But hey! life for an orphan like me who got God is pretty hard but awesome. I survive and breath everyday. Untill that night.  I was on my way home when I was hit with a truck and bang! Dead on arrival, but then why did I wake up? A world in the ancient times where the people are wearing ancient clothing? And why am I alive and kicking!?!

Su Min a young teenager died early in his last life but was shockingly reborn in another world. Terra a world of beastmen! While there are many beastkin imagine his disappointment when he learns that his species, the hamster species are the weakest race in the world! They even forgot how to transform after the war of Doom! In this world where the weak rule they only survived due to a stroke of luck!

After some shock Su Min gathered his courage.
Big Brother Ben decided to educate his strange little brother who was 4 months younger than him.

“ What are you saying?Laozi will not die in three years! F* that! Do you know how difficult it is to have a healthy body !”

Su Min saved all the pups from danger and helped them survive winter and the dry months.

The hamsters gathered to laugh at the strange young hamster who always had weird ideas.
“ Laugh. Laugh at you want now ! One day you will bow and call Laozi King!”
 Su Min taught them to fight ,cultivate and transform into beastmen form. He awakened hidden blood lines and powers.

The beastmen mocked him in the arena and he half- squeaked , half- roared.

“ SO WHAT IF LAOZI IS A HAMSTER! DON’T YOU BELIEVE THIS HAMSTER WILL BITE YOU TO DEATH!”

In the end there’s just one thing to say- dynamite comes in small packages.

Su Min slowly but surely became a winner in life becoming a great and powerful king who controlled life and death in his hands. He began to build a utopia and set off to find a beautiful hamster wife.

Umm... No? He brought back a powerful and domineering male tiger who spoilt and petted him the whole day!

 Kipo and Sarah were heading to the snake village and finish their mission to help the hamsters village.
Kipo : so I have asked you this question before.....but I want to see if the answer have changed....what's the plan ?
Sarah : I didn't change the plan yet.....first...we need to do some scouting....but this time I will do it alone....
Kipo : yeah yeah....I know.
After a while of walking they found the snake village, every snake was asleep, because it was daytime, but that does not mean that they can't wake up.
Sarah has already climbed the same tree Kipo fell off of. 
Kipo : I don't like this tree.
Sarah : I don't think the tree was the problem fatty...
Kipo : I'm not fat.....right ?
Kipo then checked her belly but it was flat.
Kipo in her mind : meh....I'm not fat.
Sarah started looking for any snake that might be awake, but she saw no one, she climbed down the tree and started to look with Kipo in the houses of the village through the windows, they saw many snakes, different sizes and heights, when Sarah saw them she realized that they can't win a fight against these creatures.
Sarah whispered : we have to leave....before we wake one of them up.....if one is up...all are up....let's go.
After they left the village and got far away from it, Kipo was confused of what's the matter.
Kipo : so what's next.....how will we take them out ?
Sarah : we won't.
Kipo : what ?....why ?
Sarah : you don't know much about biology.....do you ?
Kipo : I'm an astronomy scientist....of course I don't know anything about biology.
Sarah : snakes contain venom....this venom can do many different things to it's victim....some hurt...some immobilize....some make you bleed.....and some kills....one drop of a giant snake's venom is enough to kill you at least in like 2 minutes.....there is no way any of us will survive a fight with them.
Kipo : but how do we help the hamsters ?.....we have to.
Sarah : we need to find another way that doesn't involve violence.....unfortunately.
Kipo : we could get Zet.....if violence is still an option.
Sarah : if we do this fight even with Zet.....he might be the only survivor in it.....and that's a maybe.
Kipo : do we head to back to the hamster village now ?
Sarah : I think I have a plan....but we need Zet for it to work.....let's go to his tree house.
After a long walk, the night is almost sitting and it started raining, they have finally reached Zet's house, when they arrived Sarah climbed up to the door and broke it open, she knows that he's not in it.
Kipo : that was very unnecessary of you.
Sarah : sure....we can wait outside if you want.
Kipo : fine....
Sarah : we'll wait for him....he should be back soon.
The girls waited in the tree house for almost 10 minutes, then they heard Zet coming back.
When Zet came in he was surprised to see his door open, he summoned lightning in his hands before going to see who broke his door, he then climbed up and aimed immediately at the first thing he spotted.
Kipo : don't shoot !!
Sarah : oh hey Zet.....thought you'd never come back.
when Zet saw who broke in his house he turned off his lightning hands.
Zet : oh....it's you two....you couldn't more rude than this you know....oh...and hey Kipo.
Sarah : glad to see you too.....you know I broke into my house too.
Kipo : hi Zet.
Zet : what do you want ?
Sarah : long story....we need your help...and no...we're not going to kill or hurt anyone....this time.
Zet : fill me in.
Sarah : so recently we visited a village.....it was the hamsters village....they're dying slowly almost every night.....they're getting hunted by the snakes....they will eventually all die unless they get help.
Zet : and YOU want to help them?....I'm truly shocked...
Sarah : not me precisely....but yes...I do.
Zet : so what's the plan ?
Kipo : well....we tried to fight the snakes at first.....but luckily we realized we can't kill one of them without dying first.
Zet : you just found out?.....the snake that was chasing me was a blind snake.....but also a dumb one....it couldn't speak like the rest....but because it can't see it could hear and smell better than the rest of it's kind.....that one was average height and size to them....no one can miss with these guys and survive....I was lucky to find water on my way.
Kipo : wow....the mutation event did a real number on them.
Sarah : we need to go back to the hamsters village and see how they're holding up.
Zet : let's go then.
A while has passed when they were walking, and suddenly Zet asked Kipo in private.
Zet : hey does she know about what I told you ?
Kipo : no....I did not tell her anything.....yet.
By the time Zet and Kipo finished their private conversation, they have already arrived to their destination, the hamsters village.
Sarah : we're here.
Kipo was glad to see the population of this village didn't decrease as much as she thought.
Kipo : hi everyone !
The hamsters looked at her for a short while without saying any word.
Kipo : right...depression.
Zet : anybody cares to explain what's up with them ?
Kipo : they're usually depressed because of the snake attacks.
Sarah : and we're about to change this.
Sarah then headed to a high place, high enough to be able to gather all the hamsters in one place.
Sarah : alright everyone.....who's of you sick of the snakes attacks almost every night ? 
Many hamsters lift their hands up, while many others just left, they did not want to change anything and accept their fate by ending up eaten by a snake.
Sarah : we can change all of this.
The village chief : we won't fight them.
Sarah : why the hell does everyone find violence the first solution to everything....
Zet : what do you mean ?.....you did that too !
Sarah : shut up.....anyway....we have a plan to make you all safe from the snakes once and for all.
Some of the hamsters that left came back, they wanted to hear this plan before judging.
Sarah : but we need your help with this....if this plan works...none of you will ever be eaten by a snake again.
The villager chief : we're listening.
Sarah : we can change this whole village's location to somewhere else where they won't find you....and we will make decoys in these houses....so they won't suspect anything.....when they find out that you all left it will be too late for them...you would already be gone.
The village chief : but what about when they come at night ?
Sarah : this is why we have this guy.....everyone....meet Zet....he can control lightning and stuff...
Zet : hi everyone.....
Sarah then whispered to Zet.
Sarah : show them....
Zet : oh yeah.....this will hurt.
He then showed off his powers to the hamsters, they were impressed, more of those who left started to come back, this plan was destined to succeed.
Kipo : NOW they're interested.
Sarah : he will be able to keep them away at night.....we will work hard for it....but it will be worth it....unless you all want to be randomly picked as snakes dinner.
The village chief : do you have more details? 
Sarah : yes....but for now...that's all you need to know to judge.....so...do you agree to save yourselves ?
The hamsters finally let out a small smile on their faces, the village chief nodded in agreement, Sarah nodded back, she was excited for her plan to work.
Sarah : alright then.....let's get to work !
Zet : wait...who came up with this idea ?
Kipo : I didn't even know about it.....all Sarah.
Zet : not bad.....not bad...so what we should do first ?
Sarah : ok....Kipo....go get wood from the forest....get a group with you...gather as much sticks as you can find.
Kipo : got it !
Sarah : and Zet....I need you to keep an eye on the snakes at all time....keep them away from here as much you can....if you're part fails....the whole plan fails.
Zet : no pressure huh ? 
Sarah : relax....we both know you got this....
Zet : speak for yourself.....but sure.
The village chief : and what's our part ? 
Sarah : work on transferring all your stuff outside of the village....and I will go and find a new place for you to live in.
The chief nodded in agreement.
The village chief : thank you....for all of this.
Sarah nodded with a faint smile on her face.
Sarah then left the village to look for the villager's new home. 
Hours have passed, the night has started to set, Sarah found 3 different places, she can't make the choice herself, it's all up to the chief to decide, it's time for her to get back.
when Sarah came back she saw progress being made, they are desperate to live a happy normal life.
Kipo and Zet had already came back after hard long day of work.
Sarah : Zet....report.
Zet : they don't show any action all day....only night....
Sarah : good news.....you'll have time to rest in the day.
Zet : heading to do my job. 
Sarah : and what about you Kipo ? 
Kipo leaded Sarah into one of the houses where she put all the sticks she gathered, it was a massive pile of sticks .
Kipo : is this enough ? 
When Sarah saw the pile she was surprised.
Sarah : more than enough....good job.....you can go get some rest now.
Kipo : you're not coming ?
Sarah : I'll be late....I need to speak with the chief.
Kipo : ok....see you later.
Sarah then went to speak with chief, he was in a private meeting with a group of villagers, she heard them talking about her and her group, she decided to hide in a place where they won't see her and started to listen. 
Villager : we have to do this....it will be way better than her plan.
Villager : but they're trying to help us.
Village chief : they're humans....we can't trust them....we have to do it....
Villager : it's simple....we capture them when they are defenseless....we deliver them to him and we will be rewarded with a wish....as he usually does....and he will get rid of all the snakes....he doesn't like them anyway.
Village chief : we will capture them tomorrow at dawn....be ready for them....we know where they live.
Sarah was surprised by this, it was all a trap, they were betraying them all this time, she had to do something fast, she ran away from the village without anyone seeing her and headed straight to their tent, when she arrived their she found Kipo sleeping. 
Sarah : Kipo wake up!
Kipo : woah....what's going on ? 
Sarah : pack the tent....we need to leave now.
Kipo : what ?....why ?....what happened ?
Sarah : I will explain later....but now we need to find Zet.....pack everything and wait here....I'll go call Zet....be right back.
Sarah then ran and searched for a 2 rocks and a stick, she then climbed a big tree as fast as she could and started to set the stick on fire, she then howled as loudly. 
Zet heard it, he looked up at the sky.
Sarah then set the stick on fire and threw it up in the sky.
Zet saw it and ran back to her as fast he could.
Zet has arrived.
Zet : what's the emergency ?
Sarah : no time to explain now....we need to get to Kipo.
Zet and Sarah then ran back to Kipo, she already finished packing the tent.
Sarah : Kipo....when you went to get the sticks....did you pass by Zet's house ? 
Kipo : yes....multiple times....there were many broken trees in that area.....is there anything wrong ?
Zet : I live next to the lumber cats....
Sarah : oh no....the tree house is compromised....we need to get all the stuff you need in that house and leave...now.
Zet : are you going to say what's happening ? 
Sarah : they're frauds....they were trying to capture us all this time....apparently they know that were humans and they're going to deliver us to him.
Zet : him ?
Sarah : I don't know either....they kept saying him....they are going to attack us at dawn....we need to hurry and get your important stuff and ditch that place....now !
Zet : let's go.
They ran to Zet's tree house, there was no one there, they had to hurry, when they arrived they were about to get in, but Zet stopped them outside.
Zet : stop here....I won't take long.
Sarah nodded.
Kipo : ok.
after 15 minutes Zet came out of the tree house with a backpack.
Zet : alright....I'm ready...let's get away from this place.
After Zet finished packing they all headed in the opposite direction of the hamsters village.
They have been walking all night, they were all tired, they needed to sleep, when they walked far enough from the hamsters village, they found a spot to set the camp in, it was in the forest, where the trees will give them cover to protect them from their enemies.
Everyone was tired, but Zet was angry, he waited for the girls to sleep then he flew back to hamsters village, when he arrived he sneaked into the house where Kipo stashed all the sticks, he grabbed a big amount and sat them all on fire and threw them at the villager's houses burning many houses they were sleeping in, he then flew back to the camp, he found Sarah waiting for him.
She was worried about him.
Sarah : where were you ? 
Zet : they took my home away.....so I took theirs.
Sarah : so much for laying low....
Zet did not respond, he was very mad, he can kill the whole village in a matter of minutes, but his conscious will always prevent him from killing.

The story revolves around

Sigh. Zian had already reminded Vladimir earlier not to stare at two or three sheep while shearing them, but it had gone in one ear and out the other. Its habit of using famous quotes was really hard to change.
Zhang Zian resigned. He didn't rush over to say hello to Little Celery. Instead, he first corrected Vladimir. "You shouldn't just use quote famous quotes, as they lack flexibility. She's not even that old and is, at most, like the sun at six or seven o'clock in the morning…"
Vladimir listened to Zian's advice and nodded. "Six or seven o'clock is good too."
"Also, what's the meaning of the Meow Meow Doctrine?" Zian asked. He had heard Vladimir shout the name of its move earlier and somehow felt his chrysanthemum tighten…
Vladimir gave it some thought then explained, "That is a good question… In short, it fights for the freedom, equality, and fairness of stray cats. Its goal is also to free stray cats from being bullied and oppressed so that they can decide on their own destiny!"
"Okay then…" Its answer was acceptable, so Zhang Zian wisely decided not to delve into it. Who knew if he might get an inappropriate answer if he continued on the subject…
Little Celery was used to Zhang Zian conversing with animals, although his partner that day was a blue cat that looked very spirited. She had never seen it in the store before.
As the weather turned warm, Little Celery was not wearing clothes as thick as the ones she wore during the early spring. They were replaced with loose-fitting sportswear that were easy to move in. Her clothes were a half a size bigger than her actual size––after all, children grew up fast and clothes that fit couldn't be worn for long. Her mother was definitely a pragmatist.
In addition, she finally did not need to wear thick hats and scarves, so her iconic pigtails were fully exposed now.
Zhang Zian noticed the direction of her pigtails, then recalled that it was definitely the weekend. Ever since he had taken over the pet shop, he had almost lost the concept of time; however, Little Celery's pigtails were as accurate as ever.
"Little Celery, it's the weekend. Why are you here so early on a weekend? Didn't you want to sleep in?" he asked.
Little Celery looked around and exclaimed, "Wow, there's a lot of people!"
Usually during the early morning, the store was as empty as ever––but wasn't Dog Warrior showing? Many local fans who watched the premiere rushed over early in the morning to find Famous so they could get a photo together; however, the shop was not fully prepared for opening, so they were stopped outside by the staff.
There were so many fans lined up outside, and Famous wasn't willing to make the floor dirty with everyone coming in after the staff had cleaned up the place. If all the fans were to be let in, they would interfere with the business, so Famous went outside the shop and satisfied the fans request for photos out there.
Little Celery only remembered after being asked by Zhang Zian that there was a reason she had stopped by. She quickly said, "I don't have class today, but the hamster in our class is going to give birth soon. My classmates told me to ask you if you could come over to help. Do you have the time?"
Little Celery and her friends had been very serious about raising the hamster; they had formed a feeding plan where daily records were taken by the person on duty each day. Through their care, the hamsters grew well, and several female hamsters had gotten pregnant. Now, despite Zhang Zian's long-term guidance, they had no confidence in handling the childbirth process, so they had Little Celery ask Zhang Zian to come and guide them through the process.
Zhang Zian looked at his schedule, and that day he was as free as usual. If he stayed in the store, he would probably be dragged around by the fans and media then forced to answer their questions, so it was better to just head out for a walk.
What was more, the Zhonghua Road Primary School where Little Celery studied was very close to the shop; it was just minutes away.
"Sure! No problem," Zhang Zian said. "I'll take a trip down with you."
"Thank you, Brother Shop Manager!" Little Celery finally breathed a sigh of relief.
"Little Celery, have you eaten?" asked Zian as he touched his own empty belly.
"I have!"
"Then you can play in the shop for a while. We'll leave after I have breakfast."
"Okay!" Little Celery ran into the store cheerfully.
Vladimir, who had been sitting by the side watching and listening, suddenly said, "Can I come along too? I'm new here in Binhai City, so I need to familiarize myself with the nearby terrain and environment. After all, I've got no right to speak without any investigation."
"Sure." Zhang Zian agreed with what it said. He felt that there was nothing wrong with bringing it along.
Zian bought some steamed buns and soy milk, split them between the staff members, and finished his own portion. He then called Little Celery over and left the shop with her.
"Oh… Is this cat coming along with us?" Little Celery asked. She had taken a few steps forward before she turned around and noticed Vladimir tagging along.
Zhang Zian guessed her concerns. "Well, don't worry. It won't hurt the hamsters."
"That's good then." Little Celery finally rested assured.
The current weather was mild and suitable for walking––possibly the best weather for walking in the whole year. Many couples and families were out and about, taking advantage of the good weather. Even Otakus that never left their house were not able to stop themselves from going out for a walk. If they didn't, they would have been wasting such good weather.
On the way down to the school, Little Celery told Zhang Zian about the small problems they had encountered while raising the hamsters, and the interesting things that happened in school. Vladimir followed behind them and observed the unfamiliar city.
Binhai City and the capital were two cities with very different styles. Even if the scale and population of both cities were not taken into consideration, the obvious differences could be seen from their rhythm of life. Due to the limited amount of pressure they placed on life, the residents in Binhai were accustomed a slow and leisurely pace of life.
Occasionally, there would be one or two stray cats on the side of the road or on the wall, and after seeing Vladimir, they didn't have any special reaction. Whether they were fighting or eating food from people's hands, they were no different than usual. They seemed to treat Vladimir as any other ordinary cat, which was very different from their behavior when they saw Fina.
Vladimir was walking leisurely. It would sometimes mumble something and sometimes nod, but Zhang Zian did not know what was going on in its head.
Zhang Zian casually spoke with Little Celery, and periodically he would look back at it. He thought that after leaving the pet shop, Vladimir would be very eager to look around for the Holy Cat statue, however the reality was much different from his own imagination.
Before it could deal with the Holy Cat statue, it had to be located first. The Holy Cat statue was really elusive, and if it were that easy to find, then Zian would have already found it.
Zian was very curious about how Vladimir planned to find the Holy Cat statue in the first place.
Vladimir felt his gaze and smiled back at him with a meaningful smile. The smile was full of self-confidence and it said, "No hurry! No hurry! In any practical work, all the correct leads must come from the puss and blend with the puss!"
Zhang Zian paused. Fortunately, it didn't say into the… puss.
They arrived at the entrance of Zhonghua Road Primary School, and Zhang Zian didn't bother with the Holy Cat statue for the time being. He followed Little Celery into the campus and towards the hamsters.

It was early in the morning and his host wasn't up yet, Viers let him sleep. After yesterday, he would need much rest. Viers went to the lawn of Mercer's house, tossing a ghostly pale blue ball into the air. As it slowly fell downward, Viers slashed it with his sword in one swift stroke. Unlike the usual watery blue, the sword was wreathed in milky green color.
"Hmph!"
The bluish-white ball split into two parts.
"Hyah!"
Another stroke and the ball separated into four.
"Shih!"
Again, and again, and again.
After Viers reduced the ball into tiny pieces, he continued observing it, eyes picking up the slightest of details. Before long the soul dissipated. Slowly, he returned the sword to the sheath like a samurai, finishing it with a satisfying click.
'Even with that I still couldn't destroy it completely. Some part of the soul simply… went away, not destroyed. Did they really go to Heaven or Hell?'
The soul just now was Tarakai, the one who tried to give him a poisoned soup and wanted to kill him. Viers already excavated any memories worth noting -although it wasn't much- and decided to discharge him from his service.
Simply releasing the souls he captured was a simple affair. They usually floated to the sky then disappeared, beyond even the reach of his tier 5 Soul affinity.
With Viers forgoing the necromantic facet of his power, he experimented with many things, such as what he was trying to do now, soulkill.
'I managed to harm the soul, gravely. But I am unable to completely extinguish it from heaven and earth… at least the current me that is. It will have to do. In the stories, unlike bodily harm, injury to the soul is often very difficult to heal. I'm sure it will be useful in the future.'
"How are you holding up, Mister Mercer?" Cain spoke to the person watching from behind, his ears were sharp. He knew Mercer had been watching since a short while ago but it seemed the older man didn't want to disturb his training.
"I feel… refreshed. How can I not be, after you bestowed a kindness I'm unable to repay for my whole lifetime."
"Glad to hear it," Cain turned around, looking at Mercer's face. "Still thinking of taking your own life?" He already knew the answer from what he saw but Cain still asked for politeness' sake.
"No, it would… make Martha sad," Mercer smiled bitterly.
"The burden you bear is heavy. How you live with such a burden I cannot tell you, no one can. You must decide, despite the pain and grief. Dying is easy, living is hard. What can mere mortals such as us do other than living the best we could in this world?" Cain said, trying to convey some words of wisdom.
"It is as you say, lord benefactor." Thanks to Cain's show of power yesterday, Mercer took Cain's words as revelations from an angel.
"I must leave soon," Cain saddled his backpack up. "May the Radiant Lady light your way," Cain said his farewell.
"And to you, envoy," Mercer kneeled on the ground with his hands joined in front of his face.
'Oh no, I hope not. Aunt Estelle might smite me for all the bad deeds I have done,' Cain thought while smiling bitterly.
"Remember, don't tell anyone anything about this matter and myself."
"I will hold the sanctity of our pact. I swear this once again."
Cain nodded with satisfaction and turned around. With that as the parting words, Cain left towards his next destination.
Mercer watched until his figure was no longer visible, the golden light from the morning sun warmly enveloped him. It felt like the embrace of his family yesterday night.
"Thank you, lord angel..." Mercer whispered.
Viers, the maverick mistaken as an angel of the Goddess Estelle was walking in a good mood. Doing something good and getting rewarded for it brought warm feelings to his heart.
'It's been a while, let's do a quick check. It's now at... 36.57%, huh? Very good. Keep on rising, my power. Hahaha!' Viers' mysterious number kept rising.

"HOLD THE LINE!!!"
The man who said that braced the impact of a 200 kilograms hamster the size of a tiger.
"Rggghhh!" The man grunted, clenching his molars very, very hard.
He was not alone in this, left and right of him stood men and women of various ages. They too were holding their ground against other hamsters although not as big as the one in front of the man wearing a dark-colored metal plate. One used a wall of earth, one used a rampart of wind. Each of them were using different ways of fighting against the horde.
"Iron Spike!"
A cone of metal jutted out from the ground. It had a diameter of 1 meter at the base, becoming smaller until the tip was a sharp point. The cone-shaped metal pierced the stomach of the hamster monster, making the unnaturally sized monster squeal.
"Raahhh!"
Using his sword, the man embedded his weapon in the skull of another monster that came from behind the orange-furred hamster he just defeated. Before he could breathe, another one came from the side, wanting to take a bite at his stomach. In a hurry, the man moved his left arm between them. The hamster gnashed his vambrace with frenzied fervor, its two front teeth looked very menacing.
"DIE!"
His hand turned metallic and gave the hamster a punch on its skull, smashing its head to a pulp. The man saw his friend beside him was almost overwhelmed under the assault of three hamsters.
"Aldo! Let him go, you beasts! Iron King's Decapitation!!"
The man created a massive sword of iron and swung it downward, slashing the three hamsters in one go.
"Thank you Captain, I-"
"Shut it! Next wave incoming, Frag Explosion!"
The man threw a sphere of metal he created with his Arte into a clump of five hamster monsters. The sphere burst into tiny slugs with such force that the hamsters lost their lives in a heartbeat.
That only brought a moment of respite before the man must again kill another monster that replaced the ones he just killed. Those men and women were like a wall, battered with waves of water. Still, the wall stood valiantly, not giving an inch.
For an unknown amount of time, he kept fighting. At last, he witnessed the last tiger-sized hamster monster slain by one of his comrades. Then the cheering came, they had claimed victory on this ground.
"Captain Jarret, news from the left wing." A messenger called him out.
"Haah... haah... what?" Jarret wiped the splattered hamster blood on his neck while catching his breath.
"Sir, the left wing is almost broken! Hansen, Tommy, Vurg, and Sharon have fallen. There was a big one among the hamsters assaulting the left wing, we suspect it is the alpha, A Tiger-striped Hamster. It's a Rank 2 monster, sir." The messenger said with a pained expression.
"...Those fools, I told them not to die..." Jarret knew he shouldn't let emotions overwhelm him in a battlefield but he couldn't stop the feeling of sadness from approaching him. His discipline allowed him to focus once again after a few moments.
"Mister Holt, I'll assist the left wing. I leave the center in your command!" Jarret said to a man much older than him. Holt's hair was all white, he had been retired for years. Even so when the Tide came, he volunteered to stand at the front line.
"Understood, Captain. May the Goddess be with you."
"And with you. Juggernaut Armor!"
Jarret invoked another Arte. This time, he became covered in sturdy black armor from head to toe.
"Siiir! E-emergency report from the right wing!"
Before Jarret could move to the left wing's aid, a different messenger came in a panic. Jarret knew he would not bring good news.
"Speak." Even he himself was surprised at how weak-willed his voice became.
"A-another Beast Tide came from the east! At least a hundred apes led by a Rank 3 Thunder Orangutan are approaching the right wing as we speak. They must be drawn by the battle, for the meat and core of the dead hamsters! Your orders, sir?"
The message was another nail in the coffin for these men. They were barely hanging on against the hamster's tide. The appearance of the orangutans would break their defense line like a knife against paper.
Ten of them were in the center, now they were only seven. The swarm of teeth had claimed the lives of three of them. When the crisis was nigh, they came forward to fulfill their duty to protect the town. Now, after hours of fighting, they still stood despite being full of wounds. Healers were casting their magic full-force. One healer was trying to attach the severed arm of the unconscious Rudin.
"A Rank 3..."
"We're finished… The town is finished…"
"Damn those adventurers! They had to drag the whole town into their mess. May the Devils take those idiots!"
Jarret saw the hope and will of his comrades-of-war around him fade like mist. How could they not? There was nothing he -a mere Level 2 Pathseeker- could do against a Rank 3 monster. There was nobody in Osemore town that could match the boss monster in combat. Even if he tried, it would be great if he could delay the Rank 3 for a few seconds. All seemed lost.
"Is this the end?..." Jarret closed his eyes. His heart felt like ice.
A loud blast jolted him to open his eyes.
"Eh?"
"What happened?"
"Captain Jarret, look!"
A blaze of flame ten meters high could be seen from where they were standing.
"That's from the left wing."
Jarret used the Arte Farsight to see the hamster boss being engulfed in explosions. At a nearby hill, Jarret saw a lone figure carrying a smoking metal tube on his shoulder.
"Brother!"
"Kate? What are you doing here?"
Jarret saw his younger sister coming from the direction of the town.
"We have come to help," she said with an excited expression.
"No! There's nothing we can do. A Rank 3 monster is coming! We must tell the town to begin evacuation immediately."
"Don't worry brother. Someone strong came along with me!"
'Strange,' Jarret thought. His sister looked so confident. While they were talking there were a couple more explosions from the left wing's side. The hamsters on that side had been blown away, not a single one left standing.
'Was it him?' Jarret looked at the youth on the hill wearing strange clothes and a strange weapon.
"By the Goddess!"
"How could it be!?"
"He's flying! Is he a Level 5?"
After he was finished with the left wing, the youth rose to the air and went to the right wing, passing Jarret's position in the process. The mysterious stranger had some kind of fire coming from his shoes and back. He flew so fast and arrived above the apes' location in a short time.
He hovered in the sky, surveying the monkeys below him like a deity.
Because he was so eye-catching, it didn't take long until the apes noticed him. The biggest of them all, the Rank 3 Thunder Orangutan took it as a challenge. It had the size of an elephant, very muscular and imposing. Its white fur bristled and crackled with lighting then a thunderbolt appeared in its arm.
"UHHOOHH!"
It let out a primal roar and threw the lance of plasma to the flying youth, enveloping him in a blinding violet explosion.
"Not good!" Jarret wanted to go to assist but his sister held his hand back.
"Don't worry brother. He's strong," Kate smiled.
The smoke receded and he saw the flying youth once again. He was indeed fine, no signs of injury. A spherical shield covered his body without a blind spot. The barrier had a strange pattern on it, it was like something he saw in a beehive.
The youth with silver hair retaliated. He unleashed a strange… exploding arrow. The power was massive. From a tube on his shoulder, the arrow jetted forward leaving a trail of fire and smoke. It exploded with fiery fury and deafening sound. Jarret witnessed the mysterious youth create another 'arrowhead' with his empty hand, put it on the strange tube, and shot another exploding arrow.
A hailstorm of explosions came upon the monkey Beast Tide. A hundred apes or so were powerless before the explosions. The Rank 3 managed to hold against the first three blasts but the seventh overwhelmed it. The flying attacker used something different to finish the Thunder Orangutan. Jarret only saw a streak of blue light and the apes' alpha exploded to smithereens. Seeing their leader in such a sorry state was the final straw, the monkeys scattered in all directions. Screaming.
But the silver-haired death god didn't let them go.
"…Heavens, what did I see?" Jarret muttered. His sentiment was shared with the people around in the center battlefield.
"He's Sigma, I told you about a strong Idler that saved me from the goblins before, right? That's him," Kate explained fondly.

Hey, what would you do after you got isekai-ed?

Me?

Look! A cockroach villain has appeared. Let's kill him before he messes things up. Too cruel? That kind of character is always introduced to be killed by the protagonist anyway so I'm doing the world a favor here. Less CO2 emission. It's time to "Go Green" guys, even in another world.

See over there, that's a trash young master type right there. What do I do? Endure the initial insults and provocation then dispose of him when no one sees of course. Why make things difficult?

Hmm, a pretty girl in peril. Potential love interest there… but no, I have enough problems as it is. At the very least, I won't help her just 'cause she's a female. Same goes for males. What? I support gender equality.

Hey, I know the clichés, what did you think I was going to do? Simply let it run its course? Well duh, I'll twist it to my benefit.

"Spectators! We can see how the short Goblins in full armor appear comical. They charge at each other and don't dare to antagonize Metal Devourer, who is standing in the middle like a victor. Nobody dares to get close to him as he swings his wooden club… Oh? The Goblins are fighting. They use their swords… Er, to stab each other?" 
A male Lizard Man presenter, who was standing on a high stage, overlooked the Goblins killing each other. 
The arena became a grotesque massacre ground.
Random voices came from the spectator stands.
"Bro! Impressive!"
"That's more like it. The Orc and Gnome battle was trash! The Orc lifted his own scalp and flew up! It was too fake."
"Where did they find such Goblins? Interesting!"
The Lizard Man was stunned. Being a professional, he suppressed his fear and continued speaking.
"We're seeing a Goblin hack another's arm and biting the Goblin's ear. Oh my God, is that a head? It's flying up? Metal Devourer is leaving the arena! He's walking towards the resting area. He spoke to the referee and left with him! I have to report this to security! The situation is out of control!"
The tens of spectators were excited by the bloodshed.
The fighting in the arena wasn't that bloody, at least not spiritually speaking.
The three teams charged towards Arthur and NotWearingPants. They had only run halfway when they noticed that three Goblins didn't have green names. That meant they were NPCs!
NotWearingPants charged out and shouted to the other gamers, "Please stop. We've received a hidden mission. The three of them are Winterfell's death row inmates. They're thinking of escaping the prison and finding Sherlie."
The gamers responded excitedly after hearing NotWearingPants words.
"Why are you so lucky?"
"Where did you receive this mission? What are the rewards?"
"Call me Daddy, otherwise, I'll kill both of you and your mission will be gone."
"Wah! That's vicious. I like it!"
"Let me see if I can hit your mission NPC."
A gamer hacked at a Hamster with his weapon.
"Zi!" The Hamster was shocked. He wobbled in the loose armor and ran behind Arthur for protection. 
Twenty-odd Goblins chatted while the other gamers were still performing a massacre and providing entertainment to the spectators.
Soon, a team of fully armed Orcs rushed into the arena and subdued the fighting gamers. 
"Don't move! Kneel down and hug your heads!"
"Stand there! Did you hear me! Stand right there!"
"Don't resist!"
…
"Lord Sherlock…" The fat boss of the arena, the Poison Toadman, looked at the grotesque corpses being carried out of the arena. He was dumbfounded as he looked at Sherlock and said, "What's this about?"
"Like I've said, my Goblins are excellent Gladiators. They'll bring sizable profits to your arena."
Sherlock smiled as though he didn't see his servants' grotesque corpses.
"No, it's not about the profits… If someone investigates… the Underworld Labor Union…" 
The arena boss looked worried.
Sherlock took a Uranium stick from the boss' chest pocket. He used Mana to light up the stick and then put it into the boss' mouth.
"The Underworld was such a wonderful place once. Chaotic and without order. Innovative art erupted everywhere. The rowdy Gladiator Arena was a symbol of unlimited wealth. But now, look at the pathetic Gladiator line. Ai… frankly speaking, I'm a passionate lover of Gladiator fights. I'm in the Dungeon daily, thinking of new and innovative gimmicks for the arena."
Sherlock pointed at the grotesque corpses of the Goblins and said, "But they're different. They're the new age darlings and the hopes of the Gladiator world. Think about it. The Goblins, which are like rapidly multiplying ants, can provide new stimulation to the senses. The spectators will like it. How's that? My price's fair, ten Magic Stones for each Goblin. Nobody will lodge complaints and sob over deaths. Nobody will sit on the Beetlemon's head and harass you." 
The boss took a few puffs of the Uranium stick and spat out a mushroom cloud.
"But the death compensation…"
"Don't worry, I know your difficulties. Don't worry about death compensation. But the Goblin's equipment…" Sherlock lifted up a piece of damaged armor at the side.
"Understand, I fully understand. We'll take care of the equipment. How can we let Lord Sherlock pay for the equipment?"
The arena boss was full of respect for Sherlock and gave his promise.
Sherlock and the arena boss had another round of intimate discussion. They decided to create their terms and choose a date for a formal contract.
The proceedings went smoothly, just as Sherlock had expected.
"I didn't expect the Gladiator Arena to be in such a pathetic state. During my time, Gladiatorial combat was a very popular sport," Bru said nostalgically.
"It was out of my expectations too. I haven't visited a Gladiator Arena for more than a hundred years. The times are different…" Sherlock sighed and saw the gamer NotWearingPants walking to his side.
"Sherlie." NotWearingPants said secretively to Sherlock, "We've received a hidden mission. Please take a look."
Sherlock gazed at the secretive NotWearingPants and followed him.
Sherlock saw Arthur, three Goblins without green names, and three unclothed gamers standing in a corner. 
Though they were wearing Goblin armor, black and white fur was peeping out from the helmets. The eyes were different from that of Goblins as well. They were Hamsters. 
The three Hamsters spoke in voices that suggested inhalation of Helium.
"Lord Sherlock!"
"We're pitiful!"
"Are there things to eat?"
Arthur stood out and said to the Hamsters, "We've completed your request. This is Lord Sherlock of Eternal Kingdom."
"Eternal Kingdom Dungeon?"
"Lord Sherlock has a Dungeon?"
"Where's the food?"
The three Hamsters spoke at the same time.
"Pom, pom, pom."
…
A slim Goblin named Raintea sat on a pile of soil at the flowerbed.
Little Fairy sat on her bed and looked at the sad Goblin who was sitting in front of a wilted flower and wiping her tears.
This Goblin would always cry silently every time the flowers wilted.
The other gamers observed from a distance. They wanted to console Raintea, but they were wary of Little Fairy spitting at them.
Little Fairy stood up and walked towards the wilted flower.
The gamers retreated when Little Fairy advanced.
She squatted down and used her white fingers to touch the wilted flower, which came back to life after that.
Raintea looked dumbstruck at Little Fairy who rose up, shut her eyes, hugged her arms, and looked proud.
"Humph! It's not because you're sad. I saved the flowers because I pitied them. Don't be mistaken!"
Little Fairy waited for a while, but Raintea didn't respond. She said, "What a rude Goblin! You're indeed an evil Underworld creature!"
"Sorry! No, thank you!" Raintea said as she returned to her senses.
"Humph! I don't intend to keep you as my disciple. You look like someone when you cultivate the plants. Cultivation is not done like that! Fool!"
The surrounding gamers shouted in anger, "Why are you scolding her? She's my Raintea goddess!"
Little Fairy spat saliva.
"Ke—Pui!"

The furnace was lit with fire in the Blacksmith Shop as Simba worked on the Diamond Seam. Standard equipment was created like a water flow from the Magic Furnace.
There was a long queue outside. They were the novice gamers waiting to buy equipment.
Simba had dark eye rings as he hadn't rested for three days. He hadn't even smoked for three days!
He didn't have time. Since the novice gamers arrived, the stockpiled equipment was all sold. The Goblin worked like crazy excavating and carrying bricks. Once they received bronze coins, they came to him to buy equipment.
They were thin with hunger and looked as though a breeze would blow them away. Why did they not buy food? Why were they suffering from hunger? They should buy food to eat and a bed to rest!
What was the use of buying equipment? Were they able to be Gladiators?
"Pom."
He hammered extremely hard as he felt angrier the more he thought about it. Why did he have to work harder than the Goblins with a pittance?
He looked at the Goblin, SealHeadLingChong, in front of him. He was taken aback.
Yes! The crazy workaholic Goblins!
"Hey!"
"Ah?" SealHeadLingChong was stunned as he gazed at Simba who hailed him.
"You look pretty. Why don't you learn Blacksmithing from me?" Simba asked.
"Ah—!"
The group of Goblins behind rushed forward.
"Teach me! I want to learn Blacksmithing!"


Sherlock is a new generation Dungeon Lord whose ambition is to become the greatest Devil King and building up the greatest Dungeon in the Underworld.
He summons a group of other-worldly goblins who give themselves strange names, form cliques, engage in commerce, and even fight among themselves.
They call themselves—Gamers!

In this world there was said to be "undeveloped areas". They were considered uncultivated due to various reasons such as there being no resources, dangerous weathers, and difficult terrain.  The Kaoshin mountains was one such 'forbidden zone' for humans.

This area was a mountainous region surrounded by mists and clouds all year round. Although it was a mountainous region, at the same time this was an understatement to its status. Mountains here were jagged, with huge slopes and cliffs. This area was so inaccessible that it was no wonder why it was a so called forbidden zone to humans.

This was not to mention that there were countless dangers surrounding inside these areas. Yearly there were many land slides in this region, even avalanches during the winter near the peaks. A nickname for this area region was "Unstable Peaks".

Counting the mists, clouds, unstable ground, and sheer cliff faces, and land filled with tight spaces, this was a place that no one wished to travel through. However this was not to mean that there was no life within this region. In fact, it was filled with life sources. 

Because of the uniqueness of this place many special herbs, plants, minerals, and species existed within. So even humans, periodically braved the dangers in order to seek this unique items that aren't seen in the outside world. Even with people going in though, every year countless people who went in never came back. These mountains were the essence of danger.

Currently winter had just ended, and spring sprung up.  Spring time was here in this environment, and the sleeping life springed out of sleep, making these seemingly empty zones filled with life once again.

Within all these animals coming out was a unique species of hamsters. Although its species was a hamster, people know that they are basically the cute and better versions of mice. In the wild mice and rats are the carriers of pesticides and diseases. This hamster was also a sickly one herself. None of the predators here dared to eat her, for they knew by instinct that they will most likely die too soon after.

Even though hamsters are a house pet, this one was after all a unique species so it was different from those common hamsters. Even if it was filled with diseases because it lived in the wild, it was not affected by them one bit. Although she sometimes felt sick or dizzy, it did not affect her enough to become a one way trip to death.

This species of hamsters were called Pathfinders. They had a strong survivability in the wild. They had a strong sense of instinctual direction, strong memory, amazing stamina, and powerful legs. They also gave off a pheromone that helped ward off people who wished to eat the cute her.

Most special of these species though were there strong instinctual danger warning and treasure detector. They can sense whether something was bad or good to eat. This helped them not eat poison out of all the special herbs on the mountains. They also had a strong danger sense like those of cats, and can leave before a disaster comes.

This made the species very popular with the adventurers and young noble ladies, but because of its unique skill it was very hard to acquire one of these as they can leave before the poachers even knew there was one in their area.

Pathfinders also were cute by nature and had lovable light yellow tint colored fluffy smooth fur. Because of its adorable nature they tended to be lazy, even if they had enough power to traverse the dangerous terrains here.

As the Pathfinder came out from its hole of where it slept, her eyes were droopy and her light pink nose  was twitching left and right. She was a proud hamster and was even more prideful these past couple weeks.

When she was being a leech to one of the powerful Kaoshin Mountain Wolves, to traverse the terrain safely and gain food her treasure sense detected something. It was the biggest sensation she had ever had when this skill of hers went off. It was the peak of everything combined, she knew there was something very special around so she soon left those wolves to traverse the terrain on her own in fear that they would steal it.

She knew it must be something very beneficial to her as it far past anything she had once experienced. If compared the past things were all toothpicks while today was the tooth pick being shredded to pieces in the biggest hurricane to have ever existed.

She rarely got excited, but she was that day. Quickly she found what was setting off her detector. What she had found was a small glowing orb of water. It was a marble that was changing from colors of white like lightning and the blue of water, then it periodically became clear in some parts like those of air or clouds.

She was confused, but she knew it must be very good to her. Blinking her eyes she soon ate the mysterious orb. Once she swallowed it she felt nothing had happened. There was no taste, in fact once she swallowed, there was nothing that was swallowed… Thinking it was very mysterious she was happy that she had found something so special.

Noticing nothing was happening after she had eaten this thing her instinct was telling her it'll probably be best if she waited here to see what its effects were or if there was something here, maybe she needed to wait here to activate its hidden effects. So she waited.

Luckily there was a small lake with some berries and herbs nearby so she did not need to adventure out and exhaust herself. She was very excited and impatiently waiting for the hidden perks to come out from that marble. This though… was a couple of weeks ago…

Weeks had now passed with nothing happening but her lazily sleeping and eating. Her instincts were never wrong and has never failed her, but for the first time this adorable small Pathfinder felt something was wrong… It was almost like… something was gnawing at her…

The mind was arisen from within him. His situation was off though, and soon  discovered he was no longer what he thought he once was... The lowest of all life. With the only belonging of his, he shall go on a journey to discover himself and get a new identity. A vow to top all Legends-

“Hey-, have you heard!?”

“?”

“The thing on the NEWS! The City of Legends!”

“Those are lies, its clickbait...”

“No! It’s really true! They say countless legends are born every day! The impossible is possible in that city! The attraction is huge!”

“Huh?”

“Bro we must visit! Don’t you know all the recent stories everyone are talking about originated from there! ‘Twisting Heaven and Earth’, ‘The Legendary Flyswatter’, ‘Demonic Scare of the Heavens’, ‘The Legendary Food Thief’, and so much more! Come on, we might be able to witness one with our own eyes!”

“What!? Those are from there!? Frick! Why did you keep quiet!??”

Author Notes- This novel was written for writing prompt #48 Evolution. This novel is basically about a character who starts off as the lowest of all life forms, he needs to hit certain requirements to evolve. The tasks wind up making him famous. Unlike my other novel, ‘Stage 2 Initializing : Welcome to Planet Iris’, this topic I will actually enjoy writing honestly, so I will also focus on this novel more. Schedule for now is a guaranteed 14 chapters weekly. I will try to hit at least 1 chapter a day. There may be extra chapters some days, depending on how much I write.
