Yeremov đang đi Anh nên Tống Á chẳng còn đường nào thăm dò tin tức nữa. Hắn nghĩ một lát rồi dứt khoát gọi thẳng cho Sherilyn, có điều điện thoại đã tắt máy rồi, người quản lý của cô ta là Tim cũng tắt máy rồi.
"Người phụ nữ này đúng là đen đủi." Hắn cảm thán.
Halle lao vào phòng Tổng thống như một cơn gió, đặt một tờ báo trước mặt Tống Á.
Gương mặt Sherilyn xuất hiện ở ngay tiêu đề tờ báo, cô ta và Tim, còn có cả Charlize Theron, người đã lâu ngày không thấy tăm hơi, đang cùng đi vào bệnh viện nào đó, 'Cơn bão HIV lại một lần nữa kéo tới, thầy dạy diễn xuất nổi tiếng Roy London bị chẩn đoán đã bị lây nhiễm, các sao nam sao nữ lũ lượt đến bệnh viện, Sherilyn là người hoảng hốt nhất!'
"Tốt nhất là anh cũng đi kiểm tra một chuyến xem." Halle dùng ánh mắt nghi ngờ nhìn Tống Á.
"Được thôi, vừa lúc anh thấy có một bệnh viện cách đây không xa."
Tống Á cố ý kéo tay cô ta, "Chúng ta đi thôi."
"Đừng, em không muốn lên báo đâu!" Halle lập tức cuống lên, ôm lấy sô pha liều mạng phản kháng.
Tống Á kéo cô ta ra khỏi sô pha, mất đi chỗ dựa, cô ta không thể làm gì khác là nằm bò ra đất. Tống Á tiếp tục kéo, cô ta lại bám lấy tay nắm cửa, nhất định không chịu ra ngoài.
"Được rồi được rồi đừng làm loạn nữa." Taraji đến tách hai người ra, "Sếp, sao cậu cứ như một đứa trẻ con vậy, lúc này rồi còn dọa cô ấy."
Halle bò dậy từ dưới đất, căng thẳng đến độ nước mắt bắt đầu tuôn rơi, phát vào lưng Tống Á một cái.
"Roy London là gay, làm gì gây hại đến phụ nữ được."
Tống Á đợi tâm trạng của cô ta hồi phục lại một chút, mới cười nói.
"Anh thì biết cái gì chứ? Cùng nhau ăn cơm cùng nhau lên lớp đều rất nguy hiểm." Halle nói.
"Làm gì đến mức đấy, Earvin Johnson "ảo thuật gia" dương tính với HIV vẫn vào chơi trận all stars của NBA mà." Tống Á nói, "Đây là thường thức rồi chứ? Các con đường lây nhiễm…"
"Chuyện này đâu thể có tâm lý may rủi." Halle ngắt lời hắn.
Tống Á ngẫm lại, cũng đúng, "Vậy phải làm sao? Dù sao anh cũng chưa ngủ với phụ nữ không an toàn, em thì anh không biết rồi."
Halle lại đánh hắn, "Em chưa từng ngủ với ai ngoài anh! Trong hai năm nay…"
Hai người đang cười đùa thì lão Mike bước vào, "Lúc nãy tôi nhìn thấy cô Sherilyn, cô ta vừa vào ở căn phòng dưới tầng."

Michelle Wu sighed heavily. Her final trump card did not work either… She knew Nikolas would be difficult to convince. But she did not count on him to not even bat an eyelid when she confessed. Anyway, it was his disconcertingly sharp stare that gave her the stage fright. She suspected he could shoot laser beams out of those eyes if he was given enough motivation. Fortunately she had not given him enough motivation or else he would have fried her to a crisp by now. 

"Michelle! That was amazing! You actually made Prince Charming stumble and show some emotions!"

Michelle looked up to see her friends running over from where they were hanging around, pretending to mind their own business. Apple and Christine looked like children who had been given their favourite candies. Things must have gone smoothly on their side.

"He looked like he wanted to kill you! Ah, but even his angry face is sooooooo pretty! Today's my lucky day!" Christine had a dreamy look as she raised her new smartphone up high. She was staring at the display with awe.

"Let me see."

"Here!" Christine playfully shoved the phone into her face. "Come on, kiss him! I know you want to!"

Instead of dodging away from the phone, Michelle stuck out her tongue and licked the screen.

"Yuck! Michelle! That's so gross!" Christine had immediately pulled the phone away, but it was too late. "I just bought it too…" She looked as if she was contemplating to throw the phone out the window.

"Serves you right." Michelle smiled with satisfaction. "You know I'm not that crazy for him." 

"But you just licked him!"

"Nope, I licked your phone to disgust you. Apple, what'd you get?" Michelle turned her attention to her other friend. Apple's real name was April Chen, but since Apple was easier to pronounce than April, it became her nickname since she was little. 

"A nice video of you two." Apple answered calmly, still busily tapping the video app on her phone. "There's no usable audio except for the last part. Also you two were a little too far away. If only I could bring my super HD video camera… but that would be too obvious." She replayed the video of the confession up to Nikolas' parting words in front of Michelle. Christine was right, his angry face was dangerously handsome.

"It's a shame we can't include his voice." Michelle lamented. Nikolas sounded so cool too despite the fact that he was telling her to go to hell. She giggled a little seeing how ticked off he was in the video.

"Yeah. I was thinking to edit it into a short 10-second clip with no audio. The title should be 'Prince Charming Confessed to No. 1 Beauty and Rejected Harshly'. What do you think?" Apple skipped the video to the end. "Video quality is excellent. Especially over here, he looked so desperately angry as he walked away. Easy for people to believe he had just been rejected."

"Sounds great. It'll surely be popular." Nodding calmly,  Michelle was reminded again of why this unassuming girl was never someone to be looked down on. Apple could come up with the best idea to create hype within seconds.

"It's a good way to start off the term. Throw a firecracker with the loudest bang, and then keep up with interesting updates of your activities." Apple was a meticulous planner like that. She'll be a successful social media gossiper for sure.

"Ah, but Michelle, you told Nikolas you are going to spread rumours about him being gay?" Christine was busily rubbing her phone with a wet wipe, but her ears never missed the best gossip she could overhear. 

"Are you crazy? If really I do that my social accounts would be littered with so much hate and death threats from his fans. I'd be harassed online and offline, possibly assassinated within a few days." Michelle pouted. She knew Nikolas's fans were a lot more obsessive than hers. It was regrettable, but accusing him of being gay would only backfire on her. And she had a feeling Nikolas knew it too. 

"That's too bad." Christine pouted too. "I'm his fan too but I don't mind the gay rumour." 

Don't mind? Michelle suspected Christine would be elated. 

"In any case, like he said, he really didn't care what people thought of him. During high school, there were all sorts of rumours about why he transferred school, but he never came out and said anything to defend himself. In the end, a lot of teachers had to take the initiative and asked everyone to stop making a fuss about him."

"That serious?" Christine never failed to dig deeper.

"Yeah. It went so far that some were saying he was the son of a mob boss and he'd killed people. Others said he was expelled from his old school because of a fight with some powerful people's heir. Then some imaginative students tried to connect him to European mafia because he could speak some European languages. Evidently all these rumors made girls fall head over heels for him, and they craved more wild rumours. Finally it became a cycle of craziness."

Thinking back, Michelle had a feeling the Nikolas of that time were less approachable than now. At least nowadays he talked when he had to.

"Of course some jealous retard who wanted to sound reasonable simply said his grade was not good enough to graduate from the school so he had been booted out. I personally don't believe that." Said jealous retard was her ex boyfriend.

"So what's the truth?"

"Nobody knows the truth but him. That's why the rumours went out of control. His old school was an exclusive school for gifted students. Apparently students from that school were so dedicated they don't have time to spread gossips."

"Wow, he's so mysterious." Christine had stars in her eyes.

"Yeah, very mysterious." Apple also had stars in her eyes, but for completely different reasons. "I should focus on his account a bit more. Or maybe I should open a new one that depicts him in a darker, more mysterious light? It would surely be able to attract fans of mysterious boys."

Michelle was at a loss for words. She thanked her lucky stars that Apple attended this college with her. Because of Apple's interest in social media marketing, Michelle shot to stardom in only one term of college, and even got the title Number 1 Beauty of Business Faculty. Nikolas's fans would surely hate her for it, but the attention on her would skyrocket and drown out her competitions. As a result, her popularity would rise even more. Michelle smiled contentedly.

"I should go and edit these pictures. I want to post them as fast as possible." Christine said eagerly as she turned to leave. Christine was a true fangirl of pretty boys. She had a few fansites of pretty boys of the college, but her fansite of Nikolas was the one with the most followers.

"I should go edit this video too. See you later." Apple was already on her way out, trotting after Christine with renewed vigor. 

Michelle bid them goodbye and grabbed her bag. Time to leave for her planned evening activities.

As she left the room, Michelle was reminded of how Nikolas left the room in anger. She had always known he was not the unmoved person he tried to be. It was just a facade. She had been observing him a lot last term so she noticed quite a bit. Like how he sometimes had a small smile when something funny happened around him. And he would seemed a little concerned during quizzes and tests. Also at times she thought he looked lonely, especially when everyone was enthusiastically participating in class discussion. 

Her conclusion was, Nikolas totally cared about everything going on around him, but he refused to participate, or even allowed others to see his feelings. He had tightly concealed himself into a shell. She wondered how he would be if the shell was not there.

I am not a prince charming. I do what I do and I like what I like. I kept to myself and never bothered others. But others kept bothering me. Could you just please leave me alone?
Nikolas Tse was an average college student. Or he thought he was. But with good looks and tall stature, not to mention his intense eyes, he became a reluctant star in college. He wished people would leave him alone.

Andrew woke up at the crack of dawn, from Noriko kicking him in bed; he left quickly, with her snoring and sprawled out on the bed.
"Yeesh, I always thought sleeping next to a girl would be nice, but it's just hair and kicking." 
Andrew sat in front of the main computer, still sleepy and groggy.
                "Is there something I may assist you with?" 
                "What's the news for today?" 
                "Globally or regional?" 
                "Hmm, let's go with Global." 
                "The top news for today, is that Professor Charles Xavier has published his paper on mutant classification." 
                "Alright sure, bring that up." 
                "10,000 page research essays have been loaded." 
                "Ooookay, can you give me the vital points of it? Way too early to be reading that." 
                "Synopsis is now being displayed." 
"To classify a mutant's potential in a singular word is to discredit and deter further growth. A mutant is never done evolving, just like every other living thing in this world. Words like Gamma, Beta or Alpha's have no place in today's society. With time, focus and hard work any mutant can become an Alpha level mutant. In a time of turmoil and unease, should all help one another grow and not cage them." 
"Is this professor a mutant as well Hawkins?" 
"He is classified as a Gamma level mutant, ability not listed." 
"Do we have any stun guns in the armoury?" 
"We do, would you like to take them out to the firing range?"
"We have a firing range as well? Whatever I just need their batteries." 
Noriko awoke at midday, stepping out rubbing her eyes still, with messy bed hair. 
                "Hawkins where's Andrew?"
                "He is currently screaming in pain, inside the training room. Oh he has stopped and is now currently rolling around on the ground."
                "Hmm, is he still dying?"
                "He is currently trying to get up, but is failing miserably."
                "I'm getting breakfast first; let me know if he gets worse." 
                "Very well, I should inform you that, Andrew has cooked a meal and would like your opinion on it. You should also meet him in the training room in your field uniform, at your earliest convenience."
Noriko walked into the training room with a bowl of beef stew, looking at Andrew lying on the ground, drenching in sweat.
                "Did you actually cook this?"
                "Yeah I did. Is it good?" 
                "Yeah it's really good, but what did you need me for?"
                "I think I found a way, for you to bypass your charge up time. Put that glove on." 
                "Why does it have two prongs on the tips?" 
                "Just put it on and squeeze this battery."
Noriko clutched the battery, feeling a surge of electricity in her fingertips; she quickly shot out a small lightning bolt.
                "Hey it worked!" 
                "What was that about?"
                "You told me that you have to generate your own lightning before you can manipulate it. That takes you about a good solid minute. You squeezing a tasers or stun-gun battery, gives you a quick charge of lightning to throw and unless you hit them in the heart or eyeball, it should be non-lethal."
                "How long have you been awake for?" 
                "Woke up at 5am from you kicking me and flinging your hair all about. Seriously felt like I was sleeping next to a small Chewbacca." 
                "No one asked you to sleep next to me."
                "You really are giving me attitude when you can't sleep in your own room, because this place is empty at night." 
                "I can't help it alright; this place is super creepy at night." 
                "Whatever, just keep those batteries in your pocket from now on. That should get rid of your charge up time." 
                "What if my target is bigger? You can't expect me to walk around with a generator." 
                "Break more batteries, you should be able to focus them into making a small barrier, while you charge up your real lightning." 
                "Have you thinking about how to help me and train, this entire time?"
                "Yeah, because I am the Senior Avenger and a hardworking..."
                "He is lying, he spent the last six hours watching cooking and animal videos. He has only been training for the last 40 minutes." 
                "Thank you.... Hawkins."
                "You are welcome sir." 
                "Is there anything else you needed me for?" 
                "Yeah one more thing, could you carry me back Nori, I can't really move my body. Using my Chi three times is my limit." 
Noriko turned around and left without saying a word.
                "This ungrateful ass..." 
Andrew made his way to the main computer, finding Noriko sitting there reading a file on the screen.
                "So what are you reading?" Andrew asked.
                "Just updating my profile." 
                "You still need to update it?" 
                "Well with my abilities growing, thanks to you, I figured I should list myself as a Beta mutant now." 
                "I thought you had to do some kind of test to see what level you are. I didn't know you could just change it on the fly." 
                "It's not that, I listed myself as a Gamma, Laura believed I was a Calamity level. Now I'm starting to believe Laura was right about me, and I'm going to only get stronger." 
                "Giving yourself an upgrade only to a Beta, how humble of you." 
                "Shut up! What's your profile say about your powers?" 
                "I updated it the moment I used Chi. Look it up and be amazed."
                "Oh god this is gonna super stupid isn't it?" 
Andrew started giggling and holding his mouth shut.
*Powers: Anime and God.* 
Noriko looked at Andrew groaning in pain, face palming and shaking her head, as he burst out laughing.
                "You're such an idiot. Why would you put that on your official record?" 
                "To be fair it is true, besides have you seen S.H.I.E.L.D's list of active Avengers? We are scarily weak right now." 
                "How bad could it be?"
                "Hawkins, please bring up all active Avengers."
                "Active Avengers; Spider-man, Captain America, Wolverine II, Hawkeye, Black Widow and Mockingbird." 
                "WOW that's it?" 
                "Yeah if you think that's bad the last three on that list, don't even have powers or mutations." 
                "Oh my god, we got so lucky that day." 
                "Yes we did."
                "Is there anything else you would like me to bring up?" 
                "Actually I've been curious, why did Tony Stark name you Hawkins? Is it an anagram or acronym?"
                "I am named after Tony Stark's sexual conquest over Miss Universe winner Jennifer Hawkins." 
                "He seriously named you after that?" Noriko asked.
                "There's no way he banged her." Andrew said.
Hawkins started to blaring pictures of Tony Stark in bed with her, with Rick Astley, Never gonna give you up playing on the speakers.
                "OH GOD WHY?" Andrew said looking away.
                "I DID NOT NEED TO SEE DONG TODAY!" Noriko screamed.
                "TURN IT OFF HAWKINS!" Andrew ordered.
                "The pictures will end after the song finishes." 
Andrew and Noriko quickly rushed out, hiding in the mess hall from the pictures.
                "Sooooo...how was seeing your first dong?" Andrew asked.
                "I'm gonna ignore the fact that you just asked me that." 
                "Seriously though, who take the time to code that?" 
                "Apparently the head of Science and research. I'm never gonna be able to get rid of that image." 
                "No one could, I'm more curious on how he got those angles. Those photos looked professionally taken." 
                "Ahh stop talking about it. Change the subject." 
                "Uhhh, how did you become an Avenger?" 
                "I'm not one." 
                "Wait what? Why are you training here then?" 
                "I'm just following Laura; I had no intention of joining S.H.I.E.L.D, but after the fight. They said either I come here or go back home and there's no way I'm going back home." 
                "Family problems?" 
                "Mutant problem." 
                "But you can literally look like a super sayian, complete with lightning and rising hair." 
                "You see me as that, because you're a weeb, they see me as threat and problem." 
                "You do have a tendency to hit teammates." 
She gave him a glare.
                "I'm kidding, so I'm guessing you ran away from home?" 
                "Laura found me in the countryside, charging everyone's house like the most obedient battery. The first thing she did when she saw me, was destroying the generator, and then she stabbed our priest. Then she told me to follow her and be happy." 
                "Wow your family are a bunch of c**ts. Also did she kill him?"
                "No he survived, although I don't think he can use his left arm anymore." 
                "Well here you are at Avenger's base, after helping keep New York City safe. So f**k those guys."  
                "So how did you and Colleen meet? I know you two pretty much dating for the entire time you were together." 
                "We weren't...I met her by chance." 
                "By destiny, but go on." 
                "That's it, it was chance." 
                "Sure it was, but what are you plans for when you see her again?" 
                "I...uh...talk I guess?" 
                "That's it? You haven't seen each other in a month and your plan is to just talk?."
                "We weren't dating, I mean we haven't even...Never mind I'm gonna go take a nap."
Noriko crushed a battery and threw a lightning bolt at Andrew scorching the ground.
                "Did you just throw lightning at me?"
                "Sit down, I want all the details." 
                "Uhh how about no? I'm the senior Avenger here." 
                "Hawkins, play the audio file." 
                "What Audio file?" 
                "I have magical armour from the Norse gods, a weapon that can change its shape and be summoned at will. I have fought calamity level mutants and I'm in charge of an Avenger's base. Yet the one thing that stays at the top of my mind, when I think about the past month of my life, is her."
                "That one." 
Andrew quickly sat back down.
                "Alright fine, what do you want to know?" 
                "Ahhh this is so cute, what have you two done together?" 
                "Uhh, what do you mean?" 
                "Like fire base? Or second base?"
                "Is sitting on the bench an option here?"
                "Wait have you two not even kissed?" 
                "She kissed my cheek on Christmas, does that count?" 
                "Adorable, but no. Wait what is your experience with a girl?"
                "I'm like drowning in the puss, Allll day son." 
She looked at him with a deadpan expression.
                "So zero." 
                "Yeah pretty much zero." 
                "Well all the more reason to prepare and think of what to do, when you see her again." 
                "How exactly do I prepare for any of this?" 
                "Well when she gets back and you ask her out, where do you plan to take her for dinner?" 
                "The cafeteria.....?" 
                "Okayyyy... let's think of a more romantic place." 
                "Outside the cafeteria?" 
                "Think a bit more outside the box." 
                "Like get takeaway and eat outside of the base?" 
                "Oh my god you need help."
                "I do, but it's not important right now. I have almost a whole month to fantasize where I should take her, before I see her again and she says no." 
                "She's not gonna say no, now come on think harder, you can do this." 
                "Andrew you have been requested to investigate a 616." 
                "Oh thank god, I mean, oh no duty calls. Shame we couldn't continue. We'll continue this conversation never." Andrew quickly ran off to the main computer.
                "THIS ISN'T OVER!" 
                "YES IT IS!" 
Andrew made his way to the main computer, seeing an older bald black Agent way too close to the camera, with Noriko coming shortly behind him. 
                "Where you the one that called about a 616?" 
                "Yes sir, I am gay Ray." 
                "Did...Did you just call yourself gay Ray?" 
                "It's the nickname I was given, and I'm just going with it." 
                "Alright what's the actual 616, just show me on camera." 
                "What's a 616?" Noriko asked.
                "A 616 refers to a situation that is super in nature." Hawkins said.
                "Can't do that sir." 
                "Uhh, why not Ray?" 
                "It's Gay Ray, but something is disrupting our cameras when we point it towards the anomaly." 
                "Can you describe it to me, so I can maybe prepare a few things before I go?" 
                "Sir, we're all having trouble describing what we're seeing. The best description I can give, is that it looks like a bootleg production, of a gay porn parody of the power rangers." 
                ".....I'm weirdly excited to see this thing now, did you want to come Nori?" 
                "I do..." 
                "Umm we'll be there soon...Gay Ray." 
The transmission ended, Andrew and Noriko jumping aboard the Quinjet, arriving 3 hours later. Agents were lazing around, the entrance of a state park with Gay Ray greeting them on arrival.
                "Good you made it, it's gotten bigger." 
                ��What's gotten bigger, we didn't see anything in the Quinjet." 
                "Follow me, you'll have to stay back Miss." 
                "What why, if anything I'm stronger than he is right now." 
                "If you insist, but they requested only you sir." 
                "They?...Oh dear god, gay power rangers. It's them isn't it? Is one of them an Obese woman wearing all denim?" 
                "Yes how did you know that?" 
Noriko burst out laughing, taking a seat next to the agents.
                "All you dude, I'm gonna sit this one out. My abs have had enough of a workout." 
                "Eughh, I can't believe theses idiots are still causing me problems. Whatever take me to them." 
Andrew followed him through the forest finding a pink barrier set enveloping the entire area.
                "How did we not see this flying in? Also who even found this?" 
                "Someone calling themselves 'Hackerman' called us about this place, and I'm not sure the bubble seems to fluctuate in size." 
                "I swear to Christ almighty, I'm going to kill these kids." 
                "You should be careful, they don't sound normal." 
                "No. No they are not." 
Andrew placed his hand on the barrier, attempting to push through the barrier bending and moulding around his hand.
                "Now his barrier is useful, this little shit." 
Andrew summoned his sword, scaring Ray, as he smashed through the barrier. Stepping in, the barrier reformed itself, blocking Ray from entering.
                "It's alright Ray, I'll take it from here, these kids shouldn't be an issue."
Andrew continued deeper in the barrier looking around, he noticed the weather getting colder and colder, till his armour appeared.
                "Hmmm, this is getting concerning." 
As he ventured further in he witnessed a sight that brought him to his knees in laughter. He saw the five teenagers lounging around a bronze statue, with a sixth member praying towards it.
                "You still want to laugh at us? There are six of us now and our powers have grown." Safespace yelled at him.
                "You guys..hahaha... look like...ahahah... you're about to drop the shittest album ever." Andrew was clutching his ribs.
A woman in a black robe, slowly descended in front of Andrew, everyone else froze in her presence. She caught him by surprise, teleporting beside him with her hand on his broken rib. Andrew instinctively swatted her away with that arm, surprised to see his ribs no longer hurt.
                "What the hell did you just do to me?" 
                "I healed your injuries; I want to see you grow, servant of Gow." 
                "Wait who the hell are you?" 
She smiled and disappeared into smoke, the five of them stood up readying themselves, his helmet closing shut. The man praying in front of the statue stood up, raised a rainbow boomerang above his head, and started to scream.
                "I AM KABOOMERANG THE SECOND, HERE ARE MY DISCIPLES! WE SHALL USHER A NEW WAVE OF FEAR INTO THIS LAND! WE WILL START BY KILLING YOU AVENGER!" 
                "BWAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!" 
Andrew fell to the ground laughing; they looked at him with contempt, anger and malice.

Bjorn Muller was back in his spacious and luxurious office at the Terran Council Phobos base. Never had he imagined that he would enjoy his return to work, but the first hour had been quiet and peaceful. The learning point for the average worker, is that if your holiday entails having an angry mob threatening to lynch you; the security guards keeps giving you hostile looks; they waiters keep spilling drinks on you, and the chefs keep giving you expired food, then you are better off working!
Bjorn sat back on his couch and poured himself an expensive glass of Scotch. How relaxing it was to be back at work! The peace ended abruptly when Bjorn's boss, Admiral Max Wellington requested to see him immediately, which reminded Bjorn about the annoying fact, that although he was the son of the Terran Council leader, he wasn't even the boss of his own military base!
Begrudgingly Bjorn made his way to Max's office.
Bjorn Muller:
- You wished to see me, Admiral Max Wellington.
Max Wellington:
- I have received some grave accusations against you, Rear Admiral Muller.
Bjorn Muller:
- The trash bin is over there. You know who my father is, so why even bother accusing me of things?
Max Wellington:
- I also know that I am the highest-ranked officer on this base despite your father's position.
Bjorn Muller:
- Oh, Maxi Jealousy! Who has the most prominent office with the best selection of expensive drinks and women? Burn!
Max Wellington:
- Not meant as a 'Burn', I'm just explaining why you are here.
- Besides, I don't drink, and I am loyal to my wife, Magda.
Bjorn Muller:
- Wasn't she and your daughter killed by space pirates last year? Ha-ha!
Max Wellington:
- Grrrr. You're an asshole Bjorn!
- Anyways I am here because I had some grave accusations come in against you.
Bjorn Muller:
- I told you already. The bin is over there. My father doesn't care about Martian whinging!
Max Wellington:
- I think he will care about this: I spoke with Markus Bauer the other day. He accused you of intentionally sabotaging the Science Bay to kill him and get rid of the fake evidence of Keila Eisenstein's death.
Bjorn Muller:
- That's ridiculous. The dislodgement of the Science Bay was due to the Russian porn virus that Markus Bauer downloaded.
Max Wellington:
- How do you know the accident was caused by a Russian porn virus since you never went back to investigate the Science Bay?
Bjorn Muller:
- I know, because I reprimanded Markus Bauer earlier for downloading prohibited X-rated video clips, and for storing a scuba gear in the Science Bay.
Max Wellington:
- Scuba gear on a spaceship? Why?
Bjorn Muller:
- You don't want to know!
Max Wellington:
- A correct statement!
Bjorn Muller:
- Anyways. How does Markus Bauer claim to have survived the accident?
Max Wellington:
- He claims that he equipped the scuba gear and then was picked up, resuscitated, and taken hostage by the infamous space pirate Captain Morgan Henry. Apparently, Tzi Chen Cheng showed up a couple of weeks later and paid his ransom.
Bjorn Muller:
- That's an absurd and far-fetched story. Divine intervention would make more sense!
- Anyways Tzi Chen and Markus have a secret sodomite relationship. Tzi Chen probably told him to tell lies about me to make my life miserable!
Max Wellington:
- How do you know about Tzi Chen and Markus Bauer?
Bjorn Muller:
- They invited me to a threesome once. I was considering it to piss off my father. But then I realised that my brother Benjamin is already doing that, so I dropped that idea.
Max Wellington:
- You do realise that Benjamin is homosexual and not just pretending to irritate your dad?
Bjorn Muller:
- That's ridiculous. The Mullers have perfect DNA. How could we be gay? Besides I have suffered from unrequited love to that bitch Keila Eisenstein for the last four years. How would that happen if I preferred men?
Max Wellington:
- What are you talking about? Did you just confess treason, to disprove that you are gay?
Bjorn Muller:
- Did I? What a shame I hacked the security in this room and turned off the cameras and the audio recordings!
Max Wellington:
- Fuck this shit. I am sending you back to your father. Joachim Muller can deal with you.
- Get the hell out of my office.
Bjorn Muller:
- That's alright. I'll think about you and laugh when I enjoy my life in luxury and abundance on Earth!
After this, Bjorn left the room with an arrogant smile, blissfully unaware that his father was not planning a royal welcoming reception for him when he came back to Earth!

When God dies, an idiot takes his place!

Far enough into the future for anything to be conceivable, the wealthy and dementia-ridden villain Abraham Goldstein funds an implausible project to travel to heaven and meet God! Against all logic, the project is successful, and Abraham finds out that the god is dead. Abraham also finds the mind-control technology, that Yahweh used to convince Bronze Age humans that he was a god. 

Having these schematics Abraham sets his mind to a new project: to create an artificial Bronze Age world where he can be "god" over its inhabitants. 
Along the way he faces many highly amusing scenarios such as problem with the henchmen union, unfortunate calendar mistakes, malfunctioning orbital super weapons etc. Abraham keeps fucking up things due to his dementia, villainy, incompetent henchmen, and general stupidity until a mentally ill woman shows up out of nowhere and puts an end to Abraham's follies!

THE FLOWERS THREW colors of different intensity. Some were in full bloom, some withered, some already starting to wither, and some just started blooming.

It's June and it often rains in this season, however if nature deprives us of it (in most days she does), I play cloud and water the garden. Today, the raindrops were nearly not enough nourishment.

The family was in motion. Except of course the two supposedly responsible older siblings. Mom was busy inside, unnecessarily cleaning the already spotless house. Dad still not home from work. And me not finished with a tedious task.

After I had sprinkled refreshments onto a small aloe vera plant, the gate creaked to signal that dad has arrived.

"Jessie!" He called. "Bring these to the table." He carried with him a soggy paper bag cased in a thin plastic bag. I assumed this was dinner and after sniffing a meaty smell, it confirmed itself.

"Mommy! Dad is here," I called her in the middle of her watching the TV. I guess dad and I were the only ones in motion after all. "Dinner!"

"Put it cleanly on a plate then place it on the table. Be careful. I already wiped the counter and the table clean." Guess I was wrong.

Taking the sodden containers of food to the kitchen, I caught a glimpse of my brother Jonah, immersed in a world of his own. As the only one honing a desire for learning many types of instruments by himself, he was often disconnected to the surroundings around him and focused primarily on playing, tuning, or fixing an instrument. Right now, he's tinkering with a ukulele.

He paid no attention to me or to the scrumptious smell galloping through the atmosphere. He might be too engrossed to be convinced he should eat for a while.

The table was set. The people were not. So, I opted to eat first before anyone else. The meal was barbecue. This was a good and subtle change of taste, because whenever we lacked any viand to feast on, we buy, most often, a whole roasted rotisserie chicken. The fanning display of impaled meat was more than a delight.

The once peaceful house was met, in sudden collision, with clutter as both Dad and my sister decided to enter the living room. I had used the TV as white noise, but the uproar of a family in heat of rumors thought I'd be better off without them. They were better audio than radio muffles, they guessed.

"Did you know Mr. and Mrs. Stuber's son was gay?" my sister mused.

"Gay?" Both parents were intrigued at the subject.

"Mrs. Stuber saw him canoodling with a classmate beside their very store. They looked like they enjoyed it she said."

"Did you see them, Jan?" Mom asked.

"No. They were very loud arguing outside their door. I tried to eavesdrop, but eventually their maid Judy filled me in with the details." My sister was enjoying the gossip. Off-putting.

The three sat at the table and brought their prejudices with them.

Their appeal to convince each other that homosexuality was an abomination circled through morals, tradition, history, contemporary social structures and of course, religion.

Throughout the ordeal I remained my head down to the plate, trying to appear inept enough not being able to contribute to this conversation.

When they entertained me to join in, I knew exactly I was about to oppose, constructing an unwanted debate.

"Honestly, why can't we all agree that same-sex love is still the same love that binds heterosexual relationships?"

They look to me, ajar eyes and lips. Jonah was still into the ukulele. They looked offended that I appealed an opposition. Appalled I even thought of it.

"I don't think it's fit to classify that as love. Maybe lust." It was Janine.

My parents were particular with religious belief; their existence depends greatly on the truth of scriptures. Growing up, I am often introduced to their crazed perception of Gospel.

I am in no means to offend them or other faithful God-fearing believers, but I believe that those crude judgments are far from what Jesus hoped we interpret His teachings.

Should we degrade the lives of others for the sake of our personal religious satisfaction? Who are we to assume their lives are none better than ours?

Yet the more I defend, the less I become heard. Because what is considered true is tradition, not receptive suggestions.

Every after meals, I am expected to clean up the table and wash the plates. Quite a busy set of responsibilities considering the lesser occupied list of the other two.

Midway washing, my sister neared the sink to prepare her evening tea. She whispered to me. "You were quite defensive there. Be careful."

After minutes of keeping the window open, Yeona came inside and he immediately noticed the smile on Yanmei's face. The audio recording from the camera was loud enough to hear their conversation, and he thought to listen in to their chat. 
"Ms. Yanmei, I did not get to finish my task the other day, I was hoping I could get an extension," said Yeona. 
"Of course, Yeona. How about this? Let's work on it together, and you know what? I prefer a different environment. How about going to a coffee shop or better yet at my apartment?" Yanmei suggested. 
Anton's eyes narrowed at the thought of the two of them being alone together. He swore he had to talk to Yanmei about having an office romance. 
After Yeona left, Yanmei made a call to Junsu. "Hello, Junsu. I'd like to confirm the 3 PM appointment with Mr. Yeong."
Junsu, who was not aware of the appointment, got confused. He was about to call his boss when Aton beat him to it. He saw the other line blinking, and he asked Yanmei to stay on hold. 
"Mr. Yeong?"
"Tell Yanmei 3 PM appointment is confirmed and have her proceed to the parking lot when the time comes," said Anton. 
Junsu was alarmed. His boss was once again monitoring him through the cameras. He wondered how he had the time to keep on watching him. 
"Y  -Yes, Mr. Yeong. Thank you."
After Junsu confirmed with Yanmei, the supposed coffee appointment, Anton no longer monitored Yanmei. He went back to work as usual and at exactly 2:30 PM he got ready.
He made sure to fix his tie and his coat before running his fingers through his hair. When he was done, he realized something, 'Wait… am I anxious? Am I fixing myself for a woman? Worst, a lesbian?"
He quickly messed his hair and walked out of the office. 
He made his way to the parking lot in ten minutes. He started the car and waited inside and soon began a countdown of when Yanmei would arrive. 
"2:40 PM."
"2:45 PM."
"2:50 PM."
"2:55 PM."
Anton was literally checking his watch every five minutes. At exactly 3 PM, he opened the door to his side and waited. 
"Good afternoon, Mr. Yeong." Yanmei arrived at exactly 3:02 PM. 
He turned to her, shaking his head. He said, "You are late."
Yanmei saw the time and realized what he meant, she said, "I'm sorry, Mr. Yeong, Yeona had some questions before I - "
"Yeona, Yeona, Yeona… You realize, you often talk about Yeona," Anton said as his eyes narrowed at her. 
Bewildered, Yanmei asked, "I do? I did not notice that - "
"In any case, I want you to know that office romance is strictly forbidden!"
Yanmei's mouth hung open at his words. She immediately realized he was referring to her gay self. "Pfft! Haha! Right, Mr. Yeong. Right… I'm not into Yeona though… We are just friends."
"Really?" He asked without looking at her.
"Yes, really."
"Good! Good. Let's go." Anton drove to the streets in silence, and brought Yanmei to a different coffee shop, nearly four blocks away. 
When Anton pulled over, He said, "I like the coffee here."
Just before he got out of the car, Yanmei called him out, "Wait! Wait!"
"What?" 
Yanmei cleared her throat and slowly opened her bag. She took out her comb and handed it to him. She said, "I think you'd look better after using this."
She had earlier noticed his messy hair. She was not about to go in public with a man who could not fix his hair, even if he was handsome.
He did not use her comb. Instead, he used his fingers to brush his hair and looked himself in the mirror. When he was satisfied, signaled for them to get off the car.
Upon entering the establishment, Yanmei was caught by surprised seeing the marbled tables and chandeliers from the ceiling. The place was also spot-clean. The tables and chairs were arranged in perfect angles and the color theme was black and white. Somehow, it reminded her of Anton's office that she then blurted out, "I bet the owner has OCD."
Anton walked a few steps forward, leaving her slightly behind. 
"Mr. Yeong! Good afternoon," said one of the attendants. He quickly made his way to the door and gestured for him to take a seat. "Your usual table."
When the attendant saw Yanmei, he said, "Good afternoon, miss. The seats over here are not take - "
"She is with me." 
The attendant nearly slid from the glossy floor, shocked at hearing Yanmei was with Anton. "Ah, Mr. Yeong? She - She is with you?"
"Do -  I -  have -  to repeat myself?"
"No! No, definitely not. Mr. Yeong. Please, take your seats ."
After taking their orders, the attendant went back to the counter and prepared their requests. 
Yanmei could not help but notice that all the staff were men. It once again gave her a feel of the office. "I think the owner of this cafe likes men."
He disregarded her remarks and merely proceeded to their agenda. He looked at Yanmei saying, "You read my email?"
"No, I did not read your email - "
"It was marked read."
"So, apparently, you knew it was read… So why exactly did we have to meet after having read your email?" asked Yanmei. 
"I want to know if you have accepted my explanation," Anton asked as he crossed his arms against his chest. He had earlier practiced on how to repeat his apology in front of her but he could not say the word "sorry".
'Say it! Say it!' He told himself, but eventually, he caressed his forehead and said, "It is what it is in the email so let us put it behind us."
Before they could continue, the attendant brought the pastries and coffees at their table.
Yanmei's eyes grew wide seeing the beautifully arranged rainbow-colored sugar cubes at the base of the coffee mug. It suddenly reminded her of Garry. She said, "Haha! The owner of this shop might as well be gay - "
"I - own - this - coffee shop," said Anton. 
"Or not! Just because you serve rainbow sugar cubes, it does not make you gay. Definitely not!" Yanmei took back her words frantically. She told herself, 'Sheez. He could have just said the place was his from the start.'
Anton immediately turned to the attendant saying, "No more rainbow cubes! Only black ones. Understood?"
"Mr. Yeong? I don't think there are black ones - "
"Contact the sugar company and order only black sugar cubes!"


He hated working with women. She turned herself gay so she can keep her job. They wound up finding themselves in a hilarious misunderstanding, preventing them from telling their true heart’s yearning.

“I don’t like women directly reporting to me!” He yelled at her after learning he would be working with a mere woman. 

Xia Yanmei replied, “I understand how you don’t like women and I support you wholeheartedly.” 

“Are you a lunatic? I just said I detest women!” Anton Yeong repeated himself, already agitated. His brows were drawn together while his eyes were like a laser, ready to pierce a hole through her body. 

“Oh, you were referring to me? I’m sorry. Sometimes, I forget. I am actually a woman… The truth is, I am a man trapped in a woman’s body!” 

That was all she could think of to secure his trust. In order to keep her job and remain away from her father’s pestering, she tricked the cold and powerful Anton Yeong in more ways than one.

It was from that moment that he was willing to give her a chance, and it was because she turned herself into gay that she kept living a lie... only to regret it after falling for his unorthodox approach.

She brushed her hair with her fingers before biting her lip and placing both her hands on her waist. "Are - you - still - angry with me?"

Like a lingerie model, Yanmei raised one of her legs while looking seductively at Anton. She bit her lip again and asked, "Are you still... angry with me?"

Yanmei traced her legs with both her hands, slowly gliding them from her thighs, up to her silky smooth behind. Her hands resumed to soar up her waist and then cupping her breasts from under the thin layer of a torn shirt.

Letting out a seductive sigh, she asked, "Could you really dare to be angry with me?"
