We always expect something more from others but there is limit of the expectations. And when it crosses the line and become limitless ,soon there is end.

Balam looked over the various species that he could summon and he was both surprised and not. Common snakes already had many different types to them so adding into magical variants, and Balam was greeted by an incredibly large number.

He directly skipped over both the E and D rank species. Even though those would be the ones he would use the most during his early battles, there were simply too many.

Each rank had over 500 different species of snakes in each of them that could be used for battle.

Balam decided to look at the C ranks first since he had a free summon for one and planned to build his early army off of it.

The C ranks were numerous but not as numerous as the previous 2. C rank composed of nearly 100 different snake species that could be divided into 3 categories according to the menu.

The first was fighter snakes. These were snakes who had the most changes physically. They were basically normal snakes but stronger.

The second types were venomous snakes. These were the ones that had much deadlier venom than normal and could even shoot out venomous mists.

The last types were magical. These were creatures that exhibited elemental control or other unique magical effects. Most of these types had special venom related to their element, one elemental ability, and 1 support ability. Their main weakness against the others was their small sizes compared to other snakes.

Balam went straight to the third type. Even though they were usually the smallest, their other abilities made them worth it. He also saw that their cost was about 50 DP higher than snakes of the other two types.

'Hmm. We need something that can take out groups of weaker enemies or at least slow them down so the other snakes I get can take out the enemy creatures. Let's also hope that they are faster or have good lounging. Maybe even a stealth ability.'

After listing out his requirements, he searched through all of the C rank snake types until he found 4 that met his criteria of being worth his free summon.

Fire Dragon Snake (C rank): A snake that has the blood of a fire dragon within it. Although not a true dragon, it has gained a large increase in size as well as toughness of its scales. It has burning-blood venom and can cast the burning armor ability on itself.

Shadow Snake (C rank): A snake that was born from the shadows. It has stealth on a level that can hide from even B rank searching abilities and specializes in ambushes. The venom of the snake is a liquid nerve gas.

Flying Serpent (C rank): These snake type creatures are born with feathered wings and can fly through the air. They are the fastest snakes below B rank because of their flight. These snakes' venom has strong paralysis effects.

Sweet Dreamer (C rank): Instead of the normal venom, this creature releases miasma from its body that causes any non-snake type who inhales it to be in a dream-like state.  Very small and takes some time for the miasma to spread due to this.

'These 4 suit my tastes and needs the most. The fire dragon snake seems more like a controller and a tank. That would be useful for distracting enemies and ensuring their survival.

Shadow snake is best for taking down enemies on its own but I think it will lack when there is more than one enemy. Depending on the location for the wave attack, this may end up pretty bad.

Flying serpents seem like truly the best for me. They can kite enemies from a distance. In most games, lower-ranked and beginner enemies lack long-range attacks or at least powerful ones. This could get me through quite a few waves.

Sweet Dreamer is also great. By trapping enemies in illusions, it would allow me to use my other snakes the best. The only issue is the randomness of the instant dungeons for the wave assaults.

I have 500 DP as well. So I can afford to buy one more of these guys. So let's get a Flyer and a Sweet Dreamer. We can purchase a bunch of lower ranks for anything else that we need to be done.'

Balam decided to spend the token on the Flying Serpent and spent 150 DP for the Sweet Dreamer which brought his total DP down to 350. Soon a pair of snakes appeared out of nowhere in his dungeon.

One had sky blue scales on most of its body except for the belly which was white. It had a pair of white, feathery wings on the sides of its body. The snake was about a meter long. Its scales looked both hard and soft which gave Balam the urge to touch it. Sadly, he had no hands.

The other snake was almost half the size of the Sky Serpent. It had scales that were shades of purple and black all over its body. As if slithered across the ground, it let out a pink miasma that was slowly filling up the room but it would take hours or even days to truly fill the room.

'These two aren't too bad. Let's see what [Status Scan] can do.'

He focused the skill on each of the snakes before a small window appeared over each of them.

'So the skill only tells me about abilities, ranks, names, and attributes. As for anything special they can that is just a part of their biology, it goes not tell me. Might be because the skill is only A rank. I will have to see how I can improve that.

Let's focus on the other snakes now. I have 350 DP to spend. And since I will not be getting attacked in here anytime soon, no need to worry about defenses. So what can 350 DP get me?'

Lu Zhiyu drove alone to Shennongjia, Muyu Town. Although this was not the peak season for traveling, the town was bustling with people from all walks of life. There were people distributing leaflets, as well as shops holding various events to attract customers. There were many performances at night as well.
After enjoying himself, Lu Zhiyu settled into a hotel. He went up to the mountains the following day. He had chosen a less traveled path, so that he could select different kinds of plants, animals, and materials for Maria's World. This would complete the selection of animal and plant species in Maria's World as well as its ecosystem.
Lu Zhiyu had tried to put a mouse into Maria's World, into one of its five different continents. By this time, the seeds of the plants that he had sowed had spread across the entire world.
The air seemed to be much fresher than what Lu Zhiyu had imagined, and the mouse lived comfortably. There were even types of algae that Lu Zhiyu had never seen before growing in the sea. These plants had all grown naturally on their own.
Lu Zhiyu had introduced large amounts of different species of fish, as well as stray dogs and cats into Maria's World. There was already a small group being formed. However, the cats and dogs had turned feral. The fish had proliferated in the ocean. As Lu Zhiyu had sealed up the Zero-dimensional channel, the creatures did not share the same conditions as the insects, so they evolved under normal conditions.
Lu Zhiyu had been a little obsessed with Maria's World recently. He had manically purchased seeds of different plants. He would also take with him species of bugs, birds or animals he had never seen before in order to enrich the diversity of living things in Maria's World. Lu Zhiyu left it for nature to decide if they would survive or not. It was survival of the fittest.
Lu Zhiyu did not wish to allow every race in Maria's World to share the zero-dimension channel or freely pass through the authority he had over that space to extract the energy within the zero-dimension space. At the very least, he wanted to prevent the creatures from drawing on that energy without him allowing it.
His intention was to release control of the Zero-dimensional channel gradually in the future via his own methods. He did not want a repeat of how the insects freely used the energy for their own developments.
Shennongjia was a world cultural heritage site. When they first applied for the title, its success hinged upon having a lot of natural resources, such as animals and plants. To Lu Zhiyu, this was a massive treasure trove.
There were 11 types of vegetation distributed around Shennongjia. It was one of the three largest distribution centers for seed-bearing plants in China. Empirical research had confirmed that there were at least 3,767 vascular plant species in Shennongjia, 590 temperate plant genres, 205 local species, two unique genus, and 1793 species unique to China.
Many rare animal species had also been preserved in the ecosystem. In fact, it had been recorded that there were more than 600 vertebrate animal species, including 92 types of mammals, 399 bird species, 55 types of fish, 53 types of reptiles and 37 types of amphibians!
Its mountainous terrain had even become the habitat of some endangered species. It had been recorded that there were more than 1,300 golden snub-nosed monkeys, leopards, white cranes, white snakes, great bustards, giant salamanders, and more found in this place. In total, there are 67 types of wild animals that were under the protection of the country.
This place was also a haven to different types of insects. Currently, 4,365 species had been found.
As Lu Zhiyu moved along, he collected the resources that he needed with the help of his mind power and strong physique. He had collected grasshoppers, different types of snakes, monkeys and Asiatic black bears. He had no idea if it was legal or not, or if what he was doing was immoral, but since no one was watching, he couldn't care less.
It was nice to be able to move around freely and fearlessly in the forest, especially when one had a strong physique. Walking freely in the forest like that had never crossed Lu Zhiyu's mind. He would not be able to do so under his previous poor health condition. Moreover, without his mind power to anticipate danger, his constantly uptight nerves would have made him very fatigued. After all, Shennongjia was not a safe place and was filled with danger. 
Without the help of his mind power to explore the area, Lu Zhiyu would not have been able to find the animals and plants species that he needed so quickly. He had also found a few old ginseng gatherings, as well as some rare herbs, which he carefully tucked away.
Along the way, Lu Zhiyu continued to migrate the various uprooted plants. He also found traces of wild animal species as he continued on the journey. He followed the trails, found them, then put them into Maria's World.
After Lu Zhiyu dug up the nest of moles and tossed them into Maria's world, he saw the footprints of a bear on a path nearby. Some of its fur had fallen to the ground and Lu Zhiyu was surprised to see that it was white in color.
Hey, what have we found here? An adult albino bear that has lost its way. Let's try to catch it!

Lu Zhiyu laughed out loud as he was thinking to himself. These past few days, he had caught many animals from Shennongjia.
He had run after these ferocious animals, like tigers, leopards, and bobcats, with the Scroll of the World in his hands. He did not even spare the monkeys. Even a bear would pose no threat to him, so Lu Zhiyu was in high spirits!
Lu Zhiyu used his mind power to explore the footprints and collect information about the bear. According to his estimates, the bear most likely had been here half a day ago and should still be around here somewhere. Indeed, after tracking it for some time, Lu Zhiyu finally found the albino bear in an uphill area of the forest.
An albino bear was a rare albino species of the Asiatic black bear. There were less than 10 existing in the whole world. It was very different from the polar bear. Its fur was not as white, in fact, it was highlighted with a little brown.
As Lu Zhiyu watched the albino bear, he realized that it seemed to be pregnant. It was probably grumpy at the moment.
It would be easily agitated should Lu Zhiyu approach it. The ears of the bear were standing upright, attached to its rather big head, its tail was hiding between its butt, making it look quite cute. However, when it turned around, its ferocious expression and sharp teeth showed that it was not to be messed with.
But Lu Zhiyu was no ordinary man. He dashed out toward the albino bear with his Scroll of the World. The bear was shocked at first, then became enraged.
It stood up and roared furiously at Lu Zhiyu. The sound of its roar filled the entire forest, alarming the birds and animals. Leaves even fell down onto the ground.
Lu Zhiyu did not hold back. He aimed the Scroll of the World at the albino bear and absorbed it inside the scroll. He threw the albino bear near the Asiatic black bears that he had captured earlier.
After all, Lu Zhiyu could not miss this opportunity to capture a pregnant bear! It was like a "buy one, get one free" type of thing!


By accident, Lu Zhiyu found the entrance to a low-dimensional world, and thus began a totally different journey!

Free to control everything in the low-dimensional game, Lu Zhiyu felt like a gamemaster, and even God.


After You XiaoMo was sent by Ling Xiao into the dimension, he didn't complain. He was still at least a little self-aware that staying there would only hinder Ling Xiao, but when he thought of You ZhenTian's strength, he couldn't help but worry.

He paced around the dimension. He could only hope that Ling Xiao could hang on until the transportation array activated. However, when You XiaoMo remembered that he would be of no use to anyone worrying here anyway, he entered his own dimension instead.

When Fu ZiLin saw him appear, he thought he was seeing things at first. "Little-shidi, are you okay?" He was just stewing over how to explain things to ChenLe when You XiaoMo suddenly reappeared.

You XiaoMo scratched his head awkwardly. "Um, he showed up…"

Fu ZiLin instantly knew who 'he' was. Besides Ling Xiao, it could be nobody else, or else he most likely wouldn't have appeared safe and sound in the dimension. The only thing was, it seemed like Ling Xiao's strength couldn't compare with You ZhenTian's…

Of course You XiaoMo knew that, but Ling Xiao was so smart, so he shouldn't be in any danger.

What he didn't know was that, although Ling Xiao indeed wouldn't let himself be in any danger, he was also someone who would seek revenge just for an angry look. Since he got hurt last time, he would demand repayment and interest back for it from You ZhenTian's body this time.

From You ZhenTian's perspective, the place where Ling Xiao was standing was already swallowed up by the black snake.

The Psychic Black Turtle's defense was number one on TongTian Continent. As one's cultivation base increased, their ability to defend would naturally grow stronger and stronger as well. With Ling Xiao's current cultivation base, even though he couldn't maintain it for very long, it was enough for him to steal a bit of time.

You ZhenTian couldn't see any of this, or else he would definitely be very surprised that Ling Xiao could use the Psychic Black Turtle's absolute defense. If that came to be, the truth about the four bloodlines in Ling Xiao's body would very likely be exposed, which wouldn't be good for him at all, since there was an ancient legend concerning the Four Ancient Beast Clans' bloodline.

Tens upon thousands of illusory black snakes attacked the absolute defense madly, as if they didn't care about living anymore. Each one seemed like it had gone insane.

Ling Xiao sucked in a deep breath. During the past few months he was secluded, he wasn't just nursing his wounds; if he had just been nursing his wounds, he wouldn't have been shut away for two to three months. He could've recovered within five to six days. The only reason it took so long was because he testing the strength of combining all four bloodlines.

Last time, he had only managed to hurt You ZhenTian because he forcefully combined them all. However, because of that, he had received an internal injury himself. This time, he didn't plan on making the same mistake.

So while he was secluded, he had tested endlessly how to balance the four different bloodlines. Afterwards, his experiments succeeded, but he could only maintain it for a very short amount of time. The reason it had succeeded last time was most likely because of luck.

There was no way four different forces that repelled each other could be balanced forever, unless a special trick was used. But sooner or later, there would be a day that kind of trick would collapse, so after that, he started to test how to extend the duration that the four different bloodlines balanced. He experimented for another month on this, and if You XiaoMo had gone back, he would've seen that the Immortal's Cave was already destroyed by Ling Xiao.

Four different colors, representing the four different forces, swirled in Ling Xiao's hand. They didn't disturb each other, and they were slowly condensed between his palms until it shrank into the size of a fist, as if there was a force sucking them in. They didn't scatter like before anymore.

At the same time, under the black snakes' attack, a crack finally appeared in the transparent wall. The cracks spread swiftly, and when it couldn't endure it any longer, the wall immediately split apart as the transparent glass crystals fell like snowflakes.

Without a barrier in their way, the black snakes instantly hissed and threw themselves at Ling Xiao. In a moment of life or death, blazing flames erupted with a bang under Ling Xiao's feet, and the purple flames rushed towards the black snakes that were roiling in the thick fog.

Sunfire had always been the nemesis of evil spirits. Even though You ZhenTian was the Vermillion Blood Clan's head and seemed to be honorable and righteous on the surface, some of the techniques that he cultivated were fairly similar to what the Eagle Guild had done back then. He had to draw support from some evil spirits in order to complete it, so in the end, he had still touched some evil energy.

When two types of Godfire combined together, their power increased tenfold. After that thick fog had persisted for half an hour, it started to slowly retreat, and the thousands of black snakes screeched shrilly. They were so burnt by the fire that they couldn't even maintain their shape anymore, and in the end, they transformed into black smoke and disappeared without a trace.

When You ZhenTian saw this scene, his eyes grew cold. He had long heard that Ling Xiao had two types of Godfire. Godfire clearly repelled each other, but Ling Xiao could somehow combine them together; this was something unheard of. At first, he didn't believe it, but now he had no choice but to believe it.

"There are indeed two types, but if you think you can just depend on these two kinds of Godfire to…" You ZhenTian's gaze was contemptuous, but he suddenly halted halfway through his sentence, as if he had been forcibly choked by something. He stared rigidly at the ball of light in Ling Xiao's hand, his expression extremely dark.

The enormous scythe in You ZhenTian's hand immediately erupted with an intense black glow before it started to buzz and shake, as if it were very anxious. All the spiritual energy nearby started to be violently sucked over by it.

"The scythe's third technique — stealing the soul!"

You ZhenTian shouted loudly, and the scythe in his hand sliced downwards forcefully. Immediately, a terrifying black aura of death burst out, and it was as if night had fallen as it sliced the sky apart into two halves.

After a short while, the enormous black curtain collided with the ball of light, which was brimming with destructive power. The two forces attacked each other madly, and the ground quickly cracked apart, as a hurricane-like wind swept through the nearby plants and rocks. Everything within a thousand meters was completely destroyed in an instant, and the air changed shape with the pressure as crevices appeared one after another, the spacial energy tyrannical.

Ling Xiao narrowed his eyes before a bottle of spiritual water suddenly appeared in his right hand. He flicked off the cap of the bottle and drank it all where You ZhenTian couldn't see him. The spiritual energy in his body swiftly recovered, and two different types of flames appeared in his palm in a split second.

The flames melded very nicely together.

This time, he didn't plan on creating the ball of light. He still couldn't control that kind of extremely destructive ball of light very easily, and the two flames were what he was the most skilled at. He compressed the multicolored ball of fire very tightly until it couldn't be any compressed any smaller.

Just when the two forces were beginning to disappear, Ling Xiao quickly sent out the ball of fire. The tiny fireball collided with the ball of light, and it melted into it as if it had touched water.

This was the move that Ling Xiao had wanted to pull off.

Because he knew that it would be hard to inflict serious damage on You ZhenTian, who was already on guard, depending solely on the four-colored ball of light, unless he could completely and perfectly combine the four different bloodlines, increasing the true strength of the four-colored ball of light. But right now, that was impossible, so that's why he thought of this strategy.

Add in two energies anew, temporarily disrupting the balance of the four-colored ball of light. Violent waves swept outwards in all directions, and the black curtain retreated bit by bit under the pressure.

As You ZhenTian watched in shock, the ball of light twisted fiercely before shooting straight towards him. After a moment, a deafening noise exploded like a clap of thunder. The rocks crumbled and collapsed, and the world changed colors…

All the people nearby looked in the direction that the sound had come from. Some of the closer ones felt as if there was a rumbling sensation in their ears, before they saw a gigantic pillar of light shoot towards the sky. If somebody said that the people who were fighting and could generate such formidable destructive power weren't Sacred Realm experts, most likely nobody would believe them.

The experts from every powerhouse wanted to rush over and take a look. Nobody was slower than each other, but by the time they made it over, they all sucked in a breath of air. Everything within several thousand meters had been razed to the ground, leaving behind a huge hole so deep that they couldn't see the bottom. However, this wasn't what made them the most shocked. Above the hole, they saw someone standing, covered in blood, his expression already warped. They saw him raise both his hands before he roared furiously at the sky, "Ling Xiao, I definitely won't let you get away with this!"

After an explosion, You XiaoMo finds that he is now a probationary disciple of the TianXin Sect. However, he is one with dubious potential, so just when he starts to adapt to his new circumstances, he receives bad news. If he is unable to produce the required result after half a year to become an official disciple of the TianXin Sect, he will be driven out of the sect.

While You XiaoMo is going all out to make medicine and earn money, he runs into Ling Xiao. To his horror, he later discovers that Ling Xiao is really someone cloaked in human skin.

Deep inside a lush forest where green stretched wide, lay a snake hatchling asleep,the unnatural thing about it was that there was no 'evidence' of its birth, no egg or mother snake nearby.

The hatchling snake that was sleeping soundlessly opened its small slit eyes, showing it's golden iris and round pupils. 

"Zayne who was sleeping got awoken by this abrupt energy surging with-in him, although he couldn't see that particular 'energy', he could feel an extremely pleasant feeling flushing through him,  the exact feeling that awoke him.

Closing his slit eyes to revel in this feeling, and it was after a long time that he opened his eyes and immediately, his eyes shone with vitality and a strange sense of pride that faded as quick as it came, replaced with panic and fear.

Looking around him in confirmations Zayne 'yelled', or tried to "Where in the world am!??".

That's when it hit him! 

"Don't those trees look awfully huge?! " bloody hell? Please don't tell me that i grew extremely short!!' Noooo~ what am i going to do with my        life!?
I'll never be able to talk to the opposite sex again and how will i even take care of my 'babies' ",sulked Zayne as he wobbled left to right.  

After a continued time of sulking, Zayne realized that he didn't shrunk at all,hell! he wasn't even a human anymore!

As he held on that thought, memories started to surface. His memories when he was 'human' and the incident of his dead.

The memories of his childhood,family,school,friends, work and most importantly, his pet snakes.
As there were people who were obsessed with snakes and other insects, he was more into the elegant fierce snakes. He in-fact collected more than 1,432 different type of snakes and 80 different poisonous types. 
 He dreamed of collecting all the 3,625 known species including 380 poisonous type. But his blazing passion was extinguished by a huge house fire, taking the lives of all his 1,512 snakes including himself. AAAAH!!!!!!! What a tragedy!!! MY PRECIOUS!! *COUGH* *COUGH ~

Thinking about his precious pet snakes, the only thing he felt for that moment was sorrow.
if he could shed tears at that moment he would,but this little body didnt follow his orders completely or it could be that he hasn't adjusted to it. After a while, Zayne calmed himself down and breathed in a long stream of air *Shhh*  then breathed out *Huss*.

Collecting his thoughts, Zayne thought " This is extremely weird, didnt i die in that cursed house fire? 
if so, why am i still alive?! Could it be that god showed mercy upon this poor soul of mine? 
The only mystery left is, why the hell im reincarnated into a s- WAAAAIT?!! I AM A SNAKE!!!!! 
YEEEEES!!! I CANT BELIEVE THAT MY WISH WAS FULFILET AFTER SOO MANY YEARS!" Roared Zayne in his mind. Zayne was soo obsessed with snakes that he wished to become one if possible

After a hour of pure joy, Zayne calmed down again" oooh god im sooo thankful! Still cant believe im a snake now, i wonder which type of snake i belong to.

looking down with his small slit eyes, Zayne saw his  black tail and pondered for a while before thinking," am i a black-tailed-rat snake? no, this colour has a darker shade of black. " turning his small head left, he could barely spot a black hood." 

" This.. perplexed Zayne mumbled, am i a cobra... or a king cobra? But that doesnt make sense...Dont tell me im an undiscovered species!! Joy emerged on Zayne's face again. "

 AS he was reveling on his 'discovery' a powerful hunger surged him " This hunger aah- grunted Zayne,  food.....I need food! mused Zayne in his mind as bits of saliva feel of his little black snake tongue. " i need to look for eatables and quick! thought Zayne as he slithered deep into the lush forest.

Climbing on a relatively near by tree, Zayne discovered his first food, it was a bird nest with 4 small grey coloured eggs, with pain and hunger taking over his logic Zayne leaped on those eggs and easily swallowed one, soon, swallowing all the four eggs. Altough swallowing eggs wasn't what human were used to, Zayne didn't feel anything weird about this process and in-fact it  felt natural.. 

After eating this meal, Zayne felt his hunger ease quite a bit," i should move from this place fast before the parents come back, but before he could move out, Zayne felt some weird feeling through him. "huuh? what was that feeling?" Zayne felt more refreshed after that feeling calmed down.
"That was weird,were those eggs special?and how am i able to digest 4 eggs instantly!? Zayne decided to inspect this body of his more throughly when he settled into a safe place," I should hurry up before the parents of those eggs  come back."

Slithering down the tree, Zayne searched for a place to settle and investigate this place.

Moving far away from the place he ate his fill, Zayne discovered  a small opening under a large tree, going inside the gap he saw a white rabbit With a horn protruding from the center of his brows. 

"Bloody F***  these creatures exists?!"Seeing the rabbit, Zayne wasn't sure if he was on earth anymore

"Should i attack it? hmmm, it looks quite dangerous but i also need to confirm something and im not sure that will find any weaker creatures than rabbit types."

Detecting an intruder, the rabbit creature jumped up and observed its intruder with his small green eyes.

Noticing that the rabbit creature discovered him, and its alert eyes, Zayne decided to attack it. Slithering towards the snake with a rapid movement, Zayne lunged at it and went for the kill.

Seeing it foe speeding towards him, the rabbit creature side dashed with a surprisingly fast speed and rammed its horn on forwards.

Surprised by its speed, Zayne ducked down and opened his mouth wide open,showing his sharp canes,Zayne bit onwards before the rabbit creature could escape.

*Screeeeeh!!*

Having bitten the rabbit creature, Zayne injected poison with a thought and quickly wrapped his body around the rabbit creature. But he quickly realised that it was unnecessary as the rabbit creature stopped struggling immediately after he injected his poison .

looking at the rabbit creature to be sure, Zayne noticed although the rabbit creature stopped struggling it was still alive! "Hehe, my poison is sure effective."

"looks like i have poison that makes my prey unable to move and a strong one for certain , i will examine my body throughly later but now, i will try to prob something.

Zayne opened his mouth wide open and managed to swallow the rabbit creature albeit with difficulties.

Having finally swallowed the rabbit creature, Zayne started counting. " 1,2,3,4,5.." when it hit 5 seconds, Zayne felt the same energy that he felt when he ate those 4 eggs  going through his body but much stronger than before 

" its that energy again! does it only appear when i eat my prey? And it seems that the stronger my prey is the bigger the energy i receive is."

Suddenly without any warnings, a strong drowsiness hit him! "Ahhh~ why do i feel the need to sleep!? just a moment ago i was full of energy!."

As Zayne was stunned with the unexpected twist, he felt that he was losing conscience and made the decision to go deeper in the hole."

Slithering his way deeper, Zayne arrived at the end of the hole quickly and positioned himself so that his head was covered by his body. Not able to stay awake any longer, Zayne quickly slumped into sleep.

This is an original novel about an interesting little snake....(Well not completely a snake) who woke up in a forest full of dangerous beasts.

The old man started after pausing a bit.
"As you might not know but there is a hidden world. Hidden in a sense that normal people don't come across it not have access to it and even if they does by some misfortune it's not long before they perish as they can't handle the difference between strength, there are still exceptional cases who finds this world by mistake but are still able to keep up and sometimes even becomes a legendary existence among us. This hidden world is known as many names while the most common being the 'Abyss'."
The old man waited to let the information sink in the young mind as he continues again.
"There are different means of power here. Everyone with an ability is unique and those who don't come across the fate of becoming an awaken shows there power in numbers as some don't need numbers as they alone are able to take the whole world on. They are usually the ones who are awaken like you but it's extremely rare but every awaken have a story of having monstrous talent which led me to think that one day u might break those shackles which is why we are having this conversation right now."
"The ones who choose the powers in numbers join a sect or make one themselves if they hold the power of being a leader, while there are many different types of sects all over the world. The three most influence sects are Black Dragon, Blue Snakes and Green snakes respectably. Like I said the green snakes holds the position of the third most influential sect in the world of abyss while my brother, Asim holds the leadership of blue snakes. We crossed paths as we both had different opinions. The black dragon sect is the most influential sect out there, not just that even if we both brothers join our powers we still won't be able to compete nor compare to the black dragon sect as they holds the true bloodline of dragons. Only one individual can compare to their power and we are not supposed to even think about his so telling you the name would be harmful to you than to me."
Shaheer was surprised that there was an individual that can overcome the power of the whole sect of someone who two top rank sects can't compete. He was greatly interested in that individual and wanted to know more about him but he knew that he was stepping into a new world with its own rules and so he kept the interest to himself but little did he know that this individual have kept an eye on him ever since he got this unknown ability.
The old man continues again after taking a small sip from the tea that the table just produced out of nowhere.
Though at first we were at the fourth place while the Red dragon sect holds the first position but there was war between Red and Black Dragon sects and to the surprise of everyone Black dragon had won it."
The old man was a little hesitant to move forward and Shaheer saw the hesitation.
"That leads us to the last descendant of the red dragon."
Shaheer calmly puts a line in as to push the old man forward with his explaining.
"Yes, although I can't tell you how and why the Red Dragon sect trusted us for the upbringing of their last descendant but I can tell you that they said not to reveal him that he is one of us and so he does not know the blood he posses and I would appreciate if you don't tell him about that either. At least until it's the right time."
Shaheer somewhat understood why he can't tell him everything and he have already given him many hints along the way and now it was his turn to tell him about his apparent rare ability.

'Let's wrap up elementalism around here and... should I switch main weapons now?'
Until now, Sanghyuk hadn't set on a main weapon. In his previous life, he used the sword as the main weapon, but he was planning to change it in this life.
Actually, swords had good performance and were easy to use as well. And above all, they were the most common.

Of course, wire weapons were extremely difficult to use. Even users with high VRA and good in-game knowledge could just swing it around without hurting themselves at best. This was why wire-type weapons were mostly used as the 4th or 5th main weapon.
In EL, there was a system called the 'Main Weapon Bonus', so the type of weapon that was set as the main weapon could receive 15% increase in damage.
Second main weapons received 7%, third 5%, and finally, 4th and 5th main weapons, well, more like support weapons, received 2% increase.
There were no boosts at all from the 6th.
For this reason, many users set their main weapons until the fifth.
This weapon bonus may seem like nothing, but the difference was quite big according to order. The main weapon that filled the first place of that list had to be a weapon that the user used very frequently.
Users had to be very cautious in setting a main weapon. This was because an insane amount of karma was needed to switch out main weapons afterward. It was an unimaginable amount of karma at low levels, and a hefty sum even at high levels, so it wasn't a price that many were prepared to take.
The disappearance of karma meant level down. Although not much as the first main weapon, it required karma to switch 2nd to 5th main weapons as well, so the majority of the users did not switch their main weapons once set.

Thanks to that, the Ten Millennia Goldbone Whip was both very thin and very soft. And depending on the use, the fragments would turn very sharp as well.

Snake Caves harbored snakes of many different types and sizes, and people with ophidiophobia (fear of snakes) would hate this place to their guts.
Fortunately, Sanghyuk had no particular rejection towards snakes, so he didn't fear to tread inside the Snake Caves.

When Sanghyuk swung his Ten Millennia Goldbone Whip, the 10 snakes in front of him were sliced to pieces as though they just went through a shredder. Snake-men were a race that would frequently appear later in the game as well. The Snake Caves he just entered would harbor just snake-man soldiers, snake-man archers, and snake-man warriors, but once the 'Snake Tower', which could be called the kingdom of snake-men, appeared later in the game, users would meet many different types of snake-men.
The hundreds of snakes at the entrance were merely pets(?) of the snake-men.
Sanghyuk shredded the onslaught of snakes with his whip while waiting for the snake-men to come out. A Floating Lumistone which he had bought in a miscellaneous store before he came to the Snake Caves, was floating next to him, so his surroundings were very bright.
Floating Limestones, once set, just floated around the user and emitted light. It was naturally a must-have item in dark caves like this place.
Sanghyuk kept proceeding forward. The Snake Caves were very maze-like, and he may wander around on the same spot if he was lost, but Sanghyuk proceeded forward as though he had the map of the Snake Caves in his head.
Of course, nothing like that existed in Sanghyuk's mind. Even though Sanghyuk had returned to the past, remembering every single event was impossible. Instead, Sanghyuk had his numerous experiences. The general pattern unique to such types of dungeons... Sanghyuk knew that pattern well enough so that he could find his way without getting lost in this maze-like caves.
After some time passed, Sanghyuk finally met a snake-man. The snake-man soldier was several heads taller than Sanghyuk. It charged towards Sanghyuk with a single crude spear.
*Hiss, hiss!*
When the excited snake-man pierced with its spear, Sanghyuk lightly swung his whip and wrapped it around the spear.
*Whistle, clang*
The Ten Millennia Goldbone Whip spun the spear into a spiral, and as a result, the snake-man's spear flew into the air.
Although this may be a surprising result for the snake-man, it was an obvious outcome for Sanghyuk.
At the same time he flicked away the spear, Sanghyuk made the whip stand in a straight line and extended his arm forward as though he was stabbing with a sword.
*Stab, crrrunch!*
At that moment, the Ten Millennia Goldbone, which stood stiffly like a sword, pierced the snake-man's head.
'Good!'
Sanghyuk nodded his head when the Ten Millennia Goldbone Whip moved perfectly according to how he wished for it to.
The Ten Millennia Goldbone Whip... this weapon indeed had tremendous potential.

After some time passed, Sanghyuk finally met a snake-man. The snake-man soldier was several heads taller than Sanghyuk. It charged towards Sanghyuk with a single crude spear.
*Hiss, hiss!*
When the excited snake-man pierced with its spear, Sanghyuk lightly swung his whip and wrapped it around the spear.
*Whistle, clang*
The Ten Millennia Goldbone Whip spun the spear into a spiral, and as a result, the snake-man's spear flew into the air.
Although this may be a surprising result for the snake-man, it was an obvious outcome for Sanghyuk.
At the same time he flicked away the spear, Sanghyuk made the whip stand in a straight line and extended his arm forward as though he was stabbing with a sword.
*Stab, crrrunch!*
At that moment, the Ten Millennia Goldbone, which stood stiffly like a sword, pierced the snake-man's head.
'Good!'
Sanghyuk nodded his head when the Ten Millennia Goldbone Whip moved perfectly according to how he wished for it to.
The Ten Millennia Goldbone Whip... this weapon indeed had tremendous potential.

That was what she was trying to understand.

Forests were the quite dangerous places, if the forest was large enough, who knew how many predators would be lurking in the darkness and under the cover of trees. 

Though it is like an endless maze, where one could lose an attacker, it was also a place where one was likely to get lost. If a person had no wilderness survival skills, it would only be a matter of time before they starved to death, or got eaten by a wild animal.

There were too many possibilities to go over.

Let's not mention, the number of poisonous plants and berries that could be found in the forest. If a person had mistaken a poisonous herb for an edible one, then it would only spell a disaster.

Xue'er felt that if an assassin manages to get someone that has zero wilderness survival skills whatsoever to run into the woods and lose their way, they wouldn't even need to lift a pinky and allow the rule of survival of the fittest to take over.

Of course, one could never underestimate a person's willpower to live.

Xue'er thought as she soared in the air with her lightness skills. There was a cool breeze that passed through her veil, allowing her head to feel refreshed.

Of course, Xue'er didn't believe this for a moment that he would make a veiled bamboo hat for no reason.

[There must be something.]

Before she knew it, she had arrived at the most poisonous and forbidden part of the forest.

The area of that place was quite small, perhaps no larger than a small city, but it was said to be shrouded in miasma all year round that birds dared not fly in and animals dare not take a step further. Inside, the place is filled with hundreds of different types of snakes and insects.

Such places were said to be a poison lover's paradise, but a nightmare to those who have chosen the path of healing...

As there was no known cure.

[I guess I'll see if the rumors live up to reality.]

She entered the thick miasma. It seemed as if her body had been swallowed up by the large ground clouds, that resembled fog, but its color was a gray that was very close to black.

The miasma easily penetrated the veil and floated around her body. But it did absolutely nothing to her, aside from covering her in a fog that had a putrid smell.

Needless to say, she was disappointed.

The miasma was somewhat close to the forest that was on the outskirts of the forbidden ground that she had lived in. Although her body did not have much of a reaction to it, she knew that it was far more potent.

[Maybe it did live up to its name after all.]

She walked deeper into the poisonous forest, the miasma cleared up, but what she saw was a hundred if not a thousand times better than the miasma she knew of, or more deadly so to say.

There were different types of trees, with different colors flowers growing on it, if one looked closer, or searched, they would be able to find some snakes, spiders, scorpions, worms, or even insects crawling along the trees.

[Yes! The rumors were true, this really is a poison lover's paradise.]

At this point, Xue'er almost loudly shouted to the world, wanting to tell them what she had found, but she narrowly stopped herself, after all, she did not want random people to break into this poisonous part of the forest and then end up with a fate worse than death.

Even though she doesn't know how a normal person's body would react to these toxins, there was a time when she tried her concoctions on corpses with her grandfather, the result was quite unsettling. 

If it was already like this on dead flesh, then what about the flesh of the living?

What about her? What did she count as?

At this point, it could be said that she does not know much about her own body.

But, there was still plenty of time for her to get to know herself better. If she didn't know about herself well, then, how could she even know other people?

Gan Tian Chi had always been wise, she was always admiring his wisdom. Without much thought, she had already begun to see him as a teacher.

Her pale and dainty fingers ran along the many poisonous plants that were growing along the vines of the trees. Soon, she felt a slight tingling sensation in her fingers.

It seems, there was an effect on her, though it was not much, it was still present. 

She looked closely at each plant that she had run her fingers over and found that there was a variation of a plant that caused this type of feeling on the skin.

Seeing that she could get a reaction out of her body, Xue'er got excited and took some leaves from five of the plants growing in the perimeter.

These were different types of plants, all holding different toxins. Although separately they were somewhat manageable to cure, when put together, even the best doctors would have a difficult time, this was because one of antidotes when mixed together with one of the poisons would create an even deadlier toxin.

Xue'er hand crushed these leaves into powder form using her internal strength and mixed all five powders together in a porcelain vile. When mixed together, it turned into a light grayish whitish color, but it was still in powder form.

For its reaction, Xue'er would first try it on herself, she pulled up her sleeves and lightly sprinkled the powder onto her pale arm. Of course, this may be risky as she does not yet know the effects of the powder.

Then, there were red splotches that appeared on her arm, it was like a rash that had been irritated over and over again. Then there was a slight pain in the place where she applied the power. 

Unfortunately, as soon as she got excited, the rash vanished and the pain was gone, as quickly as it had come, leaving Xue'er in a haze of disappointment. 

She looked at her pale arm again, the skin was smooth that if someone said there was once a rash that broke out there, no one would believe it.

[So there is no effect after all.]
