It's a question I've been thinking about for the last while. It actually started about 5 chapters through the revisions- after working out the plot to a certain point, I couldn't see myself doing much more without repeating myself in some way, and began wondering how to finish it. Using the world item from the deep darkness dragon lord? Incredibly obvious if I don't want it to be harsh and abrupt. Memoirs from the eight greed kings or possibly the evil deities, with an added possibility of some of them being guild members? Practically cliche at this point. The only thing I could think of was ending it with some 1984 style absolute dictatorship... And while that would suit the 'immortal overlord', I'm not particularly fond of writing dark and depressive sh*t.

Following this train of thought, I kind of had a meltdown. Then I looked at other possibilities so I could at least ask you all for an opinion on it. My options (the ones I actually thought decent) were:

For the crossovers:

Escanor (Seven Deadly Sins) in either the universe of Once Upon a Time (Netflix series) or Hellsing Ultimate (Abridged or not idk) - reasons being the unfulfilled but true love between Merlin and Escanor coupled with his travelling while outlawed getting him to the enchanted forest, and just simply that it would be interesting due to his powers being active mainly during the day while most of the fighting being at night.

The Incredibles family in My Hero Academia - Hero's oppressed in one, quirkless in the other, and the family would be aged a bit so Jack-Jack (Now just Jack) could join the academy.

Re:Creators and (Name a series) - Honestly this is an incredible anime to experiment with and just in general... Plus the music is perfect in every way, but I digress.

Familiar of Zero and (Name a series) - Much amusement to be had with this one, especially if you have a sturdy male character that won't take kindly to being 'bullied' by their 'master'.

Arifureta and (Absolutely nothing because I don't like it) - You will never get me to do anything on this *$£% no matter how much yo *£^*%^g beg.

Toushirou Hitsugaya in (Any school anime) - For the simple reason that he's amazing and would also hate it.

Also, many apologies, but I was actually not going to bring this up until just earlier and pretend everything's fine, but delaying putting this out would probably only make you all even more angry at  me. But despite that, if you think of a better novel choice please tell me... And if you REALLY want this project carried on I'll just either give everyone comment access to the google docs, check it every now and then and give edit access to reasonable commentators, before updating the novel and stating the names of the people who wrote the chapter or outright abandon it. I don't think I'd improve much if I wrote something I wasn't actually enthusiastic about, and in the end that's all this was. Besides, I'd like to think of myself as ever so slightly better now, so the next one will (hopefully) be of a higher quality.

While this may be a seemingly impossible task, with so many people playing the game, over the course of the twelve-year runtime three people did succeed. Of course, all three of them did great things but we... I at least... Only care about the fallen chrono-angel 'Dabilosi Tesifa' since he is the only one who joined Ainz Ooal Gown and, let's face it, this is an Overlord fanfiction.

It went from floor to ceiling, and reflected everything in the room back at her, making her slightly dizzy.

"That is the biggest fucking mirror I have ever seen." Briar commented, eyes wide as she took in the sheer size of the piece of glass before her.

Blue eyes staring at her over two half oval glasses, Bluue grinned at her. " Oh honey. You haven't seen a thing yet." Pushing a button on the wall next to her, she spun slightly on her heels. Moving her hand with a slight flourish. "Tada."

The mirror glowed red for but a moment, then stopped. Nothing happened for another moment, then the reflective surface of the mirror disappeared. Instead the mirror became glass, revealing a room behind it. Monitors made a strange red glow in the room, casting the lone figure in the room in shadow.

"Who is in there?" Briar asked, turning to face Bluue. The older woman did not respond, only looked over at the room behind the glass. "Bluue who is in the room?"

Still no answer came from the older woman. Briar stepped closer to the older woman, demanding now that she get an answer. Hand balled into a fist, she grabbed onto the collar of her coat. "Bluue! Who the hell is in that fucking room?"

"Experiment number 5434685623465. Age 20 years and seven months. DNA recombination sequence is stable." she chuckled slightly. "It is actually stable. I can not believe it."

Taking a moment from her speech, Bluue pushed another button on the panel near the glass rooms edge. Lights flickered inside the room, flashing slightly before they slowly warmed up to their full brightness. Briar gasped, looking at the sight before her. Nothing adorned the glass room except for a large mobile computer unit, and a set of odd shackles now holding someone prisoner against their will. It was who was in the shackles that concerned Briar.
