"I'm done watching Kimetsu No Yaiba and Attack on Titan, and you wouldn't believe how amazing it was." Zendee spoke up, not even bother to our class discussion as he kept on talking. "It was awesoooooome." 

I was sitting between the two of them, Jessica and Zendee. It's our last subject and we are now huddled here in Computer Laboratory taking Multimedia and Digital Arts. 

"What episode are you now? You've got to be updated in every anime so you won't get left behind." 

I looked at him, he's waiting for her response. 

"Hey." he muttered when he've noticed that she's not even paying attention at him. But instead, her eyes were glued on the monitor while listening to the lesson. "Hey, hey yow!" 

I took a brief look at him and to Jessica. She looks annoyed right now and Zendee doesn't even feel bad about it. "Hey! Heeeeey…. Hey—" 

"Whut?!" Jessica mumbled in a grumpy manner, her brows knitted. 

"You're not even listening." 

"I'm listening to the discussion. Don't you see it?" 

"I don't wanna believe it. Your eyes is on the monitor." 

"Of course I'm paying attention. It's not even our dismissal yet. I don't wanna left behind in this." 

"Hey, you only live once." he said that made our jaw dropped. He literally don't know what he's talking about. 

"So?" Jessica's brows snapped together. "What do you mean?" 

"You've got to watch all the episodes of every animes before you die. Well atleast if your time comes, you still able to watch your favourite anime." 

"Seriously Zendee?" she said in disbelief and releases a heavy sigh. "You've got to wake up." she uttered and snapped her finger infront of his face. "You talk like you've completely lost your mind." 

"What's wrong with that? I'm just stating the facts. I believe I have a point." 

"Do you still prefer to watch anime than to listen to our discussions?" 

"Sorta." he lifted his shoulder. Oh I can't believe this. My two silly friends were having an argument in front of me, during lesson. "But anyways, have you heard the new song of Twenty One Pilots?" 

"Can you please stop? Don't you see??" 

"Don't I see what?" he asked with a puzzled look. 

"This?" Jessica pointed out, telling she was listening. But he just blinked, probably didn't get it.

"Your sweater?" I gave myself a facepalm. He's hilarious. "Yeah, it looks good on you." 

"Seriously?" Jessica gasped. If I were in her situation, that would also be my reaction. "Zendee you've been bothering me since mor—"

We flinched. It was the sound of a long stick whipped on the desk. Our eyes shifted to the front and witnesses Ma'am Torres's burning gaze. 

"Mr. Zendee Loiue and Ms. Jessica Payne, am I interrupting someone?"

"Heyyyyy… c'mon, the two of you." I whined at them, grabbing their forearm to make them close to each other. They're only few inches away. "Can you please settle each other down? We're friends right? Helping hand?" I smiled but none of them responds. 

Zendee was looking down while Jessica was crossing her arms and staring sassily to her perfectly painted nails. "C'mon it's just a little things, no big deal." I told them as I pleased. "Pretty please?" 

"Fine." Jessica said reluctantly, looking away. 

I smiled and looked at him. "Zendee." 

"In one condition." 

"Zendeeee." 

"Ok fine." he sighed defeatedly. "No more war." 

"That's not a war." I told him. 

He looked at Jessica and smiled before lending both of his arms. "Ok, it was my fault. I'm sorry, let's hug." 

Jessica and I chuckled before she threw her arms around him. 

"You guys should love and respect each other, ok? Just always remember that I'm always here whenever you guys have a misunderstanding. I love the both of you." I told them and flashed a warm smile. 

They hugged me and giggled. 

"Brendaaa!" I look up. I saw mom, she's inside the car, waving and smiling sweetly at me. "C'mon sweetie let's go home." 

I gazed back at my friends. "Guess I should say goodbye. Remember what I've told you." 

"Of course." they said in sync and said their goodbye before I made my way towards the car. 

But before I was able to hopped in, Jessica yelled. "Bye Brendaaaaa!" 

I glanced and waved back at them. "Byeeeee." I beamed and shut the door. 

"Honey." 

"Hm?" I mumbled, placing my handbag beside me. I was at the back seat. 

"Your cousins will visit you in our house today." 

"Today?" I gasped with a sparkle on my eyes. 

"Yeah, arent you excited?" 

"I am—but wait, which cousins?" 

"Jess, Jessie, Jessa." 

"It's been five months since the last time we've seen each other. I really miss them." 

"Well then, cherish the moments you spend your time with them." 

"Sure, I will." 

Jess, Jessie, and Jessa are actually triplets, they're my cousins in mom's side. While I got two in my dad's. 

The car ride was peaceful, I was looking up on the giant billboards, then a scenario struck me. 

My last nightmare. 

I sighed and lean my head back to the seat. Watching every houses and streets on every roads we pass. 

"Oh mom! Wait." I exclaimed as I sits straight. "I want some Sorbetes." 

(Sorbetes means ice cream) 

"Oh, ok." mom pulled over. 

I open the car window and could clearly hear the ice cream's bell. 

"Sorbetessss!" I yelled, grabbing the old man's attention. He pushed the cart towards our way. "20 pesos please." I said and took my purse out of my Hermes Bag that dad gave me and found a 100 bill. 

"You want mom?" 

"Don't mind me." 

"Ok." 

Manong gave me the ice cream and I handed him the 100 peso. "Here. Keep the change." 

(Manong is what you called here in the Philippines an old man who's usually a vendor or a driver.) 

"Thank you miss." 

"You're welcome." 

"That's so generous of you honey." I smiled and so as mom. 

We're now heading to our village, Manong Ely open the gate for us. Mom parked the car beside, I hopped off and made my way inside the house. 

I walked straight into my bedroom to see my cute little puppy, but to my surprised he's gone. I wandered around the room but he's nowhere to be found. 

I walked out of my bedroom and made my way downstairs to the kitchen room. 

There I saw mom. "Mommy where's Golden?" 

"Taking care of Yaya Silvia. She's at the garden." 

"Ok, thanks mom!" 

"You're welcome." 

I immediately went to the garden and could already hear his little barks. "Golden!" 

"Arf! Arf!" 

"I miss you so much…" I uttered as I brought him to my arms. 

"He pooped around the hallway." 

"What??! Eeew." I wrinkled my nose at Yaya Silvia. 

"But I already cleaned it up. Nothing to worry." 

"Sweetieee." I snapped my head to the glass door where I could see mom holding a glass of milk. Mom walked to me. "Go to sleep so you can have energy later. Your aunt told me they'll be here at 3pm." 

"Ok."

"Brenda sweetie wake up." someone's caressing my cheeks. I slowly opened my eyes and it was mom. "Your cousins are already here, wake up honey." I yawned. "Guess someone's had a great sleep today huh." 

"Yes, it really was. Thanks for the milk." I sneered. 

"You silly. C'mon." mom chuckled and helped me to climbed out of the bed. 

"Brenda!!!!" 

"Jess! Jessie! Jessa!" I yelled in happiness while sprinting down the stairs. "I missed you so much guys!" I uttered in a happy tone while giving each other a hug. 

"Us too!" 

It last for a seconds until mom walked towards us. 

"Hi Aunt Selene." they said. 

"Hey there kids, let's eat first so you guys can bond right after this." 

The afternoon have passed, it was five o'clock and I'm here in my room with my cousins. 

"Your room got a lot of stuff toys than it was before. I've miss your room." it's Jessa who's sitting down on the carpet, taking pictures of my favourite stuff toys. "It looks even better." 

"Thank you." 

Jessie suddenly appear from the door. 

"Hey he's not barking at you anymore." I beamed in surprise. He's now holding my puppy who's barking and growling at him earlier the first they came here. 

"How did you do that?" Jess said in a high pitch tone, probably amazed. 

"What's your secret?" I asked. 

"I'm a professional dog trainer." he responds with a grin. 

We chuckled at his comment and even threw him some big pillows that earn a giggle from him.

"Honey what are you doing?" mom asked, making her way towards me. I'm in the living room, sitting down on the couch. Pulling my knees to my chest with a book on top of my knees. 

"I'mmm, coloring a book." 

"Oh that's great, then what are those drawing?" mom asked as she sat next to me. 

"It's a Tangled." 

"Tangled? What's that all about? Mind telling me?" 

"It's about a girl who's locked up by her overly protective mother on their tower." I paused, my attention is strictly on coloring. "As the time goes by, she wish to her mother to see the world outside, but her mother disagreed. Telling her how dangerous outside and she was too worried if something bad might happen to her. And so her mother said that she was the only one who's capable to go outside." 

"And then, while her mother is gone, her wish to escape into the world outside finally comes true when she meets someone who took the courage to climbed their tower, he was actually a thief, his name is Flynn." 

"Oh, that's very interesting then." I could see mom's slowly bobbing her head with my peripheral vision. I'm still having fun coloring. "What else?" 

"Because of him, she finally have seen the world with that guy." 

"But you said he's a thief right?" 

"Yes he was a thief but, he has a good heart." 

"Oh, I see…" 

"But then she finds out something that could change her life, she realized that the mother who raised her is a gigantic liar." 

"Why?" 

"The only reason why her mother doesn't want her to get out of the tower is because she might've find out her true identity that will ruin her mother's life forever. Her mother was pretending to be overly protective at her so she wouldn't know the truth that could lead to the reality. She is the long lost princess of the King and Queen." I explained as I was busy coloring Rapunzel's dress. "In fact, her mother just wants her precious long hair." 

"What's with her hair?" 

I paused and looked at mom. "Her hair is like a magic, and it was powerful that can turn someone younger again." 

"And that old witch slash the fake mother wanted to use it. She took her out of the castle when she was a little." I added. 

"When everything seems clear to her, she took the courage to confronts her fake mother. She told her everything she finds out. She was very upset, she's gone mad at her. Because her mother is fake, she lied. The fake mother hides her true identity. She lied to her, she pretented that she was the true—" 

"That's enough, that's enough." I abruptly stop and stared at my mom, she looks frantic. "Everythings clear to me." mom gave me a warm smile. "What a nice story." 

I smiled back. "Yeah, it's a nice story." I agreed and went back on coloring. "The witch gets her karma like what she deserves by turning to ashes." 

Mom sits next closer to me and hugged me like the way she used to. "Is there... a problem, mom?" I asked and looked up at her, then I saw some tears streaming down her face. "Mom are you crying?" 

"Tears of joy." 

I turned at mom to face her. I began to feel worry, I don't like seeing my beloved mom crying like this. "I shouldn't have told you the story, I know it's kinda sad and over whelming at the same time." 

"I'm just happy and grateful that I have you, that we have you." mom said between her hoarse voice. "You don't know how much happy I am the day you came." 

"You're such a blessing to us." mom smiled and brought her left hand on my face. 

"Mommy why are you saying that?" my voice cracked. My eyes is strictly glued to my mom's. "Are you going to die? Are you sick?" 

"Noo, no-no-no baby…" mom shook her head, sobs filled the room. "I'm good. I just wanted to tell you how I feel to have a kid like you." 

"Mommy's alright, don't worry." mom gave me a warm smile, gently brushing my face with her thumb. 

My tears holding back, I lean closer to my mom and threw my arms around her. "I love you so much mom…" 

My heart melts from the last word she said.

Why he is calling me?What he wants right now?I want to see this anime,but I can't because I have to take this call.O accept the call puting the phone on my ear.

When I put her on the bed I walk to living room seeing Jungkook on the couch watching on TV paid a lot of attention.When he saw me he smiled a lot.He hit the couch saying to me to sit down to him and I shake my head.
"I have to go home,Jungkook,it's late",I says to him walking to the door
But he stop me holding my wrist.I look at him and then at our hands.I lift up my eyes looking at his eyes deep.He doesn't looks another way just my eyes and I blush.He interviewed his fingers with mine pulling me a little closer to him.

I sent to my mom a text that I will stay this night to Jungkook house.My mom sent me an emoticon with a big smile and a thumbs up.My mom tease me again when it comes to Jungkook.She tease me that she knows that I like him.

I turn my head to looking at Jungkook who seem he is serious when he says my name.I bit my lip panicked that I don't know what he wants.

I want to says something,but I closed my mouth.I don't know what to say.I look at him panicked.I know that he wants to talk about our relationship and that he wants to be together.

I look at his brown eyes that are glitter like a moon.He take my hands to his hands looking at me with a fake smile.I don't want to see him sad and that's makes me sad too.I want to Jungkook to be happy.
"It's not I don't want to be with you,but I don't want to hurt you,again",I murmured looking at our hands that are fits perfectly

When he connect his lips with mine I panicked at first not knowing what to do.He moves his head on a side depending to this kiss.I put my arms around his neck pulling him to me to kiss me more deeper.He moves his hands to my back to my waist being closer to him feelings his chest and abs on his shirt.
He hold me tightly not broke the kiss want to feel me a lot.He stick his tongue on my mouth savoring my mouth.Recently I eat something sweet and he knows it because he moan when he stick in his tongue.I moan too when he ran his hands inside my shirt.I shiver travel all my body making me to shake a little.
He feels me pulling away a little having our forehead connect.Both of us breath heavily because we kiss a little longer than I expected.He put his head on the crock of my neck feeling his hot breath.

Shishio saw three aircraft that released colored smoke, flying across the screen on the TV screen, while Misaki picked up the microphone and started dubbing the anime's narration, though, he didn't think that the anime and the dubbing narration were hardly matched on...
"Sakurasou is waiting for your arrival!" Misaki said with full of spirit while watching her anime.
The anime on the TV screen was full of various cute and colorful characters and backgrounds.
Shishio saw three aircraft combined into a fighter robot cat, and it shot out a lot of missiles toward the enemies.
"Pew pew pew ka-blam! Boooom!"
Shishio looked at Misaki with a frown on his face, it was all good for her to mimic the sound of missiles and explosions, but there was no need to spray her saliva on the TV screen.
Countless missiles that had been launched, started to chase after other enemies and this time, it was a huge spaceship, but it wasn't easy since the enemy was jumping around and showing extraordinary skill, dodging all the missiles without stopping, and suddenly the enemy transformed into a giant rabbit robot. Then, along with Misaki's dubbing, an explosion happened on the screen, and the giant rabbit robot was defeated by the fighter robot cat.

A young child was walking alone on the sidewalk in Dawn as the young child seemed to be a 10 year old child wearing a blue shirt and striped with a pinkish purple colour, blue pants, and brown shoes and had a bandage in his cheek. The child looked roughed up and beaten up as the child was beaten up by his classmates because he was told he was to meek and looked like either a Female or a Male but he thought he looked very man like. He was also bullied because he was also the only student in the school to be an orphan as many student's teased him for not having parents to visit him when it was parents day. But luckily he had his grandparents to take care of him as when his parents was killed by a car accident they were the only people who were willing to take care of him as people often thought of him as bad luck.
As he reached his home which was a ordinary suburban house but a bit old and roughed up. When Frisk enter his home he called out to his grandparents but didn't hear a response as he started to look around the house he saw a note which said " Frisk dear could you take care of the house for a while since you grandfather and I will visit some of our close friends. Don't worry as we will buy a souvenir after we return and please don't be sad we will return soon so see you soon Frisk, Love Grandma."  As Frisk heard this he was a bit sad but felt determined and decided to properly take care of the house . While this was happening a golden-silver soul was wandering across the void but suddenly the soul vibrates strongly and suddenly disappeared from the void as the soul seemed to have been attracted to somewhere and the soul seemed to be excited to go it's destination.
As Frisk was doing his homework in his bed suddenly a golden-silvered heart appeared at the top of his head which seemed to have came from a rift that came out of nowhere in his room. As Frisk was shocked and wonder what it was in his own chest a similar red colored heart came out and seemed to approach the golden-silvered heart. The two hearts spin in a axis together and eventually crashed as the two soul collided the red colored heart broke a part and fused with the golden-silvered heart. the fused heart became a fusion of red,silver and gold in a layout of the right side of the heart had the silver coloring , the middle part of the which was the most prominent was the red color , and lastly was left side of the heart which had the golden coloring. As the now fused heart returned to Frisk chest Frisk felt a horrible pain that came from the chest as Frisk fainted.
As Frisk woke up we heard a Sound came from his head which said;

As Frisk saw this he was shocked but as he sa this he started to remember new things that was not his own memories. The memories seemed to have talked about an alternate world similar to his where in this world there where various anime, games and comics. as he saw the memories he saw a world that seemed to be his, as he tried to remember everything about the other world knowledge of his world he found out that in the events of his world in the other world he was the protagonist of a game called undertale where he had a special power called Reset and he either saved the monsters who lived in Mt. Abbot which he though where just a legend, or he killed all of the them. 4 people where the most interesting people he saw which were called , Chara , Flowey/Asriel , Sans and the one named W.D Gaster. He wanted to go to mount Abbot to find out if the memories he found where really real but because of the soul fusion caused frisk to become more confident , more wise and more smart, and it also caused Frisk to have a new personality which was more cunning and strategic and more mature. As Frisk felt he was getting over himself he decided to prepare more items and other stuff and also decided to figure out more about the moral system and how it works. As he didn't want to be like the other him in the other world who fell accidentally on Mt. Abbot without any items, and didn't had any experience in both combat and about running away as he somehow always getting cornered. He saw that some monsters in the otherworld where very kind but some seemed to be very aggressive so he decided to be neither like the pacifist or genocide route and create a new way to go on this adventure. He also decide to go in mount Abbot in 5 years since he didn't immediately want to go to mount Abbot as a 10 year old and it seemed to be more appropriate to go there as a teenager who had a more developed body. After deciding his goal Frisk still did all the the task to properly take care of the house as even if he had changed a bit he still had his love for his grandparents and wanted to help them out.

Once on Mysterious and Ominous Mountain a Young Boy was standing in front of A hole and then said "Well seems like it's time for the adventure to begin"

BLUE raised her right brow when she saw that the man who had mistaken her table as a trashcan started to draw. Blue was slightly amazed because he drew directly with a pen. He didn't even went through a rough sketch. He proceeded to draw the clean line art directly and what makes Blue raise her brow is because he doesn't make any mistakes. Quite skillful, huh?
"It looks like an anime character." Blue spoke to the man in Chinese.
"En. It's in manhwa style." Blue's eyes narrowed when the man spoke. The only Chinese word he spoke was 'En.' He spoke the rest in English.
"Fei hua! You can speak in English, meaning you can also understand English, right? Why didn't you tell me? I'm not confident with my Chinese accent because i don't use it often. Tian na!"

"You didn't ask..." The man responded and continued to draw.

"I don't want to flatter you but your accent is really good. My accent can't be compared to yours though I lived here in Sanya for five years."

"I have colored pencils but I only brought 12 colors with me because I don't really use it. I'm just using watercolor."
"Give it to me." Light said and Blue scanned through her things. She immediately brought the colored pencils to Light when she found it.
Blue's forehead furrowed when Light started to color the drawings with watercolor. Then what is the colored pencils for?
Blue's question was answered when Light started to use the colored pencils. Ah, he's using it to enhance the colors.
When he finished coloring the first drawing, Blue's amazement was visible in her eyes. The drawing looks like it was digitally painted. She underestimated the shameless man. From now on, she will secretly look up on him.

"I know what you're thinking. I'm easily bored so I always take my stylus pen with me, then I can draw something on my phone." Light explained to Blue and the latter just nodded her head.
Minutes later, Light showed his phone screen to Blue and Blue's eyes lit up. The chibi is very cute, and it really resembled her though it's just in 2D.

Light nodded in response and showed his Hello account's QR code to Blue. Blue scanned the code and they are now mutuals in Hello.
Blue stared at her phone screen screen that displays Light's account. His username is Light Helios Lim. Do his parents love the sun so much?
Meanwhile, Blue's account was also displayed in Light's phone screen. Sorrow Blossom Qin, that's her username. Eh, who would name their child 'Sorrow'?
Light can't stop himself from asking Blue, "Why is your first name Sorrow Blossom?"
"Hmm, my Mom's name is Love, so she named me and my sister Sorrow and Joy, so Love's Sorrow and Love's Joy. Do you know Kreisler? Two of his pieces are Love's Sorrow and Love's Joy. Light thought for a while and decided that he should also ask his parents why he was named Light Helios.
Light just sent the chibi picture to Blue and Blue stood up to send him out of the room. Light took all of the foods given by Blue with him.

The blonde haired woman stood in front of the students, not far from where I was standing with a large smile on her face, although it was clearly fake. She looked like she didn't want to be here at all.
She clapped her hands and began to speak to the class.
"Okay class, today we have a new student. Everyone give a warm welcome to Elijah Lutz."
I waved. "Nice to meet you all. I hope we can have a nice year together."
To my surprise the class erupted with chatter. Guys talking enviously about how they need to watch out for me and girls giggling and gossiping about me. A few girls were even arguing over who was allowed to talk to me. I guess Esther was right. This place is a lot easier and people are definitely more feeble minded.
The teacher, whose name I didn't bother remembering, clapped her hands again to shut the class up. I thought it would be a worthless attempt but it was a surprisingly effective method.
"Quiet down everyone."
She scanned over the class for a second and then pointed at an empty desk, right near the window. "Let's see...you can sit right there Elijah."
Window seat, Huh? Well if that isn't the most overused cliché. Well whatever, guess it means I get to be the main character.
I sat down in the seat and let down by red and black backpack. I looked outside of the window to see the courtyard where the athletic events most likely happen, although it was empty now for obvious reasons.
"Since you don't have your books yet you can share a book with a person near you. Don't be afraid to ask one of your neighbors for help."
And with that she turned to the board behind her and started furiously writing on the chalkboard.
I looked to the right of me to see an extremely built guy, the likes of who couldn't possibly be a high school freshman. He had shaven black hair, small eyes, and a large ears. He wore a red and black jersey with the BULLS 23 on it and matching black shorts on it. He was lifting a dumbbell with one arm and flipping the pages of a sports magazine with the other.
Nope, I thought. Not dealing with it.
Then I looked behind me to see a very colorful girl sitting behind me. She had an ombré hair color pattern that started out sunset orange that evolved into a pinkish red into a galaxy purple. Her long hair was extremely sparkly and included star shaped hair clips of different colors. Her eyes were a mix of starry purple and blue but what I found weird was she didn't have regular pupils. Her pupils were yellow and shaped just like stars.
She appeared to be busy coloring a page, which I thought wasn't too weird, until I saw her art. It looked more like she printed an image off of the internet than a drawing. She was coloring in the galaxy and hundreds of stars on her paper only using three markers using a perfect mix of purple, blue, and black.
...Let's try one more, I thought.
I turned around and tapped the back of the guy in front of me.
Please be normal, I thought. Please be normal.
The guy turned around with a confused look on his face. In comparison to the other two he looked surprisingly normal. He had neat blue hair and a navy blue t-shirt. He looked like he was wearing blue jeans but I couldn't tell his shoes from under his seat, not that it really mattered.
"Yo new kid, what'd you need?"
"Hey, by chance, could you share your book with me?"
He studied me for a second but it didn't look like he was looking at me. Rather, it looked like he was looking through me. He looked back to his book, as if he had a tough decision to make. Then he shrugged.
"Sure man, you can take it. I don't really need it."
He grabbed the book and plopped it on my desk.
I really don't trust this guy, I thought. He just gave me a bad vibe. But he gave me his book, so I guess I should at least be appreciative.
I smiled. "Ah, thank you."
"No problem, just tell me if you have any questions." He raised his out hand to shake. "I'm Mark."
I clasped his hand. "Nice to meet you."
"Likewise."
Before he turned around, he leaned in and started whispering.
"By the way, be careful of that girl behind you. She's really weird."
"Noted."
And with that he turned around.
I didn't need your help to figure that out though. To be honest, I don't even think she's worth messing with. It's best I just leave her in her own little world.
I looked down at the book to see it say: Algebra 1. Oh it's math class. How boring. At least give me a more challenging level.
I didn't really pay very much attention throughout the class period. The teacher called on me twice, and I met her question with the right answer each time, much to the amazement of my classmates. At the end of the hour, the bell rung for lunch. But rather than leave for lunch, my classmates swarmed my desk. At least ten people surrounded me, the majority being girls. They began bombarding me with questions.
"Hey, hey, where are you from?" one girl asked.
"Does everyone have white hair and sparkling blue eyes like you where you lived?" Another girl asked.
"Can I touch your hair?" A guy asked.
All the girls paused and looked at the guy with clear disgust in their eyes.
"Ahah, never mind," he said as he backed away and ran out the classroom.
Then the girls resumed their barrage of questions.
"Do you like sports?"
"Do you like anime?"
"Are you single?"
"Do you date blondes?"
Eventually they stopped asking questions and waited for a response. I thought about all their questions for a second before answering, to make sure I wasn't rude and accidentally skipped over one of them. I had to remain likable.
"Classified, no, no, I prefer manga but yes, yes, and no."
I could hear a few disappointed groans and a few celebration yelps from the army of girls that surrounded me.
"He won't tell me where he's from. I was right. He's definitely the mysterious type."
"He watches anime and reads manga? He's definitely a catch."
This is going to be a very easy year if these are my classmates, I thought.
"Hmm, What about, what type of magic can you create? If you go to this school, then you must have magic."
I smiled at them. "My magic's not that impressive. I'm a rune mage," I said.
"Oh, is that all," the girl with long purple hair responded. "Well it's certainly rare but not really that special. Ah, I didn't mean to insult you or anything."
"It's fine. You're completely right," I said. "It's nothing special."
After a few more questions, the crowd dispersed after realizing they wasted half their lunch time trying to play 21 questions with me. With that only a few people were still in the room, one being the sparkly girl sitting behind me, and she seemed to pay no mind to the large crowd that was just here.
My stomach growled.
Of course I'm hungry, I thought. Maybe I'll just leave campus and get food somewhere near here.
I got up and started walking out the room. That is until I was walking out the doorway and a voice stopped me in my tracks.
"By the way, new student, the campus has a policy that students aren't allowed to leave the grounds during lunchtime."
I looked back to see a girl with black hair that was tied into a ponytail and hazel eyes that lacked any care. She had on a white blouse and a blue skirt. She had in earbuds and was staring intently at her iPod.
Di-did she just read my mind? Certainly with magic anything is possible but mind reading should be just as rare as rune magic.
"Huh, how'd you know I was going off campus?"
"I didn't. I heard your stomach growl and wanted to remind you of the school's policy," she answered, not looking up from her iPod. "However, It seems like I was right to do so."
That's impossible, I thought. Her hearing my stomach growl from across the room is hard enough to believe, but she has in headphones as well? It had to be magic of some sort. Sensory magic maybe? Whatever the case is, I need to be careful of her.
"I guess you're right. Well in that case can you tell me where the cafeteria is? I don't really know my way around here yet."
"You're better off asking someone else. I can't help you."
"What do you mean? You know where it is don't you?"
"I can't help you," she repeated, still staring at her iPod.
"Sigh, well thank you I guess. I'll try to ask someone else for help."
Well she's a dick, I thought. I'll just see if someone else knows where it is.
I scanned the barren classroom for others that might be able to help me. Sparkle girl seemed to be finished coloring and was now raising up and admiring her art. Best to leave her alone.
There was a quiet girl with glasses reading a book in back of the classroom. Her eyes were brown like her hair and she had a side bun with a brown scrunchie. She had on a faded orange turtleneck and light blue jeans.
I wanted to go ask her but she exuded pure anti-social aura the closer I got to her. She definitely wasn't an option.
The last person in the room was a boy with blue hair in the corner muttering to himself. He kept mentioning how losing isn't an option and how he needs to remain strong to not let out the demon within. Clearly, he's been watching too much anime.
This sucks, I thought. I'm in a room full of weirdos. I almost miss the girls from earlier. At least they were capable of conversation. Screw this, I'll just find the cafeteria myself. If I'm lucky, I'll find a teacher I can ask for directions.
I left the classroom and turned left in. the hallway. On my right were large windows showing the entrance of the school. On the left were many doors for classrooms, most of which were open due to lunch period. On the blue walls between the classroom doors were fliers for various clubs at the school. None of them really caught my attention but it was interesting just how many of them there were.
As I walked down the hallway, I noticed two guys standing in my way. I tried to walk to the left and they mirrored me. I tried moving to the right and again they copied me.
"Hey you're the new kid right?" The one on the left said. He was pretty big but not exactly intimidating.
Can someone at least learn my name?
I raised my hand out to shake. "Yeah, my name is Elijah. Nice to meet you."
The one on the right slapped my hand out of the way and grinned. He was a lot bulkier then his chubby companion and at least five times more intimidating, but it didn't take me much analyzation to realize he was the stereotypical dumb as a bag of bricks bully.
Esther wouldn't want me to get into a fight on my first day, I thought. I should probably find a way to talk myself out of this.
Both of them held out their hands. "You should know the deal," the one on the right said. "Lunch money, now."
"I would but I had a friend of mine hold my wallet. If you could show me where the cafeteria is I can certainly give you your money."
The chubby one whispered something into his friend's ears and the bulky one nodded.
"Hah, sure thing. Anything for a free dolla."
They definitely think I'm just an idiot. That's probably what his friend whispered to him.
They turned around and began walking and I followed. They occasionally looked back to make sure I wasn't running away. This went on for a minute until the fat one turned around.
"Wait a minute," he said. "You're new. You don't have any friends here."
Hearing this, the brute turned around and got into a fighting stance. It seems words no longer worked on him.
I reached into my right pocket and grabbed slice of gum. I unwrapped it and pressed it with both fingers before tossing it into my mouth and chewing. I stuffed the wrapper back into my pocket. 
Plan B I guess.
The buff bully was charging up a punch. Based on how slow he was, it should be pretty easy to dodge. Or at least that's what I thought until the punch was centimeters from my face.
I zoomed past both of them like a gust of wind and stopped once I felt I gained enough distance. The fliers taped to the walls scattered all over the floors and a large gust of wind hit me from behind. I immediately spit out the gum. But before it hit the ground, The gum zoomed away at high speeds, never to be seen again.
Well that was closer than I'd hope. It's strange how much distance he closed in the time I blinked. It's doubtful an oaf him has time manipulation and if he did it wouldn't make sense for him to use it for so short of a time. Well, it's not something I should have to worry about.
Right as I thought that, the two magically appeared in front of me.
"Eh?" I said.
"You were marked by Tenga," the chubby one snorted.
Marked? I don't remember any sort of markin-
Then I remembered the oaf slapping my hand during our first exchange.
Of course he did. This is stupid. I just want to eat. Maybe that's a good enough excuse to tell Esther after getting sent to the principal's office. Yeah, no, she'll probably still be angry with me. It's fine I have a contingency plan.
I gripped the gum wrapper in my pocket between two fingers and pressed on it. Then I took my hand out of my pocket and stood there, waiting.
The brawny giant once again charged up his fist and the chubby one got in a funny position where it looked like he was about to snap his fingers. Suddenly, they stopped and darted past me.
"Wait get back here," they both yelled.
I put my hands behind my head and yawned. Well that was easy, I thought. Maybe I should've just done that the first time.
I felt the silver wrapper in my pocket disappear.
I started walking forward until I saw two figures appear in front of me again.
I groaned. That mark isn't a one time use. I guess I'll just bite the bullet and suffer the consequences later.
"Stop messing with us," the fat one said. "Just take your beating like man."
"I'd like to not fight if possible," I said.
"Of course, cuz you're a wuss," Tenga said. "Only scaredy cats run from danger."
I sighed. Can't say I didn't try.
I thought they'd foolishly repeat the same strategy as last time, but this time Tenga charged at me. I looked towards the chubby one on the side, who was in position to snap his fingers. If my assumption is right, he can turn off a person's consciousness for around a second by snapping his fingers. If that's true, dealing with him takes priority.
I grabbed another slice of gum and popped it in my mouth. I sped past the brute and clocked the fatty in his neck. I spit out the gum and grasped the empty wrapper. I continued pummeling him until I felt the ground shake. I looked behind me to see the brute had jumped from his original spot and was winding up a punch near my direction. I created a barrier behind me and turned back to my original target. I punched him in his jaw and he finally fell to the ground and collapsed.
Just as he fell, I felt my barrier crack. I turned around to see the brute wailing on my barrier, ultimately breaking it like a mirror.
"Well aren't you persistent?" I asked.
I threw a third piece of gum in my mouth and just as I did the brute threw a haymaker. I dodged it and tapped his shoulder.
"See ya later big guy."
I turned away from him and started walking towards the cafeteria. In the corner of my eye I could see him try to move but was unable to. I could hear him yelling threats and swearing at me in the distance.
"Yea, yea, eat a brick why don't you?"
I spit out my gum and just as I did a small storm cloud appeared above it and jolted it with a lightning.
Huh, so that's its downside. I definitely shouldn't forget to spit it out.
Now that that's out of the way, I can finally eat. At least that's what I thought would happen. As I kept walking the bell rung, letting me know my opportunity to get food was gone. Furthermore, a hand appeared on my shoulder from behind me.
"Mr. Lutz, I need to see you in the principal's office."

Elijah never wanted any of this. A school full of weirdos, egotistical magic users roaming the streets, and fights that create nothing but chaos. At least it isn't his problem right? If only...
