Strange Visions/ Happenings.

✓ Kiergan

There was an eruption of jolts in my body as I jerked awake, breathing heavily, while the ray of the sun that met with my face caused me to squint my eyes and groan at the hotness.

The words of the little girl ringed loudly in my head, and I gritted my teeth to keep them out, while my chest moved in a fast rising and falling motion.

What was all that had just happened? What was the girl talking about? Why was she there? Why did my wolf appear at that moment?

I asked myself these questions, however, one of her statements that stayed with me was the idea of her turning me and my friends back into humans. Could she really do that?

Thane and the rest rushed towards me and knelt beside me, Thane being the first to speak, he held my hand, cutting through my thoughts.

"Kiergan! Dude, you're awake?! What happened?!" Thane asked, while he pushed me shoulders up and drew me into a tight embrace.

My head banged as I laid still on the ground, before I moved my upper body up, with Thane's help as he patted my back, while he took me to sit behind one of the trees.

Thane took a seat beside me, just as the others also joined us, all staring at me, waiting for me to tell them what had happened.

I sighed and exhaled slowly, but sharply, I was quite confused whether to tell them or not. "Why are y'all staring at me in this manner? What happened to me is not something any of you should worry about."

"You can't tell me that was nothing, Kiergan." Joanna said through her teeth, perhaps trying to calm her fury.

"You slumped to the ground, and stopped breathing, while acting like an epilepsy patient, for heaven's sake! And, you say it's nothing?!" Joanna finally lashed out, and left us, pacing around with her hand on her forehead.

Orion went over to console her, but she jerked away his hand, which was quite unusual. There's been a change in her attitude since she became a werewolf; she seemed more mature, and empathetic.

I swallowed hard, and shut my eyes shut. "I've been hearing voices and having strange visions that seem real, and it started on the day that we went to the camp."

"What do you mean by strange visions?" Joanna finally returned her attention to me, and questioned.

"I've been seeing a little girl—"

"Let's get us home!"

"Orion!" Thane and Joanna called in unison.

"What?! Do you believe him? Dude's just becoming a sick patient as it is. He must be dying soon."

My head sparked with anger as soon as the words were out of his mouth, and I tried to rush at him, just to throw a few punches to his goddamn face, but I stumbled back to the ground, my body going limp as though all of the life inside me had been sucked away.

"We should listen to Orion. It's getting late." I supported myself with the tree as I stood up, but only to fall back to the ground.

"Hey! Calm down." Joanna rushed to my side to hold me, my heart melted, and found it way down to my belly, awakening the butterflies who didn't take a while to start jumping around.

"I'm fine. I'm fine." I waved my hand, and stood up again, feeling just a little dizzy this time. "We need to leave now."

"But, you have not told us exactly what you saw, Kiergan." Joanna pressed.

"Drop it, Joanna!" Thane shouted curtly, "Can't you see how drained he is? Let him be."

"Mind your business, you dummy!"

"What did you just say?!" Thane turned towards her and grabbed her shoulder.

"I said what I said! You are a dummy!" Joanna stared straight into his eyes, and placed a hand on her waist.

As soon as Thane raised his hand to hit her, Orion rushed at him, and punched him in the face.

While I watched them, feeling quite helpless and exhausted, a shadow caught my sight, and I blinked multiple times. I was seeing things again?

"Let's get out of here, guys! It's getting late." I tried to hurry up, and went to drag Thane up, from the ground as he wiped the blood on his broken nose.

He groaned, and removed his hand from my grip violently and started leaving, while I immediately followed after him, calling his name. However, suddenly, I tripped on a branch and fell on my face to the ground, still Thane didn't stop, but Joanna rushed over to tend to me. I was damn embarrassed.

Just as I was about to stand from the ground, my eyes caught the oxidized knife the girl was holding, and the fleeting shadow again. My heart skipped loudly in a unrhythmic manner, while picked it up, and tucked it quickly into my pocket, while I dusted my clothes.

Why was it here? What is going on now?

"What is that?" Joanna asked, as she helped me with my clothes, while Orion was gloating behind us.

"It's nothing. Just a knife I take around." Clearing my throat, I tucked the knife deeper into my pocket, gave Joanna an awkward smile, and started leaving.

____

"Wait guys, what's going on? Why are we back here?!"

"OMG! That's true! I didn't notice that!" Joanna shouted, clearly shocked.

"Sh*t! What's this mess now again?!" Orion muttered a cuss underneath his breath, and punched into his palm.

After a few minutes of finding our way through the forest, we had arrived at a place, but not outside the woods— instead, we were back to the place where we had just left.

"Let's not get fidgety yet. We must have lost our way. Let's go back and take this direction now." I pointed towards the opposite route we had taken earlier.

"I thought you said you knew this place like the back of your hands, Orion?" Joanna asked Orion, her arms crossed against her chest.

"Wh__what?" Orion stuttered, a confused look etching on his face, "I didn't say anything like that!"

"Who the heck brought us here?!" Joanna shouted.

"Guys!" I shouted, cutting through their conversation, "Wait, where's Thane?!" Immediately the words left my mouth, my palms became sweaty, and my body shook slightly.

"He's here!" A voice called, and Joanna screamed. Surprised, both Orion and I followed Joanna's gaze and saw hundreds of queer looking foxes, their heights two times of a human, with one holding a body with his fangs.

A realization hit me like a strong slap across the face, and my body shook violently, "Thane!"
