Chapter no. 61

(Qin Zetian's POV)

A cup of black tea was delivered in my office, and without so much fuss I dropped a spoon of honey and ten slices of lemon. This is actually an activated charcoal. The use of charcoal started way back 460 to 370 B.C. the time of Hippocrates, well if I remembered correctly. It is a simple remedy for different health problems comparable to an ancient way of treating many common diseases that are known to mankind.

Charcoal therapy has no side effects, no known contradictions, and no danger of overdose so it is good for the body. An activated charcoal can cure; indigestion, inflammation of bowel, inflammation of eyes, inflammation and bruises, boils, animal/ insect and snake bites, typhoid fever, on skin ulcers, wounds, face/ eyes/ ears & extremities, and cancer. It also have blood cleansing properties and is widely used to treat poisoning. 

Since the empress was heavily poisoned I was forced to create anecdotal pills made out of the finest activated charcoal pills with supporting constituents that exterminates impurities in the cells completely; the hardest thing was procreating a medicine that will target both somatic cells and gametes oh but I am not called 'the president's prodigious daughter' for no reason. 

The meeting and the closing of my restaurant might take long, so let me talk about 'Activated Charcoal'. In a deeper sense, cancer is not known here in ancient times, but some of the highly skilled doctors knew a portion of them and wrote in their journals which actually became famous for decades. But curing cancer cells is a 50-50 percent rate, and based on the medical books that I've read last night curing cancer cells in this era only kills the patient. So I will soon introduce a few batches of medicines or even build my own pharmaceutical store. 

First, activated charcoal has 21st century anecdotal records that it cures both cancer cells and disorders of body organ. These are the types of cases that it can cure; liver abscess, blood diseases (cancer), brain disorder (SLE), cancer of the colon, cancer of the liver, cancer of the thyroid gland, cancer pain, ear infection, gall bladder stones, hematoma in the brain, kidney stones, ovarian cyst, uteral endometriosis, prostate and pancreas enlargement, bone joints disorders, breast disorders, ear disorders, eye disorders, head and brain disorders, heart and blood vessel disorders, kidney and bladder disorders, liver disorders, gall bladder disorders, lung disorders, neck disorders, nose disorders, pancreas disorders, prostate gland disorders, penis and scrotum disorders, skin and muscle disorders, stomach and intestine disorders, uterus and ovary disorders, vaginal disorders and special cases. 

So in short I will get rich in this lifetime. What can I say?

In that case, I really love eating desserts and cold stuff when fall starts. 

I heard a knock on the door.

"Madam, I have gathered all the employees that we have. They are all seated and ready for the meeting. Shall we start madam?"

"Okay, let's get started with the meeting" 

With a smile on my face, I stood and walk out of my office.

He was then sucked by the storm, bringing with him was a 17-Petaflop Titan Supercomputer and Valkyria the most advanced space humanoid robot.

But the gods seemed to have different plans. Two lost souls with untimely death were fated to meet in the era of the past and change the mistakes of the history. One became the wicked and outrageous miss who was banished to the mountains as the star of destruction. While the other was the fool who was stripped from his noble title and left to rot in the forest. Despised and plotted against, will they survive the test of time?

"What are you inventing hubby?" she asked

"A cultivation booster for my wifey!" he answered

"Will we get richer?" she asked again

"Indeed the richest!" he answered and kissed her forehead gently.

Two days into my fast
 I feel numb, exhausted, dizzy, cold, but happy and proud at the same time.
Life hasn't get any better. Felling every part of my soul slowing but fast leaving my body is it time, should I go? Questioning everything, the only thing that feels right is not eating. Today I went to have dinner with my dad and we just talked and talked and I realized how much progress he has made with himself, know he has more compassion and finally realized that my mental health is more important that a stupid grade last year my stress levels and anxiety where in the clouds now they got a bit lower but I'm still working on it. In the other part my eating disorder is not going so good but he doesn't need to know that. All I want is for him to be proud of me.
Eating disorders are rarely ever portrayed accurately on tv. They aren't just skipping lunch one day or thinking a certain outfit makes you look fat. It starts simple and innocent, until one day is not. It goes from throwing up because you are to much food you got sick, to becoming addicted to the way your stomach feels emptier after getting rid of the food in it. It goes from restricting a normal amount of food, to crying because you ate twice in a day. Eating disorders are not pretty. It's grades slipping because you don't have the energy to study and you can't concentrate in class because the only thing you're thinking about is how you can get through dinner tonight without eating. It's ruining friendships because you cancel every plan you make, terrified it involves eating. Some days you'll eat and not feel guilty. Other days you'll want to tear your skin apart after one bite. It's knowing you need help but not having the first clue how to ask for it.
I just want a day where it feels like I'm not falling apart any more,
I'm tired of being such a burden to everyone every day I get more tired of living, I want it to end, and just disappear I mean my soul left my body maybe it's time.

Sorry I just came by to say, that this chapter is not meant to be offensive to anyone with any kinda disorders, disabilities, etc. I am so so sorry if this offends anyone, I just wanted to let you guys know that, I have my own disorders and even a brain development disorder, so even if I didn't have any disabilities or disorders, I would never ever make fun of the disability, and disorders people. That's would be pure out rude and not only that but it'll make me feel like a pile of dooky.

We make it to Mrs.Peterson's classroom. We walk to our assigned seat's. 

A few minutes the bell rings and Mrs.Peterson storms into the classroom she just got into an argument and lost the fight. Ya know that one ticked off look that says, 'Don't mess with me or I'll kill you'? Yeah, that look. 

She starts to write something on the board and turns around to face the rest of the class. 

"This is what you'll be doing today until the bell goes off. I expect you to at least be done with what I put on the board by the end of this class.", she says and sits down in her chair. 

I look up at the board to see what it says. It says, 'Read chapters 10-12 in your book and take notes on them.' 

I looked at the teacher with a shocked expression. I'm a slow reader and I'm sure there's more slow readers in this class and she wants us to read like 3 chapters in less than an hour and the chapters are freaking crazy long! 

"Um, excuse me, Mrs.Peterson.", I say raising my hand. She looks up at me with a blank expression on her face. 

"What Ember?!", she exclaims in anger.

"How in the fucking world do you expect us to read 3 long chapters in less an hour? I mean, for Christ sake, I'm a slow reader and I'm sure I'm not the only slow reader either!", I exclaim which made her face contort to anger in less than a second. 

She stands up grabbing a ruler and stands in front of my desk as if I did the worst crime known to man kind.

"What?! I'm just making a- Ow!", I exclaim when she hits me in the face with the ruler, which makes a loud horrid smacking sound that makes you just wanna cringe.

"Continue to disobey what I say to do then I'll send you up to Mr.Californa's Office.", she says in an angry tone. I shiver in disgust remembering the events that took place last time I was at his office.

"But I'm not a dog. I'm a human who just so happens to not be treated like a dog.", I say earning another smack with the ruler this time on my arm. 

"Ow!", I almost yell but I don't. Why do they always have to hit the scars?! I think to myself as she starts to walk away. 

"God I seriously hate people sometimes!", I exclaim what I thought I had mentally said but I guess I said it out loud which caused the class to erupt in giggles, chuckles, and laughter.

"Oh shit, I said that out loud.", I apparently said out loud again considering Dylan, Yasmine, Aaron, Blake, and Kai started to chuckle. I face palm myself and I just shut up while I'm ahead of myself and read what I can before the bell goes off. 

A few minutes before the bell rings Mrs.Peterson gets and starts handing out packets of paper. I mean it looked like with one packet there was like 20 sheets of paper to do. I groan internally once she set one in front of me. 

After she's done passing them out she goes up to the front of the classroom and starts speaking with only about one minute remaining.

"Alright class, the packets I handed you are gonna be your homework for this class. I'm gonna give you until Friday to finish it all and I expect all to be done.", she says and I groan out loud this time. 

The bell rings and I shove all my things in my bag quickly. I get up outta my seat and walk out with Blake, Aaron, Yasmine, Dylan, and Kai not to far behind me. 

We go to our next class, which is gonna be oh so fun. that last part had sarcasm dripping outta it by the way.

Well, here goes nothing. I think to myself as I step into my second period classroom. 










( At Lunchtime ) 










Finally it's Lunchtime, one of my favorite times of the day. 

Right now I'm sitting at the table with the group including Kai, we're minding our own business until I feel a tap on my shoulder I turn around to face the person only to see MacKenzie and her little lost puppy minions. 

God, what does she want?! I think to myself as I stand up. 

"Yes MacKenzie, how may I assist you?", I ask in a sarcastic tone with an eye roll. 

"Well damn, my bad I just wanted to talk.", she says I roll my eyes again. 

"What do you wanna talk about?", I ask in an impatient tone and she sighs. 

"I wanted to know why you decided to do what you did to me yesterday!", she exclaims in an angry tone. I hear someone from behind me start to get up I turn around to see Yasmine starting to get up I shake my and she sits back down with a sigh. 

"I have no idea what you mean, you're gonna have to be more specific.", I tell her and she rolls her eyes.

"You are a special kinda special, aren't you.", she asks in my of a statement.

"I mean when you practically tried to slam me through a wall. I have bruises all over my back now!", she exclaims and I roll my eyes. 

God I swear, I'm gonna be looking at the at my brain soon. I think to myself as I look at her with a bored expression 

"Like I said, mine your own damn business. That means that you should stop trying to find shit to black mail me and start minding your own business cause I promise you the next time that you pull a stunt like that.", I say taking a few intimidating steps forward standing right in front of her. 

"Let's just say, you won't like the consequences.", I say then smile an innocent smile at her. 

"I hope we've came to an understanding.", I say patting her head softly with a smile and walk back over to the table to continue eating my food. 

"Are you like some kinda Bipolar freak or something?", she asks calmly taking a step forward towards me I get back up and turn around to face her. 

"No, it's called mood swings. Ya know those things that you can be oh so happy one second then the next the smallest thing ticks you off. I mean kinda sounds like the definition of bipolar but that's just how I'd explain what my mood swings feel like, and ya know what, your face starting to really, really tick me off and I'm trying oh so hard not to punch you in it so if you don't mind, I'd love to have a peaceful rest of this Lunchtime with my friends, so goodbye, toodles, whatever the hell ya wanna call it.", I say sitting back down and ignoring whatever else she was saying. 

"So, anyways what's up guys, how's life been treating y'all while I was talking with MacKenzie?", I ask in a sickly sweet tone which makes Aaron, Dylan, Yasmine, and Blake cringe. 

"Good.", they all say in unison. 

We continue eating and talking about random things and making lame jokes. 

The bell rings not to long after and I groan since I wasn't able to eat all of my lunch. 

"Damn it, MacKenzie sucks balls majorly.", I mumble under my breath as we get up and throw away our trash. 

Ember Jones, she's what people would the outcast, well at least the outcast that gets into more trouble than anybody at her school. As usual Ember walked into school one day and got into trouble, more trouble than she normally gets in. Between an abusive and neglectful family and a physically, mentally, and verbally abusive Conversion Academy, what'll happen to Ember, especially after she meets a group of individuals who are always getting in trouble. Oh and did I mention the fact if Ember gets in trouble again she can say bye bye to her future.

Growing up as a child I always was on a skinny side, petite girl, really active and restless. when I was around 14-15 years old I gained weight. after that, I decided to starve myself. I started starving myself...I became obsessed with calories, about food, about exercising, about becoming skin and bones. I started counting calories obsessively. I still have my old diary. My whole day was about food, losing weight, and calories. I didn't have any more interests. I did not go outside, I was too afraid that friends I meet would want to go to eat, my hair, skin, and nails condition became horrible, I haven't got my period for a few months. At my lowest I was 37kg. I became sick. I felt odd, experienced anxiety, and took unnecessarily huge breaths. (Even as I type this, I am taking large breaths. I sometimes feel as though the air I breathe in doesn't meet my lungs.) I was taken to the doctor, but that of course did me no good. My body was not sick, I had a sickness of the mind. I was super underweight. my BMI was low. everyone was telling me "You need to eat more." "You're way too skinny." "That's all you're eating?" "I need to go on your diet." To which you might be thinking, "hmmm...what diet would that be?" "You are like skeleton'' and other words..The eating disorder was a horrible experience for me. eating disorders is not easy and it's not a way of life. I would never wish this on my worst enemy.

Everyone has their demons to fight against, and things aren't different for Amelia, a teenager puppet of her own mind. 

After an unfortunate accident that took away her biological parents, she was never the same, nor was her mental health; From a happy and healthy person to a twisted human wreck in the blink of an eye. 

Left with a bad love experience after her only serious relationship, she swore to herself falling in love was something that was not gonna happen anytime soon. She had enough to deal with and didn't need more burdens added on top of it all. Besides, she highly believed that feeling was not meant for her at all.

That's until a good old friend decided to prove how wrong she was about that.

So now that you know who I am and who my screwed up family is, why don't we talk about how I became anorexic. When I turned about 10 I started to realize that I wasn't very hungry no more and I didn't want to eat anything. After a week of not eating and crying, my weight started to fall little by little. Then after a month all I could think about was, "how did this happen, why is this happening to me, what's going on?" I didn't want to tell my mom and have her worried and try to put me in a nuthouse. Besides, my mom has enough on her plate and I don't know how much more she can take before she blows up. So I think I'll handle this one on my own.
A year later it only got worse for me, I wasn't in any shape to play sports, especially the ones that you have to run. I can barely keep up with the other players. And I couldn't do any clubs because I wasn't interested in any of them. This stupid what ever it is has really screwed up my life big time.
By the time I turned 12 years old I finally took on the courage to tell my mother about what was going on with her little girl, but first I decided it would be best if I did my own research first, so I could figure out and know what was going on with me first. In the research it stated, "Eating disorders are mental disorders marked by an obsession with food or body shape. They can affect anyone but are most prevalent in young women. People with anorexia nervosa may limit their food intake or compensate for it through various purging behaviors. They have intense fear of gaining weight, even when severely underweight." When I found this information, all I could do was sit there and cry, even though I had finally figured out what was wrong with me. I didn't want to have some eating disorder, I was fine with the way my body looked and I definitely at this point was not obsessed with food, as you can tell.
I couldn't help, but ask myself, "why are you doing this, what did I do to deserve this?"
The next day I decided that I would tell my mother what was going on and how I was feeling.
My mother was sitting in the living room watching t.v. when I walked in the house. As soon as I opened the door my adorable little Evie and Meko were right there to greet me, in case you didn't know Meko and Evie are the names of my puppies. Evie's an Australian Shepherd and Meko is a German Shepherd.
When I entered the living room I called for my mother.
"Hey mom, can we talk for a minute? It's really important."
"Sure honey, what's up?" she said in a concerned and sweet voice.
"I needed to tell, and I've wanted to tell you this for a while now, but here goes.... I have a d-disorder called Anorexia." the words felt like poison going down my throat.
"Wait a minute, what do you mean you're anorexic? You've been eating fine, haven't you?" She said as tears poured down her rosy cheeks. I couldn't open my mouth to say anything else.
"Well haven't you?!" This time when the words poured out of her mouth, they didn't sound angry or mad, they sounded scared and sad.
When I looked back over to her I felt warm, wet droplets of water stream down my cheeks. I didn't know what to say, all I could do was sit there, look at her, and cry.
A few minutes later my mom got up from her spot on the couch and went into the kitchen to look for her phone.
"W-what are you doing?" I asked stuttering between sobs and sniffles.
"I'm calling your father, he may not be in our lives no more, but he still has the right to know what's going on with his daughter."
The words from her mouth sounded bitter and stern. My mother and father haven't talked to each other in 3 years, I didn't know what was going to be said. As soon as I heard the haunting voice of my father, I ran up the stairs to my bedroom so I didn't have to listen to the yelling, crying, and the pain in my mother's voice. Even though I was upstairs hiding behind a closed door I could still her the sobbing of my mother as she informed my father about the pain that her little baby girl was going through.
After she got off the telephone, she asked me to come downstairs. As I walked slowly down the stairs, there standing at the bottom step was my mother, with her face red, puffy, and wet from the hurtful tears. As I came to the bottom step she opened her arms slowly and I couldn't help but run into her arms.
When we walked back into the living room my mom started to say a bunch of things that I couldn't quite make out, due to the crying.
"Your father and I have decided that it would be best if you went..." she said with a pause.
"Decided it would be best if I went where?" I asked confused.
"Have decided it would be best if I took you to the hospital around the block." She said trying to hold back her sobs and tears.
"No, mama please, d-d-don't, I can get better, I promise, just don't take me away, please." I pleaded.
"What other choice do I have honey. This is what's best for you and you know it, this is the only way that you're going to get better. You can't live like this, skinny and hungry." she said as she walked out, face all red

I hate my life,
    I want to kill myself,
    I want to cut my skin until my blood pours out and I'm nothing, but skin and bones,
    I want to fall off the face of the Earth and never be found,
    I hope that if I go and hide nobody tries to come and find me.
 In the mind of Callie Emerald Rose this is what she was thinking, as she struggles with all the eating disorders and problems and fights she goes through, throughout the story.
