Bonding

Going through the hallway, the mood had shifted. As I rounded the corner, Lucifer pinned me against the wall raking his hands over me he whispered, "After that raw use of power, I think it's time we consummate our betrothal Bonnie.". Before I had time to react, I was wrapped within his wings watching Lamia and Lilith's faces becoming tiny specs in seconds. Lucifer dropped me on the bed, his eyes flickering to that rare blood lust red that only lasted a few seconds at a time except this time, it wasn't going away. I sat on the bed in shock as I watched him remove his clothing down to a pair of black boxers that did nothing to hide the growing erection in between his legs. "And what if I don't want to?" I finally asked, ringing my hands together and making note of every detail on my hands. "What?" Lucifer snapped back at me. I opened my mouth to repeat myself and a look of defeat came over him. "Really Mia? I have been so patient and nice. What am I doing wrong?" he huffed. "I… I I'm just not ready yet." I stuttered out. He began to get dressed, his shoulders slumping. "I'll wait." he huffed out his eyes shifting back to the duller red he carried daily with him. I stood up and headed for the door. "I'm going to go talk to Lamia." I called to him and he nodded once at me still pulling his blazer on. Closing the door behind me, I heard yelling come from one of the rooms down the hall. Following it back to the courtroom I overheard that grungy voice talking to someone. "I want her dead. She has sided with Lucifer." carried through the air just enough for me to make it out clearly. I went to peer around the corner when a familiar voice caught me by surprise, "Who are we stalking?". I whipped my head to find a look of excitement and the rows of teeth peering out of a smile at me. "Horde!" I angrily whispered out. His smile faded and his eyes narrowed to slits. Pointing at the door he whispered out, "That guy in there wants to kill you badly. You hurt his ego pretty good.". I rolled my eyes and made my way down the hall Horde following behind me. "No Shit Horde." I said sarcastically. Without him replying, I huffed out, "Thank you for your help with my chains.". Reaching the door of the void, I could hear voices overlapping. Before I was able to turn the handle I turned to look at Horde who stopped me, his eyes wide in surprise. "Mia" he paused, looking around as if trying to find an answer, "I didn't manipulate your chains.". Before I could reply, the door to the void sprung open and B was standing with his hand on the knob. "Where have you been?!" he queried. "Around" I said playfully, raising my hand and motioning a small circle. I looked back at Horde who looked like he was still trying to solve an equation when he took off down the hall towards mine and Lucifer's room. I rolled my eyes, "Bye Horde." I called out sarcastically with no reply from him but his footsteps. Looking into the void, B, Lamia, Lilith, and Seli were standing around each other talking about what just happened. "This is a huge shakeup. We need to be very careful when interacting with males now." Lamia said as I walked closer to their grouping. "So me and Horde just overheard one on their phone talking to someone about me being dead." I interjected into the conversation. B rolled his eyes, "No one can probably kill you Mia. You have the weird light show that kicks in when you're in actual danger." he said waving me off. "Depends on who he calls." Lilith stated. "What do you mean by that?" B asked her sarcastically. "What I mean is, Heaven could feel like Mia has totally aligned with Hell because of Lucifer and angels could get involved." Lilith replied. I looked around and not finding Mika'il, I asked "Where is Mika'il? I haven't seen him in like a week.". Lilith replied immediately, "Oh yea, he's gone upstairs to explain the situation down here. Lucifer believes we may see an uprising and it could get messy.". "And no one thought to tell me? He can't come back without a command." I said my voice falling flat. Seli who had been quietly observing began to speak, "Mia, you've been down here for a while. You're going to have to have to visit Heaven at some point.". Before I could reply to Seli Lamia interrupted, "Have you even banged Lucifer yet? It's not set in stone until that happens.". I could feel my cheeks burning and my palms became sweaty. Noticing my reaction Lamia chimed, "Oh my God you haven't?!". "No I haven't, I'm not ready yet." I huffed out. B spoke up at this point, "You were a whore when you were a human what's changed?" I gave him my look of 'I want to hurt you' and he settled down. Lilith approached me and put her hand on my shoulder. "Why not Mia?" was all she asked in a motherly tone. I removed her hand from my shoulder and stepped back a bit. "I don't know. I'm just not ready.". Lamia scoffed and I side eyed her. Lilith replied calmly, "Mia, you have to finish the bond.". "What 'bond'?" I asked her putting air quotes around the word. Lilith looked like she was trying to find the right way to describe it while I saw Lamia roll her eyes. "So angel's work a little bit differently from demons. Technically they aren't supposed to love each other. Each angel has a specific duty but those angels who fall, aren't bound by that. Angels who fell or first creations find that they have a twin flame who they are drawn to. Some think it's a part of God's plan that he knew they would fall and had a backup plan just in case. It's the bond that lycan's bonds are modeled off of." she paused for a moment and looked down before continuing, "When you've met them, it's a foreign feeling. It feels like…. Like… Kind of like your skin is bubbling or humming in a good way. Sometimes it can be a feeling of safety or even a knot in your stomach.". A lone tear fell down her face before she looked back at me saying, "If you have this with Lucifer, you should not be letting it waste away.". I sat in a mild shock. A lot of things made sense now. The feeling of being safe when I first got to hell, the vibration I felt the first time my skin met Lucifer's, and finally the foreign feeling I had had the day I almost sucked Sathanos' soul out. I found my mouth hanging open and a look of sadness coating Lilith. "Adam?" I asked and she nodded slowly, closing her eyes while more tears fell. Lamia huffed out, "Lilith, let it go. Mine was Zeus and we saw what kind of cruel joke that was." rolling her eyes. "Don't let it waste away Mia." Lilith whispered and made her way towards the door exiting the void. "I'll see you all later. Let me know when Mika'il makes it back." I called making my way towards the door. As I turned to head down the hall, I found myself staring at Lucifer's chest. "Ah Bonnie, now do you get it?" he said. "You were listening?" I asked, looking up at him. A devilish smile played over him and his eyes oozed with lust resorting to that rare crimson red, "Of course. It affects me a lot more than you love." he paused, eyeing me up and down, "Now shall we get to it. It will get a lot more enjoyable once it's snapped in place.". Between my legs started to pulse with excitement but my thoughts rambled. I was scared but not as scared as I once was before. If it was set in place, then it's a part of a plan. My knees felt like they were going to buckle before he scooped me in his arms and carried me back towards the room. "Why not." I sheepishly stated and Lucifer sped up putting us in front of the door within seconds.
