Between Life and Death

It was only a few minutes after the execution of Operation Thunderbolt when Nick Wilde, struck with terror, rushed inside the ZPD, out of breath, heading upstairs straight into Chief Bogo's office.....

Nick: CHIEF! CHIEF!...oh my god.....

Chief Bogo: Wilde! You're back! Where's the rest of the squad?!

Nick: They're....dead! All the rumors about Onyx Technologies have turned out to be TRUE!

Chief Bogo: Oh bollocks! That's impossible! It appears a new adversary has surfaced from the unknown. We must step in accordingly and take care of this new threat!

Nick's favorite little bunny partner and love interest, Judy Hopps comes into Bogo's office along with Jacob....

Judy: NICK!

She runs up to Nick and leaps onto him, just like a bunny would, and hugs him feeling relieved...

Judy: You're back! Don't you ever do your duty without me! We're inseparable, you know? You can't just go out there in the wilderness without me! Do you know how worried I was about you when I heard Bogo dispatched you to Onyx Technologies without me? I thought you'd never come back alive!

Nick: I didn't want you to get in danger. Chances are, you would be probably dead if you came with me. They spared me to deliver you all these horrifying news, they declared war to Zootopia.

Chief Bogo: Declared war? Come again?

Nick: Do I look like I am joking?!

Chief Bogo: I find it quite preposterous and far-fetched. How can a small unpopular organization declare war to Zootopia? They are not even a military organization but if what you say is seriously true, then I won't let anyone go away with killing ANY of the ZPD members. That's extremely unjustified. Nobody messes with my officers but me! I'll deal with that new threat after we've taken care of the Golden Fang Clan.

Nick: Excuse me?! Forget about the Golden Fang Clan, there's a bigger threat to be concerned about.

Chief Bogo: My orders are not to be disobeyed Officer Wilde. I said they'll be taken care of afterwards. It's gonna be a quick raid, you'll see. We now know where their hideout is thanks to Jacob. Now is our chance to end it all once and for all, to rid our beautiful city from those criminals!

Jacob: I think you should just contact the ZDF to handle that terrorist organization of some sorts. Just a helpful advice right there lads.

Chief Bogo: No, not unless we get overwhelmed for some stupid reason.

Nick: Chief, this is not a wise move to do but we'll follow your orders, the last thing I want right now is to get demoted or kicked by you!

Chief Bogo: I am taking full responsibility here. Bogo knows what to do. Even if they do have some kind of super-secret army, we will eliminate them.

Judy: But chief, the ZPD can't go to war, we are not soldiers. We're here to protect the citizens of Zootopia, patrol the streets, help those in need but we're not here to FIGHT TERRORISTS, that's the ZDF's job. There's a major difference.

Chief Bogo: We don't have evidence about them having such an army. There's no reason to contact the ZDF.

Nick: I am the evidence! I witnessed everything and they mean business!

Chief Bogo: THE GOLDEN FANG CLAN FIRST, THEN ONYX TECHNOLOGIES! Now, get outta my office! You know what your orders are! Other officers are already gearing up for the raid and I think you should too.

Nick: Whatever you say. Let's go, I am done with this pointless talk.

Nick heads out from Bogo's office and Judy follows him outside seconds later while Jacob remains standing in one place in front of Bogo's desk....

Jacob: You ain't gonna join them?

Chief Bogo: What's it to you? Get lost...

Jacob: Why are you so fed up?!

Chief Bogo: Because you're standing there FROZEN in one place for no apparent reason. Get outta here, go somewhere, or do something that will keep you away from my sight.

Jacob: Where do you want me to go? I don't have a home and my only friend is probably dead.

Chief Bogo: Just....shove off already!

Jacob: What a sudden change of attitude full of anger ....why?

Chief Bogo: Look, you wretched wolf! I just lost a couple of men out there. GOOD MEN! And you wonder why am I teemed with anger?

Jacob: I am...sorry about that.

Chief Bogo: You don't need to be sorry just get out of here and vanish! You are no use to us.

Jacob: I am no use to you. So much for unveiling the GFC's hideout to you....you're so unappreciative.

Jacob is saddened and disheartened by Bogo's words and leaves his office. He then hears Bogo slam stuff around inside but doesn't care anymore as he walks far from his office and finds a bench where he sits down in grief. In the meantime, Nick, Judy and a bunch of ZPD officers are on the way to the GFC's hideout, the clan is bound to be raided. Before things get totally out of control, let's see how our favorite hero is doing....

It's been two hours since Blake was injured by Kyle. Blake and Jack are currently in Raphael's office, tied to a chair, still holding up. Blake is determined to avenge his family when the right time comes. It's just him, Jack, Raphael, two GFC members and Kyle himself in the room. Raphael has never been this upset and disappointed...

Raphael: You stupid detestable scums! Look what you've done! Your actions have put my clan into great peril! I'm dismayed to see our partnership end in such an awful way! I trusted you two!

Blake: Says the freak who is responsible for killing my family. You won't get away with this you piece of filth! I trusted you too!

Raphael: I guess it's time to make a little confession I suppose. Yes, I admit I killed your family because I saw a huge potential in you. Your shooting and fighting skills were beyond impressive so I had to get rid of what you loved the most to create an incentive for you to join my clan, to serve me and do my bidding. My knavish plans worked out perfectly!

Jack: If I knew about this, I would shoot you in your head on sight myself, Raphael! How dared you do this to my friend you asshole!

Blake: You're about to rot in hell Raphael! We were good friends back in the old days. C'mon suckers, just cut these ropes around me so I can shoot you to pieces before the ZPD does!!! Whatcha gonna do now? Kill me?

Raphael: Perhaps Kyle can tell you what awaits both of you....

Kyle walks in front of Blake and Jack and sits on his haunches before them....

Kyle: You're about to be reborn today, as our most loyal servants. I will tame your inner beasts and make you my own! You'll fight alongside us once more! I will brainwash both of you and make you my servants. You'll soon forget your past selves and you'll redeem your allegiance to our clan.

Blake: After everything we've done, you still want to keep us alive?! We've become a threat to you, why would you keep us alive?

Jack: Blake shut up, do not tempt them to kill us, I wanna live you know?

Blake: That's fine. Spare the rabbit and get rid of me, what's the point of keeping me alive, I will NOT work for you anymore!

Jack: Rabbit? Don't you ever call me a rabbit!

Raphael: ENOUGH! You'll be brainwashed and brought back as our most proficient and ruthless killers no matter what. It's a bit of a shame Kyle didn't spare Barker's life to see you two suffer.

Jack: Victor....you killed Victor? You'll pay for that you imbecile!!!

Kyle: Getting rid of you two would be a great loss for our clan. This is why Raphael wants you two back at the cost of your feelings and memories. I shall make sure you two will obey us once more. You will succumb to the darkness and become sinners. Raphael, I will drag these two troublemakers to my chamber on your command.....

Kyle stands up and awaits Raphael's orders....

Blake: You immoral monster! I AM NOT GONNA FACE MY PAST AGAIN!

At that very moment, a large explosion is heard, the whole underground trembles....

Raphael: What the hell was that?!

Blake: That's death coming straight for you all!

Kyle: What do you mean? There can only be one death, and that death is ME! I harvest the souls of our enemies and make them undergo insufferable pain! You two are next!

Blake: You wish!

Raphael: Okay...what's going on?

Blake: You're about to confront a super soldier....

Jack: Is it who I think it is?!

Raphael: Wolfward!!!! Kyle! Do a quick recon right now and report the situation back to me immediately!

Kyle: As you wish, master. And Blake, you know I can slash open your throat anytime, so try not to enrage me too much...

Kyle disappears in the shadows to check the source of the explosion.....

Blake: You have no idea who you're dealing with right now. I suggest you run while you can....

Raphael: If you think that creature is gonna save you, you're so wrong! We will fight till our last breath and won't surrender. It took me years to establish this clan and make the biggest criminals in Zootopia congregate here underground. I won't let that be taken from me by treacherous bastards!

Then, a great shootout erupts right in the heart of the clan....

Jack: I am afraid your clan is on the brink of defeat....

Blake: The boys are killing your loyal people out there yet you still sit in your office like a faint-hearted dirty rat!

Jack: Oh he is such a great leader, isn't he? Pussycat....

Raphael pulls out his golden revolver.....

Raphael: Just keep joking and you'll end up with a bullet in your head fools! You're the reason why my clan's future is jeopardized! And you...you're the cause of my clan's impending fall!!!!! I will kill you both before you're able to witness it happening!!!

Meanwhile.....the Onyx forces are killing the mobsters in the underground casino along with their leader, Zack who is ferociously slaughtering everyone in his path by precise headshots and his bare hands. It's a total war down there. The whole scene is being watched by the clan's most feared member, Kyle who is looking down at the Onyx forces from the shadows above. It seems like the Golden Fang Clan is slowly nearing its end as it is being completely overwhelmed by Zack's forces who are vastly overpowered. They are mowing down the criminals one by one. It didn't take too long and the shootout ended in the main hall of the complex. The casino's rowdy sound is gone. There's no more music playing, no more living GFC members walking around, it has turned into a quiet calm place.

Zack: Objective complete. Proceed with planting C4 explosives all around the underground. We're gonna tear this place down! Now, where's that pitiful tiger....

Back at Raphael's Office.....

Jack: Hey! Stop pointing that damn gun at Blake! C'mon Raphael we can still make a deal....

Blake: Jack, what do you think you're saying?!

Raphael: Make a deal?! Trying to be a negotiator again? You'll die sooner than you can imagine!

Raphael was about to pull the trigger on his gun before Kyle appeared out of nowhere (like he always does, I still don't know how he does that) and interrupted Jack and Blake's execution....

Raphael: Kyle! What's happening out there?!

Kyle: Why do I have this feeling you were about to kill these two insects?! I want them alive!

Raphael: It is not you who decides their fate, but me!

Kyle: There's no time for that. We must get out of here quickly. Wolfward's forces are about to barge into your office! This clan is dead! I've seen Wolfward's forces mow them all down one by one. You can still escape death Raphael. Go!

Raphael: But what about these two traitors?!

Kyle: Their fate lies in my hands. Go!

Raphael gazes at Jack and Blake one more time....

Raphael: I hope you will suffer and die for your disloyalty and betrayal!!!

Blake: You can run as far as you can, I'll hunt you down no matter where you go!

Raphael presses a button on the back of his golden statue which opens a door leading to a secret passage. He then escapes with his two bodyguards....

Jack: Look, that pussycat is fleeing! We should go after them immediately!

Blake: At first, there's this maniac we need to deal with....

Kyle: Exactly, fox. How about we finish what we started?! I know I was supposed to brainwash both of you, but thanks to your friend Wolfward, there has been a change of plans. Without the Golden Fang Clan, you two have become frivolous. My blade will be covered in your blood one last time before I finish you off for good!

Blake: Shit here we go again....

Jack: Just make it quick. You're running out of time.....

Kyle: My loyal servants will buy me some extra time....

A group of Kyle's servants drop behind him from the shadows from above....

Blake: Is that the best you can all do? Hiding in the shadows then appearing out of nowhere like some unappetizing stupid ghouls? Lame....

Kyle pulls out his blade from its sheath.....

Kyle: Since Raphael wants you to suffer before you die, I am going to do my best to make you both sustain agonizing pain. I'll begin with your rabbit friend there. I'll slice him up into teensy pieces of flesh and I am going to do that with pure rapture! Life's just so good when it's full of bloodshed. It's so much fun to see mammals racked with pain!

Jack: What a psychopath.....

Blake: I agree. Look, Kyle, you'll die before you'll even touch any of us, I recommend you to pick that cowardly way your boss chose and get the hell outta here before you and your slaves are shot to tiny fragments of shit.

Jack: I can't wait to see them all fall and kiss the ground in blood....

Kyle: Not before I slaughter you two first....

Kyle cuts the ropes around Jack and puts him on the table forcefully ....

Jack: Okay....chill....

Blake: C'mon Zack....anytime now....where are you.....

Kyle: What did you say?!

Blake: Kyle c'mon, don't hurt an innocent bunny, I am your nemesis after all. I deserve to die first!

Jack: Blake what the hell! No!

Kyle: Shut up! You're just trying to distract me! I know your tricks! Don't worry, you'll be next. I see you can't wait to be disemboweled!

Jack: Now I know why everybody hates you to full extent. You're the devil's creation! Blake help me!!!

Blake: Kyle JUST STOP IT GODDAMMIT!

Kyle: Goodnight, rabbit!!!

Kyle is about to slice Jack into tiny pieces but then the door of the office gets blasted by Zack. The door's hinges break and it gets launched at some of Kyle's servants, immobilizing them for a brief period of time. Zack then walks in the room alone....

Zack: Showtime's over!

Kyle: Stop him you fools while I finish what I started!

Jack manages to kick Kyle in his face while he is distracted by Zack's presence and rolls down on the ground as Zack begins to proceed closer to them. Several servants attack Zack with machetes, swords and daggers. Zack uses his suit's abilities to throw the attacking servants against the wall on both sides, putting them out of action. The last couple of servants lunge at Zack with their bare hands and temporarily overwhelm him....

Kyle loses sight of Jack and then comes up to Blake who is trying hard to set himself free from the ropes....

Kyle: How's that wound I made on your belly? You won't be able to withstand the following fatal blow! This shall send you to hell where you belong!

Blake: Do it! I am not afraid of death! I can't wait to kick your ass in hell jackass!

Kyle thrusts his sword through Blake's abs who groans in agony...

Kyle: I heard you believe in afterlife. You'll keep on living in anguish after your poor soul reaches the netherworld.

Zack notices Blake being fatally injured by Kyle and roars in intense rage as he shouts Blake's name. Meanwhile, Jack leaps on Kyle's back and stabs him in his shoulder with a knife he picked up from the ground....

Jack: TAKE THIS YOU HIDEOUS MONSTER!!!

Kyle barely feels the stab and knocks Jack off of himself....

Kyle: Worthless rabbit! You should've aimed for the neck! Damn you all! You haven't seen the last of me!

Kyle drops a smoke bomb to the ground which explodes and fills the room with thick white smoke, blinding everyone in it....

Zack: KYLE!!!!!

Zack grabs the servants around him and mutilates them with his bare hands, putting an end to them. The smoke clears and Kyle is nowhere to be seen. Jack is trying to lift Blake up from the ground who is bleeding fast from the injury inflicted on him by Kyle. Zack rushes up to the two....

Zack: Step aside rabbit, or I'll bury you in that pile of dead bodies behind me...

Jack: Can't you see I am trying to help my friend?!

Blake: Zack.....it's okay. He's my friend.

Jack: And that stupid cat is gone.

Blake: This fool is always running....

Zack: Blake! I have to get you back to my place. You need some serious medical treatment...

Blake: I am not....going back to that place ever again. Why don't you just give me one of those healing syringes goddammit! Quick!

Zack: I ....I haven't brought any with myself. Besides, I don't think they would heal that wound. Here, let me help you up!

Blake: DON'T TOUCH ME!!!

Zack steps back....

Zack: I am trying to help you, dumbass! I came all the way here just to rescue you! I am not letting you die here! Come with me!

Blake doesn't listen to anything Zack says and stands up all by himself while groaning in intense pain. There's blood coming out of his mouth as he speaks....

Blake: Jack, let's go....

Jack: Blake....are you sure about this? You need to get to the hospital immediately!

Blake: Screw it! I won't rest till that freak is shot dead!!!!

Jack grabs Blake around his arm and helps him walk towards the secret passage that Raphael used to escape....

Zack: Slow down you two! Where do you think you're going?!

Blake turns around and aims his gun at his "best friend"....

Blake: Do NOT follow us! Goodbye!

Zack: BLAKE! Stay right where you are! Don't go.....not again...I am sorry for everything! Please! Don't go! Just.....just come with me and everything's gonna be okay! Let me terminate that asshole for you! You won't last long if you choose to walk down that passage. You're gonna bleed out real soon, I can save you!

Blake: I don't care!!! It's not you whose family got murdered! IT'S MINE! AND NOW IT'S MY TIME TO EXACT REVENGE ON THAT ASSWIPE! It's NOW....or NEVER! Jack, let's go before we lose that punk....

Jack and Blake disappear in the long passage as Zack is thwarted by mixed emotions as he just stands in Raphael's office in complete silence before Commander Ravendoom and Onyx units come into the office....

Commander Ravendoom: Where's he?

Zack: Gone...

Commander Ravendoom: Good. Now we can blow this place up.

Zack: I can't believe he lied to me.....

Commander Ravendoom: You can't trust anyone in this world these days. Let it go. You'll make so many new friends in our new empire. Blake is nothing but an obstruction for us, for you especially. This obstruction is something you must obviate at all costs.

Zack: I refuse to just simply kick him out of my life!

Zack turns around and starts walking out of Raphael's office pretty damn mad. Then he starts talking over the radio and orders his units to start monitoring every single movement Blake makes. The Onyx forces cleared the hideout entirely, every single criminal is dead. This marks the end of the Golden Fang Clan, but its leader, Raphael, is on loose and needs to be apprehended or killed to make sure he won't create any new criminal organizations in Zootopia.

Speaking of Raphael, he reached the end of the hidden passage with his two bodyguards....

Raphael: Finally, we're almost out! Good thing we've built this emergency exit.

Raphael's Bodyguard: Boss, I think someone's after us!

Raphael: Of course there's someone after us, hurry up fools and get this door open!

The bodyguards use a special key to open the door which leads straight outside to the abandoned parking lot. The door is covered with bushes and such to ensure nobody finds it.

Raphael: Idiots! Lock the door behind you!

Raphael's Bodyguard: Boss, the door can be only locked from one side....

Raphael: Ah, forget it! Let's get the hell outta here!

Raphael's Bodyguard 2: Boss, we will not be able to be on the run for too long. The ZPD...and that damned fox are gonna catch up with us!

Raphael: We need to take shelter somewhere until things quiet down! I won't surrender! There's still hope for us to find mammals who defy the law. We must settle somewhere else where we can start from the beginning. The Golden Fang Clan is dead and so we will be if we won't get out of Zootopia!

Raphael and his bodyguards start rushing to the parking lot and then they suddenly start hearing ZPD sirens from the distance...

Raphael: Here come our worst enemies....

Raphael's Bodyguard 2: Oh look! We are lucky boss! We can escape with that car over there!!!

Raphael: Excellent! Move your asses! Quickly!!!

Raphael and his two bodyguards make it to a SUV car. Before they are able to get in it, a bunch of ZPD cars arrive and officers get out of their cars along with our beloved duo, Nick and Judy who are leading the police raid. The officers immediately aim their guns at the mob leader and his bodyguards....

Nick: THIS IS THE ZPD! FREEZE!

Judy: PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR NOW SO WE CAN SEE THEM CLEARLY!

Raphael: This is all your fault you simpletons!

Raphael's Bodyguards (at once): But boss! We're sorry!

Raphael and his bodyguards put their hands in the air.....

Nick then tells something to Judy in a quiet tone....

Nick: I think we found our main target, sweetheart...

Judy just smirks and gives further instructions to the mob leader and his minions, then, a loud shout is heard from the secret exit of the GFC clan from which Raphael and his bodyguards came from....

Blake: RAPHAEL!!!!!

Blake and Jack make it out of the hideout safely who draw everyone's attention.

Raphael: This is unreal. He made it out!

Blake: HE IS MINE! LOWER YOUR GUNS AND LET ME KILL THAT FREAK!

Jack: Easy Blake, can't you see he is done? Look at all those ZPD cars and officers, you really think he is gonna escape now? Just relax, it's over.

Blake: It's not over yet, Jack....it's far from being over.

Part of the ZPD squad aims their guns at Blake.....

Nick: HEY! It's okay! Lower your guns! Blake is not our main mission!

Judy: What are you doing, Nick?

Nick: Trust me...

The ZPD officers aiming at Blake switch targets....and now, everyone has their guns targeted at Raphael himself and his bodyguards while Blake slowly starts approaching the criminal mastermind....

Raphael: Are you really gonna let him do all the dirty work for you? This is not gonna end like this!!!

Blake: I am sure it is you dirty scum!

Before Blake is able to avenge his deceased family, the whole ground starts trembling. The underground hideout gets blown up by Zack's forces and the ground around the parking lot cracks. The huge explosion makes Blake, Jack and the ZPD disoriented and they momentarily lose sight of Raphael while he makes his escape. He gets in the car with his bodyguards and drives off in a rush. The car is being driven by one of his bodyguards while the other one is sitting on the backseats ready to shoot back at the ZPD.

Judy: Oh no! Our subjects are escaping!

Nick: OPEN FIRE!!!

The ZPD opens fire at the car, one bullet manages to hit the bodyguard sitting on the backseat in the head and he dies instantly.

Raphael's Bodyguard: Boss, they took him out!

Raphael: Just keep driving! The Memorial Bridge is our way out of here!

Nick: He is getting away! We can't let them escape!

Judy: Nick, what about Blake Thunder and...isn't it Jack? Jack Savage? He is with Jack, you gotta be kidding me....

Nick: Leave him be.

Judy: Are you out of your mind?

Nick: He is not our main concern. Wait, you know that Jack guy?

Judy: Jack? Of course I do. But....that's another story. I'll explain...I swear I got nothing to do with that rabbit. I ....I barely even know him...

Nick: I'll keep an eye on him and I will certainly keep him separated from you! Something's fishy here between you two. We'll deal with them later. They're not going anywhere into hiding anymore.

Blake: Quick, we gotta go after them NOW or we will lose them!

Blake walks to his Hummer with severe pain in his stomach....

Blake: Thank goodness this baby is still intact!

Jack: Hold your horses! Blake, I said it's over. Let the ZPD handle the rest. We did our part. You need to get to the hospital immediately! Please! Listen to me!

Blake: Hell no! Absolutely no! Get in the damn car! You drive....

Nick, Judy and the rest of the ZPD forces are about to pursue Raphael's car. Blake sees Nick and Judy enter their dodge charger police car...

Blake: Look, there's your ex....

Jack: WHAT?! Judy? You know what, get in the car. I am driving.

Blake: Good bunny!

They both enter the Hummer and Jack starts the car's engine, pushes the pedal to the metal and starts driving after Raphael with the ZPD pursuing both of them from far behind.....

Jack: After this is over, I am retiring to some quiet serene place for the rest of my life.

Blake: That is only if they still haven't discovered our money....

Jack: Was it a good idea to entrust that briefcase to Jacob?!

Blake: I hope it was.....

Blake is slowly starting to lose his consciousness due to heavy blood loss...

Jack: Blake! You're not passing out! Stay strong man! We're gonna catch that asshole, TOGETHER!

Blake: Just....focus on the road! Look out!!!

Jack: What?! Oh shit!!!

Jack is about to crash into a civilian car until he quickly turns the steering wheel to the left and avoids it...

Blake: You're gonna kill both of us!

Jack: At least you won't die alone!

Blake: Look, silly, we take out Raphael, and then you can worry about my life!

Jack: I don't like the sounds of that! How in the hell did I end up in this situation

Blake: Raphael seems to be....heading towards the Memorial Bridge...

Jack: Which is his cheap way out of this city....

Blake: Correct! And Jack.....thanks.

Jack: For....what exactly?

Blake: For helping me and being a true friend to me.

Jack: Oh c'mon you know I would never let a friend down. I've always cherished you and valued our firm friendship even though we had a couple of disagreements in the past but hey, let's throw the past behind us.

Blake: I am not sure if I am gonna survive this but if I do, I am so retiring along with you.

Jack: With that money, we're gonna travel the world together!

Blake: But first things first, Raphael! Keep your eyes wide open and follow his car! We're slowly catching up!

Jack checks the rearview mirror...

Jack: We lost the cops, which is somewhat a good sign.

Blake: Are they really that slow?

Jack: But I still hear their sirens, from somewhere.... They must be near....

Blake: Let's stay focused...

Blake and Jack seem to have lost Raphael's car for a few minutes until they stumble across each other near the Memorial Bridge by pure accident....

Jack: There he is! Blake! Don't close your eyes please! You gotta stay with me, you hear me! We're nearly there!

Blake: I am just resting my eyes....I'll be fine....just get closer to them....

Jack: I'll try. I just hope we'll get out of here alive in the end....

Blake and Jack are pursuing Raphael's car on the Memorial Bridge. Blake leans out of the car and starts shooting at Raphael's car while trying not to hit any innocent civilians.

Raphael: Those idiots have caught up with us! GO FASTER!!!

Raphael's Bodyguard: This is the fastest I can go boss!!!

Raphael: If you don't speed up, we'll be doomed!

Jack: Is this a good idea?

Blake: How else are we gonna stop them?! This is the only way we can stop this fool! Keep the car steady goddammit!

Jack: I'm trying Blake! I'm trying! Keep in mind I'm not the best driver in Zootopia...

Blake: C'mon, just a little bit more...

Jack manages to line up perfectly straight behind the car. Blake shoots a few bullets right into Raphael's car, and one penetrates through the window and hits Raphael's bodyguard into the head. Raphael tries to take over the steering wheel as his bodyguard releases it and dies instantly from the direct shot in the head. The car starts wobbling and then it flips over in the middle of the bridge, stopping the traffic. The car is in a really bad condition and it's hard to guess whether Raphael survived the crash or not. Blake and Jack stop right before the crash site. Blake opens the door and falls down next to the door, weakened from the blood loss.

Jack: Blake!

Jack gets out of the car quickly and runs to Blake....

Jack: Blake, I swear to god if you die here, you'll really piss me off. I am not losing you, the last and only friend I have left...

Blake: I can still kick ass....help...me....up....I have some unfinished....business here....

Jack: No, just stay here, I'll finish that sucker off.

Blake: JACK! Don't! This is my job....it's not your family that has been murdered, it's mine! Ease my suffering by allowing me to kill that pitiful moron!

Jack: Just....just do it quick.....

Jack helps Blake stand up and they walk to Raphael's car. They see him severely injured and stuck in the car wreckage which blocked the road. The car landed back on its wheels. The traffic is luckily enough very low and there are only a few mammals around in their cars, observing the scene in fear from their cars...

Blake: It looks like you reached the end of the line, pal.

Raphael: I am waiting.....

Blake: For what?!

Raphael: For you to finish...me...off. It doesn't matter anymore whether I will live to tell the tale of the greatest criminal mastermind that ever lived in Zootopia, the one who led the biggest clan that remained undisclosed for decades. Now go on, kill me and complete your vengeance once and for all you dirty scumbag! I still don't think it will make a big change...

Blake: I am sure as hell it will make a LIFETIME CHANGE for me at least!

Raphael: I lived my life in paradise with my lucrative job thanks to your enormous support and our partnership that I've gained through deceptive deeds. You have failed Blake. Failed to identify your true enemy, hence why you've been paying the price your entire life.

Blake: I'm gonna do something in return okay?!

Blake shoots Raphael in his leg.....

Blake: This is for Cosmo.....

His second leg takes the next bullet...as he groans in insufferable pain....

Blake: This one is for Rudolph....

And the last shot penetrates through his skull, putting an end to the criminal mastermind for once and for all...

Blake: And this one is for Grace.

Tears drip down from Blake's eyes as he turns around and walks back to his car...

Jack: You.....you did it.....it's....over. Blake?! Wait!

Blake falls down to his knees and starts sobbing quietly in one place while also being on the brink of death. Jacks rushes up to him, worried.

Jack: Blake, I know you're going through a very tough time right now, but I have to get you to the hospital right now!

Blake: Forget it Jack....I can now die peacefully....

Blake drops down completely on the ground....

Jack: Blake! No! Get up...please! Don't do this to me please!

Jack grabs Blake and tries to pull him up from the ground or drag him but he is too heavy for him....

Jack: You are NOT dying here! You hear me?! Don't leave me! PLEASE! GET UP! You are a strong fox, you can do it, please.....BLAKE!!!!

A group of mammals get out of their cars and come a bit closer to Jack and Blake....

Jack: WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT? CALL 911!!!

Then, a hooded figure with swords walks directly to the mammals from behind unnoticed and slashes his way through the group, cutting their limbs off at a really fast pace to clear his way to Jack and Blake. Everyone panics and runs for their lives, or drives off instantly. It's Kyle, AGAIN, having survived the destruction of the Golden Fang Clan's hideout. He is the only member left and he is furious!

Jack: You gotta be kidding me! He just can't quit...

Kyle: You infernal pests! I've had ENOUGH of your existence! Your friends brought downright damnation upon the Golden Fang Clan. It's gone! My home has been destroyed!

Jack: Just go and chase yourself while you still can Kyle!

Kyle: Is that a threat? Keep in mind that your friend's lifespan is just a teensy-weensy step away from its demise which means there's nobody who will save you from my death-dealing blades! You will suffer the same fate as Barker did.

Jack: Excuse me, just because I am a small weak rabbit doesn't mean I can't give you some real trouble!

Kyle: I'll give you two choices. You will either surrender and join my side or you will relinquish your own life by fighting for that fox which is in the jaws of death!

Jack: Let's say I will fight till my last breath! I'll die protecting my best friend! C'mon freak, I am waiting! Come at me like a feral predator! I am your prey! Hunt me down!

Kyle: Let's make it quick then before the ZPD arrives! I want them to see your corpses!

Blake tries to talk with a weak voice....

Blake: Jack....don't face....him.....just run.....

Jack: I ain't got any other choice. I am not leaving you here with this asshole....

Kyle: Aren't you going to shoot me?

Jack: It's pointless to use a damn gun against you. You'd just deflect the shots with your swords. I know your tricks! I got my handy little dagger with me!

Kyle: Very well. Let this be an equitable showdown!

Jack walks directly towards Kyle who then lunges at Jack with his swords and sweeps one of his swords in an attempt to cut Jack in half but misses as the little bunny rolls sideways and jumps over Kyle's head, kicking him midair. Kyle quickly turns around to Jack....

Kyle: Is that all you got? How mindless! Your strength and fighting capabilities are no match for me, rabbit! And that dagger of yours is no use to you! Just give up already!

Jack: Surprised?! I bet you weren't expecting me to jump that high, did you? And don't worry, I am not here to kill you. I am just buying myself and Blake some time before the ZPD arrives. Are you gonna retreat and hide in the shadows again like a pussycat? I know you are scared you sissy!

Kyle: ARGH!!! ENOUGH!!!!

Kyle starts incessantly sweeping his swords trying to stroke Jack, but thanks to his incredible agility, he dodges them all and he ultimately slides in between Kyle's legs and stabs him in one leg. Unluckily, that stab doesn't make Kyle stop fighting and he grabs Jack by his ears and smashes him against the ground, immobilizing him.

Kyle: You got some slick moves, rabbit! Now, this rivalry ends here!

The ZPD convoy is heard from a distance...

Jack: You hear that? Those sirens signify that your time for running has come...

Kyle: It doesn't matter anymore. All I care about is delivering a death blow right into your chest with my sword!!!!

Kyle steps on Jack's stomach to pin him in one place as he hopelessly waits for his fate to arrive....before Blake tries to talk to Kyle to buy them even more time....

Blake: Kyle! Take....me....instead! I am....your....nemesis! Not him! Finish me off!

Kyle responds with a furious tone....

Kyle: Shut up fox!!!! Your turn will come, don't worry! It must be so poignant to see your friend boldly fight for you while your life wanes! This insignificant rabbit made a terrible mistake by facing the master of darkness, the bringer of anguish and dread! ME!!!

The dreadful lynx is about to thrust his sword through Jack's chest before a huge energy bolt hits Kyle and sends him flying far away from Blake and Jack. He lands on the windshield of a civilian car, which shatters in pieces. The ruthless lynx is now severely injured....but still alive....

Jack: What the bloody hell was that?

Blake: You...are safe.....my friend....

Jack: How do you know?

It was Zack, who shot Kyle with his advanced rifle. He is seen walking from the other side of the bridge, all alone. He reaches Blake and stares down at him...

Zack: Blake?

Jack: He is....dying....

Zack: No.....

Jack: He isn't acting or anything..

Zack: Who are you once again?!

Jack: I am Blake's friend, are you gonna annihilate my bunny butt too?

Zack: No, I just want you to keep your distance from me and Blake.

Jack: Fine, I'll stand still and wait for the cops to arrest me while my best friend dies. Perfect.

Zack picks up Blake from the ground and checks his condition with a scanner on his arm....

Jack: What are you doing with him?

Zack: Checking his condition. It's....critical.

Blake: Zack....I am....so sorry for everything...

Zack: Blake! You cannot die....not in my arms like this! I need you in my life! I can't live without you!

Blake becomes irresponsive as he falls unconscious from the huge blood loss....

Jack: Call 911 already! We are losing him, can't you see?

Zack walks to a car and gently puts Blake on its hood. Then contacts the HQ of Onyx Technologies via his radio unit....

Zack: This is Wolfward, over. I need a medic unit right now! I am at the Memorial Bridge of Zootopia.

Onyx Technologies HQ: Copy that sir. We're sending a medical truck over to your location.

Zack: Who did this to him?!

Jack: It was him.....

Jack points at Kyle slowly standing up from the hood of the car, badly injured.

Zack: You keep an eye on him while I go finish off that fiendish bastard....

Jack: Oh blast! Now he suddenly wants me to be useful and watch over Blake....

Zack: Just do what I say and I will make sure you won't get arrested.

Jack: I mean...I am not complaining. I'll do my best to protect and save my friend.

Zack walks towards Kyle who is slowly recovering from the shot. His clothes are burned, bloody and torn from the plasma shot.....

Zack: I heard you are a talented projectile deflector but you couldn't fend off a plasma bolt of high voltage energy. I bet you didn't expect that right? That is some next gen technology! I should have shot you with a more powerful bolt. You are weak just like your whole kind.

Kyle: We....finally.....meet. You must be....Zack Wolfward. You destroyed my home and killed my servants, now you'll pay dearly!

Zack: This world will be a safer and much more beautiful place without rats like you!

Kyle picks up his sword from the ground which is shattered...

Kyle: You'll never defeat me! Come and meet your doom!

Zack: Killing you will be easier than blinking with an eye!

Zack extends his arm and pulls Kyle right into his hand by using his pulse pads. He grabs him by his neck tightly.....

Zack: What are you gonna do now or say? Oh I see, somebody is speechless....well...

Zack carries Kyle to the edge of the bridge and looks down from the railing. It's a really long way down.....and there's a river flowing right underneath it with a really strong current....

Zack: Tell me, can you swim? Wait, it doesn't really matter. You won't survive the fall....

Kyle is trying hard to set himself free from Zack's strong grasp but he is unable to do anything at this point.....

Kyle: Even....if....I .....die...my.....spirit.....will....return.....and it....will...haunt you...for...all....eternity! I am.....the embodiment of evil! I will return!

Zack: No, you will not. Goodbye, freak!

Zack throws Kyle down the bridge. He falls down into a river with a strong current. This world may not see this bloodthirsty monster ever again.....

Jack: Zack? We've got company....

Zack turns around and sees ZPD cars converging on the scene. They block the road from one side and the officers get out of the car along with Judy and Nick...

Judy: Nick....don't tell Bogo anything about our arrival which took us a pretty long time...

Nick: Good point. I don't want to hear one of his excessive ramblings again. Oh dear lord, look at those slaughtered mammals....

Judy: Oh no....what happened here?!

Jack: Zack? What do you want me to do?!

Zack: Stay near Blake, I'll deal with this new threat....

The ZPD holds the two under gunpoint when Nick recognizes Zack and stays full on alert...

Nick: Honey....it's him.

Judy: Stay close to me. I got this....

Zack: Look who do we have here. A bunch of cops ready to detain me or possibly kill me. Should I be worried?

Judy: We were chasing down one of Zootopia's biggest criminals before we got various calls about a car crash that transpired right on this bridge. On top of that, witnesses claim that they saw some really dangerous mammals fighting here and I think we found exactly what we came here for.

Zack: I am sorry to disappoint but I got nothing to do with the car crash or those dead mammals. I am just here to rescue my friend who is by the way, dying right now.

Jack jumps in the conversation...

Jack: Yeah! And the real criminal you're looking for, Raphael, is no longer among the living. He's dead. See?

Jack points at Raphael's demolished car and his dead body...

Judy: Jack....

Jack steps back a bit, having the urge to hide somewhere from Judy....but he has no other choice other than stand still to see how the situation will develop...

Jack: Oh....hi darling! Hehehe....how are ya doing? Long time no see...

Judy begins to have mixed emotions as she is unable to carry out the job properly due to Jack's presence, this is where Nick steps in to deal with the case instead of her...

Nick: Look Snowboy! I don't know what happened between you two in the past but the interaction between you and Judy is an undeniable proof that you did something unpleasant to her so you better shut your mouth before I smack the carrots out of your bunny butt!

Jack: Whoa! Cool off Mr. Officer! I am not the main problem here....

Judy: Nick....it's okay. It's not the right time to be talking about relationships....

Nick: I knew it. I am going to have a serious talk with you after this is over Carrots! Understood?

Judy: Understood. Gosh, I feel really awful right now.

Zack: That fox next to you, I thought he learned a hard lesson when he came to my place for a little visit, unauthorized. He is being so protective.....and he is so concerned about his partner.....

Nick: Just wait before I get my hands on you! You'll regret everything!

Zack: Is that so? I strongly advise you to beat a hasty retreat before you will all fall...

Nick: You'll take back that forbidding remark boy! Everyone, the rabbit is not our main concern, it's that creature thing....that we must detain and bring under our control!

Judy: I agree. Listen up, Zack...was it? Let's solve this conflict in a rational way. Get down on your knees and put your hands behind your head so we can safely approach you without needing to use our guns.

Zack: That fox already called me a creature! So forget about it! I REFUSE to go down in front of ciphers!!!

Nick: Ciphers? Do you know who we are? Screw it, let's just open fire and destroy that creature! He killed a couple of officers! My friends! Our partners!!! He cannot be let off with such atrocity!!!

Zack: I tried to warn you, fools....

Zack speaks to his radio unit...

Zack: Initiate decloaking sequence....

Then, a huge swarm of battle drones decloak from their invisible form and target the ZPD squad with lasers, the tide has been turned.

Zack: Do you still insist on arresting me or stopping me from carrying out my mission?

Nick: What's this? What's going on?!

Some ZPD officers start panicking from the big surprise as they aim immediately at the drones ready to shoot but they are halted by Judy....

Judy: Don't shoot! Just stand your ground and wait for further commands!

Zack: Imploring me to withdraw the drones won't help unless you do what I say. If any of you pull the trigger on your gun, you will be all exterminated. Who do you think you are? You are just mere mammals that are pretending to be some kind of foolish heroes of Zootopia. Be prepared for the rise of a new empire after I wipe out your race!

Nick: Whatever it is you are planning to do, you WILL BE STOPPED!!!!

Zack: We shall see. Now, drop your guns to the ground....

The ZPD Officers do not obey Zack's command....

Zack: I said drop your guns!!!! NOW!!!!

He raises his hand as a signal and the drones begin charging their plasma weaponry....

Judy: Okay! We surrender! Just....do your thing, we are letting you go....

Judy puts her gun down on the ground and steps back with her hands in the air....

Nick: Fluff, what are you doing?!

Judy: There's no other way.....

Nick: I can't believe this is happening....

Nick does the same and so does the rest of the ZPD gang. They all surrender to Zack. Then, a huge dropship and a medical truck arrives....stunning the ZPD members, they have never seen anything like that before. Zack walks up to Blake and picks him up as the truck stops right next to them...

Zack: You will live Blake....you have to, brother. Hurry up, he needs immediate medical treatment!

He hands over Blake to the paramedics and they quickly drive off with the truck, rushing Blake back to Onyx Technologies to save his life.

Jack: Hey! Can I go with you?

Zack: Absolutely not! I don't even know you and I don't care if you are Blake's friend. I hate rabbits! Go join that squad of losers instead. They will gleefully take you into custody! That's their job, right? So boring. Good luck surviving the uprising of the Odynhood Empire!

Jack: But....Zack.....please!

Zack: Shut it!

The dropship lands in the middle of the bridge for Zack to enter it. He gets onboard and the doors close, leaving everyone including Jack at a loss of words. The dropship takes off and flies away along with the drone squadron.

Jack: Well, I am screwed.

The ZPD Members don't even look at Jack and they seem to be more interested in what they just saw rather than arresting Jack.

Nick: Did we.....did we really just surrender to a criminal? I can't get this out of my mind. I have never seen police officers surrender to a criminal before. It should be the other way around! We are a disgrace to our police department....

Judy: There was no other way Nick. We had two choices. We could resist and die OR surrender and survive. It all happened just because he had a technological advantage over us.

Nick: I know but we all dedicated ourselves to our job and swore to protect our citizens, to bravely fight against crime and not surrender! We have failed terribly. I am actually scared to go back to the HQ and tell Bogo what happened. It can cost our jobs....

Judy: We were unprepared for such adversary Nick. Besides, it is the ZDF's job to come to grips with criminals like that.

Nick: Then where are they? I told you all to rely on the ZDF with this case. It was a terrible mistake to do this ourselves.

Judy: Nick, sweetie. You do realize this was a completely unexpected encounter right? Our duty was to clear the Golden Fang Clan....and arrest their leader who is dead as you can see and their hideout is no longer in one piece.

Jack: Guys? Hello! Mind if I interrupt your romance?

Nick: You do not want to engage in this conversation right now, stay out of it!

Judy: Jack....get in our car....

Nick: Wait, are you serious?

Jack: She is still the same benevolent lovely bunny I remember....

Nick: You say something like that about her once more and I am throwing you down the bridge!!!

Jack: Forget it! I am not going after that assassin....

Nick: Assassin?

Jack: Yeah, the dude who cut those poor mammals into pieces...

Nick: Where's this assassin?

Jack: This Zack dude you just encountered tossed him down the bridge.

Nick: One less monstrosity to worry about...

Judy: Someone should take care of those bodies....

Two officers voluntarily decide to stay on the scene to take care of the dead bodies.

Judy: Good. A couple of you should also take care of the car wreckage. The road must be cleared. Alright, now we need to go back to the HQ....

Nick: But Bogo....

Judy: We'll tell him the Golden Fang Clan is no more. It should make him happy enough and then we will get in touch with the ZDF to take care of that uncanny wolf and his followers.

Jack: I am really digging this idea guys...

Nick: If I were you, I would hold my tongue.

Judy: Stop being so rude towards him, he didn't do anything bad to you.

Nick: Oh now you are standing up for him. Perfect. I am so having a serious talk about this with you Carrots!

Judy: Yeah, only if we get rid of this new threat...

Jack: Has he always been this jealous Judy?

Nick: Get in the car! I am not jealous! I am just....worried about her life because I do NOT trust you. Just stay away from her!

Judy: Okay guys that's enough. Belt up, both of you already! We're leaving!

Nick: I'm driving...

Judy: Good. The wheel is yours, sly fox...

Jack gets in Nick and Judy's car and sits on the backseats. Nick and Judy get in the car too. Nick starts its engine and they leave the bridge. A couple of officers remained on the bridge to clear the crash site and to take care of the dead bodies. The ZPD convoy is on route to the ZPD but little do they know that their HQ is soon going to be visited by unwelcome guests to hold an illegal party there.
