The System stood by the two chickens pecking at each other, guarding the place against any intruders as it controlled Fang Ning's body to stand at the side.
Putting Fang Ning aside, it was almost surprising how the Stygian Snake wasn't afraid of Vigilante A, who was watching them on the sidelines.
Vigilante A nodded as he watched on. Even though both of them behaved like chickens, at least Chicken Fang Ning had a better presentation than his opponent. Under the System's training and guidance, each pounce and retreat he made has its own meaning, and has characteristics of both attack and defense.
In contrast, that Stygian Snake was not up to par. It fought like some local mobster, relying entirely on its instincts to drag the fight longer.
Sadly, Fang Ning's training time was too short for him to have a significant rise in power. His abilities were still too weak, and after half an hour, Fang Ning still couldn't defeat him. Instead, his opponent was able to escape the Ultis he used, and he nearly got backstabbed during the process.
As the Stygian Snake was catching its breath, Fang Ning took a few steps back to increase the distance between them.
He had wasted too much time when he couldn't capture the snake quickly. Thus, he decided to stop using violence, and prepared himself to chase the Stygian Snake away with his skills in sarcasm and insults. After all, he still had many games he intended to cover. Half an hour had gone by, and Fang Ning had already used all of his skills in the fight. There was no point in continuing the fight any longer - he had no intention to spend the entire night fighting, or else he would have no time to play anymore! It was Monday tomorrow, and he would have to go to work in the morning.
Hence, Fang Ning opened his mouth and said, "Your martial arts is decent, but sadly you're under the command of others. You're just like a dog, and there's no delight in killing you. I have other matters to handle today, so I'll let you live! Leave immediately!"
Sir System the Naive blinked dumbly at that statement. What matters did the Host have? He was just playing in the System Cyber Cafe just before this, no? It took a look at the time, and quickly cursed, "F*ck, it's only been half an hour! There aren't any other ways to explain it, The Host's mind was once again on the unfinished games he had in the System Cyber Cafe."
There was no way the Stygian Snake was retreating. It hadn't completed its mission; it hadn't found out whether Vigilante A was a True Dragon or not. Instead, it wasted half an hour fighting with a white snake. If it returned like this, the lassie was probably going to torture it with another incantation.
Thus, the Stygian Snake immediately retorted, "The audacity! You're nowhere better than I am. Look at you, you're just a pet! You're forced to cultivate every day, and you probably couldn't even make time for a nap! What actual matters could you possibly have?"
There was no way Fang Ning would let this misunderstanding slide. He immediately rebutted, "Haha, I am no pet! The one standing guard is just my slave! He'll handle all the problems while I enjoy my freedom. It's just that our work has been pretty hectic lately, and I needed to punch card when I work. I still can play my games and read my novels after work! My life is much better than the dog you are, receiving commands and working for someone else!
The Stygian Snake's face morphed into one of jealousy and hatred, but it still hard headedly continued, "That's impossible! It's impossible for that to even happen in this world! He was so much stronger than my owner, but you're just as weak as I am. How could you be his owner? How would you be able to enjoy your freedom? I don't believe any of that! Well, unless you could tell me the latest chapter of that hit novel 'XXXXX', and what it's about."
Fang Ning replied, "I never expected you to share the same interests as me. That novel recently updated to Chapter 223, and was detailing the war scene for the Battle of the Triads. That stupid author once again told us that he needed a day off because his second uncle was admitted to the hospital. I'm thinking of actually doing some fieldwork, and if he was lying, I'll lock him up and force him to update. Based on my calculations, all of the members in his nuclear and extended family have been admitted to the hospital within one year. What else could you say now? This was the latest notification from this morning!"
It was as if the Stygian Snake had been hit by 10,000 Crit Points. It never took even half a step back when it fought Fang Ning for half an hour, and remained energetic throughout. However, its head hung low as it backed himself up into the walls of the alleyway, looking utterly defeated.
Then, the Stygian Snake bellowed to the sky, "F*ck everything in existence! Both of us are as weak as chickens, but you're the owner while I became as lowly as a dog! What mistake have I, Long Fan, made that has brought me this disastrous fate?"
'This dude was easy to trick.' Fang Ning thought. 'We did not lie to him, though; Sir System is not a human, and it couldn't care less about the technicalities of owner and slaves.'
Still, that piqued his interest in the dude's somber past. "Here, let's talk about your unlucky past for all of our amusement. Maybe we could even let the slave come and help you out, so I can also prove to you that I'm not boasting."
Initially, the Stygian Snake nearly coughed up blood, but hope blossomed in its chest after it heard the words of the man. It immediately answered, "My name is Long Fan. I used to be just another man that obediently played games in his house, but I was suddenly intruded by a Snake Demon's spiritual sense during its descent. Thankfully, I've amassed impressive knowledge after reading numerous novels over the years, and I've buried it up by digging a massive hole in my mind. I stopped thinking about it, until one day when it crawled out from my mind as I was driving a cab. It caused me to drive into the drain, and when I regained consciousness, I found out that the Snake Demon who temporarily snatched my body was committing evil deeds. It actually intended to eat my comatose passenger!"
"I spent a lot of effort to regain control over my body, thus saving the passenger's life. However, a lassie passing by the scene killed me as I was still in the form of a snake, and the scene itself was too misleading to allow me any chance of explanation. I only have a piece of my soul left, and that lassie used some unknown spell to tangle the Snake Demon's soul into mine. I then became this Stygian Snake, and since then, I was tasked to be her specialized investigator. She'll instruct me to explore every tunnel and every dangerous situation we come across!"
Fang Ning sympathized with the snake's experiences. However, in hindsight, something felt off. "Is that so? If I'm not mistaken, your master is the teenage girl that was eating behind us in the shop, right? She doesn't seem to be a bad person, though; wouldn't she release you after you explained to her?"
Blood once again flew from the Stygian Snakes mouth. "If she was willing to listen, is there even a need for me to come out and fight you with my life? She assumed all of my words as lies of the demon, and since my soul was tangled up with the Snake Demon's, her conviction only became stronger when she noticed the occasional slip of snake in me."
There would be no happiness in the world if there's nothing to compare it to. What a poor guy! It seemed that he had gotten the good end of the stick for himself, and even though Sir System has been fairly strict these few days, the System was just seizing his body. It still fully respected and feared Fang Ning's self-awareness, in fear that it will cause it to break. He was still living the good life, as the only thing that tired him out was his work in cultivation. Still, in this era where the future consistently darkened, it would already be great if he could avoid falling into the same fate as this poor guy himself.
Fang Ning was immensely satisfied with his surrounding after he heard what the snake said. "Ah, Comrade Xiao Hei, life is still good. You need to look to the future! At least you still have a piece of your soul, right? It's just that you've switched up the way you live. Maybe you can't play your games anymore, but you can still read novels, right? Wait. Souls?"
Something leaped into Fang Ning's mind and he immediately spoke to Sir System via telepath. "I know why the two Giant Rat Demons committed suicide!"
Initially, the System planned to disconnect the Internet for a week as punishment after Fang Ning returns to the System Cyber Cafe. He was wasting the chance for practical lessons! The System was on standby and on guard while Fang Ning was in the match.
It never expected the Host to stop fighting halfway, and even chatted to the tiny Stygian Snake about novels and what not. At this rate, the Host was blatantly ignoring its existence. It did not have much to say about the owner and slave issue, though; that stuff wouldn't increase his rate of survival anyways.
When it heard the Host's words, it immediately decided to take action after it listened to the Host's proposition.
The System asked, "Why?"
Fang Ning answered, "I remember you said that the spirit of the three Bai Sisters were no more after you killed the three Giant Rat Sisters, right? You even said that their bodies could not offer much use."
The System agreed, "Right. The True Dragon Form was too powerful, and as the vitality is just recovering, their soul wouldn't strong at all. If I hadn't deliberately controlled it and killed them directly using the True Dragon Form, of course, their spirit will be no more."
"It's correct, then," Fang Ning nodded, "No wonder the Rat Couple would commit suicide early into the battle. This explanation could finally explain all of the problems in the scenario. They didn't want to die from your True Dragon Form in an effort to preserve their spirit. Out of the 3 Giant Rat Sisters, two of them died too quickly, and when the last one was fighting with the Snake Demon, it was ambushed by us. All three of their souls perished completely."
The System finally understood, "Oh, so we shouldn't simply use the True Dragon Form now. We would face difficulties in farming monsters if they start committing suicide whenever they see us."
Fang Ning continued the conversation. "The transformation into the True Dragon Form causes too much of a ruckus. Unless we can pre-plan an ambush, we will need to need to use it as our last resort."
The System answered, "Forget it. Since we finally understood the reason, it'll be easier for us to plan a solution. Ambushes should not be used frequently as it harms our Chivalrous Virtue." 
Since the Host has made its contribution, Sir System decided to be a generous soul and let him off the hook despite his tardiness in the battle.
Then, Fang Ning once again said, "Right, could you help me check the color of this small Stygian Snake? Can you see its sin?"
Fang Ning was not so disconnected with the society that he would believe whatever he was told. If that was the case, he would've fallen into many traps long ago! According to the snake, they should show some spots of white on the display of the System Map. In contrast, if the snake was lying, then there would be red in its spot.
The System's reply was quick. "He's a yellow with a hint of white. There's not a shade of red anywhere. He is probably a snake of justice."
Fang Ning was speechless. "Even if that sounded odd, well, at least we're not being lied to."
Then, Fang Ning spoke to the Stygian Snake once again.
Fang Ning started, "Alright, my slave has confirmed that you indeed are sinless. It seems that you are indeed wronged."
Tears flooded the Stygian Snake's eyes as it nodded its head aggressively, "Thank you, hero, thank you so much. Though, could you please follow me so you could clarify that to my owner?"
Fang Ning considered that. It was rare for him to find another novel enthusiast, and it only needed a word from him. Besides, this Stygian Snake was the investigator of the Truth Department, and it was entirely possible that it knew some confidential information that might be of use to him in the future.
"Alright, I'll let my slave handle this; his name was more well known than mine in this world. I'll pass you his QQ ID[1] so we can keep in contact after this."
After Fang Ning finished his sentence, he jumped right back into the System Cyber Cafe to continue his building his dreams. Sir System would be able to handle menial tasks like this just fine.

But in my opinion, the cultivators from either the Spiritual State or other places are working diligently; there's no need for your uncle-masters to come out."
"Hmph! They keep asking us to mail them iced red tea," Zhuge Yu mumbled, "We should ask them to come here and grow vegetables."
"Yu'er! You must be respectful to your seniors!" Fairy Qing Yun said solemnly.

"Legend of the White Snake?" Fairy Qing Yun frowned and thought, "How come it has this name? Is it a story about a snake?"
She walked over curiously.
The janitors also came up with bowls of instant noodles in their hands.
Just like other TV Series, the customers could pay to watch the first four episodes on the first day. After 8 PM, two episodes would be livestreamed on the big screens.

After using up the fatigue points in Dungeon Fighter Online, they focused their energy on Final Fantasy and watched it time and time again to study the sword techniques in it.
"What's this strange thing?" a few people of th eUltimate West Realm immediately looked over.
Soon, they saw Jessica and other janitors who were standing by.
"Ugh? Are you guys from the Ultimate West Realm too?"
"Um…" Carl and others' faces twitched. "Yeah…"
"You speak the Spiritual State language so well!"
"We grew up in the Spiritual State…" Jessica's face darkened.
Of course! It's not difficult for us to learn a language!
Then, the real and fake people of the Ultimate West Realm began a friendly conversation.

After opening Super Theater, she saw the logo of the Legend of the White Snake on the interface.
Since the F1 World Championship had just ended, and the character in her main account had made a huge sword with Terra Stone, she wasn't impatient, entering the game as soon as possible. Instead, she could relax for a bit.
Together with Luo Piaoling and other people of the Ultimate West Realm, they clicked open Legend of the White Snake to watch the TV Series.
Meanwhile, Su Tianji and her disciples had also opened the new TV Series eagerly.

"Is this TV Series a story about this small snake?" Curious, Su Tianji stared at the small white snake and wondered, Will it cultivate for hundreds or thousands of years and become a big snake?
Soon, it was 1,700 years later.
"Ahh! How come this snake has grown so big?!" In the Yuanyang City Shop, Little Bell was so startled that it almost fell from its chair.
In the misty valley where thunderbolts flashed, a white demon snake bigger than a dragon winded through the mountains. She turned from a small demon to the human form, and she went down the mountain and entered the mortal world. Seeing the world from the perspective of a demon, the people in this world felt very curious.
"Ya! Guys, look! She tamed a green snake!" Jiang Xiaoyue exclaimed. Many viewers saw the battle between the white snake and the green snake, and they watched intently.
From this point on, the TV Series went on the main track and got a lot more interesting.

Things were pretty quiet in the Lounge Bar Restaurant. The Chief did notice a rather nervous gentleman with his head buried in his newspaper texting away on his cell phone in one hard and with his credit card in the other hand.
"Ah betting on the horses?" the Detective Chief Inspector thought. He was right. Old Slippery, of course, noticed this as well. This did not annoy him far from it. He produced a large mischievous smirk. "Ah, gambling is still alive and well." He thought to himself. This somewhat amused him. People were just as stupid as ever!
This was picked up by the Chief. He got into a brief telepathic conversation with the Old Ghost. Yes, people were quite happy to waste their money gambling. He then went on to report this to everyone on the committee.
Professor Hudson then started to elaborate on another important facet of Slippery Jake's character. His love of gambling. In a gentleman's club then it was highly likely that gambling was taking place.
There was a whole range of card games. These included an early form of Contract Bridge which was very popular along with Whist, Piquet, Vingt-et-un, and many others. Betting on Cock Fights, plus Bull and Bear Baiting were common This was where the Bull Pub got its name. The professor knew that the pub's car park was the site of the 'bull pit'. Plus of course the 'pit bull terrier' was breed for this job. May be not legal then but these activities were starting to lose favour during that period anyway.
Sid shot the professor a nervous look. No, there were no plans to dig up the pub's car park. Beryl would definitely fly into a rage. Sid knew that he had dug up odd bones along with clay pipes around the outside of the car park when doing some gardening there.
Given this plethora of all kinds of betting it was little wonder that huge fortunes were lost. Beau Brummell was THE figure of the Regency. He was dedicated to male fashion. As I have stated very much a rival of Old Slippery. He was a close friend of the Prince Regent. All his fortune was lost in gambling. He died destitute and needless to say died of syphilis.
The Right Hon Jake Horatio Higginbottom was more than aware of all of this. He did make some money gambling. There were stories of duels and gambling disputes in which Old Slippery summarily dispatched his opponents with a quick thrust to the heart with his trusted rapier. As a result, he often 'won' at card games. His opponents were more than fearful of the consequences of Old Slippery losing.
Consequently, he was not welcome at 'gentlemen's' card games. He saw that this whole gambling activity was a 'mug's game'. He did have a good 'eye' for money. Being a highwayman was a lot more lucrative, profitable, and straightforward.
Old Slippery was of course 'listening in'. He nodded sagely and looked across at the good professor touching the rim of his three-cornered hat. Professor Hudson reciprocated with a slight nod and a smile. Yes, things change but stay the same.
However, another matter urgently needed dealing with. That was the presence of Mr. Sellers, the Snake. Somehow he had slivered in. He was 'coiled up' ready to pounce on any juicy 'copy' that might be out there.
Old Slippery was also getting uncomfortable. The characteristic signs were starting to appear again. There was an underlying 'rattling' across the whole bar. This was started to be noticed by the customers. Sid and Beryl were also worried. They didn't want a repeat of what had happened before when Slippery had 'removed' the Russian mafia. It had taken Beryl and Sid quite a while to get all their regular customers back. Understandably they were both starting to get very anxious.
The Detective Chief Inspector had a solution. He had brought a small briefcase with him. He took out a neatly typed file stapled together on A4 paper. It was all the 'dirt' on Slippery. His liking for certain 'ladies'. There were short cuts that the Chief Inspector had taken to get this information, some of them very borderline 'legal'. Plus, some dubious sources of funding that he had employed to get the information.
For the Chief, the 'ends always justified the means.' The Detective Chief Inspector was going to play the Snake at his own game. There was also more than just a bit of surreptitious blackmail.
The Detective Chief Inspector quickly moved across to where the Snake was sitting. He placed the documents in front of Mr. Sellers. The Detective Chief Inspector quickly got down to business. He had the option of leaving the Bull Public House and never returning or these documents would be leaked to the press. The very same 'press' that had eagerly used the 'dirt' that the Snake had supplied. The Snake immediately understood the implications. His career, for what it was, would be ruined. So he capitulated and promptly left the room.
On returning to his chair, the Detective Chief Inspector noticed that Old Slippery was grinning from ear to ear. He looked directly at the Detective Chief Inspector. He knew what had taken place. He admired the way the Detective Chief Inspector had dealt with this. He was a 'chip off the old block' alright, which technically he was, being a direct descendant of the highwayman. Maybe the ghost was aware of the mayhem he would create if he had put his icy cold hands around the neck of the Snake. Possibly he did not want to upset the trade in The Bull, as Sid the landlord was another one of his offspring. All this was purely conjectural. Again, however, this showed an increasing awareness within this ghost.
Old Slippery then got up from his chair, made a deep bow in the direction of the Detective Chief Inspector, twirling extravagantly, his three-cornered hat from downstairs. The Detective Chief Inspector duly reciprocated by making a deep bow.
Just about everybody in the Lounge Bar was flabbergasted by this. Diners at each table had their mouths wide open.
Then Slippery faded away. Enough work for today maybe? The Detective Chief Inspector returned to his chair. All the different religious parties were still there and were amazed by these turn of events. The Detective Chief Inspector gave a summary of who the Snake was, and what had happened before.
The consensus among all the different religious representatives was that there was a definite consciousness there. The ghost could clearly 'read' what was going on. He had a very subtle and sophisticated understanding of events. This was not the 'cardboard cut out' ghost of Hollywood. Yes, all of that was proceeding very nicely as well.
Sandra and Kevin, as usual, had made a very good recording of the entire event. Copies would be sent to all the interested parties at the meeting with the strict understanding that this would not leak out to the press. Hopefully, all these different religious bodies would abide by this, which they all did.

A Strange Ghostly Tale Of Slippery Jake The Regency Rake.

This story is based in a London Pub from a few years ago. Slippery Jake returns to haunt the Bull Public House.
He is not your usual ghost by any means. He can be very ruthless but he is also very protective towards the pub.
His is a journey of redemption for the heinous he has committed.

"Wow I hope it won't bite me", Georgina asks the tour guide. She wanted to carry the snake and overcome her fears. The last time she tried to do this a few years back. She dropped the snake and run away. It was such an embarrassing moment for her then and she wouldn't want the scenario to repeat itself. Especially when her husband was watching. 
"No madam. All its teeth are removed. It has no poison. You shouldn't worry about that", he explains and her fear subdues. Ryan assures her too that there was nothing to worry about since he held the snake. This was the perfect reason that he was truly a gentleman. 
"Aaaah...", She breaths in and out. Then again before holding the snake and placing it on her neck. Goosebumps covered her body as she tried to stand still. She was frightened but still pushed herself to do this. She couldn't let fear control her. 
"Wow!! You have done it my queen", Ryan applauds her. He was pleased that she faced one of her fears. It was another level of bravery. 
"I almost peed on myself", she chuckles softly leaning on him. He starts touching her behind.
"What are you doing", she was surprised. He was caressing her that way in public shamelessly. In front of their tour guide. 
"I wanted to see if you peed on yourself", he whispers. She cracked up so hard that she nearly fell. He just had to do that in public.
"You are so funny. I mean ", she continues to crack up. 
"Are you Mr. Diamond ", the tour guide finally asks the question that he was really anticipating to ask. He didn't want another it to pass before he could talk to this wealthy guy properly without pretending to not know him. 
"Yes it's me", Ryan acknowledges.
"Oooh wow you really inspire me a lot", he informs him.
"Thank you", Ryan slightly grins at him.
"Hubby can we rest a bit", Georgina pleads. She was holding him the whole time they were walking. He wasn't surprised cause this was so her. She didn't have the kind of energy like him. But she was always becoming tired so easily. 
They had to go to the game sections since time had reached for the games to start. Ryan thought it was still a silly idea. He just wanted to see the type of activities she was referring to. Georgina was so eager to start the games.
"So what's this activity we are doing", he asks as they walked through the forest.
"It's a surprise", she says not wanting to give him all the details. She loved surprising him especially when he had no clue of what was awaiting him.
He sighs and keeps quiet. He knew he couldn't make her speak since she mentioned it was a surprise. 
They came across a place in the forest that was way different from other places. It wasn't so bushy like the rest part of the forest. The tour guide excused himself and went back to the park. 
"Wow!!! What are all these", Ryan asks thrilled with what he was saying. There were a zip liner, archery, mountain biking, and paintballing. As he was staring at the various pieces of devices needed to play the games. He was so eager to start.
"Where will we start", he raises a question.
"Your now interested huuh...", She chuckles softly.
"Yeah, I am". 
"Let's start with paintballing", she suggests and he agrees without any hesitation. 
Georgina approaches one of the game coordinators. They are then given their protective suits to wear. They head to the bathroom and change quickly since the game was about to start. They quickly rush to the field area where the game was being played. 
"Hi, guys... This game isn't hard at all. All you need to do is pay attention and focus on achieving your goal. So today we will be playing the zombie hunt paintball game. Five of our staff, who are so experienced in this game will be the zombies", he explains and they all pay attention. The losers we're to pay and who would want that. 
Ryan and Georgina were both in different groups. They didn't want to be in same team, since it wouldn't be that fun. 
"Yaaay...", Georgina jumps excitedly after conquering one of the zombies. 
"You should be more keen man or else we will all fail', Ryan advises a guy in his team. He is now advising them was he planning to be the coach if one is needed. 
"You ain't my couch man", the guy informs him rudely and Ryan leaves him. He didn't want to argue with that guy. 
The game went quite well. Ryan's group won and he was so excited after the victory. One would think he won the world cup. 
"Wify you lost", he laughs while approaching Georgina. She pouts after he does this and he just had to boast about it. 
"No, we lost. I wasn't alone in the game", she states. They head towards the zip liner area. Georgina always loved zip lining. She finds it scary but amusing at the same time. There was no way that she would leave this place without zip lining. 
"I love this so much", Ryan states excitedly it was his first time doing this. He didn't fear doing it at all. 
"Aaaaaaaa!!!! Damn, I love this", Ryan yells as he zip lines. That feeling was amazing, no coward would agree to do this. 
After he was done, he lays down to relax. 
"Wow... that was an incredibly horrifying experience", Georgina says as she joins Ryan. She lays her head which rested on his thighs. He starts to caress her hair. It was so messy but still, she was really beautiful. 
"I loved your surprise. It's more than I imagined", he informs her glad that she had come up with this idea. It turned better than he imagined.
"Wow really...", She wasn't expecting him to say that. She thought he would pout and claim that it was the most borrying day ever. But here, he is so excited about everything they did and their games in the forest. 
"This is the best honeymoonn ever", he informed her. This is what she wanted to hear that he was enjoying every bit of their stay at the beach house. That he was not sad or angry like before they visited this park. That he was happy to be spending this moment with only her. That he was happy that she was finally his and that they would spend the rest of their lives together.


Love is like an ocean,the deeper you go, the deeper it will leave an impact on you. It leaves you all blend and brew, that is the power of love for you. It makes one crazy and ready to do anything for the one they truly love. Love is like a pure emotionso strong with time and hard to let go. Love is a beautiful thing. "Pppssss.....", he rolled his eyes staring over at her. His hair was black and his eyes were dark brown, with stunning brows. His skin was tanned. He had prominent cheekbones and a well-defined chin and nose.

Muscles rippled across every part of his arms and body. He was obviously amongst the cutest guys on campus.

" Damn it you're so sexy baby girl ", he winked at her coming closer making her feel uncomfortable, internalizing her keenly.

His looks appalled her. It seemed, he was seeing through her body.

"Excuse me", she raised a brow at him angry with his naughty behavior. 

"I love that ass. Damn it... you so hot ", he spanked her irritating her badly.

"Your a pervert and dick head. Leave me alone the hell...", she screamed in annoyance swatting his hands. 

"The more you resist, the more I desire you more", he winked at her licking his lips. 

"Am Aiden buh given you the permission to call me dadzy", he licked his lower lip gesturing his hand over at her. 

" The fuck this dude is a dick head", She thought out loud.

"Are you not telling me your name....", he gave her that waiting look.

"I am not interested in knowing you...", she rolled her eyes staring at him disgustedly with so much fury in her eyes. If looks could kill... Aiden would be a dead man.

"Oouuch that hurts", he said walking faster blocking her way.

"Just get the hell out of my sight", Carey yelled angrily.

"Okay, baby girl you will be mine....", he assured her raising her chin using his forefinger.

Aiden is the bossy guy on campus who believes that no girl can say no to him. Due to his killer looks and prowess. He gets a shocker after he crashes on Carey who plays hard to get for him. He becomes crazy over her and ends up doing everything possible to impress her and win her love. The way he deeply fell in love with her he couldn't explain it. She was the girl he wanted and he promised to make himself the best man for her. All hell broke loose after Louis a guy who seems perfect for Carey become interested in her too. The two avowed to fight for Carey's love and affection and let the best man win.

The entrance to Garden Eden reminded Zero of a very long walk to the front of an abandoned mansion. The pathway was neat and well maintained but the atmosphere was slightly eerie as if nobody had taken the road in a long time. The plants by the side of the pathway were slightly overgrown. Still, the young doctor was not able to see any signs of withering. Perhaps, the withering of Garden Eden was merely exaggerated?
The white iron gates covered in green vines came into view after ten minutes of walking from the winged carriage station. Merlin was panting slightly from climbing up six flights of stairs and Zero slowed down for his teacher to catch his breath. The Garden Eden was the only garden in Heaven that wasn't readily available to the public but the security measures in place didn't make Zero think that the Gods were serious about keeping people out.
Surrounding the garden was a wall that was only slightly taller than Zero made from red stone bricks. The white iron gates remained steady even as Zero tried to push it open. There were no doorbells to ring or people in sight. The young doctor decided to circle the garden's perimeter and told his teacher to wait for him at the entrance.
Merlin made himself cosy by sitting on a bench by the pathway not too far from the gate so that Zero knew where to look for him when he returned. Cooped up in Arabesque for way too long, the wizard was unable to recall if there was another way into Garden Eden. He only knew that they had to talk to the snake who guarded the Tree of Knowledge but the magician simply couldn't remember the method of getting that elusive snake out of hiding.
Zero didn't dally and ran off in one direction to circle the garden's walls. In fact, Zero tried to jump and take a peek inside of the garden. However, no matter how high Zero jumped, all he would see is a brick wall. The young doctor even used jump boost magic to help him get as high as twenty metres into the air but he wasn't able to see what went on inside. It was obvious that there was a very strong illusion barrier.
The next thing the teen decided to try was climbing the walls. Sadly, the bricks were very smooth and didn't allow Zero to climb it. Since jumping over them and flying over them were impossible with the illusion, the teen took a short break to think. He circled the perimeters twice and came back to the entrance. Merlin looked deep in thoughts so Zero didn't want to disturb his teacher.
There didn't seem to be any other ways into Garden Eden apart from the main gate. Zero tried calling out to the guardian or for anyone's attention to help them open the gates but nobody responded. Zero knew that there was a snake guarding the area. He tried to remember what he learnt about snakes. Hua Tuo mentioned that sulphur can help to repel snakes and make them irritated. However, nobody told him what snakes could be attracted to.
Zero sighed in frustration. How could he make a trap to lure the snake out if he didn't have a bait?
Merlin shivered suddenly while Zero was talking to himself, trying to think of a good plan to lure the guardian out. How could he have forgotten who the guardian of Garden Eden was?
The snake's name was Ouroboros and was known to be very sly. Its favourite food is the fruits of the Tree of Knowledge. Over the years, that snake had eaten many fruits from the tree and became a deity of its own, proclaiming itself the guardian of the Tree of Knowledge. Not wanting to disturb the peace, Gaia sealed Garden Eden away from the general public.
Ouroboros was a very possessive snake who would do everything in its power to chase visitors away. It didn't like anyone touching the Tree of Knowledge and was very smart. He managed to trick even demigods into their demise when they tried to steal a fruit from the Tree of Knowledge. Ouroboros was also infamous for his games. The snake had eaten many poor souls who gambled their lives away after being forced to play games with it.
"Zero," Merlin called out to his student. "I think we should leave for today. The guardian might be asleep. Let's come back another day."
In truth, Ouroboros was already watching them ever since they set foot on the pathway. Merlin just didn't want his student to be caught in the snake's trap. He wanted to be better prepared and come back the next time. Merlin wanted to give his student a protection charm of some sort that would allow him to escape the sly snake.
Unfortunately, luck wasn't on Merlin's side. The guardian made its appearance when it knew that Merlin wanted to retreat. Ouroboros wasn't going to pass up the chance to ensnare two very powerful fertilisers for his precious tree. The Tree of Knowledge wasn't in a very good state and the mana Ouroboros managed to secure simply wasn't enough to save it. Ever since Gaia sealed the place, the guardian snake had no chance of securing fertilisers. This is the first time in centuries that anyone was allowed to come close. It wasn't going to let them leave so easily.
"Leaving so soon?" it slithered over the wall and down the iron gates to rub noses with Zero who was frozen.
Merlin felt his blood pressure rise as the dangerous snake touched his student. He didn't know what kind of snake Ouroboros was but if Zero became poisoned from that, he doubted that even Hua Tuo could rescue the teen.
"Hello," Zero greeted, quite startled by the friendly greeting. The snake felt cold against his nose when they brushed earlier. He was too busy talking to Mii and Wii that he didn't notice the snake. They were scanning the area using Mii's map function when Ouroboros appeared. According to Mii, someone had been following him for a while now ever since he started exploring the perimeters.
Ouroboros was amused. Unlike the wizard, this teen didn't emit a scent of fear. Merlin tried to get to Zero and put some distance between the snake and his student but was immediately tangled by some vines that Ouroboros controlled. The wizard was silenced quickly much to Zero's alarm.
"Teacher!"
Zero wanted to run over to blast those vines away but the guardian was faster, tangling itself on Zero's body, causing the teen to fall into a heap on the ground.
The young doctor landed with an oof and felt the air leave his lungs. Ouroboros had a very long body and Zero didn't know how long the snake really was. However, he couldn't move any of his limbs with the fat snake coiling around them so tightly.
"Relax, I won't harm any of you. It's just that it has been such a long time since I last saw visitors that I want to spend more time talking. If you promise to play with me, I will release you."
Zero didn't mind accompanying the snake but he was more worried about Merlin. "It's fine if you don't release me. However, you have to release my teacher."
Ouroboros didn't like the tone of Zero's voice. He didn't take orders from anyone. Who was this rude brat? Also, how did he enter the restricted zone? Ouroboros could understand Merlin doing it. However, he never heard of any powerful individual who looked like a human teenager going by the name of Zero. He might not be up to date with the things happening outside of the garden but the Tree of Knowledge should have some sort of information pertaining to someone as powerful as Zero.
Even now, the guardian knew that he could be ripped to ribbons if Zero truly wanted it. The teen was merely humouring him while keeping his true strength under lock. Ouroboros weighed his options. Merlin wouldn't remain so pliant if he was released. Ensnaring the wizard was something he managed to pull off due to the factor of surprise. If he released Merlin now, Ouroboros would definitely suffer his wrath.
"I want to make a deal," he said and Zero listened. "If I release your teacher, I want him to leave this place. You and I can have a chat without interruptions. After all, you must be here because of the Tree of Knowledge."
The young doctor smiled serenely and agreed. Merlin was released and wanted to rush over to blast that fat cunning serpent but was stopped by his students piercing stare. Reluctantly, Merlin retreated but not before telling Zero to be back by dinner.
"I'm not joking! If you're late by even a minute, I'm calling Gaia to tell her you've become snake food!"
Zero laughed airily at that and assured his teacher that everything would be fine. Merlin left with heavy steps and a heavier heart. He turned back a few times to check on Zero who was still sprawled on the ground until he could see no more. Zero didn't even struggle in Ouroboros' grasp and waited patiently until they were truly alone.
"Can you get off me now? I think I'm going to be crushed..." Zero wheezed. Although he wasn't hurt, having a heavy snake pressed on his chest made it hard to breathe, not that he needed to breathe. The pressure was just highly uncomfortable and the position he was in didn't help.
Ouroboros got off without an apology and let the teen get back onto his feet.
"Merlin's not here now. I think we can talk? Gaia told me that there was a keeper for this garden. That's you, right?"
Ouroboros flicked its tongue. "That's right. You should also have heard the rumours about me if that was the case. Aren't you afraid?"
Zero laughed. "Do you want me to be afraid of you?"
The snaked smiled. "Answering a question with a question? Interesting. We can do this. How about a game and then I'll answer your questions if you win."
Zero felt his spirit burn at the mention of games. He loved playing games. As a competitive person with Gugu and Jevy's memories, he couldn't afford to lose. Gambling was his Divine Fragment's speciality.
Ouroboros chuckled. This young one might be talented but he sure was naive. If you could fool this teen into agreeing to sell him his soul, it would be so easy to take this boy into the garden and make him the fertiliser for his precious Tree of Knowledge.
"Let's make things more interesting by making bets. If I win, you will not resist any magic I cast on you. After all, nobody who enters Garden Eden leaves alive or remembers it."
Zero agreed in a heartbeat. "If I win, you will let me into Garden Eden to check out the situation and give me control over the garden to do whatever I want with it, including the Tree of Knowledge."
Ouroboros bristled at that and hissed menacingly. Zero still remained calm with a slight smile on his lips. The nerve of that brat to demand such a thing from him... as the arrogant guardian of this garden, Ouroboros decided to raise the stakes. He agreed to it and proposed a simple game that was going to be obviously rigged.
It didn't matter what options Zero chose, he was going to lose and become fertiliser.
"Let's play a game called two truths and one lie. I will tell you three facts. Of these three facts, you need to choose the one that is a lie and bring up evidence for it. Lucky guesses don't count."
Zero sighed. Did the snake really think he was that foolish as to not know what the intention was? Still, the young doctor agreed. He had an ace up his sleeve anyway.
"Alright. As long as I have the evidence, you will concede defeat, right?"
Ouroboros grinned. "Exactly. Shall we begin?"
Zero was given three facts and raised a brow. Did the snake not even bother to hide his intentions at all? It was too obvious which ones were lies.
1. The Tree of Knowledge is at least as old as Gaia if not more
2. The Tree of Knowledge can bear 118 different fruits
3. The Tree of Knowledge is the only tree in Heaven that doesn't wither without water
"So all I have to do is identify the lie hidden within these statements?" Zero asked.
Ouroboros grinned. "Too difficult?"
Zero laughed. "Not at all. However, I think you need to be a little clear on the definition of a lie. If two half-truths make a lie then I guess this is alright. However, if it doesn't then I would like you to make some revisions."
The snake didn't move for a long time and stared at Zero with its eyes. Was this brat actually really smart and simply hiding it? How could he tell?
"Simple," Zero answered the guardian's unasked question. "I have something that you don't. Why don't you use your appraisal on me? After eating so many fruits from the tree of Knowledge, surely you would have attained a certain level of intelligence capable of doing so."
Ouroboros did that and nearly fainted. The number of blessings and skills this child had was terrifying to even a deity like him. This brat was as powerful if not more powerful than the wizard he let go earlier. The true monster between those two wasn't the old man but the young teen. How unexpected!
Knowing that he was caught in a trap, the snake tried to flee but Zero was faster. He caught Ouroboros in hand and added sealing spells so that the snake couldn't try anything funny.
"Let me explain. The second fact is the truth. The Tree of Knowledge must have been able to produce that many fruits over the years. However, the first fact and the third fact are tricky. They aren't necessarily lies but the way you phrased them made their meanings ambiguous. I know for a fact that the third statement isn't true because there can be fake trees that do not need water and wouldn't wither without it. If you require evidence, I could simply create on now to make that statement a lie. As for the first fact, because you are unsure about how the tree came about, you simply used Gaia's unknown age as a comparison and made a gamble that it could be older. However, I know for a fact that this isn't true. The Tree of Knowledge that you are guarding right now has actually died once."
Ouroboros' eyes widened at that claim. This was something that not even the Great Gods knew about. Indeed, the Tree of Knowledge had died once when the plane broke apart. If he didn't fuse his spirit with the tree, it would never have lived till now.
Just how did Zero find out?!

It becomes quite for a second and a strong suction forces pull him down. 


(" This is called soul transmigration just like in some novels I read. Am I gonna get a powerful system? I'm gonna be rendered as trash? my fiance will break me up? Pak! A thick sound produced when that young man slap Games face to wake him up. The timing is good it also alleviates his suffering.


"Hey, Red Sky! you're disturbing our sleep again! Later it is our offering rites to invoke our battle spirits!" Complain about this young man.


Games eyes are still close, (" Red Sky? that's the name of the previous owner of this body. Poor guy, he died for an unknown reason, Sky? f*ck! I hate to hear that name." ) When he opens his eyes he was shocked to see the face of his fellow disciple!

"Ahh!" The confidence of Fang was shattered and he quickly hugged Games. "Brother Red Gem! You're so mean! Even you were bullying me now"

"Damn! You Fang! get off of me! If you get too close to me it might swap our face!" Said Games while pushing Fang away.

"Well, it's in favor of you if that happens, with this looks every girl would die to meet me." 

"No brother Fang, they die to meet you just to kill you, with that face of yours... huh!?"

Games receives three smash to his head. "Damn you! I guess I should meditate then."

Every one was exclaimed to see that everyone got contacted by their martial spirit. "Oh! That's my son who had a Stone Arm Ape Martial Spirit! That's awesome! " 

" Humph! Just look the dazzling Flame Bird Martial Spirit of my daughter " Someone exclaimed.

The people look to see it! "Wow so gorgeous! That uniform is she from Flamingo Clan of Amber Village?

However, everyone is disgusted to see the martial spirit of Fang. "What's that Martial Spirit? It looks scary but ugly!. Huh!?" 

Bang! That person was overthrown from his spot and when he tried to see and retaliate, it saw the killing intent of that person. Then its head pulls down like a turtle, "I'm sorry! Please pardon this lowly being. I did not know that he is from the Barracuda Clan of River Side Village."

"Humph! I remember your face you damn! Turtle Clan! Only based on looks but not on power! That's why your clan is the lowest and yet you've got a spirit to criticize!" That man is the father of Fang, Mid Fang, and the current patriarch.

 "Come, come, come, Chu Xian. Let's play Sic Bo!" Gu Li looked over at a nearby table and called out excitedly. This kind of gambling was something he had not done to many times either.
Chu Xian nodded carelessly. After watching the game for a couple of turns, he placed down a ten thousand rmb chip on Big; Gu Li hesitated a moment before following Chu Xian.
"Yes! We won!"
Gu Li pumped his fist excitedly, and Chu Xian also felt happy. Although the money they won was not very important in their eyes, they still enjoyed the victory.
After playing casually for a few more rounds, he won some and lost some, ending up basically even.
"I'm going to go play some Zha Jin Hua and Baccarat!" Some twenty minutes later, Chu Xian looked at his remaining chips. He had a little over thirty when he turned to Gu Li and the others and spoke to them.
"Okay!" They nodded at Chu Xian.
"Let's earn back the maintenance fee!" Chu Xian laughed, and sat down at the Zha Jin Hua table.
In games like Zha Jin Hua, Baccarat, and Black Jack, the god's eye view basically ensured his total victory.
He could see his opponent's hands so he did not lose no matter how unlucky he was.
God's eye view was the greatest cheat tool in many gambling games, but he did not have any plan on using this to rake in cash from casinos.
Casinos were never owned by simple people, and if you really kept winning, people would come find trouble. If the house always gave you the lowest value cards, would having a god's eye view still help?
"But I should still be able to win a couple million without any trouble." Chu Xian laughed and sat down confidently.

But to his surprise, the middle aged Thai man and another young man sat near him, the two arguing in indistinct voices, the middle-aged man shaking his head impatiently.
Chu Xian had watched the middle-aged Thai man lose more than two million just now, but he did not know how long the man had been playing for before then.
"Ai!" The young man sat backwards heavily, his face pained as he talked incessantly.
Finally, the middle-aged man stood back up, took out a bank card and walked over to the chips stand.
The young man darted upwards, calling out loudly after him, but the middle-aged man pushed him away. The young man teetered and fell back towards the sofa.
As he watched the young man falling towards, Chu Xian's face turned wry as he laughed inwardly. "This story is not right, it should be a girl falling towards me as I open my arms to catch her, leading towards a romantic encounter."
But even if it was not a beautiful girl falling towards him, Chu Xian still reach out to catch the man. As he grabbed him, he was surprised by the marks on the young man's arms.
"Kopkoon, kopkoon!" The young man said hurriedly, but when he saw Chu Xian's confused expression he ventured tentatively, "Thank you!"
"En?" Chu Xian understood his Chinese phrase, and the man's accent was perfect as well. He looked at the young man with some confusion: "You speak Chinese?"
"Yes, my grandmother on my mother's side is Chinese, and I just finished my studies in China. Hello, thank you. My Chinese name is Li Long!" Li Long nodded towards her.
"Oh, nice to meet you. I am Chu Xian. What's the occasion for you to come out here?" Chu Xian nodded and asked; he had already noticed that Li Long was rather down.
"I'm here with my father." Li Long laughed bitterly, turning his head to look at the middle-aged man who had already sat back down at a table, his expression showing his disappointment.
Chu Xian saw the emotions play over the young man's face and made a guess, asking tentatively, "Your father is addicted to gambling?"
"Yes." Li Long let out a heavy weapon. "The money he earns every year is thrown into the casino. This time I wanted to come here to stop him, but I haven't been able to."
Laughing bitterly, Li Long looked up and gave Chu Xian a kind reminder. "Brother, you'd best not gamble. This kind of thing will destroy you!"
Chu Xian nodded and smiled, turning his gaze to the young man's arms. "Where did you get so many snake bites on your arms?"
"Hehe, you mean these?" Li Long laughed, pulling up his sleeves. "These scars are from the snakes that I caught. All the bites have left these!"
"Sea snake?" Chu Xian nodded as he thought. "Do you mean from the Gulf of Thailand?"
"En, I live in a city near the Gulf of Thailand." Li Long nodded. "My father runs a sea snake company, so I often follow him into the sea to catch sea snakes, and any carelessness will leave these scars!"
"Oh, really? Are there a lot of sea snakes in the Gulf of Thailand?" Chu Xian asked with great interest.
"Many." Li Long nodded. "There are a lot of them in the gulf, and in these two years the ingredients used for sea snake antivenoms are growing more expensive, and so even though we wear protective gear every time, you can still die if you are careless, and the gear also makes it more difficult to catch the snake."
"Actually, most sea snakes live at the bottom of the ocean, but we only catch the ones in the upper layers of the water. We use some equipment to detect the fish. There are many sea snakes at the bottom layer, but if we want to catch them we will need to buy all sorts of gear and it is not efficient or worth it at all. Our entire company can only catch barely over a thousand snakes in a number of months, but my father spends all the money gambling!"
Li Long sighed and shook his head as he turned his gaze towards his father.
Chu Xian nodded. The last time that he had called David, David had told him that when he was in Vietnam with an English friend, he had heard that someone had died from a snake bite.
This happened even when the people wore the best gear, someone could still die. You could imagine how dangerous it was to catch sea snakes.
"That's right, do you have any Blue Banded sea snakes in your city? Ones that are over five years old?" Chu Xian tentatively. 
 David's friend had spent millions of rmb searching for this particular sea snake.
"No!" Li Long was stunned, and very quickly asked." Do you know a lot about sea snakes?"
"No, but my friend's father is very ill and needs the venom from a Hydrophis Cyanocinctus!"
"The annulated sea snake is extremely rare. I have only seen them four or five times in my entire life, and in recent years especially I haven't seen any. But there must be some in the sea!" Li Long explained.

It took only two days for Jax to arrive at the outskirts of NGL. He dropped Mikasa in one of the towns in the outskirts, outside of the NGL.

-Jax POV-


Now… I can finally meet some monsters of my caliber. Meruem… I am coming for you.

 
But still, I decided to do this journey by foot instead of relying on my big flying dragon. After all, currently I am in no rush. I just casually towards the border. Since I am in no rush I looked at the creatures around, after all I have never really been to NGL. 


It wasn't as interesting as I thought it would be. Also I passed all over the border patrol, I didn't want to bother with a check up from them. After all, since the government in NGL will collapse soon, there is no need to follow the rules on here, they won't make problems for me.

I used EN to spread my Nen in a circular motion to check every movement around three kilometers. 


Hmmm… no chimera ant around… maybe in a little more time they will start to truly develop. They will be a great source of Exp for me… at least until the King is born. That guy will be the biggest prey that I have ever hunted.

Suddenly I sense a snake that tries to jump me. But I just give it a look and…


*burst*


It bursts like a watermelon. Aren't animals supposed to have a survival instinct or something?

I just look at the snake again and narrow my eyes using GYO… hmmm… it doesn't have Nen so being some type of spying animal or something like that is very unlikely. 

But then again, snake charmers exist in this world, they don't even need to use Nen to charm snakes. Also there seems to be no camera on the snake so even technological spying seems unlikely. It must be just another normal snake.

*sigh* Guess I should wait a little more then.


I crouch down and dig my hand underground… and I start digging even more until there is a hole about my size.

I just jump down and cover it up… 

This is the best possible way to survive surprise attacks. You can feel the vibrations in case of an attack from an underground enemy and even above ground, when someone is close the vibrations wake me up too. Having senses to this level is truly amazing.

Also I better be careful now, after all, no matter how much raw power I have. All that is needed is just a complex ability to lock me up till starvation or to somehow kill me. Nen battles aren't all about raw power, but more about finesse and creativity, my Hatsu allows me to absolutely control everything about myself. It's not overly complex on the outside. But I also needed to have medical knowledge and much more in order for my Nen to understand what I wanted from it.

-Six Hours Later-


After six hours of sleep I immediately wake up and flexibly I dig above ground. 

EN… Hmmm… nothing yet… though there seems to… ohhh there is actually a Chimera Ant, two kilometres from here, and it is flying, it seems to be carrying a human. So… it has started then. That is good. Now I need to find their nest and wait for them to learn Nen and develop some more, then I can start to massacre them.


Well I better follow this Ant, I better have a place close to the nest so they don't start moving away without me knowing. 


… 


As I follow the flying ant, I arrive at a sh*tty looking place… it looks like an ant nest, just with the ants needing bigger accommodations due to them being bigger, so the nest is also big.

Damn, it seems like, once an ant always an ant. But really though, it is stupid of me expecting any more from them. What they really have is luck, if the queen landed anywhere else except NGL… she would have been killed, and even her soldiers would have been easily obliterated.


 But it was lucky of them to land on NGL, but also at the same time… I pity the ants (not really) they will never be able to catch up to humanity no matter what. Even the King who they see as their messiah is useless, just one Rose Nuclear Bomb is enough to kill him, and really any country worth it's name has a bomb like that, they are REALLY cheap to produce too. I mean even in the worst case scenario I don't see humanity losing at all, sure we would have to sacrifice maybe millions of people but humans make choices like that easily. Ants think that their idea of structure and order, the way that ants will always follow the king, and the king always being worthy of his title will win against humanity's individualism. They think that humanity is as strong as their weakest link in the chain.

 HOW STUPID OF THEM… they don't understand humanity's evil, they underestimate humanity… we are a race of psychopaths. The ants can never match our malice.

Hmm… I better secure this land and make it better for me to fight in.

-One Month Later-


Just like this one month passed, I must say, I now want Killua's Nen ability, maybe then I can charge the games I have been playing. I have been running out of batteries to use lately, might actually have to go back and get some.


I mean…

Suddenly... before I can even think about the next thing, I sense a malicious Nen appear on the nest. Due to me currently being underground and the only light source was the game that I had in my hand. For a split second I stopped… and my character in the game died.

Sh*t… I lost that game… I have to start from the beginning now.

But I decide to put the game back in my pocket. 

*sigh* I have had enough fun for today… also it seems like Pitou was just born.

*yawn* So tonight is the time Kite 'dies'... I guess I better watch some of that. It is bound to be entertaining, maybe I can even copy Kite's ability, after all having another rebirth chance doesn't sound so bad.

A couple of hours later I just follow Gon, Killua and Kite, walking around and talking, they seem to be going towards the Chimera Ant nest. I stay at a constant 46 meters away, just enough to be out of Kite's EN. Not that he could sense me even if otherwise, but I don't really need to get any close, I have a pretty good eyesight.


Hmm… I can see that Pitou has sensed Kite, her EN, really is something. Able to sense almost two kilometres away. Pitou jumps from the nest and… there goes Kite's arm is flying. 

Gon is knocked out by Killua and they start running away as expected, I mean that is the best possible decision for them. After all, they would have only gotten in the way.

Now let's see if my estimate for stats is correct. A level 9 stat is around Royal Guard level. So this should be correct, till now I have determined that Pitou has a level nine in Agility, especially due to her fast jump that can actually break through speed of sound for a split second.

A/N: The MC isn't interfering with the plot just yet, though later he will change quite some things. He is waiting for the King to be born… Why is he doing that?… well now… that would be a spoiler

P.S: We can see that the MC also likes games quite a bit, after all it is to be expected, his HATSU (Nen Special Ability) is designed after a game. And since he is so strong, when he has nothing to do he usually plays games… with an RPG theme.😏

A childish pout formed on her face as she folded her arms. The wind blew as it ruffled her hair, causing a mean frown to form.
"She's standing right in front of you."

"Oh, really?"

He was more than ready to get this over with. Shame on him for thinking he could ever get out of the Biedermann's family drama.  
He honestly felt that they had so much drama that they could put the other reality series out of business.
A nudge in his side was enough for him to glance down on Terror. That snake had it out for him from the moment they first met.  
He closed his eyes as he held back a shudder as he tried to forget the unfortunate series of events he's been true.
"What?"
The snake man wore this pale expression, his lips acquired a blue tint as they shivered.
"Hey snake man, what's wrong?"
This action of Elliot's didn't go unnoticed by Mrs. Biedermann. She wore a proud smirk as she waited for her damage to happen.
"I-I… D-Dart."
Choked the snake man, trying to move his hands towards the sting in the side of his neck.  
'Why does everything seem to happen to me? If I'm not dead by the times this wears off, then I'll write a novel about my life with the Biedermanns. It's definitely a story worth telling.'
"Hey snake man? What are you saying? Look, that old hag is staring at me like she's won something! I don't have the time for your games."
'Oh, wow. I'm trying to tell him something and I'm the one that gets hissed at. Pretty cool, right?'
"D-Dart… D-Dart in feck."
Elliot frowned once more than he gave the snake man a nasty glare.
"What the hell did you just call me?"
His voice boomed from where he stood across the woman before him. It was filled with a lot of rages and hurt, exactly the sound she wanted to hear.
She sighed in pleasure as the air got heavy because of the vast amount of unsaid words between the three. And that didn't include her.
"It's playing out exactly as how we've, well, I've planned."
"Hey, old hag! What are you over there muttering about?"
Ignoring his offensive question, she glanced at her watch for the time. Not that it was of any help, because the water flashed against her watch, damaging it.
"Shit! How am I going to call him to update him on our current situation? I fear he's going to do something impulsive if not updated in time."
Her fierce eyes traveled towards the two idiots before her. Hands ran through her hair as she contemplated her decision.
'Should I ask them for their phone? No, they'll use it to their advantage if I do. And that's the last thing I wanted., but if I don't Killian would do something stupid that may hinder us from completing the plan.'
All of that thinking of hers was taking a visible toll on her. It was clear that she wasn't the type of person to pondering on things for such a long time.
"Old hag, didn't you hear me ask you a question just now? Or are you just dumb? Honestly, I'm choosing the latter, you seem to have no intelligence at all."
She sighed, normally she would've entertained his argument, but now she hardly has the time to focus on his childish games, seeing that she's trying her very best to contact her son.
"Maybe he's right, maybe I'm dumb. I can't even think of a way to contact Killian, much less kidnapping these babies."
Her eyes traveled over the sleeping babies beside her. They were cute, too bad they had Victoria's looks.
A great deal of jealousy ran throughout her body at the name. It shocked her when Killian had found out about her actual identity, all he did was commend her at a job well done.
And when she, his mother, had changed her name for a trip, he cursed her out, saying that she acted like those sluts who did something wrong and just ran away from the trouble.
"It seems he respects me more than Victoria, seeing his reaction to both scenarios."
Elliot was getting frustrated with Mrs. Biedermann's lack of answers.
It felt as if she was purposefully ignoring his questions. Who was she to do that? Surely not the Queen, well, at least anymore.
"Excuse me, ma'am, I believe I've called for your attention one too many times."
She looked at him, her eyes showing a bit of confusion.
Elliot smiled, seeing that he has finally got her attention.
"Good, now that I've got your attention. I'm going to need you to answer me as to where the real Victoria is."
"And why should I help, you could be using me for all I know?"
Elliot released a loud laugh as he stared at her, tears running from his eyes as he did.
"You know it pains me to see that you believed you were getting something out of this arrangement."

A vile laugh exploded from her throat, causing Terror to hiss defiantly.
"You must be a fool to think I'll ever listen to you! That too getting no money!"
"Well, a fool I am, but do note. This outburst of yours will not excuse you from what my mind has already assigned you to."
The snake man couldn't help but shy away from Elliot. The aura Elliot secreted made him fear what exactly he was capable of.
He was like a wolf in sheep's clothing, wearing the thickest, fluffiest one he could get his hands on.
"And what exactly are you going to do if I refuse?"
A sinister smirk crept upon his expression as his eyes darken.
"That's easy, and an old hag like you should know."
