Bjorn know very well that his master are noble that really cares about his people well being. He also knows that many noble are not as kind as his master toward the peasant.
From his master letters conditions, he knows that it's already written from a long time ago. And to respect his master sincere last will, Bjorn joined the adventurer guilds.
He joined not to gain fame nor fortune like everybody else. His purpose are just aiding the ordianary peasant. He never takes quest from merchant to guards their caravans. Instead he will always takes the untouched quest that has minimum rewards from the guilds.
From his past almost 3 years as an adventurers, The guilds are rewarding him as a psudeo gold class adventurers as his titles. Gold is the highest ranks that are given by the guilds.
The guilds already given Bjorn the gold titles but he demoted himself last year since a lot request from annoying nobles and people that have big influences started to flood him.
A lot of peoples known him as the generous giant, the peasant heroes or a peasant knight. And some peoples who just dont like him called him pretentious horseman. He never mind any of those nickname that peoples give him.
Right now Bjorn already settled with a houses in Pavel villages. It's a villages that are just outsides the Braten town where the guilds is.
He get along with the villagers and the villagers treats him very well. They even let him join the villages meeting and treats him as one of their important peoples, even though he just move in last spring and no one knows that he was once a real knight.
Bjorn has a big house with stable and barn in Pavel villages. The villages doesnt have high walls like the ones that usually far away from towns. It's a very safe places to live and some soldiers on a horses will patrols around the area everydays.
"I've already prepares your meals Mr.Bjorn" a familiar woman voices called to him when he is brushing Bravery.
"Thank you Siel, you and Mel can take a rest if you've done all the works." said Bjorn to Siel.
Siel is one of the two servant that Bjorn hires to take care his home and himself. The other ones named Mel. Bjorn found both of them as a hostages on a bandit den last summer. 
Siel and Mel are cousins. Both of their parents that are merchant get slaughtered by the bandits a day before they brings them to their den. Bjorn give them options to work for him or go their own way since they are already young adults.
Both of them choose Bjorn first options, since they knows that they dont have anyone to return nor the connections to look for decent works. 
They know that the worst thing can happen if they choose the seconds is either they become jobless and starves to death or becomes a town harlot that are as good as dead for them.
Both of them are pretty smart girls, since their parents are merchant and they had better educations than ordianary peasant. The night when they arrives at their new homes, they decides to serve Bjorn with their body.
They think it's better that ways than getting their bodies defiled by other mans. Good looks that Bjorn has is also the other reasons that make them decides it. The other thing is they are afraids to be abandoned and by Bjorn and become homeless.
Siel have kind and calm demeanor. She is attractive, fair skinned 19 years old beauty with long straight blonde hairs and dark green eyes. She is a older sisters figures for Mel.
While Mel has more straight forward personalities than Siel. She is also attractive beauty like Siel. But unlike her cousins, Mel hairs are a little bit curly and has dark red colors. She braided her red hairs that are as long as her back and only untie it when she sleeps or serving Bjorn in bed.
The similiar traits that makes everyones believes when they tell them that they are cousins are only their fair skins and dark greens eyes.
They are very glads and content about their choices to becomes Bjorn servant in these past seasons. A little bit of uneasiness and sadness still lingers in them but they are really doing very well these past seasons. 
Bjorn decides to get insides the houses after he is done taking care of Bravery. Siel and Mel already sitting and waiting for him at the table. Breads, meat stews, fruits and a jar of ale already prepared for him. They then ate their dinners together after he sit.
"Hey, is it really okay for us to sits at the same dining tables as you?" suddenly Mel ask Bjorn questions with timid voices.
"Hey, Mel..!!!" Siel raises his voices a little.
"But, usually you and me. Both of us didn't eat together with our servants at our home. And right now we're the servant." Said Mel to Siel.
"Your home is your home,Mel. But right now we're at my home. And i am no nobels,traders or knight so their rules wont apply to me." Said Bjorn to Mel. He can feels uneasiness on both of them.
"A seasons has passed since both of you work for me. And i am very grateful about all the housework that you've done." Praises Bjorn.
"I know that it's been hard for both of you after losing your families. And what happens already happens, but you can relly on me as your master from now on." he adds.
"So this kind of talks to make you being too considerates to me, i will forbid from now on. But if something do bothers you just tell me." said Bjorn to both of them.
"We understand Mr.Bjorn. I am sorry for our impoliteness, thank you for your kinds words." Siel replied.
"I am sorry Mr.Bjorn." Mel follows.
"Good then." said Bjorn before they all continue their dinners.
Bjorn told them that he will prepares for his adventures tomorrows, so he will spends the night at his barns. He said to knocks on the barns if they need something from him before he left.
Bjorn can feels that both Siel and Mel are still distant around him, even thought they already works for him since summer. But he already knows that even they already works for a season with him, they only meets less than 10 times.
Bjorn mostly spending his times on the roads. He only come back to his house if Bravery needs to take a day off or when his quest are pretty close by.
He grease and cleans his equipment while thinking about them. He already slept with many girls on his life, but it's mostly short encounters like Sonja. It's the first time for him to take cares not only one but two at the same time.
The night at it's darkest when he is done preparing all of his equipments. He blows the candles that give a dim light in the barn. Then he lay his bodies at the hays and cover himself with warm blankets.
'It's definitely warmer when there is two of them sleeping besides me, but i will end up doing them all night and lose my stamina for tomorrow if i do so.' Thought Bjorn before he falls into slumber.
Bjorn wakes up at dawn. He opens the tin that has dim embers and blows it to make it more lit. He then use it to lit the candles. After the candles are lit he wears his armors and prepared equipment.
He wears sleeveless gambesons that already modified with mail sewed to replaces the sleeves over his tunic. Then he wears Brigandine armors that are as long as his thigh over his modified gambesons. He also wears a leather belts over it.
He finished after he put on his shoulderguards,bracers,and gloves that are made from a plates and also a leathers boots that are reinforced with plates.
He slips a dagger and a hammers to the belts that has the seath for it around his stomach. He then carry his bags and his pollaxe to the stable.
Bjorn then began to put Horse mail armors over Bravery bodies. Bravery willingly let Bjorn put the armors over his body. They have already been togethers for 8 years. 
The first time they meets Bjorn are still 15 years olds while Bravery is 5 years olds. Their trust are forged from all the battle that they have been through.
"I've bought you the drieds foods rations and ham sandwich for your lunch todays Mr.Bjorn." He can hears Mel voices calling over him. Her voices are still raspy probably just get up from her sleeps.
"Oh, thank you Mel." Replied Bjorn. he already done putting the armors and Pollaxe on Bravery.
"Umm.... i am sorry about yester...." Said Mel but Bjorn cut in before she finished.
"What you said yesterday are not something to apologise for. Now i will ask you, did you happy to serve me...?" Ask Bjorn after cutting her.
Hearing Bjorn questions and and looking straight at his face makes Mel face turned red before she answered shy.
"O..of course, there is nothing to complains about our living coditions." She said with a light smile on her blushing face.
"That's good then." said Bjorn before he walks toward her and kiss her forehead.
"You and Siel are part of my houses right now, so you can relly on me." said Bjorn to her. He is happy when he see her sincere smiles.
Bjorn can see Siel already standing and smiling near the trees in front of the stables when Bjorn kisses Mel and told his words to her. He then come to her and pat her head before kissing her in the forehead too.
He said his goodbye to them after that kiss and wearing his helmet. The sky already a little bit bright even thought the suns are not up yet as he ride on Bravery back.
With one less worries left his heads, Bjorn onces again set on a adventures to fulfill his master last orders.

"Please give me the permission, Your Majesty. I'm even willing to sign an agreement with you. If the port doesn't show satisfactory results within a year, the Charles family is willing to be stripped of its nobility status and be demoted to commoners!"
Charles gritted his teeth and knelt on the ground.
This shocked all the nobles.
In the Noah Kingdom, the nobles did not actually have to kneel to the royal family.
The kneeling was a display of Charles' determination.
Of course, what was even more shocking was that Charles had actually gambled with the fate of his entire family on the line.
It had to be known that death was not the most terrible fate for a noble. Even more terrible than that was losing their nobility status.
Losing their nobility status meant abandoning everything the Charles noble family had, including their noble tradition, their noble history, and their past glory. All of these would be lost.
No one had expected a fine banquet to end up like this.
Most of the guests were silent, watching the situation develop quietly.
Rennes stood unmoving, seemingly in deep thought.
In truth, he had already noticed Charles when Charles was still discussing this matter with the other nobles.
In the end, Charles could not hold back any more and wished to explain the matter directly to Lifa, but the other nobles were naturally unwilling to let him do so.
And so, the quarrel began.
Rennes was already rather interested in this matter before this, especially after listening to Charles' explanation. And now that he had witnessed Charles' determination, Rennes was filled with even more anticipation.
Although Charles' actions were a little impulsive, he had a really good reasoning.
Rennes had to admit that the guy was quite to his liking.
Especially the word "commercial trade is the future". Upon hearing that, Rennes instantly felt that Charles was a rare talent. 
He could see the shortcomings in the development of the Noah Kingdom in comparison to other countries.
Charles was, without a doubt, a visionary of his era, but he was unable to devote himself to political aspirations.
Therefore, he spoke boldly not long after Lifa took the stage.
Although the timing was a little wrong, it could be forgiven.
Looking at the two figures who stared at each other in silence, one kneeling and one standing, Rennes made up his mind.
Lifa had received a traditional education since she was young.
Those things bore the ignorance of the times and could not clearly envision the future.
But Rennes was different.
After all, he was an elite youth from the 23rd century Blue Planet Federation.
He walked forward.
He looked straight at Charles and asked, "Charles, I'm willing to give you this opportunity. I only ask for one thing - I want to see your port become the best port in the eastern region of the Arnold Continent. Can you do it?"
Charles' eyes widened at Rennes' words.
He raised his head and was so emotional that tears welled up in his eyes.
He bowed deep at Rennes and shouted, "Thank you for your kindness, Chief Consul. I definitely won't let you down!"
Charles' words echoed loud and clear in the banquet hall. Everybody looked on in shock.
Rennes smiled in satisfaction.

"Alright, let's get down to business," said Aella, moving over to the meeting table, where the scratches she had made into the table looked old and worn.
It took several minutes for everyone to get situated, and then she jumped up onto the table with a laugh.
"I've finished moving all of the people in the old city to the new city!  Isn't that great!" she laughed, throwing her arms wide in glee.
"That's fantastic!"
"Awesome!"
"But, what about the palace?" asked Bridgette, once everyone had calmed down and Aella had jumped back down to sit.
"I plan to get started with that as soon as we get back.  Your library has already been built, but I have all of the humans living in it at the moment.  Rupert, how busy are you?" asked Aella.
"I'm still making buildings, but I could definitely do with a change of scenery if you need me to make buildings over in the human town," he replied with a grin.  "I might find someone who catches my eye."
"It would be nice if the people over there had homes to move into," said Alfred, with a nod.  "That would let them start getting their lives back."
"What about all of the fencing and farm separating you were going to do?" asked Aella.
"I did a lot of combinations between walls and ditches, to separate things out at the beginning of the week.  It only took me about a day to finish, as fences and ditches are much quicker and less complex than buildings and houses."
"The farmers and ranchers were very happy to have a place for their animals, and to start preparing the land for crops next year.  There was a lot of talk among them of getting wood from the woodcutters to start building houses and barns while the weather was so mild," said Orolon."
"I've been taking them back and forth, and moving the trees they've felled each day.  They should have plenty to keep them busy for a long time," said Aella, thinking of the massive pile of logs she had moved in the past week.
"I do have some concerns about how the sewers work," said Xathtak, turning to Rupert.  "Where does all of the sewage go?  We're not near a river to wash it all away."
"There's several underground rivers that I'm using to keep everything flushed clean.  The main one, that the waste goes into, heads straight to the ocean, so there shouldn't be a problem with it contaminating anything.  We will need to keep an eye on things when it rains, though.  I don't know how bad this land floods every year.  I may need to form more drainage ditches in the future," explained Rupert.
"That makes more sense," nodded Xathtak.  "So, the water does come from a river, just one underground."
"Yes, and it should all be good for drinking, too.  I made several watering troughs for the animals to have water, as well," he said, turning to Aella.
"That's good.  I hadn't thought of that.  Have you heard anything from the flyers?" Aella asked, turning to Varnin.
"Which ones?" she asked.  "The ones sent to scout the area should be back tomorrow to share what they've found before heading back out to scout in a different direction.  The ones that you wanted to go out searching for people across the kingdom, haven't returned as far as I know."
"I may need to check on that," said Aella, thoughtfully.  If they had met up with any people who hadn't made it to the city, they might not have been able to get them there before she was done.
"I suggest you let Alfred and another group of flyers go with you," said Varnin.
"Why? They can't help me teleport people," said Aella, confused.
"They could spread out and would make searching old villages and homes faster," said Frederik.  "There's a lot of land to cover."
"Especially if you still plan to head south in a couple weeks," added Alfred.  "I think it's a good idea to let others help when they can."
She nodded hesitantly.  It was hard to let others help when it was just so much easier to do things herself.  "Tell me about the city.  How has everyone been settling in?"
"There's still a shortage of housing overall, but I think it's going well.  There's plenty of empty houses for people to be moved into, so it shouldn't be a problem for Rupert to go over to the human city for a day or two," said Destov.  "The soup kitchens are busy from sun up to sun down, as trade hasn't really started back up.  Several groups have left to found their own towns, and the hope is that they will bring goods back to the city to sell.  A few people have opened their shops, but there's a distinct lack of materials and goods for them to buy in order to produce anything to sell.
"The other nobles have been struggling to keep up with everything in their districts, but I feel that will calm down a lot once we have everyone housed and trade starts back up.  When do you think you might start moving the noble houses again?" Destov asked.
"I plan to have everything in the palace moved by tomorrow night, except for a few things that will have to wait.  Then I want a group ready to go with me, including Alfred, Frederik, and General Brimsey, so we can start searching the rest of the kingdom for any stragglers.  Once the palace goes, anyone who is left will be killed by the blast.  Once we are done searching for people, I think I will move the houses and anything else that may be of value to the new city.  I need a place to put things that don't necessarily go into the city."
"There's an unused field to the north of town, that would work, Your Majesty," said Ernun.
"Then it may be more than two weeks before you head to the other races?" asked Alfred.
"Seeing to the other things in my kingdom trumps seeing the other races.  I want to learn more about the heroes than what has been taught for the past couple thousand years, but my first priority is to my people.  We'll see how long it takes for us to get everything done, before we can go to see the elves and the dwarves."
Alfred and several of the others nodded.
"Is there anything else to discuss?" she asked, looking around the room.
"Will there be a barracks?" asked General Brimsey.  "I know that the wall has rooms all around the city, but I was wondering if there would be a central location for the people to train and spar?"
"I think I want them to spar and train near my castle in the middle.  By having the troops and guards stationed all around the city, it will take the same amount of time to report to any problems for every district," said Aella.
"The inner wall also has rooms and passages if you wanted to station some people there, too," said Rupert.
"That's good to know," said General Brimsey with a nod.
"Other than the dungeons under the new palace… err, castle, will there be a prison?" asked Ernun.  "The dungeons are getting a little full of demons who are only causing minor trouble, and I would like to have a place to put them that's a little more obvious to everyone, to try and keep small troublemakers from causing problems."
"Well, there can be some open-air cages, suspended around the town?  Put people there as punishment for a time based on how much trouble they've caused.  Post guards to make sure that no one tries to free them.  That should help.  I want the dungeons for those who cause more serious crimes," said Aella.
"That's more of what I was thinking.  I'll get some people on that as soon as I get back," he said with a nod.
"Your Majesty, in the old kingdom there were whole towns dedicated to recycling trash that was collected around the city, but we don't have that here," said Xathtak.  "Do you want me to start small trash centers in each district to deal with the trash for that specific district?"
"Yes.  Have each noble be in charge of overseeing it.  If any fall behind and their district starts to look bad, I want to have it where the people can choose to move to another district, where the noble is doing a better job.  That way, if each noble wants to stay a noble, they have to work at it," said Aella.
"How exactly will that effect the noble?" asked Ernun, confused.
"I'm going to allow each noble to tax the people in his or her own district, and then pass on a portion of that tax to me.  For keeping their districts nice, they will become richer, but only if they can make it where the people want to stay."
"Won't that cause a problem with all of the money being hoarded?" asked Destov.
"No, because each noble will also have to pay for any problems that arise in their district out of that tax.  If they need buildings built or roads repaired, they will have to pay for those.  Also, when I decide there will be a city-wide celebration, each noble will get an opportunity to show off with decorations and food in their districts," she said with a grin.  These were some ideas that she had gotten, talking to the people over the past week.  It was amazing, and kind of disturbing, what some of the ideas had been.

The demons had been told they were evil for so long, that they believed it.  Aella vowed to change that.  She just needed a hero to help her make them realize it.  But first, she had to become their king...

The royal capital of Dragra was completely shaken and upturned in a single night. There was no home left untouched, right from the lowest classed commoner up to the highest nobles and the five great families.
The Majeir silver army broke in and out of every home, suspicious or not.
However the level of damage done was entirely dependent on the Majeir silver army or rather it was dependent on the recent actions of the noble in question.
The homes of some nobles were briefly breezed through, it could be seen that these nobles were the fortunate ones who had not displeased the higher up,
While other less fortunate nobles even had their beddings overturned and their roofs brought down, it seemed the higher up who had sanctioned the search had taken measures to ensure a few nobles received extremely specialized brutal treatment.
The nobles were outraged, however, who could dare speak up against a royal decree?
Those who even dared show the slightest signs of disagreement where immediately accused of being accomplices to the assasination attempt on the crown prince.
The nobles were in great peril as they could only swallow their grievances and watch their homes being ransacked in order to not to be accused of disobeying a royal decree or worst, having a hand in the crown prince's disappearance.
This was an event that had not taken place within the kingdom of Dalagh in too many years and so it came as a shock to all the citizens.
The king of Dalagh although powerful had always treaded cautiously in his dealings with the nobles and this was due to the presence of the five great families.
The five great families were conferred statuses of great power and dignity by the founding king of the kingdom of Dalagh and most of the nobles although not part of the five great families, they were talents that had been recruited by the five great families which earned them their noble status.
In order not to stir up conflict between the royal house and the five great families, king Ragoth had tolerated most of the unpleasant actions of the nobles but this did not in anyway imply that king Ragoth was weak or lacked sufficient influence, it also definitely did not imply that king Ragoth feared the five great families.
King Ragoth had only given the five great families this respect and had taken a step back hoping they would take the initiative to discipline their underlings, a few of the five great houses had taken the hint, naturally there were still those that didn't, hence king Ragoth had been planning to take drastic actions for sometime now...all he needed was the opportunity.
The Majeir silver army had approached from all directions, everything had happened swiftly and with the great efficiency that was a characteristic of the reverred Majeir silver army.
The occurrence was so astonishing that at the end of the night, the commoners had to peep out of their homes constantly first, none having the courage to be the first to step out at the break of dawn.
Even the animals in their barns remained absolutely quiet, they also seemed to have no intentions of braving a step out after the events of the previous night.
It was well into noon when someone finally stepped out and slowly others joined in as well, however the sights that met them had them almost running right back to their homes.
How could the commoners not be terrified, when had they ever seen the homes of such reverred nobles in such disarray?
Doors were broken in splinters, fences were brought down, some homes were missing roofs... the sight was truly too astonishing.
The royal capital instantly became alive with all forms of gossips and speculations as to what had actually happened and what exactly had caused the great general Cassimir to fly into such a rage that he quite nearly brought down the entire capital city.
At the same time, others who were more informed were curious as to whether the crown prince had been discovered to be in the custody of any of the noble families.
While the most informed who suspected that this whole situation had been staged and the crown prince was not missing at all, these group wondered what exactly the nobles had done to offend the king and incur his wrath to the extent that the king even mustered the great general to personally handle the situation.
They also wondered just how many noble families would be brought down due to this unfortunate event and exactly how far the king was willing to go before his wrath was abated.
In the meantime, there naturally was still that silly group who did not care much for the political implications of the events that had taken place but instead revelled in the plight of the nobles.
This was certainly a great opportunity for some of the commoners who had suffered an injustice from the hands of one noble or the other to vent their anger.
These silly group of people even went ahead to personally embark on a mission to compare the fates of each of the nobles to be able to ascertain who had been affected the worst.
They rushed from one ruined home to another, offering sympathy where necessary with great delight in their hearts.
"Ah...the noble houses in the East are barely left standing! I heard general Kyan Majeir of the Majeir silver army had been assigned by the great general to the East." One of the commoners said, lifting his head up high above his peers as he boasted of being well informed.
"General Kyan?! The most ruthless of the Majeir silver army?!" Another commoner exclaimed in shock, exchanging looks with his peers around him.
"It is indeed that general Kyan. However even for general Kyan, to be this brutal in ransacking the home of the nobles, isn't it a little too overboard?" Another commoner asked in concern.
"Ah, what do you know?...if it is general Kyan who is famed for his ruthless methods, then this much can even be considered to be taking it easy with the nobles. At least he still ensured to leave them a roof over their heads, this must have taken a great level of restraint from that general Kyan." Another commoner said, seeming to have a lot of knowledge on general Kyan's disposition.
"The noble houses the great general visited personally are also said to not be fairing any better, I have even heard the vacation home of Lord Vin was badly destroyed." Another spoke up.
"Badly destroyed? That is a grave understatement! I heard of this news and was compelled to go and confirm it for myself. I saw with my very eyes. Lord Vin's vacation manor cannot even be called a house anymore...it was completely brought down! It's a wasteland there!" A commoner confirmed.
"Beyond this, fort Tugha, fort Jund and fort Hinter are all in a similar state as the capital city! Most noble vacation homes are in these three nearby fortresses and the Majeir silver army completely overturned every noble house in these fortresses!" Another commoner exclaimed.
"Ah... even the city gates were all sealed off, I heard some nobles who had tried to bribe their way through the gates to escape the search were captured... and executed!" Another commoner exclaimed in a quiet whisper.
"A military force with the ability to leave such an impact in the royal city and all the nearby fortresses in a single night...such an outstanding military force, it can only by the Majeir silver army." One commoner exclaimed, eliciting echoes of agreement from the other commoners.
And so the news continued to spread throughout the capital city of how great general Cassimir and the Majeir silver army in their bid to find the crown prince had already overturned the royal city, literally leaving not even a single stone unturned.
Meanwhile back in the palace, reports upon reports piled up in the audience hall till the report shelf was practically overflowing with reports.
Each of these reports requested the king to hold the great general accountable for his presumptuous actions.
The court ministers requested the great general be summoned at the morning court to explain his actions the previous night as well as be punished for his contempt of the nobility.
Outside the palace, the scholars had gathered to petition the king for the very same reason, obviously stirred up by the nobles as most of the scholars in the academy were offsprings of nobility.
In all these, king Ragoth of Dalagh had remained quietly within his rising dragon quarters, not paying attention to request of the court officials who sought his presence in the audience hall.
And on the other hand, great general Cassimir and the Majeir silver army had also dispersed as quickly as they had first assembled, innocently returning to their military base to continue their usual duties after leaving massive destruction in their wake.
With how they had returned to their military base, it seemed the great general and the Majeir silver army were not even the slightest bit worried for the consequences of their actions.

Urik woke the up with a roaring headache, the strange fluffy birds that seem to drop fruit provisions for his group were always chirping and singing to one another. His brow was sweating from the humid air that he would wake up to for the last several days. It had almost been a month and a half in the Rift when he guessed only a week passed on Earth. They had been fighting off strange dinosaur looking creatures, hunting very large elk, and staying hidden and protected from the loud roars coming from the south of their camp. No soldier or scout wanted to go out to investigate the sounds alone for its echo was possibly causing a sense of primal fear in them.
Urik rubbed his head and took a two pills, something to help with his headache. Though he was running out, he didn't expect it to take so long to find the Chaos Beast responsible for the Rift to appear. All he knew was that it was strong enough to make such a large expanse without turning it into a Chaos Tear. Having sent out scouts in the areas nearby led to them able to collect Beast Crystals that were much better quality than some he has seen. The Beta and Alpha tier crystals had more energy coming off of them than normal, like the place was enhancing the creatures.
Putting on his armor then grabbing his shield and warhammer Urik stepped out of his tent to be greeted with a morning commotion.
With a sigh, Urik went to ask, "What is going on, speak up or I'll make you all do training reps for the next two hours." The group of men and women turned and saluted to Urik.
"Sir," a woman responded, "we have yet to hear back from the last scout deployed, Sir!" Urik let them rest at ease, they all went into a resting position behind their backs. Urik looked around the base and then back to the group.
"Who did we lose?" Urik placed his hand on his forehead.
"Lieutenant Barns, Sir!" The man next to the woman responded sharply. Urik squinted as he eyed the soldier.
"How do you know he is lost and not just scouting?" The group stepped aside and found his gear all broken and torn apart. As Urik saw the devastation on the gear, he walked over and picked up a few pieces.
"We believe he was attacked by some vicious creature sir, it isn't like Lieutenant Barns to be caught by surprise." Urik thoroughly checked every piece he picked up. Luckily, he didn't discover any blood. With a sigh of relieve but quickly turned to worry. 
Urik looked at the man, "Where did you find these?"
"Two clicks South West sir. We also found a battle site that had taken place, but as you probably saw yourself, no blood." The soldiers all stood at attention waiting for his order.
Which Urik gave, "Alright, assemble 4 others that will accompany us and leave the other 14 to guard the base. Stay in radio frequency at all times, go dark if necessary. Be back here in 10 minutes!" They all nodded and were dismissed, leaving Urik to examine the scraps for himself.
'What kind of creature could do something like this and not leave a speck of blood on the gear?' He thought to himself. Urik wasn't one to shy from a fight, but he didn't know what his adversary was, or how it worked. He spent a lot of time as a strategic specialist in the United Armed Forces before having gotten his powers as a Tank. He built battle plans, estimated the power and number of enemy soldiers and armor the enemy side had. But this, ever since the Rifts opened more frequently, he has yet to get a grasp of what enemy he would face. He didn't have back up plans, no strategy, or even a guess on what could have done something like this.
Setting the scraps back down he sighed and cracked his neck letting out a sigh of relief. He needed it for the moment, it was a thing he would do in order to straighten himself out when he was nervous or scrambled. Allowed him to focus on what he can see, which he did take another look at the clothing and gear.
'Looks like the force to break an Delta tier weapon like this was definitely strong. The clothing is torn and shredded as if cut by a blade of some sort.' He ran his hand across the edges, 'Though the cuts were messed with somewhat as to possibly throw off anyone guess as to if it was a weapon or a natural attack.' He brought it to his face and took a whiff of the cloth. When he did, his eyes opened and he pulled it away.
'There is no smell?' He sniffed again and still nothing. He knew Lieutenant Barns wore a type of cologne that smelt like a skunks butt and tangerines, but he would always say his wife loved it. It's like it was washed away by a stream. He would smell again and find that it was maybe somewhere wet and with a lot of water. Though he had to count for the rain that falls every so often in the day.
Urik set the items down and nodded, "Someone had tampered with these and made it look like a creature or he barely escaped. He is a wily one, but not that wily to escape with no injury." Urik turned to find that the two had returned with the group of other soldiers. A healer, two Evokers, one summoner, and 3 warriors. This would make him the tank of the group making a total of seven units.
He nodded, "Good, made it here quickly and without much alarm either, impressive." Urik smiled then reported to his soldiers that he had discovered that Barns was likely attacked then found out that his gear had been cleaned. No blood smell or even his perfume. Which many shivered by the thought of his smell choice of cologne. He also told them that it is likely a creature or even a humanoid creature with enough intelligence for something like this.
"We must be aware at all times, no mistakes, no one gets left behind." Urik hefted his hammer into the air. "We travel South West!" The others hollered and followed Urik to the gate. He pounded his shield as the Evoker in charge of the door lowered it back into the earth. The group of 7 headed out and the door closed behind them. Urik had the man known as Jack lead him to where they found Lieutenant Barns' gear.
Jack was a scout like Barns, but Jack had the ability of communing with animals and nature itself. For he was the one to discover some unique things about the world as he found out from the birds that they could eat anything but preferred fruit. If angered or threatened, they gather in a large swarm and pick the meat off the attacker's bones. Jack was useful for his ability when animals were around.
Being that his ability allowed him to commune with nature, meant he could use it to track people, creatures, even manipulate plants to his will. He couldn't summon them, they had to exist beforehand. Right now, Jack was taking the lead as he was following the tracks left behind as they had finally came upon the clearing of fallen trees, slashed ground, and tossed stones. Whatever attacked Barns wasn't there to play with him. It was intent to kill him. But the question remained, what did it?
Urik ordered a clean sweep of the area, soldiers from his group scattered from Urik as they all started searching the area for clues. For roughly 10 minutes, nothing was found other than churned dirt, presumably claw marks, and spatters of some odd liquid. When someone poked the liquid with a stick it began to dissolve and melt away. Urik didn't like the idea of Barns being melted away. But that wouldn't have explained why his gear was broken and cut up.
Urik decided to step forward and place his hand on the ground whispering words to himself, "Hand of the Almighty, guide my path to the one who is lost, I ask for clairvoyance." With finishing his sentence, Urik felt his body become lighter briefly as he saw a path of blue light leading him into the forest further south. Urik stood and closed his fist, "Form up!" His soldiers regrouped with him as he lead them away from the scene.
Getting to see the blue energy meant that Barns was alive. Though if it showed up but not gone anywhere, it would have told him Barns was dead. With the hope that Barns was alive, meant he was more determined to find him. Though he was going to get an earful from Urik as it was his job to report back often. As well as for getting caught.
Urik marched his forces south, heading for a dense part of the forest as the ground became soft and muddy. He was close to Barns' location as the blue energy had gotten brighter. Though the problem was that it had led up into a tree, very high up and unable to be clearly seen. Urik placed his hand on the tree and then felt something nearby.
Activating his detection ability, he counted 6 Chaos Beasts were closing in on their location. He called out to his men to make a protective formation of the healer and the casters. While he and the Warriors would protect them while having their back to the tree. The beasts leapt from the water as 6 legged reptilian creatures sprang at them. The warriors held spears and swords, though using each one with a shield. The two spearmen had raised up their weapons to catch the beast landing on them. While the one swordsmen prepared a counter attack.
Urik slammed his shield into the ground and submerging some of it into the water. His hammer raised high as it glowed with yellow and sparked flames to life. His activated his taunting ability which compelled the beasts to attack him. Each of the reptilian creatures looked at Urik as they shot out their tongues and ran at him.
One of the Evokers had cast an ice wall which caused the beast's tongue to get trapped in the ice. While the other sent up earthen spikes to pierce another one. Two had reached Urik, but the spearmen managed to stab one while Urik himself brought his hammer down on the creature's head. The impact sent a sound wave rippling the water around them. As it suddenly caught fire even while standing in the water the beast couldn't put it out.
Each of the creatures weren't easy to put down as each one took multiple hits from his warriors and Evokers. The reptile's hide was incredibly strong and their 6 legs helped in mobility. With sticky tongues and sharp claws, these beasts weren't easy to fell. Urik even felt that his hammer was hitting stone as if it was a normal sledgehammer. But luckily if one was frozen in ice it made attacking its body much easier. So having Hilda, the ice Evoker, with them really was a stroke of luck.
Having fought off the beasts for only a few moments, it looked like Urik and his men had the situation under control. But something bothered Urik as his detection aura had managed to locate another 30 creatures. All converging on their location. Preparing for the worst, for each of the reptiles were close to Alpha tier by themselves. Which didn't make their chances of survival very good as 3 warriors, 2 Evokers, a healer, and himself. He could take a lot of hits before he needed to heal, but 30 more of them was going to be the death of the group. 
He watched as they climbed down from the trees, from under the water, and all he could think was how they could get out of it. As he braced himself for the assault, suddenly several spears of ice rained down on the creatures. Skewering one after another as they approached the group. Some stuck to trees, other impaled into the water, while one had its head pierced in front of Urik.
From up above, Urik looked to see a black figure falling from the tree. When it had landed, it did so on the large ice shard in front of Urik. The figure had a black cowl on obscuring his face, a long black coat, and a book floating next to him. The book's cover had a glowing blue gem that blinked at Urik. In front of him, was the Renegade.

After just barely managing to defeat it, he had unlocked a power all his own, the powers of the great devourer and destroyer of worlds, Fenrir, the god of Ragnarok. He had acquired the "Chaos System."
