He took one last look at Feng Minyue, Mu Wan'Er before he took a forlorn look at Ling Feiyue, Little Princess, Bai Qianfeng and Shui Xisi. 
The nature of the trial itself forced all the cultivators to be separated again after each new level of the Empyrean Warrior Labyrinth. 
There was really nothing that Ji Yuan could do except for a melancholy sigh. 
He could feel the forlorn looks that were on Feiyue, Qianfeng, Little Princess and Sisi as they quietly followed after him.
Even though they could follow him into the blue portal at the same time but they would not appear together on the second level.
The Empyrean Warrior Labyrinth was very vast and it was estimated that there may be as many as more than three hundred thousand golden celestials from all over the Celestial Realm that were taking part in the trials. 
Some had even estimated that there were a million golden celestials!
The first level had thousands of worlds before scaling smaller in size for each level because many of the cultivators would be struck on the first two levels. 
Ji Yuan knew that it was impossible to meet them again so soon. If he wanted to meet them then they had to endure until the upper levels of the Empyrean Warrior Labyrinth where the number of worlds would dwindle down to just a few dozens.
He could only pray silently in his heart for now.
With one last look at all the maidens, Ji Yuan had entered the blue portal now; he had already said his farewells to everyone and it was pointless to linger anymore.
He now found himself in a white room with a door in front. 
"Where am I?"
In front of him were two tables and there seemed to be a mirror on the table. 
The voice of the earlier dark robe ferryman echoed. "This is your reward. You can only pick one of the mirrors."
Ji Yuan frowned. "I am a man. Why will I need a mirror for? And what is the purpose of these mirrors?"
The laughter of the dark robe ferryman laughed. "These are the Mirrors of the Telepathy. You can only obtain them in this trial and you cannot obtain this elsewhere. Even in the Immortal Realm, the Mirrors of Telepathy is quite a rare profound treasure."
"Oh?" Ji Yuan began to laugh. "Then it means that I have the lucky occurrence to find something so rare? Am I lucky or what? Quickly tell me, what are the uses of these two mirrors?"
"The Mirrors of Telepathy will allow you to contact another cultivator briefly as long as they too possess another Mirror of Telepathy…" 
Ji Yuan was startled and he had an excited look on his countenance. "Does this mean that I can contact Feiyue, Qianfeng, Little Princess and even Sisi even if we are not together? Awesome! Haha." 
But all of a sudden Ji Yuan was frowning. "Wait a minute. Did you just say that in order to use the Mirror of Telepathy, the contacted party must have another Mirror of Telepathy first?"
"That's right."

Ji Yuan: …
"Then this Mirror of Telepathy is of no use to me." Ji Yuan cursed softly.
"It will be of use." The voice of the dark robe ferryman echoed in the white room. "Because everyone that has reached for the blue portal will receive the same exact reward."
"Is it?" Ji Yuan laughed. "Well, that is great. Even though my reward isn't that rare but at least I can communicate with my women daily with this Mirror of Telepathy."
"You can only use it for free only once. If you want to use it again, you have to burn one million high grades spirit stones to use it again."

"What?! Only one free use?" Ji Yuan was stunned. "And how long does the communication lasts?"
"It depends on the distance. Usually it is ten minutes if you are outside the Empyrean Warrior Labyrinth."
Ji Yuan was stunned. "Ten minutes…this is way too short…" 
"If you use it inside the Empyrean Warrior Labyrinth, it will last less than three minutes."

With a soft sigh, Ji Yuan approached the two tables and saw that the two Mirrors of Telepathy were nearly identical except for its size. 
"Huh? Are they different or what?" Ji Yuan muttered.
He saw that one of the mirrors was handy enough to hold it in his palm while the larger mirror was twice as big and it was difficult to hold. 
"They are identical in properties except for the size." The dark robe ferryman answered him. 
Ji Yuan was amused. 
He reached out for the smaller mirror naturally because he could hold it firmly in an emergency. The larger mirror was useless to him because he could carelessly break it in an emergency. So he was not too foolish to pick the larger one. 
He was not exactly vain and he was sure that everyone else would also pick the smaller mirrors. 
This was a no brainer decision.
Xiang Li was urging him inside his soul sea. "Big Brother, why don't you pick the bigger mirror? It looks better!"
Ji Yuan laughed. "Bigger is not necessary better. This will do." 
"Bigger is not better?" Xiang Li asked curiously.
But Ji Yuan ignored her as he picked up the smaller mirror and he had opened the door of the white room.
"Xiang Li, we are going to the next level now. Are you excited?" Ji Yuan laughed.
Xiang Li said with a melancholy tone. "No. Because my sisters are all not around now."
Ji Yuan frowned. "We will surely see them soon enough. Don't worry." 
There was a sudden bright light and Ji Yuan soon found himself standing on a cliff and he was overlooking several beautiful mountain peaks and there were forests everywhere.
Ji Yuan gasped softly at the beautiful sight. 
"Look Xiang Li. Isn't it beautiful? It seems that we are on the second level now." 
But Xiang Li sobbed. "It isn't fun anymore."

"Big Brother, I'm so sad." Xiang Li continued to mutter almost inconsolably. 
Ji Yuan tried to cheer Xiang Li up so he shouted over his top. "We are going to chase the beautiful maidens of this level. With my women not around here to disturb us, we are going to bang all the beautiful skirts. Haha."
But Xiang Li continued to be disinterested and she was sighing heavily.
It really hurt Ji Yuan's heart to hear her sorrowful sighs. 
Just as he was about to comfort Xiang Li again, a beautiful voice said coldly. "Ji Yuan, what did you say just now?"
Ji Yuan was startled as he quickly recognized the familiar voice; it was Feiyue!
He quickly looked up and saw a white skirt beautiful maiden standing more than three hundred yards above him. She was indeed Ling Feiyue!
"Feiyue, it is really you?! Haha." Ji Yuan was overjoyed to see Ling Feiyue again. 
Xiang Li was now clapping her hands. "Sister Feiyue is really here! Woah, Xiang Li is so happy!" 
The reason why Ji Yuan did not detect Ling Feiyue was because she was standing more than 300 yards away and beyond his divine sense to detect.
Just as he was about to leap to Feiyue, he heard several cold coughs around him.
With an astonished look, he was startled to see Little Princess, Bai Qianfeng, Shui Xisi and even Feng Minyue appearing all around him; everyone was more than three hundred yards apart around the cliffs and they all had an astonished look.
They had all met again so soon!
Ji Yuan turned to ask Xiang Li. "Um, you didn't do anything, am I right?"
Xiang Li laughed as she was too happy to see them again. "Of course not. Now Xiang Li is happy again."
Ji Yuan inspected Xiang Li and saw that she did not become younger. 
He was secretly relieved but at the same time, he was thinking. "Xiang Li's powers are too OP…don't tell me it has a lasting effect?"
All the maidens had gathered around Ji Yuan, including Feng Minyue.
"Um, we have all met again?"
Feng Minyue muttered with a perplexed look. "What is going on? Are we really on the second level now?"
Shui Xisi took a look around and said. "We are indeed on the second level. The spiritual force here is much stronger. If we are on the first level then the spiritual aura won't be this strong."
Bai Qianfeng nodded as she agreed.
Ji Yuan was stunned when he saw Feng Minyue again. 
He muttered in his soul sea to Xiang Li. "Erm, how come Maiden Feng Minyue is here?"
Xiang Li chuckled with great delight. "That is because she likes you! That's why!"

"Don't talk rubbish…"
All of a sudden Ji Yuan was interrupted by many kicks and slaps as all the maidens except for Feng Minyue began to question him. "Ji Yuan! My lord! What did you say earlier? You're going to go after all the beautiful maidens on this level?!"
Crap! Ji Yuan was stunned. He had forgotten about this; he was only trying to cheer Xiang Li…

His clothes were burned and torn from several places whereas his body was badly wounded.
"Xiyuing! Why are you here?"
The man called with anger and frustration. He stood up to face her.
Hearing him, Xiuying flickered her beautiful auburn hair.
"Didn't I told you that keep watch on your disciples that they don't go around harassing women?"
"Tch..."
Hua Bao remembered their last meeting.

Some years ago, overcome by their young old, some disciples of Mount Hua Sect planned to force themselves on a woman from Pure Flower Palace because all of them were rejected by her.
But fortunately, that woman beat all of them to extent that a couple of them even died. This infuriated Hua Bao at that time.
Then Hua Bao went to complain and scare Xiuying but got charmed by her beauty.

"Huh? At least don't speak ugly words if your face is ugly. Every woman here including me has already decided to devout our life, body, and soul to someone so I hope you and your disciples don't bother with it."

Surprisingly Xiuying managed to destroy one of Hua Bao's eyes before other women came and Hua Bao retreated.
"Remember to keep your filthy disciples in check!"
Xiuying said to his back as he was running away.
No matter how strong he was, he couldn't fight everyone there at once. He felt ashamed, humiliated, and ridiculed. He, in his mind, decided to take revenge on Pure Flower Palace, especially Xiuying.

'Did she got to know what my little brother did with Crescent Moon Sect's female disciples? Yeah I'm sure, she wouldn't be here otherwise. Dam you...'
"Ah right, but I never thought you will be at my throat even though we didn't affect you in any way."
Hua Bao processed his thought and replied to her.
He didn't want to fight her in this situation. Saving some of his disciples, that's it if any of them is alive, from being buried alive takes priority.
"You see, right now I'm in a problem. We can fight later. I bet it wouldn't be prideful of you to fight someone who is already worn out, right Xiuying?"
Xiuying realized that he is avoiding fighting her because he is not confident in winning.
"Oh? Not very prideful?"
She raised her hand and a floating circular mirror appeared in front of her legs on which she stepped with her beautiful high heels. The mirror took her some meter above from the ground.
"I would be proud of myself if I remove a scum like your from this world. Mirrors!"
Just after she said, a large number of circular mirrors appeared around her. They were arranged in a circle, each of them facing Hua Bao. They were a total of three circles formed by mirrors around her.
"You don't get it, do you?"
Hua Bao said in an angry voice as he lowered himself and touched the ground with his fingers.
"Your powers are not a good match against mine, Xiuying."
Followed by a large sound, several hundred rocks flew towards Xiuying and her mirrors.
*THUD* *THUD*
Xiuying easily defended herself from the rocks but all her mirrors got shattered because of them.
"Hahaha..."
Seeing this, Hua Bao laughed mockingly.
Xiuying's power let her create and control mirrors. She can use these mirrors to fight her opponents. This ability is strong against opponents who use light-based attacks to fight but weak if they are using physical attacks like Hua Bao.
Xiuying was unfazed even though all her mirrors broke. She was still floating while standing on the mirror with a calm expression.
"Isn't it too soon to celebrate your win?"
All the shards that were formed because of the destruction of the mirror stopped in the middle of the air.
"Huh?"
*SWOOSH*
All those sharp shards flew towards surprised Hua Bao. Unlike their previous fight, Xiuying was now able to control the broken pieces of mirrors.
"Fuck!"
Hua Bao screamed as two big rocks appeared out of the ground in front of him to defend him from shards.
Xiuying smirked and made a gesture with her fingers.
Rather than hitting the big rocks, those shards changed their way to avoid them and hit Hua Bao mercilessly. Those shards made a lot of cuts on his body, some even penetrating his body.
"Aaaaaaaaaa...."
A scream came out of his mouth. He was bleeding everywhere from his body.
"Hehe..."
Seeing him in such a bad state, Xiuying got back on the ground while giggling.
"Weren't you saying that my powers are bad against you?"
Xiuying taunted him while walking towards him.
"You bitch!"
Hua Bao was furious. Today was not his good day.
He stood up even though he felt weak and removed his eye band showing a gouged out eye.
"Water is above the head now."
Hua Bao said as he was ready to counter-attack.

As the birds chirped, I slowly opened my eyes. Sitting on my bed, I looked out the window. Another day had just began, and the sunlight came in through the window in a beautiful shade of yellow.

" I can't wait to see who come today!" I said to myself excitedly. I went to the bathroom and take a bath, after changing clothes, I made my way to the kitchen and made myself a slice of bread with some jam. As I ate the bread, I opened an dark oak door carved beautifully to a shape of a hut.

I closed the door behind me and walked into a room full of mirrors, it was, except the mirrors didn't reflect myself, they reflect a family, who just made their way in the house. "It's so beautiful dad!" a little girl who came with the family said in awe. "I know Amber, we'll stay here for one night" a tall man with black hair answer, 'looks like her dad' I thought. The family start unpacking, the girl called Amber ran into a bedroom, which looks exactly like mine. "I want to sleep here!" she said, " Okay then sweety, me and your dad will sleep in the other bedroom" a woman who seems to be her mother answer. Amber pull out a small pink book from her bag, and also took out a pen. She start to wrote on it, "It must be a diary" I said to myself. I examined her, she looks about 10, with a long blonde hair and brown eyes, she's wearing a casual shirt and grey trousers. " You're beautiful" I said, she didn't seems to be bothered. I let out a sigh, 'Of course she can't hear you Zoey' I whispered to myself, annoyed. 

It's been about 4 years since I trapped in this house, I woke up under a huge tree on the hill outside the house, not remembering anything except my name and age, when I got in the house, I found a door which led me into a room full of mirrors, and different people came in everyday, looks like the house is rented, they can't see me nor hear me, but I can see them through every mirror in the house. I've tried to get out from the house but there seems like a barrier outside the house, which push me away everytime I tried to pass it. The only place I can visit outside the house is the huge tree where I first woke up. But little did I know my life will change in a short time. My name is Zoey Miller, I'm 14 years old, and this is my story...

When her alarm went off, Danika stretched and smiled at her familiar kitten and dragon sticker. She pulled herself over the edge of the pod and dropped to her floor which had finished warming back up to its usual temperature overnight. She got dressed and carried her laundry down for pick up and was back in her room and ready in time for her grocery delivery to arrive.

She felt like it had been ages since she'd done her daily exercises and cooked a breakfast, but when she pulled herself back into the VR-medi pod to begin her series of adventures she was feeling pretty good. 

The first repeatable quest location was in a town to the south of Windbur. On her way out of town she spotted Hearthdragon and waved to the other fairy dragon player. A very cute little house occupied the tree behind Hearthdragon, and Danika wondered if the other player had already become wealthy enough to buy a home. She surreptitiously activated her Analyze Target skill and saw that the fairy dragon wizard was already level 78, and that it was entirely possible that with a little luck had indeed been able to buy a house already.

On her way to the town of Ebonroot, Danika lucked across a couple of creatures that she didn't think she'd collected hair, tooth, scale or nail from. She stopped and checked her forum post and found a new suggestion someone had left that suggested she contact pet shops for more rare animals. Another person had left a list of marine animals that had teeth even if they didn't have hair or scales. She sent a message to the NPC dolphin bard, Sea Song Tione, after reading that one.

In Ebonroot, the repeatable quest that had been introduced during the Week of Hearts was not too difficult to find, but Danika wasn't certain that she'd be able to complete it alone. Fortunately, as she'd hoped, Hikaru counted as a partner. Having a pet was really helpful sometimes.

She and Hikaru were given a list of materials to collect. The one that took them the longest was collecting 20 buckets worth of ebony sand that had been discarded from the alluvial deposits in the nearby gemstone mine, and carrying it to the glass blower. Hikaru didn't actually carry any sand, but the firefly cheerfully accompanied ZipZing, who carried all the sand needed in the embroidered pouch that could hold an unlimited amount of any one thing.

One of the skills that Danika had eventually been able to teach Hikaru was her Assimilation skill. But Hikaru hadn't yet learned any skills on its own, until they watched the glass maker create the surfaces for the mirrors. When the soft chime of a skill learned rang out, Danika pulled up her menus, but couldn't see any change at first. When she finally looked at Hikaru's page, she felt a little shocked. 

She eyed her firefly doubtfully, but Hikaru flew in its usual lazy circles with no sign that it had suddenly learned to cut glass. It didn't seem like it was a skill that a firefly would use often either, but Danika was really curious about how Hikaru would be able to cut glass. 

After a dozen discs of glass were cut from the enchanted cylinder, that the dark sand had been magically melted and blown into shape of, they were polished. First they were ground against a soft stone, and then they were ground with paste. Danika suspected that like the olive oil processing the witch had done, the processes had been sped up a great deal within the game.

The discs of smooth dark enchanted glass were then set into wooden frames. Another enchantment was cast upon each pair of mirrors, using the double winged seeds that Danika had been instructed to gather from a Sugar Maple, the eyes of a crayfish, and diamond dust.

When the six pairs of magically connected mirrors were completed, Danika and Hikaru were gifted a pair of the small dark mirrors. Presumably the others would be sold, but the NPC was rather vague about what would happen to them when Danika asked.

Each pair of mirrors acted like, well, magic mirrors. Or in modern terms, they could be described as limited video chat devices that could only talk to each other. They had been designed as toys for couples, but Danika could easily think of a dozen times in her adventures within "Living Jade Empire" when the pair of mirrors would have been extremely useful.

After leaving Ebonroot, Danika traveled farther south and west. As MatchlessMinion had described, the farther south she went, the hotter it got. ZipZing didn't suffer the heat the way his plush furry form had, because she didn't lose health, but she felt that the air was rather suffocatingly warm. Hikaru seemed quite happy though.

The next repeatable quest on her list was in the Etain capital city, and the city was built into the cauldron of an active volcano. It sounded like a very picturesque city if you were a fire elemental, but Danika wondered how dangerous it was going to be, until she arrived. 

The city was gorgeous and the lava had been tamed by some kind of elemental magic. There were falls and fountains and canals of liquid flame running through stone channels that didn't seem to be dissolved by the molten rock that they carried. There were also broad streets, wide enough for humans to travel upon comfortably despite the tiny stature of the elemental residents, and low protective barriers between the beautiful displays of tamed lava and the rest of the city.

The repeatable quest was for a messenger animal, a scarlet peacock butterfly. The butterfly apparently didn't actually live within the cauldron city, but the NPC who would direct you to the fields of Firespike flowers where their caterpillars could be found worked in a local pet shop.

Danika also took advantage of her visit to the pet shop to take the advice of the helpful person from the forums, and paid a hefty, but not unmanageable sum to collect hair, claws and scales from another dozen new animals. They refused to let her have any teeth, as none of their animals could regrow lost teeth. Danika tried to argue that the animals could be healed, but the pet shop shopkeeper adamantly refused.

The fields of bright red Firespike flowers among the cone shaped mountains of the southern volcanic range were beautiful, and Danika regretted that she didn't have screenshots unlocked. She had enough Karma left that she could have paid the tribute to the Twin Goddesses of Memory, but she wanted to keep a reserve for emergency uses of her restore prayer, as well as maintaining a reserve in case she needed to revive someday.

The bright red and black messenger butterfly was also very pretty, and Danika was very tempted to replace the snow leopard cub for awhile.

After a great deal of preparation, Danika begins her new digital dragon's life in a very small way.

They say the "Living Jade Empire" creates individualized quests. They say it can read your mind. They say you can find your heart's desire. They say that there's never been a game like it, and they're right but… they're also wrong.

The game is a data mine, built to retell the old tales that humans have been telling each other since language was invented. It doesn't read your mind, but it reads your search history, your favorites, and your blogs. The "Living Jade Empire" is literally crafted from fables, legends, fantasies, and maybe just a bit of stardust.

But in the end, will the game be able to figure out what Danika wants most? Will the desires of other players take priority? Or, will playing it change her, until she desires what it can give her?

A journey is always made up of many small steps, and this game has still only just begun.

Mrs. Groscow observed her seventeen year old daughter as she walked down the stairs a visible scowl on her lips. Her tongue flicked through her teeth and the wine glass was swooshing dangerously on her fingers.

Jeans booty shorts and of course a purple tank top. Mia stopped at the end of the stair and crosses her arms.

"So you've resorted to flaunting? I see you gave up on your face." The first thing she uttered to her, kicking up her left leg across the right one.

Mia rolled her eyes and shifted her weight to her right foot.

"You're too fat for those shorts."Her mom points out blankly taking another sip of her drink. " You got a lot of mirrors to check that out for yourself, don't you?"

"I know. And that is why apps were created." She whispered but her mom caught  it, a small smile tugging at the end of her lips. The older woman's brow creaked app and she mused at her words.

"Why didn't you go to school today?" She chose to change the subject leaning back on the couch.

"My face." Mia obviously stated. She had vowed not to ever apply make up... Although she wanted to; apply concealer on her zits, mascara, a little lipstick perhaps.

'Oh my goodness Mia!You look like an undercooked turkey!' Her mother's words.

"I don't give a hoot miss! You have to go to school whether you look ugly, or uglier."

Luke Groscow got in at this moment. A male servant took his coat, briefcase and car keys. According to Annah, no female hand shall lay her hand on her man.

She was right to be protective, after all Luke was a male model, a really good looking male model younger than Annah by three years.

"Hey honey." He greeted his wife and made for the little drink area. "Hello Mia."He voiced to her daughter lifting the drink to her in some sort of a toss. She gave him a small smile.

He then walked back across the room and slumped down the comfy white couch. Pure fur.

"Your daughter missed school, again!" Annah started going back to the random act of flicking her tongue inside her mouth.

"Why?"

"Puberty. Look at her ugly face."

"Annah!" Luke raised his voice a little. He nervously watched Mia at the corner of his eye.

An uncomfortable silence enveloped them for about a minute.

"What's wrong with that? She's bright." Luke said in a monotone. A little low this time.

"That doesn't mean she can miss school, Luke."

"I need a shower." Luke announced downing his drink.

He walked to Mia and cupped her cheek. "You'll be fine. At least now everyone will want to look at your pretty face."

Mia smiled. Her dad always gave her hope. Always made sure she was smiling.

Yet her mom was the complete opposite. She is the one who got her a full make up set... Indirectly telling her you're ugly, yet she's still the one who hated the same make up on her.

"Just give me a minute and we'll go get that mirror, okay?"

Mia nodded. Yester night she was so mad she punched her bathroom mirror six times, getting hurt in the process.

Because she let her mother's words get to her.

They drove out of their expansive house onto a private road for five minutes before joining the main road.

Mia looked outside the window as they passed the mall. She didn't want to get her mirror from the mall because most of her schoolmates hang out there... and she wouldn't be seen dead with her pimply face.

They were going to an old shop downtown belonging to an old black man. She found the place after getting lostin the area. Of course she had to glance around before asking for directions.

"Here we are." Her dad announced stopping the car.

"I'll go alone." Mia quickly stopped her dad from unbuckling his seat belt.

She didn't want him to see her posing in front of mirrors, possibly giving herself a complimenting speech and other self embarrassing acts. "Just wait here. I will try not to take long."

"Well, okay..."

The door chimed on opening and the shop was visibly empty. No shopper appeared to be present apart from her.

"Hello?"She called looking around. The reception area was also empty. She decided to walk around the isles, admiring the fancy, plain and artistic mirrors.

"Hello?"She called out again. Last time he was here. The man was odd and always zoned out in his speech and it spooled her a little but he was no threat.

"Careful young girl, your voice might break the mirrors!" Mia whipped around immediately a little startled. The old man closed the door, made of a mirror that it actually looked like he was coming out of it.

He had the same old tired but warm smile on his face.

"Good evening Mr.William you do remember me?"

"Well of course!" He laughed and walked to her to shake her hand. "You're the crazy one, right?" His hands were rough and crusty and he possessed a firm grip. He released her hand finally and walked behind the counter.

Entirely reflective.

"What can I interest you with miss Groscow?" She was a little amazed that he remembered her awkward second name. Nevertheless, she spoke up.

"I need a bathroom mirror."

"Just that? Oh we have a lot... Framed perhaps? Slitted?"

"I need your most clearest mirror."

"Clearest?"

"Yes clearest, doesn't matter really, it'll still work."

"Well,all my mirrors are clear as you see, but you do want the clearest?"

"Yes."

"Okay then." The sir walked from the counter and walked to the door he had come out earlier.

"Come on, you have to pick for yourself... I have two of them, nobody really seemed interested in having the clearest mirror so they stay up back.

Mia nodded. She half trusted the man enough to set her teaser at 60V, not too much to kill him or paralyse him.

The back of the store was like a workshop. Wood and mirrors, noise from the glass cuter worked by a man and a set of boys preparing a frame.

"Here we are." Mr.William announced walking past the two boys.

He opened a closet and called one of the boys to help him take them out. Mr.William stood them on the width side leaning on the wall.

They were clear, more than Mia ever imagined. The surface seemed like a calm river, promising a ripple if the surface was gently poked.

But one had a slight crack on the left corner, and given the angle of a perfectionist by her mother, she picked the other one.

It was framed with dark brown wood and carved into a beautiful pattern. It looked ancient,and she fell in love with it. She took one last look of herself and smiled.

She turned and waited for Mr.William to finish showing the boys how to smoothen the edges.

"Which one will it be?" Mr.William asked still helping his boys out.

"The framed one."

"You got it, give me a minute."

Mia wanted to turn and look at it once more. Her reflection on it was beyond perfect, it was beautiful. It gave her a sense mysterious sense of security. She opted to look around the place, placing her hand over her lips.

If only she would turn then maybe she would change her mind, because her image was still smiling.

for paying the debt, i take more part-time job to help aniiki. i know he loaned to loan sharks because of me, aniiki didn't telling me because he worried that i don't growing like other, and only cares about money. i'm very grateful to have brother like him.

i don't know how much aniiki owe the money to them, however lately my brother always came late, i even only see him at morning when he was about to go work, he even didn't have time to breakfast so that time, i starting to wake up early to make him bento.

that day, when i came back from my part-time job, at the front my house there 4 people with black suit stood guarding the door. i heard my brother voice from the house

"please give me more time! i will pay the money!"

"ha? already given you 3 months! and now? you want more time?!! i already kind enough to not break your legs!"

I immediately rushed to the house and ignoring the 4 people like bodyguard.

inside, i saw my brother kneeling to a fat man with angry expression. when my brother see me, his expression turn dark and trembled.

"who are you!" i shouted to fat man. then he turns around and his expression become bright, he observed me and stopped when he looked at my chest with lust. i disgusted by him.

"hmm hmm." he nodded and said to my brother. "I will clear your debt if this beautiful girl accompany me one night how was that?" 

"Ju jun boss, i will give you our house so please don't touch haruka." aniiki shake his head and said that.

"brother!"

"it's still not enough."

"i know. give me 5 month."

"no can't do"

"ju jun boss i beg you!" the fat man shaking his head and clapped his hand. immediately the 4 black suit man rushed towards my brother and punched and kick him.

"brother!" I cried and when i about rushed towards my brother, the fat man held my hand.

"how was it? if you want accompany me they will stop and money he owe me settled."

"only one night?" I asked, i too pure at that time. i don't know about "one night' he talking about. I looked towards brother and nodded.

"good" then he clapped again. immediately the 4 blacksuit man stopped and stood.

"let's go" he said to me. 

"haruka!" aniiki called me but i ignore him. this is my chance to loosened his burden.

"yes" I followed.

he brought me to hotel. in hotel, suddenly he throw me to bed. i shocked!

"kyaah"

"nice voice!" the fat man immediately take his clothes.

"w-what are you doing?!" 

"of course to eat you"

"n-no! don't come any closer!"

"you already agreed."

"b-but..."

"enough!" then he held both my hand and take off my clothes and my skirt.

"noo!"

"shut up!" he slapped my cheeks.

"please i beg you! let me go"

"no excuse!" I very scared i crying! aniiki save me! i don't want my first with this pig. then I kicked his important part. he immediately cried of pain and released my hand.

i run towards door with only my underwear.

i running at the rooftop and hide. i can hear foot step running all the way. i sighed of relive, when i can't hear any. then something caught my wrist.

"found you!" the fat man held my wrist 

"kyaaah!" I panicked 

"hahaha " he laughed and slapped me very hard. i fell down. he at top of me and groping my breast.

"nooo! stop! help!" i shouted trying to resist. but I can't...brother!

i pushing him with all my power i have. i backwards steps by step from him.

"please stop....i beg you...."

"where are you going now?"

"please..." i don't see what on behind and keep repeating. immediately the fat man his expression become horror he shouted at me.

"oi stop!" i ignore him and still retreated from him.

"please let go of me"

"i told you stop!" he immediately running towards me. when i about to turning, suddenly i fell down from the building..

when i opened my eyes , my head hurts... when i about get up. there a gentle warm voice beside me..

"stay still child. your body is injured." when i looked towards the voice. there a mature beautiful woman, blonde hair, blue eyes wearing white dress. the weird part from her is , her ears long.. cosplay?..

"...who...?" I asked weakly..

"... it seems your head got knocked very hard.." she said with worry and sad.

"where is this?"

A gental breeze flows over your body like a blanket it covers you in its warm embrace.  You want to move but your body is numb and weak.

(What happened?  I feel.... naked?)

Slowly you open your eyes, at first the light was so bright it hurt your eyes, so you would close them.  Your breathing was shallow and you remember some of the past events.

(Who were those people?  Did I growl?)

A finger on your right hand twitches.  Slowly, feeling begins to return to your body and the pain fades.  You open your eyes again and the light is gone.  The first thing you see is a naked woman laying down in front of you.  You blink in surprise at what you see.  She kind of.... looks like you.  But her hair is longer and a deeper red, her eyes are no longer green but yellow and the most distinct thing is the long black horns that rose above her head at least three feet.  She was beautiful in a terrifying way.

(Is that.... me?)

You weakly lift you shaky hand and reach out to the woman.  She mimics your every move and once your fingers connect, she disappears.  You are now touching a mirror with no reflection.

"Remember who you are, not what you are "

A dominate womans voice echoed softly around you.  Slowly you sit up, looking around you notice the many black mirrors that surround you.

"W-who.... are you?"

Your voice quivers from exhaustion and it from the crazy events that are happening.

"Who am I?  Why would I tell you when you don't even know who you are?"

Again this voice echoed around the room with no body to be seen.

Your peripheral vision catches movement and you turn your head to see- Ryler.  Your heart skips a beat as some relief sweeps over you and you call out to him but, he only stares at you.  Confused, you stand but fall back down do to the wobbling of your legs.

"Ugh! Come on now what is going on!  Someone please help me!"

Tears swell in your eyes, as you stare at the mirror with Rylers reflection that begins to fade.

(No. Please don't go.)

The tears stream down your rosey checks as you cry in silence.  

"Don't be afraid Valina.  You just need to wake up."

You lower your head and watch as the tears wet the black floor below you.

(Wake up?  But, I-I am awake.)

Again, you see Rylar appear but he looks different.  His blonde hair is longer and he is dressed in clothing you'd see in a fairytale.  His is beautiful and soon that woman from before stands with him, being held close in and intimate grasp.  You watch as they look lovingly into each others eyes before again they fade away.

"What are you showing me?  Why am I seeing this?"

You close your eyes and wait for an answer.

"Who are you?"

"I am Valina."

"That is your name, but who. Are. You?"

You think about what the woman is saying.  You try to bring forth any memory that would answer her question, but none come.

"I. I don't know."

You rub your tired eyes and turn to sit on your bottom.  

(Please, just let me sleep.)

"No.  You must awaken Valina!"

Your eyes pop open and you nearly scream when you looked into the mirror in front of you.  You scramble backwards trying to escape the giant red beast before you.  It slowly crawls out of the mirror bringing forth one giant red-scaled hand.  Black talon-like claws scratch at the floor as it brings forth its head and other hand.  You slam into the mirrors behind you, pressing your back as hard as you can against them hoping for an escape.  You watch as the head or what looks like a dragon comes forth and towers over you.  Smoke spews from its nostrils and it looks down at you with large yellow eyes.  Long black horns scrape acrossed the ceiling causing a few sparks to fall down to you.  Tears spill forth from your eyes and you almost forget to breathe.

"You must wake up Valina, this world is dark and ruthless.  If they find out who you are before you do....."

The voice was now growly and deep but still famine. 

(Did the dragon just talk?)

"Remember us, or you will never return."

Then the dragon opened its mouth wide then anything you've ever seen possibly do.  A deep growl came with in its gaped mouth that shook the room.  Then a deafening roar shattered all the mirrors and you covered your ears with your hands and screamed and the dragons opened mouth came down over you.

Your eyes open and you scream, scrambling to your feet and frantically looking around you.  You are surrounded by trees.  No dragon. No mirrors.  Just the bright sun warming your skin and a gental breeze sweeping across your face.  You grab the white dress that now covered your once naked body and you look around again to only see nature is with you once again.

"What the hell just happened?  Am I that dragon?"

We are captured within our minds as we live blindly day to day, swallowed by our fears and wants. The only way to free ourselves is to simply open our eyes to what is around us.
