A Bollywood actor, Shekhar, had put on many costumes and characters to become the most reputed actors. He has given his heart and sole to become the character and he takes on the personality of each of his characters. But he soon faces his own personality on the mirror, and the thought of seeing himself as yet another character is leading him towards his downfall in his acting career.

"Dianne walks into the room...it seems like it hasn't been opened for a long time. Cobwebs hang from the walls and a musty smell lingers about. There in the other corner of the room, a tall, dusty mirror leans against the wall..."
When Dianne finds a hidden room in the basement of her house, she discovers a mirror with a terrible secret. Will Dianne be able to escape the mirror's evil whispers?

Her eyes remained wide awake, not daring to close after having received such a great scare. Even after several breaths had passed, she could still vividly remember the scene without having to exert much effort.


Instead of a grainy darkness one commonly observed, she saw a detailed diagram of her body.


Every layer of skin, muscle, meridian, the inner composition of her body was displayed directly before the girl. What made the image more unnerving and unbearable to watch was a thin golden stream worming its way through her Heart Meridian as well as the major blood vessels in her body.


The thread of gold slowly entered through the Heart Meridian at the Jiquan acupuncture point, before extending down the length of the girl's arm. Her eyes closed shut, An Fei soon became aware that each incremental movement of the golden thread was accompanied by a wave of numbness and the odd sensation of warmth and discomfort.


She didn't know what it meant for the thread of gold to worm throughout her meridians or bloodstream, and could only watch with apprehension. Time seemed to have crawled to a standstill, and An Fei could only observe her meridians and bloodstream gradually release a pale golden light.



The light seemed similar to the radiance emitted objects containing spiritual essence, which gradually allayed the girl's trepidation after several hours of quiet introspection. However, she was unnerved by the fact that the ownership of her body still had not returned after so long.


The deafening pounding of her heart had quieted to a gentle pulse tickling the base of her ear. 


Much to her dismay, the unusual sensation did not lessen by the slightest, continuing to torment her body by the passing minute.


If An Fei could open her eyes, she would have noticed that accompanying each movement of the golden thread, was the dispelling of a silver mist. The dense mist appeared rather tangible, and the shimmering particles of silver light struggled to return to the girl's body like an agitated wraith. 


The golden radiance emitted from the crystalline floor forced the silver mist to remain separated from An Fei's body, the Sanctum beginning to vibrate as a terrifying accumulation of spiritual essence began to awake. The cloud of silver light reared back in fear in an agitated frenzy, forsaking the fleshly host as it attempted to flee.


The instant the silver mist left the confines of the bed, a formless energy completely eradicated the dense cloud of light, not leaving a single trace behind. Moreover, with each wisp of silver light exuded from the girl's body, the mass of spiritual essence surged to eliminate.


After an indeterminate amount of time, the girl watched the golden thread dissipate within her bloodstream, releasing a relieved sigh as she realized that the torturous numbness had stopped. As she sunk into darkness, the last An Fei saw was that her Heart Meridian and major blood vessels were now pulsing with a pale golden light, albeit quite fragile and delicate in appearance…

The girl crawled out of the bed, nearly falling onto the ground from the fatigue gnawing at her body.


With dark rings circling her eyes and her countenance haggard and dim, An Fei stumbled towards the bathroom located on the adjacent wall.


Pushing open the door and climbing into the cozy bathtub without even bothering to strip the green dress hanging onto her body, the girl slid down the wall of the large tub until her body underneath the chin was submerged. Leaning her head back in comfort as the hot water eased the knots in her muscles, An Fei released a long, heartfelt sigh.


Contrary to expectation, she had experienced a miserable night.


The aftereffects of the golden thread traversing through her body and the erratic, unnatural pulsing of searing heat within had displayed themselves in the middle of her sleep, forcing the girl awake each time the symptoms manifested. Not only that, her muscles had started to twitch uncontrollably from the sudden, unexpected unbalancing of vitality stored within the body, triggering a nightmare that seemed to have lasted for eons.


Tossing and turning and waking at inopportune intervals, the girl had been unable to obtain a wink of sleep. Her fatigue was evident, that she didn't even realize that she had dozed off until her head splashed into the water.


Shaking herself awake and hastily washing herself, the girl randomly picked a white, cotton nightgown before heading towards the medicine garden. As she left the boudoir, An Fei didn't forget to pick up a small object.


Clenched within her left hand as she strode towards the armory with faltering steps was a small handheld mirror, similar to the larger artefact resting at the bedside table. An Fei had discovered it laying in one of the drawers of the dresser, and had not hesitated to pick it up.


As per her suspicions, the beveled edge of the mirror was indeed releasing a faint maroon glow. Furthermore, the reflective surface of the mirror was a pitch black, only capable of absorbing light and not reflecting it back.


Da-ng!


Shoving the door open and placing the mirror and the <Eternal Sanctum> onto the crystalline floor, An Fei walked into the armory contained in the first gateway of the Sanctum. Her surroundings illuminated by the golden radiance emitted from the sky-blue crystal contacting her body, the girl avoided the rows of armor and weaponry as she headed directly towards the farthest corner.


Just like the day(?) before, An Fei was searching for additional cooking utensils. The wok had similarly been obtained from the armory, and the girl was curious as to why the objects contained in the armory lacked the glow of spiritual essence.


At the farthest corner of the armory, the girl spotted a rack supporting numerous pots and pans, a tray housing razor-sharp knives of various sizes and blades, and other tools utilized in cooking. 


Ultimately, after pondering for a few moments, An Fei staggered out of the armory with the <Eternal Sanctum>, a small handheld mirror, a bowl and ladle, and a pair of chopsticks as extra baggage. 


She had to admit, her appearance when devouring the food last night was considerably barbaric. 


The first time, she could shamelessly ignore her conscience and focus on the food, but such an act became increasingly difficult with each passing meal.

Moreoever, her fingers didn't enjoy the torment of directly touching hot food, especially when it had been taken out of the wok just moments prior.


Thus, she had set out to search for a pair of chopsticks and a ladle. The bowl was selected after a moment's hesitation, as the girl was unsure whether she truly needed a second bowl when she ate.


"…another meal… I'll just go for the string beans again," the girl lamented to herself as she stared at the blinding sea of lights. 


"If only there were a recipe for meat within the book, ah."


Setting her newly acquired tools down next to the wok, An Fei settled herself into a comfortable position, before placing the <Eternal Sanctum> onto her lap. No longer than a few minutes, the soft mumbling of a girl could be heard within the medicine garden.


"Absorbing spiritual essence within the Sanctum is facilitated by deep breathing and meditation, the practice of martial arts or supplementary cultivation techniques, direct consumption of items possessing spiritual essence, and a various assortment of activities including forging, calligraphy, painting, practicing alchemy, and the perusal of the Archives of Time."


"Until the succession of Divine Ascension regarding mortal cultivation, the spiritual essence of the Sanctum does not encounter bottlenecks or periods of momentary stagnation or decay. Realms within mortal cultivation are attained and interchanged by a successful accumulation of spiritual essence within the fleshly body." The girl read, her eyes reflecting puzzlement.


"Though the Sanctum is a source of spiritual essence not attributed with the aftereffects of mortal spiritual essence, the practitioner must enact the initiative to refine… the fleshly body with absorbed… spiritual essence to expand the soul's reserves. The subsequent pillars of the mortal cultivation… Body Tempering Realm are as follows: Blood, Meridian, Marrow, Muscle, and Flesh."


The moment she finished reading the page, an adorable growl could be heard within the tranquil medicine garden, causing An Fei's countenance to flush with embarrassment. No longer daring to suppress her hunger any further, the girl immediately slung the leather bag over her shoulder before striding into the sea of plants and medicinal herbs.


She was a woman of priorities, or so she declared; compared to learning more regarding the mysterious and terrifying phenomena that occurred last night, enjoying a fulfilling breakfast was more important as of the moment.

"A mirror?" she wondered, rubbing the smooth surface with her slender fingers. "What's so special about it? It looks so ordinary."


"Just not a plain mirror," replied the grandfather. His gaze distant, his voice was hoarse as he explained. "It'll change your life to the deepest core. Here, since it is your sixteenth birthday, I'll pass it to you as a present."


"How will it change anything?" she retorted, tapping the pristine yet dull surface. "You must be joking! Always prancing about how I need to be more vain, so mean!"


"You will see in due time," was the reply. 



You will see in due time. Just how a single, useless mirror will change your life in many ways unexpected by anyone.


Grandfather was indeed correct. An Fei could not help but admit it. The mirror had completely changed her life, just as he had said.

Only, was she presented hell, or a new life?

Atreus smiles at the thought and walks away from the window. Your room is impeccably tidy. There is a place for everything and everything is in its place. There are notebooks stacked in a corner of the bench, along with some tools, hexagonal tweezers and folded diagrams. Everything meticulously organized. Yesterday's lunch - black bread, cheese and dried fruit - remains untouched and wrapped next to the tools. There is a small metallurgical forge ingeniously mounted on the wall. The smoke is carried to the roof by an intricate set of iron pipes. In the center of the table, there is a wooden box with a device that he took several months to build, using the diagrams engraved on the waxed paper rolls that he hides under the mattress.

Atreus places the wooden box in the bag slung over his shoulder, along with the wrapped food, some notebooks and pencils. He's nervous, but that's understandable. Today is a big day for him, and he doesn't want to fail.
He pulls away the chair that blocks the door and turns the lock to release the bars that keep it closed. Compared to where it came from, Piltover is a safe place, with an incredibly low rate of violent crime. Its inhabitants are not concerned with everyday violence as in most cities, but neither are they naive to think that they do not need to lock the doors.
Especially in the weeks leading up to Progress Day.
Atreus locks the door and, before going down the stairs, pauses to empty the urinal in the central gutter of the pension, where the night residues are deposited. He used to wonder where it was going, until he realized that excrement always trickles down. Somewhere in Zaun's underground, there must be a garden that flourishes like no other. Few of them have slept more than an hour or two a night in the past two weeks and he would not be surprised if some of his colleagues today fell asleep right in the middle of his auditions. Before anyone slows her down, he goes out into the street and the sun's light makes him brake suddenly.
The tall buildings on his street are made of limestone bricks and beveled wood. The bronze facades, leaded glass and copper cladding reflect the sunlight across its surface. The streets are busy and noisy, with a swing of relatively well-dressed men and women. Messengers make their way through notaries, suppliers and vendors, who yell at them and complain by shaking their fists. A few vagabond tinkers offer their suspicious goods in canvas cloths spread over barrels, prepared to run if any guards appear. Trombadinhas that hitchhiked in the Crescent Howl that comes from Zaun roam the corners of the streets, watching who passes, in search of the next victim. They are younger and inexperienced, and were expelled from the bridges that cross the chasm by the older and stronger.
Atreus watches them closely as he walks down the street with precise and measured steps. He has very little that deserves to be stolen, but the last thing he needs today is for some crash to take something he shouldn't. A smell of baked fish and Shuriman bread coming from the oven emanates from a nearby cafeteria and makes it salivate. Instead of entering, he calls a woman who pushes a cart surrounded by hissing pipes and buys a hot tisane with one of the sweet treats he had learned to like, too much.

Although his theories often seem obscure and esoteric, Atreus Raven Darkin has produced some of the world's most miraculous, not to mention lethal, machines and constantly adjusts his inventions to make them even more efficient.

However with an accident and a betrayal he is murdered and dies and mysteriously returns to the past with all the understanding about magic. technology. Potions. items...

With a desire for Vengeance and a smile on his face, he rises once more to take over the tower of the world.

"I don't get it. If she bids for the highest price. Then wouldn't the money just go to the charity?" Diana asked in confusion.

"That's when The Children of Mt. Celandine enters the picture. She worked with someone from the GBC Auction Ball to make sure that the Children of Mt. Celandine will pass as their beneficiary. Therefore, the fund that The Children of Mt. Celandine will gather in front of the auction all goes to their pocket." Felix said.

"Oh… I get it. But… I have known Ms. Laurie Como since I was a child. I don't think she is the kind of person that would use a one-time grant given to The Children of Mt. Celandine for her personal gain." Diana grew up in Mt. Celandine and has been one of those children that Laurie Como had helped although, during those times, The Children of Mt. "And when we visited The Children of Mt. Celandine, Laurie Como's daughter said that their application to be a beneficiary of GBC Auction Ball was done by her Aunt, which I suppose is Aivy. And if I remember it correctly, you guys said that Laurie Como and Aivy were not in a good relationship." Lance said.

"Damn. This Aivy is cunning. It looks like she is using The Children of Mt. Celandine for her benefit. She is just using her sister's organization so that all the money that she will spend for Massive J will all fall back in her hands together with Massive J." Stefan said with a gritted tooth.

"The Children of Mt. Celandine is being used. They were not even qualified to be a beneficiary of the GBC Auction Ball but Aivy made it so." Felix said.

All this time, Arthur and Daniel remained quiet which was not unusual. J knew that these two men were already strategizing based on the information that Felix has gathered.

"Hmm… I wonder, just how much those fancy color diamonds cost?" Diana said with dreamy eyes, her elbow on the table while her chin rested on her palm.

"Uhm… the green diamond which is 3-carats cost 4 million dollars, the purple diamond which is 15-carats costs 25 million dollars, the orange diamond which is 14-carats cost 30 million dollars and the pink diamond which is 24 carats and also the most expensive from her collection is 45 million dollars. Well, at least, that was the price back then when she bought them. They probably cost more today." Felix said nonchalantly.

Diana's jaw dropped. "That much?" She exclaimed. "How about the Galaxy?" She asked then everyone looked in J's direction.

"My grandfather bought it for 25 million dollars 28 years ago."

Everyone's jaw dropped. If it cost 25 million dollars 28 years ago, just how much will it cost now? Probably double its price?

"Aivy is willing to spend that much?"  Diana said flustered.

"Of course, if she will be earning that much or more," Lance said in a matter-of-fact tone. "It is not spending, she is just fooling everyone around. If she is going to spend a penny, it will be on the red diamond, I doubt it. Based on the market value of all the items that will be auctioned, The Children of Mt. Celandine will probably earn a lot."

Everyone went silent looking at J, waiting for her orders. 

"Arthur, can you set an appointment with Laurie Como and the Chairman of GBC Auction Ball?" J asked Arthur although she already knows the answer. She just doesn't want to sound like she is making an order.

"Okay," Arthur replied with a stern face. J nodded. "Thank you. And Felix, please continue watching over Aivy."

"Got it!"

"Help me strategize a plan after meeting with Laurie Como and the Chairman of GBC Auction Ball." Although she didn't say it to anyone in particular. It was obvious that it is for Arthur and Daniel. "I want to retrieve Galaxy without spending a single penny." She paused for a while before she said, "And also, I want that red diamond."

Everyone was surprised by her last word. It was clear that their mission is to retrieve the Galaxy, but then she suddenly wanted that red diamond. She wanted something that Aivy is coveting, so she would steal it from her as retribution.

She looked at Diana and Lance who haven't recovered from the shock. "You guys prepare for the ball."

Speaking of preparing for the ball. A woman although already 56 years old is looking youthful fitting an elegant blue A-line evening dress. Her hair is long and wavy that starts silver on the base then fades into black until the tip of her hair.

"You look stunning in that dress, Aivy. You made the right decision to match the color of Massive J. You'll become the face of the night in the upcoming GBC Auction Ball." Aivy's gay assistant complimented her. As Aivy's assistant for over 30 years now. He knew that Aivy has an irregular rise and fall in self-esteem. So, he made it a habit to compliment her beauty and talent regularly to keep her from getting stressed.

"Thank you, Hector." Her smile is charming. Aivy was a model turned jeweler because she was fascinated with gemstones. She is also very creative and artistic. She personally designed some of the jewelry in her jewelry store.

"But one of my friends mentioned that long and wavy hair is a bit outdated. Do you think it's time for me to have a new haircut?" Aside from having fluctuating self-esteem, Aivy can easily be stressed out by criticism. She easily believes them without strong support.

"Never mind, please schedule an appointment with my stylist. I have to look good at the ball. I need to prove to those young models that I am not yet outdated, that I can still surpass them despite my age." Aivy said being overly competitive.

"Got it Aivy," Hector said looking at Aivy who's checking up her image in 2 meters beveled full-length wall mirror. 

"By the way, check out on Mr. Long. Make sure that The Children of Mt. Celandine will collect a massive amount of money. If I am going to spend money, I have to earn it back ten-folds." Aivy said checking out which hair length will suit her dress by pulling her long hair up making it look shorter.

Mr. Long is one of the committees of the GBC Auction Ball that Aivy paid to make sure that The Children of Mt. Celandine will be approved to be one of their beneficiaries even if it doesn't pass all qualifications.

"I've already talked to him and reassured us that everything will go as planned," Hector said gaily.

"Good. How about Mr. and Mrs. Schimdt? I don't want any mistakes. I cannot afford to lose Massive J and all of my money because of them." Aivy said as she walked towards her desk and lit a cigarette.

"I've already briefed them. Don't worry, they were a good artist. Nothing could go wrong." Aivy made sure to hire someone from abroad that is completely stranger to her to pretend like a wealthy businessman to bid for the Massive J on her behalf. That is to avoid suspicions.

Donating her most precious collection for the charity auction was a brow raiser for everyone. Would she really donate an extremely rare blue diamond from her collection? Some doubted her while some thought that she was very generous. But she was only doing this to improve her name and image. This will also promote her line of luxurious jewelry.

The truth is, she is not donating her Massive J. She already got a chance to complete her collection of fancy color diamonds, when she found out that The Golden Red will be auctioned as well. She wouldn't let herself be one less of a diamond.
