a male voice suddenly called out.

"Where are you going?"

The black-skinned man suddenly appeared in front of them, blocking their way.

He was a ruler of the desert, a powerful creature from the Abyss of Sin.

"Ah? It's you?" Little Xi quickly reacted and smiled: "We're going to-----"

Gu Qing Shan quickly chimed in: "---go around the desert, searching for a way to leave this world"

"Let me talk to him" he sent his voice to Little Xi.

Little Xi was surprised, but kept quiet.

The black-skinned man stared at the two of them and asked: "How strange, why aren't you trying to read and analyze the Holy Bibles, that's the only way to seal the monster"

Gu Qing Shan didn't answer him and instead threw something to the black-skinned man.

He caught it and took a look.

It was a small black bag.

"I've checked the bag, there's nothing but money in there, you can use it when you leave" Gu Qing Shan said.

The black-skinned man put the black bag away and continued to ask: "What are you going around for?"

"I already told you, looking for a way to leave"

The black-skinned man said: "The entire world is already eaten by that bug in the sky, how is there a way to leave?"

"Yeah, because it's a bug, there should be various openings and hollow areas within its body, our goal right now is to search for those hollow areas" Gu Qing Shan answered with a serious expression.

The black-skinned man said nothing.

"Find a way to leave this world from here…" he muttered in a low voice.

"Look, I'm not wasting time standing here chatting with you anymore, we're going to keep looking" Gu Qing Shan told him.

"Alright, I hope you'll find the way" the black-skinned man smiled at them.

He moved out of their way.

Gu Qing Shan brought Little Xi and flew past him, quickly disappearing into the horizon.

The black-skinned man silently watched as they left and muttered: "The way to leave… I hope you'll find it…"

He disappeared from the sky.

A sand storm began to brew in the desert of sand.

After Gu Qing Shan and Little Xi went far enough away.

Gu Qing Shan finally stopped.

Little Xi also stopped and asked him: "Why did you say that to him? Weren't we looking for the labyrinth?"

"Where's the Abyss of Sin?" Gu Qing Shan asked her back.

"Ah, with our current speed, we'll reach it in about 2 hours" Little Xi answered him.

"Are all the wardens inside the Abyss of Sin powerful wild creatures like that black-skinned man?" Gu Qing Shan asked again.

"Of course not, only a few of them are like him, there are other different types of powerful wardens as well" Little Xi replied.

"Can they deal with the monster in the seal?" Gu Qing Shan asked.

Little Xi froze.

She suddenly recalled how the giant green arms practically covered the earth before as the sinful creature tried to break free from the ground.

It was a terrifying monster that she could barely seal away at the peak of her power!

Indeed, when the giant green arms took over the surface of the world, no creatures outside of the black market could possibly escape.

Even the powerful wardens of the Abyss of Sin couldn't stop themselves from being devoured by the monster.

"They can't, the most they can do is immediately notify the Divinities, but there are no longer any Divinities here… yet he's still alive and well!" Little Xi wondered in confusion.

Gu Qing Shan sighed and spoke: "That scorpion is no longer his original self…"
"According to my deductions, perhaps the appearance of the figure of light was the final struggle of the wardens from the Abyss of Sin before their deaths"

Little Xi asked: "Why do you think so?"

Gu Qing Shan replied: "Because he appeared exactly where the labyrinth is-------- he was blocking our path into the labyrinth"

Gu Qing Shan slowly continued: "He and his family sat with me on a ship, wanting to do everything to leave this world, but now he appeared to block my way, giving off such clear killing intent. It was obvious that he isn't welcoming me into taking the Divine Armaments away"
"But what kind of creature would want to prevent me from taking the Divine Armaments?"
"The entire world is currently hoping to activate the Divine Armaments, except a single creature who doesn't want that"
"------the sealed creature"
"The creature must've used a method that we don't understand to bypass the figure of light's seal and entered the scorpion's body"

Little Xi couldn't help but shook her head: "You were suspicious that he was no longer the original him with just that?"

Gu Qing Shan replied: "Of course not, I used the process of elimination. I assumed that there could only be one thing that could deal with a powerful wild creature like himself, as well as taking over his body"
"In fact, I only confirmed it after I gave him the bag of coins-------- because we had already decided to split the money inside the bag, but earlier he acted like he didn't know about that at all"
"The real him felt very awkward about taking the money, so he wouldn't have just taken the money without saying a single word like he did just now"

"That monster had already taken over their bodies, it would definitely not allow anyone to take any Divine Armament away, nor let them unleash the new seal"

I didn't expect my poems to get such a high number of views.So thank to everyone who read my book and gave their love.
I started writing this book of poems one year ago but I was scared no one would like them so I did not do anything with them. When My friends told me they loved my poems it gave me confidence. I started writing book on how I felt everyday but then I decided to write poems on how others would feel. So I would put my mindset on how others would feel and the different emotions crossing their minds.
It could be losing a loved one or dealing with the current pandemic. It could be just the weather, holiday or depression.
It was rather easy to write poems on other felt because I would sometimes feel this emotion or see others feeling different emotions everyday so I would sorta study them and write a poem. I would ask a person about their day and write a poem based on the feelings I am getting from their story.
My family would sometimes say that I can take any story and literally make a poem that perfectly fits how they are feeling that day. 

Listening to songs also helped when I am writing my poems. The type of music I listen to affects the way my poems come out as well. If it was a sad song then the poem would come out sad like. If it happy music then it would be a poem based on happy emotions. If it was a poem about young love or unrequited love then that would be what my poem would be about. Everything and everyone around me has influenced how my poems have come to be.

Another way I write my poems as well, is when I watch TV series, k-dramas, c-dramas, j-dramas and movies. These let me get into the characters emotions and I write out their story into a poem.

Just wanted to share some of the poems I was writing. Hope y'all like them.

"W-which one is Groselle?" In the dream, Leonard looked ahead blankly.
There was a huge bonfire there, and there were more than ten grayish-blue-skinned, single-eyed giants who looked no different from each other.
To be honest, I wouldn't be able to recognize him without the ability of a Faceless… To me, without their age, hairstyle, height, scars, clothes, and maturity, giants all look the same… Klein mumbled inwardly as he looked calmly at Miss Justice, as though saying that it shouldn't stump a Spectator.
Audrey raised her hand and pointed at a giant who was gulping down alcohol. From time to time, he would shout twice to express his approval.
"That's Groselle.
"It looks like, in the traditions of the giants, clapping isn't a sign of affirmation and praise. Instead, it's a roar. The louder the roar, the higher the level of praise."
Miss Justice is acting like a folk scholar now… Thankfully, he's only shouting and not singing. If not, the noise would be worse. It's obvious that the giants here aren't adept at modulating their voices. That roar from before didn't have any rhythm to it… Klein nodded and said to Audrey, "Begin guiding him then."
As Audrey went forward as Leonard stepped back. He raised his right hand and stroked his chin.
"Tell me, in the Second Epoch, which supernatural race widely possessed the Beyonder characteristics of the Evernight pathway?"
"Isn't it the demonic wolves?" Klein glanced at Leonard, wondering if the poet had contracted the traditional disease of the Nighthawks—having a bad memory.
"I know." Leonard maintained his original posture as he said with a strange expression, "Then how do they act as a Midnight Poet? Or should I say that the potion's name back then was called Midnight Roarer?"
"There wasn't a potion name in the beginning…" Klein's thoughts were accidentally led astray by Leonard. The scene of such fellows crouching on the ground and howling at the moon surfaced in his mind. He couldn't help but mutter, "This might be more suitable for you. There's no need to write poems, making it very easy."
The corners of Leonard's mouth twitched as he said, "There are different types of poets. I'm a singing type."
As the two idly chatted, Audrey's guidance attempt gradually pushed through. Groselle's dream began showing the Waning Forest, Barren Tunnel, the corner of the Giant King's Court, Dawn Town, and the Nation of Gold.
Groselle wasn't a subordinate of the "deities" like the Giant King, and he was only able to occasionally see these high-level existences while on duty at the Waning Forest or in particular spots of the Giant King's Court and passageway. Furthermore, he didn't dare look at "Them" head-on, receiving them while genuflecting and having his head bowed. Therefore, he wasn't able to present the images of Giant King Aurmir, Giant Queen Omebella, and the eldest son of the Giant King, God of Dawn, Badheil. They only appeared as portraits.
Similarly, Groselle knew very few secrets. His grasp of history and the situation in the world was completely incomparable to Elven Songster Siatas. However, an interesting point was that in the Giant King's Court and the giants, the "traitor" was synonymous with Soniathrym. They claimed that "His" abandoning of the alliance had resulted in the Sanguine Ancestor Lilith's death.
Klein strongly suspected that, because of his bad temper, Soniathrym, was obviously not good at such things.
The Queen of Calamity seems capable, but the problem is what "She" plots is extremely hard to hide from "Her" spouse, a true ancient god, Soniathrym… In contrast, Giant King Aurmir being the traitor makes more sense… Klein did a rough analysis as Audrey changed the direction of Guidance in an attempt to let Groselle present anything he had seen or heard beyond the Giant King's Court.
It was a pity that, shortly after the giant left the King's Court and passed through Dawn Town before arriving in the Nation of Gold, he obtained the book and entered it. He didn't know much about the styles and appearances of people from different regions.
"Currently, the most valuable piece of information is how to avoid the front entrance after entering the Giant King's Court from Afternoon Town. It's through the Waning Forest and the Barren Tunnel." Audrey ended the guidance and walked back to Klein's and Leonard's side. This is very useful for Little Sun and company's subsequent explorations."
"Yes, we can tell him at the next gathering." Klein nodded.
Just as he was about to suggest that they enter the book world's sea of collective subconscious through Groselle's dream, Audrey suddenly looked back and said in thought, 
"There's one detail that's illogical."
"Which detail?" Leonard seriously recalled what he had seen and heard, but he didn't find anything suspicious.
Justice Audrey glanced at The World and said, "In the matter regarding how Giant King Aurmir's father and mother are buried in the Waning Forest, the rule that only the ancient god can enter is illogical."
Klein didn't notice that there was something wrong with that detail. But after Miss Justice mentioned it, he immediately had some ideas. He deliberated and said, "The father and mother of the Giant King are equivalent to the ancestors of the giants. Normally speaking, they should be consecrated by the entire race…"
"That's right. Regardless of the race, they'll have some level of worship towards their ancestor. The giants are no exception. From Groselle's dream, the Keepers often make sacrifices to the ancestors outside the Waning Forest." Audrey nodded in agreement. "If there aren't any other factors of influence, the Giant King should occasionally organize things and make it a point to honor their ancestors instead of making it a rule that only 'He' can enter."
"Perhaps the Waning Forest contains immense danger. Aren't the oldest giants crazy, violent, and irrational? After their death, their corpses have corrupted the environment and affected the entire forest. It's not something that can't be understood." Leonard gave his opinion.
Audrey and Klein shook their heads at the same time, denying the statement.
"If it's only danger or corruption, Giant Queen Omebella and the God of Dawn Badheil can clearly withstand that. With the help of the Giant King, there are almost no problems. Yet 'They' are also forbidden from entering the Waning Forest, even with the ancient god by 'Their' side." Klein simply explained his thoughts and guesses. "Perhaps what's buried inside isn't Giant King Aurmir's parents; there might be some other secret."
"That's more likely the case." Audrey nodded seriously.
She wore a silver mask, and her green eyes darted around slightly, faintly revealing a hint of curiosity.
"If that's the case, what would a secret that can't be known to 'His' wife, child, subsidiary gods, or fellow members of the same race be? That's quite interesting…" Leonard smiled as he allowed his thoughts to wander.
After another round of discussion, the three of them made use of the time to enter the Giant King's Court through the Barren Tunnel and enter the place that was frozen amidst the sunset.
According to Klein's experience, this was actually the path to the borders of Groselle's dream.
This time, there was no need for him to activate Creeping Hunger and use the strength of a Zombie to open the heavy door to the giant guards' quarters. Audrey directly influenced the dream and made the door flutter open like a piece of paper. Due to the Unshadowed Crucifix, Klein was unable to wear the human-skinned glove.
Outside the door was a hazy world. There was no longer the scene of the Giant King's Court ahead of them, but a cliff.
After a brief exchange of the various situations that could occur in the sea of collective subconscious, Audrey made a staircase appear on the edge of the cliff.
The staircase spun around, sinking deep into the dark, hazy, silent, and bottomless mind world.
The three of them didn't delay as they stepped onto the staircase and walked down.
In this lonely environment that could drive one crazy, Audrey used Placate a few times every time they traveled a certain distance.
This wasn't only to Placate Klein, Leonard, and herself, but it was also to Placate the grayish-white cliff—Groselle's subconscious. It was to prevent him from causing a stir that would contaminate their Astral Projection and Body of Heart and Mind.
The countless rotting giant palms that Klein "encountered" the last time didn't appear. Even the most unbearable feelings of loneliness, silence, and being infinite didn't feel that terrifying thanks to being able to speak to each other.
"This is the mind world. The domain of consciousness is indeed different from the others." Leonard looked around as though he wanted to use a few poems to express his feelings, but he eventually chose to give up.
If it were any other mission elsewhere, Klein might've asked his dear poet to remain quiet, but here, he felt that it was good for him to say something—anything.
Audrey didn't reject the exchange as she said seriously, "That's the essence of the environment that we can sense. The cliffs, precipices, and the hazy world are a reflection of our subconscious. If it were another race, it might not be like that…"
"…I now find psychology rather interesting," Leonard said with interest after hearing that.
Klein glanced at him and resisted the urge to say that, with his personality and habits, he really wasn't suited to the Spectator pathway.
In this exchange, the three of them lost track of time until they finally stepped onto the solid but hazy ground.
Looking upwards, they could see the undulating shadows. They overlapped and formed an illusory sea.
Klein, Leonard, and Audrey were about to walk forward when a "water spout" suddenly surged over. A rather blurry figure stood up from within.
It was a grayish-blue giant that was six-to seven-meters tall. His chest was covered with dragon scales, and there were all sorts of indescribable patterns, symbols, and labels that went beyond what one would consider a normal language.
His single vertical eye was filled with blood vessels as it emitted a violent aura that couldn't be concealed. It had obvious hints of destruction in it as it gnawed on a bloody human leg.
This was a demigod-level giant!
He was a projection left in the sea of collective subconscious. Perhaps it was an actual encounter with a human or some other race's ancestor; or perhaps it was something Groselle and the other giants had heard about.
The moment he appeared, the madness spread towards Klein and company like a plague that could infect them.
This was a world that directly came into contact with one's mind and consciousness!
