My Dearest Aurora
 A trip down memory lane can be really hurting sometimes, and in a way, pretty joyful and ecstatic. Making memories with friends and loved ones matter a lot. One thing life has taught us, is that nothing that comes, lasts forever. There's a whole lot of people in this world who have come and gone. Some dead, some a million miles away, and one-tenth with no idea of where you're at. But still, the memories you have of them still remain a part of you, just like the ones the man in our poem made vivid description of. He remembers those days when he and his partner we'd go about creating memories; memories they vowed never to forget. And despite their separation, he still never let go of his promises. And so hoped that one day, their love story will be renewed again....

Can You Really Tell When Demons Walk Amongst Us?
 The evil that has befallen the world has conceived a far bigger problem than any human has ever imagined. The poem "PAINED", centers more on the evil that has eaten deep into the society at large. Now, the girl child is posed with a threat; a threat that has brought greater concern , not only to them but to everyone around them, Even children are not spared: And this demonic operation is yet to be stopped and our fears are increased with each passing day, just as depicted in this poem. 
 The poet personae here, a victim of circumstance if I should say, was brutally assaulted by devils that call themselves beings, Even in her awkward state, they showed no concern nor any iota of pity towards her. Her pride and comfort were all stripped away in just a day. If only she could tell what would become of her.....

5-BLEEDING SOUL
When Danger Lurks
 Can you tell when danger lurks in our midst? NO! This poem portrays the demons of the night. They come matching in, with the aim of killing every newborn in their path; "pure blood", as they call them, They posed a big threat to them and so needed to be eliminated at once, else they grew stronger. They left the night filled with their blood, and the tears of their mother, dripping at their loss - It was one dreadful night, to remember!


6-FOR YOU MY LOVE
To My Love
 In this 6th poem of mine, the poet personae strongly believes he's capable of doing anything just to prove his undying love for that precious woman that makes his heart beat. And he goes forward into saying he'll do anything just to please her, no matter what it takes....


7-I WILL NEVER LET GO
Loving Ayana
 Love like they say, conquers all. A gift given to us by God, for he gave his only son to us. But in this aspect, we'll be looking at another kind of love. A burning love, possessed by the poet personae himself, who loved his wife so dear. But as a result of the unfolding scene, he lost her to another man as we assumed, leaving him in pains. Despite all that, he still longed to see her, and hoped she'd come back to him, even at the brink of death- Some love so hard to find!


8-VICTORY
Envision
 There is no greater joy than the hearing of ones name on every lips. A name always to be remembered and never to be forgotten. A name to be carried on from generation to generation. The poet personae, pictures this in his mind and wished so much it would become a reality, so some day he'd be heard, and celebrated by everyone....


9-A MOTHER'S TEARS
A Mother's Loss
 The first part of this poem narrates how a mother loses her child. A child she had longed hoped for, only for him to end up at death's horrific embrace.
 The second part, titled "Death Eater", describes how little children were taken away so soon from their mothers' grip, as they wept and mourned in pains....


10-A PENITENT'S VOICE
A Cry For Mercy
Dear Lord,
I look up to you,
and with thine heart,
seek your salvation;
praying that you'd hear my voice,
and the voice of your children from whence you're seated
On your heavenly throne

Holy Lord,
we assemble in your presence,
our knees kissing your holy grounds,
crying and calling out to you;
so we may be purged,
and washed wholly with hyssop,
So our hearts be cleansed,
and our mind put at ease....

 The poet personae here is no different from sinners. He goes pleading for mercy, praying that he gets another chance and be cleansed from every iniquity he has committed. We can make reference to our biblical, David, who'd committed a thousand sin to count but was yet forgiven and made pure again....

When did it start to get this cold? The change of time? The change of day? Season? The coldness in the air reminds me of a poem. I know this poem, by heart, soul, and mind. This poem has stuck by me, for no apparent reason at all. It reminded me so much of my life, yet there was nothing lively about it. 

I kept my eyes on the ceiling, the emptiness of it, the lonely colour of white. I've had countless thoughts whilst staring at this ceiling, the calming atmosphere of complete nothingness has left me numb, bored, and unsatisfied. 

I stared at the ceiling but the image of my room itself came into mind, another empty place. Bed, floor, cupboard. Nothing more, nothing less. It's weird to imagine that this is usually a place where you could see one's entire life and personality. For example it the room was messy, you would be able to describe the one living there as messy, lazy or unmotivated. In my room, there was just an endless amount of space.

The sound of the front door opening then banging shut, made me jumpy. I could hear the thumps of his heavy feet meeting the floor, the sound became thicker, I could hear his movement. My body became agitated, my heart slowly thumped, as loud as his footsteps. Anything worse than your heart beating incredibly fast, it's when you feel as if your heart has completely stopped beating. That was happening right now, I could feel him standing just a few feet away from my room's door. The seconds felt like hours, I closed my eyes. Mentally I counted, slower than ever were the numbers that my inner speech countered. 5...6...7... Then finally his presence moved as if he had made up his mind.

I was in the clear tonight, I didn't have to worry about my face the next morning or the pains the next day would bring. I was in the clear because I have done exactly what he wanted me to. Get home, cook up dinner, clean up, sett his warmed food with a beer or two beside it. I'd place his dinner on the small table next to his favourite armchair. With the TV sett on the sports channel, a few feet away from him. By the time he gets home, everything goes quiet, and still and I disappear for the night so he could imagine that it was just him. That was how he wanted it, that was how he got it. 

I was scared to death by my father, he wasn't like most. He is a drunkard, abusive asshole and if I could disappear, I would. I would go anywhere, anywhere in the fucking world as long as it means that he was far behind me.

Even though I was safe for the night, my heart still broke as I thought about him. I had disowned him a long time ago, he wasn't my father. He was just a cruel person that I was stuck with. I had a year left. A year then I'd be free of him. It's quite sad to think that most teenage girls fear that their boyfriends are cheating or that they're getting too fat for their favourite jeans while I, on the other hand, fear the man who's supposed to be my father. 

I guess that's why I've become so cold, now at home, I was a weakling, I was scared, helpless rat but at school. At school I was different, I didn't have time for shit, I didn't have time to worry about boys or fashion. 

I was as stuck as... well just stuck. Too young to run, too broken to fix, too unloved to love. I almost laughed at my words, so sentimental. I laughed yet again, the sad hopeless kind of laugh the one you make just before you're about to cry. 

When did it get so cold? When did everything just go numb? I can't remember when my heart broke, I can't remember when the cracks froze. I only woke up with one thought.

Get out of this town, Dakota. Get out.

I was going to do that, just that, that's when I worried about my grades, that's when I got a job, that was when I grew up. So whether it is cold or numb or so absolutely terrifying I was going to make it past this winter. This storm, this horror. 

When did it get this cold? 

When she left me when she condemned me to my hell. 

I love how dark it gets, 

how the days suddenly get shorter.

The way the sky is always grey,

seeking in its own shadows.

How the air nips at your numb nose,

as you see your breath. 

But mostly how, 

it's the season of 

death.

I whispered the poem out loud, quietly. It's words stung, but those words were not my fate. I was gonna get out, death wasn't an option. You live with the shit you got so I was either gonna be free or die trying. There sure as hell isn't going to be a reason for me to stay.

Yu's reading was somewhat smooth as he had read this poem before, he was nervous that he would mess it up and everyone would have to read it too, this would make him the hated kid in the class! As he finished reading the poem, he closed the book and sat down as the students were sincerely surprised, even Amanda was. She expected him to be nervous and read it wrong so she can have the whole class read it again, as she did last week. But this was good enough for now, she just nodded and resumed her lessons like nothing happened at all.

When class ended, Yu was greeted by Nao Tomori and Jojiro Takajo, both of them invited him to the student council room. And by invited I mean forced him to come, when he entered the room... There they were, three teachers, standing there in the middle of the room, not suspicious at all. "So... What's happening here?" Yu asked as he looked at the teachers, he knew only two of them, the blond guy and the red-haired woman, but this guy... Who's this guy, he has grey hair and great eyes, he looks more like a wolf than a human, his whole body gives this feeling of being in the presence of s predator. "From now on you are a member of the student council too. You see, this school was built to protect those who have powers from becoming experiments." Tomori answered.

Yu almost snickered, becoming experiment? Isn't that just a thing that happens in movies? And how the hell would they find him? 

"I know what you're thinking." Suddenly, the wolf-man said, his grey eyes locking on Yu's brown eyes. "It is in the lines of 'Isn't that just a thing that happens in movies? And how the hell would they find me?' right?" Yu was truly shocked, does this guy know how to read minds!? "No. i can't read minds... I can read bodies and reactions. The body reacts to every thought, emotion, or even a blink can mean more than a thousand words." The man smirked, it was a wolfish smile and Yu could see the man's canines and they were big... Bigger than a normal human. "But let me tell you something, you will be part of this council because there is no other option. To keep you safe, this school safe. All you need to do is investigate rumors of people using their abilities, so you may reach out to them and warn them, or even capture them if necessary." 

The man locked eyes with the other two teachers in the room, he smiled softly and said: "So you may not become an experiment too." Yu soon understood... This man was an experiment... "You would be lucky to end up like them," Tomori said, from behind him. "My brother still hasn't recovered." Yu was about to say something when the doors swung open and another student entered the room. Yu was shocked and jump scared by the student, who was soaking wet. He ignored everyone around him and pointed towards the table when he was near it, his hand just above the map on the table. When he suddenly said: "Power: X-Ray." After saying that, he left.

Yu looked around as everyone didn't find it strange at all and were looking at the table. "It seems like you have another mission." The blond guy smiled as Tomori sighed and Takajo smiled. Yu could do nothing but follow, as it was the rules, and he would be expelled if he didn't cooperate.
