Kanaru and Fukiyose were walking together on the school grounds.

"She's always like that, she just follows her instincts." Fukiyose said.

Kanaru raised his eyebrows slightly at her response.

"More than 1 month ago a video appeared showing you in the middle of a very injured man who was apparently a level 5 esper. That video mysteriously disappeared and attempts to re-upload it to the internet were useless. Nowadays many thinks that this video is false, but I know that this video is not false." Fukiyose said as she looked into Kanaru's eyes.

His eyes showed calm.

"Why are you sure that video is not fake?" Kanaru asked.

"That's because I was present that day in that place where you fought and I saw you." Fukiyose replied.

She was looking for a change of expression on Kanaru's face, but she didn't find that.

"You can believe what you want. But why do you guide me if you know I'm dangerous?" Kanaru asked.

"You are not dangerous. In that battle I saw how you intentionally avoided hurting other people and I also saw how you deflect that guy's attacks so that others don't get hurt. You even saved my life." Fukiyose replied in a different tone than usual. She kept talking.

"Why did you choose this school? I know you are at least a level 5 esper. In this school you'll be lucky to find a level 2 esper."

"I don't care about differences in level." Kanaru said.

"I see..." She murmured.

They both kept walking until they reached a warehouse.

Fukiyose entered the warehouse.

After a while, she came out with a set of sportswear in her hands along with classic sneakers.

"Get in there and get dressed, quick." She said pointing to the warehouse.

Kanaru received the set of sportswear and he nodded.

He closed the door.

'Um... these clothes are my size.'

"I hope you can help us get a better position in the festival."

While Kanaru was dressing he heard Fukiyose's voice.

"Most of the students in this school don't care much about their school ranking, I hope you're not like them."

Kanaru left the warehouse.

He now wore a white polo shirt and light blue shorts with white sneakers. He still had his black headphones around his neck.

"I've left my clothes in the warehouse." Kanaru said. He kept talking.

"Forget it, I've no reason to help them, I don't know them, I just want to study. Also, as incredible as you think I am, I'm just one person."

Fukiyose sighed deeply.

"Just don't forget my words. And don't worry, I won't tell anyone about you."

Kanaru smiled.

"Yes... I'm sure you won't."

His eyes changed to a star-shaped yellow color.

After seeing the memories of her, he noticed that only she in this school witnessed his fight against Kakine.

Kanaru erased those memories.

After a while they both walked towards the other students and Yomikawa.

On the way, Fukiyose asked him more questions and this time Kanaru answered more naturally.
