This is my first novel and English isn’t my strong language i will try my best to create comic that everyone enjoys.

Emma is a very smart, yet shy little girl. Although she has the freedom most kids dream of, she chooses to mostly stay inside. After her household chores, she enjoys watching all types of shows and movies, but most of all, anime. The characters and storylines are different than regular cartoons. Growing older she continued to grow her love for anime and even began learning Japanese as well as Spanish and French. The other two languages were just because they caught her attention and she had plenty of time to learn them.
Seeing how responsible and mature their daughter is, despite being just a young child they began to give her an allowance twice a month, showing her how to manage a budget. On Emma's  10th birthday, they decided to give her a laptop. Emma was super excited! She now not only didn't have to go to the library so often to check out linguistic books, but she could also look into Cosplaying. Her friends have told her about people of all ages dressing up as their favorite anime or cartoon character and going to different events such as comic cons. Now she had the opportunity to check them out herself while in the comfort of her own home.
Constantly online, downloading, uploading, watching, learning, Emma soaked in every bit of information she could regarding cosplaying and comic con events. She even found out about comic cons that are open to the public in her own town. When she came across her town name in the list of places that hold comic cons, she was in a daze. Thinking back on it her friends did try to bring her to one a while ago, but of course, she refused just like every other time to hang out. Honestly, it is amazing how Nancy and Brittany were able to befriend her and keep their friendship going.
Thinking of her only friends and how they have talked about going to these cosplaying events, as well as seeing videos where people dress as the opposite sex, was slowly stirring something inside of her. Soon after those thoughts, she began spending countless hours searching the best places to purchase cosplaying items, how to do make-up, and even…..even came across a few videos in regards to how to use a chest bind. Her friends were surprised but super excited that their introverted friend finally agreed to hang out with them outside of school. Nancy and Brittany would often be at Emma's house, mostly on weekends, searching and planning what to wear to the comic con events and which events to go to.
Despite her parents constantly working away from home, they still took time out to call her frequently and visit every few months. As Emma grew older her parents still called frequently, but visited less, at least once a year, allowing her more free time for cosplay. Being used to taking care of the house and herself at a young age, she had plenty of time for her studies as well as her hobbies.

By the time Emma and her friends began high school, they had been to multiple comic con events. Due to budgeting her allowance money and practicing with her friends, Emma was not only able to purchase high-end costumes and wigs but was able to learn how to act. When she put on her characters' costumes, she would become that character, leaving the shy introvert she is in the shadows of her characters. Even being fluent in different languages helped her since she was able to change her voice or accent when she spoke to match her character. Brittnay and Nancy were amazed though at how different Emma became when she put on her outfits. Each and every character she played came to life.
She had gotten down the tricks of the trade and became the belle of the ball or should I say prince in shining armor as she mostly took on male characters and nailed her character each time. She didn't mind dressing as a female character, but most times female characters' costumes would come with so much extra that needed to be done or nothing at all since the costume would be showing off the whole body, minus the private areas, barely. Plus not only being easier to manage, but dressing as a male would lessen the chance of someone recognizing her, so she thought.

Yes, I am going to write this sort of like a diary because I guess this can count as one except for the fact that anyone can just click on and read it. Sounds weird when you first think about it but hey I've got nothing to lose anyway. I guess this morning my mind has been working on creating a series of imaginary families. Not for myself but my favorite anime and comic characters. I am a huge anime fan and comic reader and as unusual as it might sound I find that whenever I listen to music I imagine different scenarios for the most recent thing I've read or watch. This morning I woke up and my mind was just flooding with ideas for the comic "unordinary" on the app Webtoon (If you don't know what that is you need to go and check it out-it's the best, My profile icon is one of the main characters named Seraphina and you just really need to go read it). So I find myself imagining that the other main character named John, don't worry I won't spoil anything for the comic, anyway I would imagine him having a twin sister named Jessica that he calls Jessy for short and that she would be sort of like his other half that helps keep him in check and is the one person that whenever he's blocking everyone else out she's the only one who can get through to him. So today I was listening to the song "Nothing's stopping me now" by Vicetone ft. Kat Nestel and as the song played I imagined the two of them having a series of adventures where they would skip school, tell off bullies, and just build up their sibling bond from childhood till their teens as they wouldn't let anything tare them apart. I don't know where this idea of him having a sister came from but I like to imagine it whenever a good song plays and I sometimes even add a brother that I have not come up with a name for I know like what. But yeah I would sometimes imagine John with a twin or a boy in a group of triplets. In the actual comic John is an only child and the more I read I liked to imagine how things would have unfolded if he had a sibling to talk to. I don't want to go on about the stories plot cause I have no right to do that and I love the story myself so I would like if interested for others to find and read it themselves even if your not a huge story person the drawings are to die for especially as they improve from update to update. I would also imagine the three of them in music videos (I don't know why) it's just that I like imagining them in different styles as I would have them singing and dancing around in accordance to the song I'm listening too. I just really enjoy doing that I guess and yeah Imma end it here now since my mind is at a blank right now so yeah bye-bye.

Doesn't sound so perfect now does it, but no one would believe her if she were to tell them. Jessica was probably close to falling off the edge into a cold world when a chance encounter will lead her down a path of self-discovery. "My deepest apologies, are you alright?"

Looking around, Sheng Yize saw mostly junior and senior high school students, the majority of whom were girls. Standing tall in his neat suit, Sheng Yize looked very out of place.
Searching the hall, Sheng Yize finally felt that he wasn't alone when he spotted another tall figure.
And it was someone he knew.
It was An Yibei.
An Xiaxia saw him as well and was utterly baffled.
Holy crap! Since when was her big brother into anime stuff?
What she found even more frightening was that a girl next to An Yibei had put an adorable bear hairpin in his hair, but all he did was frown a little, and showed no intention to remove it.
What?! That was something!
An Xiaxia's eyes lit up. "Wait! Is that my future sister-in-law? Shall I go say hi?"
Su Xiaomo took a quick glance and commented, "Nice boobs, long legs, tiny waist, and good-looking. Your brother is a very lucky man!"
Sheng Yize stopped An Xiaxia, who was going to rush over, and said in a low voice, "Restrain yourself. You'll scare her away!"
He had a point. That was such a hard-earned sister-in-law!
"Let's follow them around in secret!"
Sheng Yize was speechless. Are you sure?
The president of Shengshi not only had to accompany his wife to a comic convention, but was now stalking her brother with her… This was so not what he had in mind for this morning.

Ai Bao blushed in excitement and stole a glance at the tall figure next to her.
She had talked to a friend over the phone yesterday, speaking excitedly about Comicon and the fact that she had an extra ticket.
However, her friend later told Ai Bao that something had come up and she couldn't go. Ai Bao was greatly disappointed.
The door to An Yibei's office opened at that moment. He came out and raised an eyebrow. "Are you free tomorrow?"
"Huh?" Ai Bao looked at him with a blank face.
"Come to the office, then." An Yibei adjusted his glasses. "Make some contributions to our firm."
Ai Bao said with a long face, "But you don't have a case at the moment…"
An Yibei gave it some thought. "You can come and play 'Link Them All.'"
Ai Bao was speechless. Why would she come to the office to play some dumb computer game when she could have a lie-in or go out to have some fun?
"Heh… why waste electricity…" Ai Bao forced a smile, then pleaded, "Mr. An, I'm going to a comic convention tomorrow…"
She had no idea how lovely her soft voice was.
An Yibei narrowed his eyes behind his glasses.
"What's a comic convention?"
"It's where a lot of people dress up as their favorite anime characters and you can buy comics and comic-related collectibles there…" Ai Bao's voice happily grew animated at the mention of her hobby.
An Yibei nodded. "Take me with you."
Ai Bao was surprised. "What?"
"It's a deal." An Yibei turned around and went back to his office.
It took Ai Bao a very, very long time to digest what had just happened. Mr. An was going to Comicon with her!

"Ai Bao." An Yibei pointed at a teenager in the distance and frowned. "Why is that guy wearing eyeliner?"
"Well… because it's cosplay. The character he's dressed up as wears eyeliner, and that's sort of his thing!"
"I see…" An Yibei looked lost. At his age, he only found the kids here rather… silly.
There was a commotion, and everyone hurried toward the stage. Ai Bao took a look and cried out in surprise. "The event is starting now! That famous voice actor, Ink Painting on Porcelain, is here!"
An Yibei glanced in that direction and frowned. "Why is Wu Hanxiao here?"


As an anti-fan of the idol group, Starry Night, An Xiaxia is happy to spend her time online slandering lead singer Sheng Yize. 

But things take an unexpected turn when An Xiaxia starts high school - the Starry Night trio somehow becomes her classmates, and even end up moving into her house. 

Also, the nation’s idol Sheng Yize seems particularly interested in An Xiaxia for some reason...

Sheng Yize: Xiaxia, if I and a chicken wing fall into the water together, which one will you save?

An Xiaxia: Hm… I can't swim, so obviously you're going to save yourself and get my chicken wing out!

Sheng Yize: I thought I was the nation’s idol???

"Oy, Chris, berhenti main-main dengan pacarmu itu, apa kau sudah memesan makanan?" Guan Fei bertanya sambil mengambil tempat duduk di sebelah kiri Chris. "Dia bukan pacarku, Ah Guan, dan juga, apa kau buta? Jelas-jelas aku sudah memesan makanan untukmu dan Ah Luo," cibir Chris sebelum mengembalikan tanghulu milik Yaoyao. "Kau tidak asik, Chris, lagipula, Yao Ling Ling kan pendek. Pasti kalian akan terlihat cocok," Huang Luo ikut memanas-manasi Chris.

"Hei, babi bodoh! Aku tidak sudi berpacaran dengan lelaki brengsek macam temanmu itu! Jadi, jangan sembarangan kalau bicara ya," geram Yaoyao sambil menyumpit kwetiau yang ia pesan. "Yaoyao, kurasa kamu terlalu kasar," ucap Vivi sebelum menyeruput sup kacang merah miliknya. "Kasar bagaimana? Bukannya aku biasanya begini? Kenapa kau jadi aneh di depan mereka sih, Vivi? Biasanya kau tidak berkomentar apapun meski aku mengatakan hal yang lebih kasar daripada itu," Yaoyao bertanya bertubi-tubi, membuat Vivi merasa rikuh untuk menjawabnya.

"Hei pendek, apa yang dikatakan Silvi itu memang benar. Kau itu terlalu kasar, jadi kau jangan memberondongkan pertanyaanmu pada Silvi," cibir Chris sambil mengambil sumpit yang terletak di depan Yaoyao. "Kau ini bagaimana sih, Chris? Tadi kau merayu Yao Ling Ling, tapi sekarang kau malah membela Silvia," ucap Guan Fei heran. Chris hanya terdiam sambil memakan mie pedas miliknya dan melirik kearah Vivi.

Guan Fei melirik kearah temannya yang hanya diam tanpa menjawab pertanyaannya itu. Dilihatnya bahwa Chris makan sambil memperhatikan Vivi yang hampir selesai makan, membuat Guan Fei menaikkan sebelah alisnya. "Hoi, Chris, kudengar akan ada festival Comic-Con di kampus Starlight University, kau mau datang?" tanya Huang Luo sambil melihat ponselnya.

"Kapan? Berapa harga tiketnya?" Chris balik bertanya sebelum memakan lebih banyak mie. "Hari Jumat pekan ini, harga tiketnya 300 Yuan per orang," jawab Huang Luo sebelum menghabiskan roujianmo di tangannya. "Akan kupikirkan nanti, aku mau ke toilet dulu. Ah Guan, Ah Luo, kalau kalian sudah selesai duluan saja ke kelas, nanti aku menyusul," ucap Chris yang tampaknya sudah selesai makan, padahal di nampannya masih tersisa 3 tusuk tanghulu stroberi miliknya.

"Gabriel, itu tanghulu punyamu belum dimakan," ucap Vivi mengingatkan Chris akan makanannya yang belum dimakan. "Buatmu aja, Sil, gue duluan ya," ujar Chris dalam bahasa Indonesia sambil memindahkan tanghulu miliknya ke nampan Vivi. "Gabe? Loh kok?" Vivi tergagap saat Chris memindahkan tanghulu milik pemuda itu ke nampannya, lalu pergi sambil mengembalikan nampan yang dia bawa ke tempat yang disediakan.

"Sepertinya dia cukup baik padamu, Vivi," ujar Yaoyao sambil mengigit tanghulu miliknya, lalu melirik kearah Vivi yang hanya terdiam dengan wajah memerah. Yaoyao menaikkan sebelah alisnya saat melihat Vivi menyibakkan rambutnya, lalu memandangi tanghulu di tangannya dengan senyum cerah.

Di sisi lain, Guan Fei dan Huang Luo menatap heran kearah Chris yang berkata kalau dia akan berpikir dua kali untuk datang ke Comic-Con. Padahal biasanya, Chris lah yang paling bersemangat untuk datang ke Comic-Con karena dia sudah menjadi maniak anime sejati. Belum lagi saat Guan Fei, Huang Luo, Dan Yaoyao melihat Chris memberikan manisan pada Vivi, meski itu adalah hal biasa bagi Guan Fei dan Huang Luo, tetap saja terasa janggal Yaoyao karena ia melihat betapa cuek Chris di depan orang-orang.

"Sepertinya aku mau menyusulnya sebentar, Yaoyao. Kamu duluan saja ke kelas ya? Kirimi aku pesan kalau Guru Devon meminta kita ke lab nanti," ucap Vivi sambil menghabiskan tanghulu pemberian Chris tadi. "Vivi! Tunggu....." "Tidak usah kau cegah, toh sebenarnya Vivi itu naksir pada Chris, jadi wajar kalau dia mau menemui pujaan hatinya saat jam istirahat makan siang begini," Guan Fei berkata memotong ucapan Yaoyao, membuat Yaoyao hanya bisa bengong setelah mencerna kata-kata dari Guan Fei.

"Gabe, sebenarnya kenapa kamu minta aku untuk menyusulmu kesini?" tanya Vivi sambil mendudukkan pantatnya di bangku atap gedung utama Sunshine International Academy. "Pake bahasa Indonesia aja kenapa, Sil. Toh disini juga banyak orang China, males aja gue make bahasa Mandarin disini," ucap Chris yang menyandarkan tubuhnya pada pagar pembatas sambil meminum sekaleng cola. Vivi sedikit menggembungkan pipinya saat mendengar ucapan pemuda itu.

"Ya udah, emang kenapa Lo minta gue kesini? Gue kira itu penting, jadi gue langsung ngacir kemari ninggalin si Yaoyao di kantin sama temen-temen Lo yang belagu itu," Vivi kembali bertanya, kali ini dengan ekspresi cemberut di wajahnya. "Lo tadi denger kan Huang Luo bilang kalo besok Jumat bakal ada Comic-Con? Lo mau ikut nggak sama gue kesana?" Chris balik bertanya pada Vivi sambil menaikkan kaleng cola ke mulutnya.

"Hah? Mau ngapain Lo kesana, Gabe? Jangan bilang kalo Lo mau foto bareng mbak-mbak cosplayer disana," tuduh Vivi kesal. "Bukan itu tujuan gue kesana. Aslinya sih, gue mau beli video game Fishcake Shinobi Thunder 4 yang lagi booming itu," jawab Chris sambil mencubit dagunya. "Hah? Buat apa? Bukannya Lo bisa beli di Game Center deket restoran Peyoung itu?" Vivi kembali bertanya dengan nada sedikit meninggi.

"Kecilin suara Lo dikit ngapa, Sil? Lagian, kalo gue belinya di Comic-Con, gue bisa dapetin itu setengah harga, belum lagi tanda tangan dari mbak-mbak cosplayer disana," jelas Chris kelewat santai. Sebuah kedutan kembali timbul di dahi Vivi, dan dengan tidak berperasaan, Vivi melangkah kedepan hanya untuk menginjak kaki Chris.

"Aduh! Sakit tau Sil! Gini-gini amat Lo ke gue...." ucap Chris sambil mengelus-elus kakinya yang diinjak oleh Vivi. "Bodo amat! Nī zhège báichī Gabriel! (Dasar Gabriel bodoh!)" rajuk Vivi sebelum meninggalkan Chris dengan langkah kaki yang dihentak-hentakkan. Chris hanya bisa menatap Vivi dengan tatapan bingung sambil mengacak-acak rambutnya, lalu berkata, "Perempuan memang susah dimengerti."

"Wah, Chris! Tidak kusangka kalau ternyata kau mau membayar tiket masuk untuk kami," puji Huang Luo saat mereka berada di gate khusus untuk memasuki Comic-Con di kampus Starlight University. "Biasa saja, Ah Luo, lagipula ayahku memberiku sedikit tambahan uang saku Minggu ini, jadi aku bisa santai sedikit," ucap Chris sambil menutupi telinganya dengan sebuah headset berwarna biru dengan gambar seorang tokoh anime berambut perak.

"Sudahlah, kapan kita mau masuk nih? Nanti stan video game keburu ramai," protes Guan Fei sambil memakan permen. "Sabar sedikit, Ah Guan, toh bukan cuma kau yang ingin ke stan video game," sergah Chris sambil mengaduk-aduk isi tasnya hanya untuk mengambil sebuah masker hitam dengan tulisan [Oppai Daisuki] di bagian tengahnya. Huang Luo juga ikut memakai maskernya yang bergambar seorang tokoh anime yang mengenakan bikini, sedangkan Guan Fei mengenakan masker bergambar piala di bagian tengah.

"'Saatnya beraksi!'" ujar ketiga pemuda itu bersamaan sambil mulai melangkah memasuki gate. Ketiganya langsung saja menuju ke sebuah stan game untuk membeli game incaran mereka, lalu berkeliling setelah mendapatkan kaset video game masing-masing. Setelah agak lama, ketiganya lalu memutuskan untuk berpencar, karena Guan Fei ingin kembali ke stan video game untuk menjajal permainan yang mereka sediakan untuk versi demo, sedangkan Huang Luo ingin melihat cosplay competition yang memang menjadi acara utama di Comic-Con itu.

Chris yang sendirian tak tahu harus berbuat apa, jadi dia lebih memilih untuk duduk di depan sebuah stan makanan sambil menyantap beberapa dimsum goreng. Pemuda itu lalu membuka ponselnya untuk melihat-lihat notifikasi dan bermain dengan beberapa sosmed yang ia miliki, sebelum akhirnya merasa bosan dan memutuskan untuk menonton anime yang baru saja ia unduh kemarin. Setelah menghabiskan 2 episode anime, Chris merasa sangat bosan, lalu memutuskan untuk membeli sebuah es krim batangan untuk menemaninya dalam perjalanan pulang.

"Duh... Lapar nih.... Tahu begini tadi aku beli mapo tofu dan sup ikan pedas itu saja," sesal Chris sambil menggigit es krim miliknya dan melihat kantung plastik di tangan kirinya. "Hemm... Lumayanlah, untung Papa memberiku sedikit tambahan uang jajan berkat prestasiku, tapi, bagaimana kalau Mama tahu? Duh, jangan sampai dilihat oleh Merry deh, nanti dia mengadu ke Mama soal aku membeli kaset video game baru," gumam Chris risau sambil memasukkan kantung plastik itu ke tasnya.

Terlalu sibuk dengan pikirannya membuat Chris tak sadar kalau ternyata ada seorang perempuan yang menutupi wajahnya dengan masker dan topi lebar tengah berlari kearah pemuda itu. Perempuan itu tampak panik karena ia berlari sambil sesekali menengok kebelakang, hingga akhirnya ia bertubrukan dengan Chris. Keduanya pun terjatuh dengan posisi Chris yang ditimpa oleh tubuh perempuan itu, membuat pemuda itu terpaksa harus merelakan es krimnya jatuh ke tanah.

"Aiyoo... Bisakah kamu sedikit berhati-hati? Rasanya sakit kalau harus ditabrak sampai jatuh begini," ucap Chris sambil mencoba mendudukkan pantatnya di trotoar yang agak sepi itu. Perempuan itu terdiam sejenak saat melihat wajah Chris, sebelum akhirnya tersadar dan berkata, "Maaf, tuan, tapi saya sedang terburu-buru. Saya dikejar oleh beberapa orang, karena itu saya berlari dan tidak sengaja menabrak tuan."

Chris sedikit mengernyitkan dahinya sambil mencoba untuk berdiri. Tatapannya tak lepas dari perempuan yang menabraknya tadi. Saat perempuan itu mencoba untuk berlari lagi, Chris langsung memegangi tangan perempuan itu dan menariknya pergi. "Hei! Lepaskan aku! Bagaimana kalau aku ditemukan oleh orang-orang yang mengejarku tadi?!" protes perempuan itu sambil memukul-mukul punggung Chris. Chris dengan santai menoleh kearah perempuan itu, lalu berkata, "Diamlah, kamu sudah menjatuhkan es krimku ke tanah, tahu!"

'Duh... Kolot banget sih... Padahal mukanya ganteng gitu, kayak pangeran-pangeran Eropa,' batin perempuan itu rikuh. "Bisa kuganti makananmu itu? Kalau kamu melepaskanku sekarang, aku berjanji akan mengganti makananmu itu nanti," ujar si perempuan pada Chris. "Tidak usah, kamu cukup ikut saja denganku, temani aku makan, karena aku sudah kelaparan," tolak Chris dengan nada santai, meski dalam hatinya ia sudah mengeluh kelaparan.

Chris lalu menarik tangan perempuan itu dengan pelan menuju sebuah jalan yang lumayan sepi. "He...hei, lepaskan aku, idiot! Bagaimana kalau mereka menemukanku disini?! Memangnya kamu mau bertanggung jawab kalau mereka sampai menangkap ku, hah?!" bentak perempuan itu keras, meski Chris sama sekali tidak menggubrisnya. Perempuan itu terus menerus membentak Chris, untungnya Chris dengan tepat waktu langsung memasang headset miliknya ke telinga.

Tak lama kemudian, keduanya sampai di sebuah restoran tradisional China dengan tulisan besar [姜伟的麻辣鸭] (Baca: Jiang Wei de Mala Ya / Bebek Pedas Jiang Wei) di atas pintu masuknya. Chris menarik tangan perempuan itu memasuki restoran, lalu berkata dengan keras, "Wanshang hao, Jiajia-nushi. (Selamat sore, Kak Jiajia.)"

Seorang perempuan berusia sekitar 22 tahun langsung menoleh sesaat setelah mendengar ucapan Chris. Perempuan yang dipanggil Jiajia oleh Chris itu langsung saja tersenyum saat melihat siapa yang datang, lalu berjalan mendekat untuk menyambut pemuda itu. "Huanying nin lai, Yi Fan, nin cike hen shao lai zheli, (Selamat datang, Yi Fan, tumben kamu kemari di jam ini,)" ucap Jiajia yang belum menyadari bahwa Chris menggandeng seorang perempuan.

"Maaf merepotkan, Kak Jiajia, soalnya aku baru saja pulang setelah kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di sekolah," ujar Chris dengan disertai cengiran malu. "Tidak, tidak masalah kok, Yi Fan. Ngomong-ngomong, siapa yang kamu gandeng itu?" tanya Jiajia sambil melirik kearah perempuan yang digandeng oleh Chris. Chris lalu menoleh kearah perempuan itu dan menyikut lengannya sebagai kode untuk memperkenalkan diri.

"Sa...saya Riri, teman dari Yi Fan, kak, salam kenal," ujar perempuan yang mengaku bernama Riri itu. "Ooh, temannya Yi Fan ya? Kalau begitu, mau pesan apa?" tanya Jiajia ramah. "Kakak, aku pesan yang biasa, satu untuknya, dan satu untukku. Gandakan porsi untukku ya kak?" ucap Chris ceria, mengundang tatapan penuh tanda tanya dari Riri. "Oh, tentu saja, silahkan pilih tempat duduk kalian ya?" Jiajia berkata dengan ramah, lalu lekas pergi ke dapur.

Chris langsung saja menyeret Riri ke sebuah meja di pojok restoran itu, lalu mendudukkan tubuhnya di kursi yang ada. Pemuda itu menatap intens kearah Riri yang balik menatapnya tegang, lalu menghela nafas panjang. "Kamu tidak perlu takut, disini kamu aman. Kalau mereka berani mengejarku kesini, Kak Jiajia pasti akan menghajar mereka," ucap Chris sambil melepaskan jaket dan tasnya, tak lupa, ia meletakkan kemeja seragam miliknya diatas tasnya.

"Benarkah apa yang kamu bilang itu?" Riri kembali bertanya dengan ragu, meski ia bisa melihat tatapan serius dari mata Chris. Chris hanya mengangguk saja, lalu mengambil ponselnya dari saku dan menekan sebuah nomor. "Ni hao, Mama, I'm going to be late cuz I'm having extra training for next basketball competition, don't worry, I'll make sure to eat something healthy here,"  ucap Chris sambil menekan tombol loudspeaker.

"[Hello, Gabe. Well, if that's the case then Mama will allow you to come home late. Don't eat too many spicy noodles in the cafeteria, okay?]" ucap sebuah suara feminim dari seberang, membuat Chris mengacungkan tinjunya di depan dada dengan bahagia. "Okay Mama, I'll be home as soon as possible after the training is over," ucap pemuda itu berbohong. "[Okay hun, be careful, I love you,]" balas suara feminim yang menurut Riri adalah ibu dari pemuda di depannya ini. "Love you too, Mommy," ujar Chris mengakhiri panggilan teleponnya dengan ibunya.

"Kamu baru saja membohongi ibumu kan?" tuduh Riri sambil menatap ragu kearah Chris. "Terpaksa, soalnya, aku merasa kalau kamu harus bertanggung jawab soal makananku yang kamu jatuhkan tadi," ucap Chris mengiyakan tuduhan Riri. "Kurasa aku tidak punya pilihan lain," ucap Riri seraya mengambil dompetnya dari dalam tas. Perempuan itu lalu membuka topi dan maskernya, menampakkan sesosok gadis manis dengan wajah khas seorang blasteran Indonesia-Tionghoa. Chris langsung ternganga saat melihat betapa cantiknya wajah Riri.

"Kenapa kamu menatapku seperti itu? Ada yang salah dengan wajahku?" tanya Riri dengan ketus. Chris hanya bisa menggelengkan kepalanya, dan saat ia baru akan membuka mulut, Jiajia mendatangi mereka dengan membawa dua mangkuk sup. "Yi Fan, ini pesananmu tadi, dua mangkuk sup kerak nasi dengan ekstra bebek panggang. Ngomong-ngomong, aku membuatkan porsi besar untukmu, jadi habiskan ya?" ucap Jiajia sambil menurunkan kedua mangkuk berbeda ukuran itu ke meja makan.

"Kalau begitu, biar aku yang membayarnya," ucap Riri sambil mengambil kartu kreditnya dari dompet dan mengulurkannya pada Jiajia. "Tunggu, Kakak, biar aku saja yang bayar. Toh aku yang membawanya kesini," tolak Chris sambil mengambil dompet miliknya di saku belakang. "Hei! Jangan menolaknya, lagipula aku yang membuat makananmu jatuh tadi kan?" Riri berkata sambil mengulurkan kartu kreditnya pada Jiajia, tapi ditolak oleh perempuan itu dengan sopan.

"Maaf, Riri-'a, kalau Yi Fan berkata dia yang membayar, lebih baik turuti dia," tegur Jiajia sopan pada Riri. Riri pun menaikkan sebelah alisnya pertanda bingung, lalu menatap kearah Chris yang masih sibuk meraih dompetnya.

Akan tetapi, kebingungan Riri akhirnya terjawab setelah Chris mengeluarkan sebuah kartu berwarna emas dari dompetnya. Chris lalu menyerahkan kartu kredit itu pada Jiajia, yang diterima dengan senang hati oleh perempuan itu. Sementara Riri terperangah seraya menatap takjub kearah Chris yang dengan santainya mengambil sendok dan mulai memakan sup miliknya yang berukuran tiga kali lipat dari porsi yang dia pesan untuk Riri.

'Gila! Sekaya apa sih anak ini sebenarnya? Pantas dia menolak waktu aku mau mentraktirnya, dia punya kartu kredit tantpa batas yang legendaris itu...' batin Riri sambil menatap Chris yang makan seperti orang kelaparan. "Jangan diam saja, cepat dimakan sebelum dingin," tegur Chris saat melihat Riri terdiam menatapnya. Riri hanya mengangguk pelan, lalu ikut memakan sup miliknya.

Selesai makan, Riri menatap bingung kearah Chris yang dengan santainya meminum segelas air. Pemuda itu lalu menatap lekat kearah Riri, sebelum akhirnya mengatakan sesuatu yang membuat Riri tercengang.

"Lo orang Indonesia kan? Gue bisa liat dari muka Lo kalo lo itu keturunan Indonesia," ucap Chris seraya mengisi kembali air dalam gelasnya. "Kok Lo bisa bahasa Indonesia sih? Jangan-jangan lu juga?!" Riri bertanya dengan terkejut. "Iya, gue juga orang Indonesia," jawab Chris dengan nada ogah-ogahan. Riri menatap Chris dengan wajah tidak percaya, lalu menatap kearah pernak-pernik milik Chris.

"Lo suka anime juga?" Riri kembali bertanya, kali ini dengan nada yang lebih ceria dari sebelumnya. "Iya, emang Lo juga suka?" Chris balik bertanya, kali ini ekspresinya heran sekaligus tertarik. Keduanya pun berbincang-bincang mengenai anime yang mereka sukai. Tak lupa, mereka saling menunjukkan merchandise anime yang mereka miliki, termasuk foto-foto merchandise yang ada di rumah mereka. Dari sinilah, Chris bisa mengetahui nama asli Riri, yakni Larissa Mayangsari.

"Btw, gue kaget loh waktu Lo ngomong pake bahasa Indonesia, Lo asli Indonesia kan?" Larissa kembali bertanya dengan antusias. "Ya iyalah, emang nggak kelihatan ya kalo gue ini orang Indonesia?" canda Chris sambil memutar-mutar ponselnya di meja. "Nggak sih, muka Lo itu terlalu cakep soalnya. Kayak orang-orang bule gitu," balas Larissa setengah bercanda. "Oh, itu, soalnya gue keturunan Inggris, Mama gue itu orang Inggris, Risa," ucap Chris sambil menunjukkan foto keluarganya lewat ponsel.

"Wih! Serius Lo? Mantap abis!" Larissa berkata dengan riang, dirinya sungguh kagum dengan keluarga dari anak di depannya ini. Chris hanya tertawa garing, lalu membuka ponselnya untuk browsing. Melihat bahwa Chris sudah kehabisan topik, Larissa memutuskan untuk mengatakan sesuatu pada Chris. "Eh, Yi Fan, sebenernya gue ini..... Cosplayer Arisa Stanford lho....." ucap Larissa sedikit lirih.

Chris berhenti menatap ke ponselnya, lalu menatap kearah Larissa dengan tatapan terkejut. "Seriusan?" hanya itulah kata yang bisa keluar dari mulut Chris, meski sedetik kemudian ia bisa mengendalikan ekspresinya seperti semula. Larissa sedikit tertawa, lalu mengambil ponselnya dan membuka aplikasi Instagram miliknya. Gadis itu lalu medorong ponselnya kearah Chris, membuat pemuda itu bisa melihat apa yang tertera di layar ponsel itu dengan jelas.

"Wah, beneran ternyata... Nggak nyangka kalo gue bakal ketemu sama cosplayer disini," ucap Chris berkelakar. "Btw, boleh gue tau nama Lo? Sekalian kita tuker kontak gitu," tanya Larissa seraya menatap kearah Chris.

"Boleh, sini hp Lo, mana ada sih cowok yang bisa nolak kalo ternyata ada cewek cantik yang minta nomor hpnya," ujar Chris mengiyakan permintaan Larissa sambil berkelakar. Larissa hanya tertawa kecil sambil memberikan ponselnya kearah Chris, dan Chris pun langsung saja memasukkan nomor ponselnya ke daftar kontak milik Larissa. "Nama gue, Gabriel Adimas Kristiawan, panggil aja Gabriel atau Chris. Salam kenal ya, Larissa Mayangsari," ujar Chris sambil mengembalikan ponsel Larissa.

"Since I was a little boy, I have always wanted to have a villa filled with all sorts of painting. I wanted to fill the walls with landscapes before but now, I would love them to be paintings of something else." He said casually. 
"What?" She tilted her head to ask.

She blinked when she heard his response. He didn't seem to have realized the impact of that word he had just uttered and went on to explain the best spots where he would very much love to hang her smiling face and the various occasions he would select as backdrops. 
"I once drew an anime version of you out of frustration in the past." She laughed. 
"You did?" He was surprised. Although she said that she had done it out of frustration, the fact that she had thought about him so much that it inspired her to draw was the greatest honor he had ever received. 
She nodded. "I don't remember where it is. I must have torn it later. But I can redraw it." 
"I'd love to see it." He nodded in anticipation. 
"Help me get my drawing tablet." She sat up and pointed at the long study table at the side. He rolled off the bed and took the tablet, then brought it to her and waited nervously. 
He watched as she drew every stroke purely based on her memory. It was almost as though she had drawn him so many times that she no longer needed any reference. She was done in just a few minutes, then she grinned as she quickly filled in the colors. 
"There, done." She showed it to him when she was done. 
He glanced at the anime on the screen and was caught in between laughter and tears. Not only had she drawn an anime of him, it was also a chibi version. Who would have thought that he could look so cute? 
"How adorable! I suddenly want to make you a character in my comics." 
He smiled as he poked the adorable thing on her screen. "What kind of character?" 
"The male lead." She blurted without much thought.
He smiled as he inched closer to her. "A romance comic? I wouldn't mind being the male lead as long as you are the female lead." 
Before she could react, he added, "However, I have already started drawing a comic with you as the female lead. You wouldn't mind, right?" 
"Really? Let me have a look." She anxiously asked. "Oh...you didn't bring your drawing tablet with you, right?" 
"I can use my regular tablet." As he spoke, he reached for the nightstand and retrieved his tablet, which had been folded to the size of a phone. Unfolding it, he launched an application and swiped through it, then a drawing of Cheng Yu showed up. 
It was the cover picture, and she was wearing an elegant wine-colored gown that was off the shoulders. Holding a scepter in her hand, she looked like a fantasy queen in her garden. 
"I used your image without permission. Do you mind?" He asked cautiously. 
"It's so beautiful. Can I use it as my wallpaper?" 
"Of course." He sent the picture to her. "I drew the comic for fun but if you don't mind, I could publish it." 
She nodded, not minding in the slightest. "Who is the male lead?" Of course, she would be curious about who could be paired with her in the comic world. 
He grinned and said, "The female lead is a strong queen. She doesn't need a male lead." 
An idea popped up in his head. "Why don't we create one comic with the two of us as the leads?" 
He exoected her to scold him but instead, she smile. "Why do we need to be a couple in a fantasy comic when we can he a couple in real life?" 
"What?" Her words caught him off guard. 
She had blurted out without thinking through it, but since she had already said it, she could no longer change her mind. She took a deep breath and looked up at him. "What I mean is, we like each other, so why not?" 
He gazed into her eyes, not daring to believe what he had just heard. Did she just say that they liked each other?... She liked him too? 
Gathering her confidence, she took his hand in her small, trembling one. "Cedric, I like you. Perhaps, I even love you. Can you…can you be my boyfriend?" 
When he felt her soft, warm hand in his, he finally dared to believe in the scene unfolding in front of him. His heart was racing so fast that he didn't know what to do.
However, his silence made her so nervous that all her anticipation was starting to fade into embarassment. Could it be that he had thought too much, that he didn't actually want to be with her? 
When he saw her saddened expression, he snapped back to his senses. "Yu, you… you like me? It's even possible that you love me? You also want to be with me?" His voice was still full of disbelief. "I'm not dreaming, right? quick, pinch me!" 
In relief, she emotionally pinched his cheek then kissed the part she had just pinched, before blushing and pulling away. 
His ears stained red and he was so happy he could fly to the sky. Holding her hand, he pulled her back to his side so she would face him. In the next second, he leaned over and pressed a gentle peck on her lips. 
She suddenly didn't know where to place her eyes and resorted to curling herself and disappearing into the duvet. She didn't need a mirror to know how red her face must be. 
After using up almost all of his self control to prevent himself from breaking into a happy dance, he stretched his hand to turn off the light and then lied down next to her. 
He couldn't help pulling her into his arms. "Yu, are you really my girlfriend now?" 
"Mmh." She nodded without turning to face him. 
He smiled like an idiot and said nothing more, afraid that whatever he would say might anger her into changing her mind. 
After battling his thoughts for a while, he finally said, "Then, would you like to go out on another date with me?" 
"Sure." She answered in one word, her voice flustered. 
"Yu, I'm not dreaming, right?" He confirmed yet again. 
"If you ask again, I will say that you are dreaming." She warned and turned to glare at him.
Under the Moonlight, the guy's handsome face looked even more charming when he smiled, and his eyes seemed to have a glow added to them. He chuckled at her threat. "Don't even think about it. You have already agreed to be my girlfriend so you are mine. If you say anything to change that, I will cry so hard that I will pass out." 
"You don't need to cry, you crybaby." She pinched his face and pecked his lips, her heart racing. This must be the boldest thing she had ever done. 
In response, he pulled her into a tighter hug and kissed her for a little longer, prying her lips open as his hand held her waist. They were both inexperienced so they were basically biting and licking each other's lips, but their hearts were filled with contentment. 
She wrapped her arms around his neck and just as she shifted the position of her leg, she felt something stiff against her thigh. At her age, she obviously knew what that was, and her face reddened even more as she looked at him. "You… that…" 
Cedric coughed awkwardly. "It's okay. Don't worry about that." 
"Oh…" She looked relieved. 
In reality, his body had always reacted to her presence, it was only natural. However, he knew that she was not ready for it so he didn't dare to touch her yet. He could only hold her and go to sleep with her in his arms. This was the happiest night he had ever had. 


"Little troubleshooter, we meet again. If you are still thinking of trying to get away, you better give up that silly idea." Ji Xiehan said, pinning her against the wall.

 Li Lanni pushed her fists against his chest. "Is this how you say ‘Hi’ to all your interviewers, Mr. Ji?" 

"There is no interviewer and certainly no interviewee." The man grinned devilishly. "There is only a husband and a wife. My darling, how are you going to compensate for all the emotional damage you caused me by slipping away?" 

"What?" Heavens... just what had she gotten herself into?

"Actually, I've prepared for that line for a very long time now..." said Ren.

"Oh really... Then, for my entertainment, I will give you 5 wishes..." said the mighty voice.

"5 wishes... Well then, for my first wish, I wish to have a phoenix royal bloodline.

For my second wish, I wish to have an Anime System that grants me everything I want.

The third wish is Instant Mastery...

My fourth wish is to look like King Arthas in Warcraft but more handsome.

For my fifth wish, save this wish so I can use it later on..." Ren told the mighty voice what was his wish.

"Well then, if this is your wish then I will grant it now!" The mighty voice said out loud, following that was a snapping sound.
