'I know you are immune to this virus, I just don't know how possible it is, 'Max said and smile briefly, 'im just always glad you are alife'

Jessica smile too, 'im glad too. Atleast my parent effort didn't go in vain. I miss them so much, 'she swallow on the large lump on her throat and looks away

Max sign, 'come, 'he whisper and pull her into a bear hug. Jessica stiff for a while before smiling and relaxing. She looks forward and something caught her eyes. There's a small black dot at a corner of Max's ear.

Max blush slightly, 'i don't. I'm a man, I can still control myself'

'Exactly! Was why I caught you sleeping the other time, 'Jessica tease and Max blush gets more reddish. He looks away, a bit embarrassed thereby exposing his right ear where the black small dot is

Hot anger surge through her, 'You wouldn't dare, 'she scream and charge at him at once

She moves to punch him but he dodge and held unto his arm. She hit her head against him but he still won't bulge

Seizing the opportunity, she looks at his right ear for the black dot but it wasn't there.

The black dot can't have disappeared overnight

The absent of the dot means one thing

That he's definitely not Max

'I don't know what works around here but I know you are definitely not Max. At first I believed it. I mean who won't.

But then, I should have known Max would never betray me.

She knew Max lookalike heard everything she said. She somehow knows he's somewhere listening.

She quickly pull up the clothes of one of the men and wears it. She pick the mask and look around her again

The battleline have just been drawn

Max thought for a while as the bus park a few kilometers away from the huge building he suppose Jessica was brought to.

Instead of going to SHALERA,Charles turn back and followed the men closely. They all want Jessica back

He shouldn't have let her go in the first place and he's not going to let her go anymore. He is going to rescue her with the others

'Dad, are we really going to get Jessica back? 'Mary ask innocently but sadly

'yes, I promise. The others should stay in the car, including you, 'he looks at John, 'keep to your promise ok?, 'he says and John nod slowly. He look at steven, 'Let move'

'Something keep telling me all we need to do is enter that building and fuck everyone there up, 'a man saved by Jessica earlier says and everyone look at him, 'i mean why else will this place be deserted, not even a single zombie is out here'

'Hes right. They probably have some stupid sort of plan, 'the old woman from earlier contributed

'So, am going with you, 'he smile briefly before picking the flame thrower, 'amma burn them all alife! 'He laugh wickedly. Max sign, frustrated and get down with the others

Jessica walk out of the room. There's a camera on the corridor. She wink at it before jumping up to kick it.

Some men rushes out from nowhere with guns. They surround her within minutes, each pointing the gun at her

She look at them for a while then falls and roll to a guy by her side. Everyone fire the shot at once but she already caught a guy and used him as the shield.

She push him at them and takes his gun.

One, two three... She shot down three, kick one and shoot four.

One was pointing gun at her, she looks to her side at a fire extinguisher there. She picks it quickly and throw at him. Before he could regain himself, Jessica had already shot him down.

She looks around her... All dead

She picks their guns and fit it in her pocket excluding one which she held firmed.

She continue to walk along the corridor. There's a room just close by. She walks in and pick two syringe before walking out again.

She continues to walk through the corridor but suddenly, the doors around her start opening itself.

She stops walking and look around. The first thing she heard was the growling of an animal

Just then a loud scream, and then the demons comes running out...

What the....

So they were keeping them in here???in the rooms??

~They enter the compound~

'Come on, let go, 'Max whisper then stops suddenly

Steven move nearer, 'Did something happened? '

Max bend slightly as if he was hearing something, 'can you hear that? '

Steven raise a brow and concentrate, 'what? '

'Let leave now or...., 'he stops immediately just as the demons comes running out from inside the building

'Omg! It's the fucking zombies! They were keeping them in! '

What the....

'Bastards!'

'Omg! It's the fucking undead! They were keeping them in! '

What the...

'Bastards! 'steven spat and shoot at them.

'No! 'Max scream at once, 'We have to get back, 'he says quickly and rushes forward, running back from where they were coming from.

One zombie jumps at Max and he kick it away then whirl to shoot it. Just then, his sight caught the zombies pulling at Steven's legs. He raise the balzooka in his hand and shoot at them quickly.

Steven gets up, and pick the race toward the bus leaving Max behind

'Ahh! 'Max scream suddenly and look down at his leg, at the zombie sticking to it. Angrily, he shoot at it , just to discover he had been bitten

He rushes forward nonetheless

The others had already entered the bus when he got there. He shoot at another zombie that was way too forward before climbing in and closing the door.

His heart skip a beat at the realization that he would soon be dead

But what the heck have they done to Jessica

'Max, you are bleeding'

Max sighs, 'i have to go and look for Jessica'

'You will die if you do so, 'steven exclaimed

'im bitten already, there's no hope for me, 'he look over at Mary and caught her crying. He looks away bravely and smile just as he used to

'come here, 'the old woman beckons Mary over. She complied and rested on her chest, sobbing.

Mary doesn't believe she's going to be an orphan soon
