"Actually, Little Ying this time…" Shen Jing scanned a certain someone who was still munching on potato chips opposite from her. Shen Jing cleared her mind and pulled out all the information she had regarding the Chaos Void. after sighing, she said, "This judge…" Shen Jing was being put in quite a spot given her new job as the judge. 
"Is it very troublesome?" Shen Ying asked instinctively. She just had to clear up the messes between all the planes. This made her not that much different from monitors. 
"Nonsense!" Shen Jing rolled her eyes. "Although planes rarely come into contact with one another, we can't rule out managers who stir trouble on purpose. Or even… monitors." She seemed to realise something as she frowned. "There are countless planes within the Chaos Void. I don't know how many problems there are waiting for me to solve." At the end of the day, all these things just spelled trouble. 
From the looks of it, Shen Ying was not the biggest problem Shen Jing had. There were way too many things happening within the Chaos Void. Little Ying was special, but Shen Jing knew her character best. She would definitely not do anything that would harm her plane. 
"Elder Shen, can't you sense where the dangers in the void are?" Yi Qing could not help ut ask. Even managers could sense when there was danger in their plane. Surely judges would be able to do the same. 
Shen Jing glanced at him. "By the time I sense it, it would not be considered a mere danger." She indeed could sense everything that was happening in all the planes within the Chaos Void. But what bad person would inform everybody just before he does something bad? Such things would only be uncovered when they reach a certain horrible state. By then, Shen Jing imagined that they would be difficult to resolve.
It was just like when she first became a manager and met her first invader. By the time Mi Le, the monitor, realised that someone from another plane had invaded theirs, Shen Jing was already almost done solving the problem. Now that she was a judge, things would definitely be much harder for her. Of course she would not want something like that to happen again.
But the Chaos Void really was too big, and there was only one of her. No matter how many eyes she had on her, she would surely not be able to keep a watch on every single plane. 
"Older Sister! Why don't you use this eye?" Shen Ying suddenly handed the parenting system over.

"It wasn't me!" Shen Ying put the last of the potato chips in her mouth, then turned to take Chef's storage bag from him. As she did that, she said, "It was your Chef." 
"Me?" Chef, who was just passing Shen Ying some pastries, stared blankly at her. 
"Mm." She nodded and continued, "The two of you are the managers. From the beginning, you acknowledged the parenting system's existence. It was a matter of time before it developed its own consciousness and possessed its own soul." 
Lonemoon and Yi Qing exchanged a quizzical look, then turned back to her. Indeed, they had realised the parenting system existed from very early on. Yet, they never saw it as a problem to be dealt with - even though it kept taking over Feng Ying's body. They just kept listening to its intermittent announcements through Shen Ying. 
Especially when it became a block later on, it was even harder for them to join Feng Ying together with it again. Since then, the system followed Shen Ying around like a dog. This human-like behaviour caused Lonemoon and Yi Qing to stop seeing the system as a bunch of numbers. Instead, it saw it as an individual… person? 
Both Lonemoon and Chef were managers - they represented two whole planes. If they had both acknowledged the parenting system as an individual, it was only natural that it would develop its own consciousness. 
Suddenly, they wanted to pay tribute to the whole colony of invader systems. They planned for so long and went to such great lengths to go to all the different planes, yet did not manage to accomplish a single thing. Yet, the parenting system did nothing at all to achieve what they wanted the entire time. All their planning was not worth even the parenting system's boot-licking! 
So… was it much more useful to boot-lick?

"Older Sister, can I use this?" Shen Ying paid no mind to the two confused men. 
Shen Jing kept the screen and nodded. "Not bad! With this system, things will really be much less troublesome." The parenting system was connected to the thousands of other systems from earlier. What's more, it could control all of them by itself. This meant that it had countless eyes, that could help Shen Jing with controlling all the planes in the Chaos Void. "The only thing is… Its programme needs adjusting." There were many problems with the programme that the supplementary systems were using, mostly because they were from all sorts of different planes. Since they were invaders, they would undoubtedly affect the current plane they were in. But Shen Jing was a judge. She had the freedom to enter the other planes. 
As if realising what Shen Jing was thinking, the parenting system immediately turned two rounds around her. As it flew around her, it made excited electronic noises.

He said to realize the slip of his thoughts, almost feeling sick to have brought it up again. 
Jake feels blue from seeing Giselle's expression yield to an old sulk. He panicked to scan through his jumbled thoughts to address and ended up flipping the coin to his side.
"Well, I hope you don't feel down. Parenting is hard, but there's joy in it too," he said to make peace, but Giselle returned the ball.
"Oh, you just wait and see!" she declared.
Jake sighed mutely, feeling grateful to have successfully diverted Giselle from sulking. The subject shifted to parenting, and both had exciting opinions to share. Giselle had an actual experience while Jake had visions. Upon reaching the end of their distracted chat, Giselle noticed Jake's immense desire to raise a child. He expressed his views enthusiastically without holding back.
Only someone who hasn't actually had the happenings would have such precise visions, Giselle thought. Actual parenting is a much tough job to surpass fortuitously.
"I love kids. I love them."
Nonetheless, Giselle found Jake's parenting passion to be ardent. She saw the glow in his face, especially talking about kids.

Giselle apologized immediately to have had stressed the kind man for her curiosity. Now, she was able to apprehend his love for kids. It's ingrained that he respects and values the presence of a child immensely, for having experienced its loss.
"How's Anna taking it?" Giselle asked.
"Pretty tough! She never agreed again to try for a child, because she fears that it might as well-" Jake paused, even to deny such cold thoughts, but he couldn't completely stay away from considering.
"It's hard on us, but we're doing alright," he promised her.
Giselle suggested that she could try talking to Anna, but Jake stopped her from pursuing such ideas as it would scare his wife off again. Giselle implied that it's typical for Anna to manifest such horrors, but having given birth to Lia, it would be best if she could encourage poor Anna.
Eventually, Jake agreed.
"Thanks, Giselle. It means a lot to us," he said to enter the neighborhood where Giselle lives.
"Don't worry. You're both good people."
Giselle said to see him lastly relax and smile again. She then guided him to her apartment as they drove past few people who still celebrated Thanksgiving on the streets.

Jake returned the gesture. However, his steps halted to a sudden recall.
"One more thing!" he says to grab her attention.
"I may not know as much as Anna does, but I hear that you and Lillian are pretty much close,"
Giselle's face switch to his say.
"I just wanted to say that- by the way, I knew about the two of you from Anna. I've met Lillian as soon as I started dating Anna. So, I watched her for a long time and let me tell you that after you left, she has lived her entire life suffering."
"Yes, it was quite the wild way she lived, but she never made good memories. She had us, yet she kept running away, hiding the anguish. But you know what? During all those times, she kept calling for someone, and that is how I came to know about you, Giselle."
"Giselle is the only name she kept begging to Anna."
"I understand it must have been hard for you as well, but I hope that you two can work it out together. Sometimes we think running away is the best choice, the right decision to not get hurt. But it's not, Giselle. You don't need me to tell you that."
"Just remember that you'll always have our support. Take care,"
Jake finished his little talk and led his way out of the apartment.
"Jake?"
He heard Giselle trail to call his name. He paused to attend to her.
"Thanks!"
It was a genuine sound of her voice that assured him that his words didn't fall on deaf ears. Giselle had listened to him, word by word. He felt glad to have made that stop to say something that could possibly give her the courage to fight for the love that deserves enduring all these painful years.
"Also," she called again, "you'd make a great parent!"
Her sincere wish made him smile again. The glow returned to greet Giselle, a hearty farewell.
"Thanks! I really hope so," Fingers crossed, Jake left the place with a friendly goodnight.

When Jake reached his home, he found the trio scattered on the couch. All three exhausted to fall asleep on their territories. Jake yelled, telling them to occupy the extra rooms, but none of them budged an inch to his cry.
Helpless, he chose to use physical force on them.
Diego groaned as he stood up to Jake's escort and ended up crashing on one of the guest's rooms. He returned to guide Lillian, but she yelled back at him to leave her alone on the couch, for it's her favorite spot to fall asleep. The comfort of the cushions gave her great support to rest, and she was not ready to give it up for some regular queen-sized bed with expensive decorations.
"Fine! Do as you like it!" Jake grunted to shift to his beautiful wife, thoroughly wearied out. He watched her worn-out face, dark circles peek behind the makeup, and her hair all tangled to infinite interlocks. Nonetheless, she looked a beauty to his eyes. Smiling softly to such sweet sight, he carried her gently to their room, bidding goodnight to the lost Lillian nearby.
Carefully, he put his wife on their bed, not disturbing her peaceful slumber.
Jake thought of Giselle's idea. He prayed that Anna could move onward with everyone's support and affection. Gingerly, he kissed her a lovely goodnight and soon joined by her side, ending the Thanksgiving, feeling grateful.

Author's Note:
Get Back to You is very special because it is my first novel and a bold choice, I would say. The once short story showed a lot of potentials to become a perfect novel. The character had a depth to them and an unheard voice, for which I wanted to bring justice by exploring and writing. Just like how we would enjoy a typical romance story between two opposite sexes, I wanted to tell a sweet love story of two beautiful women. Through this novel, I wish to improve people's viewing of LGBT relationships and hope that we show respect without judging.
Join the adventure of Lillian Grey and Giselle and in their struggles to come together. I'm very proud of creating this story, and I constantly work hard to bring justice to its storytelling. I hope that my efforts reap when the readers enjoy the tale as they travel through this journey.

Glass shattered as the withheld liquids spilled onto his face, and pretty much everything else as well. 
It gives truth to the fear of leaving a child alone without supervision, even if it were just a couple of minutes, that could be more than enough time for an innocent yet fatal mistake.
Luckily enough, the mistake was nothing more than harmless chemicals splattering onto the clueless head of a toddler. 
Disappointment was the expression of the absent, be as it may for only a few minutes, along with comical disbelief that so much could happen with so little time. 
"I leave you for one minute, and you couldn't do the one thing I told you not to?"
The appearance of authority was met with uncontrollable sobbing of guilt, something quite common in children that slowly fades into mischief. 
"S… Sorry…"
The fall, from the child's perspective, was as high as an eight-story drop to the next life, was nothing more than one foot off the ground onto tile flooring.
Even through the fatal fall from the youthful perspective, he still clutched tightly to his material entertainment even though life was not guaranteed passed the innocent mistake.  
The father, in the face of irresponsible parenting, does what he must to patch up the pitfall.
The father grabs a towel from a surprisingly clean table within a lab full of the opposite, each filled with test tubes and liquids of the future (or past). 
He wipes the child's face off, the feeling of guilt slowly strayed from the child as he wasn't met with discipline for his actions, even though he didn't know the difference between a mistake and purposeful action. 
"Gravity man wouldn't want you to cry, don't you want to be a servant of justice like him someday? Do you think servants of justice cry when things don't go their way?"
"Justice?" the child remained blank on the social concept.
"You know, beat the bad guys like he does." the father simplified the abstract term to a verb, not the best course of action, but useful enough for the child to vaguely understand. 
"Yeah! I won't let Rocket–Man come to our house!" the child sprouted with confidence and joy as he stood up tall from his defeated stature, quickly erasing the former emotion.
"Yes! Gravity Man doesn't cry when he saves, why should you!!" the father may have been a bit too excited when he riled up his son's confidence in a false understanding of justice.
"Ok—" the child wipes away the remaining rainfall into sunshine, a beautiful sight for anyone to see and continues "Gravity Man! Let's go beat up bad guys together!". He shouted strong at his 6-inch plastic figurine that resembled the hero of his childhood. 
"Why don't you play with your brother instead of coming in here next time, ok?"
"Yes!"
Parenting wasn't the father's strong suit, but he still loved and enjoyed the process, something that made an intelligent man seem like a lost one.

Yuki, a 15-year-old student, is having trouble dealing with the loss of his father, attempting to find normalcy while a large piece of his life is no longer there along with his robotic companion, Trivy. Everything changes however when he finds out the truth of his father's demise, which drives him to obtain enough strength and credibility in order to find his own justice. Will Yuki find the justice that he seeks, or is it even justice at all?

My name is Annie. I grew up in a big city in Texas. My parents had a good job. They meet each other at a carnival. They married two years later. They had me on July 14, 1998. Life was great til i lost them. Before i lost them they let me date. I went through a few bad breakups. My mom later in the marriage started feeling a little ill. She had a case of low blood pressure which made her faint and get dizzy every so often. My dad and I use to laugh at it not taking it to seriously. Unfortunately one day the minor illness she had became deadly. As she was cooking dinner for dad would be home soon, She became dizzy and had a little slip. It was just enough to flip the hot pan. Which caused the start of the fire. Normally we would be prepared for this kind of thing. But our fire extinguisher just so happened to be used in a fourth of July mishap. I ran down and tried to help my mom the best i could. But it was just no use. We turned around to run out of the house. But the fire already blocked the front door. My dad just got home to see what was happening. He busted through the door like the hero he was. He caught on fire by doing so, My mom stayed to try to help him and told me to go run for help. By the time i got some help it was too late. They were already dead. Now i'm on my way to live with my only living relative. My uncle rob. He lives in the mountains in North Dakota. I haven't seen him since i was 5. He always sends me presents. He always there without being there. He always calls me. Even though hes a good uncle hes never had any children. Hes never wanted any children. So i'm worried about how he will adapt to parenting me with his busy work schedule. He use to have a girlfriend which would have been better for parenting because a woman's touch. But they broke up three months ago 

Rob's Pov 

Hi my name is Robert. Only certain people call me rob. I have a successful lumber company and a great family. I have my one and only favorite niece. But with my busy schedule i don't get to see my brother or his family often. Life seemed pretty sweet til i got that call one day. They told me that my brother and his wife got killed in a home fire. After that everything bad seemed to follow. While dealing with the grief of losing my brother my girlfriend for very long years decides to leave me. My only blessing is keeping my favorite niece Annie. I hope i can be a good parent to her. I know i work long hours. Living like a single parent now i have to be careful of when and how i go on dates and even though i know i'm well off i know raising a teen can be expensive especially saving up for college. All i know is that my life is changing drastically and i can never be too prepared even though my nice is arriving tomorrow.
