Everything changes, starting with the colors of the lights, the colder air, the gifts under the tree, the larger sweatshirts or the races to buy the latest gifts.

After lunch, everyone was called to the conference hall. It was a room having space for 40 people on a rectangle table in mid-space and small tables around. during the meeting when everyone was discussing their Christmas schemes and deals to increase the customer in their hotels.
"As we all know, special schemes and discounts are given each festival to show the value of festivities and also attracting customers. The one who will give the best idea will be rewarded. He can choose money or paid leave and it would be granted." The manager continued his speech.
Valerie who was almost asleep in a corner instantly turned serious listening about leave. Paid or not. She needs a few days to leave to go back. But she knows this pathetic man would not sanction it.
But if she gives the best idea she will automatically get one. Her eyes sparkled at the thought. On the other side, Ellie has done her own research last night to shine in the meeting and impress Leo.
"I have an idea.." The sales executive started, although Leo has made a rule that anyone can give the idea. But most ideas are given by the sales and marketing department. But before she could continue, she was cut short by Valerie. She stood up and spoke first.
"Why not we decorate all our hotels and resorts with different nativities and make Santas with small games and gifts. Children will love them so most of them urge their parents to go there." She said enthusiastically.
It is the first time Leo bad seen her working so happily. 'She definitely not need money, then...' He furrowed his brows at the thought of not seeing her for a few days. But before he could say anything.
"Well, kids are not our target market. Are they? I think we should organise a red and green theme party. We may call it Christmas Eve. But we can arrange a dance, some couple games and late-night shows for those who are dating." 
When everyone nodded, Ellie felt proud and raised her head and continued. "And we can also give discount coupons to senior citizens and a small Santa doll to children below 10 years as souvenirs"
Even Leo felt that her ideas are good, "Ellie, you have covered the people of all age groups good job."
"But these are common things, some by various hotels. We should think about something new. Like our area doesn't have snow. So why not we arrange artificial snow and give them a chance to play or make a snowman for the kids. And ice skating for the teenager it will be new for them.
We can also make Christmas theme delicacies like Santa cake and small elves pie and much more.
We can give 10℅ off on rooms and free rides to senior citizens and even organise a small your to everyone."
They nodded again at the idea and it continued, they both fought like cats to give the best idea. Everyone could feel the tension. But the question is why? Of course, they would get a bonus but ot is only slightly higher than everyone
And leaves can be taken. There is no need to fight over it. While Leo just smirked.
"The decoration should be like this..."
"That dish should be better....."
"That was the best discount schemes.."
"No, the senior citizen should be served like that..."
And it continued for almost 4 hours, way past office time.
Almost everyone is feeling sleepy, they were having a hard time sitting there looking at the two girls who would surely be more enthusiastic than Santa over Christmas.
"Good job girls, you both had given the best ideas. And even won the reward" said Leo interrupting their further discussion.
Both girls smiled a smug smile and looked at Leo then glared at each other. But his next words were more like punishment than reward.
"Since we have two rewards and two winners, each will get one. Valerie, you will have 20℅ more bonus. And Ellie you will have a week paid leave and a free stay at any hotel."
"But I don't want a bonus" 
"But I don't want leave"
Valerie and Ellie shouted at the same time but Leo ignored their protests and announced.
"Since everything is decided the meeting is adjourned." With his declaration, everyone stood up and left happily without caring for the two fuming girls.
Both blamed each other, for if the other hadn't interfered they could have got, what they want.
But before they can convince Leo, the latter was already gone
 They gritted their teeth and left the office stomping their feet.

In an abandoned warehouse outside the city.
"This is the photo of the girl, and her name is Valerie." Said a man throwing a photo on the table.
A burly man, who has a mark of the knife near his neck pick up the photo and passed it to his men standing behind him in a line.
"I want her dead, no rape or wounds. Clean dead. Better if it looks like an accident." The man who had given the photo continued.
"When and where?" Asked the burly man.
"After three days, she is going to the Nabilien forest. And accidents happen in the forests." He said with a snicker.
The burly man nodded and asked, "what about the people around her?"
"It doesn't matter, but you would only be paid for her death." He added strictly. "But don't hurt this man. He is the owner of the hotel and the boss of their group." He threw another photo on the table.
"Noted. Our advance." Said the burly man picking another photo from the table.
The man put a suitcase on the table filled with currency. The burly man checked the amount and nodded
"You will be informed one the task is completed." He said after confirming the notes.
The man nodded and left the building. The moment he came out, and entered his car. He called a number. "The task is done. You just have to wait for good news now."

Ash impatiently tapped his foot as he stared at the clock as it was only minutes away before Christmas Break would start.
"Are you alright?" Lillie whispered.
"Ring… ring… come on ring…" Ash muttered.
-Ash, I believe Lillie asked you a question. Are you not going to respond?- the Rotom Pokedex inquired.
Before anybody could say anything, the bell finally rang. Ash gave a cheerful yell as he dashed out the door, but Rowlet came tumbling out of his bag as a result. Lillie just stared as Pikachu sighed and tailed after his trainer, with Rowlet and the Rotom Pokedex soon following as well.
-Ash, I must question why it is you ran out of class like you did.- the Rotom Pokedex informed, a question mark appearing on it's screen.
"Christmas is upcoming and I need to get presents,"
-What is this… Christmas?-
"It's a holiday where you give gifts to your friends," Ash informed, "And I've got a large list I need to send presents to!"
-So why did you need to run out?-
"I haven't even started yet!"
-Ah.-
Ash had gotten out a piece of paper and scratched down the names of every one of his friends he had gone traveling with in the past and got to thinking of what he should give them. Ash had already doodled out some ideas, but was at a block for most of his friends.
-Scanning… scanning… scanning…- the Rotom Pokedex muttered as he scanned the list Ash had made, -Oh. You know Gym Leaders from Kanto, Unova and Kalos? How interesting.-

"Man… I need ideas," Ash groaned, "Hey Kukui, I'm gonna be out for a little while,"
"Alright, see you around Ash," Kukui waved as Ash headed out.
Once he made sure Ash was gone, Kukui let out a sigh as he headed downstairs into his lab and over to a desk. He took out two items and dusted them off, one being a wedding ring that hadn't been worn in years, and the other was a picture of himself with a young woman…
Back over in the Kanto Region, Mimey was presently working on dragging out a Christmas tree for the Ketchum house. He let out a slight groan and began to pull it with Psychic, but the tree refused to budge. Mimey let out a sigh as he quickly ran off and came back with Ash's Bulbasaur. Bulbasaur gave a roll of his eyes as he helped Mimey out with the tree, but it was still stuck. Both Pokemon pulled with all of their might and managed to dislodge the tree from the door, but a picture came tumbling down from the top shelf as a result. Mimey was quickly able to catch it before it fell and saw the picture was of a young male with Delia. Mimey gasped upon seeing the picture as he recognized the male in the picture.
"Bulba?" Bulbasaur blinked as Mimey made a beeline right for Oak's lab, leaving Bulbasaur to try and hold onto the Christmas tree.
"I'm glad you and Ash got that Egg to Alola, because my cousin was planning on doing an assignment where he gives away an Egg and the class has to watch it," Professor Oak commented as Delia helped him set up some Christmas decorations.
"You're welcome." Delia smiled softly.
Mimey then came dashing in, picture in tow, and showed it to Delia.
"...where did you find that?" Delia gasped.
"Huh… there's a face I haven't seen in that context in a long time…" Oak commented as he looked at the picture for a moment.
"Mime, mime mime mime mime?" Mimey, inquiring about the picture, demanded to know.

"...if I tell you, you must never communicate this to Ash. Got it?" Delia sighed, with Mimey giving a thumbs up, "Alright… back when I was about 17 or 18, I had met this man who was vacationing to Cinnabar Island…"
A much younger Delia walked over and saw a younger Professor Kukui as he was relaxing alongside a Pokemon. Delia curiously walked over and saw it was a sort of puppy Pokemon. She slowly approached it and reached over to touch it…
"Ruff!" the Pokemon yelped, jumping away in fear.
"Oh! I-I-I'm so sorry!" Delia apologized.
"Eh, it's fine," Kukui assured as he sat up, "I'm Kai, Kai Kukui, and who are you?"
"Delia Ketchum," Delia smiled, "So… who's this Pokemon here? I've never seen it before,"
"This, my friend," Kai began as picked up the Pokemon, "Is Rockruff, a Pokemon from my native Region of Alola,"
"I think I've heard of Alola, it's a lovely vacation spot,"
"I came to Kanto to do some research about certain types of Pokemon, but I got a bit sidetracked, not only with some vacation, with trying out that Gym Challenge."
"Oh really?"
Kai smiled as he showed off the Boulder Badge and Rainbow Badge "Going for the Volcano Badge when the Gym Leader comes back,"
"Neat. Uh… my boyfriend is a Gym Leader, so I'll make sure you can battle him," Delia smiled.
"Alright,"
"I forgot that you once dated a Gym Leader," Professor Oak commented as he sat down by Delia, handing her and Mimey some tea.
"Yea… well… that's not exactly one of the high points of my life," Delia admitted, "He started out really nice, even had a small group of friends… but after he became a Gym Leader, something about him changed,"
"Mime?"
Delia simply stared at the tea as she remembered.
"Gio… why are you having your friends be here in the Gym?" Delia asked.
"So people will have a challenge before they challenge me," he explained, a sinister smirk on his face, "To give off some finality to the Gym here,"
Delia stared for a moment before she walked off.
"I traveled with Kai for a while and saw him win the Volcano Badge, Cascade Badge, Soul Badge, Thunder Badge, Marsh Badge and Boulder Badge," Delia commented, recalling Kai's Poliwhirl beating Blaine's Magmar, Kai's Raichu beating a Starmie, Kai's Morelull beating Koga's Golbat, the same Pokemon of Kai's beating Surge's Pikachu, Kai's Alolan Marowak beating a Alakazam and lastly Kai's Poliwhirl beating Brock's dad's Onix, "Then came his attempt for the Earth Badge. The day before, I spoke with my old boyfriend before the match… and did something I wasn't proud of..."
"You want me to do WHAT?!" Delia yelled.
"You heard me, I want you to steal some of those Alola Pokemon from that Trainer."
Delia stammered a bit before she headed for the door, "...we're done…"

Her ex simply stared at her as she left, but she stopped and saw a badge stock. Delia took a look around and took one of the Earth Badges sitting there and made a break for the door.
Mimey did a spit-take at this and began to cough tea a little bit.
"I'm not exactly proud of that moment…" Delia responded, "I've never stolen ever again, but it was something I did just to avoid seeing his face again."
"Did you ever see him again?" Professor Oak asked as he walked in with a towel, Mimey taking it and quickly cleaning up the tea.
"Not that I'm aware of… I really hope I don't ever see him again, but who knows. After I left the Gym, I met up with Kai and I gave him the badge, saying the Gym Leader would be out for a few months. He took on the Indigo League and actually almost won."
"Mime?" Mimey spoke, inquiring who beat Kai.
"Rockruff, use Rock Throw!" Kai commanded, Rockruff being his last Pokemon.
"Lapras, Hydro Pump!" his foe commanded.
Lapras fired off the water attack and Rockruff was KOed as a result.
"Rockruff is unable to battle, the winner is Lapras. And therefore, the winner is Thus the winner is Takuya Oak from Pallet Town!"
Delia turned to see the winner, being a young man with brown hair that was spiked in a way similar to a certain somebody...
"Mime?!" Mimey gawked.
"Yea… Gary's father won," Delia giggled.
Professor Oak smiled and looked at a picture of himself and his son before sighing a little, "I'm glad we can relate to the fact that we both aren't married anymore…"
Delia gave a nod before continuing, "Kai may have lost that battle, but he won my heart. We began to date and he even proposed after a while… and I accepted. I ended up moving to Alola after that,"
"Wasn't Ash born in Alola?" Professor Oak checked.
"Yea, and he spent the first few years of his life there," Delia nodded before sighing at what came next…
Poliwhirl struck Professor Kukui with a powerful Focus Punch and sent him tumbling towards the wall, causing a loud 'boom' to echo throughout the house. The loud sound ending up waking up an infant Ash.
"Kai, please stop! You woke up Ash again!"
"Sorry, sorry," Kai apologized to Delia, "But it's my area of expertise to study moves."
Delia groaned and proceeded upstairs to tend to Ash.
"Poliwhirl, continue to show me your moves!"
"Kai!"
"Ok, ok, I'll stop for now…"
"I eventually couldn't take it anymore, so we got divorced and I moved back here. And… well… I did tell Ash more than a couple fibs about his dad…" Delia sighed, "Like that he's a strong Pokemon Trainer still on his journey, his last name is Ketchum, among others."
Mimey gave a look of surprise at this.
"I do still talk with Kai on occasion, I write to him every Christmas, but I just can't bring myself to re-marry him," Delia commented.
"So, have you started your letter to him for this year?" Oak asked.

Delia's eyes widened as she realized she hadn't and quickly headed out to get started.
Back over in Alola, Ash was nearly done with getting the presents ready and was working on getting the last few done.
"So… why did you need to borrow Popplio?" Lana asked Ash.
"I'm gonna send a friend a picture of it for Christmas," Ash explained.
"Oh, ok," Lana nodded as Ash scooped Popplio into his hands and set it down to take pictures, "Just make sure they're nice,"
"Gotcha," Ash nodded, "Rotom, go ahead,"
-All over it.- the Rotom Pokedex smiled as he snapped the pictures, -Miss Lana, which do you think is the best?-
"Why ask?" Ash asked of the Rotom Pokedex.
-She requested they look nice, so I am getting her input.-
Lana looked over them and smiled at them all, "They're all nice. Go ahead and send which one you think looks perfect Ash."
"Thanks, see you later," Ash bid as he, Pikachu and the Rotom Pokedex left.
Ash waited around the marketplace and smiled upon seeing Litten trot along with some berries in tow, "Hey Litten,"
Litten then turned to face Ash, "Could you come with me for a bit? I really need your help with something. I promise it won't take to long,"
The cat simply stared at Ash for a bit before letting out a sigh and agreeing to do so.
"Alright, little bit closer guys," Ash commented as he had Pikachu, Rowlet, Litten, Lana's Popplio, and Kukui's Rockruff all stand in line for a picture.
"So… what is it you're doing?" Lillie asked, entering the area of Ash's house.
"Taking a few pictures for some Christmas presents. Gonna get a few more of the Pokemon before I join in with them for a present to my mom."

Lillie gave a nod as Ash motioned for Rowlet to scoot in a tiny bit more and had the Rotom Pokedex snap the pictures.
"Alright. Hey, Lillie, do you mind helping make sure me and the Pokemon take a good picture?"
"Sure," Lillie nodded as Ash headed into the frame of the picture, "Hmm… Litten, move over to where Pikachu is, and Popplio, scoot over a bit to where Litten was."
The two Pokemon nodded and did as told for the picture.
"Alright…" Lillie nodded, "Take it."
-All over it.- the Rotom Pokedex smiled as he snapped several pictures.
"Thanks Lillie," Ash smiled, "So… why are you here?"
"I came to give you a present early. I don't know if I can make it to the Christmas party at your place, so… here," Lillie smiled as she handed Ash a present.
"Oh, thanks," Ash nodded as he watched Litten pick up it's berry and began to head off, "Hey, can you wait a moment Litten?"
"Li?"
"I got you something," Ash smiled as he headed in and got the present, "It's not wrapped, but… I hope you like it."
Litten then saw it was a blanket that was relatively large and smiled a little at Ash before heading off.
"Why would it need such a large blanket?"
"There's a reason, but I'm a bit busy at the moment. See you around Lillie,"
Lillie gave a wave and headed off.
Kukui sat in his lab and was working on writing out a letter to his ex-wife as Ash came downstairs, "Oh, Ash?"
"Sorry for forgetting to knock, but I really need to use a computer to get something."
"Oh, alright," Kukui nodded as he took the paper and pencil and motioned to Ash to use the computer.
"What are you up to?" Ash couldn't help but ask.
"Just… working on a letter to my ex-wife."
"Oh…"
"We're still good friends, it's just… my research ended up getting on her nerves," Kukui responded, slightly lying but also slightly telling the truth.
Ash simply shrugged as he worked on the computer, pulling up a video of his performance in the Kalos League to get a picture of Ash-Greninja.
"Hey Kukui, do you need any of these?" Ash asked, seeing some blueprints lying around that looked untouched.
"Nah. I was meaning to send them to some other professors, though," Kukui informed as Ash ended up sneaking two of them into his bag.
"Alright, just asking," Ash responded as he slipped off to the loft to work on wrapping what he took, "He won't mind two being missing… hopefully,"
"Alright, Misty's gift… Brock's gift… Tracey's gift… May's gift… Max's gift… Dawn's gift… Iris' gift… Cilan's gift… Clemont's gift… Bonnie's gift… Kiawe's gift… Lana's gift... Sophocles' gift… Lillie's gift," Ash listed off as he saw there was still one person he didn't have a gift for, Serena, "...and now comes the tricky one…"
Ash simply sat and began to think of what he should give to his former traveling companion, especially given what had happened at the airport before they left Kalos, before Pikachu gave him an idea.
With the final gift and note wrapped up, Ash had sent off the gifts to his former companions and his classmates, thus he got to work on the gift for his mother.
Delia had finished her letter to Kai and sent it off, simply hoping that Ash wouldn't see it…
Christmas Day soon rolled around and Ash and Pikachu were both ready to open gifts. Kukui watched as they did so with a soft smile and read over Delia's letter, which was pretty short and simplistic.
'Dear Kai-
How have you been? I was glad to see you again while I was vacationing in Alola with our son. Sorry that I didn't stay very long… I just didn't want to have memories of the past came up. ...though they did come up because Mimey found a picture of us.
I do miss you, don't get me wrong, but your profession is a bit… uh… I don't know what the right word is. You just enjoy to hurt yourself, oddly.
Regardless… keep an eye on Ash for me, ok? And… please don't tell him you're his dad. I have fibbed to him a ton about his dad and I really don't want him to be angry at me.
Hope you're having a good time with him… Mr. Ketchum. Sorry, couldn't help myself.

Kukui simply tucked the letter away as Ash opened up the gifts one by one.
Delia had finished reading the letter from Kai, when she saw Ash had sent her a postcard with a picture that Lillie had helped him take.
'Dear Mom-
Really wish I could be home for Christmas, but I feel like I'm at home here in Alola… I couldn't tell you why, but I do feel at home here. I really hope you enjoy the picture and enjoy the holiday…'
Misty and Tracey opened up their gifts from Ash and both smiled happily at them, Misty's being a picture of Popplio, while Tracey's was of the picture of Alola Pokemon Ash had taken.
'The holiday is really great to be with a dear friend or family.'
Brock, presently home in Pewter City, unwrapped his gift and saw it was of Alolan Geodude, making him stare a bit in confusion.
'I worked really hard on everybody's presents.'
In Hoenn, May and Dawn were both opening up their presents. May's was a Blaziken bracelet and Dawn's was of Piplup earrings. Both girls giggled happily as they put them on.
'Some were easy picks…'
'Others… not so much.'
Max, presently in Hoenn himself, couldn't help but laugh a bit at the Munchlax plushie that Ash had sent him. His Ralts also let out a small laugh.
Iris gave a blank stare at the Axew T-Shirt that Ash had given her, but couldn't help but tie it around her head as a bandanna.
'I hope everybody enjoys them.'
Cilan cheered happily over a new Pansage lure that he had gotten, with his brothers rolling their eyes at this.
Clemont looked over the blue-prints sent to him, which appeared to be for some sort of green colored, cube shaped Pokeball. Bonnie, meanwhile, was ecstatic over her new book about Legendary Pokemon.

"Y/n... I saw him." He said.

Y/n didn't understand what and about who he was talking about.

"W-who did you see?" She asked.

"Ji-hoon. I met someone who looked exactly like him."

Y/n didn't ask anything else. She was worried about him and didn't want him to think about his friend again.

"Kai, I know how much you and your friend were, but Kai.... I am worried about you. I'm scared if something might happen to you." She said and held his hands tight.

He sat straight and pulled Y/n and hugged her tight.

"Y/n, I understand from your view. But I will be fine. I am ok." He said and kissed her forehead and wiped her tears.

"where did you meet him?" She asked.

"I went to the company as father called me and he introduced me to him and said he'd be working with me. I was shocked seeing his face. He looked just like Ji-hoon. While riding back home, I couldn't stop thinking about him. I started feeling the same symptoms. I tried forgetting it. I rushed home and I really wanted to be with you then. But then again those thoughts camme and I blanked out. I'm sorry to make you worry about me." He said.

"It's ok. I am always here to hear you out." Y/n said and caressed his hair.

The door knocked and opened revealing the boys.

"How are you feeling now?" Namjoon asked.

"Feeling good." Kai said and smiled.

The door opened again, revealing a new face.

"I heard that you had fainted and I came to check on you." He said, looking at Kai.

"Baekhyun?" Y/n and the boys asked.

"Hey! You guys, what are you doing here?" Baekhyun asked.

"Kai is our friend and Y/n's boyfriend." Jin said.

"What are you doing here?" Taehyung asked.

"I work with Kai. I was appointed today." He said.

"So, he is the one." Y/n said and Kai sat shocked.

"How do you guys know him?" Kai asked them.

"Baekhyun and Hoseok are friends and he introduced him to us. But we rarely got to see him. I'm to hear that you will be working with Kai." Y/n said.

"I too am." He said and smiled.

"Ok, you take some rest. I'll see you at work." He said and left.

"Let's get home." Namjoon said and they left along with Kai, as he was discharged.

They all went to their rooms and slept. Y/n and Kai sat cuddling each other.

"I never thought Ji-hoon would look like Baekhyun. He is a soft nature. I am sure you will become friends with him. And maybe you can get over it." Y/n said.

"I guess too." He said and they both slept.

*a week later

It was the month of December. And the month of Christmas! Everywhere, it was filled with Christmas-y vibes. There was only a few days left for Christmas.

The white snow covered everywhere, and shops decorated with lights and other decorations. A lot of kids playing in the snow and running around, and some building snowman.

People walking into the coffee shop to have hot drinks to warm themselves. Some at the shops to get gift for their loved ones and some buying decoration items.

Within a week, Kai and Baekhyun became close. Y/n was happy seeing him happy. Kai never thought about Ji-hoon, as Baekhyun had been like him, that made Kai forget about it.

They all were seated on the couch and talking about their daily lives at work.

"Guys, Christmas is around the corner. Any ideas on how to celebrate?" Yoongi asked.

"Oh yeah.... I have to go to the home on that day." Y/n said.

"How about we celebrate it there?" Jin asked. They all agreed.

"Yeah, they will also feel happy." Jimin said.

"So, let's plan it out perfectly. This Christmas, we are gonna celebrate it with all of them." Taehyung said, smiling.

Christmas was in 5 days and they had great ideas to execute the celebration.

*4 days later

They had got everything ready for the christmas party for tomorrow.
"So, tomorrow early morning, we have to do everything quietly. And call halmeoni and the others too after finishing the decoration." Hoseok said.

They nodded their heads and went to sleep as they had to get up early, tomorrow.

At Y/n's room :

"Tomorrow is a big day." Y/n said as Kai was hugging her from back.

"Hmm... And for you, especially." He said and kissed her cheek.

"Why do you say?"

"You've got back with your friends and celebrating christmas. Seeing happy really makes me happy." He said and pulled her to the bed and they cuddled.

"So am I." She said and they slept.

*next day

They all woke up really early than usual.

"It's relly amazing to see Yoongi wake up early, for the first time." Y/n said and teased him. The others laughed.

They all got in the car along with the girls and drove to the loctaion.

The silently tip-toed inside and started decorating the hall, where they all gathered together and talk.

They hung christmas strings of green and red colours. There were lights in star shape. They kept the christmas tree by the corner and Y/n, Kai, Taehyung and Jennie decorated it.

"Tae, wanna do it?" Y/n asked Taehyung, if he wanted to put the star on the top of the tree.

"No. You should do it. You deserve to do it." He said.

"But I think you should do it." Y/n said. They kept saying you, you, and suddenly Jungkook entered.

"Can I put it up?" He asked. The others laughed and Y/n nodded and gave it to him and he put the star on the tree.

"Everything's done. Let's call halmeoni." Y/n said excited. Kai nodded and called his family to come over to the home.

While, Y/n and the others went to wake up them and help them refresh. As they came down, Kai pulled Y/n and held her waist.

"Hmm. You look really gorgeous in this dress." He said and pulled her closer. 

"Is it? Thanks." She said and smiled. He slowly moved forward, to kiss her, but Y/n put her palm in the middle and stopped him.

"This is not the right time." She said and took his hands off her waist and walked away. But Kai pulled her back.

"Just once." He said and moved forward and turned Y/n to the wall and pinned her. 

"Just once." She said and without wasting a second, he smashed his lips on hers. They kissed for a good 30 seconds and Y/n broke the kiss and pushed him and walked away.

*after half an hour

Kai's family had come and so did the others staying at the home.

There was a red curtain at the entrance of the talking area.

"What is this?" They asked each other confused.

"It says pull this, here." Halmeoni said and she pulled it along with the others.

"SURPRISE!!!" They all shouted.

Halmeoni and halabeoji were all in shock. They really couldn't believe that they were gonna celebrate christmas this year.

"Wahh! It's really wonderful!" Halmeoni said and the others entered and slowly took their seats.

"Merry Christmas to all of you!" They all said together.

"So, on this day, we have made something for you guys. Today is all about enjoyment and fun." Y/n said.

"First of, we'll start with a melodious song by Yoongi and Jimin." Kai said and they both moved aside so they could perform.

Yoongi sat by the piano, ready to play, while Jimin was holding the mic, ready to sing.

"Merry Christmas to all of you! On this day, I have prepared a song, with the help of Yoongi at the piano. I hope you enjoy it." He said and Yoongi slowy started playing the piano.

Soon it got over and they all cheered for them.

"That was really wonderful. Now we have Hoseok on the stage to entertain us with a wonderful dance performance." Y/n said and Hoseok stood on the centre of the stage.


The music played. (The music can be your favourite song, that is groovy and you feel like dancing.)

"Woww!! That was really awesome!" Halabeoji cheered.

Hoseok smiled, shyly and bowed.

"Thank you for the wonderful performance Hoseko-sshii." Kai said and smiled.

"Up next, we have a wonderful performance from Taehyung-sshii along with Yoongi-sshii. Stay tuned for it. We'll be having a break now. We've got buffet for you guys. So, go ahead and have some food and we'll join back later." Kai said.

"Don't hesitate to eat. Enjoy yourselves." Y/n said and smiled.

The girls served them food and the boys helped them.

"So, now we have Taehyung singing for us with Yoongi on the piano again."

Taehyung took the mic and started singing.

Jungkook and Jin played a small skit, about their fight and how they'd get back. They all laughed at their bickering. 

They bowed and left. 

Next was Namjoon and Nayeon. They both danced for a romantic song. They both had a great chemistry. 

Soon, it was coming to the end. 

"We're nearing the end. Now, we have a special performance by the boys." Y/n said.

The boys took over the stage and started singing.

"Now, it's goft time!!" Hoseok shouted. They slowly started distributing gifts to them. 

They gave the gifts and spent some more time with them and headed home. 

The girls headed home, as they had to spend time with their family. Jennie also left, as she had some work.

"Woah! That was really tiring but it went really well." Y/n said as she flopped on the couch. 

"Yeah. It turned out really well." Hoseok said and sat next to her. She rested my head on his shoulder. 

"It was really fun, though." Jungkook said. And Y/n nodded. 

"So, what about gifts?" Taehyung asked. 

"Yeah, I forgot." Namjoon said and went to get his. And slowly everyone went to get their gifts. 

"Should we reveal who's the santa for who?" Jungkook asked. 

They played secret santa. They all took chits and Y/n got Jungkook. She knew what he'd like the most. 

"Just do whatever you want. But here." She said and gave him a card. 

"What is this for?" He asked. 

"My gift to you. Open and see." She said. He opened and was confused. 

"What is this?" 

"Blind, read it." She said and he read it. His eyes grew twice the size. 

"Is it true?" He asked. She nodded my head. 

"What is it?" The others asked. 

"A membership card, to the arcade center." He said, smiling. 

"Thank you so much, Y/n." He said and hugged her. Y/n hugged him back and ruffled his hair. 

They all exchanged gifts but Y/n hasn't still got hers. 

"So, who on earth is my santa?" She asked.

"Me." Y/n turned to the voice and saw Kai. 

"Really? So, what have you got me?" She asked.

"Come and stand here." He said and she stood opposite to him. 

"Close your eyes." He said. She did as he said. 

"Now open." He said and she opened my eyes and looked at him, kneeling down, in one leg. 

He took out a box and opened it, revealing a ring. 

"Y/n, will you marry me?" He asked. She was shocked.

Y/n really didn't expect this, but she was happy. She was extremely happy that she couldn't express it. 

"Yes!" She said and he put the ring and got up and they kissed, passionately. 

As they broke the kiss, the boys cheered for them. 

"Woohoo!! Y/n's getting married!!" Taehyung shouted. 

"I can't believe, Y/n's getting married. I thougth I'd be the first." Jungkook said. They all laughed. 

Kai had already planned all this. 

That day, when they all took a chit : 

Kai had thought that he'd propose to Y/n, on Christmas as her santa. But he had got Namjoon. 

So, he exchanged it with Hoseok who had Y/n's name and had talked hia plan, to the boys. They were really happy to know that and they helped him buy a ring and to execute the plan well. And it turned out well. 

"I'm so happy for you guys." Yoongi said. 

"Now, couples, go to your room and enjoy your christmas with each other, while, we go to our better half." Jin said and they all laughed and left. 

Kai and Y/n were left at home. 

"How about we go for a walk?" Y/n asked. Kia nodded and got both their jackets and they headed out. 

"Why did you choose to propose me at home?" Y/n asked, suddenly. 

"Umm... about that.... I know how much your friends mean to you and how much they are needed in your life. I proposed in front of them, cause you consider them as a family, more than friends. So I proposed to you, in front of your family." He said. 

Y/n hugged him, as she heard him say this. She was really happy that she had someone like Kai, to understand her problems and support her. 

"Thank you." She said and hugged him tight. She broke the hug and kissed him, on his lips, passionately. Kai pulled her closer and Y/n cupped his cheeks. 

"I love you so much." Y/n said. 

"I love you more than anything." kai said and they kissed, and smiled in between the kisses. 

*next day

Kai asked Y/n to stay at home, as she didn't have that much work to do. And the boys also stayed home, to give company. 

"So, what should we do?" Hoseok asked. 

"I'll miss Y/n." Jimin said, out of nowhere. 

"Wae?" She asked. 

"You'll get married and we'll miss you a lot." He said. 

"Jiminie Pabo!" She said and laughed and the others laughed along with her. 

"Who said I am leaving?" She asked and the others looked shocked. 

"Kai said that, even after marriage, we'll be staying here, cause he doesn't want me to leave you guys." She said.

"Kai is really cool. You're really lucky to have him." Jin said. Y/n nodded in agreement. 

"So, what shall we do?" Hoseok asked.

"Let's have fun." Taehyung said and sat down along with the others. 

"Yoons, are you still in love with your neck pillow?" Y/n asked. 

"When has he not been with it? Wherever he goes, he takes that along with him, and sleeps." Namjoon said. 

"Do you love Hoseok more or your neck pillow?" Jungkook asked. Hoseok was looking at Yoongi for an answer. 

"It;s obvious, I love my neck pillow." He said. 

"Then what am I?" Hoseok questioned him.

"You are my boyfriend. I can't compare you with my neck pillow, cause you are really special." He said.

"Awwww!" They all said except Hoseok. 

"That's my man." He said and sent him a flying kiss.

But Jin snatched the kiss. 

"I'm sorry." Jin said. 

Like this they kept chatting and having fun. They couldn't stop laughing and and end up tearing by laughing hard. 

They all were back to normal. Everything was back to normal. They all were together and happy. No more distractions nor anyone in between to spoil their friendship. 

Friends are the ones who stay with you until you reach your goal. They are always beside you, no matter what. Friends are some one that everyone gets without any cost. They are the greatest gift given by god, to walk with you, and guide you. 

They have a million ways to make you laugh/smile, to comfort you, to annoy you, to encourage you, and to embarrass you.

But they always have your back, and support you, when there's a problem. 

They will always love you, even if you have hurt them. It'll take sometime to get back, but they will forgive you and forget about it. That's what the title says. 

Forgive your friends, if they had done some mistake or hurt you, even if they knew your weak point. And forget about the incident and carry on, saying,
"It's ok, you are my friend, and I need you, even if you said something, I know you would have said it for my good, cause you always care for me." 

After all, we are still best friends, who fight with each other, embarrass each other, annoy each other, but still love each other, from the bottom of our heart.

'Forgive and Forget', can be seen only in a friend who really thinks him/her/tem as their world. No matter what you do, your friends are the only one who forgive you and forget about the issue. everyone must be lucky to have a friend like that.

Choi Y/n was the only girl bestie of a group of 7 seven boys. She never really thought she was the "only girl". Others would talk about her, but she never really cared. 

Taehyung, once introduced a new girl to the group and they were getting really close. Jealousy overtook Y/n. She would always feel lonely since she came. 

What are the problems she'll face? Will their friendship last? Will everything be back to normal?

Excessive cold came with the snow and everything became magical. The preparations started for the Christ decided to go for present shopping as it's going to take a lot of time. First we went for jewellery shopping,and bought that diamond bracelet for Sarah. We bought pairs of diamond earrings for bailey and a Rado watch for Debbie. For other girls we bought yellow gold diamond studs. For boys we bought plated cuff links. For aunt's and uncles we decided to go for pendants and iPads. I already had my gift for Andrew but I was curious to know about my gift. We also bought some clothes, and other necessities. Sarah and dew also bought each other gifts. Sarah bought a board game for dew and he bought a dress for Sarah. We also played some games with kids. We came late that night. Next day I got two orders for the week. It was for a lunch party and for a baby shower. The couple who was having baby wanted something different. So they told me about a theme. And I decided to have a office in the home. So I called Bailey for suggestions and she gave me fabulous ideas. I talked to Andrew that night about the office. He told me that he ll talk to the decorator. So next day the decorator visited and started the work. And I started working on my orders. In the meanwhile I had found wholesale shops for materials, decorations and utensils. So I went shopping and bought whole lot. I decided to do blue cake for the baby shower and colourful cupcakes to go with it. I decided to do some cookies also that ll be given as the return gift. I decided to make pouches of cookies. So I started the work with the help of Mrs Hudson. It was as usual a lot of work. Children were busy in their assignments but nevertheless they helped me in baking . We baked many batches and then packed it. We decorated the packs with cute little blue booties. I was busy with my work and didn't notice that Andrew was behaving very differently. He brought me a simple ring for good luck and then the next day it vanished from the bathroom. When I told Andrew he told me to forget about the matter as may be dew took it to use it. That was awkward as he didn't called dew to bring it back. I was busy so I didn't paid any attention to the incident. We were travelling first time by the plane so children were very excited. They asked me many questions and I worked on little details for them. I packed toffees and ear plugs for them so that they don't get headache while being in air. I packed extra warm clothes for all of us. Tops,jeans,jackets and a formal dress for the Christmas lunch. I also packed socks, shoes and flats. Then I packed undergarments and lingerie. After finishing the packing I collected gifts at one place. We were  going 3 days before Christmas to spend quality time.. And decided to give Mrs Hudson  present to her. She became very happy on seeing the gift as this was the first time she got something on Christmas. Her children were abroad and rarely visited her. Her husband was bed ridden so she didn't have anyone. Next day early morning we left for airport, while sitting in the car we gave Willy his gift. He was like a family as he was Andrew's driver from many years. He also smiled and thanked Andrew for the gift. Children became ecstatic on seeing the airplane and Andrew joined them. He clicked their photos everywhere at the airport. After boarding when we were waiting in the lounge, children demanded something to drink so Andrew took them. And I realised that this is the first Christmas we are celebrating happily otherwise every Christmas i had to make choices between gifts or groceries. I couldn't afford both. This year has truly been magical for me- magical and lovable. They returned with a coffee for me. Andrew kissed me and sat down near me. He clicked a picture of me and applied it as his wallpaper. I noticed he was becoming extra possessive towards me. He wanted to buy me everything whether it wass usable for me or not, he started holding my hand everywhere. We boarded the plane and landed in the evening. Uncle had sent his car for us and it was dinner time when we reached the resort. We had lunch in the plane itself so the children were very hungry. Uncle had prepared family rooms for every family. And when Andrew opened the room,the view was spectacular. There was glass windows everywhere which were showing the beach and the greenery. There was a jacuzzi in the bathroom. And there was a separate queen size bed for children. The walls were panneled and had cozy effect. I just loved the room as I had never seen anything this beautiful. After we got freshened up we went for dinner with aunt and uncle. Everybody else was arriving tomorrow morning. We chatted,laughed and danced. Then the next morning when I woke up and saw the view I realised it was picturesque. It was so soothing and relaxing that I just decided to sit in the balcony for some time . I could see the water below and trees were everywhere. I didn't realize the time and when Andrew kissed me I got out of my reverie. We just sat there curdling each other on the sofa. Children woke up and we decided to go for breakfast. After breakfast ally arrived with her family first. Then everyone started arriving and it became so homely - some were eating, some were relaxing, boys were having drinks. Children were busy in the games room. Debbie and me were having a chat when aunt announced that they have planned some games for couples. First ll be the paper dancing so everyone stood up and went to the floor and then the game started. Tom and his girlfriend won the game. Then game the treasure hunt for couples. She told us that there are some clues all around the resort ,we have to find it and the one who ll win the hunt will be the winner. I noticed that only we were excited and everyone else was just smiling to each other. I found it weird but decided to drop it. So the hunt started and everybody moved, we found the first clue much before anyone else so we proceeded. After one hour we were the winners. Aunt told us that the prize ll be given tomorrow. The day passed and the next day the day was a little warm so we decided to go for a swim. We all swam, ate and had fun. Men decided to cook that day so went for manicure and pedicure. It was fun as aunt's and girls were very bossy over their husbands and I enjoyed their chemistry. That night aunt told us that me and Andrew have won a dinner date on the terrace. So she told us to get dressed and be there at 8. I left the kids with bailey and Debbie and they were okay with it. They both were smiling and even hugged me before leaving. so I went to my room and got dressed. I wore a turtle neck sweater with denims and shoes. We both went to the terrace and what I saw brought tears to my eyes. The whole terrace was lit with twinkling lights and there was a table in the centre with candles all around it. Andrew took me to it and we sat down. We had our dinner and then came the dessert. It was a chocolate lava cake. Andrew told me that he doesn't want to have anything as he is full which was weird because lava cake was his favourite. So I took the bite and noticed that there was something in my mouth. I put it out and realized it was a ring. My heart skipped a beat and I saw Andrew was on his knee-

I was speechless and teary eyed so I just nodded and he slipped the ring onto my left finger and told me that it was my Christmas gift from him.We kissed each other hungrily and then he sat down. He was smiling like a cat. And I realized that the ring was a perfect fit and then it clicked. That good luck ring and that treasure hunt was just a facade and when I asked Andrew he just nodded. We came down and I found everyone in the sitting room waiting for us. Andrew nodded yes and they all started shouting congratulations and hugged us. Debbie was crying while she was hugging me. We found the children in t.v room and told them the news. They both hugged Andrew together. The next day was Christmas so in the morning after hot chocolate we opened our gifts. I was stunned as everyone was so thoughtful and had bought me beautiful gifts. I got a necklace with ring and earrings from girls. Aunt's and uncles gave us similar photo frames of our photos in it. Finally I gave my gift to Andrew - a vacation to Bali. He smiled and hugged me and told me in the ear that we ll go there for our honeymoon.
Lunch was just splendid. We were on the terrace with a long table full of food. Everyone was having fun and I found that having a family and that too this much loving is a blessing. "Truly a blessing". 
Last year i didn't have any identity, didnt have enough for my children,I was in a marriage that was just namesake and i was a simple homemaker. In the past few months everything changed and now it's all unbelievable. Thanku God for everything!!

In the years before I was abused, my family was the "Brady Bunch" of the 1960s. My two brothers and I were blessed with the perfect parents. Our every whim was fulfilled with love and care. We lived in a modest twobedroom house, in what was considered a "good" neighborhood in Daly City. I can remember looking out of our living room bay window on a clear day, to gaze at the bright orange towers of the Golden Gate Bridge and the beautiful skyline of San Francisco. My father, Stephen Joseph, supported his family as a fireman, working in the heart of San Francisco. He stood about five feet ten inches tall, and he weighed about 190 pounds. He had broad shoulders and forearms that would make any muscle man proud. His thick black eyebrows matched his hair. I felt special when he winked at me and called me "Tiger". My mother, Catherine Roerva, was a woman of average size and appearance. I never could remember the color of her hair or eyes, but Mom was a woman who glowed with love for her children. Her greatest asset was her determination. Mom always had ideas, and she always took command of all family matters. Once, when I was four or five years old, Mom said she was sick, and I remember feeling that she did not seem to be herself at all. It was a day when Father was working at the fire station. After serving dinner, Mom rushed from the table and began painting the steps that led to the garage. She coughed as she frantically brushed the red paint onto every step. The paint had not fully dried, when Mom began tacking rubber mats to the steps. The red paint was all over the mats and Mom. When she finished, Mom went into the house and collapsed on the couch. I remember asking her why she had put the mats down before the paint dried. She smiled and said, "I just wanted to surprise your 
"dad." When it came to housekeeping, Mom was an absolute clean fiend. After feeding my two brothers, Ronald and Stan, and I breakfast, she would dust, disinfect, scour and vacuum everything. No room in our house was left untouched. As we grew older, mom made sure we did our part by keeping our room neat. Outside, she meticulously attended a small flower garden, which was the envy of the neighborhood. With Mom, everything she touched turned into gold. She didn't believe in doing anything halfway. Mom often told us that we must always do the best we could, in whatever we did. Mom was truly a gifted cook. Of all the things she did for her family, I think creating new and exotic meals was her favorite. This was especially true on those days when Father was home. Mom would spend the better part of the day preparing one of her fantastic meals. On some days when Father was working, Mom would take us on exciting sightseeing tours around the city. One day, she took us to Chinatown in San Francisco. As we drove around the area, Mom told us about the culture and history of the Chinese people. When we returned, Mom started her record player, and our home was filled with beautiful sounds from the Orient. She then decorated the dining room with Chinese lanterns. That evening, she dressed in a kimono and served what seemed to us as a very exotic but delicious meal. At the end of dinner, Mom gave us fortune cookies and read the captions for us. I felt that the cookie's message would lead me to my destiny. Some years later, when I was old enough to read, I found one of my old fortunes. It said, "Love and honor thy mother, for she is the fruit that gives thou life." Back then our house was full of pets – cats, dogs, aquariums filled with exotic fish and a gopher tortoise named "Thor". I remember the tortoise best because Mom let me pick a name for it. I felt proud because my brothers had been chosen to name the 
other pets and it was now my turn. I named the reptile after my favorite cartoon character. The five– and tengallon aquariums seemed to be everywhere. There were at least two in the living room, and one filled with guppies in our bedroom. Mom creatively decorated the heated tanks with colored gravel and colored foil backs; anything she thought would make the tanks more realistic. We would often sit by the tanks while Mom told us about the different species of fish. The most dramatic of Mom's lessons, came one Sunday afternoon. One of our cats was behaving in an odd way. Mom had us all sit down by the cat while she explained the process of birth. After all the kittens has slipped safely out of the mother cat, Mom explained in great detail the wonder of life. No matter what the family was doing, she somehow came up with a constructive lesson; though we were not usually aware that we were being taught. For our family – during those good years – the holidays started with Halloween. One October night, when the huge harvest moon was in full view, Mom hurried the three of us out of our house, to gaze at the "Great Pumpkin" in the sky. When we returned to our bedroom, she told us to peek under our pillows where we found Matchbox race cars. My two brothers and I squealed with delight as Mom's face was flushed with pride. The day after Thanksgiving, Mom would disappear to the basement, then bring up enormous boxes filled with Christmas decorations. While standing on a ladder, she tacked strings of ornaments to the ceiling beams. When she was finished, every room in our house had a seasonal touch. In the dining room Mom arranged different sizes of red candles on the counter of her prized oak hutch. Snowflake patterns graced every window in the living room and dining room. Christmas lights were draped around our bedroom windows. Every night I fell asleep while staring at the soft, colorful glow of the Christmas lights 
that blinked on and off. Our Christmas tree was never ever an inch under eight feet, and it took the whole family hours to decorate it. Each year one of us was honored by being allowed to place the angel at the top of the tree, while Father held us up in his strong arms. After the tree was decorated and dinner was finished, we would pile into the station wagon and cruise the ne ighborhood, admiring the decorations on other homes. Mom always rambled on about her ideas of bigger and better things for the next Christmas, even though my brothers and I knew our house was always the best. When we returned home, Mom sat us down by the fireplace to drink egg nog. While she told us stories, Bing Crosby sang "White Christmas" on the stereo. I was so excited during those holiday seasons that I couldn't sleep. Sometimes Mom would cradle me, while I fell asleep listening to the crackle of the fire. As Christmas Day came nearer, my brothers and I became more and more excited. The pile of gifts at the base of the tree grew day by day. By the time Christmas finally arrived, there were dozens of gifts for each of us. On Christmas Eve, after a special dinner and caroling, we were allowed to open one gift. Afterwards, we were sent to bed. I always strained my ears as I laid in bed, waiting for the sound of Santa's sleigh bells. But I always fell asleep before I heard his reindeer land on the roof. Before dawn, Mom would creep into our room and wake us, whispering, "Santa came!" One year she gave each of us a yellow, plastic, Tonka hard hat and had us march into the living room. It took us forever to rip the colorful paper from the boxes, to discover our new Christmas toys. Afterwards, Mom had us run to the backyard in our new robes, to look back in through the window at our huge Christmas tree. That year, standing in the yard, I remember seeing Mom cry. I asked her why she was sad. Mom told me she was crying because she was so happy to have a real family. 
Because Father's job often required him to work 24hour shifts, Mother often took us on day trips to places like the nearby Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. As we slowly drove through the park, Mom explained how the areas were different and how she envied the beautiful flowers. We always visited the park's Steinhart Aquarium last. My brothers and I would blaze up the stairs and charge through the heavy doors. We were thrilled as we leaned over the brass, seahorseshaped fence, looking far below at the small waterfall and pond that were home to the alligators and large turtles. As a child, this was my favorite place in the entire park. I once became frightened, as I thought about slipping through the barrier and falling into the pond. Without speaking a word, Mom must have felt my fear. She looked down at me and held my hand ever so softly. Spring meant picnics. Mom would prepare a feast of fried chicken, salads, sandwiches and lots of desserts the night before. Early the next day, our family sped off to Junipero Serra Park. Once there, my brothers and I would run wild on the grass and pump higher and higher on the park's swings. Sometimes we would venture off on a new trail. Mom always had to pry us away from our fun, when it came time for lunch. We wolfed down our food, hardly tasting it, before my brothers and I blitzed off for parts unknown, in search of high adventure. Our parents seemed happy to lie next to each other on a blanket, sip red wine and watch us play. It was always a thrill when the family went on summer vacation. Mom was always the mastermind behind these trips. She planned every detail, and swelled with pride as the activities came together. Usually we traveled to Portola or Memorial Park, and camped out in our giant, green tent for a week or so. But whenever Father drove us north across the Golden Gate Bridge, I knew we were going to my favorite place in the world – the Russian River. The most memorable trip to the river for me, happened the year I was in kindergarten. On the last day of school, Mom asked that I be excused a halfhour early. As Father honked the horn, I rocketed up the small hill from the school, to the waiting car. I was excited because I knew where we were going. During the drive, I became fascinated at the seemingly endless fields of grapes. When we drove into the quiet town of Guerneville, I rolled my window down to smell the sweet air from the redwood trees.
Each day was a new adventure. My brothers and I either spent the day climbing an old, burnt tree stump with our special whomperstomper boots or swimming in the river at Johnson's Beach. Johnson's Beach was a whole day's event. We would leave our cabin by nine and return after three. Mom taught each of us to swim in a small, trenched hole in the river. That summer Mom taught me how to swim on my back. She seemed so proud when I was finally able to do it.
Everyday seemed sprinkled with magic. One day after dinner, Mom and Dad took the three of us to watch the sunset. All of us held hands, as we crept past Mr Parker's cabin to get to the river. The green river water was as smooth as glass. The bluejays scolded the other birds, and a warm breeze blew through my hair. Without a word, we stood watching the fireballlike sun as it sank behind the tall trees, leaving bright blue and orange streaks in the sky. From above, I felt someone hug my shoulders. I thought it was my father. I turned and became flushed with pride to find Mom holding me tightly. I could feel her heart beat. I never felt as safe and as warm as that moment in time, at the Russian River.

Dave's bed was an old army for in the basement, and his clothes were torn and ranch. when his mother allowed him the luxury of food, it was nothing more than spoiled scraps that even dogs refused to eat. the outside world knew nothing of his living nightmare. he had nothing and no one to turn to, but his dreams kept him alive-dreams of someone taking care of him,loving him and calling him their son.

As Christmas arrived, Gryffindor Tower was hardly less crowded now than during term-time; it seemed to have shrunk slightly too, as its inhabitants were being so much rowdier than usual. Fred and George had had a great success with their Canary Creams, and for the first couple of days of the holidays, people kept bursting into feather all over the place. Before long, however, all the Gryffindors had learned to treat food anybody else offered them with extreme caution, in case it had a Canary Cream concealed in the center, and George con­fided to Chris that he and Fred were now working on developing something else.
Snow was falling thickly upon the castle and its grounds now. The pale blue Beauxbatons carriage looked like a large, chilly, frosted pumpkin next to the iced gingerbread house that was Ha­grid's cabin, while the Durmstrang ship's portholes were glazed with ice, the rigging white with frost. The house-elves down in the kitchen were outdoing themselves with a series of rich, warming stews and savory puddings, and only Fleur Delacour seemed to be able to find anything to complain about.
Early in the Christmas morning Leon woke Chris up. He was very excited to show her something. Everyone else was still asleep in their room. Chris got up and pulled the letter which was tied on his leg. It was from Sirius.

Dear Chris,
          
           Merry Christmas. I hope you like the gift I sent. I was trying to catch you both of the times I went to Hogwarts. I've been investigating about the matter you told me for sometime now. I've found many things. I've talked with Dumbledore but I also want to talk to you about something serious. I was trying to tell Harry about this but Dumbledore stopped me. So I think we can meet in Hogsmeade, on your next Hogsmeade visit. Please inform me the date.

Sirius

Chris opened the gift Sirius sent, it was a very thin and small oval shaped box, the box can fit into Chris's palm easily. There was another note with it.

It's an undetectable extended box. You can put your entire house things in it including your friends(though, don't try that).

Chris grinned and grabbed a big book from her bedside table and opened the box. The box looked normal but as soon as Chris lightly pushed the book on it, it went inside it. She smirked and hold her hand in front of the box.
"Accio." She whispers and the book came flying back in her hand. "Cool."
She got out of the bed to open her other gifts. Mr Norton had sent her a new beautiful dark purple robes for Yule Ball; Luna gave her a beautiful quill; Ginny gave her a pair of gloves; Colin gave a lion hat; Hermione gave the Quidditch through the ages book; Harry gave a red scarf; Shawn gave a advanced charms book; Hagrid gave a vast box of sweets including all Chris's fa­vorites: Chocolate Frogs and Drooble's Best Blowing Gum; Mrs. Weasley gave another new sweater like last year, it was blue and BRAVE written on the center, Chris supposed Charlie had told her all about the Horntail incident as there was a note in it, (Thanks for saving Ginny, my dear. But now on you also stay safe.. Take care.. Love Mrs Weasley..), also a large quantity of homemade mince pies; and at last a anonymous package, it was a hand written Potion recipe book. Chris knew exactly who sent it, she smiled looking at the book.


After Ginny finished unpacking her gifts and both of the girls wore Mrs Weasley's sweaters (Ginny got a red one) they went down to to meet Colin. 
"Merry Christmas Colin! Dennis!" Chris said sitting with them.
"Thanks for the Fizzing Whizzbees, Chris." Dennis said grinning as he found Chris's Christmas gift. 
"Cool sweater." Colin said looking at Chris.
"We should head out for breakfast, Luna should be waiting for us." Ginny said.

After breakfast four of them spent most of the morning in Gryffindor Tower, discussing about their Christmas gifts. 
"So Sirius gave me this." Chris said pulling out the tiny box from her robes. She attached it with a long chain and wore around her neck. It looked like a silver pendant.
"It'll fit anything?" Colin asked looking impressed.
"Yup. I already put many things in it." Chris grinned.
"Hey Merry Christmas." Hermione said as she, Harry and Ron came towards them. 
They sat together talked about many things, Fred and came and discussed their new ideas of weird toffees, then they all returned to the Great Hall for a magnificent lunch, which included at least a hundred turkeys and Christmas pud­dings, and large piles of Cribbage's Wizarding Crackers.
After that they went out onto the grounds in the afternoon; the snow was untouched except for the deep channels made by the Durmstrang and Beauxbatons students on their way up to the castle. Hermione and Luna chose to watch Chris, Colin, Dennis, Harry and the Weasleys' snowball fight rather than join in. Chris loved to play with his father in snow, as winter his father's favorite season. At five o'clock Hermione said she was going back upstairs to get ready for the ball.
Finally at six o'clock, Luna informed them the time and Ginny dragged Chris for getting ready.
"Why you girls need so much time to get ready?" said Ron, looking at her incred­ulously and paying for his lapse in concentration when a large snowball, thrown by George, hit him hard on the side of the head.
"Because we're beautiful and you're not." Ginny replied as they climbed the stone steps into the castle.
Luna said she'll meet them at the Entrance Hall and left as Chris and Ginny made their way to the Gryffindor tower. The Fat Lady was sitting in her frame with her friend Violet from downstairs, both of them extremely tipsy, empty boxes of chocolate liqueurs littering the bottom of her picture.
"Lairy fights, that's the one!" she giggled when they gave the password, and she swung forward to let them inside.
Chris and Ginny get ready, Ginny was wearing a light green robes and Chris the silky dark purple robes. Chris pulled her half hair in a light bun on the back of her head and the other half fell on her shoulder.
When it was almost half past seven, someone knocked on their door. It was Hermione. Her hair was sleek and shiny, and twisted up into an elegant knot at the back of her head. She was wearing robes made of a periwinkle-blue material. She was smiling nervously. Her teeth was looking very different now, as she made them shrink after that incident with Malfoy.
"How do I look?" She asked.
"Beautiful." Chris and Ginny said together.
"You too." Hermione grinned. "Who're you going with Ginny?"
"Michael Corner. Fourth year Ravenclaw." Ginny blushed.
"I'm about to meet Victor outside the Entrance Hall. See you at the Ball." Hermione nervously smiled and went downstairs.
After sometime Chris and Ginny made their way to the common room. The common room looked strange, full of people wearing dif­ferent colors instead of the usual mass of black. Parvati Patil and Lavender Brown were waiting at the foot of stairs of boys' dormitory.
"Hello Chris." Parvati smiled. She was wearing pink robes and Lavender was wearing red robes.
"Hi." Chris replied. "Who're you going with?"
Both of them giggled.
"I'm going with Seamus." Lavender replied.
"Harry." Parvati said. 
All of them waited for the boys to arrive. In between Chris and Ginny talked with Angelina and Fred. George also asked Katie Bell and he was waiting for her.
At last Harry, Ron, Seamus, Dean, and Neville came down.
Neville looked more nervous as he saw Chris.
"Sorry Chris. I wasn't trying to be late." 
"Relax Neville. It's cool." Chris smiled. "You're looking good."
Neville went pink. He was wearing deep blue robes, which almost looked black.
"... er... Harry why're you staring at me?" Chris said, as she noticed Harry's face.
"Oh.... er.... umm... gorgeous... you're looking..." Harry said looking away. "... sorry... you're looking nice."
"Thanks." Chris replied. "Who's Ron's partner?"
"He doesn't got any." Harry whispered. Chris suppressed her laugh. "Don't laugh please, he's already upset."
"Hello." Colin came downstairs. He was wearing black robes, just a little different from school ones.
"Shall we go down then?" Ginny asked Chris and Colin.
"Sure." Chris replied and she, Ginny, Colin and Neville climbed out of the portrait hole.

The entrance hall was packed with students too, all milling around waiting for eight o'clock, when the doors to the Great Hall would be thrown open. Those people who were meeting partners from different Houses were edging through the crowd trying to find one another. Ginny found Michael Corner, and led him over to Chris and Neville.
"Hi." Chris said. He was wearing high collar robes.
"Hello." He replied.
Colin found Susan Bones and she introduced herself to Chris and Ginny. Fleur Delacour passed them, looking stunning in robes of silver-gray satin, and accompanied by the Ravenclaw Quidditch captain, Roger Davies.
A group of Slytherins came up the steps from their dungeon common room. Malfoy was in front; he was wearing dress robes of black velvet with a high collar. Pansy Parkinson in very frilly robes of pale pink was clutching Malfoy's arm. Soon as their group passed, Ginny slightly nudged Chris. Chris looked around and found Theodore coming with Daphne and a another fourth year girl, who was clutching Jason's arm tightly. Jason was wearing expensive, deep green, high collar robes.
He caught Chris's eyes and Chris looked away.
The oak front doors opened, and everyone turned to look as the Durmstrang students entered with Professor Karkaroff. Krum was at the front of the party, accompanied by Hermione. Then after them was Shawn holding hands with Luna. Luna was wearing sparkly silvery robes. Over their heads Chris saw that an area of lawn right in front of the castle had been transformed into a sort of grotto full of fairy lights — meaning hundreds of actual living fairies were sitting in the rosebushes that had been conjured there, and fluttering over the statues of what seemed to be Father Christ­mas and his reindeer.

“You will hear many of his Death Eaters claiming that they are in his confidence, that they alone are close to him, even understand him. They are deluded. Lord Voldemort has never had a friend, nor do I believe that he has ever wanted one,” Dumbledore told Harry Potter with absolute certainty.
But what if Voldemort did have a friend? Not just a friend but the friend? A millennia-old wizard, who learned the secret of Hogwarts from the great Four founders, and had his own goals to take over the world?
