This story is about an average high school boy with an average lifestyle who likes to read novels especially fantasy ones and was transferred to another world along with his classmates from his school.

As they were transferred our protagonist, John Kaiser, was the sole student among his classmates who were left behind, leaving him all alone in their classroom.

As he was wondering what happened to the others, he remembered one of the novels he had read. It was a story of a fantasy world, where a king of a human kingdom summons heroes from another world to save their world from the demon king, a typical Isekai (Another World)  fantasy novel.

Our protagonist, John Kaiser, started to contemplate and question 'why?' why was he the only one not summoned?

And as his questions go crazy, a light emerges from the place where he was sitting.

Is this the start of our protagonist's fantasy adventure as a hero? Or will he live the same life again as an average person even in another world?

Once a small town was visited by a saint. As he passed by a small hut, a woman came to him and begged him to pray for her critically ill child. Since the saint was new to the town, a group gathered around him to see if he can do anything. The woman brought the sick child to him and he chanted a prayer over her. 'Do you really think your prayers will help her when medicine has failed? After all, they are just some words!', yelled a man from the crowd. 'You idiot! You have no idea what I am doing! So just shut up and get out of here!', shouted the saint to the man. The man grew furious and he became hot and red. 'How dare you speak to me like that!', he fumed. 'Well, if one word has the power to make you so furious, why can't another word have the power to heal this child?', asked the saint with a smile. 
Be careful what words you use to others and to yourself, because words have unimaginable power)

Explosions went off loudly, flames burning hot.
The scorching flame tongues were wrecking the damaged stairs, cracking the jaded steps and turning them to charred bits.
Ye Jing, engulfed in flames, moaned painfully.
Before, when he had the complete "Extreme Night", Ye Jing was able to ignore the rank III Devil Flames, but after it broke, his defence didn't just plummet, it even shrunk in range.
Therefore, Ye Jing was now able to feel the high temperature of the ravaging flames.
The ferocious temperature caused immense pain to the already burnt right side of his face.
Unpleasant memories came afloat in his mind again.
Insults!
The insults Ye Jing tried to forget but couldn't, they filled his heart and became the best fuel for the raging flames.
The raging flames burned fiercer as they started to devour Ye Jing's sanity, however, the person controlling the flames seemed to be an expert. 
Not only was it done secretly, it was so cleverly done that Ye Jing didn't realize it at all.
Quite possibly, he may have noticed that something was off about the raging flames had he been given another second, but right then, the white wolf appeared before him once again.
The white wolf spirit nimbly and lightly grazed over Ye Jing's body, its sharp claws shaking the defense of "Extreme Night" yet again.
"Extreme Night", which was already broken, suffered even more cracks on the remainder of its surface; it was so concentrated that it seemed to have formed a connected pattern.
"You again!? I'll kill you!"
Ye Jing shouted with killing intent, but the white wolf didn't give him the chance to act. It quickly ran away after its successful ambush.
Of course, that still wasn't the end of Kieran's relentless attacks.
A rapier came afloat from the shadows and was launched at Ye Jing as he was shouting angrily.
Souu!
Ding!
Ding Ding Ding!
[Dandelion's Pierce] created sparks with the black light when it struck "Extreme Night".
The clear sounds from the relentless rapier strikes along with the sparks almost sounded like a blacksmith smithing on a merry workday.
Kak!
Another cracking sound followed shortly after.
The remaining "Extreme Night" was further damaged and then reduced to less than half of its original size.
Not just Ye Jing's face was left exposed, half of his body was now as well.
So when the Devil Flame was hurled at him again, Ye Jing clearly felt the heat from the flames.
Ye Jing dodged it!
From the moment he first appeared, Ye Jing had never bothered dodging Kieran's attacks at all and yet, he did so now!
With extreme speed, Ye Jing appeared on the other side of the stairs. The Devil Flame grazed his side but he didn't dodge Kieran's upcoming slash.
Kieran jumped from the top of the stairs and swung [Arrogant Word] down.
Wung!
The huge bewitching greatsword brought upon a violent wind whistle as it slashed toward "Extreme Night".
Dang!
After the clear clunking noise, Ye Jing saw Kieran switch from two-handed to single-handed again.
He didn't panic though; instead, he laughed coldly.
Ye Jing slowly took out a wooden talisman charm from his pocket.
Pak! 
The wooden talisman charm was snapped and faint divine light started to spread over Ye Jing's body.
The lingering frosty energy was swiftly expelled. It seemed that the divine light was used specifically to counteract against the frost.
"You think you can strike me twice with the same tricks?" said Ye Jing.
"Extreme Night", which acted like a shield against [Arrogant Word]'s slash, divided itself into two parts. One of the moving lights began to strangle [Arrogant Word] like a living rope and the other lunged at Kieran, who was a few feet away.
The black light went directly for Kieran's heart and…
Sou!
A sharp, air-slicing noise followed.
At the same time, a never before seen explosive power befell the other end of the black light that was strangling [Arrogant Word].
The tenacious black light was on par with [Arrogant Word]'s sharpness. The explosive power managed to pin Kieran in place, his single-handed wielding and all. Kieran even had to utilize his full might to prevent [Arrogant Word] from being overtaken.
"How will you choose now? Abandon your sword? Or keep your sword with your body?"
Kieran turned a deaf ear to Ye Jing's words and moved accordingly to his plan.
Chang!
A sword chime came after a sharp glare when the soft sword was unsheathed.
[Burwell's Slaughter], which was concealed under [Wild Soul], was activated following the movement of Kieran's wrist. The mottled stains on the blade transformed into 22 arrows and were fired at Ye Jing.
Kieran was only a few feet away, thus Ye Jing was naturally in front of Kieran as well.
When [Arrow of Slaughter] was fired, it instantly arrived at Ye Jing's face.
"Extreme Night" split itself into another moving light and blocked off [Arrow of Slaughter] before it could reach Ye Jing.
The newly split moving light was exceptionally thin. After having blocked 22 arrows, it started to shake but still held on.
Ye Jing started to sneer again.
"Trying to return the damage? You think…"
Again, Ye Jing was abruptly stopped before he could finish.
Two layers of force field barrier formed over Kieran. The light from "Extreme Night" easily pierced the first with its unstoppable sharpness, but when it reached the second layer, it stopped for a while.
Despite the slight pause, the black light managed to go through the second layer and strike [Devourer's Shadow Mail], but upon contact, it splintered into black sparkles, vanishing into thin air.
Kak!
The splintered light caused "Extreme Night" to crack once more.
After the crack, the explosive power that strangled [Arrogant Word] was greatly weakened.
Kieran exerted his full might and broke free from the entanglement before swinging the weapon down again.
"SLASH!"
Kieran gripped his greatsword with both his hands and performed the slash with all his might as though he was trying to break "Extreme Night" once and for all.
Ye Jing was still disdainful as ever.
Even though "Extreme Night" had already broken, he didn't believe Kieran would be able to crush it completely, especially since it still had the buff from himself. "Extreme Night" was simply indestructible.
Chang!
[Arrogant Word]'s blade clashed with "Extreme Night". 
Ye Jing, who was as disdainful as ever, changed his expression for the worse because…
The power wasn't right!
The power he felt from [Arrogant Word] was far from what Kieran had displayed when using all his might, instead almost feeling similar to the single-handed slash from before.
At the next moment, Ye Jing saw Kieran switch to single-handed wielding again.
When Kieran raised his right hand at Ye Jing again, the corner of Ye Jing's eye twitched.
"You think you can succeed again?!"
The shout didn't stop Ye Jing from carefully preparing for his counterattack though.
He never thought a God who hadn't even reached the higher standing could force him to such an ugly position.
His burning rage became uncontrollable.
The burning rage started to sizzle away his sanity, and Ye Jing only just managed to hold himself together.
His mind told him to calm down, he had to maintain a clear head.
However, his sanity started to shake again right after because while Ye Jing had been paying full attention to Kieran's right hand, Kieran dished out kicks instead!


Welcome to a virtual underground game with no protection, full of lurking players who seek survival, power, and fortune. Kieran chose to enter this VRMMORPG game without hesitation, because he knew this was the only way for him to escape death’s grasp. Can he escape death in real life though, or will he end up dying inside the game? 

When the carriage reached close to the villa, Zixu called for the driver to stop. Prior to this, Yujia already made sure both of them were very clear of the plan. 
This was the point where Yujia slipped off. 
Zixu coughed. She glanced for one last time in his direction, then exited the carriage. The moment she stepped off, the carriage began moving forward once again, as if the driver had stopped the carriage just to listen to a word from his young master. And since Yujia was dropped off facing a wall, no one noticed a thing— not that there was anything to be quite suspicious about in the first place. It was only an ordinary carriage travelling in broad daylight, when plenty of people walked through the streets. 
Everything was perfectly normal. 
Yuija didn't look back, striding down the alleyway which stood right in front of her. She kept her head dipped down and posture humble, mimicking the servants she had seen come and go in the past. 
This alley happened to be the alley with the Yang Villa's servant entrance. Yujia knew this area well. It was the area where she found an escape route through. 
For a brief second, the idea of the events that would occur if the household discovered her flashed in her mind. She put so much work in getting away. She ran away just to escape this place. 
But here she was, back again. 
Yujia knew that her act of returning would happen one day. Still, it was odd to imagine that every step she took was part of reality, however, and not just some strange dream or plan. 
Keeping her head down, Yujia shuffled into the villa without a single issue. A servant which usually sat at the gate, lazily chewing on some sunflower seeds, didn't even spare her an extra glance. 
Yujia was just another ordinary, drab servant. There was nothing special and nothing suspicious about her. Nothing at all.
Once she made it in, Yujia finally looked up, surveying everything in front of her. Noise came from the kitchens. One servant carrying a cart of waste moved towards the exit. Another servant girl swept the paths. Someone yelled for this girl in the kitchen, for in the next moment, she leaned her broom against a wall and hurried inside the building. 
Yujia took this chance to slink forward, grabbing the discarded broom and making sweeping motions. Within a split second, she blended in with the environment. She was yet another little maid, given the job of cleaning the yards. 
As she swept, she made her way in the direction of the room of the Fourth Miss, which was on the opposite end of the courtyard. 
She wondered if she would run into Hui'er this time. Judging by the way the villa was run, it didn't seem likely. With the Fourth Miss gone, Hui'er likely got relocated to another job. 
Once she was right by the familiar doors leading into the room, Yujia tossed the broom into a shadowed corner. She glanced around to make sure that no one was outside, then pushed open the doors by a crack just wide enough for her to slip through. Immediately, once she was inside, she closed the doors. 
Letting out a deep breath of relief that things went alright so far, Yujia glanced around the room. Things didn't look too dusty, but it was clear that since she left, no one had really taken care of the room. 
Yujia wasn't here to give critiques on cleanliness, though. She dropped to the cabinets, opening them and checking everything for any questionable items she could've missed when packing her runaway belongings. After that, she checked the bed and drawers, finding nothing in any of the places which could've hidden secrets. 
Although Yujia had to work quickly in her search, the fact that she knew the room made her speed much faster. In a few minutes, she figured that the room was all clear. 
So next, the obvious place of suspicion would be the connected small room that Hui'er resided in. All that room contained were two cabinets and a bed, as it was only needed for sleeping purposes. Hui'er spent most of her day in Yuija's actual room. 
In the small side room, she searched through everything thoroughly as well, finding absolutely nothing. Hui'er seemed to still sleep in this room as of this moment, since her things were still intact. Still, amongst the few belongings that she did have, Yujia couldn't find anything either. 
This brought some comfort to Yujia upon knowing that Hui'er's chances of being the culprit decreased by a bit. Though it was impossible to determine Hui'er's innocence from just a brief search alone, her lack of suspicious items lowered the chances. 
With all of the possible searching in the courtyard completed, Yujia exited the room and picked the broom up again. Once more, she pretended to maintain the yard, waiting for her singal to execute Phase Two. 
…
Meanwhile, Yu Zixu's carriage pulled up to the front of the villa. A messenger earlier ran ahead to bring word to the Yang Villa that he was arriving. By the time that the carriage rolled over, the Yang Household's Madam stood at the front to welcome him. 
"Young Master Yu," she politely greeted, "what brings you to the Yang Villa today? We didn't expect you."
Zixu inspected this middle aged woman in front of him, taking in her dark magenta robes, which she wore neatly pressed, not a wrinkle to be seen. A placid smile rested on her unpainted lips. 
He smiled respectfully in return, bowing as he greeted, "Madam. To be honest, I didn't expect myself to drop a visit either. Therefore, I apologize for the lack of notice in advance." 
He took in a shaky breath, glancing his eyes down as if he was nervous, or if he was steadying himself. In reality, Zixu was calmly focused on the delivery of his lines of both literal words and body language. It was too, too easy to fake this look of wariness he displayed right now.  
"The truth is… ever since I had the discussion with the Fifth Miss about painting, I gave our conversation lots of careful thought. The things we discussed enlightened me in quite a few works of mine afterwards. If it is not too much, I would like to have another conversation with your Fifth Miss again? I know that it may be stepping over boundaries, but of course, it will be with you present to chaperone. I only want to exchange a brief word about painting with her." 
As he spoke, the Madam's expression shifted ever so slightly, her lips parting just a bit. But quickly enough, she regained her mild composure, nodding and replying, "Of course that is within boundaries." She stepped back, gesturing for Zixu to follow. "Come, let us talk inside."


At 24 years old, Yang Yujia is an unemployed art major, living off heavy debt and instant noodles. During a high-school reunion, Yujia gets drunk, does stupid things, and when she wakes up again, Yujia is no longer in the correct world, time-period, or body.

"Clean it," Erin said, brushing her hair back.
"R-right away, Missus!" The pale girl anxiously grabbed her elbow and darted over to Erin's feet.
"Actually," Erin looked down on the pale maid, "clear my way and come with me."
"Um...," she whispered, anxiously grabbing her elbow, "come with you, Missus?"
"Are you daft?" Erin spat. "I won't say it again. You come with me, and you," she tossed her finger around pointing randomly to another maid, "you clean it."
"Not-not me?" The maid, already a ghostly shade of faint white, grew paler by the moment.
The pale maid's eyes jumped around the room seemingly searching for some sort of consolation. But, Erin's stone-cold features and growing glare squandered any hopeful ideas she could have thought of. She stumbled over to Erin, trying to steer clear of glass.
"Ok, I'll clear the way right away, Missus!" The words came out choppy and frail as the girl feigned a trembling smile. The maid brought her duster down against the glass and began to rapidly and aggressively, sweeping the glass into a small pile.
"Okay, Missus," the pale maid eagerly shot upwards, "please watch your step, and come along this way!" She pointed towards a clear path, a good distance away from any hint of glass shards.
Erin sighed, already exhausted from being in the presence of the 'service workers'. Giving her hair another whip backward, she slowly strutted forwards, an aura of agitation trailing behind her. The pale maid hurried to follow her before Erin's voice locked her in place.
"Wait," Erin said, halting as she raised her hand.
"Yes, Missus?" The maid asked standing a good foot away from Erin.
"Are you," Erin whipped her head towards the girl, "even the least bit competent?"
"Missus?" The pale girl shifted in place, a deeply puzzled and frightened look quickly flushing over her. "What do you mean?"
"Glass." Erin rigidly spoke, before pointing one finger at her feet.
The maid's eyes shot upwards immediately at the very words. Almost instantly she fell to her knees. "I-I am so sorry Missus! I'm so sorry! I would never place you in danger and I----!" Before the girl could utter another apology, Erin placed one hand up again, which immediately caused the girl to lock her lips.
"You incompetent countryside scum, how could you be so careless?" Erin growled at the girl with a menacing scowl. She raised her foot so that a crimson red blotchy spot could be seen on her satin white slippers. "You're definitely fired."
It only took less than an instant for the pale maid to crumble into begs and cries.
"Missus, I am terribly sorry!" The pale maid, kneeled deeply into the ground, her forehead ready to slam into the floor. "Please! Please don't fire me, Missus! I need this job more than anything! Please, my lady, I will do anything to fix this! Please don't fire me! I have a family that depends on me keeping this job, my lady--!"
"Don't speak another word," she huffed, "you'll give me a headache with all that whining." Erin groaned. "I'm in no mood for this, rat vermin. Remove the glass this instant."
"Right away, Missus!" The maid quickly nodded, delicately picking the small shard out from her foot. The pale maid tightly gripped the shard and tossed her head down.
"I am terribly sorry my lady, I was so careless! I would never want to ever be in such pain or danger! I would take your pain if I could! I am so sor--!"
"Put the glass down."
"...Missus?"
"Place the shard on the ground. You can't take my pain, so share my pain." She gave the ghostly pale girl, an empty smile. "Unless of course," she shrugged, "you're nothing but a liar who's waiting to get fired."
"Of…," the girl swallowed, "of course, Missus. Whatever I can do to please you." She weakly nodded.  With a restless jitter, she slipped her foot out her shoes, placed the small jagged glass shard on the ground, and gently stepped on it with a wince. "Will…," she wearily spoke, "will my missus ever forgive my misdeed?"
"Hm." Erin shrugged once more. "Only if you can do better than that. Why don't you give it a good stomp, just for good measure."
"Of course, Missus." She nodded, before stomping her foot down again, against the shard. A light trickle of blood coiled over the maid's toes.
"Hm." At the sight of the blood, Erin nodded rather satisfied. "Seems a bit forgivable now." As if she were already bored with the situation, Erin disinterestedly wandered over towards the door. She stopped her hands hovering over the doorknobs.
"On second thought," she turned to look back at the pale girl, "You should probably be fired anyways." She gave the girl another dead smile.
"B-but Missus! I beg you I need this job! I..I need this---!"
"Oh," she cut through the girl's words, "and, you," she randomly pointed to another cleaning maid, "come along with me." The new unfortunate maid paced over to her side with a pained look.
"But Missus! Please don't do this!" The pale maid cried out. "Missus! Plea---!" The door shut, leaving an empty silence.
Erin strode forward, letting the event fade from her thought. The maid followed behind her, keeping a rather expert distance from the young lady.
"Is there anything I can help you, Miss?" The maid asked, her voice steady and toneless as if she had perfected the line. She folded her hands and her bright lime green eyes pressed against the floor.
"Yes, you can," Erin continued walking forwards, not batting an eye at the maid. "I can't seem to find that fat hog of a man anywhere, and I can't possibly be expected to be walking around serving myself, that would be ridiculous. Tell me have you seen that pathetic pig around?"
"Reynolds, Miss, has just recently quit." The maid said in one stiff voice.
"Really?" Erin suddenly stopped. "Why this is…," she placed a finger on her chin, "this is absolutely incredible news!" She almost jumped in place. "Why I just knew it!" Erin burst into a gleeful laugh. "I knew this week was it for that pig of a man! Why, this is just… She lingered on with the words, before breaking into another laugh. "Wait." She began to ponder. "This is more than good news. This is a sign!" Without another word, Erin whipped around to face the maid.
"Tell me maid, where are Mother and Father?"
"I'm not quite sure, Miss. If I recall, I last saw them in the study greeting a guest."
"Glad there's still hope for some of you rat vermin," Erin said before spinning on her heels and speeding down the hall directly to her parents.
She felt like luck had just come crashing down to her doorstep, and she was more ready to greet it with open arms.

As soon as the word was uttered, everyone in the class started shouted. There were no exceptions. Some were so angry they were standing up and pointing their fingers at their teacher.

"N*gger" is a derogatory term used to insult our ancestors. See, if a white man used it, you'd be ready to fight. Your using it teaches him to use it. You're saying it's cool. Well, it's not cool, and when you're around me, I don't want to hear that sh*t! Are we clear?", said Zaphkiel with his voice rising with each point, anger also rising with his tone.


"Yeah we have students of different kinds here, how can you call yourself a teacher and say that word", shouted ShadowPhoenix.

"Seriously...I didn't expect that from you Sir", said Jahjah a bit more quietly than the rest of the class.

"I don't understand why you would say that", said Budia almost at the verge of tears.

"Everyone...sit down. Give me a chance to explain what I am saying", said Usogg in a calm but very loud and clear voice. He looked angry but not angry at the same time.

Everyone saw the expression on their teacher's face, knowing that this side of their teacher was dangerous, the controlled yet angry side. Slowly the anger dwindled down to cinders and the class took their respective seats.

"We apologise sir but could you please elaborate as to why you said that", said Kyoko to her teacher.

"Yes Class President. Now that everyone has calmed down I can explain properly without people thinking with their emotions...seriously young ones...", sighed Usogg.

"As I was saying, the word I mentioned previously was frowned upon by the general public but now it is used to commonly that for some it is treated almost like a fullstop, ending their sentences like", he paused for a second.

"Yo fam you see that new blog by Blacker on Amino 'n word' or liking the new festival even though it's recycled 'n word' etc.", said Usogg thoughtfully.

"Dude...don't do that again. That was cringey as hell man", said Jaime whilst Maou Sama and Gosu were giggling like little teenage girls.

"Hmmm. If you guys want to crack some more jokes, I'll send you over to SuSu Sama's class later like I did before", said Usogg softly.

"No sir...sorry we'll stop", said Maou Sama quickly which in turn made Jaime and Gosu stop and straighten up in their seats.

"Good boys. Moving on", said Usogg briskly.

"Why this change occurred we need to understand what has changed in the last decade or so. Before the internet wasn't as readily available...now the internet is available in countries were there is a lack of water and food but not lacking in smartphones or internet. Due to this change, which is occurring on a global level, there is more interactions between people of many different backgrounds, races, beliefs and ideologies. As certain media orientated culture grows in one country, it can influence trends in other countries", explained Usogg to his class.

"Gosu where are you looking again", shouted Usogg at Gosu and threw his pen at Gosu's face. Gosu quickly dodged but couldn't dodge the incoming slap to his face.

"Why you slap me for Sir", said Gosu with tears in his eyes and a pleading look on his face.
