It all started with a coffee, the love between a guy who can hear thoughts and a girl whose words are blunt.

"It is here, so I guess all monsters can drop the puzzle pieces for language bloodline skill," said Cade as he was happy with his discovery. 

The language skill needed 20 puzzle pieces just like the language skill from the toad. Cade smiled because it won't take long for him to get twenty of them. 

When Cade looked at the leader skill, he wondered about what it can do. He saw the same one from the big blue tongue toad but that leader skill was for the big blue tongue toad and the one he can get from the slime was for the slime. 

By the name of the skill, Cade wondered if he can be a leader of a group of slime if he were to learn the skill? 

Looking at more of the list of the puzzle, Cade found another familiar puzzle. The slime essence, slime key and slime core. The essence and key needed 100 puzzle pieces while the core needed 1000 puzzle pieces. 

"They must be something really big. Since slime is easy to defeat, should I collect them all and see what I can do with them?" thought Cade. As he had finished looking at the list of drops, Cade chose to get the first part of the figure puzzle to increase his stat. 

With all of that done, it was time for Cade to continue hunting the slime and he suddenly realized how stupid he was. He opened the system and chose the map function. He completely forgot about it. 

When the map opened, Cade can see everything lurking around him. Apparently, just like he thought, no one was around him. He can see a few red dots around though and when he touched the dot, the system said it was slime. 

"So, red mean they are hostile," said Cade as this was his first time seeing the red dot. Actually, that was his second time using the mapping function. He had totally forgot about it. 

With the mapping function, it made it easier for Cade to know the direction and then came to his realization about the reason the level limit increased that fast. 

Maybe the explorers were using the mapping function to locate the slime and find the right way to the floor boss room. 

Cade went to the slime he detected through the map and when he arrived at the location, he appraised the slime and to his surprise, the appraisal showed more information about the slime.

"Whoa~ what with this sudden information about the slime? Is it because I kill one? That's right, this happen to the iron ore too. Before I dug the ore, the system only showed me the name of the ore but after I dug the ore, more information can be seen," said Cade.

Cade deduced that it was because Cade obtained the ore and killed the slime that more information about them were available. 

Looking at the slime information, it was a bit different from the past. When the system appraised the monsters before the update, all it shown were the name, grade and level but now, Cade can see the maximum amount of stat it can have as well as the total stat they had. 

Cade got curious of other monsters' stat. Once he had enough looking at the data, Cade went and attack the slime. Just like before, one hit to the core and the slime was killed. Cade chose the second part of the puzzle and complete a figure of the slime. 

Cade absorbed the puzzle and he was a bit disappointed at the amount of stat he got. He only got 10 stat points. Compared to the 35 stat points he got from the toad, that was too low. 

He used all ten stat points on his endurance stat increasing it to 33 points. Cade wanted to raise his vitality and endurance stat first before he considered raising other stat. 

His reason was because he wanted to last longer in a fight. He felt really soured when he lost the fight against the humanoid toad that quickly. He did not contribute anything to the fight and he even needed the help from others to save him. 

He was too useless and he hated that feeling. He was abandoned because he was deemed useless and at his current stat, his family proved to be right. 

As for other stats, he can rely on his equipment especially strength because his weapon was far stronger and more than enough to deal with monsters up to level 20 if they were grade D or below.

Cade had completed one of his objectives and it was time for Cade to continue to complete what he came there for. The slime language bloodline skill. 

With the mapping function, Cade breezed through the dungeon towards the slime he found and killed them. Since they were hostile, he did not feel guilty killing them.

All the killed he made; Cade choose the language skill puzzle piece as his drop. Thanks to the mapping function, it was easy for Cade to locate the slime and his hunting had become faster than when he was in the big tongue toad dungeon. 

He just needed to walked a bit and the map will locate the slime, he headed to them, killed them and got himself his chosen drop. 

It only took Cade about half an hour to kill 20 slimes and collected all 20 pieces of puzzle for the slime language bloodline skill. 

Cade was elated as that was his first time completing a 20 pieces puzzle or maybe he was the first in the universe. From his knowledge, the highest amount of puzzle that was completed was 12 pieces and that puzzle needed 15 years to complete. 

However, Cade knew that that was untrue because the normal bloodline skill needed 10 puzzle pieces and many founders of the big family had the full bloodline skill that Cade cannot found once in any of the monsters he killed. 

Imagine if the normal skill needed 10 puzzle pieces, the full skill will surely need more than that. It just that they never publicize it. Normal human won't even know about the amount of puzzle pieces need and the same goes for explorers too. 

Cade was lucky to get his link growth skill and was able to increase his luck and by chance knew more about the puzzle pieces. If not, he will be as clueless as everyone else. 

Now that he had all the puzzle pieces for the slime language bloodline skill book, the system asked him if he wanted to combine them and Cade said yes. 

Bright light shone but it did not last long. Only a few seconds. Completely different compared to the complete figure puzzle. 

He remembered that time when he was with Jonathan and he cannot absorb the complete puzzle and it kept shone without stopping until Jonathan absorbed the complete puzzle. 

The skill book for the slime language bloodline skill was on his hand. The skill book was thicker than normal skill book. 

[Learn the slime bloodline skill – slime language?] asked the system. Cade said yes.

[Are you sure?] asked the system again. Cade said yes again. 

[Really?] asked the system one more time. 

"??? Yes… Why is the system asking me three times?" said Cade one more time and the skill book disintegrated into lights and it entered Cade's body. Cade felt like something was happening to his body. He can feel it. 

Usually, when learning a skill from the skill book, nothing will happen. The system asked if they wanted to learn the skill and boom, the skill will be in the list of skill. That was it. 

However, Cade can feel something changing in his body and he did not know why. "Is this because this is a bloodline skill?" Cade wondered. The changes happened for 10 minutes when it suddenly stopped. 

After that, Cade felt like usual like nothing had changed. Cade checked his body and nothing was changing. He actually felt a bit scared that he will turn into a slime or something because the skill name was bloodline though everyone knew that the skill was named like that because of its ability to be passed down to the next generation.

Once he confirmed that nothing was changing in his body, he sighed in relieved. When he felt something was changing inside himself, he was scared shitless but he tried to maintain his calm demeanor. 

Cade wanted to try checking his skill when suddenly the system let out another notification. 

[Your body now contain the gene of the slime. Due to this, your body is unsuitable to learn another monster skill as well as getting another monster bloodline skill. Fret not, you will be fine]

Cade stared blankly at the notifications. Once he came to his senses, instead of talking or thinking, he immediately went to his skill list and saw the slime language skill. Cade immediately touched the skill and wanted to delete it, however…

[The skill is permanent] said the system.

In an age of magic, space travel and explorations, humans had far surpassed what they were capable of in the past. 

In a small planet located in a small star sector, a young man name Cade was living his life peacefully. 

One day, Cade was playing around with cardboard and he suddenly awakened his system. However, an accident happened and the cardboard he played with became part of his power. 

Followed Cade's journey in making his name as an explorer in the universe.

The drool hanging out of his mouth was long as Robert's story about his passion for completing the jigsaw puzzle sets. Feeling hard done by with what had happened, Robert wanted to shed a tear, but his way of living and the fighter in him was not having it, so he came up with another idea when pressured with the challenge of convincing Theo that solving jigsaw puzzles are chic. 
"Hmm, what can I do to motivate him?" Robert thought to himself. 
Theo stared at him, dead in his face, and this little moment turned into a staring contest between the two divergent thinkers. They made all sorts of wacky faces to come out the victor, such as taking their hands to widen their eyes while sticking out their lips to crossing their eyes and opening their mouth like a hippo with their tongue hanging out of their mouth.
Then it finally hit him as the light bulb over his head lit up. 
"OH!" exclaimed Robert when he glimpsed over in the kitchen from the living room and saw the cupboards. That made him remember a prank or trick you may say that his father had played on him a long time ago. 
The prank in question was when his father hid one of the puzzle pieces. Before giving him to complete one of the puzzles off, and this was before his first win. 
His father purposely took a long time to solve the set because he knew the victory had already been his.
 When Robert had realized that one of the pieces was missing, he said to his father, "I have won by default because a piece is missing." His father looked into the box, then glanced around the room and replied with, "I do not see any missing piece." 
"Are you blind? There is no puzzle piece in here," Robert said as he grabbed the puzzle box. 
His father began to crack up, and it infuriated Robert even more since he felt that he was about to cross the finish line first and capture his first win. Irritably asking, "Why are you laughing!" 
"That is your problem, kid. Not mines."
"Huh?"
"You took one look at the puzzle set believing that all the pieces will be there, thinking everything was already, you began putting it together. But it's impossible to finish something that is incomplete right? The listen to take from this is nothing as it seems in life, and things will always be missing. So, it is your job to either keep it incomplete or find what is missing to make it whole."
"But... that is unfair."
"Oh, I have a lot of pieces to put together. You can go take your default win if you want, kid."
That night Robert looked far and wide for the hidden puzzle piece within the house. He searched tirelessly around the house, turning it upside down. While his father finished his jigsaw puzzle set little by little at a snail pace. 
After a great deal of time had passed, his father was one piece away from putting it all together to complete the set. He watched over at Robert and blurted out, "Phew! all this winning is making me thirsty."
"Hey, kid?"
"Hmph!"
With a massive grin on his face, as he politely asked, "Can you please take the red cup from the cupboard and bring some water for this old man?"
Although Robert was pissed off that he could strangle a cat, he still respected his desires and went for a cup of water. But that did not let his father escape the menacing glares he got while Robert was on his way for the water. 
When he opened the cupboard door and lifted the red cup, the little all-so important puzzle piece was. His father blasted out in laugher as he told him to hurry up before he loses the contest yet again. 
Robert sprinted with all his might, like Usain Bolt in the hundred meters to his unfinished puzzle. But unlike Bolt, he still lost to his father. 
*sips water*

"Ah! Good times, I have to bring that up with him next time he calls." Said Robert, while thinking out loud. 
"Mm-hmm, it was.... ah." 
He turned around to witness a Theo who seated upright, taking in every word of the story. 
"So, you like it when I am frustrated and now happy, huh?" 
Theo started to giggle as he asked him if there were more stories to tell. Robert browed across his brain to locate more puzzle scenarios with his father. Then there it was once again, the light bulb over that head of his.
He strung up, "I got it!" 
Robert dashed upstairs as if he had found the last piece of a puzzle set. 
"Hold on, I will be right back!" he yelled while running. 
Not long after going up the flight of stairs, he came back down at the same pace. He returned with one of his old jigsaw puzzles set, with a portrayal of R2-D2 and C3PO on in the Millennium Falcon on it. 
"This one was my favorite growing up, still is, to be honest."
 "Who woulda thunk it?" 
"Hey, I thought you were listening to that part of the story, and where did you learn that?"
"Hehe! From Jellymint on Adventure Buddies, and Linus was listening to your story."
"Anyways, let us put on our Inspector Gadget hats and get cracking."
Robert threw all of the puzzle pieces on the center table in the living room. When Theo saw all the scattered pieces on the table looking like one big mess, he said, "The puzzle broke."
Robert chuckles,
"I guess it broke. Well, then we have to fix it if that is the case, right?"
"It seems like too much work, ugh," Theo said as he fell onto the fluffy carpet.
Here we go again, with like father; like son. As Robert took a similar approach to his old man when he told Theo, "Oh, but I wanted to see the picture of the cool looking robots, oh how amazing those robots are with their robotic bodies. Just so awesome does robots are, huh sigh."
Theo instantly rose from the carpet and asked, "How amazingly awesome are they?"
Robert, in the most dramatic way ever, put his hand on Theo's shoulder as he took a deep breath through his nose and exhaled through that same nose and said in a very monotoned voice, "Super amazingly awesome."
"I want to see the robots, Dada." 
Yes, Theo had fallen right into his trap. 
"Let us get to work and puzzle this unpuzzled puzzle. Then
one, as well as the other, sat down together, trying to solve the jigsaw puzzle set as Robert was seated on the couch while Theo stooped on the carpet. They both were parked at their seats for about two hours, occasionally getting up to use the toilet and get beverages from the refrigerator. 
Even though Robert could have completed the set in less than five minutes, he left most of the work for Theo to figure it out. 
"This one goes here."
"Nope"
"Here for this one..."
"Nah."
"And the next one goes right there."
"Wait.... *chuckles* Unfortunately not."
*Hmph* "This is too hard...ughhhh"
Theo was on the blink of submission as he began to believe that solving the puzzle was getting to be difficult. But being the great father that he is, Robert made an effort to cheer him up by helping him out. 
"There are a lot of tips that I can give to you since it's your first time solving a jigsaw puzzle set."
*Yay* "Thanks please"
He told Theo how to make use of the end puzzle pieces. By doing this first, you can get the border of the entire set. With this outline, it will make it loads easier to complete the hundred-piece jigsaw puzzle set. 
 "Is this an end piece?"
"Yep"
His eyes lit up like a Christmas tree on the 25th of December, with the expression "Aah!" coming out his mouth. 
"Ya see, it is better to have an outline of things before you begin to do it. Remember what your Mama told you, it is better to work...."
"Smarter and not harder."
"Exactly."
Even though Theo got advised to find the end pieces first and put them together by Robert, he still had a rough time with the set. 
Robert glanced at him as he detected that Theo seemed as if he was on the urge of giving up once again. So being as witty as a fox evading a hunter, Robert came up with some other cunning idea to motivate Theo to finish the puzzle. 
"Haa! Too bad for the unfixed robots. They have to remain there, forever broken without a brave robotic wizard to assemble them."
"Huh..."
"How sad it must be for them to endure this mistreated and soon they may be abundant, left it their broken Robo world with nothing to look forward to in the morn, noon and night. How tragic it must feel not knowing if you will never be able to touch your copper arms or not be able to roll on your wheels ever again."
"I...…can be a robotic wizard."
"How I truly feel broken-hearted for what is their fate. *Exhale* At least I have something in common with my friends R2-D2 and C3PO. How awful that they have to stay like this and endure this type of pain, but oh no no no, I know you, Theodore will rise to the occasion. Ah, what are you doing?"
While deep in the course of his motivational speech, Robert saw him murmuring to stuff Imp. He was at sea with what was happening. He felt down since he was not able to finish his passionate speech. 
Theo's response was even more disappointing as he stated, "Yea, Linos said that this whole thing sounds like a drag."
"Ah…ah WHAT?!"
"How was your first-time solving puzzle sets Dada?"
Being flustered by the questions because, for some strange reason, he was not expecting Theo to ask it, he replied with.
"Well…. urm you know, it was easy peasy lemon squeezy, ha-ha."
However, what Robert said was actually "a little lie," he likes to call it. Because the first attempt at solving a jigsaw puzzle set was like watching a tiger trying to cross an ice bridge, it doesn't look pretty, but you can admire its determination as it accepts the challenge and will do what it has to with all of its might. 
He called it stupid countless times and said it made no sense because it does nothing for a person, but every time he had opened his mouth. He picked up another puzzle piece to find out whether it could fit or not. The true essence of the "eye of the tiger." 
Robert was enraptured by robots and any that deals with technology, so the Star Wars puzzle made him excited. That inspired Robert to such a great deal that he went on ahead to study Information Technology in college in the US, and it is where he met his two best friends, Asta Ings and Dilliano Yami.  
The place in which the three friends came up with the manufacturing of hi-tech gadgets such as drones, etc. Three of them always tinkered with electronics in their college after classes, so chemistry among them was never an issue. The trio finishes college to establish their own company, taking the first letter in, all of their last names to produce DIY-Tech. 
Asta had a nose that could sniff out profits like how a dog can sniff out a buried bone, Dilliano was so good at the wiring that you won't put it past him to wire an entire building by himself, and Robert was a jack of all trades when it comes to technology.
However, Robert tended to be homesick and miss his parent while being away for a lengthy period. 
"Eureka!" suddenly uttered Robert as he jumped up from the couch. 
"Eek!"
"Sorry for scaring you, bub…."
Robert had finally come up with the perfect way to let Theo complete the jigsaw puzzle set.
He thought to himself before spouting out the reason to finish the set for Theo.
"There is no way he is not going to bat an eyelid for this one."
Robert's confidence in himself was solemnly over the roof as he told Theo, ".... But you do realize that if we do not finish the puzzle set, then our two robot friends won't be able to go home to their family, right?"
"What Mr. Robert has a family?"
"Oh, for sure. Everyone has a family."
"Uh oh! Mr. Robot would not be able to go to his Mama and Dada..."
"I'm sorry to tell you this, but no, Mr. Robot won't get to see them. Sigh..."
He soon got up as if he was on his way to pack up the jigsaw puzzle set and cleverly said, "Oh my, they love their Mama and Dada too."
That made young and innocent Theo worried about "Mr. Robert" not being able to go home to his mother and father.
"I guess I should put this away...…"
"WAIT!!"
"Eh...?"
Theo got up with bright-eyes and bushy-tailed as he declared, "We have an important mission to complete, Captain Dada."
"Whew, I guess we have a job to do, Commander Theodore."
Robert had a little victory celebration in his head, silently shouting, "Finally!"

An odyssey that takes him to all kinds of contrasting scenes. Such as a Halloween party, a Caribbean island, a race around the Metropolis of Motor City, and more. He meets a shedload of fascinating characters that gives young Theo life lessons and morals along the mind trip.

it didn't even had the lock or a key hole..at first Rex thought about using force or Transmutate to open it but then he soon gave up that idea after all the technology he saw today was unknown what if there was a hidden mechanism that may counter his attack or may destroy the thing inside it
after thinking for a while Rex pressed his thumb on the prick
when he did that an unexpected thing happened the small prick pierced Rex's skin like butter and a small drop of blood came out of the wound
before Rex even had time to think much the drop of the blood was absorbed by the area around the prick then the box started to absorb Qi from Rex's hand
Rex did not resisted and let it absorb as much as Qi as it needed but he still underestimated the Box's hunger and in the end he needed to drink few Qi replenishing potions to make up for it
after the box stopped absorbing Qi all the three diamonds on it started to shine brightly but soon they stopped shining
then the rectangular picture of the symbol got divided in very small pieces of different shapes then they got jumbled up, after that the first diamond started shining brightly but at a closed look Rex found out that it was loosing its shine with time
Rex then looked at the puzzle like picture and tried to lift one piece but he wasn't able to lift it like it was an illusion but then an idea came to his mind and he tried to drag the piece to the side and indeed that piece switched its place with the piece on the side
'is it a puzzle..seriously' (Rex)
when Rex was still observing the puzzle the light on the first diamond disappeared and as soon as it disappeared the pieces of the puzzle moved and jumbled up again then the second diamond lighted up
'damn.. it also have a time limit and according to the number of the diamond there are only three chances and i already lost one chance
i have already wasted few seconds in the second chance there is no use trying.. Rose analyze the pattern in which the puzzle's pieces moved and remember to scan the puzzle when the third diamond lit up … according the my calculation we only have 15 seconds to solve the puzzle..
can a normal person even even solve it what was its maker thinking when he made it.. but its my good luck that this is the trial..a software programmer normally makes a puzzle game by developing a logic first and this puzzle follow the same principle
and if someone can make a game with a logic then someone can also solve it if he gets the logic as long as we can find the logic behind it and use it to deduct the pattern in which the pieces moves then we can solve it easily' (Rex)
soon the second diamond dimmed and the third diamond lighted up and with that the pieces jumbled up again

Rex used both his hands and Telekinesis to solve the puzzle

a new holographic window appeared beside Rex which showed the simplest and fastest way to solve the puzzle
'Fast Clock' (Rex)
after using Fast Clock everything appeared slow in Rex's eyes including his body but his analyzing and calculating speed increased by several folds but Rex did not used it because of that but that fact that even after using it, it did not had much effect on Telekinesis and he could still solve the puzzle at high speed
and just 3 seconds after using Fast Clock Rex solved the puzzle
a total of 7 seconds were used up in the whole process
after the puzzle was solved the all the three diamonds were fully lighted up again and started twinkling
but Rex was not in a mood to watch this light show he set on his buttocks and wiped the cold sweat on his forehead

Then, I left other dishes when I was wash them and go to the door. And I did open the door and then, I see a small box on the doormat. And I pick it up, and then I saw my name in the box. So, I did took it inside and go to the kitchen and then I tell my grandma when I go to the kitchen.
Yuni:"Grandma, it's my mail today. I wonder what is inside."
Grandma:"What is adress came from to give you Yuni?"
Yuni:"Well, let see... It's from a Egypt Grandma."
Grandma:"Really? Well then, open it Yuni."
Yuni:"Okay, Grandma."
We sit from the chair in the kitchen and then, I scratch a cover paper and open a small box, we just shock and my grandma was realize about a box...and she gasp and say,
Grandma:"*gasp* Yuni... It's a millennium puzzle!"
Yuni:"Huh?!... It's a millennium puzzle. How it get here Grandma?"
Grandma:"Well, I can do read a Egyptian words what is all about. Okay?"
Yuni:"Sure, Grandma. You tell me about your story from Egypt a long ago when you younger right?"
Grandma:"*chuckles* Ohh, that's right. How do I forget? I'm older anyway. *laughs*"
Yuni:"*laughs*"
We both laughing ourselves when my grandma can translate a Egyptian meanings and she forgot about herself a long ago. My grandma was looking a Egyptian's meaning words and she said,
Grandma:"A millennium puzzle was 5,000 years when the Pharaoh using all millennium items to fight to a shadow realm in the darkest to all life's. One girl was same the Pharaoh's side and others has a guardian to protect in Egypt, they are 4 guardians for fight against shadow creatures. If the person who finish a millennium puzzle to a last piece, you will see from yourself all thoughts in shadows inside you in the future."
Yuni:"Wow, I never knew the millennium items are real? That's amazing Grandma."
Grandma:"Yes, but now a millennium puzzle is here from you Yuni. That's impossible."
Yuni:"I have no idea Grandma. I'll take a look a letter from a mail."
I was looking a letter from a mail box and then, I found inside a small box inside on it. I took it and open it and read from a start.
Yuni:"Dear Ms. Motou,
When I give this from millennium puzzle to you, I need you to very carefully when the bandits around you to get a millennium puzzle from other bandits. I know you can do it take care it okay, this is not making joking around anymore. You have to do this, please Ms. Motou. Your past is on your side from us. Your friend, Ishizu."
Grandma:"Who is Ishizu Yuni?"
Yuni:"I don't know her. Maybe she's from the Egypt when she give me a letter and millennium puzzle."
Grandma:"Ohhh,okay."
When my grandma finish a read from millennium box and I read a letter is done, then I was realize if I do it to finish all millennium puzzle? I think I have to do it. And I said to my grandma from to her,
Yuni:"I'll do it Grandma."
Grandma:"Really Yuni? I don't know if you have to do it, maybe the bandits tried to get your millennium puzzle from outside."
Yuni:"But, I have too Grandma. If she give me a millennium puzzle, then I have to protect it those bandits want to get me. I'll be fine Grandma, don't worry about me. I'll be stay strong and brave."
So, my grandma was stand at me and hug me tight cause she was scared what happened to me those bandits get me. And she said look at me and she give me a millennium box.
Grandma:"Well then, be careful Yuni. Don't let gone your millennium puzzle from inside okay?"
Yuni:"Okay Grandma, I'm off now."
Grandma:"Ohh! Yuni. Your lunch box, don't forget when you in school study hard and listen to the teachers okay."
Yuni:"Yes, Grandma."
Grandma:"Okay. Give me big hug and kiss Yuni."
Yuni:"Okay. * hugged and kiss her cheeks* Okay. Bye Grandma."
Grandma:"Bye Yuni. Take care."
I finish eat a breakfast and I go to my grandma with big hug and kiss. I go to the door and reach to the school.



Maki hid behind the chairs. Lightly raising her head, peeking to see where Aira was and what she was doing. Aira was checking behind every chair. Just like what Maki did for the past 30 minutes. 

'That's pointless. I have checked every single seat and found nothing.' She sighed. Thinking about how stupid it was. Checking the chairs out, that is. She let herself watch Aira tire herself out, checking seats out. 

"Oh found ya'!" Aira's face brightened at the sight of the puzzle piece. However, it was not the same for Maki. Her expression turned sour when she saw Aira picked up the jigsaw piece. 

She unintentionally reveal herself to Aira. Maki exclaimed. Aira was startled by her. The latter almost drop the piece. 

Aira made a mocking face. "Too bad! You were the first one here, yet It's me found what you were looking for." Aira began descending to the stairs. 

Maki was left confused and looking all stupid. She lost all her strength and let herself fell on the chair. "Ugh! My head is starting to ache!" She threw a hand in the air.

An hour had passed since the test began. So far, Katsuo was able to collect four puzzle piece. He found 1 inside the 3rd years' building, two at the 2nd years' building and 1 at the 1st years'. 

Maki, on the other side, got herself two puzzle piece. One at the cafeteria and one inside a tree hole. She was tired of all this damn thing. She surrendered herself to the cold breeze. She was under the shade of the tree where she found her 2nd piece. 

Class B also has six puzzle piece. And class D has 5 puzzle piece. Upon finding the 17th puzzle piece, Ms. Principal announced that there was only one puzzle piece left. She pointed out where they could find the last piece. It was somewhere around the third year school building. Katsuo must have missed it out. Since he rushed down to the back of the building. He hurried went back to where he decided to start looking. 

He arrived, however, all other four participants beat him to it. They were already inside, searching for the last piece. Every nook and cranny. 

"Where the hell is Maki? Why isn't she here?" It was not the time for that. He just entered whatever place was near him. 

Maki's classmates were beginning to get confused and spitting criticism. 

"Look at her," said by one Seth's classmates. "She's resting, whilst Katsuo-kun is doing his best for our class. I can't believe her!" 

"What's their problem? Aren't they watching? The girl has been out there searching for an entire hour. Can't they call that doing her best. My goodness!" Erika said. Her hand on her head. She's starting to get angry. 

"Calm down Erika-san. Leave them be. They are just a bunch of baggage." Tachibana said. She had her tone down. 

Ryou was silently watching the test. More likely, he was asleep. Actually, it was the same for the other students. The test was not thrilling or anything. It was boring for them. Noise began circulating a long time ago. Ryou said not to wake him up. 

Back to 3rd years' school building. The five students have searched all of the rooms and there was only one left to search. 

It was the infirmary. Katsuo opened the door of the infirmary only to see that the other beat him to it, again. They were flipping the room upside-down. But they were putting back the things where they took. 

Katsuo was about to get his ass moving when, "Tada! I've found it!" Class B's student Aira was the one who found the last puzzle piece. The other three felt their body lost energy. They let out a deep, exhausted sighed. 

"Congrats. It's Class B's win." Katsuo could not do anything but congratulate his enemy. 

"The last piece has been found!" Ms. Principal said through the screen. "Now that the puzzle pieces has been finally found. It's now time to move to putting the pieces together and solve the jigsaw's mystery! The six students may now go inside the school gym, where everyone is." 

"Oh, I think it's not yet done. Class F still have a chance, I guess."

All six was gathered on the stage. The frame of the jigsaw was set atop of a table. Every class brought out their collected puzzle pieces. 

"Class B has 7 pieces. Class F has 6 and Class D has 5. All six of them will help each other put the pieces together. But first, I will have to write the points you have. It was written at the back of the pieces." 

'So, that's what the numbers are for.' 

They have written down their points collected. They passed it to Ms. Principal and were surprised to see the result of the points earned. 

She smiled. They single out every possible thing that could happen. "What a turn of events! All three class has the same points of 100! But, don't worry for we have think of this possibility. We have set up a question. A super really hard question. And since the class B found 7 pieces, they will get to answer the question first!"

Seth Kaneko, became an orphan when his Mom and Dad had an accident that leads to their death.

He was left with a huge sum of debt. He knew that he can't pay all of his inherited debt, so he resorted to suicide by hanging himself, in order to escape debts. But unfortunately, he was saved by his apartment's landlord and rushed him to a hospital.

Having dropped off her charges, Rowan climbed all the way up to the sixth-floor classroom A only to find a note that read, "We'll be on the first floor in classroom 13A for Ancient Studies."
Letting out a slew of curses, Rowan climbs all the way back down to the first floor of the castle and to said classroom 13A. She was rather late at this point as she entered the classroom to only find everyone standing up against the wall and staring at her. 
Professor Salah is dressed in her traditional dark blue robes with golden intricate designs on the upper bodice and sleeves. Professor Salah was a curved witch with olive-skinned and kohl-lined eyes. Her honey-colored eyes popped out that much more as her plump lips frowned. Her dark hair had tiny woven golden beaded tassels that swayed unhappily as they musically tinkled with her every movement.
"You are late, Miss Prince," Professor Salah flatly said. "Please go stand by the wall with the rest of the students and do not touch anything."
Rowan briefly glances at the various objects spread throughout the room on the stone floor but went to stand next to Severus. She ignored Barrett Boone and his two friends. Theoretically, she was still supposed to be angry at the breakup. Which to be honest she really should be mad. She had been the one to be made out into the villain, while everyone had sided on Barrett's side. When he was the one who cheated on her first! (And yes, they had never been in an actual relationship, but the correct thing would have been to warn her rather than suddenly dropping the bomb off on her.)
Professor Salah clears her throat and in a husky accented voice says, "As I was saying before, you've all learned ancient basic scripts the year before. These are low-level cursed objects. To be curse breakers or even Auror's, you will need to learn how to break curses on various objects. As such, I will allow you all to touch said objects and attempt to break the curse using the skills we have been learning during the previous year. 
I do not expect any of you to succeed but to merely attempt the said feat. For homework, I expect all the ancient scripts used along with spells to be written down and explain why said functions could have worked and why they did not break the curse. Also, write a proposal on how to break the said curse on the item for the next class. You shall all be attempting said written proposal."
Severus who had been giving Barrett the stink eye whispers the moment Professor Salah gestures for them to move. "So, why were you so late?"
Rowan glares at Severus that screams, "Idiot, no one told me, I had to climb the tower and then back down again."
Severus sheepishly grins as they all kneel on the floor with objects and chalk. Chalk to write potential ideas on the floor as they had their wands at their side ready to attempt to break the curse. Once everyone was seated next to an item, Professor Salah kept a close eye on them. Despite the objects being cursed with low-level spells, they could still potentially seriously harm any one of her students.
Rowan just studied the object rather thoughtfully. As promised by Sir Knight Prince the use of the spell, Oculus Specula, had protected her left eye, but caused the rest of her senses to become that much more sensitive. Despite not being able to see the magic in front of her, she could clearly feel it. A mental image gradually formed in her mind of the curses' true form.
The three other Ravenclaw seventh years could much more easily sense the magic inside the objects as their magic had already fully awakened as they were already sixteen years of age. They quickly got work leaving Rowan and Severus still observing the cursed artifacts. However, not long after Severus began to work leaving Rowan still carefully studying the artifact before her.
Most fifth-year students are not capable of sensing such delicate magic. Unlike Rowan, Severus's talent for potion making came partially from their Prince lineage. Just like Sir Knight Prince had explained the magic veins founding within the Prince males allowed Severus to control a vast amount of power with great delicacy. And the other portion came from sheer talent and experience. 
The art of Potion making was difficult because a single error could potentially destroy the potion in the process of being brewed. The art of being patient and attentive were the skills of great potioneers. Talent could be found anywhere but these two characteristics were what defined a mediocre potioneer from a potions master. It was not something that could be taught but could only be gained through hard work. And Severus had acquired said skill early on.
With a loud sigh, Rowan finally got to work. After failing to find a single knot in the curse, she decided to visualize the curse as a puzzle. She was rather good at solving puzzles.
With this new frame of mind, Rowan began to make some progress. Trying out various types of puzzles to attempt to solve the curse, she finally settled on one that showed promise, a sliding block puzzle. Parts of the curse had to be moved around until everything lined up neatly much like a sliding puzzle and the curse could be broken. With that idea in mind, she slowly began to prod the cursed object before her with her magic using an ancient script. It took her more a few tries and several failures to finally figure out what worked best to cause the magic found within the curse to move like a sliding block puzzle.
Once, Rowan grasped the correct technique everything fell into place. A sliding block puzzle was solved rather easily, one just had to start with the first row and column and then work from there. With a pleased expression, she works her way through the puzzle until finally the sliding block puzzle neatly lines up and the curse breaks with a faint flash.
Feeling that her legs are sore, Rowan unsteadily climbs to her feet to rub her sore knees. She realizes everyone is staring at her including Professor Salah, since the class was close to ending, and the others had begun to take notes of their attempts to show Professor Salah.
"Miss Prince, would you care to explain to the classroom, what you just did?" Professor Salah said with disbelief.
"I just solved a sliding block puzzle," Rowan explained as the lightbulb went on in Severus's face.
Instantly Severus got to work, while Professor Salah and everyone else remained in obvious confusion. "May I use the board to explain?" Rowan asked.
Professor Salah gestures to Rowan to go ahead as Rowan draws a 5x5 puzzle with a total of twenty blocks. She numbers all the blocks in random order and says, "How would one go about solving this type of puzzle, where one can only slide the boxes into place to rearrange the blocks into numerical order?"
Seeing their blank glances, Rowan proceeds to explain how to go about solving a slide blocking puzzle via a methodical method. No matter how complex the sliding puzzle is if one started in the right place the sliding block puzzle could be solved. She begins to show them examples before putting the chalk down.
"That's all I did," Rowan finally said. "I just started breaking the curse from a fixed point and worked my way from there until the curse broke."
"Utterly genius!" Professor Salah murmured. "This is a revolutionary technique that will surely change the very foundation of curse breaking!"
Rowan makes a wry face and says, "Professor Salah, I didn't come up with this technique. This is a type of mental, mathematical muggle puzzle. The credit properly goes to Noyes Chapman, the American puzzle maker."
Professor Salah suddenly recalls that Rowan and Severus had been raised as half-bloods for their early life. Naturally, neither of them thought quite the same as wizards. And it would seem especially in Rowan's case.
"In that case, I shall credit the muggle puzzle maker," Professor Salah. "I hope you don't mind if I publish a paper on my findings, Miss Prince."
 "Not at all Professor," Rowan firmly replied. "Curse breaking though interesting and useful as it relates to Spell Crafting, but I shall not be specializing in said branch for a career."
A flash of light causes them all to turn around to see Severus proudly climbing onto his feet. "Well, that was quite simple once I got the hang of it," Severus smugly explained as he brushed the dust off his trousers.
Professor Salah makes a wry face and says, "It would seem that we have just witnessed the second proof that the method works. I shall expect the two of you to write an essay on the subject. For the next class period, the two of you will be tested on several low-level curses for the next class period while the rest of the class practices this new method on a single artifact."
The bell thankfully rings, before Professor Salah can say anything more. Rowan scurries away fast as she can as she had to pick up the first years and take them to History of Magic, before rushing to Charms. And Professor Flitwick better not pull the same trick that Professor Salah did on her!
Still, as Rowan and Severus made their way up to Charms, a small thought came to mind, Riddle's curse on the DADA. Such a curse should be physically present somewhere, but despite having explored most of Hogwarts including Dumbledore's office, she had never sensed any such lingering curses. However, the curse was very much real. So exactly, how was the curse was sustaining itself, or was there something more to the curse than initially met the eye? 
Either way that meant only more research, which Rowan simply did not have time for., when in doubt, cheat. She would just have to be clever about it but Aunt Georgine ought to have a better idea as Aunt Georgine was in Egypt for a time and knew more about wards than even Dumbledore. And curses were rather similar to curses in their own way, but instead of building a shield to defend, a curse was exactly the opposite, a sword to attack. 
It was an idea that bore merit, and with that thought in mind, Rowan and Severus made their way into their Charms classroom. Hopefully, Charms would not be too bad. But then again, that may be nigh improbable to hope for considering that their O.W.L.'s were this year.

Hmm, this is harder than it looks, he thought to himself, after getting stuck on one of the rows. Grabbing his iPod, he put in his headphones and turned on some music. Music always helped him concentrate better. Now he was able to turn his full thoughts to the puzzle.

He could see how one might think this was easy to do at first. After all, it was just lining up five rows of five different symbols, yet he could see a stumbling block after he had lined up all but two rows of symbols. The last two rows would be almost impossible to get with his current strategy. 

Putting it down on his chest, Stephen just stared at it for a few moments, trying to think of a winning strategy to get all five rows. Taking a glance up at the clock, he realized it was close to midnight. Damn! I've been at this almost two hours!

After several more minutes looking at the puzzle, he realized his initial strategy was all wrong. It could only lead to getting stuck on the last line. To solve the puzzle, he'd have to deconstruct the lines he already created, and start from the beginning. His fingers got to work. After about twenty five minutes, he had re-created three of the rows of symbols like before, and could now see a path to completion. His fingers moved quickly, if not for the fact that he was extremely sleepy and ready for bed. At least he had tomorrow off, and could sleep in.

Finally, he had just the last row to populate. His fingers moved the last symbol, which looked like a lower case letter b, into position, and completed the fifth and final row. Yes! He thought, smiling at himself for figuring out the puzzle. He stared at the completed puzzle for several moments, proud at figuring it out. It had taken the better part of two and half hours, but he had done it. 

Putting the completed puzzle on his nightstand, Stephen let out an audible yawn. It was so late, and his tiredness had finally caught up with him. It was all he could do to get his light turned off before his head finally hit the pillow. Stephen was out almost immediately, sound asleep. A good thing, for if he was still awake, he would have noticed his puzzle box was spilling out a light green gas from the two seams. That gas was steadily filling the room, all released from deep within the box.

Stephen, fast asleep as he was, didn't notice the gas slipping inside him. He breathed it deeply, inhaling the ancient fumes, and releasing a spiritual entity that had been caged for more than two thousand years.

For his part, Stephen only slept. It was a night without dreams or nightmares. A deep restful sleep that promised an interesting awakening.
