Yrrah just took a quick shower, blower dries her hair, applied a face powder, and lip tint. She wore a royal blue off-shoulder cocktail dress, paired with a silver stilettoes sandals.

Aeron was already waiting in the living room. He's dashing on his emerald green long-sleeve polo and Barbie on his red short-sleeve polo designed with The Grinch. They went to their backyard.

There's fifteen 10-seater round table, covered by the white table cloth. Each table with a sleek glass flower vase with a red rose on it. It's probably the roses that Arron gave her. It's almost fully occupied by families of their employees. Both adults and children were wearing their Sunday's best clothes. She couldn't believe how their five housemaids not including her yaya, driver, gardener, and two security guards have big families. It seemed to have more than 100 people on their backyards.

The trees around the backyard were designed with colorful lighted star-shaped parol and Christmas lights. Closer to the kitchen backdoor, the u-shaped buffet table was set up with a lot of foods on it on the middle, different drinks like juices, soft drinks, wine, and beer on the right side, and desserts of different varieties on the left side. They also built a small stage where's there's a 7-foot Christmas tree and a lot of wrapped gifts for all the kids and for game prizes. The table in front of the stage was reserved for her, her yaya as she didn't have any other family member, and her friends. Christmas songs also add a warm ambiance to their party.

Cez, the emcee, announced her name when she spotted her. The guest stood up and welcome her by clapping their hands. She walked to the stage with Aeron guiding her. The emcee gave the microphone to her for a welcome speech.

"Good evening, everyone. Hi kids! It's an honor joining you once again after more than a decade," she started. After mother died, she only attended that Christmas party once and she never joined the following years.

"I'm actually happy seeing each one of you with a bright smile on your lips. I hope you will enjoy this evening and filled your heart with blessings as we celebrate the birthday of our Savior Jesus Christ. I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a bountiful New Year. Let's enjoy the food after Yaya Fe says the prayer." She passed the microphone to her yaya and she led the prayer to bless the food.

Each table was numbered also to be organized in getting the food. It started with them. She was actually surprised by how beautiful the buffet table was set up as well as the food. It seemed that it was prepared by a professional chef not just their cook, Manang Eva.

"Yaya, did Manang Eva cooked all these foods?" she asked her yaya who's in front of her.

"No. Some foods and desserts were brought by each family. It's always potluck. But it's just extra special this year as we've been helped by someone to organize it," her yaya explained.

She just nodded and got a spoonful of each kind of food to taste it. There's even some baked salmon and lobsters, which are her favorite. When she tried it, the taste was so delicious and familiar to her but she couldn't remember in which restaurant that she actually had it.

While they're eating, the emcee asked the children, "Kids, who do you know who is our special guest?"

The kids answered in unison, "Santa Clause!" She remembered that their gardener, Lolo Aries, played Santa Clause before as he's a huge man with a big tummy. He's probably in his sixties now. There are probably around 30 kids from newborns to teenagers present on the occasion right now.

"Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas!" The kids cheered when Santa came out from the kitchen backdoor, shaking a tambourine, to catch the attention of everyone. He's tall, with a big tummy, red hat and suit, white eyebrows, and long white beard. He waved when he stood up the stage.

"Ho! Ho! Ho! Kiddos, have you been good all year?" he asked.

"Yes!" the kids replied.

"Raised the hands of those who've naughty?"

The kids raised the hand.

"So, then you don't have any gifts for you! Ho! Ho! Ho!"

"No, Santa! We're good kids!" the kids' complaint, then giggled.

"Let's see if you're on my list then." He got a roll of paper in his pocket. The kids laughed as it's been so long. Then, sat down on the big chair in the middle of the stage.

Yrrah also chuckled with Santa's act. It's been a long time since she spoke with Lolo Aries and his voice seemed different from what she remembered. But she knew that he's quite a joker.

Cez called the name of the kids and her husband handed Santa the gift to be given to the kid. The kids sat on his lap and the parents took a picture.

A genuine smile on Yrrah's lips was painted since she saw Santa. Her heart was filled with joy seeing the happy face of the kids and adults alike. Christmas is always her favorite holiday, no matter what.

After all the kids received their gift. The emcee called her to join Santa on the stage. She stood up beside Santa. He actually offered her his seat but she refused with respect.

"Thanks but no thanks, Santa," she whispered to him.

The emcee called the name of their employee and their family will join them on the stage. Yrrah handed them a red envelope. It's their Christmas bonus and Santa gave them a huge basket full of groceries. They also took a picture with her and Santa.

When each family has been done. Yrrah was about to go down the stage when Santa spoke on the microphone.

"Do you think our señorita here had been good this year?"

"Yes!" everyone yelled. Yrrah giggled like a child.

"I'm not a kid anymore, I might be too heavy for you, Santa," she said as she gave him a glimpse.

"Yes! Señorita, he can carry you!" the kids shouted.

Yrrah giggled and she felt her cheeks heat. She didn't want to be kill joyed on this occasion and she thought it's probably fine without malice. He's like her grandfather anyway. "Okay, you win," she told the kids.

She sat down on lap sideways, fixing her dress, and Santa wrapped her arms around her waist to support her. She looked up to him to meet his glances, and the sweet smile suddenly vanished from her lips like bubbles that popped before our very eyes, when she met his whiskey-colored eyes.

Her heart skipped a beat and she could hear it pounding like a drum roll. She also froze on her spot as if the wizard cast a statute spell on her.

Santa's reddish lips widened for a mischievous smile. "Our senorita said she wanted a kiss from Santa. Should I grant her wish?" he asked the people.

Both kids and adults alike laughed and yelled, "Yes! Kiss! Kiss!" Except for Aeron who unconsciously stood up to protest.

Yrrah eyes widen in disbelief and before she could react, she felt his lips touched her skin.

         The kids are going wild all around in their rooms, the kitchen, the living room, and even some in the bathroom. That's gonna be fun to clean up. Today is Christmas eve and the kids are actually excited to go to bed for the first time in their whole lives.If today is the eve than that means tomorrow is, yep you guessed it, Christmas. A day where families gather together and have fun and share warmth together. For the kids, not so much, all they care about is how many presents they get and some of them might be excited to play with little cousins on the day. Today would've been a good day to get a dog for the whole family but no, Jackson decides he would get a dog that is white named CoCo. Not for the whole family, but for Youngjae only. I mean i love the dog now but he's still very much annoying.
      Of course me and Jackson went out Christmas shopping before that actual date this year so we weren't late for our own Christmas party, like we always are. And no we didn't leave the kids at home without a babysitter like we did maybe once. It was a day we thought Jinyoung and ** could take care of the younger kids with no problem, seeing as how responsible they are. Well let's just say it didn't work out as we thought it would. When we got back Jinyoung was missing and ** was having a mental breakdown because BamBam brought home a hairless cat. That was an eventful day, but never again. So while we were out seeking presents for our wonderful children, Jackson's mom volunteered to watch the kids. She really didn't have to but she insisted. Maybe she missed squeezing their soft round cheeks like grandma's do. 
     This year the kids would actually get more than one gift from us because of Jackson's new job. He got a new job a while ago and sometimes I hate it because he comes home really late sometimes and leaves me alone with the kids when he leaves for work. It's worth it though, having to see your children's bright smiles and cute giggles when they open something that isn't socks or an orange. We got BamBam and Yugyeom the same things but we only got one, because if we bought two then they would never use it. Their weird cause it's like they share everything with each other, maybe even their brains. They got art supplies because they've been very creative these days and a fake telephone. Well that's what they asked for specifically a fake phone so they could call random people without bothering mommy and daddy. They got what they wanted and of course they would get other stuff because of other family, but we have a lot of kids so that does it for us.
     We thought it would be funny to give Jinyoung and ** underwear as a prank. So they'll see all the other kids getting good stuff and then they just get underwear. Flash forward, and they literally don't give a single donkey booty. They just set it aside and waited for everything else. Anyway back to other things they got. Since their basically teens now, they got video games and stuff like that. Another thing they asked for was cardboard boxes, straight up cubical cardboard. Who asks for that especially if their 11 and 12, the mystery goes on.
      Youngjae got a giant teddy bear that we thought he would like, and he asked for dinosaur slippers. That's the most normal thing any of the kids has ever asked for, for Christmas. We were lucky to have at least one normal kid, but maybe we didn't want one. At least Jackson's fine with it. He is like a child so of course he doesn't. And maybe because Youngjae is his favorite and he's willing to do anything for him, he might die one day. 
     The next morning when the kids wake up they open their presents. They look so happy already to just see them. They look so thankful and it made Jackson and me happy for how sweet and little they look. Out of all the days in the year this day is when all the kids get along perfectly, that's what I love about Christmas. 
      Later in the day and people are already coming over while Mark is cooking dinner and Jackson is looking at the photos of the kids we took this morning. The first people that come through the door is Mark's brother and his two little kids. One's a girl and her name is Jisoo,  she's so cute and pretty. The other one is a boy and his name is Jungkook. He is really handsome for his age. He has to be at least as old as Yugyeom. Jisoo is younger though but she seems to get along with the other kids just fine. Mark's brother decides to sit down with Jackson and have a little bro bond, but then Jackson might've freaked him out when he was excited to show him baby pictures. Mark's brothers wife was nice and she was a well put together lady. Her name was Mina. She walked to Mark to help him make some pie for dinner. She looked happy to help, so Mark let her. Across the room Mark saw Jackson get up and go to their room, probably to get more pictures. He asked Mina to take care of the cooking and that he was gonna check on the kids but he walked to where Jackson disappeared to. "Hey" he whispered to Jackson while he was looking through pictures of BamBam and Yugyeom. He jumped, he always gets so scared of everything and he wasn't even doing anything suspicious.
 "Were you cheating on me with my brother or do you show baby pictures to everyone?"
       Jackson looked scared at the question and he raised his hands in the air in surrender "No i would never do that, i'm just excited". He said sounding scared but playful. "Come on let's go before someone gets worried" Mark grabbed Jackson hand and pulled him out of the room dropping the baby pictures as he did.
      The next people to come were Mark's dad and Jackson's mom and sister. Marks mom didn't come though and this made Jackson suspicious. He went up to talk to Mark while he was gathering things to set up the little table for the kids. "Why didn't your mom come?" he asks while Mark drags the table from BamBam and Yugyeom's room. 
    "Because you know why" Mark said while struggling to get the table out so Jackson lifted it for him.
     "I know but-never mind" Jackson said as he put the table down to talk to his sister. Jackson knew Mark and his mom didn't get along very well but he knew she probably would've wanted to see the kids again after such a long time. It was a shame she never get to see them a lot in their lives. She didn't even get to watch them grow up. He brushed it off as everyone was sat down and ready for Christmas dinner.

      Dinner was done and most everyone has left except for Mark's brother and his wife because their kids don't want to ever stop playing with all of the boys. They all got along really well, maybe too well because by the time dinner was done that whole table that Mark sat them at was covered in mashed potatoes and chicken. It looks like they had a food fight but they really didn't because Mark kept an eye on them the whole time. This is what kids do. 
     Everyone has left the house and Mark and Jackson are cleaning up while the kids play with their new toys they got today before they go to bed. They look like they don't ever want to stop but Mark sees that they are tired and puts them to bed. Just like any night they put up a fight but with very weak enthusiasm. As soon as they hit their beds they're out and Mark's just happy they got the day over with. He walks to his room after it's dead silent, to see when he enters Jackson hugging Youngjae's giant teddy bear that he forgot to bring after he left it in here. Jackson was fast asleep and Mark didn't want to wake him so he cuddled on the other side of the bed and watched before he finally felt tired and dozed off to sleep. You know parents might not get any presents for Christmas but seeing their kids happy is the best gift they could ever get, anytime of year.

Mark and Jackson have a difficult but fun life taking care of their five kids that all completely different in their own way.

It was a white Christmas morning in the buzzing house of the Lee family. The kids woke up an hour earlier than usual. They were excited and thrilled knowing that today was the 24th of December. Soeul, Daeul, Se Ho and Ali were excited to spend Christmas with their family and Friends. Mrs. Lee was kind enough to let the children invite their orphan friends from school. The children were ecstatic, they had planned everything for their friends, they had asked Mrs. Lee if it was alright for their friends to spend the night, and Mrs. Lee had agreed. The children hurriedly went to their rooms and arranged it. Se Ho and Ali were decorating every nook and cranny of their rooms for their friends.
Sarang was busy in the kitchen. She was cutting, boiling, mixing and doing cleaning for tonight's dinner. She was happy that she was home for Christmas. And even though just for today or how long she was going to stay, she wanted to do all the work in the kitchen, she wanted her mother to take a break after taking care of four kids all by herself. She felt sorry for her mother, true that her mother has the children to keep her company, but it was still lonely without her husband. Her mom was strong, but it was evident in her eyes that she missed her husband and son, and had wished that they be here for Christmas. After coming home from the hospital they had received a letter from Donggeun saying that he could not come for Christmas due to some emergency back at the military camp, during dinner Mrs. Lee had received a call from her husband saying that he would not be able to come home for Christmas because of some paper works that were due this 25th. Mrs. Lee was a strong woman, and although she was disappointed in not having her son and husband on Christmas, she still held on to that smile and content with having her daughter and the children with her. 
Today was the day that Hye Rin would be discharged from the hospital, she was happy to know that she was still able to celebrate Christmas with her new family. She felt a pang in her heart, she was missing her real family so much, It had been 2 years since she came to Korea and left her family, and she still misses them terribly. Hye Rin was excited about going home to the Lee residence, she had asked Daniel if it was alright to drive her back to her apartment for the presents, and Daniel had agreed, She was thankful that Daniel hadn't left her side all through the night, he had been caring and affectionate towards her that she couldn't help but feel butterflies in her stomach and her heart fluttering. 
Everything was set and they were ready to go, Daniel knowing that some cameras would be flashed their way had prepared an exit an hour prior to Hye Rin's discharge. 
"Are you ready?" Daniel asked, "Yeah, let's go home Daniel" Hye Rin said with happiness and excitement evident in her eyes. Daniel held Hye Rin's hand and supported her waist on the other; they had both been wearing black snapback caps just in case someone recognizes them. Fortunate for Daniel his plan worked and it was then smooth driving towards Hye Rin's apartment and to the Lee Residence.
 
"Hello?" "Sarang, we'll be stopping by Hye Rin's apartment for a while to pick up some presents for the kids, can you tell Mrs. Lee?" "Sure okey dokey no problemo Dan Dan" Sarang had received a call from Daniel notifying her that they would be late for lunch. 
"Mom, Daniel, and Hye Rin would be late for lunch they'll be picking up some presents for the kids" Sarang relayed to her mother, "That's okay, let's just leave them some food then.." Mrs. Lee said with a brilliant smile on her face. Hours later and in came Daniel and Hye Rin, "Finally, took you guys long enough" Sarang greeted them by the door, "Sorry, we got caught in traffic" Hye Rin said apologetically, they were greeted by the pounding of tiny feet coming towards them. Soeul happily greeted both Hye Rin and Daniel. 
Daeul was slowly coming down the stairs, Daniel quickly took the little boy in his arms and twirled him in the air. "If I hadn't known you guys I'd say Daniel is their real father" Sarang whispered to Hye Rin, They were having so much time catching up with each other and busy preparing for the said Christmas dinner.
A knock on their door was heard and Daniel volunteered to open it, what he was quite surprised with what he saw, there stood by their doorstep six children looking surprised with mouth agape looking directly at him, "Do you know Se Ho and Ali?" a liitle boy asked, "Andi!" Se Ho was standing behind Daniel smiling widely at his friend by the doorstep.
 Daniel opened the door wide to welcome the children, Hye Rin was standing at the hallway smiling at the kids and welcoming them all the while greeting them a merry Christmas. The children were having fun playing games, eating cookies; even the little girls were bombarding Daniel with tons of questions.

The girls were having so much time being around Daniel, "Daniel it's time for dinner" Hye Rin approached him and said gently while smiling at the kids, Daniel nodded and led the little ones to the dining table, everyone was seated, and looking around the table happily, 
"I'd like to propose a toast" Mrs. Lee said, "I'm happy you kids are here, Sarang came home from Malaysia, Daniel came to spend Christmas with us, Hye Rin is safe and sound after the accident, I really wished that Mr. Lee and Donggeun was here to celebrate this with us," She added with tears brimming in her eyes, "Well it's a bit disappointing to come home in Christmas empty handed right?" Sarang decided to cut in, everybody nodded hesitatingly confused of what Sarang would be talking about, "Well then I've prepared a huge present for my mom, Ali, Se Ho would you please bring the present here, it's right outside the house" Sarang asked with a huge knowing smile brimming on her face.

This was by far the greatest present and miracle that ever happened in their lives. Everyone was happy, together with friends, family, and the ones they love.

Lynel : Ha, ha you have a nice voice Uncle even though I didn't understand anything

Tae : Same to you Lynel and do you mind to tell me how old are you?

Lynel : Of course I will, he, he I will be turning 5 around June next year together with my older sister Ellyn. Well the two of us are identical twins so if you will see us you might confuse who is who.

Tae : Yeah, I heard it from Rei. Well let's see that someday if I will be confuse who is who.

Lynel : Ha, ha, ha of course you will Uncle. My Dad and Mom are still confuse who is who. Mama Grand, Aunt Rei and Aunt Mei are the one who would never confuse who is who

Tae : I see but what if Uncle might get it right?

Lynel : You're going to challenge it Uncle?

Tae : I will try, so what's the price if I get it right?

Lynel : A kiss on checks from me but wait how do I kiss you Uncle if I'm here and you there?


Tae : Well let's just think that one when it comes.

Lynel : Aahh, that's right, that's right Ah by the way Uncle?

Tae : Mmm, what is it Lynel?

Lynel : I, Sis Ellyn, Bro Ken, Bro Ren and Auntie Rei will be going for a walk tomorrow or maybe shopping since Aunt Rei just got back after almost three years since she's away with us.

Tae : You must really miss your Auntie that much right?

Lynel : Uh-uh, imagined Aunt Rei left us when I and Sis Ellyn just turn 2 that year.

Tae : I see but your Aunt never miss a video call every week.

Lynel : Uh-uh but it's kind of different, I mean I can talk to Auntie but talking personally is different because I can hug and kiss Aunt Rei.

December came, and the entire Kawayan City was almost close to be rebuilt and restored. Despite the rebuilding process, Christmas decorations are hung and attached onto lamp posts, footbridges, and other places. This is not just something that the residents and temporary residents would make them cheered up and happy, after Red Eye nearly obliterated their beloved and historical city, but a national holiday the Philas region declared ever since the founding of the region. The traditional European-style and Asian-style homes and buildings are among the first to be finished rebuilt and now adorned with decorations. Christmas caroling are everywhere; Christmas foods and drinks are at almost every table of almost every happy families; and, lastly, the entire 16-foot Christmas tree at the center of Kawayan City's largest plaza was now in construction, expecting to be finished before Christmas eve.
   But, for a kid like Rico, it's a season of joy and happiness and harmony. One morning, as people and their Pokémon cooperate with each other to prepare for the holidays, Rico jumped from his bed in his normal house clothes with joy, while his Pokémon woke up slowly and quietly. Rico ran across the room and opened the curtains, then the window, showing the spirit of Christmas being presented everywhere in the city and its outskirts. He then inhaled, feeling the cool, clean breeze blowing across the neighborhood.
   "Man, it's Christmas, one of the most joyous seasons of the year," he thought in mind. "Just like every year." He then turned around to his Pokémon with a positive attitude and look, and said, "Are you ready today?" Seeing the positivity of their beloved Trainer, Riolu, Litleo, and Piplup responded with excitement. Then, suddenly, Rosario called them for breakfast, with a note to eat up while it's still hot and delicious. With joy, Rico and his Pokémon opened the door of their room and exited, swinging the door back in normal speed, not shutting it.
   Downstairs, Rosario was serving food and drinks on the table covered with a red, blue, and white textile cloth. Lucas was positive, reading in his daily newspaper, having received his Christmas bonus from his boss a few days ago. Rico and his Pokémon ran downstairs and gathered around the table, greeting them good morning. 
   "Good morning, son," Lucas greeted him back. His Magneton then responded in greeting. Riolu and Piplup then responded in greeting. Rico then grabbed his spoon and fork and eat up, so as to his Pokémon to their special food.
   "So today's December, isn't?" Rico asked them in positive comment.
   "Yes, it's December 1st," Rosario answered him as she served breakfast. She then sat down and eat up. The atmosphere was warm and lovely, even it's a bit cooling due to the winds. Today is Saturday.
   "So what's your plans for today?" Lucas asked his son. Rico think for a while, and then answered his father, "I'm going to have a battle with Kolen, and I...uh...." He then think again.
    "You wanna help me make butter and Christmas cookies this afternoon?" Rosario suggested something helpful.
   "Sure! Okay then," Rico responded back upon hearing her. "Then, I'll meet up with my friends at Santiago's house this morning."
   "Okay then, son," Lucas responded in agreement. Then, suddenly, a group of kids appeared to their gate, with their simple and homemade instruments, and started caroling for money, a tradition that the locals had kept for generations. Their voices were jolly and young, and most from poor, yet happy families. Upon hearing them from the outside, the family and their Pokémon went outside and opened the gate to see them. The singing was so good and filled with joy and Christmas spirits. The family and their Pokémon are amazed with emotional feelings of cuteness and pity happiness, as like to say "aww....." A minute had passed and when the kids had finished singing with instrument sounds, the Cruz family applause their performance and each of them gave 500 Pokédolllars to each of the kids.
   "Merry Christmas, kids," they greeted them. Accepting the money happily, the kids greeted them together, "Thank you, thank you, Merry Christmas!" They then left the property with satisfaction. 
    Later after breakfast and preparing for the day, by 8:59 a.m., Rico went out with his Pokémon in their Poké Balls to Santiago's house, which is half a kilometer away from his house, and requires an easy, yet memorizing route. So, for Rico, having memorized the route for a long time, turn left, past 3 houses, then turn sharp right, pass two more houses and a little shop, and he's at his friend's house in less than 30 minutes. Upon approaching the front porch door, Rico knocked on it a few times, and then Santiago came and opened the door as answer.
   "Oh, Rico, good morning," he greeted him brightly. Two of Rico's other classmates are already inside, eating, chatting, and playing games.
   "Good morning to you as well," Rico happily greeted him back, "and Merry Christmas." He then come in and Santiago closed the door normally. Inside the house in the living room, Rico greeted his friends, and called his Riolu and Litleo out of their Poké Balls and they stepped into the scene in positivity. Then in turn, the Pokémon of his classmates, Pikipek and Bulbasaur, greeted them. Riolu and Litleo then responded back with greeting. Santiago came out of the kitchen with a glass of water and a plate of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and crackers and served it to his friends. Rico then get some cookies and eat it with delight, so as his Pokémon to the crackers, eating it with delight. And as he sat down on the couch, Santiago asked Rico a question, "So, what is your schedule for today?"
   "Well, after this I'll have a battle with Kolen," Rico announced his plans for today, "then I'll go to the mall to buy a gift for my uncle Lester, and this afternoon, I'll help mom making cookies."
   "Wow, that was amazing and noble," his friends commented in amazement and approval.
   "Yeah, but-" Rico replied.
   "Wait! Wait! Guys, I had something to tell you," interrupted Raymond immediately with news.
    "What is it?" Lauro responded in confusion.
    "According to last night's news," Raymond told them, "there will be a storm coming from the east and it will hit us by tomorrow." This news stopped them from playing and turned their attentions towards it.
   "What? Really?" his friends asked in response.
   "Yes," Raymond continued on seriously, "and  this morning, it made its landfall on the eastern beaches of the small peninsula of Leron and the city of Galen." Galen is a coastal beach city and where the 5th gym, a Water-type, is located.
   "Are you serious?" Rico responded back in retorting.
    "Yes, I am," replied Raymond back, "and it might spoil our fun for Christmas." Calming down, Rico replied, "Oh, I see." He then think for a while, "A storm? Tomorrow? Oh, no, it's bad. It might ruin our fun. But I'll just have to wait until next morning." But the question is: Will he adapt the news for tomorrow and accept it, or not? Surely today's schedule would distract him from all that anxious news about a storm.

This is the fiction story of an ordinary kid, who had humble beginnings, and aspire to become a strong Pokemon trainer. And along the way, he will meet new people, Pokémon, places, and even travel to other strange places where his true identity will slowly unfold, and new skills to acquire.

After we decorated my home and our three big gigantic trees i was very exhausted,
But soon as i closed my eyes i felt a puddle of water on my face and shirt ."Come on lets go we have to buy toys so we can take them to the kids"
 Noah said, after we finished getting the toys it was time to checkout and bag everything up. i spotted Gunter and some girl at the store so i tried to avoid him as much as i could. until i felt someone grab my arm and i punched them hard in the face 
"ouchh" Noah said oh my goshhhh i'm so sorry, i kissed his cheek to ask for forgiveness. 
"Dam girl you can aim" Noah said. I chuckled. after we loaded up the truck we headed to the special hospital that help kids and we passed out all of the presents, Noah and i read christmas stories to them, Kristi got Eric to dress up as santa , we all drank hot chocolate and watch every little kid tell us a great story about their lives , Noah also had an idea to give the parents christmas cards since they have to spend days,months and weeks at a hospital .and Kristi and Eric donated to help the kids get proper treatment. "Hi can i take a picture with you guys" said Amy SURE why not Noah and i both said . "Do you guys have any kids together yet" Amy asked. umnnn we're nnnnot together i said to Amy , "well you guys should be, he looks at you like he loves you and you does the same" a little boy name Dean said softly. Noah and i smiled. Heyyyy you guys are young what you know about love, we hugged everyone and left, I think this was the best part of christmas so far just seeing these little kids faces and letting them open their gifts and take pictures everything was so perfect ,Thankyou Blanca for putting this day together for me, for us it really means a lot. Noah said he leaned in and hugged me. Well actually tonight is not over you want to get take out go to your home and watch christmas movies Noah asked , No i want to get take out go to your home and watch christmas movies we both smiled at each other.

John Newman and Amelia Colette has plans to go to college and spend their lives together after high school but when  a traumatic life changing event occur it will cause their whole worlds to come crashing down.

VOLUME THREE: CHRISTMAS SALVATION 
Two weeks before Christmas

John Watson put his cup of coffee down on the granite countertop and reached over to answer the wall phone, "Hello?"
"Hi Dad. How are you?" 
"I'm fine, Jen. How's the weather there in sunny Florida?" he asked as he picked up his cup of coffee and took a leisurely sip.
"We're all fine, Dad. But I have some bad news. Since I took so much time off from work when Mom was sick, then more for the funeral, and Thanksgiving, my company won't approve any more time off for me. They've already had to make some cutbacks due to overall economics, too. So Cameron and I talked about it and we're not going to be able to come home for Christmas this year. Dad, I'm really sorry," she said, rushing her words.
He thought he heard some hesitation in her voice and pulled out a chair to sit at the table. "I understand dear. With the price of gas and air fare these days, I don't think as many people will be traveling for the holidays as before." He stared out the window watching a Cardinal settle at the bird feeder for breakfast, surprised the bird was still hanging around this time of year.
"Well, the kids are getting older now too, Dad, and you know how that goes. They want to stay home and be with their friends." The slight annoyance in her voice was obvious.
"That's good too. It's about time you and Cameron started making some of your own holiday traditions anyway. Don't you worry about me, if that's your concern." He took another sip of his coffee.
"Dad, why don't you come here for Christmas? I know how you hate those brutal Ohio winters." 
He chuckled. "I would, but you know how hard it is to get away from the farm. These cows don't feed themselves." 
"Have you heard from Rob and Linda?" 
"Not for a couple weeks. But they're in the same boat as you and Cameron are where economics are concerned. He missed a lot of work when your mother first got sick, and he mentioned something at Thanksgiving when everyone was here that he didn't know if they'd be able to make it back for Christmas. Air fare isn't cheap from California either," he said tapping his fingers on the table.
"Dad, I'm really sorry." 
"Now, I told you. Don't worry about me. We'll talk on the phone, and it'll be just like we're all together, okay?" he said consolingly.
"Okay, but it won't be the same. I'll talk to you soon, Dad. I love you."
"I love you too. And give my love to the kids."
"I will. Bye Dad."
"Bye, Jen." He hung up the phone, watching the cardinal at the feeder and drummed his fingers harder on the table while he fell into deeper thought. 
In nine months, a baby can be conceived and born and in nine months a lifetime of companionship erased. Nine months since his wife Liz had given up the fight to cervical cancer. Nine months of loneliness, missing a woman he had spent the last 40 years of his life with, raising a family. Nine months of long days and even longer nights.
John poured his second cup of coffee for the day, picked up the paper and sat down in his easy chair in the living room. He had fed the few remaining cattle he had and after next Saturday's sale, he'd be out of the cattle business. It had been waning for years and he'd lost interest. Now, instead of constant upkeep on the barn and farm equipment, he would spend time cooking, cleaning and laundry. None of which he minded. After all, how much food could he eat? How many dirty dishes or clothes could one man create?
Taking a sip of his too-bitter coffee he heard a knock at the back door and turned to get up. A smile lit up his face.
"Well good morning, Mrs. Stevens. How are you?" he asked as he opened his back door to his neighbor. The attractive middle-aged woman had given her older home to her son and his family and moved into the house up the road a piece about eighteen months ago to take care of her elderly mother. She had met Liz during one of her hospital stays and had become a good friend to her during her illness.
"Good morning and please call me Lydia," she said as she tried to gather her fly-away hair with her hand. 
"Then, you call me John. Come on in out of the cold wind and sit a spell. I'll make some fresh coffee," he said as he started to make his way to the sink in the kitchen.
"Well, I'll come in for a couple minutes, but, please no coffee for me. I wanted to stop and drop off this plate of Christmas cookies I baked," she said as she took a heaping plate filled with all sizes, shapes, and colors of cookies out of the huge brown paper sack. "I remember Liz telling me about how much she used to bake and with all your family coming for the holidays I thought you could use some extra," she said as she handed him the plate.
"T-Thank you, L-Lydia." Embarrassed by her kindness and generosity, he said, "You are too kind. But as it turns out neither one of the kids are going to be able to make it this year, what with gas prices and everything." He placed the cookies on the table and pulled out a chair for her.
"Oh, I'm so sorry they won't be able to come. To tell you the truth, I'm not even sure why I did so much baking this year. Course I did send some to my son Russell in Iraq, and this year his wife and kids are going to her folks for Christmas and I haven't heard from my daughter in a while," she said as she pulled a strip of her long dark hair and pushed it behind her ear. "I'm actually on my way to church. I promised I would help sew the costumes for the pageant this year. I don't know why I volunteer for these things."
"Well, I know why you do, because you're a good person. You gave up your house to take care of your ailing mother, and you do all kinds of volunteer work. We need more people like you."
"John, I have an idea," she said her eyes widening. "Come along with me today. You can help some of the kids with their lines." She clapped her hands together. "With the pageant only a week or so away there is still so much to do, painting and making the sets. We need all the help we can get," she said as he shook his head back and forth. "But why not? And what better way to get into the Christmas spirit?"
John let the bird feeder catch his attention. He didn't know how to respond. He didn't want to admit he wasn't ready to be around people. He wanted to be left alone. Alone and in his own misery. "L-Lydia, I'm not up to being around people so much right now. It's only been—"
She interrupted him. "I know. It's only been nine months since Liz died. I lost a spouse too, remember, only I didn't have as many years with my husband, Jeff, as you did with Liz. I remember the first Christmas without him; seems like only yesterday," as her eyes took on a dreamy look, "a single mom with two kids. I didn't know what to do with myself. All the usual traditions just didn't work anymore, I couldn't feel anything. The spirit of the season wasn't there."
"What'd you do?" 
"Oh, I did a lot of crying and had some big pity parties. I spent most of my time alone. I shipped the kids off to my sister's or my brother's or my parents, anyone who would take them actually," she laughed, "I think the kids thought crying and visiting aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents was what Christmas is all about."
"Well isn't it?" 
"It became that but not for another year or so. I had to let go of the past before I could move on into the future. That first year I didn't even know my kids were around and I didn't care. The next year I wanted to be around them a little bit more and then the next year I didn't want them to go visiting so much. That's when our new tradition began. I went with them visiting and family became everything. During the holiday season, every event and activity was spent all day, all night, every day, and every night, with family."
"What's wrong with that?" John asked a little befuddled and confused.
"It only lasted a few years." 
He raised an eyebrow in question. "Kids grow up," she said, laughing again.
He smiled and nodded his head in understanding.
She noticed his pale blue eyes lit up when he smiled. "They want to spend time with their friends at first, and then they have spouses and in-laws, then children and before I knew it they had their own lives and I only get visits once every year or so," she said smiling.
"I guess that's the way it goes, then," John said as he stared out the window.
