The Lavender Town Syndrome (also known as "Lavender Town Tone" or "Lavender Town Suicides") was a peak in suicides and illness of children between the ages of 7-12 shortly after the release of Pokémon Red and Green in Japan, back in February 27th, 1996.
Rumors say that these suicides and illness only occurred after the children playing the game reached Lavender Town, whose theme music had extremely high frequencies, that studies showed that only children and young teens can hear since their ears are more sensitive.
Due to the Lavender Tone, at least two-hundred children supposedly committed suicide, and many more developed illnesses and afflictions. The children who committed suicide usually did so by hanging or jumping from heights. Those who did not act irrationally complained of severe headaches after listening to Lavender Town's theme.
Although Lavender Town now sounds differently depending on the game, this mass hysteria was caused by the first Pokémon game released. After the Lavender Tone incident, the programmers had fixed Lavender Town's theme music to be at a lower frequency, and since then children were no longer affected by it.
One video appeared in 2010 using "special software" to analyze the audio of Lavender Town's music. When played, the software created images of the Unown near the end of the audio. This raised a controversy since the Unown didn't appear until the Generation 2 games: Silver, Gold, and Crystal. The Unown translate to "LEAVE NOW."
There is also the said Beta Version of Lavender Town.

The world was in chaos once news spread. Other countries knew of this because of their spies, news anchors or satelites. Americans knew of this because of the spreading fear! A hacker group had sent the whole video to all Americans and what they saw did not reassure them. First, a teenage boy of fifteen years threw another one into a bus with one hand then flipped the bus towards oncoming police cars and the police inside got lucky as they jumped out. On the other side, a girl threw another one inside a shop with a flick of her hand without touching her.
 The police aimed their guns at the boy and that was when everything became scary to the point of shitting one's pants, golden clouds covered all of New York in seconds! The boy said something but because the surveillance camera did not the function to record audio, nobody heard it but the hackers were considerate enough to put a subtitle. When they read the words, everyone felt as if they had been plunged in cold water! As if to confirm the words he said, golden lightning started falling all over New York unceasingly!
 Properties were damaged and lives were taken. Just when it seemed that New York would be gone, the girl from before ran and hugged the boy. The clouds dispersed and then the lights covered all if New York as the damages done to everything was fixed. When everyone watching thought it wouldn't get freaky, the dead started waking up. They saw someone burnt to mere bones by the lightning come to life! First, his bones became white then they started filling with muscles and inner organs then outer muscles and finally skin! He was good as new in seconds! Then, the two if them disappeared and with them the lights, leaving behind a quiet New York!
 When the video was sent to the rest of the world, it was like they discovered new life. Everyone was in the topic, some saying it was fake and all but when their governments put a bounty on the two teens, the critics were stunned before they started supporting the government and saying no human should be that powerful! Mutants had never got that much hate even when Magneto almost killed the president! But not everyone was against them. The Catholic Church declared the two teens children of God sent to save humanity from their vices. It warned any country brave enough to touch them would be considered an enemy of the church and that they would go to Holy War against them!
 This brought so much criticism that the Catholic religion was almost uprooted from all over the world. But something unprecidented happened once again. The most Islamic nations declared that the two were children of Allah and any country that dares to touch them would be an enemy of the nations. Then, as if agreed upon, the nations agreed to stop their wars, rebellions and dedicate to find these children of Allah to their stronghold! 
 Countries like Russia, China, Britain, Canada, USA, India and Japan we're scared when they heard that. They started deploying troops into the countries, hoping to cause unrest in the country and humper all their efforts and it succeeded as their intelligence agencies looked for the two all over the world. But they had forgotten the Vatican and that was where everything started going downhill. The Vatican had an personal army of fanatics and they were trained from since they were children! If you want to find a loyal army, they were one.
 The Vatican went into action, going to all the countries they had churches and started spreading the word. When the countries sent soldiers to fight them, they discovered one thing, the Vatican has too much money! The soldiers had had their X Gene forcefully awakened and they were fighting a bunch of mutants with heaven defying powers. The soldiers were decimated! The countries got a wake up call as they were reminded about why the Catholic Church is still there even with their vices in the earlier centuries and the vices now! They had real power and now in the modern times where weaponry has become more advanced, the Templars had become even more terrifying! The countries only had one word to comment.
 "SHITE!" the president's, Vice ministers, Kings and queens said at the same time!

What happens when two siblings awaken their mutations which put them in the class beyond the Omega mutants? How will humans and their fellow mutants act towards them knowing they have the power to eradicate them all in whim? And for the aliens coming to Earth for conquering, how will the two siblings react towards them?

PS: I do not own Marvel characters, just the OCs I will introduce here.
 Also, this will not be an incest, harem kind of novel so for those who wish it might be then be warned.

"There's more?" There can't be anything worse than this video. My fate is sealed as a female thug who forces men to become her plaything. No man will like a woman like me.

"Yes." He takes my phone and types something. He returns the phone to me when he is finished. "Take a look."

I don't know what I am expecting. A news blog appears on the screen. I feel like my blood is draining out with each word that I read.

'Back on F Corporation, Fang Aisa, the wayward and illegitimate daughter of the only heir of F Corporation chased her fellow student and forced him to say that he wanted to become her personal plaything. She uploaded the audio recording on her social media accounts and also misused the school broadcasting system to play the audio in her school. This has left a huge scar on the poor boy and her fellow students. She tried to attempt suicide when the headmaster of H High School and the parents opposed the idea. After spending some days at the hospital, she found the boy again and made that video. In the video, the boy is bullied and traumatized by her. The F Corporation has denied the accusations and claimed that the boy is actually her fiance. This doesn't explain Fang Aisa's actions. However, the mother of the boy has also confirmed the news and stated that the wedding will commence when both children are adults.'

Crap! 

"But, I already have a fiance." I force the words out.

"The Mu family broke the arrangement after they saw the video." Sung Jun pats my back lightly. "I asked someone to make sure that they get the video."

"You!" I push his chest. "How could you do this? Nobody will believe that you are my fiance on your own volition. Besides, we are only fifteen."

"F Corporation wants to save its reputation." Sung Jun lies down on the bed. "They contacted my mother last night after Mu family broke the arrangement. My mother agreed on the condition that you will give her grandchildren as soon as possible."

His mother is scarier than him. 

"But..." I might have wanted this in my previous life. But things are not the same anymore. "I don't love you."

He blinks at me with surprise. "You still say something like that after taking advantage of me last night."

"It was just a kiss." You are the one who bullied me countless times. 

"Yes, I wonder where did you learn to kiss like that?" He pulls me close to him. "Fang Aisa, who did you kiss other than me?"

"Why would I tell you?" I try to free myself. "I can kiss anyone I want."

"No." He presses me down with his body. His face is so close that I can feel his breath on my face. Involuntarily, my heart starts to beat rapidly. "Who said that my body is only yours? In that case, I should do my job seriously. You will never be free for anyone else."

I shouldn't have provoked this devil.

"I am hungry." I try to change the topic.

"You can eat me." He sucks my earlobe. I let out a moan before I can stop myself. This doesn't help with a dangerous situation. He bites my earlobe.

I steel myself against the things that I am feeling. "What the hell are you doing? Let me go."

"This is my 'mark' on you." He bites me on the neck. "I should leave as many as I can."

"Noooo!"

Sung Jun is taking a bath. I take this chance to escape. A boy in his late teens falls on his face when I open the door. 

"That hurts..." The boy cries in pain.

"Who are you?" Sung Jun said that there was only his mother in the apartment. Where did this clown come from? 

"You speak Korean?" The boy jumps on his feet like a monkey. "Sister in law, I am Sung Jun's cousin and friend. My name is Bae Jaemin. It is a pleasure to meet a great personality like you. Not only that you managed to woo Sung Jun, but you also outsmarted him multiple times. You even managed to force him to become your fiance."

That's not the truth, you dimwit.

"I am super lucky to have a sister in law like you." His eyes are shining like a dog. "I will support you no matter what. You have tamed the devil himself. You are the queen."

"..."

"Sister in law, what do you want to eat? I can cook anything you want." He straightens his back. "I am professionally trained."

Professionally trained to cook?

"I have to leave now." I chuckle and close the door behind me. "Tell Sung Jun and Aunty that I went home." 

It's better if I leave before they notice.

"Sister in law, are you not going to spend time with me? I will show you Sung Jun's childhood photos." He looks at me sadly. "I also know about his fangirls. I will tell you all about them."

The offer is really tempting, but I want to save myself from the devil himself.

"Next time." I make my way to the front door in a hurry. "You can ask my number from Sung Jun and send me the pictures." 

"I will, Sister in law," The happy boy reply while showing his teeth. 

"Goodbye, Bae Jaemin."

Marcus, Jeff, Michelle and Luis exited school in a hurry once the day was over. The worry on their faces was noticeable, each one trying to make their pace quicker than the other. Their minds went back to the time Calvin had called Michelle later that day.

"Come to Old Bob's Abandoned Garage after school. Make sure nobody's following you. And for your sake and safety, stay out of Stevens' sight."

As they approached Old Bob's Abandoned Garage, they tried to guess why they were being called. Each one was so occupied in their own thoughts that Michelle was almost run over by a car while crossing the road. Jeff was the most pissed of the four of them. Everything was surely going perfectly until Calvin decided to call them. Luis noticed him fidgeting and held his hand, calming Jeff instantly.

"We should not enter the garage from the front gate, " Michelle said as the garage came into sight.

"We can enter through the opening we had first gone in through the other day," Jeff suggested.

They all nodded and made their way to the back of the garage where they sneaked in through the opening on the fence. Once inside, they moved stealthily, using cars as their shields and keeping an eye out for any other people who might have been there.

They reached the shed they had hid before and squatted being the iron sheets. Michelle then dialled Calvin's number. They all suddenly jumped when they heard a ringtone sound from behind them. The four then heaved a sigh of relief when they saw Calvin, who was looking at them with the same expression of surprise on his face.

"Calvin, you gave us quite a scare!" Michelle started. Calvin offered her his hand for support and she took it, hoisting herself up. The other three thrust themselves up and looked around.

"Yeah," Jeff chimed in. "With that ginger hair of yours, you look like a scarecrow. Your eyes were actually about to pop out."

"Sorry for the fright," Calvin apologised. He scanned his eyes around the area and then turned back to the students. "Has anyone followed you?" The four shook their heads vigorously. Calvin then motioned with his finger for the four to follow him and they went up to the back corner of the garage. There was a trap door on the ground. Calvin went ahead and motioned for them to enter. To his astonishment, the four teenagers took a step backwards.

"How do we know if this isn't a trap?" Marcus asked.

"There is someone in there. You'll have to take my word for it, " Calvin answered them.

"I'm claustrophobic. I can't enter there," Michelle spoke, and the three boys nodded in agreement. They were afraid to enter an unknown room, especially one that was underground. Calvin looked at them inquisitively and shrugged in approval. He then went to the trap door and called whoever was inside out.

The four took another step backwards when Maxwell emerged from the trap door. Alarmed, Luis grabbed a steel rod that was nearby and pointed it to Maxwell, ready for attack. Calvin sensed the tension and stepped in-between the two parties.

"Okay, let's calm down everyone, " he told them.

"What's this puta doing here?" Luis asked, the rod still pointing to Maxwell.

"Relax. He and I are only victims," Calvin replied.

Jeff stepped forward. "Victims? What do you mean victims?"

Calvin glanced at Maxwell and nodded? Maxwell then took out his phone and played the audio, the voices cutting through Calvin's flesh even deeper than before.

The four were left speechless when the audio was over. They could not believe what they had just heard. Their leap of faith in Stevens had almost cost them. Marcus was the most shook out of all of them. He was the one who had made the decision to tell Stevens what they knew and the guilt coursed through his blood, igniting negative emotions along the way. He couldn't take it anymore. He marched forward to Luis and grabbed the steel rod from him. He then went to the nearest junk of a car and started hitting it's bunker and windows, shouting all kinds of curses. Luis had to pull him back to stop him from doing any further damage.

"You need to chill out man! With all that noise you're going to get the whole neighbourhood here!" Maxwell scolded him.

"It was my fault. It was all my fault," Marcus kept on muttering to himself, his hands on his head. Michelle approached him and held him by the shoulders.

"It is not your fault Marcus. You didn't do anything. We all trusted the wrong person," she tried to comfort him.

"Yeah," Jeff added. "We were fools for thinking he was a good guy."

"Me too," Calvin said, his eyes gazing far away, absent-minded.

Marcus eyes suddenly widened with realisation. The five looked at him with concern as he paced up and down.

"Guys," he started, his tone serious. "I am now really sure Stevens may have been involved with Sheila's death."

"What! How?" Michelle exclaimed.

"Think about it. Maxwell here had said that Stevens was at the parking lot at the time of Sheila's death. What if he was covering for either Arnold or Clement who had one inside to murder her?"

Marcus' logic surprisingly made sense. They let it sink into their minds for a while.

"But that doesn't answer the question of why," Maxwell was the first to react.

"Maybe she saw them doing something bad and wanted to report them," Jeff guessed.

"Alright my people. Maybe we might have gone overboard with this thing. I haven't really seen the three actually murder someone, " Calvin commented.

"Obviously you didn't cause you were kept in the dark about the true nature of their work," Luis replied.

"But where are we going to get the evidence of our claims? You do realise that Timothy's still a bad cop," Michelle questioned.

"Yeah he is, but he is a bad cop to the other side of bad, not Stevens'," Marcus countered.

"We have a problem," Maxwell said, stepping forward. He had a look of panic on his face. "If you go ahead with that you might actually put a target on my back."

Everyone kept quiet, Maxwell's words launching them into deep thought. This theory had crossed out Maxwell as a suspect, but the four teens still had their doubts about him. Given their experience with Stevens', they were certain that maybe he would double-cross them. However, if he had lied to The Shadow and they found out, he would then be in serious trouble.

"I think that we should all sleep on this," Calvin suggested. "We can regroup here tomorrow to figure out how we can attack this in the best way possible. You closed school today, right?"

"Yeah. I support him," Jeff replied. He needed a break from all these things that were happening.

"Okay then. We'll come here at exactly ten in the morning. Goodbye, " Michelle told Calvin.

"Goodbye," Calvin answered the four as they left the garage. After they left, Maxwell approached him.

"They are never going to trust me, are they?" He asked him.

Calvin turned to him with a weak smile.

"Trust must be earned."
