        "Typha." The look on Kayla's face caused my throat to dry. Did I do something wrong? She looks like she could murder me right now.
        "What took you so long? Did you die and come back to life?" Maybe I shouldn't have laughed at her rhetorical question when her gaze could dice and splice me into slivers. 
        "I wasn't even gone that long...?" The upturn of my voice took away the validity and strength I had in my statement. "I was only gone for two hours tops-"

        "Ty. I care for you, but you are so OUT of it." She pulled her hair up into a ponytail and motioned towards the clock on the stove. 
        "You told me that your appointment ended at 9 AM. If it was two hours, you would have been home by noon-ish. Look at the time Ty." I rolled my eyes. 
        "I didn't fall asleep. Can we please, please," My hand rubbed my temples tenderly. This... I was so awake, and now I feel myself sinking back all over again. "Maybe not do this today? Please?"
        Looking at my face, she let out a heavy sigh and set down her chopping knife. Shock sparked across my face as she buried her face in my shoulder, her arms holding me tightly.
        "I thought you were the one who said that ignoring your problems wouldn't make them go away?"
        "Touché " I wrapped my arms around her and let everything from today go. "I'm just feeling good today, and I don't want anything to get in the way of it. Just for one day, I wanna pretend that all of this is real."
        "We can do that then- just for one day." A laugh barked from me at her muffled voice through my shirt. She stepped back and picked up the knife again, cutting tomatoes precisely. 
        "What do you wanna do tonight? Anything you want." It was my timid attempt at starting things over. Nothing spoke but the voice of her knife meeting the cutting board, and the soft gurgle of water beginning to boil.
        "Let's watch a horror movie? Something like that sounds good today." I nodded in agreement. While she cooked I set up the coffee table with mats and coasters for our drinks. Once dinner was ready, I started to dish out the food as she picked through amazon for a good movie neither of us have seen. After searching for too long, she finally decided on a classic 'evil creature vs a group of stupid teenagers' type film. For having such a basic plot, I was surprised by how decent the jump-scares and plot twists were. Their creativity made up for the cliched areas of the movie. 
        Perhaps Kayla made the wrong choice for watching a scary movie when it was dark and storming outside. My left arm was almost turning purple from how tightly she was gripping me, but I didn't really mind it. Watching the movie, the creatures didn't compare to what I had seen- the fantastical creatures of my dreams. In the movie, the creatures didn't necessarily eat people; the only motivation they seemed to have was... that they were the 'horrible' monsters of the movie.
        The thought made me chuckle a bit. And they were too beautiful to be monsters. They were not magnificent by human standards- I guess what I meant to say was that they could easily be docile, if the movie wrote them to be docile. They were scary, but the type of scary you almost wished was real, just so you could fix them. Make them into beautiful monsters, make them into gorgeous catastrophes. Maybe that was the allure of helping people sometimes.
        I cast a shielded glance to Kayla, her eyes completely focused on the TV. Did she think of me like that? The basic orphan story, my deteriorating mental health? I threw the thought away. The way she was clinging onto me right now, I could make a timid conjecture that she cared for me more than my problems. Her warm body leaned into mine as the suspense began to build, and I turned my attention back to the movie.
        I wished I could always be here for her like this. An arm to hold onto when she needed me, not the other way around. A minuscule sigh slithered through my teeth. The wolf-looking creature growled lowly, blood dripping from its long titanium fangs. Our speakers shook as it took in a deep, shuttering breath before it stood back on its legs, about to pounce. 
        I'll go see the Stevenstons. 
        The creature jumped down onto the teenager, and it seemed like the beast had won. Was it supposed to be surprising when it was revealed the teenager had impaled it? Barely saving his own life? Kayla let out a small noise and sat up, coming back to reality as the credits dripped down the screen.
        "Did you like it?" I asked her. She rubbed her face, her cheeks flushed.
         "Yea," Her voice was just slightly fractured.
        "Do you think you're gonna have nightmares?" The jab landed well, her mouth opening in objection.
        "Well- it was scary!! I don't know how you didn't jump at all- and there was so much blood and gore," she made a disgusted face. "I know it was fake but still."
        "Mmhmm." A slap to my arm made me laugh loudly. Oh to be so easily teased, my mind smiled.
        "But yes," She admitted. "That creature- it's eyes- it was so mangled looking. It was like if a dog had been chopped up with a blender- god I don't even want to think about it."
        Seeing the crease in her brow, I poked her cheek lightly. 
        "Wussy."
         "Oh my god I hate you." My smile began to hurt my cheeks. Getting up, I cleared the plates and started to turn the lights off for her to go to bed. She was still on a normal sleeping schedule, and I tried to keep everything else on that schedule too.
        "Are you going to stay up for awhile longer?" It was one of those questions that reminded me of high school. There was a time where we weren't so different. She had her hair died blonde back then; she liked changing things constantly. It was honestly a surprise of what she would look like each day, and I was impressed by it. Change always felt so uncomfortable to me, and to her, it was addictive. 
        "Yea, I'm gonna be up for awhile." She pretended to nod thoughtfully, even though she already knew what she was going to ask. 
        "Do you think I could spend the night in your room?"
        I held my chin thoughtfully.
        "I'll have to ask my manager, we only accept reservations." At her hand smacking her forehead dramatically, I caved in.
        "Sure," I started. "I just don't wanna bother you if at some point I fall asleep and talk or whatever else." Her eye peeked out from between her fingers.
        "Maybe it'll help both of us- who knows?" Who knows? Her philosophy sounded very academically concrete. 
        "I won't argue with a professional." Compliments always lit up her face. Her teeth flashed slightly, and her eyes softened. At that she got up and we both headed to our rooms. Returning with her own pillow, I grabbed us some new blankets and let her choose her side of the bed. 
        Though she needed to sleep, we both found it irresistible to not talk for a little bit. Our chatter was random and soft, but it was nice. We each settled down into the blankets, and when she finally decided to succumb to her much needed rest, I reached over and turned off the light. 
        After a matter of only 15 minutes, she was peacefully asleep. Wonder danced across my mind of what she dreamed of- what her dreamland had to offer. My mind conjured up guesses of random dreams with no meaning- like spilling a bag of tea cups, or riding a horse down a busy highway. Maybe her dreams were little glimpses into her goals- a house, someone to be loved by, romantic moments. If her dreams were based in the past like mine, I assumed that maybe they were childhood utterances; complete with people of the past clashing with the new 'you'- the you which had changed while your memories hadn't. 
        As I stared blankly at my ceiling, my room felt void when I realized I had left my backpack and notebook in my car. I wanted to flip through the pictures again, maybe just to re-feel the warmth they gave me for a moment. My mind wandered back to the Stevensons; how autumn break was just around the corner. It would be a good time to go back.
        Emptiness- hesitation. The voice hummed quietly, and I covered my eyes with my arm. Everything felt so wrong. Each scuff on the wall, each particle of dust waltzing through the air. The blood pulsing between my ears- the shake of each inhale and exhale. 
        The movie replayed for a little bit behind my eyes- looping back to the creatures. The voice murmured making monsters beautiful was something too human. Something naively weak and open-hearted. Nobody wanted to take a giant squid and offer it kindness, nobody would want to sit outside a boar's den to offer it company. 
        The creatures- the deadly ones. Perhaps the only way to be unafraid of them was to be more deadly. To have seen more destruction than they are capable- to understand why they do it, and side with them. Side- are there sides? The teenagers vs the monsters? 
        I closed my eyes and let out a tired breath. There's an excess of teenagers anyway.

As I and Fashia sat in the back of her parent's matte black Mercedes I laid my hand on her thigh. I could feel her shiver a bit so I asked her why she shivered. She just shrugged and said that it was nothing special. I trust her so I didn't tell against her and let her head rest on my shoulder. Her long brown hair fell on her sides over her chest and her eyes were closed. Her full lips were closed and she was so beautiful sleeping on my shoulder. She was one of the most beautiful creatures in the world. Though it did feel a bit wrong since I already had Meg. Meghan, the kindest werewolf I've ever met. Even if she comes off as rude because of her behavior against Lizzie she is one of the kindest creatures in the world. I know why she is rude against others, she sees them as a threat, and even though she will never admit it she will always try to fight for her rights as the ruler of the school. 

 As we arrived at Fashia's house I woke her up by pushing lightly on her body and talking in a quiet and soothing voice. I didn't want to wake her up from her peace but we had arrived and she couldn't sleep in the car. She was the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. It felt as if she was my soulmate. She felt so real around me. It was as if I had opened up a new side of her. Maybe it was because both of us are demons so just by race we belong but this feeling is new. 

 -Hey Fashia, I said to her as she slowly woke up. 

 -Yes? She almost whispered to me as she rubbed her eyes as she tried to wake herself up. 

 -Are you tired beautiful? I asked her and helped her out of the car. 

 -Yeah, a little. Could we cuddle and watch a movie tonight? She asked when getting up and out of the car. 

 -Of course, whatever you like. A bright smile came from my lips and I think everyone looking could see this happy man I am. 

 We walked to Fashia's bedroom and turned on the TV. We laid down in her bed and started cuddling. We laid in a spoon-position and of course, I was the big spoon wrapping my arms around her waist. We started a movie and halfway through she had already fallen asleep. I could feel my arm starting to tingle as it fell asleep but I just couldn't make myself take my arm away from her. It got late but I watched my phone when a text message came.

I'll just answer her and then I'll just text my parents that I'm sleeping at Fashia's tonight. Like from how this world form and created life. The first living being in this world were the Titans. Yup, Chaos was the origin of all life forms. However what comes next was not the same as the original Greek mythology.

Chaos give birth to Erebus, the personification of darkness itself. As Chaos was slowly engulfed by darkness; Hyperion, the Titan god of light appeared in order to equate Chaos and to stop Erebus from devouring everything. And so the first Titan was born.

Everything follows as dark and light balanced each other, another being was born. Nyx, the dark night. Born between the light and the dark, the shadows who shrouded the middle forming a line dividing the light and the dark. 

Nyx who was not satisfied wanted to swallow Hyperion but fails. Hyperion was broken into many pieces, then Hemera, the daytime came into being. Followed by Aether and the twins Astraeus and Asteria.

From then on, slowly but the world was steadily forming. The Titan Gaia was born, the same time with Oceanus and Dyeus.

They did not want to participate in any other worldly affairs that did not required their attention. Contrary to the sky dwellers, the sea creatures were not afraid of anything. 

They know everything that was happening above the surface. They did not fear the sky, for they know that the sky was afraid of the sea. They did not fear the land bacause they know that they can't reach the deep waters.

The sea creatures developed their powers in secrets. While the land was in constant war for power and territories, and the sky was hiding and was minding their own business. The sea was rising and building their own powerhouse and completely dominating the entire ocean. 

And the ocean surrounds the entire world. 

Reed watched while silently giving thumbs up to the world settings and story line of the movie he was watching.

'This was the memory of the sea and the entire ocean. The inherited Memory. Hahaha. So that's how it is. Interesting.' Reed thought that he needed to asked someone to know this information but it seems that he does not have to do it now. Although it was just the tip of the iceberg. Reed was still completely satisfied.

Reed continue watching, the first world war commence where the Giants went instinct, what remain was the so called 'Guardians'. The sky, the land, and the sea all have their own guardians protecting their own realm.

And Dyeus became the sky continent that hovers above the sky. Other Titans like Mediana, Tartarus, Aether and other also intergrade themselves to the world after falling deep asleep, completely setting the world in balance.

Nevertheless, the [Inherited Memories] seem not interested with the affairs above the surface as it focused solemnly on picking a very good brain washing information.

Reed was sure that the [Inherited Memory] was possessed by every single being the resides within the sea. 

After introducing the creation of the world and the chaos and danger above the surface. And after presenting the differences between the three realm, the [Inherited Memory] very much empathized the importance of the royal family. How every sea creature should worship and serve the royal blood line. How powerful and amazing they are. How they're very being is the embodiment of the sea itself. And how the royal blood carries the power of the sea.

Reed was not surprised. The ocean creature were always united and did not have any internal dispute. 

'So it's because of this [Inherited Memories]' Reed wanted to shout out loud for a praise to those that thought of using this kind of method.

This really makes Reed curious and interested about this world. It was dangerous, yes. But only by knowing and exploring all this wonders can Reed find his beloved person.

One by one his senses regain it capabilities. First his hearing, then the sensation of his skin, after that was his mobility, and lastly his sight.

Faint sounds of bubbles forming from the depths going up until they burst. The flow and the wave of water current, Reed emerse himself with such under the sea experience he never had before.

Although, Reed already knows that he was in the water, he was still marveling the facts that he can breathe underwater. It was very fascinating experience.

With his skin sensation coming back, Reed made to experienced another wonderful feeling. 

Reed felt he was floating. He was surprised when he perceived that the water is not cold. The warm touch of water enveloped him.

And his body, it was extremely sensitive. He can also feel many extra sensations he knew did not belong to a human.

But Reed does not care. His mind already accepted the facts that he was not a human anymore. Human or not, it was the same for him. At least he was still alive and have a chance to live and experience life with his sweetheart again.

Thinking about being alive, Reed finally recalled how he died. 

If one would asked Reed if he ever regretted his choice back then, then he will surely answer a big fat 'NO!'.

Sure, he died in such ugly and sinful way, but he died beside his Echo, and he even did it with his own hands. 

He killed his childhood sweetheart then killed himself after. Soon after, the blazing fire brought the evidence of their sins together with them to hell.

But it turns out they did not arrived in hell. They died to gain a new life!

They died with their wished unfulfilled but they closed their eyes satisfied and contented, being by each other's embrace.

He did not regret dying or killing Echo, he even felt happy that he manage to do something for her. And that ending was surely what they hope for.

But still though, Reed wanted to have a beautiful body to occupy. This body was a girl, his only desire is for 'her' to be beautiful. As much as he wanted to doubt it, Echo will like Reed no matter what he looks like. Even if he was a crippled or ugly as long as it was Reed, Echo will certainly love every part of him.

But Reed wanted to look the best for Echo. Even before, even if he does not know whether or not he was handsome or ugly, he always make sure to properly maintain a neat and clean appearance. Specially he was a very popular celebrity before.

And since Reed was now inside of another body, he is sure that his old illness will not follow him in this body. 

'It was genetics, lol. I can finally see what Echo looks like!'

Then as if realizing something, Reed became anxious again.

'This body was a girl and a mermaid. Then what will become of my Echo...'

He did not really care what his sweetheart appearance or species came to be. What he fears was her species' natural habitat.

He was a mermaid. He does not know if he can transform as a human like those in the stories. And based in the knowledge he acquired there are three realm in this world. The sky, the land and the ocean. 

Currently he was in the ocean. The land was much more easier to access than the sky. 

How can he fly?

He was a mermaid!!

He have tail fins not wings!

Letting out a heavy sigh full of worry, Reed remain blind and unmoving underwater. He does not know how much time had passed, but he just let his mind go. Not thinking anything and just let those problem be for the time being.

He just calmly wait for his body to gain capability of making movements, his eyes can follow after, and he can think of these problems again. Until then, Reed just continue to wait.

Sound good to me will be there by 7 said max, oh and thank you for the service really appreciate leaving a tip at the table as he walks out for a walk around the town.As he was walking through town he came across a large crowd all gathered to see the amazing magician perform one of his best tricks and to tell you all they always no meter how many times you have seen ,max was really amazed by what the amazing magician can do.walking towards him were three young man with two women introducing them ,hey I am David, I am Joshua and I am Jerry ,Jerry introducing there two fine looking women, this is Belinda my girl and Megan   Joshua girl ,max looking at Megan with familia face (thinking to himself mmm this is the girl I saw when I first arrived in town ,man she is a beauty ),you are two  lucky guys to have such beautiful creatures ,just wonderful. Crynn POV

"Dark, rather..." Yusuf Kama continued before  being interrupted, jeez, let the man talk for a sec. "Serious?" "Beautiful?" Jacob and Newt said at exactly the same time, words overrunning each other. But I mean, serious and beautiful are both very subjective, can't you think of anything else to say?

"You know, what I meant to say was she's very pretty," "She's also serious," once more, Jacob and Newt overlap each other, this is what happens when we don't plan who says what in this occasion. "I think I saw someone like this, last night," yeah I think I could do with some more French accent in my life, it sounds so good.

"Perhaps if I showed you where?" Yusuf Kama suggested with a very fake smile which both Newt and Jacob never noticed, and according to the movie, we're walking right into a trap. "If you wouldn't mind, that'd be..." Newt turned to Jacob whom nodded and shifted back to Yusuf Kama, "Err... That'd be lovely."

Yusuf Kama stared at Jacob and then onto Newt with an inexplicable gaze before leading away. And about 5 minutes later, we've reached our next destination. No one seems suspicious or even worried of following this man whom they just met, no one suspects a thing. Vigilance is something that's needed to be practiced more in the Wizarding World or everyone'll be digging their own graves.

But seriously though, not a single person in our entire group said anything when following Yusuf Kama into this dark sewer? This is insane! Aria showed me a puzzling look that clearly depicts the though of, 'Why are we entering such a dark, damp, corridor underneath a bridge in Paris?' Why I don't know, ask them instead.

We enter deeper going below a three step staircase into what looks like a big opening with light shining through its center, complete accommodation, wardrobes, bed, a small kitchen, all included. The bonus being, Tina Goldstein, awoken from the noise, rushing to stand up from the floor. Apparently, she looks to have fallen asleep on the bare ground with her head on a chair directly in front of a study table, wonder how that happened.

"Tina," Newt remarked, bringing Tina's whole figure into his eyes, full of adore and Jacob saluted for no reason. "Newt?" Tina looks shocked to find her ex-boyfriend? I guess they never did officially break up as Newt is indisposed when the hoax of his marriage came to be. At that moment, I heard a searing noise from my back, the sound of casting iron.

"Oh, no you don't," I instantly sliced at whatever's behind me and as I suspected, an metal door is quickly forming to lock us in but unfortunately for Yusuf Kama, I'm faster than him. With a single slice down, the casting stopped and the door evaporated. Yusuf Kama is clearly surprised and looked at me with wide eyes. He must be thinking how much of a bad idea it is to bring us into his little cubby hole.

"Kama!" Tina shoved Newt and Jacob away, even her sister whom is very happy to meet her. Yusuf Kama still had his wand raised, absolutely wary and ready to attack whenever any hostile movement is made. "Kama, put down the wand, we can talk!" Tina said out loud, trying to convince Kama, bt that isn't happening any time soon.

"I will talk! Once Credence is dead!" Yusuf Kama exclaimed with power, but sadly enough, the power is very restrained. "Kama, wait!" Tina tried to reason once more but can't get into Yusuf Kama's vengeful brain. "Either he dies, or I die!" Kama pointed the wand at us, his right eye is fidgeting, get to work parasite!

"No! No, no, no, no, no, no!" Yusuf Kama painfully put a hand on his eye and the other to bring his hat down. Slowly but surely, Yusuf Kama excruciatingly fell down, still clutching his right eye, that ended well. Tina face palmed, that's comical. "Well, that's not the best start to a rescue attempt," see the situation, Newt.

"Oh?! This a rescue attempt! You just lost me my only lead," Tina flared and strolled back to look at Newt, properly and intimidatingly. "Tin..." Queenie went forward to calm her sister down, but nope. "I told you to stay at home and when are you going to break this fragile relationship with a muggle, up?! Yes, that's you Jacob!" Yup, Tina Goldstein is really mad right now.

"Well, how's the interrogation going before we, err... turned up," good point there Newt. "Ahem, what about the Yusuf Kama guy?" Aria made an intentional cough which broke the argument as Newt rushed to check what's wrong with Yusuf Kama. "You need this man you said?" Newt surveyed the man on the ground.

"Yes, I think he knows where Credence is Mr. Scamander," wow, did she just call Newt, Mr. Scamander. That's not a very good sign. Newt is disturbed by it, Jacob had his mouth open and Queenie gave a face of disapproval to Tina. Great relationship goals. For a few seconds, the silence extended and nobody is willing to say anything.

ROAR!!! ROAR!!! ROAR!!! A loud and mighty roar generates from above us, ah great, the big magical lion is just on time. "That would be the Zouwu," more headaches for Newt. "How likely are your chances against the Zouwu?" I've seen the movie, it's a hundred percent but I want to know from the man himself.

"Err... Highly likely, won't put a tough fight. There's always a trick for every little giant creatures," ahh, boasting are you Newt? I can see why you're confident though, as the man who wrote the 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them', book, simply unchallenging. "You're going up against that giant beast and you're not afraid?!" Jacob shuddered upon thinking of the image he saw of the Zouwu, I would be afraid.

"You cannot be fearful in front of creatures, fear only brings wreckage, anger, destruction, killing. These creatures, all they want is to live, to love, to be in peace, why need to be fearful when we can coexist with them in one world," ooh, wonderful philosophy Newt, I acclaim you but it's not exactly the time for philosophy, is it? Not with a Zouwu running above ground.

The more you live, the more you know and as they say, "Death is the Next Greatest Adventure". I can't lie but say it's true, although a great adventure may include getting chased by a dragon. But hey! That's the price you pay for getting to live twice... Right??
