Fukuda Yuuma is just a normal college student who often goes to different conventions when he has free time. At one convention that features a new anime releasing next season, he accidentally bumped to a beautiful girl that was almost familiar to him. Who is this girl he met at the convention and why all of a sudden, a pack of crowds surround them both in a convention?

["Ugh! Come on As! It's a freaking Anime Convention! And that event will only happen once a year!] Jerry exclaimed at the other line, she called me after I ate my breakfast this morning  She told me about this event that she was dying to go for after waiting a year

An anime convention is an event or gathering with a primary focus on anime, manga and Japanese not Chinese culture. Commonly, anime conventions are multi-day events hosted at convention centers, hotels or college campuses. They feature a wide variety of activities and panels, with a larger number of attendees participating in cosplay than most other types of fan conventions. Anime conventions are also used as a vehicle for industry, in which studios, distributors, and publishers represent their anime related releases

Anime conventions often have panels, which are open ended discussions involving some pre-determined topic, usually related in at least some way to anime. Panels usually come in two segments, the host puts on a presentation or does an interview with a guest, and then the fans are asked to give questions. The topic scope for panels is varied and can include things from manga to upcoming announcements by an industry. There are also workshops that are like panels but are more geared towards instructions through a major or specific task such as how to draw manga, make computer animation, or how to become a voice actor. Another event at most anime conventions include screenings of actual anime shows that can last through the day.

Anime conventions can also include contests. Contests can focus around costumes (or cosplay), art works (drawn, sculpted, painted), anime-related music videos, video games, dice games, card games, and many other activities. In some cases, tangible prizes have been offered as winnings in these contests. An Exhibit Hall or Dealers' Room is also popular at anime conventions. Publishing companies, distributors, and other proprietors often arrive to exhibit and/or sell their newest products to fans. Wares can include graphic novels, manga, anime media, action figures, apparel or pre-made costumes, music CDs, software, decorations, toys, art books, specialty foods, and many more.

There are also art shows at anime conventions. The shows are similar to those at a traditional museum or gallery. Artwork of all kind is put on display for inspection, and in some cases for purchase/auction bidding, by the viewer. Entry is usually only restricted by space available & registration with the convention. The artist can choose to be present to display, discuss, or take commission in a variation of the art show known as the Artists' Alley. Artists may also include crafts, drawn art, self-published books or video, fanzines, and more.

I just take a deep breath and have a huge long sigh that I ever had as I agree to accompany her later this afternoon, I heard her squeek like a mouse in excitement at the other line

["I'll pick you up after lunch then"] Jerry said and hang up. I let myself fall to my soft and warm bed as I stare at the ceiling for who cares how long that I was staring when suddenly my door slammed open as Adranus came in

"Asbel!"

"What?" I asked lazily with a boredom on my voice

"Guess what?"

"What?"

"Stella has finally answered me!"

"What kind of question did you asked her? 1+1?" I asked sarcastically

"She is now my Girlfriend!"

"Wait, wait, wait. You mean Girl Friend? a friend girl?"

"Will you please stop being sarcastic?" ~Adranus

"Fine, fine, fine... So, what do you mean?" ~Me

"Stella and I are finally Ina relationship! A couple!" ~Adranus

"Congra— wait what?!" I asked him once again as my eyes widen in disbelief, believing that I heard it wrong

"Yes! After courting her for how many knows, she finally said yes!" My Poor Brother Adranus said with a joyful tone. Seriously?! What did Adranus saw on her that we don't? Or maybe he didn't saw what we saw on her!

Dang!

No offense but yeah, I like Stella when I first saw her but when I met those eyes of her's, those eyes showed disgust as she saw me after Adranus introduce Celeste to her. I saw disgust on her eyes as she forced a bitter sweet smile that even I and Celeste can see through to those fake smiles of her's when my Brother, Adranus, introduced me to her, knowing that I am their sister

Jerry picked me from home, as o  our way to the mall where the Anime Conversation was going to happen, I told her about Stella and my poor brother's relationship status that even Jerry disliked

"Seriously?!" She exclaimed as I nodded in response. "That's totally messed up!"

"I know..." ~Me

"Poor Adranus, being deceived by that transparent b*tch" She said with a long sigh. The car stopped at the parking lot as Jerry and I get off and thanked her driver, Sir Rafael

"This is going to be fun~" She sang the last word of her sentence as we head to the venue, I just chuckled and shakes my head as I push back my thick lense glasses up. As soon as we arrived, my eyes popped out

Wow! Just wow! There were a lot of amazing cosplayers passed by as I explore the place through my eyes as I looked around. There are a lot of stands... Mangas, figurines, and etesetera etsetera etsetera

"Let the fun begi—" She was cut off as she was bumped into someone and about to fall on the ground when someone caught her before her a** fell to the ground. She was saved by a a cosplayer dude, a freaking handsome cosplayer

"Daijōbudesuka?" (Are you okay?) He asked her as I felt my stomach flipped upside down

*Fan girling mode on!*

"Eh?" ~Jerry

"Jerry?" ~Him

"Lotus?" ~Jerry

They knew each other?

"It's been a month!" He said as he helped her stand up

"Yeah, by the way. This is Asbel, Asbel? This is Lotus" Jerry said, introducing us to each other, I nodded at him when he suddenly grabbed my and kissed the back of it

"So... Shall we talk somewhere else?" He asked, Jerry and I both looked at each other as Jerry looked back at him and smiled in response

We're at the dressing room right now, this Lotus dude's team or group or something. Jerry and I both were waiting for him to get change on his normal clothes

Jerry told me on how the both of them met a year ago, Jerry got lost as she got separated by Kim and Kimmy, Jerry's cousins. Gladly, Lotus found her and unexpectedly, when Lotus bought Jerry to his team's dressing room. She saw Kim and Kimmy and reunited to each other, also knowing that Lotus was a friend of theirs

"I was even surprised, knowing that Lotus was actually a—"

"Sorry for keeping you guys waiting" A voice said behind us, cutting Jerry's sentence. I looked behind and a hazelnut hair and forest green eyes appear on my sight

"Let me introduce myself once again, I am Lotus Ye" *smile smile smile*

"Asbel right?" Lotus asked me, I nodded at her as she suddenly grabbed my right hand and kissed the back of it.

Asbel Moon, the girl who has an X-tra Large body. Asbel was always being bullied by her entire school life, but gladly, her Knight and Shinning Armor was there to protect her.

One day, that protector of her's confesses his feelings towards her. Everything went smoothly on their relationship, until when an unexpected scene make her world shattered into pieces that cause their relationship to fall apart

Asbel was hurt and being betrayed, and because of that. She wanted revenge, and after 5yrs. she's back. She's not the X-tra Large they once knew that will just take a simple revenge, because she's now Miss XL. The most fameouse model, designer, and a successful business woman. And operation Miss XL's Sweet Revenge starts now

Ivy barely managed to make it through her classes until it was time for the dance. She was already in her makeshift Brown Recluse costume and was on her way to Carson's house to pick him up. Since she had done the asking, she had gotten permission to use her mom's car for the night. 
She wondered what kind of thoughts Carson would have when they weren't at school. Up until very recently, she was under the impression that ever only ever thought about academics. 
He had already proven himself to be more interesting than she first thought. What sort of things would he be thinking about outside of school hours? 
When she pulled up in front of his house, he was in the middle of watching something based on his thoughts. Anime? That was the only thing she knew of that he liked watching. It could be—it sounded like he was watching a fight sequence. 
Ivy didn't know much about anime but she had heard that there were a ton of different subtypes that were completely different from each other. There was a lot of varying content under that larger genre. 
She would ask him about it if the subject ever came up naturally. That was a problem with telepathy; you couldn't ever reference what you heard in people's heads. 
Carson's thoughts changed as soon as she sent a text to let him know she had arrived. 'Ah crap, do I have everything? Shoes…phone…where's my student ID? They won't let me into the dance without it!'
He stumbled out the door two minutes later wearing a black t-shirt and pants with combat boots and a black eye mask. A utility belt, small pouch strapped to his thigh, and a bow and quiver of arrows completed his costume. 
His costume was clearly homemade too but looked a lot better than her morph suit. Oh well. 
He blinked at her after opening the passenger side door. "I almost didn't recognize you for a second with that wig on."
Ivy laughed. "Really?"
She felt a bit weird wearing it since she had never done anything like this before. Dark red definitely wasn't her color; it made her look even paler than she already did. But she was trying to be authentic as possible considering the cheap morph suit. 
"Yeah. You definitely look like Brown Recluse though," he said. 
'I'm glad I didn't go overboard on the costume. If I had tried to be more authentic than this I would have totally embarrassed myself. At least I had this thigh pouch from the time I went to a convention as Train Heartnet.'
 Less than a minute of seeing him outside of school and Ivy already had a lot more information than she had bargained for. This guy whose brain was full of nothing but homework was a secret anime junkie to the point of going to conventions? 
She wasn't completely out of touch with all things popular—there were a handful of people whose thoughts she had heard at school that went to those things too. Anime, superheroes, sci fi…all sorts of nerdy things were celebrated at conventions. 
Ivy wasn't a huge fan of popular media because her entire life consisted of spoilers. If she did watch or read things, they had to be obscure enough that other people wouldn't be thinking about them. 
Sometimes her parents and brother dragged her to the movies against her will to see things she already knew the plot twist for. It wasn't like she had a valid excuse for not wanting to go either. At least she usually got movie theater snacks out of it. 
"And you look like Eagle-Eye," she replied simply. 
"So…are we meeting up with anyone else?" Carson asked. 
'Ivy doesn't really talk to anyone in class but these things usually involve groups, don't they? She has to be friendly enough with someone to at least double…"
She nearly snorted. Yes, she was friendly enough with someone to double date. That was the only reason she had asked him in the first place. Lydia didn't want to go alone or with any of her other friends for whatever reason. 
"My friend Lydia and her date. Not sure what his name is."
Lydia had never told her straight up who the boy she had asked out was. If Carson knew Adrian's name before they even met that would make both him and Ivy look weird. 
She was fairly sure at this point that her Adrian and the oddly silent-minded Adrian she knew were the same guy but she really hoped she wasn't wrong. That would make this entire evening of torture pointless. 
Ivy hadn't put her earplugs in yet—she still needed to be able to hear what people were saying at dinner—but they would have to go in before they made it into the dance hall. Hopefully her lack of hearing what people might say to her could be explained by the loud music. 
"Have you known Lydia long?" Carson asked casually. 
"We've been friends since sixth grade," she said honestly. Though she wouldn't necessarily call them friends at that point. Lydia was more like an overly exuberant shadow. She wore Ivy down over time. 
'Wow, that's a while. I don't have any friends that have lasted that long. It makes sense though; Ivy is a lot better at social situations than I am," he thought. 
Ha! No she wasn't. She had the benefit of cheating so she could say what people wanted to hear. That was the only way she managed to fumble her way through social interactions. She wasn't any less anxious about talking to people than Carson, though her worries were more about accidentally giving herself away. 
Ivy wasn't good at making friends or keeping them, despite what he may think. It still baffled her that Lydia had bothered to cling to her as long as she had. Most people would have given up after getting ignored too many times.

Ivy Chamberlain is a simple high school student who just so happens to be a telepath. Knowing everyone's thoughts is pretty boring...so what would happen if she meets a boy she can't read at all?

After meeting up later that day and eating dinner together, Damian and Rose went back to the room around nine pm and fell asleep, on their separate beds of course. 

Waking up the next morning from an alarm on his new phone, Damian got out of bed and noticed that Rose was already gone. Looking at his phone, he saw that she had sent him a message saying that she was going to look for clubs early. 

(She really is active, unlike you) Zera said to which Damian just sighed and disagreed with her.

"It's not that, we just are different people who do things differently," He said before he went and took a shower before putting on another one of his uniforms.

Standing in front of the bathroom mirror with his hair a bit wet, Damian looked at himself as his eyes turned golden before going back to their natural brown color.

(You haven't been practicing your powers in the past few weeks. At least train your control a bit) Zera suggested to Damian as he combed his fingers through his hair.

"I am fine with the level of control I have right now, and there have been fewer and fewer opportunities to practice using my powers, even more so now that we are here." He said as he turned the light off to his bathroom and closed the door after exiting the dark space.

"I chose the sword arts club to practice fighting with a sword, that can be a way to train if I can't find a way to use my powers yet." He said as he left the room after grabbing everything he needed.

Rolling his sleeves up to his elbows, Damian walked around the campus with his hands in his pocket, enjoying the fresh air and gentle morning breeze that accompanied the environment.

"Excuse me! Are you interested in joining our anime club?" A joyful voice said, breaking Damian from his trance-like walk as he turned his head towards the stand just off to the side of the path he was walking on. 

"Me?" he asked as he saw the girl beside him holding some papers while nodding a few times.

"Our anime club well… we talk about anime, watch anime shows and movies, and we even go to conventions if we have time." The girl said, to which Damian smiled and shook his head.

"I have already decided what club to join, thank you for your offer though." He said as he quickly walked off before the girl could try to explain the benefits of the club to him.

(You could have at least let her finish her pitch before you declined) Zera said.

Looking into the distance at people walking down the path he himself was taking, Damian saw the occasional club stand every few meters, he wondered how many clubs there actually were in the school. Truth be told, Had he not already decided to join the sword arts club, he would have joined the anime club. 

He was a fan of anime and anime-related things for a large portion of his childhood and high school years. So among the things they did in the club interested him. When he heard that they even went to conventions, he was surprised. he had wanted to go to a convention to see the amazing cosplay outfits that people wore and go to discussion panels to meet some voice actors.

Even so, he had to decline since he wanted to train and improve in some way rather than have no progress whatsoever in his fighting ability since he had a feeling he would need it in the future.

Walking the same cross-campus path for another ten minutes, Damian made it to the eastern side of the campus and found the club stand for the sword arts club. Sitting behind the stand were Mr. Peterson and a young man with short black hair. As he walked up to the stand, the young man stood up and held his hand out.

"Hello, welcome to the sword arts club stand, my name is Ben," The young man said to which Damian quickly shook his hand and replied.

"My name is Damian, I would like to join if that is alright." 

"That's perfect! Please sign your name here and feel free to look at the information we have available on the brochure. The young man, Ben, said excitedly.

"Kid, why do you want to join this club? There are many other clubs out there for you to join so why join this one?" The sponsor, Mr. Peterson asked as he looked at Damian with a speculating gaze.

"Well, I have recently been interested in swordplay so the sword arts club is a great place for me," Damian said as he put the pen down that he had used to sign his name on the registration list before picking up a brochure and opening it.

"I saw earlier online that in this club that you all practice swordplay within your club room right? And you participate in competitions as well." He said as he looked at Ben with a smile.

"That's true, but every year we select a new sword style to train. That specific sword style is used in tournaments for the entire year and then a new one is learned the next year. It is to test the knowledge and ability of the club coaches, ours being Mr. Peterson.

This year we will be learning about the Japanese sword art and styles so if you are not interested then I suggest you cross your name out and go pick another club." Peterson said as he crossed his massive arms over his chest and looked right at Damina.

"If you are learning about that, then I am definitely interested in joining the club," Damian said as he looked right back at Peterson with an improving interest in the club.

"I like you, you don't shy away from my gaze and you accept learning something that we will not continue to learn the following year," Peterson said as he smiled and held his hand out to Damina.

"Welcome to the club Damian" 

"Thank you, Mr. Peterson," Damian said in response as he shook Peterson's hand.

"We will actually start learning about the sword styles next week so until then, you should work on improving your stamina and strength. This club will do practical training as well in order to see if we are prepared enough for the competitions. If I believe we have a shot, then we will go and register for those competitions. If not, then we will simply practice and study the sword arts this year without any competitions."

"Well we can only do competitions if we have twelve people, If we don't have that many then we don't meet the requirements to register," Ben said, to which Peterson sighed and sat back on his chair.

"How many people do you have now exactly?" Damian asked confused as to why the person in charge suddenly seemed a bit disappointed.

"We only have 7, including you," Ben answered as he raised his arm behind his head with a nervous smile.

"Then we would need five more people to make it twelve?" Damian asked, to which both nodded.

"We have until Sunday to find people so we still have a lot of time. Come back here Saturday and we will let you know the updated member count." Peterson said as he smiled, hopeful that some people might be interested in the club and join.

Walking back into his dorm room while carrying a sandwich and drink, Damian turned around after closing the door, to find  Rose removing her top once again. 

"Look away please…" She said as she turned away from him.

Turning his face towards the door, Damian asked Rose a question from across the room.

"Rose, what club did you plan on joining?" He asked causing her to look at him as she slipped on a white tee shirt.

"I was planning to join the community outreach club. They are a club that goes through the nearby community helping out whoever is in need with either food, clothes, or a place to stay." She replied as she told him that he could turn around again.

Turning back around after she gave the ok, Damian went over to his bed and flopped down on his back as he stared at the ceiling.

"I was thinking of joining the sword arts club." He said, much to Rose's surprise.

"Were you not planning on joining that video game club or the anime club? With how much popularity those clubs have the other guys, I figured you would join one of them." She said as she looked at Damian who had turned his head towards her.

"I can't get what I want in those clubs. I want to exercise and learn about swordplay, those other clubs aren't going to help me with that so why join them?" He asked, causing Rose to smile in understanding as she moved her hand on top of her lap, unknowingly making her assets more noticeable to Damian.

"Do you plan to do any exercise outside of the club and still get a job?" She asked curiously as she thought about Damian's schedule.

"I can go a run early in the morning before my classes, and then I can do an evening run if I have the time. As for a job, I will try to get one but if I can't then I will simply do that" He said as he shifted his eyes around her perfectly sculpted figure. 

Her t-shirt clung tightly to her body and with the black skirt still being on, it created an air of sexiness that radiated off her body as her face was half-covered with sunlight. Though he had seen her in a towel yesterday, he was unable to get a good look at her figure since the towel had been covering her well.

Catching Damian staring at her, she smiled since this was the first time in a while that someone had stared at her with eyes of fascination and not lust.

"D-Do you like how I look?" She asked nervously as she looked out of the window beside their beds while her cheeks developed a small shade of red.

"You look amazing…" Damian said quickly before realizing what he had said. Before he could change his words though, he saw Rose look back to him with a gentle smile while she spoke a few words.

"T-Thank you for the compliment," She said, causing Damian to simply relax on his bed as he closed his eyes.

"This will definitely be an interesting college experience…"

The Menacing Mind of Felix Lombardi

Act 2
I peek through the door glass one more time, to make sure I'm not hallucinating. Yep. Ami Fujinami in the mother, fucking flesh. 

 "Felix? I know you're in there, open up" Ami said, in between repeatedly knocking

 "Yea I'll open it up in a minute" I said as I frantically searched for a clean pair of sweatpants to wear.

Ami and I have known each other for the entirety of the 2 years I've been living at this apartment. She and her Grandma have taken pretty good care of me seeing as I'm not exactly the best at it. 

 "Hi Ami, what brings you here?" I asked, trying to push out the conversation with my brother from my mind
 
"Well, a strange man in a dark blue suit was here yesterday and he gave me 2 tickets to Mysticon" 

And then it call comes rushing back

 "Wow that's weird, well have fun" I said as I tried to close the door on her, only for her to stop the door from shutting.

 "He said he was your brother, and that I should ask you to go with me" Ami said, slowly edging towards me like she was trying to get a good look at the reflection in my eyeballs.

 "Well, I have no idea who you're talking about. I don't have a brothe-"

 "Hello? Mr. Lombardi? He said exactly what you said he'd say. Mhmm That he doesn't have a brother. Should I hand him the phone? Ok. Ok. I'll tell him." 

Oh fuck.

"He says if you don't go to Mysticon with me, I should tell Obaa-san to lock you out of the wifi for a month" Ami said, in the most perfunctory tone imaginable.

"First of all, you can't do tha-"

"Yes. Yes I can. And to be honest, I don't care if Mr. Lombardi is your real brother or not, I want to go to Mysticon, and I don't care who with. So you're going with me Felix." Despite the fact that Ami was more or less extorting a date out of me, she did so with the gusto and demeanor of a middle schooler who just won a spelling bee. 
"Why couldn't you just go by yourself?"

"The deal is, I take you, and I get a free ticket. Mr. Lombardi was very clear about this" 

"So I have no choice"

"None at all"

"Alright. Come knock on my door on saturday"

"It is Saturday, you bum"




 "Why aren't we using your car?" Ami moaned as we exited the building. 

 "The train is faster" I said, pulling a pack of cigarettes out of my jacket.

 "Mysticon is in Hells Kitchen right?" Ami asked, whilst reaching into her backpack

 "Yup, and it's...3pm, traffic will be annoying, and I don't wanna worry about driving back if I buy weed." I said, pulling out my lighter

 "What have I told you about smoking when you're next to me." Ami said, pulling out a batton, then flicking it to extend it's length. 

 I put the cig back in the pack, whilst prompting her to sheathe her weapon. Throughout the journey my mind is racing. Ami and I hanging out again? It's not that I like her or anything, it's just that I kind of missed her. Hey I'm allowed to have feelings aren't I? I'm sure you're wondering "but Felix, if you missed hanging out with her, why did you stop talking to her?" Why yes fair reader, that's a very adequate question, however the nature of our relationship isn't that simple. Ami is kind of an all around nerd aficionado, she cosplays, she writes fanfics, she draws, she sings anime openings on youtube, it's kind of scary how much she does all over the place. Recently she's started to get really famous online, she's started to devote a lot more time to it, and She started ghosting. Being distant... And you know me, I ain't exactly a butterfly myself, so we just drifted apart. She should be making money on youtube, couldn't she just get her own tickets?

 "Obaa San wouldn't let me" Ami said as we reached the station. "She's against anime conventions on principle". 

 "Is this about a 'Japan is more than anime' thing?" I asked, shifting over to the right as I stepped on the escalator so I could walk down past the standers.

 "No that's more my parents. Baa san is a reeeeaaally old school Otaku."

 "Then what's her beef with anime conventions?"

 "She thinks they're 'commodified caricatures of otaku culture' or something along those lines" Ami said as we hopped on the train.

 Granny Fujinami isn't wrong in the slightest.

 "So she won't be mad at you for going?" 

 "She's only letting me go because I'm going with you. It's aaalways about you with her."

 "Not my fault i'm the grandson she never had" I said while making a mocking face at Ami.

 "She only loves you cuz you're a broken mess she can nurture. You're like my dad. Ugh, you're like all men really."

 Ouch.

 "Ouch." 

 "Suck it up loser." Ami said, shifting her direction away from me.

 What's going on what's going on going on. Everyone's looking at us. Well I guess I am walking next to Amura. Yes that's Ami's social media name, you try coming up with something better at 12. Mine's [REDACTED]. This is not what I signed up for. Louis Othello Lombardi you fucking bastard. You knew this would happen. You did your homework on Ami and figured out she'd be a lightning rod for attention. Keep me around her, and I'm bound to be assaulted by nothing. But. Fucking. People.

"OH MY GOD IT'S AMURA!" Two young girls screamed. "But I heard you weren't coming? You said so on twitter :(." I swear to almighty Haruhi Suzumiya, if there was such a thing as a frowny face emoji in real life, whatever that girl did was damn close. 

 "Well change of plans ^_^" Oh my god, Ami can speak emoji too!

 "So what panels are you going to? I heard Gail has a panel about anime piracy" Said one of the fangirls, angling towards it on the con directory. 

 "Gail from Crunchyroll?" 

 "Sounds fun! Felix, ikimasu!" Whoever this version of Ami was, I wanted NO PARTS. 

 "Sounds lame. I'm going to the arcade." I was putting my foot down

 "Ok cool. Hand me your pass then. You can pay on your own." 

 "You can't do tha-"

 "Yes. Yes I can. You want this pass?." Ami pulled out the 3 day convention pass out of her purse and dangled it in front of me. Obviously I tried snatching at it, only for Ami to move it out of the way. Damn japanese reflexes.

 "Gotta be quicker than that. We're going to the panel. Follow me." Ami said, tossing me the pass.

 "If you sneak off, I'm calling Obaa chan." she said, in that her perfunctory yet declaratory way.  


 

 
 "...So what you end up having is an environment where it's harder and harder for us to justify hosting servers for anime distribution, because they don't wanna pa- *ahem* because piracy." Or something to that effect I'm not really listening to this Gail lady.

 Anime piracy is a dumb thing to have a panel about anyway, it's not like anybody in this room even knows how to torrent off wonwons, let alone\ how find the right codec for shows with bad compression. These are a bunch of crunchycores. The kinds of anime fans so hopped up on seasonal hype that the mere thought of an anime older than 12 months makes their tongues run dry, and their eyes wire shut.
 
 "Are there any questions?"

 "You got anything to ask?" chuckled Ami. 
 
 "Why are we here. We both know Kissanime is in your bookmarks" I jeered.

 "Networking dummy. I talk to Gail after the panel, and smooth out something over at Crunchyroll" For some reason Ami's eyes did the dollars signs when she said "crunchyroll"

 "In San Francisco? You'd hate it there."
 
 "I'd make it there. That's the important part. I'd really make it. I'd be in." 

 "In what?" I said with a look of befuddlement. 

 "You wouldn't understand. You're basically guaranteed a job after graduation" 

 "Hey, don't make it like tha-"

 "Don't make it like what Felix?" Ami snapped, but less with anger, and more a tired expression.

 The Panel was beginning to wind down, and folks were getting up to leave. Ami bounced out of her seat and darted towards the stage. 

 "Gaaaaaiiiil! Hiii, I follow you on twitter!" Ami screamed, like a schoolgirl seeing a classmate

 "Amura! I follow you too! I love your singing" Gail responded in a surprisingly similar manner.

 "Thanks so much, ugh. That means alot l love you and Sailor Bee's podcast ^_^" This whole display was just. The worst. 

 I backed off from the discussion, but I knew I wasn't gonna be able to make it far without incurring that good old Fujinami wrath. Jeez they're taking forever. Is this a meet and greet? Or a job interview. 
 
"Felix? Oh shit, how you been bruh?" This voice, I recognized it. 

 I turned around, and yup, it was Tyler. 

 "Who let riff raff like  you in here?" I said as we shook hands

 "Is that any way to treat your one black friend:" He responded dryly. 

 "I have plenty of black friends. Unlike you, most of my friends are girls." I shot back. 

 "Yea right, if you ever left your yuppie ass play pad I'd believe you."

 "You'd be surprised how many of em recognize me from Ami's streams."

 "The streams she stopped inviting you to?" 

 "Low blow T." 

 Tyler is a friend from Highschool who runs in the same online circles that I do. We keep in touch through discord and trade merchandise on message boards. He's been trying to break into the FGC since middle school and recently struck a deal with a team based out of Brooklyn, The Mash Masters. He's pretty good, quick reflexes, consistent muscle memory, but he lacks patience, and his neutral game needs work. 

 "Where you headed to after this? Tryna hit up the arcade?" Asked Tyler as he picked up his backpack getting ready to leave. 

 "I'm here with Ami, I gotta check and see where she's headed to" 

 "Whooptish" Tyler said, while making a whipping motion. 

 "You know it's not like that bro." I shot back

 "For her it isn't, for you it is." he retorted. 

 I told him to wait up for a sec as I went over to Ami & Gail. They were still chopping it up like they'd known each other since band camp. 

 "Shoot me a DM on twitter whenever you get the chance, I'd love to get you acquainted with the rest of my team. Maybe even talk bringing you to some other cons around the east coast ;)" Naruhodo, it seems this Gail is also of the emoji Clan. 

 "Sure thing! Don't forget to tweet out the channel link with the picture, and tell Vicky I said hi!" Ami said gleefully. 

 "I definitely will, but uhh, she hates being called Vicky. Victoria or Sailorbee are just fine." Gail responded, with a tinge of trepidation.

"Yea, I made that mistake on twitter once, it wasn't pretty" I said with a chuckle.

"Oh hello, and who might you be?" Asked Gail.

"This is my friend Felix I was telling you about." Ami said. Wait, telling her about what?

"Ah yes, the animator. Ami showed me your fan animation of Diebuster. Very interesting to see a Gainax show done with heavy Yutapon vibes" This lady knows her stuff.

"This lady knows her stuff" I said to Ami. 

"Of course I do silly, I work in the anime industry" The smile Gail shot me as she said this wouldn't be out of place in a Shaft anime.  

"You definitely have some real skills. We're looking for someone to do a sakuga heavy promo for our new youtube ad. If you're interested, Ami has my contact info. It was so very nice meeting the both of you, don't forget to keep in touch." Gail said in a warm, professional tone as she got up to leave. 

 "Well she seems nice" I said to Ami. 

 "You're welcome Felix." Said Ami, in her usual biting tone. 

 "I didn't ask you for that. If I wanted a job at Crunchyroll I'd have one already."

 "'Thanks Ami, I really appreciate you showing my work to someone really influential who can open doors in my chosen profession, would you like headpats?'" Ami said, in a mocking imitation of my sultry ciciillian speech pattern. 

 "First of all, fine, thank you, that was a very nice thing to do, and I was pleasantly surprised. Secondly, do you seriously want headpats?"

 "Don't flatter yourself, you weirdo" And there's the Tsun again. 

 "I ran into Tyler, he says he's going to the Arcade, and I was looking to go with. You in?"

 "Tyler's here? Yea sure, let's go" 
 Ami & I leave the stage and head over to where Tyler is sitting when I get a text on my phone.

[11:58. You]: Yea

 He's just like mom. 

 "Oh my god it's Amura! Could you sign my Fightstick?" Tyler sniggered, his fightstick outstretched. He's such an asshole I love it. 

 "Knock it off, I'd actually sign it if I didn't know you'd just flip it on Ebay" Ami sneered, arms folded and head angrily tossed to the side. 

 "Aww don't be like that, I really did want your autograph. You'd be surprised how many Blazblue players would pay good cash for one" Tyler said, packing his fightstick back in his backpack. 

 "If anyone's gonna make money off the Amura brand it's gonna be ME!" Ami retorted viciously.

 "Now that's just anti-black business" I said, chuckling as Tyler dapped me up. 

 Ami rolled her eyes as heavy as she could roll them and stomped out of the conference room, and we sheepishly trailed after her.

 By this point in the day I'd grown used to Ami being a lightning rod for attention. My camera skills must have leveled up big time from all those pics I had to take, of her with fans. Just getting to the Arcade area of the convention was a whole 20 minutes of photo after photo with weeb after arrested developed weeb, and to be honest I was practicing some big time restraint to not just walk out of the center and catch an Uber home. But surely enough, through fire by force, we found ourselves at the-


Boy was this the kind of place I wanted to be. The whole area was what you'd expect from a high profile convention in a big city. What seemed to be at least 30 TVs all hooked up with consoles spanning an entire auditorium. This wasn't an arcade, it felt more like a Bazaar crossed with a colosseum. You have your old reliables for the boomers like Street Fighter, MK, ok that's neat, there's Melee, 64, Ultimate, Smash 4, oh even Brawl, full house, that's impressive. As we moved through, you could imagine that there were furrowed brows due to the smell, but in all honesty it wasn't as bad as most invitationals I've been to. We couldn't find the game we were here for though; Blazblue. Tyler directed us to the kiosk so we could get directions. 

"Nigga where the Blazblue at?" Tyler said to one of the convention attendees, 
All the way at the back, by the Under Night" The Attendee responded.

 I was just about ready to dart over there when Tyler said: 

 "Nah hol' up real quick bro, I got a question I gotta ask you" uh oh, I hear the Brooklyn leaking out. 

 "Yea? Is there something wrong?" the attendee said, with a befuddled expression.

 "Y'all always hide the anime fighters, what's up with that?" Tyler said blankly, almost with no life at all. 

 "It's not my decision where the games are set up-"

 "That's not what I asked bro. I've done conventions fam, I sat where you sat. NYCC 2017, bigger con than this, and from what I know about my time there, y'all have a meeting to coordinate where the games are set up. Correct?" Oh my god, Tyler what are you doing. 

 "Yes correct" The attendee responded. 

 "So you were in the room when the decision was made, correct?" This is so wacky

 "Yea, but like, I didn't have a choi-"

 "Nobody's asking about a choice, I'm asking you, what was the reasoning behind the decision?" Should I stop this? Or?...

 "They didn't want the anime stuff turning folks away" Oh no, here we go

 "There it is" Tyler said triumphantly as he began to walk off. 

 "Hey, I think it's bullshit too ma-" t

 "Yet you said nothing. You and all your boys said nothing. Aight, I see you fam. Haruhi's watching you" Tyler said, his back already turned and walking away.  "Let's go guys"

 "Did you have to make such a big hoopla you maniac?" Ami said laughing her ass off. 

 "Because I have Principles Fujinami, you should try em some time" Tyler snapped back. 

 "That was the FUNNIEST shit I've seen all day, I'm so happy I knew to record that" Ami said, still cackling. 

 "Wait you recorded that?" Tyler said, shocked

"I uploaded it. Enjoy being a meme" Ami said blankly.

"Not again…" Tyler sighed.

We finally make it to the Blazblue section, and it's about as serviceable as you'd expect. Two TVs both hooked up to PS4s playing Central Fiction. There wasn't much of a crowd, about 5 or 6 people, all looked to be around college age, couple on the boomer side though. All guys. 

"This game is so hyperactive…" Ami said, in a tone betwixt judgement and bewilderment. 

"Not every game gotta be Street Fighter" Said Tyler. "Ey yo, who got next?" Tyler asked a portly asian fellow playing Taokaka. 

"Uhh, I dunno, anybody got next?" the Taokaka player asked. The crowd shook their heads. "I guess it's on you bro after this." 

 Nobody else noticed, But Tyler's killing intent began to spike. I get you're excited kiddo, but you haven't even chewed the scenery yet. 

 The game was pretty hype. There it was Taokaka vs Valkenhayn. Both characters with adequate rushdown capabilities and heavy damage. The Valkenhayn was an even match, but the Tao was just catching clutch reversals at every corner. It felt like seeing a tiger beat a lion by leaving a bigger gash every time they left the scuffle. Tyler, ever the professional, was quiet as a mouse. A mouthy prick like him? Quiet? I know right? But he gets like this when it's Blazblue. The data collection phase. See if Street Fighter is Chess, then Blazblue is Mahjong. The same level of depth, but a wider variety of dealing with situational disadvantages and advantages. Tyler sees what I'm seeing and he's analyzing, putting his pieces together, he's not here for fun. This is off the job training. 
 "FINISH" 6 red letters on the television screen. Read em & Weep. 

 "My turn now right?" Tyler asked the Taokaka player. 

 "Yup. What's your name?" said the Tao player

 "Tyro, and you?" oh yea I forgot that was his FGC name, everywhere else he's Tyrilla. He sucks at names yes I know.

 "I'm Yiao, nice to meet you." Yiao said, pushing his glasses up.

 The character creation screen pops up and… Wait don't tell me he…Oh boy, Tyler's picking his middle school main. Hazama. Yiao on the other hand started mousing over Tao then over to Litchi. Come on pick a character already. After more mousing, his cursor finally landed on Mai... From rushdown to range spam. Just all around bloodthirst.

 Both of them sat in silence as the loading screen started up, until Yiao broke that silence.

 "I've heard of you, Mash Master Tyro. To be honest I was hoping we'd meet. I have this Mai prepared just for you." said Yiao. Yawn. This happens all the time. Tyler's probably got him scoped already too.

 "Yiao, third runner up at Anifight Staten Island. Three. Years. Running." Yup, knew it. Tyler lives for this shit.

 "You wanna know why HowRite was able to beat you 3 to nothing last year?" Tyler said, deadpan staring at the screen.

"THE WHEEL OF FATE IS TURNING" oh shit the round is starting.

 "Cuz he knew if he lost, he'd never get to face my mentor in the finals"

 "But wait. Ulysses isn't on your team?" Yiao said confused, the backstory here is really weird, I'd be confused as well to be honest. 

"REBEL 1" 
 
 "Ulysses is my stepdad."

"Hey, I'm bac...why is there a severed cartoon horse head on the counter?", RJ asked as he entered his apartment.

"Commission", the gruff voice of his roommate replied. He lifted up his hand to reveal an intricate connection of wires to several ring on his hand. Wiggling his hand a little, he made the horse head, blink, wink and smile in a series of quick movements.

"Ah".

RJ, like many of his generation, did not achieve the "American Dream" of having a house in the suburbs with a wife, two kids and a dog.

Instead, he lived in a studio apartment in a city with three other roommates. Luckily, this particular one had four bedrooms, so there weren't any awkward cohabitation moments.

Enter Sergei, a two meter tall Russian man who was built like a viking grizzly bear, had a bachelor's in mechanical engineering and made a living making custom fursuits and cosplays.

Sergei was RJ's college roommate turned apartment roommate shortly after the two had graduated. Back in their school days, Sergei was originally a taciturn student who didn't really do much until he joined the local anime club. He ended up taking a shining to cosplay and used his mechanics know-how to make elaborate cosplays.

Eventually, this lead to him learning about the furry community and the absurd amount of money they're willing to drop for a good fursuit. About a year, several dozen books dedicated to the art of costume making and three conventions later, Sergei had established his name as a well-known fursuit maker.

While RJ's other two roommates initially found this weird, they quickly stopped giving a shit when Sergei presented three months worth of rent in a week.

"MLP"?

"Bravestarr".

"Damn that's old...well, I'll be in room. Later", RJ said as he made his way back to his room.

"Later".

"Ha det", Tatterhood said as she followed RJ into his room. Sergei mumbled another good-bye before catching himself and pausing from his work to stare at RJ's door.

"...did RJ bring home a girl?", Sergei pondered for a second before getting back to his work, "whatever".

"So this is your domicile, huh? Feels cozy", Tatterhood commented as she surveyed the contents of RJ's room. It was a fairly standard set-up: a bed, a nightstand, a computer desk with chair and a shelf filled with anime figures.

"Oh? Are these anime figures? So scandalous"!

"Why do you-nope. Not gonna look into that. Make yourself at home, while I check out what those rewards were", RJ declared as he took a seat at the computer chair while checking the app.

"D'awww. Don't you want to sit next to me on this nice, soft bed?", Tatterhood teased with a smile as she took a seat onto RJ's bed.

"... You're doing this on purpose aren't you"?

"Ja".

"Okay, switching to the app now", RJ declared as she opened up the game and looked at the [Inbox].

With a shrug, RJ accepted the prompt. A moment later, the prompt screen was replaced with a short animation showing a little treasure shaking a bit before opening.

"Gah! How do you keep sneaking up on me?", RJ asked as he stopped his surprised heart.

"You're incredibly dense", Tatterhood replied in a blunt manner.

"I...why does it feel like that had a double meaning"?

"Who knows~ Anyways, you should open up the [Spirit Garden] now. I'm bored and I think your other two companions are bored with floating in empty space", Tatterhood said while flopping back onto the bed.

"Oh? Uh, sure", RJ replied before activating the [Spirit Garden] feature...well attempted to. After clicking on the feature, the game prompted him the following message.

[Insufficient hardware, please connect phone to the nearest desktop or laptop].

[Aren't you sick being a side character?]

As usual. I'll prepare myself for every day life and probably until my death. My life is peaceful. I don't have a lot of friends which is fine, it doesn't bother me. If ever my parent's say go outside and do shopping or hang out with friends, I'll just be watching anime or reading manga outside the house. And when they mean friends they mean that maniac, yuri lover, and most importantly that insignificant pervert.

It's not back stabbing if it's the truth. Just like me that friend of mine is also an Otaku. My friend just won't admit it. My friend is to insecure about not having a relationship once someone finds out about it. But like I said, for me, I don't care about what people think. They have their own brains which is indeed not premium goods, unlike Emma, Norman, and Ray. For me, this is a blessing. 

No one talks to me, No one bothers me, and most importantly I have my whole attention in watching anime and reading manga.

I have to admit I'm a bit of—No not a bit, but a obessess with it. One of my favorite ways to escape reality.

I even plan to became a Mangaka or an Animator, having my own Anime series would be one of my dreams. But for now, I just have to wait for a while...




It was 3:57 A.M. To be honest, I didn't sleep. I was up all night reading Manga. I'll just sleep at school. I mean we do have exams today. I then took a shower, brush my teeth, and prepare myself. After that I fixed my things and went straight to my Yuri lover friend.

When I got there I pressed the doorbell. "Who's their?" It was a woman's voice. "Good Morning po." I greeted her. "Good Morning too." She's one of the people I can tell my problems and that is Yuri Lover's mom, who is also an Otaku. 

My mom and my friend's mom are like sisters. They may not be related by blood but they care for each other. Mom told be they will go to anime conventions and comic-cons to cosplay when they where at their 20's, but for now my mom is busy with her work. 

"Make yourself at home." Tita said. "Hai." And I then went to straight to their sofa. 

I felt a little bored so I decided to read manga. I'm just here to be dropped by school as always. Well I was early, I came here at exactly 5:30 in the morning. And that bastard is still asleep. I asked tita if I can wake my friend up but she refused because she's the one who will wake up my pervert friend. I was a bit shy at first. 

"Are you sure? Won't you get exhausted?" I said and she smiled.
"I've been in a much more exhausting situation. This is nothing." She said and went upstairs to call my  friend.

We need human beings like her.

A few minutes she went down, she  looked at me and pointed up the stairs. "Awake and kicking." She said. I chuckled, I guess my friend is 100% alive. I remembered when I tried to wake up my friend. My friend wouldn't even bother listen to me. But if it's her mom. Heh. Goodluck. To be honest. That Insignificant Peverted Bastard is stubborn. I was ashamed when she was struggling to take the stairs. She's pregnant and I'm letting her do all the work. 

Another few minutes I heard loud stomps and guess who's a mess?

Tita was grinning at my friend. I was hoping tita waked my friend up properly, but I was incorrect. Tita changed the time of the alarm clock. Pretty smart. Then something just pop up, I really hate my friend. But not like the more you hate, the more you love kind of thing. It's more of just hate, disappointment, and if you want I have a PDF of a list on Why I Hate My Friend. I was eavesdropping their conversation while reading manga. I know it's a talent.

"What?" He asked why her mom was grinning. "Ang aga mo ata, nako anak puro kananaman anime. Hindi kaba nag sasawa?" His face was priceless. "It's only 6 in the morning you should probably eat breakfast first." She added. "Well.. thank you for waking me up." I can see him sat down the chair and was looking for something. I guess he still doesn't notice me. "You're certainly welcome, but son I don't think if you need to set your alarm clock, I mean I'm the one waking you up everyday." I want to laugh. But I manage to stop it. I can see him struggling to reach the manga from the table. He was squinting his eyes and still can't reach it. Once he got the hold of the manga and flip a page he started squinting. Again..


"Mom I'm just going to get my glasses." He said and tita agreed, excusing himself from the table. He was one step away from the stairs when her mom called him.

"Yes?" He asked in a lazy tone.
"You haven't greeted Maia over their." He then looked at the direction her mom was pointing and saw me sitting on their sofa. "Sabay na daw kayong pumasok." Tita added. He just scratch his head.

"Sup, Mile." He greeted me. 
"Sup." I said lifelessly. He then went upstairs.

Okay this dude is taking forever. He said he's just getting his glasses. It's been an hour. I've already finished a manga, and watched 3 episodes, and I didn't even skipped the Anime opening.

Then finally. I heard loud stomps again. He's already fix. Unlike before.
He said we will be leaving the house at exactly 9 a.m, he said farewell to tita and tita kissed him on the cheek. 
"Ito anak baunin, niyo ni Maia." She said and handed to us the bentos and two yakults. I extended my left arm to reached the bento and yakult that was prepared by my mom. "Thank you po." I said to. Tuta then whispered something to me. "Oh, and my kwek-kwek jan, meron din kay Mriv kung gusto niya, pero kainin mo kung ayaw niya." I chuckled. "Opo tita, I'll do so." 

"Enough chit-chat, let's go." Kiefer said looking embarassed. I nodded and went straight to the car.


I have a girl friend who's an Otaku. It's nothing much really, but she's in another level of madness when it comes to it.

My Sentries and I flew into the sky and headed back home.

As soon as a got back, I sent out 400 of my Ultron Sentries to go out make four roads, 10 miles long to the North, West, South and East, with 100 going each direction. Once they got to the 10 mile marker, they will start clearing the area in a circle with a radius of 4 miles. After they finish the circle area, they will start building walled towns with the lumber they cut down. I had an image of the design from an anime I use to watch, One Piece. The towns and the fort will connect with one another like the design from the World Government flag. With the roads connecting them, my citizens will be able to travel faster.

Once the towns are complete, I plan on sending the 320 elves to the town in the west since it would be safer then the east were it is closer to human civilization. I also plan on make Elva the Mayor of the town, and have her start making a Defense Legion for the town, and have her make more clearings around the town so they can create some farms. 

I plan on using living people for Defense Legions for the Towns and Cities that I create and conquer instead of using my Ultron Sentries to protect them. I find it would be a waste of my resources and my Sentries to just station them there when I could have the people have a militia to protect themselves in case of an attack. 

It's also not a good idea for me to divided my Ultron Sentry army to just protect cities when I can just disband the armies of the places I conquer and reorganize the soldiers into a Defense Legion with their only purpose of defending the city they are stationed at and the villages near the city. The Defense Legion is a wonderful idea, I just have to make sure I can find soldiers who will be fateful to their new ruler.

After thinking about my military plans for the future, I went back into my castle with the 10 Sentries I took with me to test my experiments. I sat down on my throne with my Sentries lined up in front of me. After sitting down, I ordered 20 Sentries outside of the castle to make some items that I needed. I then set the timer in the system to wake me up in the morning and went into sleep mode while my Sentries went into autopilot mode.

-10 hours later- 

I slowly woke up and saw the 10 Ultron Sentries still standing in the same place that I left them. I then order them to get items and supplies from the warehouse where I am storing resources and the things we got from the slavers we captured, they left and came back in a few minutes with the necessary items that were created yesterday which I needed for the next stage of my plan. 

They brought back 10 hooded Akatsuki cloaks from the anime; Naruto, 10 Hollow Ichigo Masks from the anime; Bleach, bandages, 10 pairs of pants, 10 long sleeve shirts,10 pairs of leather gloves, and 10 pairs of leather boots.  I thought it would be cool  to use some clothing and props from some animes I watched in my past life. I had the Sentries put on the pants and long sleeve shirt, then boots and the gloves, and then the hooded Akatsuki cloaks. 

Once they put on the clothing, I had them wrapped their heads with the bandages, after they finishing wrapping their heads, they put on the Hollow Ichigo Masks and pulled their hoods for their heads.

I stand up and walked up to the Sentries and inspected them. After gazing at my Ultron Sentries in their cosplay outfits then a funny thought came to my mind which was that I have just brought cosplay into a  fantasy like Cultivation World. 

I chuckled a little at that thought but after I stopped chuckling at my achievement of bring cosplay to another world, I found that the Akatsuki Cloaks from Naruto with the Hollow Ichgio Masks from Bleach made the Sentries look like bad asses. 

Thanks to all of the clothing and the bandages covering them, you can't even see their metallic bodies which will help hide there true identities. They look like a bad ass Adventurer or Mercenary Group, that you don't want to mess with. After finishing gazing at my handy work, I sat back down on my throne and transferred my conspicuous to one of the Sentries. 

I am now in one of the Sentries in cosplay when I heard the system 'Ding'

'DING' '1,000  Ultron Sentries have been manufactured'

"That's good, my Sentries are now at 1,900 units." I said 

I then sent an order to the 400 new Sentries to go help with the road and town building while I sent the new 600 Sentries to the North, West and South to go hunting for experience. While the remaining 490 Sentries stay here and watch over the tortured slavers and elves.

After finishing sending out commands to all of my Sentries, I took the 9 Ultron Sentries outside with me. Waiting outside was a Sentries holding a bag of silver coins for me since I am now planning on heading out to find out more about this world, I need money for things.
 
I took the bag of silver coins and put them in a hidden pocket inside the cloak I am wearing. When I put the silver coins away, I looked down at the Akatsuki cloak I am wearing. The cosplay reminded me of the good old days when I cosplayed at anime conventions called Anime Oasis in my hometown of Boise, Idaho. I even went to the convention as an Akatsuki member one time but now isn't the time to reminisce about the old times, so I shook my head to stop thinking about my old memories. 

My Akatsuki Sentries and I flew into the sky and head East.

Currently on Hiatus for this series. With work and my Star Wars Series, I don't have a lot of time to think up new plots, so I decided to focus on just my Star Wars fan fic. I am sorry to my fans of this series. Once I am not so busy, I will try to start this series up again.

I just watched Avenger: Age of Ultron in the theater . After watching I wished I was Ultron with his abilities and intelligence but when I was making that wish I was dying

"Ye'zi, why don't you come with us if you're free? There are plenty of 2D girls in the convention. They're an absolute delight to look at!" Hao Jian said.
"Yeah, it's not that far away too. They've finally come to our university town. It'd be a shame not to go." Little Gen nodded in agreement.
Potato then said, "Ye'zi, you play Dota so well. You must've heard of Coold and Wu'er. These are the two greatest goddesses in the Dota world and I heard they'll be present this time."
There was a slight change in Ye Lingchen's expression. He remembered Song Qian telling him about letting the hosts participate in commercial activities, of which a comic convention was one such activity. At the same time, it could increase the popularity of both the host and the platform, as it was disadvantageous to do everything behind closed doors and disregard the outside world.
Game characters were naturally considered as two-dimensional, so there was no shortage of game exhibits in an anime convention.
In fact, he had never seen them in real life before, so there was no reason not to go and have a look at them and see their true colors.
The livestream industry had just emerged in recent years, though it gradually returned to normalcy after the initial hype. During that period, it was inevitable that countless laughingstocks would appear. The most controversial topic was none other than a female host's true appearance.

However, the grandmother still had no idea what happened. She scratched her head claiming that she was 'the world's most beautiful loli' who wants her big brothers to hug her and lift her up high.
Mr. Penetrative, the top rewarder in the livestream, was so scared that he even canceled his account, quit overnight, and bought a plane ticket.
In that way, the true appearance of many hosts had been pushed to the forefront. The public even brought up God Y and said that he did not dare to show up because of his ugly appearance, which might even be that of a grandfather.
Ye Lingchen scoffed at that kind of remark. 'Hehe, innocent mortals. I'm worried that I'll blind you with my handsomeness if I show up!'
Coold and Wu'er were recognized as the two great goddesses in the DOTA world and he had no idea how their true appearance compared to the live broadcast despite chatting with them from time to time.
When Ye Lingchen thought of that, he could not help but nod and reply with a smile, "Sounds good. Count me in!"
"YES!" Xiang pumped his fist excitedly. "You definitely won't regret it. I heard that Coold and Wu'er are really beautiful and even look more eye-catching than in a live broadcast."

The anime convention building looked similar to that of a gymnasium, but it was much more awesome when compared to the latter. Moreover, Ye Lingchen only realized the hype of the anime convention when he was near the anime convention building.
The plaza before the convention was crowded with all kinds of people, mostly women. Most of them wore clothes completely different from ordinary people and some even held weapons. One out of five people were cosplaying.
It had to be acknowledged that the dresses of two-dimensional characters were still very attractive, causing Potato's group to ogle and gawk. They could only wish that they could grow a few more eyes.
"Look, is that Mai Shiranui? Those clothes are just too revealing."
"Please swallow your saliva before talking. Don't spray it all over my face."
"Ah f*ck. Is that The White Maiden?[1] So divine." 
"Monster, Fahai is here. Isn't she going to show her true appearance soon?"
"Damn, that woman is so flirty. Is that a real snake in her hair or just jewelry?"
"Hey, fairy, come and eat my stick![2]" 
"That little girl is so dedicated. She even dyed her hair blue. Still, she's really cute."
"F*ck off you pervert lolicon!"

There was constant discussion in the plaza and everyone's restlessness could clearly be sensed. The atmosphere was extremely lively.
Ye Lingchen had never paid much attention to anime conventions, but the door to a new world had instantly been opened to him and he felt as though he really entered a two-dimensional realm.
All that happened outside of the anime convention. It would only be even livelier if they actually entered into the convention.
"Oh f*ck. There are plenty of people. How long will we have to line up?" The five boys were instantly dumbfounded when they arrived at the ticket booth.
The line was as long as a dragon and anyone would find it disheartening to line up if they glanced at it, as it would practically make their heads go numb.
Ye Lingchen stood there indifferently and looked on with interest at the various groups of people.
He noticed that aside from normal people, there were also lolitas with cat ears and cat tails, Zhu Bajie wearing a pig's head and holding a rake, as well as beautiful fairies that sported veils.
Such attire might attract the attention of many people on the street, but it was a very common sight there.
"What are we going to do? If we do line up, it'll already be dark even if we're able to buy tickets."
"This is crazy. There's so many people in the university town!"
"Look at me!"
Hao Jian smiled mysteriously and led the way as he walked toward a crowd that clearly had few people. There was a big VIP logo on that window.
"Please present your premium membership card." The ticket seller was a young lady with a soft voice.
"Hey there, beautiful. Us brothers live in a remote mountain village. It's been really difficult to walk through mountains and rivers just to come here and experience the sights..."
"No membership card?" the young lady interrupted Hao Jian immediately, then said with a friendly smile. "Please wait in the next line."
"Come one, just think about it. We can add to the money. We'll double it."
"It's useless for you to add in anything when you're facing an honest and ethical person like me! Please wait in the next line!" The young lady stood firm.
Hao Jian's face froze, then he gritted his teeth and took out an autographed Ye Lingchen card as if he had made a major decision. "If you give us the tickets, I... Will give this to you!"
The young lady's eyes lit up suddenly. She blurted out without thinking and asked, "How many tickets do you want?"

"F*ck, so awesome! Now I know what to do."
After Hao Jian got the tickets, Little Gen and the others stared at Hao Jian in shock. Even Ye Lingchen was surprised that his signature would be of such use.
The layout of the anime convention was no doubt designed according to the anime backgrounds. It only took a couple of steps from them to encounter a cosplayer posing in the classic pose of the anime characters, thereby allowing everyone to take pictures and gasp in awe.
In addition to the characters, many people set up stalls there, selling weapons and equipment from anime, posters, figures, and the likes. Some even sold their own selfies, wearing various anime clothes. They gave everyone the impression of being very coquettish, but were revealing certain body parts.
Of course, that was only the scene they saw after just entering the anime convention. The situation inside was even more chaotic...

(Lusyr Dice)

It was a fairly ordinary day for our young handsome weeb who was browsing through his phone on a clear sunny day. He was out of his little plane of oblivion after over a full 6 months. If it had not been for the ritualistic call of weebs called Anime Conventions, he might have never left the comfort of his throne. His girlfriend, who is also his roommate, is a famous streamer and Youtuber and has set up a booth at this convention to sell some merchandise and meet her fans. This was the main reason why he simply could not avoid it.

On his way to the venue, our protagonist decided to take a shortcut and go through the desolate back alley near the graveyard. That is where he encountered a rather troublesome enemy… that's right… street dogs! 

With a single howl, more than a dozen dogs gathered at the scene. Their target -> The strange man wearing Guts's Berserker Armour cosplay from Berserk. Our protagonist, Lusyr does not falter even when the odds are stacked against him as he draws his giant black metal coated blade. (A true anime fan will always only wear authentic cosplay. The sword isn't completely made of metal but it did have a bit of metal coated on it.)

"Come!" With a single shout, Lusyr challenged the pack. After all, running away wasn't an option after wearing the armor. It would be an insult to the legend who's armor he was wearing if he ran away from a bunch of dogs. The glistening metal-coated sword rammed against the dogs sending two flying. However… that was it. The rest of the dogs quickly swarmed him as they tried to dig through his metal-coated costume. Alas, their efforts proved futile as the young man once again emerged victorious. The metal-coated armor was too tough for the dogs and none could get their teeth in. Our protagonist once again showed his courage as he picked up a random dog and slammed it against the walls. The sheer display of power should have been more than enough to send the pack routing. However, the alpha was here...

The massive dog was more than two times as big as the others and it's glistening auburn eyes held a hint of madness. It charged at our protagonist at full speed while aiming for the head. However, at the last second, it jumped at the nearby wall and attacked the leg. Our protagonist was caught off guard by the sudden change of tactics as he immediately lost balance and fell to the floor. The rest of the pack swarmed at the now incapacitated prey ready to rip him to shreds. Following the leader's actions, they started biting into the gaps in the armor, shredding it to pieces. 

It was when all hope seemed lost that our protagonist remembered his idols and the legends that taught him to never give up! Clenching his sword, our protagonist pushed away all the dogs in a single burst of strength. With his back against the wall and his little cosplay armor mostly torn, Lusyr knew that a single bite would be enough to finish him. Several bite marks and deep wounds had already covered his lean ripped muscles. He had trained hard to pull off this cosplay. From hours of hard training to a disciplined diet... He had pushed through it all… He had even followed Saitama's training regiment for almost half a year. Yet now he stands at the death's door, fighting for his life against a pack of mindless dogs that have turned aggressive after years of eating from the trash cans.

Pushing the dark thoughts to the back of his mind, Lusyr focused his eyes on the enemy. He closed his eyes and steadied his breathing. 

("Remember… Remember their teachings… when all odds are stacked against you, and all hope seems lost. Look deep within yourself… you will find the strength needed to push forward. Just like they did… Yes… that's right… Remember who you are… Remember why you stand here… Remember why you fight… yes… that's right…")

"I… I… I… AM A WEEB!!!"

With a loud scream, Lusyr charged at the pack. His mind reaching a Zen-like focus and body hitting its maximum potential. With a single swing, our protagonist broke his sword against the pack of howling dogs. Instantly killing many. Clenching his fist, Lusyr charged at the dogs punching and kicking anything that moved. Lusyr himself wasn't even aware of what he was doing as his body had seemingly started moving on its own. It emulated the countless hours of fight scenes on its own, turning the once helpless lad into a killing machine. Even with countless wounds covering his body, the young weeb refused to give up. His bloodshot eyes now stared down the Alpha who seemed surprised at the sudden change in aura of his prey. 

*Gurr*

The two circled each other before suddenly charging in a burst of godlike speed leaving a puff of dust with each step. Fangs blaring, the alpha jumped at the boy's head who coiled his arm for a devastating uppercut.

Lusyr had done it… the punch connected with the dog's soft underbelly. However, the dog had done it as well… with the enemy's neck in his jaw, he had won!

("No… I can't lose… I have yet to see so many anime... So many mangas still left unread… I-") 

"I… I… I CAN'T AFFORD TO LOSE HERE!!!"

Pushing his fist further in, the boy lifted the giant dog up in the air. He then held it in his arms before bringing it all down in an ultimate finish. Falling on the ground, now out of strength, Lusyr started laughing. 

"Ha… ha... Hahaha… I- think I get it now... Kenpachi Zaraki… Hisoka… Goku… all those other guys as well… I think- beugh-" He coughed a bit of blood but continued smiling. "I think… I finally understand why you love fighting so much…"

Just as our handsome protagonist was enjoying the afterglow of his fight, his vision turned dark. The last thing he remembers is the sound of a Trucks engine and the smell of burning tires.
